Keeping Up With the Waynes (pronounced waynesss)

A while back, the batfamily shot the pilot of what would be their reality tv show called “Keeping Up With the Waynes” (pronounced Waynesss). The show was scrapped pretty early on after the family realized how time consuming filming is. However, it wasn’t fast enough for the crew not to finish filming and editing the pilot.

For some time, the pilot was considered lost media. Until now, because someone leaked it online.

The episode began following a pretty normal day for the family and ended with all of them at a gala. Duke’s first gala as well as the first gala in ages where all of Bruce’s adopted/foster kids and Steph would be present.

The pilot opened with a short introduction video for each of the main characters and their names written at the bottom of the screen. In addition, it used confessional in between scenes to add more information or funny commentary. The most famous one being when the staff asked Steph what her relationship with the family was and she briefly explained she’s Tim's ex and now she’s just kinda there.

Of course, the episode blew up. Predictable considering it’s the Wayne’s and how funny it is. Gothamite everywhere demanded the series be picked up, but that will never happen.

Oh and the title? It comes from the gala where at some point drunk Bruce said “Waynesss” instead of “Wayne”.

it's so so sick how every single recurring comedic gag about erza can be traced back to hopelessly tragic roots. oh erza is obsessed with cake? yeah that's because she was probably underfed and malnourished as a child slave and didn't know the concept of eating for pleasure. oh erza hoards hundreds of sets of armour and lugs around a comically large trolley of her belongings everywhere she goes? yeah she didn't own anything but the tattered rags they gave the slaves in the tower of heaven. oh erza is extremely socially awkward and is often inappropriate without realizing it? yeah that's because her only point of contact as a child were other kids going through the same horrific things as her and even when she got out the trauma and guilt of what happened prevented her from fully re-integrating into society. we should all just kill ourselves
