Wayne Family Personas!!! (PART 2)

Damian Wayne:

Adorable and shy animal lover that sticks by his older siblings. If anyone has ever seen Damian Wayne at a gala, it’s often by his siblings’ sides, hiding behind their coattails or beneath their arms. Despite many attempts, no one has succeeded in disallowing Damian to bring animals into galas. Most notably, one time, Damian brought in a huge snake that scared some patrons to death. However, there is an… Outlier. Damian Wayne is reported to be a snarky and sly little brat when teamed up with Cass, Duke, and Tim, usually with the goal of irritating the fuck out of some socialite or Roman Sionis.

Damian is appalled by the personas that Bruce and Dick put on most of the time, and finds great pleasure in threatening people with a cat in his arms as Tim easily picks up from the threat with his sharp tongue.

He also likes to gaslight people that all the cats he brings to the galas are actually one in the same. They're all named 'Alfred' and no one dares to correct him. Cullen: "And... No one asks you where you got all the cats from...?" Damian: "Of course not. My status strikes fear into those below me, they wouldn't dare question me." Cullen: "I see."

Duke Thomas:

Bland, unassuming, middle class boy that doesn't know what to do with himself. Duke goes the 'invisible boy' route and plays the boring normal kid that got adopted by Bruce out of either pity or convenience. Duke is all too happy to use his 'invisible boy' persona to listen into conversations for Tim or ditching galas with Damian, and sometimes, when he's extra bored and either Lex Luthor or Vicki Vale or some idiot businessman or whatnot is at the gala, never let it be said that Duke doesn't know how to cause chaos and freak out rich people at the same time, eat the rich baby~

Duke has most definitely spiked the alcohol. No for real, he mixes alcohol with more alcohol just to laugh when rich people's composures break.

Duke doesn't often stick by Bruce, Dick, or Jason during galas. He prefers the chaos of blackmailing rich people with Tim, Cass, and occasionally Damian.

Izzy: "Wait, wait. What do you mean you managed to expose a rich person for moving and doing drugs??"

Duke: "How was I supposed to know that he avoided drinking more than one drink cause he knew he was a nasty talker??"

Izzy: "And you... Spiked his drink with what??"

Duke: "Nothing! Just vodka, and spirit, and some gin, and.... This isn't looking good for me is it?"

Izzy: "I still love you for it."

Harper Row:

Is she a family friend? Or a personal bodyguard? Harper doesn't often go to Wayne galas, especially since she actually isn't adopted legally by Bruce. But she can't say no when Dick begs for assistance covering for him when the guy is too tired to attend the galas. While gala people try to insult her appearance and obvious Bowery accent, she single handedly shows how much she doesn't give a fuck with a raised brow and laughter. They may try to hate on Harper, but she abuses and takes advantage of her statue as an honorary Wayne, it doesn't go well.

Harper also makes use of this persona of hers to find out who she should hate and who she should at least respect a little bit. She reports this to Dick.

She and Jason 100% gossip on the idiots at the galas, and teases the other Wayne family members and their personas.

Harper: "If I asked nicely, could I get some jewellery from Imens?"

Selina: "Why him?"

Harper: "Called me and Jayce sewer rats, I'd like to sell off his stuff and watch him weep."

Selina: "... Yeah, sure."

Mia Mizoguchi:

Snobby Gotham Academy brat who is too smart for her own good. Mia doesn't often go to galas, because she doesn't want to dabble in all the politics and subtleties of Gotham's high society. But she does occasionally do Tim some favours at galas, acting the cute but completely spoiled child with Damian in order to get information out of people. Mia's persona is that kid who takes pictures in the bathroom and purchases expensive shit to bring to school just to brag, and accuses any one scholarship kid for stealing them when they go missing.

Maps sometimes brings her friends to galas just to promote the persona she has, and learnt a LOT of slang in the span of two hours.

Maps has definitely joined DIck before on his little Instagram model bullshit, probably obsessively going through filters for 30 whole minutes while Dick talks to people.

Duke: "Why are you so committed to this persona?"

Maps: "I thought you of all people would appreciate the art of deception."

Duke: "... Yeah you're right I dig it."

So I'm sure you've noticed a bit (a lot of) mentions of Tim, and that's because I've kind of mentally split the family in terms of the goofy, not so serious personas (Bruce, Dick, Jason, Harper, Damian), and the High Society tea and biscuits (Tim, Cass, Duke, Mia)

Basically, Bruce's team does it for appearances, and Tim's side does it to gather information and to serve a purpose other than appearing 'normal'. He's at the head of this 'operation', which is why I defaulted to mentioning Tim.

Some of you might start stabbing me for not mentioning Steph, but I see her as a more separate persona and figure unaffiliated with Bruce's brood other than being Tim's ex and his go-to date before 'Conner Luthor'

Wayne Family Persona TIME (Pt 1)

Brucie Wayne thinks he did it best? Nuh uh, his kids are a multitude of little shits who like to one up their father.

Richie Gray:

Hot boy supreme, instagram model, verified on all platforms, spoiled little brat. Dick’s persona revolves around posting shirtless pictures of himself on social media and posting about his lifestyle as an Olympic gymnast and 4-time champion medallist, social media heartbreaker and sexyman of Gotham type shii. He posts GRWM’s while gossiping and complaining while posting about brand deals and promoting products online.

Trust me, he’s absolutely been so absolutely flustered and embarrassed posting all those pictures cause man actually does not know what to do with himself. Golden retriever soft boy he is,,,

He makes friends with other models and influencers, (if anyone imagines Young Justice the show instead of the comics, then Garfield Logan) and would later whine about them to Wally, Donna, and Roy.

Dick: “Why do these wannabe makeup influencers think that promoting faulty product is fine as long as they apologise for when they inevitably get caught? Why??”

Wally: “Money?”

Roy: “Attention.”

Dick: “WhYYYY—“

Jayce Todd-Wayne:

Charity boy from crime alley who’s always trying to help. Jason pre-death went with his persona, genuinely putting money into improving the things that genuinely needed to be improved, like the orphanages and foster care system as well as helping work to eliminate as much homelessness as possible by reinforcing and providing camps and shelters that provide the help they need.

Post Ethiopia I imagine Jason doesn’t go to any galas or anything anymore, content with making change as Red Hood and not wanting to feel his anger flare at interacting with privileged and ungrateful millionaires.

No one in Crime Alley believed that Jayce was his actual personality, growing up on the streets in the Narrows or Crime Alley doesn’t exactly foster naïveté like that, but they understand the necessity and appreciate his help.

Jason, to Blue Hood: “Yeah. These are the good places, they can’t always provide shelter, but they’re always up to date on space, food content, all that stuff.”

Tyler: “Ooh, I heard that Jayce Wayne was the one who made that system.”

Jason: “Ug-ac— Ack- Yeah kid.”

Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne:

Business mogul and the genius heir of Wayne Enterprises as its current majority shareholder. Tim went for the fear route. His family choose to stick to the ditzy, air headed natures, Tim went with a cruel ruthlessness that can freeze over hell. Strategic, business savvy, and knows everything about everyone—socialites fear and respect him, and the people appreciate his cold and brutal, but honest and fair method of running the Neon Knights.

Tim in actuality, being a more laidback and sarcastic person, and as Cardinal, the sly, chaotic little brat who makes friends with villains and rogues for fun will never be mistaken for cold hearted Timothy Drake-Wayne.

He’s a messy little shit with a messy relationship history, the media is not surprised when he publicly dates Conner Luthor, the heir of another ruthless businessman. They fear what kind of order these two will create.

Tim: “Bern, Kon, look: ‘Breaking News: Conner Luthor caught in a scandalous kiss with mysterious blonde?’ How do you think we should twist this story, hm?”

Bernard: “Ooh- ooh! You can go to the location and take a picture with you both in that exact position and pose as a selfie, and use that selfie as a claim that the author doctored the picture.”

Kon: “That’ll be fun.”

Cassandra Wayne:

Stuck up rich kid, accomplished Dancer, protective sister. People believe that she and Tim are twins, and therefore, Cass matches his cold energy with an… ‘Entitled sister’ energy. It’s not that hard for her to fake, people at galas were disingenuous and fake, all she needs to do is silently stick her nose up at them and people made their own conclusions. She’s Tim’s other half, and together they would scare the socialites back to their corners.

Although she may be a ‘stuck up brat who mooches off of her little brother’s work, she’s a respected dancer and her media presence doesn’t affect the views on her performances. (Socialite gossip sticks to socialite gossip)

People also have learned never to piss off Cassandra Wayne, especially in the form of insulting or harassing her brothers. You will regret it.

Xanthe: “You punched a politician?”

Cass: “Insulted Tim. I did warn him.”

Xanthe: “How is your persona both so inconvenient and convenient at the same time?”

Cass: *shrug*

I still don’t know if I should go with Cardinal or Wyvern, but for now, I think for the ‘denouncing of mantles’ immediate aftermath, I’ll be going with Cardinal, as even in canon, Tim is struggling with his identity. He’s still Robin yo TOT,,, but yeah! It’s a process for Tim and his team to accept and embrace this change, so while the logos are gone, they still have the mindset within that environment.

Core 4 adopted red to match energy, passion, and love of each other. And black for the idea of being outcasts, a blot on the page.

Young Justice AU where the team are made up of outcssts and sidekicks to heroes who are essentially outsiders to their own mentor heroes even.

So I'm ignoring canon here and just making the mentors worse or at least making the kids actually outcasts in the social sense.

Robin (Tim) --> Originally Cardinal, though I wanted to give him Wyvern to completely denounce the Bats

Superboy (Kon) --> Nova, and if the boy scout gets his shit together, he'd go by Supernova

Wonder Girl (Cassie) --> Fury in general, but has taken on Alecto, Tisiphone, and Megaera before

Arrowette --> Trickshot. I like to think that Cissie is the kind of performance archer first and foremost.

Impulse --> So, hear me out: Inertia. I KNOW- But I think the name fits him well and he IS rebelling rn...

Secret and Empress maintain.

I'd love to have others on the team eventually too, from Titans and YJ 2019

Yuuei School of Outcasts (Part 12)

Toya smokes, and Jin is a recovering addict with a lollipop. I think it's funny.

Himiko grew up as a child celebrity, which is a way I want to interpret her growing up. She's obsessed with grimsical fantasy, and hops between dressing alternatively and more classy thanks to her stealing Momo's outfits. Jin is one of those old school singers who went rock bottom and became an addict, joined a band, got sober, and is now living the best life he can.

Himiko Toga

Himiko is currently adopted by Sekijiro (Vlad King), she's the life of class 3-B and has a hoard of plushies and sweets. Himiko didn't really connect all too well with her classmates though, and made friends with her juniors, where she became a more prominent figure to the second years and lingered.

Jin Bubaigawara

Jin and Toya have beef, affectionately. Toya doesn't smoke around Jin, but the awareness that he does sparks funny interactions between them. Particularly when Toya would jokingly 'light' Jin's lollipop stick and stalk away cackling. Jin has 3 cats and 3 dogs and doesn't regret it in the slightest.
