Hoo boy, been a while.
Reason? Been working full time in animation for a year now, and most of my work has been on my webcomic Flamefoxes (flamefoxes.uk) but in January, I bought a Surface Pro and it’s let me draw for myself more, albeit not in the style I’ve been comfortable with for the past ten years. Less geometric, more sketchy.
However, I have a new radio show called Virtua Love Affair, where I play vaporwave, chiptune, mallsoft and vgm for two hours. The next show is tomorrow, so ready your breakfasts and eat hearty: https://www.reformradio.co.uk/play/Virtua_Love_Affair_21st_April_2019/ELXtq5JqsYgjiycjx

And more ace news, I got into the UK’s best comic festival Thought Bubble for the second year running! I’ll be selling Flamefoxes volumes 1 and 2, plus the Origins ashcan, prints and a mystery comic I won’t be putting online. You can get tickets here: https://www.thoughtbubblefestival.com/tickets

Hopefully, I’ll keep this website going more regularly this year (or, indeed, upgrade it to something better than a Tumblr template). Keep being ace, you lot

The commission window is open! The door to visual treats is ajar! Somebody forgot to close the gate to the field of portraits and landscapes!
Yes, for the foreseeable future, I am offering digital commissions (hi-res print and web versions) based on any real or imaginary person/android/demon and vista (urban or rural, I’m not fussy). E-mail [email protected] with your request and I’ll get back to you asap (or go to my Etsy store and pay more because of their surcharge).
The perfect gift for not-Christmas!

This one isn’t going on sale as a t-shirt (just yet, at least), as it’s not something I could call a bootleg. Rather, it’s my interpretation of the Arcee G1 toy that never was in honour of International Women’s Day. Apparently, Hasbro really lived up to the Bro part of their name by not releasing an Arcee toy when Transformers: the Movie hit in 1986, despite her being a major cast member. She continued to be a main character in season 3 of the cartoon, and still no toy. There were prototypes but if you look at them, it’s hard to imagine anybody at Hasbro putting much effort in.
When season 4 (the 3-part Headmasters storyline) rolled around, she became a Headmaster and still received no toy, although there were at least tentative plans to base her toy on Chromedome, just with a slight retooling and new paint job. Of course, it never happened.
So instead of adding to my series of Acid Bot bootleg designs, I tried to create a faithful rendition of how that season 4 toy would have looked. Could have been good, Hasbro. Could have been good.

Two more Acid Bots (Transformer toy design bootlegs). Based on the Seeker model (Starscream/Skywarp/Thundercracker) and Springer, modified to be a little crazier in their colour choices.
Both are available as t-shirts, phone cases, mugs and all that stuff at TeePublic via this link: https://www.teepublic.com/user/jamwah/albums/13029-acid-bot-bootlegs

Hello! I’ve had a *relatively* quiet 2018 so far, so I’m putting this out as a reminder that I’m available on a freelance basis to illustrate the hell out of your project. Want my credentials? I’ve worked on album covers, posters and t-shirts for well-known bands like Public Service Broadcasting, The Staves and Brendan Benson, storyboards for various ad agencies, web promo for Cartoon Network and the Bundesliga, trading cards featuring Adventure Time and Archer, in addition to having been published by 2000AD and Image Comics as a colourist, and Dark Horse as a writer/artist.
Somehow, I find time to create a webcomic, a radio show and a graphic novel.
Oh, and I have rigging experience in Toon Boom Harmony.
So basically, what I’m saying is that I’m adaptable, user friendly and I make great stuff for you. Yes, YOU.

New t-shirt design! It’s only $14 at TeePublic for an introductory period (can’t remember how long, sorry), so now’s your best bet for purchasing if you’re gonna. It’s probably the best design I’ve got on my store right now. Just works as a shirt.
Now, clearly this is HEAVILY inspired by Transformers, and one in particular. But I made some changes, made up some stuff, colour swapped so hopefully it falls under fair use. I see tons of people making bootleg He-Man/Skeletor/GI Joe toys, so I figure a bootleg Transformers t-shirt is okay. Right? Hhhh.

I have a new t-shirt at TeePublic! It’s mocking the Daily Mail’s ridiculous recent article that makes millennials sound like alien creatures and calls them ‘generation snowflake’ (which is a very grown-up thing for a national newspaper to do, isn’t it?).

Did a Kylo Ren. It’s not a likeness, although Adam Driver is pretty caricaturable. More how I’d draw him in a Star Wars comic.
