WIFI I HAD A THOUGHT… I saw an anon's ask about melusine!Legacy (their ask + your headcanons are super cute btw!!) and hear me out for a moment…

Imagine being friends with a grumpy Legacy but you've been absent from time to time, and later on, it turns out you're a melusine. (a melusine that has a hard time with their "human" form but shh let's assume and go with the thought that it's probs a huge temporary thing and experiment, and in the end, it didn't last long-)

seeing you in your melusine form might have startled you//made you feel nervous at first because it's the first time he's seen you like this! but maaaann imagine after some time you two bond a bit more…

idk the thought of a melusine that only has Legacy as a friend and bonds with him a lot makes me <3 !!

oh this is such a cute idea. Oceanids can shapeshift, so maybe Melusines can also learn to shapeshift...

you meet Foul Legacy when he's wandering around Elynas after Childe did some idle fighting to let off some steam, and you're immediately fascinated by his otherworldly appearance. no matter how much he glares or hisses you simply won't stop following him, asking him a hundred questions a minute and fawning over his pretty wings and horns. you also keep coming back over the days that he's there, appearing for a few hours in the morning before disappearing again, and over time Legacy grows used to your presence, even missing you when you're not around. he'll sit next to you on the sunny grass, quietly listening to you talk about everything and anything as you fluff his ginger hair

then one day you don't arrive, and Foul Legacy worries, even though he tries not to show it. he waits in the usual location, tapping his claws impatiently until he hears a familiar voice, perking up with a happy chirp

but instead of you, he comes face-to-face with a very nervous Melusine. Foul Legacy is immediately up in arms, snatching his weapon and growling, and the Melusine hastily begins to explain- it's you! the real you, at least. you've always been a Melusine, you've just been using a human form, but it's difficult to maintain for very long. you awkwardly tap your mitten-like hands together, hoping that he won't be mad at you. Legacy leans down to your height, giving your antennae a gentle poke and nuzzling his face against yours, earning a small giggle from you. a yelp slips from your mouth when he suddenly picks you up and puts you on his shoulders, your hands holding onto his horns, and he glances up and lets out a calm trill

wherever you go, he'll go with you. two inhuman creatures exploring together as friends

Alex’s post blowed up in all the social media platforms; leaving people curious and wanting for more information. For them it was an unexpected match, no one ever thought about it, but seeing you guys together just felt right in a way.

You were also surprised at their reaction, thinking that they would be against it like in your past relationships. I mean there were still haters but there are more people supporting you than before. You were so happy.

Rules for Tumblr blog and discord (dm me if you want to be added to discord)

They had to be added because of issues the CGs have been having

Here are the rules:

- Absolutely no littles/pets in big chats

- Ask a CG their boundaries and respect it

- if a CG doesn’t do things like diapers, medical, or other then respect it

- Censor vents properly

- When certain fictive alters front, if they have source trauma, then avoid it

- If someone has something triggering at all avoid it

- Do not expect comfort from CG 24/7 [We are human too]

- No physical punishments

- Respect boundaries

- listen to CGS

- When a CG asks you to STOP you STOP

- No biting (playful biting okay is the CG is okay with it)

- no physical harm to yourself or the cgs. Don’t care if it’s “just rp”, it hurts and panics us

- No asking cgs to be big/little

- No asking for specific alters in systems to front

- Some cgs can’t read little talk, if they say no to it, then respect that. They want to understand you

- Be patient

- A lot of us have physical and mental disabilities too, so that may limit us from responding

- We have lives of our own and we can’t always take care of you

- No asking if we got your ask, no “tumblr ate my ask”. It makes us feel bad for not getting it

- Most of us are people pleasers guys. Don’t abuse that

- Only eat stuff that is edible

- LET CGS TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES

WE ARE HUMANS

- No bullying. We will be kind to one another

- It’s one thing if you have established a relationship with someone and it’s mutual, and it’s another thing to just bully. Knock it off. Just because you are in the mentality of a kid, doesn’t mean you have to be a jerk

- No babying someone unless they want to be

- No NSFW talk in little spaces (like drugs, s-xual content, alcohol etc)

- Don’t flood a blog

- If the person is clearly very overwhelmed, don’t talk to them as much

- If it’s important then direct message them

So I tend to ignore a lot of canon sometimes whenever I indulge in my silly thoughts and it's kinda ironic for me but… Let's say somehow Childe and Foul Legacy are separated beings later on in life, and FL is like Endora! A smol, floating lidol moth bebbi <3 ofc he can still shift forms to his huge scary og form but it's usually when he's fighting others :p

Imagine his dynamic with Childe… But most importantly imagine having this floating abysmal creechur being all softtt and chirping around you~ istg Childe would probably get jealous once or twice because of this constant attention FL is giving you.

The day you and Childe gave him a slice of lemon to lick or bite is the day he cannot trust either of you for such a sin, how dare you both trick him into doing this... Childe will suffer for laughing at him, but you might not suffer as much. /lh + j it's like giving a baby lemon and seeing the look on its face kJHDFV

There's so much FL concepts in my brain I'm extremely normal about Foul Legacy. cLEARLY-

now imagine, if you will, the first time Childe brings home this small, floating Foul Legacy. he tucks him in his shirt to hide him from everyone as he hurries home, still debating whether he should show Legacy to you at all- only for the Abyssal creature to poke his head out when he hears you call out, zooming towards the sound of your voice and crashing into your shoulder with a delighted chirp. Childe runs into the room and almost dies from embarrassment when he sees Foul Legacy snuggling in your arms, but you're overjoyed with your new fuzzy friend!! he loves following you around the house, either floating next to you or sitting on your shoulder, lightly messing with your hair and letting out adorable peeps and squeaks. Childe's a bit jealous really- better reassure him with a tight hug and some kisses <3

and YES, the fateful day you and Childe trick him into munching a slice of lemon will go down in your respective histories- Foul Legacy squeals and screeches in disgust, pawing at his tongue as dismayed whines slip from his maw. he glares at you, then Childe, and promptly flies over and buries his face in your hair to sulk, his little claws gripping the fabric of your shirt. you pat his back, letting out an apologetic laugh, but he simply huffs and refuses to look at either of you- he'll forgive YOU soon enough, because he loves you, but he can see Childe grinning mischievously, like he plans on giving him more lemons!!

Childe ends up with a few bites that day

September 8th, 10:47 PM

The phone receiver was clenched in my fist, pressed up to my ear, as several armed guards surrounded me. “How’s jail going for you, Dazai?”, the gruff voice on the other end of the phone asked. I sighed of tedium and weariness, my nail tapping against the plastic of the receiver. 

“It’s sooooooo boring, Kunikida, and so cramped as well, I can barely stretch”, I complained, hearing Kunikida groan at my words. “I suppose that’s your fault, isn’t it?”, Kunikida told me, sounding annoyed by my voice alone. 

“And the food is bland, the sheets are itchy, ugh, it sucks!”, I whined, running my free hand through my brunette locks. It had been sixteen long days since I’d called Kunikida, and how painfully my tainted heart ached for him and his aggressive yet gentle touch. 

“It’s a prison, Dazai, what did you expect?!”, Kunikida scolded me, I could practically hear his scowl. “I at least expected better quality from how fancy this thing is!”, I groaned, before I let out a chasmic breath. 

“At least the clothes are comfy” “you mean your prison uniform?” “yeah”, me and Kunikida went back and forth. It was nice to chat with him after so long, yet, I just wished he was sitting in front of me, in front of a glass pane, like how they did it in popular western films. 

I missed seeing him on a daily basis, it was utter torture just not being in front of him, looking into his celadon eyes, just zoning out into a somnific trance as he talked about everything, from how his coffee was too hot this morning, or how his favourite hair tie broke, and that he’d have to buy a packet of brand new ones. 

“So, what happened today at the agency?”, I asked, obviously mystified. “Well, there was a stray dog outside the office-“ “ew”, I interrupted Kunikida to put in my own opinion. “Don’t interrupt me you bastard-“ “hey, your time’s up”, a nearby guard nudged my shoulder with the end of his gun. 

I sighed, before I spoke into the receiver one last time. “I gotta go, Kunikida”, I huffed, hearing Kunikida sigh in disappointment on the other end of the line. “Ah, I see, well, I’ll see you later, then”, Kunikida spoke, before his line went blank. 

I got up from my seat, as one of the guards started covering up my vision with a thin piece of black fabric. The only thing I could think of in my head was Kunikida, knowing that I’d get to see him soon, very soon. 

October 19th, 9:52 AM

The golden rays of the sun shone through the gap in my curtains, down on my figure that was buried deep inside my futon. I was supposed to be at work, slacking off at the Detective Agency, but I couldn’t even bring myself to get up. 

My eyelids didn’t even flutter, I just laid there, motionless, not even thinking of an anything. I stared at my door, waiting, for anything. I remembered when I used to sleep in, and Kunikida would make his way down to my apartment, and pound on the door till I woke up. 

That wasn’t going to happen anymore. I turned over, looking up at the ceiling. Moments like this made me remember that the world is just as terrible as it’s always been. A ringing sound echoed in my ears, from the silence, I just stared, and stared, until—

My phone rang. I groaned, the loud sound made ripples of pain crash down in my skull. I grabbed my phone, looking at who on earth was even bothering to call me. Atsushi. I cringed, before I set my phone aside. He’d probably ask where I was, what I was doing, why I wasn’t at the goddamn ADA. 

I hid myself deep inside my futon, curling into a ball. I didn’t want to talk to anyone, no, not anymore. I’d have to say goodbye after the phone call as well, not see you later, I didn’t want to say that, I didn’t want to see anyone. 

Sixteen long days, turned into one long, gruelling month. The sound of Kunikida’s voice had faded from my skull, I didn’t remember what he even sounded like, I could remember, but I couldn’t bring myself to listen to any voicemail he left me before— ugh. 

The ringing of my phone had stopped, but nothing in my head would stop. The world was always grey and sallow to me, but when Kunikida was around, it seemed more colourful, more brazen. I sighed, before I grabbed my phone. 

I dialled Kunikida’s number, something I memorized from always wanting to annoy him. I heard my phone buzz, waiting for a call, knowing that it would go to an empty call, but I didn’t care, I couldn’t care. 

Soon, Kunikida’s voice echoed into my ear, yet, I knew he wasn’t talking to me. “This is Kunikida, I apologize if I’m busy at the moment, I’ll get back to you”. A beep rang into my ears, sending piercing waves of pain into my skull. 

I didn’t know what to say. “Hey… it’s Dazai, I… I just wanted to say that I miss you, and nothing feels the same anymore—“. I stopped. My head felt like it was spinning. I dropped my phone onto the ground, just staring up at the ceiling. 

I didn’t have the chance to tell Kunikida all of that, now I was just saying it to my phone, as if he’d answer later. I felt my eyes grow lachrymose, as salty tears clung to my lash-line. I let out a shaky breath, before I let my tears fall. 

Why did this even hurt so much? Me and Kunikida weren’t even official, we were never officially boyfriends, we were only friends with benefits. I’d always considered him a boyfriend, yet I’d always dream of us standing at the alter one day. 

I wondered if Kunikida thought of me while he was on his deathbed, I wondered if he wished he could’ve said the same sentences to me. I struggled to hold back sobs, as I cried into the sleeve of my half unbuttoned shirt. 

I looked out the window from the gap in my curtains, at the street. There was no solution to my pain, like a math equation, one that Kunikida could certainly solve. 

He’d solve my problems.
