Can we please talk about Oliver?

The fact that not only does he agree that Buck is ADHD, he also agrees that (and had the idea of doing this season) Buck is bi.

He never shut down those 2 HCs, he listened to every word of analysis about Bucks ADHD and agreed without getting weird about it like some people. He was the one to want bi!Buck this season before he was told it was happening because he had seen all of the evidence over the years, and wasn't weird about it like some people.

He is extremely open to possibilities, and he is a very understanding man. And I love him for it.

He deserves happiness.

as a ao3 writer and reader who only slightly misses having the comment function that wattpad provided—I love love love comments

people always talk about leaving comments on ao3 like it's a nice thing to do, or the best way to encourage writers to keep writing, or overall like it's how you Do Your Part in fandom

and yeah, all those things are true, but having spent the past few months leaving enthusiastic comments on as many things as i can, i have a different perspective

you should leave comments on fics because it's fun

taking the time to stop and focus on what i like about a story has made me way more aware of what's going on in stories and what i like about them. there's bit more actual comprehension and appreciation and not just beaming content into my eyes to fill time

i like noticing cool little things in fics, or riffing on funny events. i've never been very good at speculating or picking apart characters, but sometimes something clicks and it rocks.

and of course it's pretty nice when you get a response and it's clear you've made another person happy

so yeah, you should leave comments for your own sake, too. it makes reading better!

i have an extremely stupid headcanon that every time max went to beat up pete, he asked where his insulin pump was. solely because one time max hit it by accident and pete started crying about how if it broke, he couldn't afford to replace it. so max asked how much it cost for one of those things anyway, pete could definitely afford it since he was so rich. then pete told him and max said "five fucking thousand dollars??? dude i'll just punch you somewhere else. jesus christ."

I think Ted ships are only good when they're unrequited. CharTed canon dynamic, where they sleep together but Charlotte's not as in it as he is, and has no intentions of leaving her husband just because Ted caught feelings. BillTed where Ted is clearly a third-choice rebound, Bill takes him on dates because he has no one else to go with and is annoyed the whole time. PaulTed where Ted's crushing hard and Paul tries to leave the room whenever Ted starts speaking to him. etc etc, I think that's funny, I think the best Ted shipping dynamic is he wants everyone and nobody is interested.

something i noticed,

israel can kill innocent Palestinians, they can bomb their homes, destroy their cities, tear apart their families, cut off their food and water, and dehumanize them all they want,

but theres somethings they cannot destroy:

they cannot destroy the solidarity that Palestinians and non-Palestinian activists have together

they cannot destroy the hope and determination we all have to fight and make this genocide end

they can NEVER destroy the compassion and love that our palestinian siblings have for eachother

i have seen hospitals being bombed, yet the doctors refuse to leave their patients to die

i have seen people being arrested and harassed online, yet activists refuse to be silent about this genocide

i have seen children, who are younger than me, fight for kids their age who cannot fight for themselves

i have seen millions of people, who are not from palestine, rally in support to end this genocide

and that is something beautiful we shall NEVER be silent until the people of palestine are able to live in peace without the fear of dying 🇵🇸🍉FREE PALESTINE!🍉🇵🇸
