I wrote this as a teen struggling with self-loathing to a ridiculous degree. It became a personal anthem in the following years and helped guide me on a long journey to actually liking myself. Hope it has a similar impact on anyone listening who needs a pick-me-up!

Dalval - Black Blood

This is the second finale on Deadspace and was intended at the time to be the end of Dalval.

Most likely began around 2016 but not released until 2022. Bass and guitar is by ArtV. Black blood is another gothic/acoustic track with minimal electronics included.

The video is a continuation of the Indigo Blood video. More 70s stock footage I felt fit the vibe.

Obviously I changed my mind about ending the project and the next album Direct To Video sorta revitalized my creativity after a while of living with a block brought on by life events.

It’s back and better than ever!...But enjoy this memory of when it died!
