I've started writing these open letters as characters I admire. It started as a way to just keep writing something but I had so much fun writing this first one and it helped me work out some strong emotions over the past year that I'll keep doing them. It's ultimately therapy for me. I'm calling them Superhero Open Letters or SOLs for short. They're basically from the perspective of a superhero with how they'd deal with an existential crisis, depression, grief or just everyday life. The first one is from Clark Kent to Superman dealing with depression. Nobody ever really talks about the fact that Clark is a damn good writer so I feel it'd be only natural that he'd write to work out his emotions.
