I've seen Death Becomes Her and The Witches of Eastwick melded together, but I'd like to think Death Becomes Her and Reanimator take place in the same universe. Imagine Herbert West spending his entire life travelling around the world, learning forbidden science from the esoteric medical masters to perfect his immortality serum, risking sanity and creating multiple undead calamities, only for the perfect youth serum to have existed the entire time on the opposite coast. And what is it being used for? To keep celebrities and airheaded socialites alive past their prime. Contributing nothing to society, just living for pleasure. Immortals perfectly cognizant trying in vain to kill each other while Herbert tries to keep a single specimen mentally intact. It's the perfect irony.

what if there was a d-list gotham supervillain called the shamer or something and when batman shows up to stop him he says "it's over for you FATman" and batman easily arrests him but then later after he's done crimefighting for the night when he's alone in his bedroom bruce takes a moment to look at himself in the mirror.

When you think about it, fictional mad scientists who want to stitch together and reanimate corpses are the AI tech bros of their time and world. Like yes you've created a horrible imitation of a human being, an abomination against Nature and God, but like, what problem was this meant to solve. Everyone's angry at you now and your creation is probably going to replace you eventually and you didn't even have a problem in mind when you decided to do this. It was just an ego thing.

Be really cool if there was a 4X videogame where you were like, the lord of your own realm or dimension. Kind of like how some Planeswalkers can make their own planes in MtG. And you can expand your realm outwards and pick perks for it and sort of steer the "vibe" of the place like if you want to be a reclusive necromancer in a dark shadow realm or try to build a utopia and maybe you get to make a starting race that inhabits your realm and you manage their relationship with them or maybe your plane starts empty of inhabitants and different groups of people will come through and you can let them settle and they'll have devotion scores or something. Just tossing that out there for free.

I love breaking bad but the entire show is just
Walt: Jessie, good news, I found a dealer willing to sell our meth.
Walt five seconds later: Hooooooly fuck Jessie, this meth dealer guy? He's fucking crazy dude. I mean he's actually insane. We gotta kill this guy before he kills us Jessie. Holy shit, who could have possibly seen this coming—"

Does anyone else feel like the US is the PvP Darkzone of the world where you either strike it rich and extract successfully or much more likely die in a gruesome way that never would have happened anywhere else on the game map?

I love that one of the space marine legions is dedicated to their 2,000 pound, 8 feet tall metal-clad warriors being stealth operatives.
Space Marine prone crawling through bushes solid snake style: CLONK CLONK CLONK
Chaos Cultist #1: Did you hear that?
Chaos Cultist #2: No

I think its fascinating that Edgar Rice Burroughs was writing a sci fi story about a quirked-up white boy leading a faction of desert nomads who see him as the chosen one against a cabal of ancient and shadowy schemers who seek to rule the planet set in the backdrop of a strange Neo-feudal Monarchic society not only before Dune was written, but before T.E. Lawrence was even doing his shit in Arabia.

Jesse really should have picked a different state to escape to. Not to overgeneralize but Alaska really isn't the place to never have to interact with any more skinheads that are sympathetic to certain race-based ideologies after being a torture slave for a year.

All I'm saying is out of all horror movie franchises, how has Dr. Herbert "The entire point of my existence is to seek out corpses and put some fuckin' reanimation liquid into them" West like the only horror movie icon to have never once died and been resurrected. The narrative restraint to not make Dr. I Will Literally Never Stay Dead return from death is honestly impressive.

If you are able to write truly evil characters that honestly says something about you as a person. Like it might not express itself in your day to day life but if you're able to imagine that kind of vile stuff happening that means it's somewhere in your psyche. I really hope you get the help you need before you hurt someone.
(I'm new here an I doing batshit insane tumblr discourse right?)

Longrunning youtube review series are crazy, you'll go to click on a review of some movie or videogame you vaguely remember from your childhood and the first fifteen minutes of the video is the reviewer clutching the body of their dying friend (a dude wearing a cardboard box on his head with a name like smegmatron 3000) and genuinely having an emotional moment while another dude who clearly also started as a joke character 12 years ago who is now apparently the big bad of the series delivers a frankly pretty wicked monologue before making their grand escape. And then the reviewer swears vengeance before turning to the camera and in a startling change of mood starts the review.

Dear aliens, if you ever want to take Earth for yourselves, don't bother invading. Just beam us down blueprints to a machine that when built instantly kills all sentient life on the planet. You can make the function of the machine extremely clear, trust me. Half of humanity will immediately race to start building it, all the while saying things like "We know what it's going to do, but we have to be the ones to turn it on! The cat's already out of the bag! There's no stopping progress! Can you imagine if a rival country turns it on before us? We can use it responsibly! The shareholders love that we're on the cutting edge of this!"
