But in an alternate universe of Wind Breaker where everyone is genderswapped (like all the male characters are now female and the few female characters are now male), what would happen to Tsubaki? Would he become male presenting or just be the badass female presenting person he is now? (I’m using male pronouns because the creator uses male pronouns for Tsubaki but if it’s actually they/them please let me know). Like I’ve been seeing lots of genderbent Sakura and others fanart (which is so good legit Sakura looks adorable) and my late night thinking conjured this query.

You know the joke of people sharing a brain cell but that only one can access it at a point?

Zoro and Luffy share a brain cell but neither has access to said brain cell unless it involves fighting, drinking, or meat. Otherwise:

I’m sorry zosan fans but you could never convince me to ship it. Zolu had my heart the first time they interacted in the show/manga and then reaffirmed it for me in the Live Action. Zoro is too obsessed with his captain (like legit everyone on the crew is obsessed with Luffy to some level) to even think twice about maybe feeling romantic feelings for Sanji. Those two (Zoro and Sanji) to me (this is my opinion so if it differs from yours, that is okay) feel more like best friends who don’t want to even admit they’re friends out loud but as soon as someone bad mouths either in a serious way, they’ll beat that person’s ass. Zoro is down bad for luffy in my opinon and Luffy is the same but it doesn’t show as much cuz Luffy is also Luffy and is more than likely unaware. Like when they reunite on Zou, it shines through just how close those two are. Yes, Luffy gets excited reuniting with his crew when separated, but it just felt different for me (and honestly shipping is the last thing on my mind when watching One Piece, it’s legit the only fandom I’m in where I actively try not to watch it with shipper glasses, cuz I’ve been in so many fandoms that shipping has gotten out of control and I just want to enjoy something without being reminded about the ship wars going on on social media. One Piece is my safe space show where I can just enjoy and be immersed into [I legit had to leave the one piece community on Twitter cuz it got so toxic on there it was affecting my enjoyment of the show])

Anyways, this isn’t me saying people shouldn’t ship zosan and should ship Zolu, it’s just me saying I personally couldn’t ship zosan no matter what. It’s a good ship, objectively, but it’s just not for me. I do wonder if Zolu hadn’t got to me first, then maybe I would ship the more popular ship, but it’s not really important in the overall thoughts (shipping I mean isn’t important in my enjoyment of the show). The only reason I am bringing it up now is because a video showed up talking about Zoro and his jealousy whenever someone thinks they know luffy better than him or when luffy brings up someone and their strength and Zoro is like ‘hey don’t forget about me’ (but they weren’t even going on about the ship, it was just about how Zoro and Luffy are best friends and like their bond is close)

Okay so I’m mostly an anime watcher of Wind Breaker (I just started reading the manga) but Tsubaki just shot up to be my second favorite character (Sakura is my top one, he needs to be protected). Like excuse me Tsubaki-Chan, how dare you shoot up the ladder immediately when you fully debut in the anime, Kaji and Suo worked very hard to get to the second to top spot now they’re tied for third.

jegulus fic where james is a youtuber/streamer who does all sorts of pretty crazy pranks and people ADORE him because he's totally shameless.

one day he gets dared to crash a wedding and oppose it, pretending to be in love with either the groom or the bride.

and even though his editor (and bestest friend) remus told him that that's fucking insane, james still chose to do it bc he's a menace. but he does promise to cut it all off if things get messy.

james gets everything ready and, after stalking some of his old school classmates, he finds that one of them is attending a wedding (it's mulciber, who james remembers to despise back then, so it's a win-win situation), which means his plan is all set.

by fate, and fate only, this wedding is regulus' and some girl's his parents chose for him (and mulciber was invited bc his family is very close to the black's)

and obviously, this is a clear forced marriage, regulus would rather kill himself than marry a girl, he's as gay as they come.

[for sake of the plot, sirius and james don't know each other at all, didn't go to school together either, and sirius didn't run away and is also livid with his parents for marrying reg off, but there wasn't anything he could do]

so! prank day, james is live the moment he, very dramatically, stands up and proclaims his love for this.... regulus guy, and how he knows he promised to not come but he just couldn't handle the thought of the love of his life being married to someone else (his followers thought he was going to claim to love the bride, but james found the groom way too cute and he just couldn't hold himself back, he's just a guy)

the 30 seconds of pure silence and shock that follow are almost enough to make james break character and start laughing like crazy.

regulus, who's flabbergasted by the way, knows immediately that it's a prank. however, this might as well be a sign of the gods, because, what are the chances that this (very handsome) random man, chose HIS wedding out of all, and targeted HIM to be the one he "loves"? way to many coincidences.

also, did he mention the dude is unbelievably fit?

he makes a choice right there.

using all his acting abilities, he makes a whole scene tearing up and running to him. it's so well done, james for a second believes they are actual lovers.

hell breaks at that moment, walburga goes absolutely nuts along with orion and their side of the family. the bride's family start a fight, and between the commotion regulus sees his brother laughing maniacally after their mother yells at regulus to stop playing games or he will get disowned.

james, who thinks that this is now along the lines of things getting messy, is about to announce it's all a prank, when regulus sees right through him, panics, and just whispers "im going to kiss you now, sorry" before snogging the life out of him.

remus, who's the camera guy, cuts the live right there.

james, oh james, he doesn't quite hear the screech walburga lets out because this backfired so bad, but jesus chirst can this regulus kiss. this is love at first sight. love at first prank, if you may.

regulus knowing stuff is about to get bad, just grabs james' hand and runs for it. james just follows, he's dizzy. remus also follows because he's NOT getting involved in all that, he's actually quitting james.

sirius follows too, if his little brother is finally disowned, there's no reason to stay, thank you very much.

canon sirius this canon sirius that canon sirius knew a man who canonically cross-dressed (even if for convenience) & did not bully him, did not mistreat him, did not approach the subject with malice or negativity. canon sirius said, verbatim, "if you want to know what a man's like, take a look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals." canon sirius asked remus for forgiveness for not believing in the best of him. canon sirius instantly, without hesitation, forgave remus for believing in the worst of him. canon sirius expressed sympathy for barty crouch jr in regards to his father's neglect and entertained the possibility that barty may have been "in the wrong place at the wrong time" when discussing his crime. canon sirius, when he thought he would be a free man, immediately offered his godson a home and a place with him, even without being aware of the neglect his godson faced, even before he had a home to offer, and he did so by prefacing that he would understand if his godson didn't want to, making it clear he would not try to force him. canon sirius could be cruel, and insensitive, and vengeful, and obstinate—but that's not all he was. canon sirius could also be compassionate and sympathetic and forgiving and accepting. canon sirius was complex, and it goes both ways, in the direction of his faults as well as his virtues. btw.

All these people on Twitter going on about all the women Zoro ‘bags’. And I cringe because like Zoro isn’t like that. He’s unaware of the women who find him attractive.

Not in an oblivious way, but I’m of the firm belief that unless you’re his crew or Mihawk or maybe Perona (only since they spent two years together training and you can’t just ignore someone on an island with only three people on it), Zoro just doesn’t truly care about you enough to notice your romantic feelings or feelings in general. You don’t register on his radar.

And also he even ranks the people who do register on his radar (not on the romantic register since there is no canon romantic partner Zoro is interested in) on who’s feelings matter the most. Here’s my ranking of this:

1. Luffy

2. The Crew

3. Mihawk (he just wants to surpass him but also I think he wants Mihawks approval of being worthy to take his title)

4. Sanji (this is a joke, even with their rivalry and fighting all the time, he does try and make sure sanji is doing okay emotionally and all that, in reality he��s up there in the ranking of the crew)

Also, I do think that the gap between luffy and the crew is pretty decent. Like Zoro cares for the crew a lot, but much like the people who watched the live action without watching the anime and then watching the anime, we know that that bond between Zoro and Luffy is something no one can touch in the One Piece Universe.

Like I’m not even saying this in a shipping pov, this is something I noticed long before I knew shipping existed, let alone ZoLu being a romantic ship. Like you take Luffy’s relationship with his sworn brothers and yeah that’s special in its own way, but like Zoro and luffy were just as connected emotionally and soulfully (like soulmates [you could take it as romantic soulmates or platonic soulmates it’s your choice]) to each other that Zoro was willing to sacrifice himself for luffy after only knowing him for a year (or less or a little more idk the timeline), which is significant because it’s a direct parallel with Ace, later, sacrificing himself for Luffy to live. His bond to luffy was as close as luffy’s bond to ace and Sabo (who, for ace’s case, knew luffy for years, idk how long Sabo knew luffy before he got amnesia cuz it’s really hard to figure out the timeline and how much time has passed and I’m sure it was made known in the anime/manga but I can’t remember off the top of my head)

So anyway, sorry to the Twitter folks but Zoro isn’t a lady’s man simply because he just doesn’t care about anyone except for his crew and mihawk and perona (but the latter two is only cuz one is literally standing in the way of his goal but he’s also an inspiration and the other is cuz of prolonged exposure). Yes those women like him, but I think a lady’s man is someone who is aware of the women flocking him and who in some way entertains them whether it’s flirting or acknowledging them.

I’m not saying he doesn’t care about anyone else, it’s just that it’s kinda insignificant bc of the ones at the top of the list. He couldn’t care less about strangers, but the ones he knows he cares a little about but not enough to notice anything. He only has about four or five thoughts in his mind:

1. Swords and fighting

2. Luffy and everything that encompasses luffy even making sure he doesn’t drown

3. Sleeping

4. Booze

5. Training

(This isn’t in any order because honestly booze is the first thing that should be on the list if it were in order, much like meat would be the first thing on Luffy’s)

New headcanon:

If there was a competition that was ‘are they lovers or homoerotic best friends’ prongsfoot would be the top name of what people want to know.

The second part of this is that all of Hogwarts thinks that James is in a polycule with Lily, Regulus, Sirius and Remus. But like in an odd way, the school mates think Jegulily are all together but lily and Regulus aren’t sexually with Sirius or Remus, but they share James with them. But people also think wolfstarbuck is very much a thing but that James isn’t with Remus individually but that they just share Sirius. There are a rare few that think everyone just shares James but isnt with any of the others (except wolfstar), they just know that James has a big heart so he could totally have a girlfriend and three boyfriends.

So I was on tiktok and saw someone put James in the ‘men I wouldn’t trust with my drink’ column and I want to scream at the blatant mischaracterization going on there. And before people say I’m basing this on being a marauders Stan and using headcanons, I am not, one thing about me is I do like basing my characters on what we know from canon and just adding on.

Was James a major bully in canon? Yes. He was, he and all his friends tormented Snape just cuz Snape was a slytherin and friends with lily. But also Snape gave back as good as he got. And no, I don’t categorize them pantsing him as SA, because they were not doing it for sexual gratification. Back then pantsing was a normal power play between a bully and a victim. It was wrong and terrible and they definitely should not have done it.

But James eventually matured. What people seem to forget that happened in canon was james immediately running and saving Snape from Remus when Sirius decided to lose his mind and send Snape to the shrieking shack on a full moon night when Remus was transforming into a werewolf. James may have hated Snape, but he was at least mature enough and honorable enough to save Snape from a terrible fate (whether it was death or becoming a werewolf). He knew it was wrong and saved him instead.

Also, do you really think lily who was adamant on not dating James when he was a bully just up and decided to marry him if he hadn’t changed? ‘But she only did it after Snape called her a mudblood’ no, that’s not an explanation. Her life and morals and choices do not revolve around a man and being emotional.

And before people come at the Jily ship saying ‘James asked her out over and over until she caved. He was one of those creepy men who can’t take no for an answer’, that isn’t what happened in canon at all. We don’t fully know how the whole story went.

Also, I want to remind people we are only seeing Snape’s side of the story and his memories, we don’t get the full picture of the Marauder’s Era. Snape is so stuck in his past that he’s canonically punishing Harry for stuff his dad did to him in the past, he’s gonna have to convince himself that what he’s doing is justified in his mind, so of course he’s gonna just show the bad stuff that happened to him. We don’t see the stuff he’s done, but we know he spent time with some bad people who were definitely doing terrible bullying of others in the name of blood supremacy, otherwise how exactly did he get into the Death Eaters and become someone the Dark Lord relied on.

Okay so I’m taking a second to bring up a canon thing in the Harry Potter era. Barty Crouch Jr. being the only other decent Defense teacher. Like yes he is a death eater and canonically deserves his ending (because unlike fanon barty in the marauders era, he was genuinely obsessed with the dark lord, he willingly helped Bellatrix and The Lestrange family torture the longbottoms, he never felt bad about it at all), he still was like ‘if I’m gonna be a teacher I’m gonna do things to make sure these students can survive in the real world’. He helped them learn to fight off the imperio curse (mostly because of what his dad did to him for years), even though death eaters and Voldemort would definitely resort to using that curse on people if need be. He also was like ‘gotta make sure they don’t put their wands somewhere where they could easily snap’. Like he was preparing students of all ages to be able to survive a war, despite knowing some would be on the opposite side to the lord he served (and no this wasn’t him defying his lord, Barty was too obsessed with Lord Voldemort and wanting him back. I’m thinking this is the kind of Ravenclaw he was, even if it wasn’t stated in canon he was Ravenclaw it just fits better because his dad was far too obsessed with being seen as a ‘good, light’ wizard he would never have been blindsided by Barty being a death eater if Barty was a slytherin. He was a Ravenclaw who needed to know any advantage he could get over in a duel/fight and he was also one who needed to share this information with people who needed to know, especially children facing dangers).

I just find it interesting that the two DADA teachers that actually were helping their students was:

So basically every fanfic I’ve written has been stalled because like I think to much and overthink the story and all that, but I’ve recently become obsessed with a ship that only had 42 fics on Ao3 and 3 fics on ff dot net (all of which are either one shots or abandoned). I’ve become desperate and I might actually just start writing fics for the ship until it gets picked up on in the fandom (even though the fanfic part of the fandom is kinda dead).

First things first, I do actually quite like the canon relationship going on in the show (it’s perfect), but I legit never can read canon relationship fics because like they get all the publicity in the general public and I just need non canon ships to get all the love.

I know that the popular headcanon is that Pandora was the seer and that’s where luna got her powers from (if you headcanon luna as a seer), but what if it was actually Xeno’s family with the seer blood but it’s only passed down by females (like how banshee’s are usually female). Like Xeno has the Sight (so he can see the creatures luna sees but can’t interact or interpret their meaning) and stuff.

Well i mean we do see him sleeping with a woman, I actually theorize that Jaskier is bisexual but the reason why he’s not at all attracted to Yennefer is because well Jaskier has in his genes something like the Witcher locket (that lets witchers know monsters are near and magic). Like he has a literal danger sensor ingrained in his dna (but he also totally has a danger attraction curse on him that’s why he always ends up in situations) and it’s giving off all the warning bells when around Yen and that’s why he loathes her with a passion.

An add on to this headcanon is that when he’s with Geralt the sensors are silent because Geralt is his safe space and that’s why he stays with Geralt. When the mountain break up happens, it’s agony for a long time since Jaskier had gotten used to the silence. (Though it would still go off anytime they encounter Yen since she is literally the complete opposite of Geralt in Jaskier’s situation since he loathes her, but it lessens a bit when they start coming to an understanding but since Yen is still dangerous the sensors go off, just not as loudly)

Talking to my bestie about how flamboyantly gay Jaskier is and she said "Yennefer made herself the most alluring woman ever using magic but Jaskier still talks about her like she's a terrifying monster with tits. Further proof that he is NOT attracted to actual women. He doesn't actually lay women he just sings pretty poetry at them and makes them swoon" and I have to agree He likes the idea of women from a romantic poet point of view but when it comes to reality the closest he wants to a woman is a man with long hair. Looking at you Geralt!
