His fingers twitched where they rested on his knee. He did not react outwardly, but something in his chest shifted. Something unyielding and cold, something he had not known could be touched.

Such a ridiculous, immoderate nickname to be directed at someone like him, but when spoken by such a sweet voice, created by her own lips, Indra feels a wave of ethereal fire spread through his being. All his other children call him "Father"—where could the little one have gotten such an idea?

Indra, the man who had mastered war, who had crushed the wills of men without so much as a thought, allowed himself to be defeated.

-I am sitting still,- he muttered, voice quieter than usual.
