   It all started when the boss had missed one of the biweekly meetings- cancelled it and rescheduled for the next day, but still. The red-hooded man (though he barely counted as such, and the amount of heart attacks they had all had at that fact was crazy) had never missed a meeting before. 

   Been late? Only when Black Mask had decided to try and push his luck one night, but miss it entirely? Never. 

   So the lot of them- the second in commands for Hood’s gang that the other goonion members were starting to call his “Merry Men” however jokingly- were already on edge. Their boss may be incredibly competent, but he was also incredibly young, like should still be in high school young, not running a crime ring. 

   But that was Crime Alley for you- everyone grew up far faster than they should, no matter how young they were. 

   Alex- who usually dealt with their lower members- exchanged a look with their usual partner Liam across the table, silently motioning with their head as though to ask if this was actually happening or what they should do. So yes, all of them were worried, some more visibly so than others. 

   Did they go searching for the boss? Did they wait? He wasn’t answering his phone, which was even more concerning than before, even if he did go radio silent sometimes. Everything was melding into a worrying situation that they weren’t entirely sure what to do with. 

   Honestly they were expecting the boss to be covered in blood or dealing with some sort of horrible wound when he finally entered the warehouse almost a full thirty minutes without so much as a message. 

   That? Was not what they got.

So I’m in a mental rut struggling with something that I know logically is kind of silly but my brain won’t cooperate and you KNOW my favorite coping mechanism is projecting on The Blorbos. So.

Trans!Dream who loves Hob’s body hair but also struggles with body image issues because even on T he barely got any body hair himself. As a boyfriend he appreciates how gorgeous Hob is but the gender envy sometimes creeps in and makes him insecure about his own lack of body hair and makes him worry he’s not masculine enough.

Eventually Hob figures out what’s going on and does everything he can to comfort Dream that he’s perfectly handsome and manly just the way he is 💕

Dream is so valid for this btw. Its very understandable to both admire and envy the qualities that your partner has! Still, Dream feels bad about it and tries to hide his emotions. Luckily Hob is pretty perceptive, and he sees Dream’s sad little glances.

He initially offers to shave his whole chest rug off - he really wouldn't mind! But Dream is like "absolutely NOT that would be a CRIME" and so they sit down together to think of other solutions. Maybe they can talk to Dream’s doctor about encouraging more body hair growth. And if that doesn't work out, well, that's okay. Because Hob loves, adores Dream, no matter what. Even if he turned into a worm overnight, Hob would keep him in a little worm habitat and take care of him forever.

He makes Dream promise to tell him when the feelings get particularly overwhelming, because all he wants is to be able to help. He knows that he can't fix the way Dream is feeling, but that isn't the point. He wants to sit with his beloved during those emotions, and remind him that he isn't alone. Cause Dream is his man, and that's the most important thing in the world.

The character I’m writing is trans just a forewarning incase that’s not your cup of tea. On that note I’m very much open to trans characters! A little about myself: I’m a 21 y/o Transmasc writer. I only write on Discord. I’m CST timezone, but I work the night shift currently, so replies out of rp can be spotty. ( I also do my best not to check my phone at work as well. But I will be off for 2 weeks. ) My writing ranges from lazy lit to novella. I need at least 3-4 good paragraphs to be able to work with. They don’t need to be luscious with details, but descriptiveness is much appreciated and preferred. I’ve been writing for around 9 years now, it’s a great passion of mine. I love the escapism of fantasy and made up worlds you can dive into. I don’t do rapid fire replies! And my activity can vary! I will always try to get rp replies in at least once a week though. A little about my character: A 4’10” - 5” ft tall street fighter who’s in a gang. Sammy has the body of a rabbit but the heart of a wolf. He’s an insolent, stubborn, younger guy who may be petite but he packs a hard punch and can handle his own to a certain point. His unwavering loyalty and obedience only lies within his gang leader. He might be his pet, but he is in no way tamed. He’s all fire and rage, he absolutely refuses to back down or bite his tongue. He’d find a way to give lip even if his tongue was cut out. All around his familial relationships are shit to say the least. He doesn’t trust easily, he’s paranoid, cold hearted on the outside, and violent. Like a mad dog he’ll snap without warning, his fangs are always bared, and his lips are always curled in a snarl. He’s hooked on cigarettes and booze, and he can’t last without his mood stabilizers. He works at an underground fight club and can often be seen sporting bars, even if he isn’t of age for a plot. The club is a front for the gang. I do often prefer to write Sam in a violent dystopian like setting where crime is rampant, bodies are in the streets, the city’s in chaos, etc. Think the purge almost. Otherwise, he’s just got a rough life on the streets in a gang. ( His age can vary for the plot btw! 🍪 is fine with me. I primarily write him as 20 default, and 25 the oldest though. )

So I don't have anyone to talk about my CoD OCs. I have two, Sunny a 5'5" trans man and a former Combat medic and his best friend and partner in crime Vamp a 6'3" recon specialist. Sunny got his nickname because his Unit called him their little ball of sunshine. Vamp claims he got his nickname because of his inhuman proficiency with a knife and would be covered in blood more often then not after a successful mission. in reality it's because of incident involving a late night cranberry drink run gone bad in which some new guys startled him covering him in red juice making him looking a bit monstrous. every holiday/birthday Sunny gifts him novelty juice packs that look like blood bags, because how else do you feed the vampire? a major side effect that it has started the rumor that Vamp is an actual vampire and Sunny is his handler in company's they've worked with in the past. is it that good or bad? who knows, it makes them memorable at least.

Sunny left the military due to his father getting ill and his mother needed someone to help run the florist shop and given that his sibling's jobs are "actual life long careers", according to his mom, he finishes out the end of his contract and goes home accepting his fate. However Vamp one day shows up to the shop and is like, "hey b!tch! Guess who's gone into the private sector and wants to take your ass with them?" Basically kidnaps him because Sunny deserves to do be doing something he wants to do not what his family expects of him. So they kind of bounce between company to company mostly doing temp work.

Over time they've added new skills to their resumes like Sunny gets good at undercover work using his florist background to send hidden messages. Vamp learns coding and gains a particular knack at making EMPs with limited resources.on the field Sunny is confident and can command a room and is unusually strong being able to carry people two or three times his weight off the battle field. out of the field he is a stuttering shy mess who gets embarrassed easily. even then he always makes sure to greet everyone with a smile even when he's freaking out.

Vamp on the field is cold and calculating. he moves fast and prefers close combat in the dark. off the field he's light hearted, cracking jokes, and giving shit to people he considers close especially Sunny. Vamp is also a bit of a nerd but don't call him that he takes great offense to that.

I'd like to think that Sunny's friendly demeanor and much smaller size would make him at least approachable to Moose, but I'm pretty sure Moose would also come off as intimidating to the shorter man, especially if he finds out that moose is one of the favorite children in shadow company without knowing why, if Sunny has learned anything from jumping from company to company is that you don't mess with the favorite. not that he'd want to mess with Moose he just wouldn't want to risk miscommunication, something he sadly excels at when out of the field.

I think if Moose met Vamp on the battlefield he'd stay away from the man, but if Sunny and Vamp got hired on as temp contractors to shadow company. Vamp would try and talk to him especially since he always wants to learn from any of the tech specialist's in each company they work with. Sorry this ran rather long.

Moose has had some bad experiences with mercenaries who are temporarily brought into Shadow Company’s ranks so he tries to keep his distance. Whether or not he comes around depends on what the other Shadows have to say about them.

Moose is normally very work oriented on the field (and usually very far away from active combat). Graves places him somewhere with a team of Shadows and Moose won’t move unless Graves tells him to. But, if possible, Graves won’t have Moose on the field at all and he would be support from a much safer and controlled location.

Off the field and not during a mission, if Vamp approaches him to ask him about tech, Moose may agree to show him some things depending on what the other Shadows have said about him. Same goes for Sunny on whether Moose approaches him or lets himself be approached.

The whole vampire rumor would definitely take off in Shadow Company considering they love shit like that, and next thing you know Vamp is being addressed as “Count Fang” in a email. Moose didn’t actually mean to send it with that name and now he’s dying because he’s embarrassed and partially terrified of what Vamp would do. All the other Shadows are laughing their asses off and Moose is just losing his mind over how he addressed the guy who is very good at stabbing.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 I can just imagine him trying to rizz you up and then when he goes to lean on the wall he falls over, and then falls down the stairs that are conveniently there as you watch, dumbfounded.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 He fancies himself a smooth-talker, but he is sweating BULLETS anytime he’s confronted with having to have a conversation with you he’s a WRECCKKKKK.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 I imagine he’ll fall for you because you almost seem to cancel out his bad luck.  You remember his keys, help him out when he’s using his abilities, and you wait for him, never straying too far ahead.

You watch as Dan pats his pockets, brow furrowing and moustache moving as he scrunches his face in realisation.  As he’s about to lament loudly for everyone to hear about how he lost his keys, you swoop in like an angel and take his hand, leaving the item in his palm.  He stares at them as you simply walk away, then he looks up at you.  For once, Dan Gansley is shocked into silence.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 UGH, can you imagine his confession??  He probably tries to create this grand gesture of affection for you and it’s all on fire (literally) by the end of it.  He’s convinced he’s ruined it.  And yet you just take his hand???  And return his feelings??????  Dan Gansley could die right now and he’d die the happiest man on the planet.

It’s over.  Well and truly over.  Dan stares on in horror at the display he had prepared for you in flames.  It had been going so well, too well, and it just had to go wrong while you’re standing in front of him. “Ah– d-don’t look!  Listen, I have another thing to show you; something, uh, better!”  He insists, the wild magic already manifesting in his hands.  “I’ll do something, prove I’m worthy of your…” He trails off when your hand takes his, and the magic vanishes into the air as you meet.  Dan glances up at you questioningly before noticing the amusement shining in your eyes and the gentle smile you give him. He understands, and he returns with a lopsided grin of his own.

I'm 27, 5'7", have short dark hair, and green eyes. I'm an INFJ, a nerd at heart, and tend to be a little too blunt or take things too literally. I have a hard time reading through social interactions and such because of said literalness. I also have ADHD, which tends to manifest as hyper-focus and self-neglect more than anything, and I consume enough caffeine to stun a horse.

For work, I study water quality and work in the public water sector. My job involves a lot of alone time and outdoor work while taking water samples then analyzing them in lab. I'm used to being alone, in the woods, like 90% of the time. My boss dubbed me "the plant's barn cat" because I show up after spending days in the woods with sticks and spiders stuck to my hair. lmao

The light of my life is my little girl. She recently turned 4 and is my everything. She's my mini-me, my partner in crime, my best friend. We do everything we possibly can together. Shes my whole world.
