😶 Don’t look at me...yet you don’t see me anyway. You see through me, even when you looked at me - you didn’t see me, you didn’t want to. Now I am so sick and I have no self esteem left! I never had a big sense of self worth, but now I feel less than useless - how unwanted I feel...doctor who don’t want to treat me, people don’t want to hear me, or know my story unless a pretty picture is attached, if I were prettier would I be worth saving, worth healing? Maybe then the media would care about a girl with a rare disease who’s dying a slow painful death, unable to get help?! I feel ugly, I feel worthless, I am not worth saving because I’m not pretty enough, I’m not worth sharing because I’m too ugly to look at...Look at me not through me - don’t look, just hear me...don’t hear me just heal me!!! 👥👤👥WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.... 🌏We are a global community...We can all have different options and we can all think we have the right one - the truth is...two things can be right and true at the same time! 🌟For people like me who have a rare disease and chronic illnesses - this is not just a simple cold and it will kill me if I get it - however...if you are fit and healthy for the most part, it seems like you will most likely be okay! So, there is a middle ground - it is not an all or nothing problem or solution - people have to work to provide for their families, for themselves and for us! We all need food, we all benefit from the hard working people who deliver our goods, who pick up our trash, who keep our water, electricity, gas, sewerage going - we all benefit from the farmers, the truck drivers, the store clerks and grocery store workers, shelf packers - doctors and nurses, pharmacies, healthcare providers and services of all sorts!!! We need each other...we need to earn money and people need to work! People also need to stay safe and maybe work from home, or something else...people are not heartless just because they want to work and have to work - people aren’t babies or panic tin foil hat wearing nuts just because they are unwell and don’t want to die and know that they have underlying heath issues! So you see, we are all in this together - our needs are not exactly the same, but are similar...try to be understanding and supportive, try to be compassionate and caring, try helping not hurting, to to listen and try to be patient...we need each other - and remember to say - Thank you! - to those who are risking their lives or their health - each and every single day that they provide for us! Waiting room, Waiting for you... Another appointment with the doctor, another test, more time passes with each and every day. I've been waiting, waiting, and waiting for action to be taken as words upon words I can hear no more. But more talking is what I got, excuses, glances, moments of silent stares from the corners of the eyes... Worried wrinkles upon a crinkled straight poker face, worry for my life...how much more can she take?! The question is but a thought amongst many, including money, lust, greed, and denial of responsibility... I've done all I can do. That final affirmation to ease the guilt of many, the doctors guilt perhaps the most, to cover the legal obligations of the medical board, the session ends with advise... I think you should see a psychologist, you're under a lot of stress. My insides are screaming in silent thought as I think...of course I am stressed! I'm dying a slow painful death, and all I get is waiting, appointments, paper work, empty words, so it looks as though you're all trying, meanwhile I'm dying and all I want is to live! I say nothing, but nod my head in agreement and take a moment to gather my papers with printed medications for yet another week. Time is passing, and I am still waiting, and all I want is for someone's training to save me, help me, heal me or at least try! Not to turn me away due to my lack of money and their lack of care, because their time is expensive, worthy, resentful, stressed, tired, frustrated, opinionated, angry, devalued, entitled, why should we care? We worked hard! It's not our problem, it's not like we're the cause! People die and that's just life, it's not my fault... The speech that runs through the surgeons minds as they pass patients waiting, sitting, dying, waiting their turns to see them, their doctors, their specialists, their healer, their killer, their doom, their fate. Waiting is the hardest part! How Are You...?! It’s honestly a fairly easy question, but our answers are not really easy to give and be a hundred percent honest. We all know that when we’re asked that question, it’s usually because it’s a typical thing to say or almost state, rather than ask, let alone genuinely asking and genuinely wanting a real or honest response. Most of us usually don’t even think about the question before answering with something along the lines of...Yeah, good thanks, how about you?! Or maybe...Yeah, okay I guess, you?! And we mostly get another generic response to us repeating the same question. I think most people, most of the time aren’t being dishonest, but at the same time we aren’t exactly being honest either, and not because we don’t want to be honest, but because we know that everyone has their own problems and we don’t want to burden others with our problems. FREE - QUICK - EASY - SHARE?! YES - NO -MAYBE? Sharing is completely free, it is very easy, and it’s super quick...I would love some feedback on what you think, would you help, and if not why not, and what I can do to help or is there some advice you’d give? All comments and suggestions are very much appreciated, and if you could, please share! I completely understand that others have a lot on their plate, people everywhere have some kind of struggle or battle or stress in their lives, and I also understand that people don’t have the money to donate, nor can they help everyone in the world... But, if you see a post like mine, what stops you from sharing? I would love to get some feedback and improve on whatever it is that I am missing or lacking. I also want people to know that honestly, sharing is very helpful - as you don’t know on who’s feed you’ll end up on - and the more people share the higher the chances of me finding a specialist or someone who knows someone else in the world of health and healing or rare diseases...
