this goes for all of his incarnations, but olive would have two wishes she'd choose between: one happy, one melancholy.

for the happy one? she would want him to have at least forty-eight hours where he just relaxes and takes care of himself. i know he always wants to be on the move- saving planets- but he needs a break!! sit down, have a hot bath, and each some fish and chips or something!!!

for the melancholy one? she would wish that he manages to get some peace after she eventually dies. yeah, it'll be sad, but she wants him to see it more as a 'im glad that i met her' type situation rather than an 'i wish she was still here' kind of deal

🌒 What's your sleeping situation look like with your F/O?

it is an absolute mess. its already extremely hard to get him to relax, but he will eventually need to sleep, so olive just has to wait it out. (warm drinks, cuddling, and lots of blankets definitely help speed along the process!)

once he's finally laying down, olive curls into his side with her knee atop his to not only apply dpt, but also to discourage him from getting up and running around more. after that, he is putting his lanky limbs everywhere!!!!!! he wants her legs resting on his hips so that he can run his hands over her spine, then he wants her directly on top of him so that he can squish her directly against his chest. he also likes spooning her and will throw blankets and pillows around the whole time as he gets comfortable and figures out how he wants to cuddle.

it probably takes like 2 hours for him to finally fall asleep. half of olive's body will be on top of his, he'll be pressing her head to his chest, and their limbs are intertwined like spaghetti. it's a little too hot and the doctor is directly breathing into her ear, but you take what you can get when ur husband is an eccentric alien

bonus- if atlas is thrown in the mix, the doctor will happily lay on his back and let both olive and their son rest on either side of his chest. for some reason, he struggles to relax for olive, but he will do anything for his son. atlas also likes when his parents are curled around either side of him with atlas lying in the middle of the lil cocoon <3

Run Streak Vol 2: Well, the Weather SUCKS

Against better judgment, I summoned myself to run. Despite rain. HEAVY rain. A shorter distance to get myself back in the game and to avoid getting completely drowned.

Will attempt 9 days to start and if I don't feel entirely awful (or sick of the weather, which my father delightfully informed me today would likely continue to be of the less desirable persuasion), I'll continue to 14. But 9 to start. That feels doable.

Phantom kidnapped Lois to fight Superman.

Danny wants a good fight since he is stuck in DC verse.

Lois wasn't sure as she looked at the young Meta boy, maybe Jon's age, who seemed to be really happy. He didn't seem like a villain.

And after a short talk, she learned it. The boy, Phantom, had kidnapped her next to her sidekick, Clark Kent,(his words) in public to get Superman to fight him.

After all, any time Clark saw her getting kidnapped, Superman came.

He says something about Superman playing with the rest, and he wants to join. He missed a good fight!

Lois wanted to laugh; it's kind of cute, as she noticed Phantom had just kidnapped her so Superman could go all out in a fight!

Yeah, that won't work. Clark has super hearing and knows the truth, so the poor boy won't get into a fight.

inspired by fifteen trying to say shit and getting censored by the nanny filter, here’s a complete table of every doctors who and whether or not they use strong language

1 - no

2 - yeah

3 - rarely, but accurately and directly, in a dignified and sarcastic fashion

4 - ABSOLUTELY all the time. the tardis filter barely copes. we’ve all seen the K-9 clip, that’s what the character sounds like without the kids show censorship

5 - no. does he look like a man who swears to you? maybe some esoteric combination of words like fuckadoodle shitnozzles

6 - yes. duh

7 - he doesn’t enjoy it, but occasionally, sparingly, when the situation calls for it

8 - definitely . not too frequently, though. for emphasis, or for a laugh

9 - that man is a working class northerner from the 2000s and a jaded war veteran. draw your own conclusions. he knows elaborate insults you’ve never heard of

10 - cheeky little ‘fuck’ here and there with rose & martha, ALL THE TIME with donna, and swearing like hell when he starts going off the rails in the s4 specials

11 - lol no. well… he’s got an example to set to the companions that he treats like children. he’s a storybook character and he wants to be perceived as an imaginary friend, a kind almost victorian whimsical gentleman in a bowtie, and a person like that wouldn’t use crude language. with river song though? now THAT’S a whole other story

12 - the scene in dark water with the psychic paper tells us everything we need to know. twelve in series 8 was straight up pg13ified malcolm tucker. shuttity-up-up-up without the tardis filter sounds like fuckity-bye. he swears liberally, frequently, unsparingly and unceremoniously, at everyone without distinction, including clara’s students at coal hill. personally i think that’s one hell! of a fucking! bird!

I think the thing I love the most about Boom is that it’s such a simple but effective premise. No aliens, limited special effects, one simple set that’s more or less just a pile of rocks but still choc full of tension. Steven Moffat came back with the promise of Disney money and used precisely none of it lmao.

Say what you will about him but Moffat knows what doctor who is really about! Fucking around and finding out in some old quarry.
