I'm not that anon, but I'm confused. Is there some taboo in asking what manufacturer an artist uses? Cause obviously the merch wouldn't exist at all without your guys' designs and that's not to be ignored, but the manufacturer helps by bringing the design into reality for you and if someone really likes the quality of the product is it that weird of them to ask who made it? Genuine question here, I just feel like I'm missing something.

I would not say it's weird but I also personally don't think it's right to ask a stranger to share that kind of information, I try to help how I can but to the level that I am comfortable with, hence why I directed them to Alibaba, (what I did mind was the implication it is the company's work not my own, I may have reacted the way I did because I've gotten comments before, accusing me of taking credit for the manufacturer's work when it is my OWN design.)

I think it's up to the artist whether to share the manufacturer or not, many artists prefer not to, especially because it has been known that certain manufacturers qualities drop once word gets out about using them. Also experiences with suppliers are very different from one person to another and some artists don't want that responsibility that if I recommend someone and it doesn't turn out as you expect.

I think artists / small businesses are not obligated to share that if they don't want to.

I am sorry I am not comfortable sharing that, I also don't really like how this implies it's the company's work and not mine.. I am the designer of all my merch. But if you are looking for a supplier, you can find plenty on Alibaba.

Hi! Do you plan on making other merch for other Fandoms? Just curious! :D

I do have merch for other fandoms on my shop! Have some Sailor Moon, HxH and JJK pins and stickers~ It's not likely I will be making plushies for other fandoms soon though.

I definitely want to explore others as well (particularly Final Fantasy VII) but I also feel I currently want to focus more on original work than fanart for a while 😊
