Anyone else get a little disappointed when there's a love triangle in a story and one of the love interests does something unforgiveable towards the end?

I'm not saying it's bad writing or anything. It just makes the main character's choice in the end feel less genuine. Because now her options are basically an angel and some guy who kicked her dog or something.

Growing up, I heard modern phrases like "love the sin, hate the sinner" and "modest is hottest" quoted in Christian circles way more than I ever heard them quote the words of Jesus. It made me realize that maybe it was never really about Jesus' love to them. Maybe it was about control

I'm ngl to you it sounds like your friends fucking sucked I hope you find better people that just tell you if they wanna hang or not.

Thank you. I have started hanging out with some wonderful people within the last year, and it's making me realize that friendship doesn't have to be scary or stressful. There are people that understand me and actually like me, and I'm really grateful for them. I hope everyone that relates to my other post finds the people that understand them too

how do you guys explain burnout to your allistic family members?? how do you accurately describe a feeling the other person has never experienced? I can't seem to effectively communicate that I can't just sleep this off over a weekend. I barely understand it myself at this point, and the communication barrier is making things so much harder

therapists did not know what to do with me as a kid. this one lady had me place action figures in a sandbox while she tried to decipher the meaning behind my choices. her: why did you choose the power ranger? do you maybe feel like you relate to him? like you are fighting through life? me, 12 years old and undiagnosed autistic: it was the closest toy to me

her: okay. what about this cow? why is he sinking a little? do you feel like you're drowning a bit too? me: I pushed him down a little too hard and then we just sat in silence for a minute while she planned her next move
