I'm thinking about Dick and the other batkids never openly disagreeing/arguing with Bruce in front of other capes/non bats, and what an abrupt and startingly change it must be for anyone to suddenly be considered family and watching the arguments and fights and petty drama they all have with each other in private. I'm just imagining Clark being stunned the first time he hears, sweet, loyal, obedient Dick call Bruce a dumb bitch who he hopes chokes on his over overinflated ego and self righteous, because this is why everyone hates you B!

Clark is equally stunned when Dick, at breakfast (brunch for anyone else) the next morning is chatting cheerfully with Bruce and the rest of the family, and gives Bruce a quick kiss on the cheek on his way out the door. The whiplash alone leaves Clark gaping senselessly.

The whiplash comes from Clark realizing that Dick wasn’t lying one bit when he said both sentences 🤣
