"If love was a currency, you'd still be the rich privileged boy everyone's always so jealous of."
Steve tried to convince himself Eddie was just teasing him again. He ran a nervous hand through his coifed hair and messed it up a little bit, heart thumping hard in his chest, and met those big warm eyes that were making him feel all sorts of things. He scoffed.
"Don't think you can make me let you take this movie home without paying the rent, Munson."
Instead of giving him the usual Aha, you got me, man, Eddie leaned in closer with a self-satisfied smirk. Steve was both thankful and annoyed with the counter separating them.
"I'm not trying to make you commit anything, sweetheart," Eddie said, voice husky. "I'm flirting with you, actually. Does it work?"
It did
"I don't do casual," Steve said quietly. "If you're just flirting for fun then you should tell me now so I won't… assume things I shouldn't assume."
Gently, Eddie reached for his hand and lifted it to press a soft kiss on his knuckles.
"I don't do casual, either. If you don't mind me talking your ears off about my music and DnD every day, then allow me to court you with all my heart. How does that sound, babydoll?"
Steve blushed. It was so cheesy. They weren't in medieval anymore but here Eddie still talked about courting him as if it was a given. What a nerd. Lucky for Eddie, it was the exact level of cheesiness that made Steve weak.
He bit his lips and glanced up through his lashes. A classic move that he always used to get whatever he wanted. No matter they were girls or boys, everyone all fell for it. He was pretty sure Eddie seemed even more fond as the man watched him do his thing.
Usually, Steve would be the one doing the wooing. He didn't expect it to feel so nice when the roles were reversed.
"I don't mind at all," he said softly.
Eddie smiled, big and bright with delight, then unclasped the silver chain around his neck to give it to him.
"Consider this my first courting gift for you."
Steve toyed with the crimson guitar pick hanging on his chest and felt his heart swell with warmth and fondness. Before Eddie could retreat, he fisted the collar of Eddie's t-shirt and pulled the older man impossibly closer.
"Consider me wooed," he murmured before clashing their lips together.

Good Day Sunshine | Ch. 4
Tumblr media
Barely on My Mind
Summary: Throwing punches is what Joel knows best, but between bloody lips and rosy cheeks, you back further away from him. Some light Ellie interference might fix things.
|| so much angst I’m so sorry, physical violence, jackson!joel, jackson!tommy, jackson!joel x f!reader, our slow burn is building peeps, we all knew aggressive Joel had to come out sometime, little Ellie interference||
Notes: I went back and forth a lot on this chapter behind the scenes, so I hope you like it! Prepare for domestic FLUFF in the next chapter.
The characters, names and characterizations belong to HBO Max and The Last of Us franchise. This work is my creative property and aside from re-blogs and shares, I do not give permission to share or copy my work without permission or consent.
Previous Chapter.
You twisted around in Roberta’s arms to see Joel on top of Roddy and Tommy running over to pull his brother off the young patrolman. Roberta’s arms squeezed tight around you, making sure you don’t try to run into the fray. The panic you felt from being cornered just moments before bubbled up, and you felt your breath coming in quick bursts.
The pair twisted, getting closer to the fire, and you felt a shout rip from your throat. Everyone around you acted quickly to prevent the already hostile situation from escalating to something past heartbreaking.
Tommy wrapped his arms around his brother and hauled him off. You couldn’t see Joel’s face, but you saw him spit on the ground just in front of Roddy’s form, which was curled into the fetal position. The younger man looked up, and you finally saw his bloodied lip and cheek, which quickly swelled over his right eye. He looked at you with his good eye and scoffed.
“God, you aren’t even worth this shit.” Again, Joel tried to lunge but Tommy caught him and twisted him away from Roddy so Daniel and a few of the other guys could help him up and separate the two morons.
Joel stood panting for a few seconds before searching for you. When his eyes landed on your horrified look behind him, you didn’t even let him get a word in before you removed Roberta’s grasp and turned away from the bonfire down the road. You heard a scuffle behind you, presumably the two brothers arguing, but you didn’t care to look back.
You picked up on footsteps behind you a few seconds later and quickened your step. Again, more shuffling. You stopped short and whirled around to see Joel panting and standing just a breath behind you. Without thinking, you held a hand out to push him away, and he tried to grab your wrist, but you ripped it away.
“Where do you get off acting like that?!” His eyebrows creased in confusion. You took a deep breath to center yourself, but no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t control the horrified look on your face. “Joel, why did you do that?! You could’ve seriously hurt him!” An annoyed look crossed his face.
He also tried to take a breath, but like you, he couldn’t keep a lid on his emotions, so both of you stood there, panting and glaring at each other. After a few seconds of no answers from him, you met his eyes again. The intensity staring back at you almost knocked the wind out of you. He looked ready to kill someone.
“He had his hands on you and this look in his eye-” A frustrated huff. “You clammed up and I didn’t think. And then the idiot kept running his mouth.”
“Oh, so you’re the only one who can say ugly things about me? The words left your mouth before you even had a moment to process them. His gaze shifted to the ground in the same breath that yours widened. You almost wanted to apologize, but why? Despite the ugly delivery, it was true. So again, the two of you stood in palpable silence, not knowing whether to continue poking the bear or walk away.
“I’m trying to keep my distance, Joel. I know we came to some sort of truce. But what you said just keeps whirling around in my mind. I know you’re sorry, and clearly, it’s brought out some protective side of you, but I don’t need your help. I don’t need you fixing my house or acting like some savior.” You narrowed your eyes at him as he continued to study the dirt path.
He brought a hand to his face to swipe at his mouth, which you just realized was bleeding. I guess Roddy somehow got a measly punch in. Your name came out of his mouth in an almost pleading tone.
“It’s fine. I’m a big girl. I’ll get over it. But please, you have to stop. Don’t feel obligated. Just go home. I’m fine.”
“It’s not fine!” His voice rose a level, and he stepped closer to you, the two of you just a breath apart again. He reached a hand up but then seemed to think better of it, letting it drop.
“Go home, Joel.” You saw anger flash through his eyes. The older Miller brother clearly had much more to say to you, but your quick gait back home didn’t give him much chance to fit anything else in.
He gave you a few minutes’ head start before following you home. Just to make sure you got inside alright.
Once again, gossip spread like wildfire. It’s safe to say that Ellie, Tommy and Maria all gave him a fair amount of shit for his actions. There was talk of the council coming to some sort of arrangement to issue punishment, but after a few testimonials from Roberta and Daniel on Joel’s behalf, everything was waived. It was clear Roddy was as much an instigator as Joel. Once Tommy heard about Roddy’s behavior, he immediately switched his patrol partner to Joel and assigned the young Casanova to ditch duty for the new expansion. Let him lick his wounds in mud and shit.
Ellie took over picking up ration packages every week, and for a while, you went back to never crossing Joel’s path except in the mess hall. The residents of Jackson had a clear opinion on what went down that night at the bonfire, but no ire was ever directed your way. Roddy became the grunt mule of the town for a few weeks, and most people steered clear of Joel unless they needed help.
It gave him a chance to keep to himself and stay busy. He didn’t want to think about how his grip still didn’t feel right after punching Roddy a handful of times and how the horrified look you gave him somehow wounded him further. You looked scared of him.
Joel really would’ve flown off the handle had he seen the bruises that formed on your hips over the few days following the bonfire. Clearly defined fingertips decorated your sides for a week before beginning to fade.
After weeks of no contact, Joel was wrapping up a day filled with more schoolhouse repairs when Ellie bounced into the construction site with Dina in tow. He quickly stood to usher the girls out of the dangerous zone, letting his rule-following contractor side direct their movements.
The two girls were practically bouncing with excitement, and all Joel gave them in response was a lifted eyebrow. “Do I even want to ask?”
In unison, “Can we go on night patrol?”
An immediate, “Absolutely not.” Boy, did he wish he realized what tsunami of excuses and prepared statements would come over him.
“Tommy will be going and it’s just around the border.”
“They’re bringing all of the potential recruits!”
“It’ll be completely safe!”
Joel was shaking his head so fast, it was a wonder his neck wasn’t falling off its hinge. “And since when did you become a recruit? Ellie, I told you no-”
“You can’t keep me in this bubble forever! C’mon, you know I know how to stay safe and watch my six and scan the perimeter and-”
“Ellie, I said no.” The glare that girl gave him made him wish she were young enough for a timeout.
“Joel.” She was gearing up for another round. “We came to Jackson to be a part of something. Every eligible kid is going. If we’re going to stay here, I need to learn how to do this.” He looked away from the pair. “Or else, why did we come back?”
It took everything in him not to look at her. She had no clue what happened before they got here and he’ll be damned if she ever did. “Fine.”
The two girls immediately reverted to their excited bouncing and chatter, which only stopped when Joel held up a hand. “You actin’ like you’re going to a concert isn’t helping your case. Go prep a pack and meet Tommy at his place. And Ellie,” His gaze sharpened. She gave him a knowing nod.
“I know.” He nodded, trying to control the panicked breath rising. He watched them walk down the road to his house before returning to work.
On his walk home, he realized it was Wednesday. Shit. Wednesdays were the days Ellie was supposed to grab the rations. Fuck.
He just knew he was going to screw this up.
You were knee-deep in squash plants when you heard an uncomfortable throat clearing. You peered up through your straw hat to see Joel Miller shifting uncomfortably on his feet, looking anywhere but your crouched form, only clothed by a pair of shorts, a cropped tee and work boots.
You straightened, looking at him, surprised. “Joel? What are you doing here?”
He cleared his throat and said, “Just here to pick up our rations.”
Again, a forced smile. He was so sick of seeing that.
“I’ll grab someone to help you.” You stood and stretched before walking down the tilled path.
“Can you show me where to go?” You paused and looked over your shoulder at him. He looked nervous. You blinked again in surprise.
“I don’t think that’s the best idea. I’ll go get someone.” You seemed nervous, too, so he just nodded and looked at the ground.
The dejected look that crossed his face didn’t escape your notice, and a pause and a deep breath later, you quietly said, “I’ll show you.”
The two of you walked in awkward silence through the vegetable patches until you reached the greenhouse, which was home to the food reserves. Each offering was neatly categorized in bins with labels and seasonal marks. You spend a few minutes explaining the system, telling him he can pick anything he wants within reason and pointing out which offerings were low or almost gone for the season.
He listened intently, grabbing an empty box from the pile next to the reserves and nodding. When you turned to leave, he finally spoke. “How’s your porch holding up? It givin’ you any trouble?”
You turned and smiled at him. “It’s holding steady.”
He nodded and returned your small smile, “Good.”
He began filling his box. You stood there for a moment watching, almost in shock. This was one of the first real civil conversations you had with him that didn’t result in him being rude or you feeling embarrassed. Or both.
You watched for a few more moments to make sure he was good before turning away to return to picking and pruning. He didn’t let himself fully relax into the task until he heard your footsteps receding. After filling his box with enough greens to turn Ellie a different shade after the week was through, he retraced his path through the vegetable section to leave, throwing a well-rehearsed wave your way before exiting.
You smiled and laughed lightly to yourself before responding in turn. At least he was trying.
A few days later, you were leaving your house to head to work when you saw Ellie and Dina bounding down your walkway with matching smirks. You don’t think you’d ever had a chance to speak to Ellie, so seeing her in your yard both confused and intrigued you.
“Ellie? Dina? What are y’all doing here?” The two looked at each other before their two smirks grew.
“Just here to invite you to dinner tonight.” Your eyebrows rose.
“With the two of you? Aren’t you a little old for a babysitter?” Ellie shook her head slowly, that grin only growing.
“No. To dinner at our house. You. Me. Joel.” You leaned forward in shock and laughed, shaking your head.
“Absolutely not.” It caught Ellie off guard how much you sounded like Joel then.
“Oh, c’mon, please? He keeps forcing spinach down my throat and I know he’s trying, but his cooking is not good.” She threw you a startling rendition of gagging and nausea to play up her offer.
Hell, if you weren’t already thinking about considering going. “Does Joel know about this?”
“Of course!” The two girls answered in unison. Almost too quickly.
“Right.” Your eyebrows stitched together. You looked at the ground, weighing your options. You could say no again, but that would only prompt the two girls to continue badgering you. Or you could just give in and brave a night at the Miller dinner table.
How bad could it be?
Next Chapter.

The heat was getting to be a problem.
The power had been out in National City for three days, and those three days were expected to be among the hottest of the year. Lena was, frankly, desperate.
You might think that she’d have it easy, but anyone who would think that a penthouse in a skyscraper would be easy to cool would quickly be disabused of that notion. The windows mostly didn’t open and having the balcony doors spread wide did next to nothing when the breeze felt like opening an oven, even up here.
It had been Alex’s suggestion, sent by text.
Why don’t you go to Kara’s? The loft is pretty breezy.
She was right, of course. When Lena arrived, Kara had every one of her huge loft windows open, allowing the breeze to flow freely through the open, airy space.
There was another problem, though.
When Kara opened the door, Lena nearly keeled over. Kara was wearing a sports bra and shorts so short they barely deserved the name, exposing a vast amount of golden, sun-kissed skin. Worse, her gloriously muscled stomach and shoulders glistened with sweat.
Lena was surprised to see that the heat bothered her, but it clearly did. Kara had forgone her glasses, too, and after she opened the door, she swept the back of her hand across her forehead and sighed.
“Hi,” Lena squeaked.
“Hi yourself. Hot out there?”
“It’s hot in here.”
“Come in, come in,” said Kara.
Lena stepped inside, forcing herself not to stare at Kara’s thick thighs and the swell of her chest under straining fabric. Was that zipper some advanced Kryptonian technology?
“Want something to drink?”
“Isn’t your fridge dead, too?”
“Yeah, but I cheat. Watch.”
Kara slipped a bottle of water out of a pack on her counter and breathed on it. Ice crystals formed on the surface and the water visibly chilled. It shocked Lena when she accepted it and the cold water on her lips was bliss. Lena let out a soft sigh and closed her eyes, savoring the feeling of cold spreading through her chest, cooling her body.
When she opened her eyes, Kara was the one staring. Lena had thrown on a short, a-frame sun dress that bared her back, for no other reason than making sure that her skin could have as much surface exposed to the air to evaporate and cool her down as possible.
“So what are you up to?” Lena asked.
Kara gestured to the notebook and stacks of papers on the table.
“Old-fashioned journalism, I guess. My laptop battery died yesterday.”
“I thought you’d be out there trying to fix the power.”
Kara shrugged. “With what, my super-electrician powers?”
Lena shot her a look, raising her brow.
Kara turned away, heading for the windows.
Oh, Jesus, Lena thought.
It wasn’t as if Lena hadn’t… noticed Kara’s physique. She wasn’t blind, after all. They’d taken spin class together, and Kara liked to wear leggings on the weekends.
But holy shit, those shorts made her ass look… Super.
Lena was still fumbling over a buns of steel pun in her head when Kara turned back.
“Hey, you okay? Your heart raced for a second there.”
“F-fine,” said Lena.
“Alex and the others are coming over tonight for an emergency game night,” said Kara. “I better get ready.”
For the next couple of hours, Lena helped Kara neaten up her apartment and prepare non-perishable snacks and a cooler full of beer and wine coolers, chilled care of Kara. Alex and Kelly were the first to show up, with Alex giving Lena a cheeky look as she walked into the apartment.
“Hey, you two,” she said. “Been having a hot time?”
There was something brittle in Kara’s laugh that set Lena a little on edge, and the Danvers sisters shared one of those looks they shared that made Lena wonder if they could communicate telepathically. Whatever the message was, it made Kara look away first, distracting with an offered beer that Alex gladly accepted.
Lena took a wine cooler, wishing it were wine.
Nia and Brainy showed up next, followed by J’onn, who was the only one fully dressed in a button-down shirt and khakis, while everyone else was dressed for the beach or a track meet.
Lena sat on the floor, because the hardwood was cool under her butt, and leaned back against Kara’s couch. Kara sat beside her and Lena’s heart definitely sped up.
Looking over, it was hard to tear her eyes away. Kara made a magnificent display- the blocky weight of her shoulders, full biceps and strong arms and bulky, sculpted forearms. Lena’s eyes followed the vein on the back of Kara’s arm down the back of her strong hand and the elegant lengths of her fingers.
Kara kept her nails neatly trimmed like that because of Supergirl duties, right?
Right?
“Hey Luthor? You having a heat stroke?” said Alex. “You look spaced out over there.”
Alex had a playful grin plastered on her face, though she too was sweating profusely. A cooler breeze rolled in through the big windows and everyone sighed in delight.
Except J’onn. “What shall we play first?” she said.
“Clue!” Nia chirped.
“Brainy always kicks our ass at Clue,” said Alex, “and I am not playing Monopoly with a literal billionaire again.”
“Perhaps we should play Risk,” said J’onn, rifling through the game shelf.
“We could try Twisted,” Kara suggested in a deadpan voice.
Lena swallowed hard, thinking of herself tangled up on the mat with Kara, clothes glued to their skin by sweat, salty skin sliding against salty skin, the scent of her…
“Earth to Lena,” said Alex. “Got any ideas?”
“Exploding Kittens,” said Lena. “We haven’t done that one in a while.”
“Kara, chill us some cold ones, will you?” said Nia.
Once everyone had a rapidly warming drink, Brainy dealt the cards and the game began. Alex called Kara out for peeking several times, with that loaded Danvers Sisters Look and an almost predatory smirk.
She wasn’t the only one peeking.
Lena participate in the game but her mind was elsewhere, specifically the valley of Kara’s broad back, where sweat gathered between her muscles and rain down in heavy beads, or the sweat gathering along her collarbone or sparking along the lush inner curves of her tightly contained breasts.
“Hey,” said Kara. “It’s your turn, Lena.”
Then she reached over and brushed damp lock of inky hair out of Lena’s eyes.
She could have melted. She swallowed hard, brushed the sweat from her brow, and made a hasty and wasteful play that would probably cost her any chance of winning, but she didn’t care. The game seemed at most a distant concern.
Kara’s tongue glazing along her soft pink lips was much more interesting. They’d pretty much all given up on makeup but Kara was still positively radiant, soft and inviting and homey in a way that made Lena ache in her chest.
And, uh, other places.
It was full dark now, so they finished the game and Kara and Alex got up to light a few candles.
“This is like camping,” said Nia.
“We should have thought to procure ‘marshmallows’, said Brainy. “Kara could toast them with her heat vision.”
“We hardly need more heat. I’m boiling,” said Lena.
J’onn let out a soft grunt. “It’s my turn to go on patrol. I think I’ll be the first to head out.
Everyone gave their goodbyes as he headed out the window. The others huddled closer around the table, lit by the candle sitting in the middle.
“We should tell scary stories,” said Alex. “Like around a campfire.”
“Since it was your idea, you go first,” said Kelly.
Alex leaned into it with abandon, leaning in over the table as she started spinning a campfire yarn that Lena quickly recognized as The Hook.
Kara edged closer, until her bare thigh pressed against Lena. She leaned in close, and it wouldn’t have taken much for Lena to… rest her head on Kara’s shoulder. It just kind of happened, Kara’s scent filling her nostrils as she turned into Kara.
Lena flinched as Kara shot her a concerned look.
She can hear my heartbeat.
Kara must have thought Lena was scared, because she casually slipped an arm around her.
Lena’s breath caught. Kara’s powerful arm rested lazily around her hip and her relaxed hand rested on Lena’s thigh, fingers placed lightly on bare skin.
It was a powerfully possessive gesture, not just protective but… more. Lena shifted a little and let herself completely fall against Kara.
Alex kept on telling the story, her gaze pausing heavily on the two of them as she scanned the room. Brainy looked bored but Nia looked genuinely petrified and Kelly was looking at her wife with the kind of adoring reference that was currently plastered on Lena’s face as she looked up at Kara.
Alex reached the crescendo of the story and Lena let out a little gasp, turning her face into Kara’s neck, more for the sake of it than out of fear. Kara’s hand stroked lazily up and down her back.
“Don’t worry, I won’t let anyone get you,” Kara whispered.
“You two okay over there?” said Alex.
“Fine,” said Kara.
“There are two actual couples here and you two are the ones doing the heavy petting.”
They weren’t heavy petting. Okay sure, Lena had her fingers curled around Kara’s hip and Kara’s hand was staring to pass the platonic zone when stroking her back but…
Oh.
“It’s getting late,” said Kelly. “Maybe we should head home.”
“Agreed,” said Nia. “Come on, Brainy.”
Lena and Kara didn’t get up.
The others did, piling out of the apartment. Alex went last, shooting Kara another of those damned looks, smiling like a self-satisfied cat after a big stretch.
The door closed and Kara yawned.
“Mind if I stay?” Lena said, quickly. “My place is just too hot to sleep.”
“Of course,” Kara said softly.
Lena didn’t move. They were alone now, the apartment dark except for candles that threw flickering shadows and made Kara even more ethereal. Lena could barely believe someone so gorgeous could be real.
“Lena,” Kara said quietly. “Have you ever thought about…” she trailed off.
“About what?”
“Us. What we are to each other.”
“Yes,” said Lena.
“Me too.”
“What are you thinking?” Lena asked.
“You’re my best friend. You mean more to me than basically anyone else, and the thought of you has kept me going through some really dark times.”
When Kara smiled for her, her eyes lit up, sparkling in the candlelight, like moonlight dancing on nighttime waves. She was entrancing.
“I…” Lena began. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you as just a friend. There’s more on the table if you want it.”
“More like… kissing?”
“Yes, exactly.”
This was actually happening. It was real, not a daydream or a fantasy. Kara moved with agonizing slowness, full of a gentle, kind intensity as she leaned down and lightly brushed her lips across Lena’s.
It was like being tossed in a tub of ice water… in a good way. Lena shivered as Kara cupped her jaw and went for another kiss, more forcefully this time, more insistent. The breathed as one.
“Kara,” Lena whispered.
She couldn’t help it. Lena dragged her tongue over Kara’s skin, tasting the sweat pooled at the base of her neck. Kara let out a low moan followed by a deep basso rumble in her chest, pulsating in time with her breathing.
“Did you just lick my sweat?”
“Are you purring?!”
Kara giggled. “I can do lots of things.”
Lena looked up at her with lidded eyes. “Oh yeah? Show me what you got.”
She squeaked as Kara picked her up in a single smooth motion, and with a self-satisfied smirk, carried her towards the bed.
Later, as they lay in a tangle of perspiring limbs atop sweat-soaked sheets, the power thumped back on and the air conditioning began to blow over them, chilling Lena’s skin.
She barely noticed.

While Eddie is getting love advice from Hopper, Steve is plotting the demise of two of his friends’ relationship because Robin admitted to having a crush on Nancy.
His eyes keep shifting back and forth from Nancy and Joyce before he turns to Jonathan like, “You ever notice that your girlfriend looks a lot like your mom?”
“She actually looks more like your mom than you do,” Steve adds. “Weird.”

Lan Xichen doesn't actually like Wei Wuxian that much, the boy is a grade A shitstirrer after all. However, when that Lotus Pier problem child arrived his mostly nonverbal and touch averse baby brother actually started interacting with someone his age (!!!!!!!!!!) and that is worth way more than whatever mischief the little brat is up to.

-JJK.
- I Show love by physical affection. I like to receive love from act of service (princess treatment)
-I have a pretty bold character similar to Tam Kaur, not afraid to say what I want, what I don't like, but I'm pretty flustered with him and pretty Submissive to him :)
-Likes: Cuddles, working out at the gym, quality time, the beach, getting shown off.
Dislikes : Not getting affection, attention, s/o not acknowledging me.
-Gym, painting, watching movies
-Green flag: Takes care of me fully, protect, provide, defends me from others, shows me off, spends time with me regularly.
Red flag: Not putting effort to spend time with me, keeps our relationship a secret bc of wtv reasons, put someone else above me in their priority list.
Moodboard of your relationship
- I'm actually a brown girl irl with raven hair and a pear shaped body; flat chested with a pretty defined lower body.
-Female reader.
Congratulations! You have been matched with...
Yuuji Itadori
Tumblr media
Your relationship with Yuuji can be summed up by that one Will Smith meme, where he's happily showing off his wife. It's clear to anyone that Yuuji worships the ground you walk on, a puppy dog partner with fierce devotion and protection, come hell or high water.
He considers you his dream girl, and treats you as such. You like cuddling and going to the gym? Perfect! Those are two of his favourite physical activities. You're blunt and to the point? So is he, and he likes it that way—he doesn't like to play guessing games, and wants you to say outright what is working or not. You like spending time together and being shown off? Yuuji would love nothing more than to be given as many opportunities to gush about his amazing, stunning girlfriend. He definitely has you on his lock screen, talking people's ears off about how wonderful and beautiful you are, the latest painting you've made, the progress you've made in the gym, etc. He loves being able to take you out on spontaneous dates, turning daily activities into little adventures—even a trip to the convenience store can be fun, with enough willingness and imagination.
Even though he doesn't have a lot of money to his name, he does what he can with his two hands. As a result, he's often one for physical touch and/or acts of service. He's a big fan of skinship, so you bet he's always got a hand on you while in public, both as a way to show you off and keep you safe (he definitely follows the sidewalk rule). He'll also happily carry any bags you have, or help you with any odd jobs in your life. His most common form of love is picking up your favourite food and feeding it to you, just because he can. If he doesn't know how to do something, he's eager to learn, wanting to support you in any way he can.
Dates with him can really be anything—he's not a picky guy, and is just happy to be by your side—but if the weather is right, he'd love to take you to the beach. A day spent splashing in the waves, eating delicious snacks, and overall enjoying life with you? It's the least his queen deserves.

Hello levv! Okay so if I had to describe myself, I see myself as a very talkative person. Like not going around and talking to everyone but talkative and extroverted in general. I have been called funny and comforting by friends. My sign is leo. Ideal type would be someone understanding and patient. Someone who’d be open to communicate and care. Favorite trope(s) might have to be rivals to lovers or grumpy x sunshine. And favorite season is winter! Hobbies are: sketching and baking. Group I’d like to be matched w is enhypen nd can I get a song as well?😁🙏🏻 thank youuu!🩷

MATCH FOUND! your match is... NISHIMURA RIKI

NI-KIlikes listening to you talk, it could be just you ranting about how your day went and he'd just be silently nodding along to what you say. he thinks your voice is really nice.
NI-KIthinks your presence is so comforting. when he's tired he would just lay down next to you, and he will immediately feel 5x better.
NI-KIwants to help you in the kitchen when you're baking, but would inevitably turn it into a chaotic (yet adorable) mess. flour fights? check! dropping ingredients? double check. in the end, he’d mostly just hang around to sneak hugs and make you laugh. whenever ni-ki feels stressed or tired, just the smell of your baked goods would instantly make him feel better. he’d hug you from behind while you work and say, “you’re my happy place, you know that?”
NI-KIis a sneaky snacker. he will constantly steal and eat the dough, chocolate or frosting laying around the counter when you're not looking. ends with him getting scolded when he's caught cause now you have to measure the ingredients out again to cover for the one's he ate.
NI-KIis your official taste tester! his critiques are not very dependable though, "needs 0.5% more sugar and 10x more chocolate."
NI-KIshows off the food you bake for him to the other members, "my girlfriend made this for me!" he says it so proudly, and ends up getting teased by the other members for that. "wow, didn't know our maknae can be like this~"

Always room for seconds (dp x dc)
"There they go again," says Aunt Alicia as she looks at the hazmat-clad backs of her sister and her husband jumping into their mish-mash-of-a-van. "And on Thanksgiving too," she finishes to herself as she turns toward her niece and nephew. Neither of them look surprised, though Jazz is clearly more affected if the tick in her jaw is any indication.
"They promised," she practically spits but Danny just sighs and puts a hand on her shoulder. It seems to draw the fight out of Jazz a bit and she sags onto herself.
Alicia loves her sister but she can be so irresponsible sometimes.
"Come on kids, let's go back inside. It's about time to put the turk-" she stops short, then groans. Maddie had insisted on bringing the turkey on account of not wanting Alicia to go to all the trouble, and Alicia had agreed on the condition that her sister wouldn't try to make it. "...And the turkey is still in the van isn't it?"
Danny makes a face. "It's probably for the best. I'm pretty sure I saw it move on the way here."
Alicia doesn't let her head fall into her hands, but only just. Instead, she takes a deep breath to calm herself down to rally her thoughts. "Alright. It'll be too late by the time we drive to town and buy a new raw one, so we can just get some already made from the store. That good for you guys?"
Jazz and Danny make sounds of assent before all three of them pile up in the car. Town isn't too far away, and the trip is mostly silent. Alicia is hesitating over what to say to cheer up her niece and nephew. In the end, they pull up to the grocery store before she manages to come up with anything.
"Dad was also supposed to bring desert," Jazz mentions as she grabs a caddie and wheels it back to them.
"I made apple pie just in case," Alicia answers. Despite her dislike for him, she can admit that Jack Fenton is a generous man. However, as she has learned over the years, that generosity doesn't extend to fudge. Which is why she's got her famous apple pie ready to pop into the oven.
Danny nods relieved, as he files in behind his sister. The three of them are rolling past the frozen section when a familiar voice cuts through the store music.
"Alicia?"
At that, Alicia looks up to see the face of one and only Martha Kent. Her lips stretch into a smile unconsciously at the sight.
"Martha, hi," she answers as the other woman starts walking closer. "How are you?"
"I'm good," the other woman says as she stops in front of them. "Just doing some last-minute shopping." Then Martha looks to Danny and Jazz and gives them a smile. "And who might these two be?"
"This is Jazz and Danny," Alicia introduces them, "my niece and nephew. They're spending Thanksgiving up at the cabin with me."
"Oh, that's wonderful!" Martha says sincerely. "You left your sister and her husband in charge of the turkey, then?" She winks.
Alicia winces. "Ah, not exactly."
"They had a work emergency," Jazz says, unhappy.
Martha lets out a sympathetic oh.
"That's why we're here," Alicia explains. "They left with the turkey without realizing, so we'll have to settle for store-bought this year."
Martha makes a noise of sympathy before her face shifts into something more pensive. "You know," she starts. "I've got a big turkey at home and there's only going to be my son and me to eat it. If you guys would like, we'd love to have you over to help us with it."
"Oh we couldn't possibly-" Alicia starts to protest but Martha takes a step forward and takes her hands.
"You'd be doing us a favour," Martha says, her hands still into Alicia's as she looks up earnestly at the redhead. And damn it all because Alicia can feel a blush spreading on her cheeks at that.
"Alright," Alicia says, too flustered to argue.
Martha squeezes her hands once before letting go and Alicia can't help but miss the warmth of them. "Then it's settled."
"Alright," repeats Alicia. "We'll have to swing back home, though. I made pie."
"That's wonderful!" Martha's smile is radiant and it makes something in Alicia's chest warm.
She disguises it with a cough before speaking up. "Is six thirty too early for you?"
"It's perfect. We'll be waiting for you then," Martha says. "And for your sister and her husband too, if they manage to tear themselves away from work."
"That's not likely," mumbles Danny under his breath. Uncharacteristically, Jazz doesn't say anything about her brother's manners, only putting her own hand on his shoulder. Martha catches Alicia's eye and they exchange a look.
"Well, we'll be glad to have you three, anywho," Martha states firmly which gets her a hesitant smile from Jazz.
Alicia clears her throat. "We'd better get going if we want to be ready in time."
"Oh yes," Martha agrees. "I have to make sure the turkey's not burning." Then she winks, and for some reason, Alicia can feel that pesky blush coming back. It's made worse by the shrewd look Jazz gives her.
"See you soon!" says Martha as she leaves.
"Bye," Alicia answers back a little weakly. Then she looks down to the ground and sighs. When she straightens her head, she's immediately on guard as she catches her niece's smug look.
"What?" Alicia asks warily.
"Is Martha single?" Jazz asks, with a butter-wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth face.
"Yeah," the older redhead answers slowly. "Why?"
"Just wanted to know," Jazz says innocently. And even Danny is looking at his sister suspiciously now. "since you've got a crush on her and all."
"I do no-I don't know what you're talking about!" Alicia protests though she feels her cheeks warming for the third time today.
And now Danny is starting to smirk too as he exchanges a look with his sister. "Oh," he starts as he looks towards Martha's disappearing figure. "This is going to be fun."

Something collides into Sunday's shoulder with a soft thud. Confused, he turns to look, only to find that someone has fallen asleep. The Party Car is no place to be sleeping and while it would be best for Sunday to best to wake this drowsy soul so that she can go sleep in a proper bed, he finds it difficult to do so. There's something about this sight that's oddly endearing. Not to just Sunday, but— —to the rest of the Astral Express crew as well.

For context, that ribbon thingy is a symbiotic parasite that evolved to look like ribbons, they can mind control ppl into doing acts of pleasure since it eats on the charge the feeling produces, pretty harmless over all though.
