Okay, this is probably the only au for X-Men Evolution I'll make that isn't a reboot/reimagining. This idea, which I'm sure plenty of people have had, is this:

What if someone from our world/a darker version of our world ended up in the show?

Somehow the reader, who is from what I will call Earth 2020, ends up in X-Men Evolution, possibly dying on Earth 2020 and somehow being dropped into the series proper. And for the reader, they're a mix of emotions, but one stands out the most: Sheer, utter PANIC. They're likely dead, aren't anywhere they've been before, don't have any papers or documents, and are in a world set in 2000 where superpowers are real and adults try to kill kids on a near daily basis. Bby is going through a panic attack as they check what's with them, finding that the good news is they had all their saved money with them in their satchel, but nothing else of much use besides a calligraphy pen, pepper spray, and a ticket with a date that hasn't even happened in this world.

Reader knows they could try to get involved, could pretty much do whatever they wanted, help or hurt or anything they want with the knowledge they have... But... they'd rather do the right thing. They compile notes, writing down every major event of the series for both the X-Men and Brotherhood, warning them about things like Apocalypse, Sentinels, Hydra, Weapon X being back in commission, pointing out the things that should be avoided, such as brainwashing your daughter, tossing children off of cliffs, threatening a bunch of teenagers, manipulating everyone, etc. ... but reader also mentions ways they can change the worst of it from happening and begging them to help Laura and the Morlocks. And then adds final notes, the bad things that could happen throughout the next twenty years, from 9/11, the wars in Europe and the Middle East, the pandemic of Covid, the wildfires in North America and Australia, terrorist attacks in different parts of the globe, tsunamis and hurricanes and tornadoes, pretty much every disaster, they list it, when it was supposed to happen, and pleads to stop it, or alert someone who could... By the time reader is done writing down every disaster and crisis that they remember, they have piles of notes, even some with theories. And finally, the reader sends the notes, praying for the best. Then they promptly go to hide out in some small town far away from everything, because they fear what happens if someone finds out how they know everything and where they're from... If it doesn't end well for other people, who's to say it would end well for reader?

The X-Men and Brotherhood get the notes, and are more or less shocked, because what they have is about twenty years worth of disasters listed, with notes about what specifically happens regarding them. But, for some reason, they decide to listen, wondering if perhaps the writer of the notes was like Destiny, a mutant who could see the future... And somehow, things go better. Less tossing kids around and off of things, helping the Morlocks find a safer place to live, freeing Laura, and destroying the Sentinels before they are finished, it all happens, and everyone is relieved to know that they've avoided whatever was supposed to happen. Yet... where is the person who warned them? So begins the search for reader...

And reader ends up in Bayville, somehow. Apparently they're now in the foster system, developed a mutation (they wonder how that's possible, how would that work, they aren't from that world- ) and so far have been doing their best to get by. It helped that they lived through what was basically a dystopian world, since they know useful tricks for their survival, and with a mutation, hopefully that can keep them alive for just a bit longer.. They end up in the highschool, having to do everything in their power not to feel tense and have a break down. They're in the town where everyone else is in, they only have themself to rely on, and they have too much knowledge of everything around them, plus an ability that could alert others of them. They're glad they helped, elated even, but... anxiety still worms its way inside them. They don't know how to deal with their own thoughts and the world around them, every bit of knowledge sending them spiraling. Because if someone finds out it was them... then what? When do people ever take things like that well, that someone knew, that they're from a whole other world, and that they haven't done much else to do anything? Reader stays alert and tired, but keeps going. Besides all the crushing fear and loneliness, the 2000s are a lot better than 2020: lower cost of living, lower prices on food, less gun violence, less rioting, less noise...

Then, I guess with the help of Caliban or Jean, maybe even Xavier, the reader is discovered. And the two groups have to take a minute. The person who wrote the notes... is some scrawny teenager who trembles whenever someone talks to them, and jumps at the slightest noise? It's confusing. They were expecting someone older, maybe a time traveler, not... whoever this is. And the moment any of them try to approach, the kid just gets wide eyes and tries to get lost, avoiding anyone in the school like the plague. But, they finally are able to corner them and talk... And what they find is... terrifying.

From what they're able to find out from the reader, who's trembling like a leaf and trying not to cry, they're not from around there, they saw things happen, bad things, and thought if they gave a warning, it might help. And what Jean and/or Xavier can read from their mind is downright nightmarish, images of violence and memories of hate, of people hurting them, of destroying others, of a world filled with violence ad wars and plagues running rampant, anything and everything seemingly out to end their survival... Even how they ended up there, a hazy, near-forgotten memory of water and silt in their lungs and the world fading to black, a hand holding forcing them under... And all they can feel for them is sympathy, empathy in some cases, horror at what absolute H*ll they lived through... They offer aid, thanking them for helping them...

And the reader is just... relieved, that no one wants them dead. Hoping that this world truly doesn't want them dead, that they can breathe and not fear for their life...

The characters are glad that the reader is on their side, and isn't some evil genius bent on the destruction of mutants... but it isn't easy to know that the person who helped them lived in a world that sounded and looked like H*ll, and then eventually died, in one of the worst ways to go... And they can't help but feel a little protective of them, a little worried. Sure, their new ally is also a mutant, but they also barely know anything about their powers or how to handle normalcy, used to fighting for themself among peers... Not to mention that their new friend had to explain the reasons they kept a calligraphy pen with them, and the reason scared them, because who knew a fancy ink pen could be so dangerous-

Over time, they all grow to be platonic yandere-ish, if not fully platonic yandere. Reader helped them, it's only fair they repay that kindness. And they don't have to worry about them going back to the h*llscape they called home. It's not like they were going to let them go back, even if they could. Best to not think too deep on leaving, though. They aren't leaving, ever...

(I've been wondering about this idea for awhile now, and I plan to make a playlist for this au, simply because why not? Expect plenty of Panic! At The Disco, and a song from Lemon Demon😊💛🧡)

Bonus:

Reader, staring at the handful of adults for the Brotherhood: For Best Parent of the Brotherhood, at least in the original timeline, I think?, I nominate... Lance

Adults: What? Why him? He's a teenager!

Reader: Well, originally, Mr. Lehnsherr seems to only showed up when he wants something, instead of being there to help his kids, let alone everyone else, and leaves the kids on their own, Mystique had threatened them, left them on their own with no supervision, and tried to toss children off of cliffs, and Mr. Victor doesn't have kids as far as I know, but if he is related to Mr. Logan, I'm not sure he had been a good parent or brother or whatever he is, due to capturing him for the person who put a control chip in his head, and also trying to kill him. So, that leaves the other acolytes. Who are never here. And also tried to kill the kids. Yeah, so, that leaves the actual Broterhood teens. And the only one who has acted anywhere near enough to keeping them alive and taking care of the group's needs is... Lance. So, by default, if not by actual execution, the winner of Best Brotherhood Parent is Lance. Good job👍

Adult Brotherhood Members: Wait, we did WHAT?!

Acolytes: Thank heavens we aren't parents

Erik: I did WHAT to Wanda?!

Mystique: I tricked my own daughter, and lost both her and Kurt?!

Reader: That might only be a theory, I'm not sure...

Reader: Well... in my defense, I only thought it was a theory... Um... Should I say sorry, or congratulations?

Hello, Gerec! I hope you are doing okay! I go to AO3 almost every day, to see how Kink Meme fest is going. I'm curios if you took someone's prompt to write a fic. Have a good day :)

I have! In fact I have 4 fics on the go at the moment, though I'm not sure they'll all be done by the end of the Fest. The writing has been slow going, partly because porn is hard to write (imo) and also, I haven't found that one prompt/idea that really lights my Muse on fire. I had that in last year's Fest, and because I was in such a writing zone it really helped me get more than one fic done :D

Don't worry if you haven't seen more stuff posted yet; the works aren't revealed until Oct. 15 so I'm sure more will pop up closer to that date. Also, if there are others like me they may not make claims on things until they're sure they have something to post, so there might be more fics being worked on than what's currently flagged as 'claimed'...

hi i am having a lot of thoughts about Magneto (especially First Class) so here it goes

• Erik has been alone ever since the war ended and Shaw stopped experimenting on him. He was 15. When he gets found by Charles, he was 32.

• If Shaw didn't tell Erik he himself was a mutant, he probably thought he was the only one. He probably learned about them while hunting down Shaw because he wasn't surprised when he saw Emma's diamond form. Charles had the LUXURY of learning about other mutant's existence by meeting Raven.

• Erik was probably only ever hugged by his mother until he met his Polish wife, so he went over 30 years without hugs.

• Peter was 7 during the events of First Class. Just needed to say that.

• Erik must've been so happy to be a dad. He loved Nina so much. He was ready to change. He sang to his daughter. He couldn't be a father to Peter but he had a daughter now he could catch up with. She couldn't be older than 10 when she died.

• The first time Erik said "sorry" (in the script) was to Charles when he put on Shaw's helmet.

• In the scene where Erik interrupts Hank and Raven from kissing, it was very shortly after he joined the group, so he had never seen Raven's true form yet, and he told her "if I looked like you I wouldn't change a thing."

• Charles was Erik's first friend. At 32 years old. Just think about how freaking sad that is omg.

• also this one is slightly random but since Erik lived through ww2, in like about 20 years, he would be totally dead. Idk if that makes sense but if xmen comics universe is similar to our universe then they would also be in 2020 or something like that and so Erik would be too old. Just a thought that i think about often

ok so cherik. I know actors who play this sort of thing up are just enjoying the attention it gives them, but it still feels really good to be vindicated. I watched xmen first class while being totally unconnected to any social media or forums and I *still* got hit in the face with how gay they were. i had a totally organic "oh they fAWKin" experience and it's great to find out mcavoy/fassbender were in on it.

I love a little 2010s “the studio/producers won’t let it be gay so all we have is the actors saying they loved for it to be gay and were playing it that way.” It’s really all we had for a long long time before this new 2020s era

Summary: You work as a stripper who can do so much more if you want to. You have powers that you'd love to show off but can't because you were always told to conceal them. One day, Bucky comes into your club and you don't handle it well.

You stare at yourself in the mirror debating whether or not you want to continue this job. It pays very well and gets you out of debt but you hate the way it makes you feel about not only yourself but about the other people you work with. There is a whole side to yourself that you have to keep hidden, and this job forces that part of yourself deep down inside of you.

You turn to examine the outfit they forced you into and notice the wings on your back. They are tattooed on for the time being but they are beautiful. Oh, how you wish to bring them out. Customers seem to love the look of them which is why you wear stuff that shows off your back. Your entire body is on display for people to look at but they always gravitate toward the wings.

“Angel, are you ready?” your manager asks.

“I guess,” you say and fix your lipstick.

“We got a large crowd today. Make me proud,” he grins.

You choose not to comment on that. You’d love nothing more than to punch him in his face and give him a taste of his medicine but you force that side of you down. You walk out of the dressing room and onto the main room where there are hundreds of hungry eyes devouring you. Thankfully, the manager of the place doesn't let the men touch you or the other girls.

The music starts playing so you begin your planned dance. You’ve got this beat down like the back of your hand at this point, but it still gets the same praise from the first time you performed it. You hook your leg over the pole in the middle of the stage and swing around it before dipping down. Whistles sound from all over the room but you focus on the bright lights to distract yourself.

You don’t like to look in the crowd because the men who watch you are predators. They think all women are beneath them and you can usually tell who has bad intentions with the way they’re looking at you. However, this time, you scan the crowd. Most of the men are wearing fake suits to look expensive while some of them are silent partners. They’re the ones who sit in the corner, drink their bottom-shelf whiskey, and just enjoy the show.

There is one person in particular that catches your eye. Someone you know and work with. That’s been your fear while working in the entertainment industry. You’ll be doing a dance seductively and end up seeing someone you know in the crowd. However, this person isn’t just a person you know… he’s your crush.

Bucky Barnes. What the hell is he doing here? You’re going to be sick. You have to remain professional and finish your dance without letting Bucky mess you up. He knew you worked as a stripper and a dancer but he never really saw you in action. He respected your privacy too much to watch you while you’re at work. However, there is a mission and he was sent to come grab you.

Even if you weren't a stripper, he still thought you were the most beautiful girl in the world. He loves the way your body is shaped and the kind of personality you have. The best part of your body is your legs. He has a weakness for women’s legs, and yours is no exception. He tries not to let his mind wander to what could happen if he allows himself to enjoy this so he quickly looks away from you to give you some sort of privacy.

As soon as your dance is done, you quickly leave the stage and go back to the dressing room. You bypass the vanity and straight to the trash can. You grab it and immediately throw up into it from nerves and shock. Your spit dissolves the bottom of the trash can so that the contents spill out of it and onto the floor.

“Shit,” you gasp and look around the room for something to clean it up.

Not only do you have magical wings you can sear onto your back like a tattoo, but you have acid saliva. Most days you can control the acidity of it but when you’re highly nervous and in a panic, you can’t control it. You can still do other things like kissing and such since you can control your acid to make it so that it’s not lethal or dangerous to humans at all.

Bucky follows you backstage and notices you in the corner trying to clean your mess. He sees the wings on your back and wishes they were out. He loves the sight of your wings. They look like an insect’s wings but you make it work. He sees your robe hanging on the coat hanger next to the door and grabs it to cover you up.

You get up and turn but jump when you see Bucky standing in the doorway. You use your hands to try and cover yourself but it’s not working.

“Oh, I didn’t see you there,” you stutter.

“Here,” he offers and wraps the robe around your body.

“Thanks,” you whisper and pull it tight against your body. “What are you doing here?”

“Steve asked me to bring you in.”

“Oh. He could have called,” you say and tuck your hair behind your ear.

“Not where he is, no. I’m sorry for barging in on you but I wouldn’t have unless it was important.”

“Right. Um, what’s the mission?”

“I’ll tell you on the way.”

“Let me get dressed.”

Bucky turns to leave the dressing room to give you some privacy but stops at the door.

“When are you going to quit your job? You didn’t look happy up there.”

“What else am I gonna do? My powers get me in trouble. Men seem to love my tattoo and my manager says I wouldn't fit in anywhere else.”

“I know this isn’t my place, and feel free to tell me to fuck off, but what he says is complete bullshit. Tony has a facility. He’ll help you control your powers. I, for one, think that your wings are better out than hidden. We’ll take care of you. I’d hate to see you waste your life away here. You’ve got a beautiful one and this place isn’t helping you.”

With that, he leaves. Your cheeks heat up and a smile works its way onto your face. Your tattoo magically comes to life and your wings manifest as real ones attached to your back. They flutter happily and you chuckle at their enthusiasm.

“Okay, calm down. Maybe he does have a point.”

Maybe Bucky has a point. You’re miserable here whether you make good money or not. It’s time to let your wings free and soar to your highest potential.

Yellow may not be His color but he looks amazing nonetheless, also this era he gets to be a cat dad with his speedster bf so it's an overall win

Right below that one is Excalibur Gambit debuting in 2020

I wasn't a fan of this comic but he looked very nice in it, but that's probably thanks to Marcus To drawing him. Also Remy looking like a thief in a DnD party is always a plus
