Happy Blorbo Blorbosday, Bug! I have two questions today, answer one or both, whatever feels comfortable <3
1. Imagine your ocs in that awkward situation of having to introduce yourself to the new class. What would they say about themselves?
2. What religious and/or philosophical beliefs does your oc hold?
Happy Blorbo Blorbosday!
I'll answer the Second one, because my brain immediately went to Clementine, my fallen angel character! Probably because his title evokes a certain idea about the kind of person he is/was. You can find an excerpt of him here to kinda get a better idea of his personality.
I suppose Clementine believes/knows the gods exist because he's personally worked with them before, but does he have Faith in them? No, of course not.
Before he betrayed his superiors, he was a goody-two-shoes who pointed out those who were insufficient or slacked off. His role was a guardian angel of sorts, and he went on to protect/guide people through their dreams. Acting like a door-to-door salesman reciting the same stuff he's been told for thousands of years, just some shallow things he found himself believing less and less as he began questioning his purpose.
But that was the extent of his powers: he wasn't allowed to "tamper with mortal affairs," whether good or bad. All he could do was sit and watch while give his monologue.
He couldn't recruit enough angels, his power was dwindling, and he soon realized it was because he wasn't "doing things right." Where his colleagues used their powers to gaslight, gate-keep, and girlboss, Clementine was having none of that. He cared more about his influence/life purpose than numbers. So he amped things up: he started to pull an anti-hero stunt and scare bad people via dreams, which made him feel useful + gained him more subscribers recruits. I.e., if an angel tells you "Hold on, I'll take care of your bully for you," then there's a high chance both you and the bully would start having faith in the gods' powers.
But this was "Bad publicity" and not very "On-brand" for heaven, for those who found out his stunt. Clem became this "problem guy" who didn't fit into the same ideals the others had. He was outcasted and began noticing favoritism among the other angels. You know, stuff that makes your blood Boil in a corporate setting. But the scariest part of all: There is no HR in heaven! DUN DUN DUNN!
So where does that leave Clementine? Booted out of heaven and living out the rest of his days as a mortal. He could redeem himself and everything would be forgotten, but it's very unlikely Clem would want to forgive and forget the same people who went against their own beliefs and thought his ideas stupid.
So he roamed the mortal realms in search of a purpose and helped a few good people along the way. But then he asked himself if it was even worth his time saving people if the people he saved were just as corrupt as the rest. How was he to know who was "good" or "bad" by any standards, or even the standards he fled from? Yes, he was going through quite the mid-life crisis at the ripe age of 2000-something!
"The entire universe is made up of liars and hypocrites. What’s one more?" And so, our fallen angel decided to follow the path of hedonism until our story picks up.

Woke up with immense feelings about SQ, and a... vision of a theoretical scene in Season 2, if he'd actually been there
Okay, so, Curtain is doing some incredibly inadvisable stupid thing as a panic reaction to the compound being infiltrated (Shocking, I know /s) and the kids basically grab SQ and abduct him for a minute to ask some questions and figure out what to do.
(This is a hypothetical situation where Constance isn't whammied and the children all arrive together and of sound mind)
However, SQ is incredibly and inordinately terrified. Following every direction or light suggestion like they have a gun to his head.
They try and sort out what's going on, if he knows anything about Curtain's plan, where the adults are (They got separated), if he's okay, when the kid breaks down crying.
Now, they were slightly concerned because he seemed oddly scared of a group of kids he's at least tangentially met all of before and who are several years younger than him, and he kept cringing like he expected to be hit or screamed at.
At this point we find out the Curtain has swept and fiddled around with SQ's brain enough that he has no memory of the Institute and thinks he's just been living at the compound with his dad his whole life. And as such he's been indoctrinated that everyone from Outside is cruel and awful, and he really is scared out of his mind that the kids are going to hurt him

I feel like Wanda serves her purpose of explaining why Wade is the way he is. Also the thumb thing was pretty funny ngl
I agree! And at the same time, they're fairly similar too. Though Wanda can seem a bit more asshole-ey, it's usually in the stuff like. Starting shit for seemingly no reason. Other than that, she comes off as more antagonistic because of her framing as antagonistic to Wade specifically (like when we see montages of past Shabbat dinners, or her being suspicious of things Wade says).
Although frankly how they act during the Shabbat dinner and how their mother (Wendy) handles it is also just...fairly realistic to me? Like, sure. A bit of it felt dramaticized personally, but aside from that, it made sense for the characters' personalities. Both Wanda and Wade are (for lack of a better term) a bit childish, especially when it comes to each other. And, as someone who has a number of siblings, even when you're adults things can devolve into, well, childish arguments or fights. Whether she started anything or not (and despite the fork thing, a definite escalation of the situation, while one could tell Wade was trying not to engage at the beginning), you can see some realism in the way that Wendy pretty much becomes exasperated by the situation and focuses more on the fact that her kids are fighting at all than who started what. As a person who was once a younger person, I've also been on the receiving end of...dealing with your parent(s) seemingly branding the fight as a "everyone is being bad here" thing, even when you didn't escalate or start anything.
Or in short, that was a fairly real situation to me, down to how the characters acted (especially given their personalities) and how they each chose to handle the situation. To me one can tell that it was at least partially based upon some real life experiences of people involved in the show.
And I'll be real with you anon. To me, Wanda's level of rudeness/assholeness during...the scene where she purposely ignores her mother asking her to help with Shabbat traditions, until she stops bothering to get Wanda to participate, is kind of no different to me than the level of rudeness/assholeness in the scene where Wade purposely mispronounces Pachacamac's name, until the echidna just gives up and allows him an "easier nickname" to use instead.
And ahsjsjwjsjs the thumb thing. I think I was largely uncomfortable looking at it, but all in all it was kind of funny 😂 I love that the creators thought well enough into their new characters (even side characters) to be able to include moments like that. Even if the Whipple family (excluding Pete) is closer by the end of the show, Wanda never stops being who she is and she never gives up on her rivalry with her brother just because everyone is on better terms now. I love it😂
Anyways, thank you for the ask, anon! 😊

@eglerieth replied to your post: Hello! I am here to ask about your Dior headcanons…
What’s your Galadriel headcanon?
Oh man, I didn’t see this!! Thank you for asking, i fully did not expect anyone to actually get far enough into the Dior post to see that let alone actually want to know. Sorry I’m two days late!
So! What we know about Galadriel in the Silmarillion:
She hated Fëanor but thought being a queen sounded pretty sweet/desired power
She’s named as one of the leaders of the Noldor across the Helcaraxë
Instead of founding her own kingdom (like she’d explicitly originally wanted) or moving in with her brother she got married and stayed in Doriath and learned a lot from Melian
Eventually Melian was like “hey so you should explain the weird ominous evil metaphysical cloud i can see hanging over the Noldor so i can explain about it to my husband bc he should really learn about whatever happened before it blows up in everybody’s faces” and Galadriel was like “yeah he probably should but i’m not telling”
At some point Galadriel asked Finrod why he wasn’t married yet
One time Melian casually foreshadowed Beren’s existence to Galadriel, who has no recorded response
That’s it. That’s literally all we know about what she was up to. She was super jazzed about the prospect of Ruling A Kingdom and then made friends with a queen and learned a bunch from her and… was still alive after the War of Wrath, and in between we have nothing.
We don’t know how she survived the Second Kinslaying, we can assume she made it to the Havens of Sirion but don’t know how she survived the Third Kinslaying let alone what she did/where she went after that… we don’t know what her reaction was to the death of her only remaining family member in Middle-earth, for which her cousins and the great-uncle in whose kingdom she lived were both partially responsible…
Like, that's weird, right? Galadriel is firmly established as someone bold and interested in being a ruler and stubborn as all get out, and then she… does nothing and everybody seems to forget she exists for several hundred years and some major political upheavals that should have personally affected her? It's not just me? That's really weird?
So, my Galadriel headcanon is that she’s inexplicably absent for most of the Quenta Silmarillion because she was deliberately erased/left out by the scribes writing things down because there was no way to acknowledge her presence in Doriath during and after Beren & Lúthien’s whole everything without getting into the messiest bit of Sindar-Noldor political tension that didn’t involve the Fëanorioni, because (again, headcanon) Galadriel Did Not Respond Well to her uncle getting her brother killed as a side effect of trying to get her cousin’s boyfriend killed and there was A Lot Of Tension for a while there (when you’ve got that kind of interpersonal tension between people who are both essentially Political Figures, i figure it’s probably going to turn into political tension unless they’re both trying very very hard to avoid that and potentially even then)
…and then after Thingol’s death a few years later, I think one of the primary contenders for Next Ruler of Doriath was Galadriel “Well I Came Here For A Kingdom In The First Place” Granddaughter-of-Olwë and also her husband is related to Thingol* and Lúthien’s clearly removed herself from contention so if the Sindar want a monarch who’s actually related to the last one they both qualify, it’s perfect and obviously Galadriel should be the next queen of Doriath (it is not obvious to everyone)
* on a side note, Celeborn is mentioned twice in the Quenta Silm: #1, Galadriel stays in Doriath because she’s marrying a “kinsman of Thingol,” while #2, shortly after Thingol’s death, Celeborn is referred to as a “prince of Doriath.” Not actual evidence, but it sure fits in nicely!
Like I said in the Dior post, I don’t think anything ever came to outright surface-level conflict; a civil war in Doriath is not getting left out of the Silmarillion. Tension between Galadriel and Thingol, though? and then between Galadriel and [various other contenders for the throne after Thingol, potentially including Dior himself when he arrived] that had everyone a little nervous? when she didn’t become queen and did (however begrudgingly) accept that Dior was the closest thing to a consensus pick and did survive the next several thousand years only to finally wind up as functional queen of most of the remaining Sindar despite eschewing the actual title? That I can see getting diplomatically left out of the histories, and explaining why she’s completely during the parts of the story where you’d think she’d be most involved.

「 ✦ Slytherin Boys' Reaction to Another Boy asking you to the yule ball : ✦ 」
[Mattheo Riddle / theodore Nott / lorenzo berkshire]
Mattheo Riddle :
Mattheo had been waiting for the right moment to ask you to the Yule Ball, rehearsing his words and planning the perfect approach. However, his plans were dashed when he heard that someone else had beaten him to it. Frustration and possessiveness surged through him, but he decided to take a mischievous yet playful approach to address the situation.
With a mischievous glint in his eyes, Mattheo orchestrated a playful kidnapping of the boy who had asked you to the Yule Ball before him. Confronting the boy, Mattheo made his feelings clear.
"So, I hear you've asked her to the Yule Ball. A bold move, I'll give you that," Mattheo started, his voice carrying a warning tone. "But let me make something very clear to you. She's not yours to take. She's mine. You've stepped into a game you don't understand, and trust me, you don't want to be on the losing side."
The boy, startled by the sudden turn of events, stammered out an explanation, but his gaze remained firm.
he spotted you across the ballroom, and with a contrite expression, he approached you, a single red rose in his hand.
"I'm sorry. I should have asked you to the ball first. You deserve better than the way I handled things," he admitted, his eyes filled with regret.
You smiled softly, accepting the rose. "If you had asked me first, I wouldn't have said yes to him."
His determination shone through as he promised, "I will make it up to you, baby. I promise."
Dancing under the shimmering lights, the tension between you melted away as you talked and laughed, reconnecting in a way that felt natural and comforting.
Stepping out onto the balcony for a breath of fresh air, Mattheo gazed into your eyes. "The moon is so beautiful tonight," you remarked, your eyes fixed on the sky.
"Yeah, very beautiful," Mattheo whispered, his gaze shifting from the moon to you. Unable to resist any longer, he leaned in, capturing your lips in a gentle, soft kiss under the moonlit sky—a kiss you had been waiting for, a moment of clarity and realization of mutual feelings that had been brewing for years.
theodore Nott ;
Theodore Nott's dark smirk intensified as he processed the news, his competitive spirit igniting a fire within him. He wasted no time and confronted the boy who dared to ask you to the Yule Ball, his aura exuding authority and a hint of danger.
"I hear you've extended an invitation to her for the Yule Ball. Interesting choice," Theodore began, his voice carrying a veiled threat. "But let's get something straight. She's not just any girl you can whisk away for a night. She's special, and she's mine to protect."
The boy, trying to defend himself, replied, "That’s for her to decide. I just thought she might want to go with me."
Theodore's eyes flashed with warning, his patience wearing thin. "Think again. You're treading on dangerous ground. If you know what's good for you, you'll rescind that invitation before things get messy."
The next day, when Theodore discovered that the boy hadn't complied, he took matters into his own hands. He arranged for the boy to have an unexpected "vacation" under Madam Pomfrey's care in the hospital wing, ensuring he wouldn't be attending the Yule Ball.
Approaching you at the ball with a sheepish smile, Theodore revealed, "He's not coming, love."
Confused, you asked, "What—why?"
"I made sure he won't be able to walk for a week," Theodore admitted, his tone apologetic. "I owe you an apology. I should have been the one to ask you to the ball first."
Surprised by his confession, you started to speak, but he gently cut you off. "No, I was just nervous to ask you."
"You—nervous?" you echoed in disbelief.
"Imagine that? Yeah, me too. I'm still trying to figure out what you have done to me, love," Theodore admitted, a genuine smile breaking through his earlier intensity.
Later that night, as you found a quiet corner of the ballroom, Theodore took your hand, apologizing again. Without hesitation, he leaned in, capturing your lips in a hungry kiss, his emotions laid bare in the passionate embrace.
Lorenzo berkshire :
Lorenzo watched from afar as the boy approached you, asking you to the Yule Ball. His jaw clenched as he felt a surge of jealousy and possessiveness. Determined to make his feelings known, he waited for the right moment to act.
During a Quidditch match, Lorenzo saw an opportunity. As the boy flew past, Lorenzo angled his broomstick just right, causing a collision that sent the boy tumbling. Everyone else thought it was an accident, but you knew better.
That night, Lorenzo sought you out, his expression dark with intensity. "You say yes to any other boy, and God help me for what I will do," he said, his eyes locked onto yours.
You smiled softly, meeting his gaze. "If you had asked me, I would have never said yes to him from the start, Enzo."
On the day of the ball, Lorenzo didn't leave your side, his hands possessively on your waist as you danced. "Call down, Enzo," you said gently, trying to soothe his intense emotions.
"I can't, not when I can't get the face of that stupid boy asking you first out of my mind. I'm sorry," Lorenzo admitted, his voice filled with regret.
You continued dancing, trying to distract him. As the music swirled around you, Lorenzo suddenly pulled you towards a secluded area, his hunger and desire evident in his eyes. Pressed against a tree, he kissed you passionately, his emotions overflowing.
You gently reminded him that you were there with him and no one else, calming him down from his intense emotions from time to time throughout the night.
