Nuance: I only respond directly with disagreement to beloved mutuals/friends I know will know where I am coming from and it will depend if I KNOW they are okay with being responded to publicly that way, if they don't, I don't, but I also don't vague post about it if I am not willing to talk to them directly

For random people I don't know:

If I disagree with some points but agree with most points of the post, I reblog, point out the one I disagree, explain why, but make clear I agree with most.

If its all stuff I just disagree I shrug and move on

If its all stuff I disagree and it bothers me, but its not a common thing in the fandom, I bitch about it to a friend

Its all stuff I disagree, it bothers me and it IS common in the fandom, I post about how much I hate a lot of people believe it, but don't call out OP, because its really not OP's thing only, it has to be a trend I dislike...

i actually need to know people's thoughts on this because at least in my experience the answer to this has drastically changed since i was on tumblr in the 2010s and its driving me fucking insane

*im talking about fandom takes specifically. not someone being horribly evil about a real-life issue or or blatantly factually incorrect. literally just harmless fandom disagreements or differing interpretations of a text/character/etc.

billy batson au/scenario where billy gets caught up in an incident as billy himself and his only way to not literally BLEED OUT and DIE is to transform back as captain marvel (And chooses to stay as him. how will he survive if he detransforms back anyways? he can't risk it yet,)

So. times go by, captain marvel hasn't detransformed in maybe a month or two and it's sorta? starting to affect billys own body for some reason. But not enough for the kid to die,, And then , in one of the missions that most of the main justice league members have to join in, a magical rune/spell/whatever is casted onto them to show the day all of them will individually die (with diana and superman probably having the most amount of time out of everyone, and with batman surprisingly having 31:19:03 years, hours and minutes to his name left(yeah, even batman himself was rather surprised at that)) for the thrill of it.

but, it isn't fate, they could still survive if they change any little thing. if they get help or not. it's not set in stone!!

and so to show that one of the timers could go off at any moment. Like. some of the timers just cut to zero even if there were a few more years to its name and they'll immediately kick the bucket. or like their heads explode. and their lives r on a gamble to hope that their own timers won't get chosen to be the next to be resetted. so all of their timers start ticking, as they fight their way through the battle they're fighting in

even after they win, the timers don't go away , so they're up in the watchtower, the annoying tick of each minute getting louder and louder in their ears, and having a meeting until they realize

captains timer is only ones that isn't ticking? so they look over to cm's timer and see,

00:00:04. Four minutes left. what? why is he literally almost on deaths door? metaphorically. I mean

but thats not all, it's not even going down. minute after minute, it's like it's stuck in stasis which is .. weird???? and like captain is sorta sweating bullets because like oooooh crumbs. Oh gods

it’s interesting how no religion (with all the caveats the use of that word entails) can resist making cosmological and scientific claims, and that this is true even for very recently invented religions that ought to know the risk of their claims getting debunked is very high. if I were going to start a religion, I would at least make sure it wouldn’t be debunked in my lifetime.

as someone from argentina, can you please share how things are in your country with franco now in f1? and like how fast things have changed and the hype he got, the difference between f2 and f1 etc? i'm so curious to know, i assume he'll head back home after the brazil gp since there's a bit of a break and argentina is right there. i'm picturing pure chaos

oh it's INSANE the amount of support he gained in two months. he already was pretty well-known in argentina after fans pushed a campaign to get him sponsors for f2 last year. he wasn't going to be able to jump from f3 to f2 until argentinian fans came through and started making noise. when franco came there was a hundred people outside his hotel. bizarrap's dad saw the campaign and the rest is history

but while thousands of argentinians followed his f2 races, the vast majority of them already were motorsport fans. now, in f1, EVERYONE is supporting him, even people who hadn't watched a single f1 race before. right before the f1 announcement franco had 552k followers on instagram. now he has 3.2 million !!!!!

i've overheard people talking about him at the supermarket and the doctor's waiting room ??!&# which is crazy. i haven't seen something like this for an argentinian athlete in a long while. he said he hates the messi comparisons but i can see this worship getting near that level in the future if all goes well

they're planning a banderazo for interlagos so watch out for hundreds of argentinians flags. it's gonna be insane

i think its funny because he would be such a sweetie if he actually had any social awareness, which he does not. he walks away in the middle of conversations, refuses to even try new things if he doesn't like it or doesn't care, either doesn't look you in the eyes once or just STARES without saying anything, and he's just completely stone-faced most of the time. he likes to touch but he hates being touched (unless it's leo because he's used to it, but even then he'll just bite him if he annoys him enough). his tastes are so particular that they're nearly impossible to glean, like he'll gladly just starve if they dont get the food that he likes. he genuinely does not understand that its rude to call people stupider than him. he will not acknowledge you if you call for him, and he's not deaf or anything. he's just like that. you cant keep secrets from him and he cant keep secrets for you.

ok one thing that irks me is when ppl call hinata older than komaeda (or chiaki/chihiro older than anyone in their respective class etc), but a lot of different school systems worldwide use january 1st to determine school year and not everyone knows japan uses april 2nd instead so its an understandable and easy enough mistake to make

but when people call hinata taller than komaeda????? especially in fic when hinatas topping???? i know what ur doing and i hate it
