Escribiendo historias

La primera vez que escuché la palabra sueños, siempre lo imaginé como una fantasía, una ilusión que parecía lejana y solo a las manos de aquellos que veía en la televisión, escuchaba en la radio o veía en cine. Con el tiempo aprendí que un sueño es más que un producto de la imaginación, es un sentimiento que hace parte de ti, hace parte de todo lo que deseas. Aprendí que es tu decisión si decides que continúe bajo las garras de la fantasía o si deseas que cobre vida y se materialice en lo que hace que tu corazón palpite como si fuera tu primer amor. 

Desde muy pequeña me enseñaron que el mundo del cine está lleno de historias que te pueden inspirar, yo era una niña que podía repetir una película cinco veces al día sin cansarse y cada vez, encontraba un nuevo detalle que me impactaba. Desde ese momento, mi mente siempre imaginaba nuevas historias. En el silencio de la noche, me ponía mis audífonos y cerraba mis ojos, cada canción que sonaba era la banda sonora de mi creación, podía reír o llorar pero siempre me emocionaba el hecho de que esta vida está llena de historias por contar, de miradas que necesitaban ser entendidas y de voces que necesitaban ser escuchadas.

Soy cineasta, queda mucho camino por recorrer pero confío en mi talento, en mi imaginación, creatividad y mi habilidad de ver cada detalle de la vida como una línea más en mi libreto y cada persona como un actor más en mi historia.  Este Blog es solo una primera oportunidad de mostrar los temas que me apasionan, de tomar cada película, serie y canción que me ha inspirado. Es un proyecto que me ha enseñado a mostrar los temas que me apasionan sin ningún tipo de vergüenza porque esto es lo que soy, una mujer que vive en la realidad y que aprovecha cada situación para crear un sueño basado en verdaderas historias.

Detrás de cámara se juega con la creatividad, aprendí que puedo crear una historia con la que te puedes identificar, que te inspire y que te motive a creer en lo que eres, sin ningún miedo y sin el pesimismo que muchas veces cierra puertas. El objetivo de mi proyecto de marca personal fue creer en lo que me apasiona, muchas veces lo dejé a un lado porque parecía un sueño lejano pero aprendí que el fracaso empieza cuando dejas de intentar.

Nocturnal animals - part 2

The book.-basically shows the transition of Edward  He’s pissed off and he wants to show his pain... what he felt with the divorce and the abortion of his girl. He wants revenge

Tony - in the story Tony is married with Laura and he has a daughter called India. They’re passing through a dark highway. On the way, they encounter a car that is blocking them and everything becomes a mess when they meet Ray, Lou and Turk. Tony tried to cooperate with all of them but at the end it was impossible. Turk and Ray kidnap Laura and India while Lou forces Tony to drive to an abandoned place and leaves him there.

Tony Hastings represents Edward as the father he could never be. Laura represents the image that Edward had of Susan, before her divorce. India represents Edward's dream of being a father. The sad part of all of this is that the gang killed his wife with a hammer to her head and it was quick. However, the daughter suffered a lot more because she was suffocated.

Turk, the first of the criminals, represents Susan's adultery. After all, he is the first of the criminals to fall. It’s interesting how in the movie there wasn’t a scene that showed his death, maybe it’s because in a way he could forgive the adultery but no everything that followed.

Lou, the second of the criminals, represents deception. It means Susan’s intention to misrepresent the truth. Lou, is the criminal responsible for taking Tony away from his family, with lies telling him that he was going to reunite with his family. Also, the fact that Lou did not kill Tony, but left him abandoned, represent Susan's alleged intention not to reveal the truth, not to hurt Edward.

Ray, the last of the criminals, and the cruelest and most disgusting of all, is the act that finally liquidated Edward's dreams. He raped and murdered Tony's wife and daughter. Ray represents Susan's miscarriage.

Unimportant. We do what we have to do. Blake understood. Treated it like a joke, but he understood. He saw the cracks in society, saw the little men in masks trying to hold it together … he saw the true face of the twentieth century and chose to become a reflection of it, a parody of it. No one else saw the joke. That's why he was lonely.

Nocturnal animals - part 1

SUSAN ... an unhappy, materialistic, cynical woman, full of luxuries but with an empty life. 

 EDWARD... a romantic, kind writer, full of dreams and hope.

They’re in love...  she marries Edward.... but.....

Her mother was right.... She warns that Edward is not the right guy for her.. he’s not capable to make her happy for not having the right drive to build wealth.  Edward still has faith in their relationship. He fails-  Susan cheats on Edward with a businessman.

Susan finds out that she’s pregnant with Edward’s baby girl. Her ‘’new boyfriend’’ helps Susan follow through with an abortion. She thought Edward would never find out but he catches them red handed in the hospital..Its too late he’s broken. 

This is the beginning of his greatest pain. Edward writes a book for revenge but she doesn't know this. She receives the book and starts reading.
