soooo i have been writing an angel!alastor au. it's got nothing to do with the actors au oneshot (possibly going to add more to it such as the episode 5 lucifer rivalry, episode 6, and the episode 8 battle!!!) but i'm really excited to finish it up! i spent all night writing and it's not my best work but i am REALLY excited for it.

i did some screenshot redraws for my angel version of alastor!!! i'm not the greatest at drawing and i have shaky hands and use a finger and phone to draw so don't judge me too hard (can you tell i'm self conscious abt my art lmao)

he's a virtue angel meaning he ranks exactly in the middle of the 9-rank angel hierarchy (seraphim are highest, angels are lowest). adam is a dominion ranking just above him. he controls the air/the sky/the weather (mainly creates storms around the time people are leaving work cuz he likes being an inconvenience lmao) which he manipulates for his radio waves

i really like how the blue/gold colour palette looks on him!!! his powers are mostly still the same, but instead of shadows he uses clouds :D he still has a flair for the dramatics and showmanship. he's still a radio host and uses a radio filter. he's a little shithead. he breaks the rules, does everything he can to annoy adam and lute (both of whom he hates) and is the only angel not afraid of showing up physically in hell in heaven's embassy. he still has his petty dad rivalry with lucifer but instead it's about him being the helpful angel in her life lucifer could never be lmao

he's mostly the same but he doesn't act on his sadistic tendencies nearly as much (and he hasn't killed anyone... yet... he's just thought about it a lot). he still has a weird sense of morality which is why he hates adam so much. if he was to kill someone and get himself kicked out of heaven like lucifer, adam would be the first one he kills lmao.

he's a lot better at manipulation than demon!alastor. he appears really caring and kind towards charlie and the rest of the hotel, even offering to free angel of his contract (because angels hold that ability) but it's mostly just manipulative tactics he's using to get entertainment. he doesn't particularly care either way if sinners get redeemed, but it sure is entertaining to watch her try! he actually kind of wants sinners to be redeemable purely for the chaos that would unfold if sera and adam found out. when you've been alive ten thousand years, the same old mundane routine can get a little boring!
