QUANTIC KIDS HEADCANONS PART ONE 

Imagined by someone who can’t remember shit about canon miraculous

Assumes Bri/Bridgette exists as her own character with May/Marionette being her younger cousin by 4 years

Based on the original art for The Miraculous PV and The Quantic Kids and related fanart and fanfics 

THE QUANTIC KIDS

The Quantic Kids (Bri, Felix, Alan, Claude, Allegra) go to a performing arts school, which specialises in music, drama, fashion, and art. Bri n Alan have scholarships (Bri for ballet, Alan for classical music), whilst Felix, Allegra n Claude come from rich families. 

Alan is a talented composer. He plays the piano, cello (his favourite), double bass, trombone, and saxophone. Claude also plays the saxophone, Allegra plays the flute n Felix plays both the piano n violin. They stay after school to compose n play together. Bri sings. Felix teaches May how to play the piano. 

Felix, Bri, and May call themselves ‘The Three Musketeers’. Adrien is the fourth.

Bri n Alan are childhood friends. Alan is one of Nino’s many cousins, but Nino is his favourite. May and Nino meet through their older cousins n the four see each other as a close chosen family. 

Felix’s aunt is kind to Bri and May when Felix sneaks them into the house after school n for important events, but his uncle doesn’t know Bri and Felix are a thing.

At some point, Claude (very chaotically) teaches Felix how to ride a motorcycle, and it becomes an inside joke between the quantic kids that no one ever explains to poor Adrien. 

FELIX CULPA

Other Names: Chat Noir, Kitty/Kitten, Fe 

Cat Miraculous Holder 

LGBT+??? — ace-spec and aro-spec coded 

Father is physically n emotionally abusive n neglectful

Mother is passive n watches the abuse happen

Is thrown around private boarding schools n nannies, until he’s fourteen, and sent to Paris to live with his Mom’s sister n her family

Bri and May are the first people he opens up to about his home life n they take him in as their own

Is addicted to the Dupain-Cheng’s coffee n sweet treats

May finds out he’s Chat Noir before The Quantic Kids do 

Is extremely protective over May (sees her as his lil sis)

Goes to The Royal Academy of Music in London 

Proposes to Bri the summer they graduate (she says yes, duh) 

Is intelligent, but wants to peruse music, not academics or fashion 

Speaks n understands multiple languages 

Used destruction(???) on peacock miraculous after she shot Bri with a magic arrow (didn’t know it was his aunt, but she was aiming for him) 

After Bri fell into a coma, he threw the ring across a lake in the Agreste Garden (which is how Adrien finds it) 

Father dies shortly after the accident w his aunt n Bri, so he goes back to London to help/support his Mom 

Makes May promise to look out for n to protect Adrien

BRIDGETTE CHENG

Other Names: Bri, LadyLuck

LGBT+??? — just an ally 

Ladybug Miraculous Holder 

Parents die in a car accident when she’s six years old, so she moves to Paris, and is adopted by May’s parents

Felix made her a blazer that’s passed down to Marionette (B.C is sewn inside)

Got accepted into Juilliard’s ballet program with Allegra 

Is a Dance Captain in competitive dance 

Specialises in ballet, but also does lyrical n freestyle, has been dancing since she could walk, has great balance, is a very graceful person 

Is popular at NAPA (she and Felix are a power couple, much to the dismay of Felix)

MARIONETTE DUPAIN-CHENG

Other Names: May, Mayday, Little/Lil Red (Felix only), Clutzaroono (Bri only) 

LGBT+??? — never thought about it 

Still clumsy but less of a goof 

Has a brain, is strategic, has good general knowledge, computer/tech smart, helps the gang with tactics, planning etc n does work behind the scenes 

Looks up to Felix, brother-sister relationship, they help each other with designs, Felix is her fashion mentor, sometimes Felix comes to her before Bri about his problems, wouldn’t want anyone else dating her cousin

Takes Bri’s lucky earrings after she falls into the coma 

CLAUDE HAPRELE

Other Names: Kid Mime 

LGBT+??? — bisexual 

Has a Shakespearean-prop-inspired sword, and can mime anything into existence

Buys the blue jay miraculous in Oregon when he’s eight years old

Child actor

Spent a lot of his childhood travelling

Parents are in the public eye, which ultimately causes problems in their marriage n  they divorce. Struggling with the divorce, Claude buys an apartment when things at home get too much as he feels like a burden. However, when the gang find out, they make the apartment into a home n it becomes their hideout/base/safe-space. Claude doesn’t have the heart to sell it after they go their separate ways. May still has the keys and visits.

Has ADHD n worries his friends will get tired of him n kick him out of the group (they don’t, they adore him so much) 

Ends up travelling the world with bf Alan 

ALAN LAHIFFE

Other Names: Gavroche (or mercury?) 

LGBT+??? — gay, asexual 

Beetle Miraculous holder 

Family are homophobic n don’t accept him, ends up going no contact 

Crushing on Claude (everyone has bets on when they will get together, crushing is mutual, they become the cutest couple in the summer after graduation) 

ALLEGRA

Other Names: Melodie 

LGBT+??? — never thought about it 

The snowy owl miraculous is Allegra’s family heirloom

Her weapon is a flute n one of her flute’s powers is controlling animals and/or senti-monsters (I can’t remember how they work but in this au, they usually fight senti-monsters instead of akumatised people)

Canon Demetri is Horrible

I’ve been rewatching Cobra Kai, and I had no idea how unlikeable Demetri is as a character. I’m so glad the fandom rewrote him. I CANNOT STAND the actual Demetri. I want Dem! 😡 /hj

no you have to contribute to your fandom if you don't want it to die. most fandoms die because people say 'it's so sad watching the fandom die when the hype dies' without doing anything about it. I'm not saying you have to push out 100k word slow-burn fic, I'm not saying you have to make fan art or gif sets or edits or anything. I'm just saying we as a community should contribute to our fandom if we don't want it to die, and by contributing, I'm talking about giving kudos, commenting on your favorite fics, reblogging your favorite art and just talking about your favorite characters. that's enough to keep a fandom alive. that's the most effective way to keep a fandom alive in my humble opinion.

fandoms die because people stop talking about it, fandoms die because people stop engaging with fan content once the hype is gone. what I'm saying is, mainstream media's hype may be gone, but our fandom can stay alive and thriving if us as a community don't let it die.

I grew up hating my auburn hair. All I wanted was to have normal brown hair. I didn’t like being called ginger and I thought my hair colour was ugly.

Saying that, I don’t care when red-heads become, well, not red heads. Representation matters for everyone, and we got that years ago. It’s others kids’ turns to get rep, and I think that’s a good thing.

This pic is one of the biggest examples of hypocrisy on the Internet. For none of these characters being a ginger was important, some of them still had red hair despite different skin colour, and most importantly the same people who use it ignore Matt Murdock, Scott Lang, etc. They never complain about it when a character is still white but not ginger like Matt, Scott or Gordon, and many others. Let's run through some of these characters, Gordon wasn't ginger in any live action adaptation. He barely was in animation, and no one complained. Artemis was such a minor character in WW movie that no one would figure out it's her without checking the cast list. Electro is in his electric form for most of the movie, so who cares about his hair or skin colour? Honestly, who cared or knew about Firefist and Cecil? CW Wally was based on his New 52 variant, who's black, so that is invalid. Miss Martian is not really ginger. That's not her real form, just a humanoid disguise to make people more comfortable around her. The same goes for her live action appearance. April wasn't ginger in 2014 live action movie, and no one complained, not to mention in her original design that she didn't have red hair either. Batgirl, Starfire, Cyclone, Daphne, and Ariel still had red hair, not to mention Triss hair was red after season 1. If these people really cared about "gingercide" then they would complain about Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Gary Oldman and JK Simmons as Gordon, Megan Fox as April, etc. But they don't. Not to mention, there are still red head characters, true, but there aren't many of them, but still. In live action, it's mostly because it's not very common hair colour.

was super curious to see how the high school fight played out, bc i was wondering how ppl could still demonize miguel when it comes to his relationship with robby after that & like, i was right, it makes no fucking sense. like i'm not blaming robby, but miguel literally stopped & said he was sorry, but some ppl still act like he's evil & like the silly antagonistic bs they had regarding sam & the cobra kai vs miyagi do rivarly is in any way comparable to getting thrown over a fucking railing & having your life on the line.

The Silence (MCU): the writing could be better, but the ideas were good, I get why ppl really liked it because it uses poplar tropes (IronDad SpiderSon, Peter getting kidnapped, Peter bonding with the other avengers etc) 

Spiders, Widows, and Ronins (MCU): inspired by a passion project of mine, so I’m glad ppl like it, it’s a shame I lost interest because the world/AU has potential 

Out (MCU): I don’t know why, but I really like this one

The Voices in Our Heads (CK): The ending was rushed and could’ve been better, but it deserves to be up here  

It Hurts (SWR): another author favourite, I just love Ezra whump fics 

All I Wanted Was A Goodbye (MCU): this one hurts

I Know I Need To Stay Awake But I Don’t Know If I Can For Much Longer (SWR): another author favourite of hurting Ezra, I’m so glad I added more chapters 

I Need Someone To Hold Me Close (Can You?) (MCU): I fucking love IronMan SpiderSon, what an AU, I need to continue it in 2025
