Hi there, the name's Booka and I like writing! I'm 19 years old, use they/them pronouns, and I'm a November scorpio in my second year of college.

I will be working on a series where Dabi, or more appropriately, Touya Todoroki, gets hit by a quirk that turns him into a cat. And when what should be a gorgeous, dark russian blue cat, but actually looks like a burnt piece of paper, appears on your doorstep and practically bullies it's way into your apartment, who are you to say no? Dabi/Reader.

The barkeep studied her after his eyes flickered towards some other patrons. “Have you other family you can stay with? It’s not the norm around these parts for young women to linger on their own.”

“My cousin should be in town from Machecoul tomorrow morning. If Grandfather doesn’t show up this evening, I shall leave to join my family there.” The lie came effortlessly. Not the location but that she had people expecting her.

“Tis a shame that you would leave us so soon, Miss Briel.”

Sabriel couldn’t resist a grimace before she steeled her expression into that befitting the naïveté young woman. She turned towards the youth who sat with a couple of his friends, smiling pleasantly. She understood his attraction, for she physically seemed around his age…give or take a year…but nothing about him was appealing to her.

“Rather rude to listen in on others’ conversations, sir.” She retorted before looking to other patrons she had befriended during her stay. “I promised everyone more songs, no? What instrument has anyone brought tonight?”

An older man, Jon if she remembered correctly, lifted his fiddle. “Just tuned her, miss.”

“Wonderful.” Sabriel moved past the group of young men, ensuring she was outside of arm space, before taking a place at the hearth. She ignored the cold stare from the youth who spoke earlier, clearly disliking that she had easily disengaged from him, and began to sing while Jon played.

This is a thing that happens when the heroes are just about to get their behinds handed over to them. The bad guys are winning, everyone is exhausted, they're out of resources and ideas...

All hope seems lost! 🥺

But then... One character does one tiny little thing, be it say some inspirational words, pull out some forbidden technique, or decides to try one last desperate move, and that somehow completely changes the entire course of the fight and paves the way to victory right at the very last second.

(They do that so much in Yu-Gi-Oh!)

me trying to figure out how i'm gonna get loretta and stella verses in the modern era........ my brain hurts so bad.

okay so dracula's return in 1999 was predicted and that prediction was known about in portrait's era, i think?? so does that make it possible that after the events of the game, the two COULD have decided to help out with the planning of that battle??

i tried doing maths using the wiki and, if still alive, i think stella would've been around 76 by 1999... so the sisters might have even been around then still... not that i know where i'm doing with this or what that could mean yet lol. i am very scattered today with my thoughts - i just feel like the fact that portrait & the 1999 battle & then the aria series are actually quite close together in the timeline to be. like. something i could maybe use somehow?? if i had a brain

another unrelated point i find interesting reading the wiki (note: i am not just getting my lore from the wiki, i'm going through the games as well, but it's a helpful source while I'm still getting through them!) - dracula's revival in 1999 apparently involved a huge war against humanity and i assume as a result that near everyone would've known about it. but in aria, I specifically remember soma being like "i thought dracula was legend" and seeming to not know he was a real being, which is??? because how would the world forget about that?? when it happened so recently??

so i wonder if something happened in 1999 with dracula's final defeat that sealed away (most) people's memories of the supernatural as well. i know i'm making a huge leap from one (1) line of dialogue, and please tell me if i'm way off here, but i feel like that'd be super cool so i kind of hope it could work... as a headcanon...

   sypha  had  spent  weeks  pouring  over  the  text  she'd  managed  to  rummage  out.  all  that  really  stuck  to  her  was  the  idea  of  summoning  a  heroic  spirit.  someone  from  a  time  long  past  with  a  legend  their  own,  brought  back  for  a  purpose.  it  might  give  them  the  edge  they  need,  small  as  they  are  in  the  face  of,  well,  everything.  neither  trevor  nor  alucard  seemed  to  believe  in  her.  they  were  both  fools  -  she'd  prove  it.  hopefully.

   she  double  checks  the  intricate  summoning  circle  drawn  out  before  taking  a  deep  breath  and  nodding  to  herself.  “alright,  sypha.  now  or  never.”  she's  quick  to  activate  it,  and  finds  herself  having  to  shield  her  eyes  from  the  harsh  light  that  envelops  the  room.  when  it  finally  dies  down  and  she  blinks  her  eyes  back  to  seeing  again  -  there  is  indeed  a  man  before  her.  which  means  - 

   “a-ha!”  immediately  she  begins  to  clap,  a  slight  jump  denoting  further  excitement.  “i  knew  it  would  work!  i  knew  it!  i  can't  wait  to  shove  it  in  their  faces  that  i  got  -” 

   and  she  stops  dead,  staring  at  the  man  before  her.  she  got…  got…  …she  doesn't  recognize  who  this  is.  at  all.  she  stares  blankly,  before  pursing  her  lips. 

   “who…  exactly  are  you?”  she  arches  a  brow.  god  only  knows  she  could  have  just  summoned  someone…  completely  random.  that  wouldn't  go  well.  she  prays  it's  worked.  it  better  have  worked.  she  spent  so  much  time  on  this!
