okay so now that i'm all caught up and i've been forced to watch each episode every week as it comes out - as the lord intended but still my brain is not wired like that anymore lmao - here's my rundown:

When I look at yuzuru he strikes me as a really soft cutesy charming etheral individual not really homme fatal kind of guy that's why I think he's pure romantic rather than TR what do u think? ( love you btw)

i’ve been thinking about it as well, but it’s not a crystal clear case. he’s a sportsman, skating morphs the body in the most uncommon ways which makes it harder to narrow down the type.

basics first so we get the foundations right: pinpointing the kibbe category he is + isn’t and why, the subtype after.

1. which one of the big 5?

- safe to say, yes: he’s somewhere in the romantic category. nobody does these outfits quite like yuzu. light fabrics, intricate embellishments, he is famous for all that gorgeous princely tailoring. the sport is all about the sequins, he definitely shines in them. every professional figure skating photographer out there will tell you that he hits different and you can see why.

WOW.

i’ve witnessed people complaining that the glitz and glam no longer suits his age, he gets scorn for not dressing traditionally masculine, but i don’t know how it wouldn’t look appropriate. the only valid criticism is that it’s often a hit or miss, but we’d be damned if this isn’t what an ice prince looks like.

he’s the best in the world and his main goal is to put on a show. rolling up in a polo shirt would contradict the objective, being an allround artist first and only then a jump technician. he’s exactly how you’d expect a yuzuru hanyu to look like. if you appear ‘like yourself’, it’s the right kibbe category.

R clothing typically has a sexy edge as well, you can’t put a kid into that. cut out cleavage, transparent, figure-hugging, no way. if anything, most R styles seemed all over the place when yuzu was younger (this is from 2010). yin is meant to be tailored for adults to begin with, you can’t make it teenage gamine.

eleven years later at 26, yuzuru hanyu in 2021, adult man, wearing the hell out of a skating gala outfit. this would be tacky on someone any younger. R is not just light and sweet but also dignified and mature. long story short. he’s grown into a yin-dominant type. fits to a T, a feast for the eye.

- meanwhile: you can easily exclude dramatic. very thick, stable fabrics with large lines are gigantic on him. D clothing is a yuzu charm killer, figures because it’s the type opposite to romantic (pure yang). it washes out the face and is twice as wide as his frame is, bulks out around the shoulders.

- not a natural type either, it feels a bit too simple, underchallenging. ruffled hair appears dishevelled where it’d be just right on a natural. it doesn’t fully highlight him: natural looks aren’t the most memorable on yuzuru even if they tend to be rather neutral and don’t look too off per se, it has a bit of draping after all.

he looks really good in the below outfit, but his frame doesn’t fill it out. he’s all elegant underneath and radiates ballet while N is a rough, easy-going, and leisurely concept for very bulky frames. the waist gets missing in translation, the mid-section of shirts like these is too wide.

- not a gamine either. he might appear like one and i deliberated back and forth whether he is Pure G or FG, but the material mix, line breaks, and fashion experiments are creating chaos rather than something put-together. it just isn’t as flattering as when he does drapes and florals. the hair being cropped (typical gamine cut) often obfuscates the face. G styles are confusing on yuzu.

his skating is from outer space but this is probably a bit too galactical 😅

- not a classic. something’s not right, suits like these contrast a lot with how round his face is and sit on his body very randomly. missing waist again (yin). the same people who want him to dress more conservatively/masculine have been roasting yuzu for looking like a salary man in that style 🤔 i sense hypocrisy. in any case, classic underwhelms, he’s made to dress up. more points to yin, he he’s too petite to wear C.

now, we got the main category down, time for subtyping. romantic has two options.

2. which romantic?

arguments in favor of Theatrical Romantic:

this type is what he often portrays in the rink (e.g. the phantom of the opera programme) and has become his secret weapon. whether that speaks of his true type is the question. what i mean is, he can pull it off, the seductive homme fatale. compare jimin, people lose their minds over theatrical romantic men. yuzu is in that lane as well.

as in, balance of main yin with a yang undercurrent — the very gentle, princely young man with the soft face who gathers everyone’s hearts, and he is a damn flirt on ice, but who can give a very visceral, dark performance. that shows a tremendous fervor and an edge, with an athletic and taut body.

he does have some yang elements to his physicality. streamlined silhouette, some narrowness, extreme flat muscle, long triangular upper body, some vertical line. also — his color palette (aka skin undertone, cool v warm, hue, chroma, deepness etc) might match TR. on the other hand, it might simply be the black hair giving him the contrast for it.

the reason why we might get the TR impression is that he often wears all black which suggests dramatic, and the athleticism in his profession has trained away the chubbiness he might naturally have. the face as the only part that won’t be somehow affected by his routine is all yin.

arguments in favor of pure Romantic:

... as you pointed out. in private life and backstage, he is quite effortlessly sweet- and small-looking. with the delicacy and doe-eyedness you’d expect from pure romantic, very unlike his performance persona.

if you didn’t know he’s copyrighted BDE on the ice, yuzu seems like he can’t harm a fly, round rosy bean he is. he makes a very innocent and soft 1st impression in candids which no other type except soft gamine does.

facial features, all opposite of yang. not long, not sharp, not planar, not angular, not bony, not narrow. the button nose, full lips, and puffy cheeks is all you see. you’d not think of him as striking (=D, FN).

that’s also why he’s always pitted as nathan chen’s opposite in whatever he does. nate is on the other end of the kibbe spectrum, people probably don’t even realize that their physical lines are contrasting archetypes. it’s subconsciously part of why people can construct such a rivalry.

study nathan’s face and it becomes apparent. very oblong shape, flat-laying flesh and an asymmetric jaw that couldn’t be any more prominent (=yang). the brows and eyes create a powerful horizontal unlike yuzu’s more wide-set puppy eyes. the nose is longer, the ears, too. nathan looks sharp, piercing, and intimidating rather than soft. you see the exact outline of the bone.

with him, you assume the reverse of what people think of yuzu at first glance. if you didn’t know that nathan couldn’t be any nerdier, you’d believe he’s 1000% jock-off-the-charts. how he has a lot of yang contributed to his on-ice image, too. one’s kibbe type can shape life choices since people see you in a certain way simply based on your lines.

how yuzu is such a visual difference to nathan further points to how he’s closer to pure yin: rather than a subtype that picks up elements from dramatic. otherwise, you’d see some of that angularity. but no: roundness over structure, you see the flesh, not frame. you couldn’t call him a jock by all means 😆

you won’t see that chiseled geometry and crazy jawline/browline. as you say he’s more cutesy, and a charmer, the whole fandom will agree. pure romantics have everyone wrapped around their fingers (and their booty lmao!) because you want to pepper them with kisses, yin types all look so non-threatening and beautiful. ethereal is the right word.

and they’re the sexiest ofc, since they’re curvy. R got hips.

sigh... this type is a showstopper. what to do with him. he can beam at ya or he can sway his hips at ya, another unsuspecting hanyu interessee falls for the guy. he does the prince concept and the sexy cutie alike.

he tries to convince us otherwise 😂

sexy aside, he looks great in the respective clothing recs, with waist emphasis and rounded edges. kimonos are often soft dramatic or natural-inspired, but it works out well this way. and again: romantic is not childish/playful clothing of some kind, it can be very official and deliberate.

rather than in edge tailoring which is very loose around his arms and does yuzu no justice. that’s actually the kind of clothing that makes him appear either younger or older depending on if it’s D or C.

TLDR - he might not seem completely yin in his appearance, but that’s because of his excessive sports regimen. since yuzu has been training since he was a kid, we never saw how he’d normally be. he rocks the pure romantic regardless and it’s likely it’s his kibbe type. him wearing R is always a spectacle.

me: huh I guess this Percy Jackson stuff is kinda cool. Oh, and the Witcher is supposed great. Oh and I can never stop talking about Batman.

my brain, punching me in the face: witchy sheith aus

#1 Kiki's delivery service type au. Magic is known but rare. Semi modern aesthetic. Maybe 50s ish?

Shiro's car breaks down and he has to walk the rest of the way to town, probably like 10 miles. Far. Keith comes down on his broomstick and they walk and talk for a while. The car is Shiro's baby, he's devastated at the thought of it breaking down and that someone will tow it to God knows where before he can come back for it. After a couple minutes of him not asking, Keith points out that there is room on his broomstick for two. Barely.

Shiro loves flying, of course.

They get into town, arrange for someone to pick up Shiro's car, who asks Keith, hey aren't witches usually girls? And trans!Keith's just, well this one isn't.

They go to a diner. (Maybe the 50s aesthetic was just the diner, Keith's jacket, and the classic car, actually. I'd be more comfortable with a 90s aesthetic anyway. It's at least post civil rights movement.) Shiro asks why Keith was flying out there, aren't witches usually assigned to their city and that's that? First off, that's in-training witches, how very dare you. I am a grown ass man. Second off, big sigh, yeah. My dad died. I'm bringing him to my mom's place because, well, I don't really know what to do with him. He's totally carrying an urn just, in his bag, it's a little funny in a morbid way.

Keith's gonna hit the road again right after eating, Shiro's gonna wait on his car, but they're both heading to roughly the same part of the country, maybe they'll meet up?

Definitely pre cellphones. It's very hopeful, very meet cute. Could go anywhere from here.

In retrospect I totally just made up the broken down car subplot in my waking mind to explain Shiro's movements but like. It works.

#2 sudden switch to Victorian aesthetic. Magic is Unknown and it is a big deal that Keith told Shiro anything.

So they arrive at the house together, and it's just Allura and a couple of unnamed extras there. Allura is completely ooc, sorry about that. Also the extras might be Pidge and Romelle, but if they are, I do NOT recognize them in those outfits lmao.

Anyway, Allura is in a tizzy over the state of them, they crashed through some trees or something at some point and are just. Slathered with dirt. They're both drawn to separate baths immediately. Keith is taken by the two girls, who lock themselves in with him, and Shiro remarks that he didn't think this was that kind of house, Allura says maybe she's just that type of woman. Keith, meanwhile, is Not Enjoying His Bath. Flailing limbs everywhere, even more so when they try to dress him.

Solo scene with him and Allura, There's been a Mistake. Keith does Not know how to stand in a dress. The shoes were right out, Keith has Giant feet. (Possibly actually? Like the Galra are Giants in this? Idk) Allura explains that the house (which has a name, but I've been watching Locke and Key and so the name my brain suggested was just Key House which means nothing to Keith) must be inherited by a Woman of the Blood or the protection on it and the people who live here and the family would have to be entirely redrawn, which would leave them vulnerable for months. Keith doesn't want to hurt his family, per se, but this is. Actually unbearable.

He leaves to stare at a portrait of his family when he and his sister? Inheriting cousin? Were babies. The brain suggested Lotor but uh. Why Keith in a dress? Maybe Axca? Whoever it is is either dead or unbearable.

Shiro narration. He thinks the purple skin is the result of the painter not knowing how to paint black skin, is surprised the family hung it anyway. No, they're just fucking purple. I wasn't imagining purple Keith, but a bit where Shiro thinks they did a terrible job bathing Keith and then it turns out that no, he is purple, he told you that you had the Sight would be cute.

Keith notices Shiro's presence, asks if Shiro's mad that he didn't tell him the whole truth. Flashback here, I think they shared a hotel room halfway here? And things got heated? And Shiro goes, yeah, if I'd known I'd been traveling with a member of the Peerage, I would have (I wanna say made Keith pay for everything instead of going dutch but dreaming Eli did not care).

He asks if it's okay to hug Keith, which he does from behind so Keith can keep staring at his mother's painted eyes. He tells Shiro he's lived as a man for over half his life, that his dad, at least, has never been anything but supportive, that he's a bastard anyway, (brain went through a rabbit hole of trying to decide who's in the painting then, but I'm not sure it matters? Only that Shiro thinks the babies are too young to determine the gender) that there's all kinds of ways for this to fuck up that aren't even his fault and he'll have gone through all of this for nothing.

Shiro says that he'll stand by Keith's side no matter what. A first kiss maybe?

This feels more like a friends to lovers situation than a meet cute, that could be fun. Like the flashbacks go farther than this trip, Keith's been "lying" to Shiro for longer, Shiro's like, this man can't lie to save his life, it is Known, so clearly he honestly doesn't care about a title or whatever. I'm feeling very Sherlockian about this now, it could be quite cute.

Oh throw in that bit from when I went on a Witcher binge and had the idea of Keith being Shiro's Wife for even purposes but then traveling as a man both for safety and because it feels truer? And Shiro does all the Peerage stuff for him because Keith doesn't wanna and because obviously even if it's Keith's inheritance We Are Stuffy Sexist Olds and Obviously We Only Want To Speak To The Man. Could be good here, idk I abide these vibes.

-Hanahaki Disease concept modification: Flower Tattoos Blossoming AU headcanon- by: Little1993lamb

I have this Hanahaki Disease concept but been trying to make more happier version. Because while I love the angst or hurt/comfort that associated with this trope, I still wanna make Badd and Garou together without any suffering, especially for Valentine's Day! Just pure dumbassery and oblivious mutual pining (or mutual in-denial, lmao) 😆💝💐

Thus, this concept was born: Instead of vomitting flower petals and suffering through it after falling in love with someone, small flowers tattoos will blooming from chest area where the heart is located at, and scattering across a person's entire chest until it forming into their crush's initial name.

The blooming process of flower tattoos formation doesn't hurt the person, but it will spread across more further onto other body parts like arms/legs/face, until it becomes very noticeable to see if the person won’t admit their feelings to their crush. It’ll spreading further until they confessed their love. Once the person confessed their feeling, the blooming process would be stopped.

There are 2 results after love confession or after the crush noticed their feeling:

1. If the crush rejected their love: the complementary flower tattoos across their body will looked like wilting and retracted back into person’s heart area and leaving a bruise-like shaped like the former main flower tattoo mark at it (if rejection hurts the person), or disappear with no trace (if the person accept their rejection and can move-on). Same cases if someone decided to break up with their lover;

2. If the crush reciprocated their love: the complementary flower tattoos across their body will retracted back BUT the flowers doesn’t wilt during the process. The main flower tattoos on their heart and their crush initial name’s flower tattoo formation will be remain imprinted on their chest. Not to mention, the colour of main flower tattoos will be even more vivid than before.

Now let’s imagine Batarou in this scenario...

After Garou and Badd living together, Garou start to develop romantic feeling for Badd. He wont admited it but he was actually having a crush and deep admiration for the hardworking hero but Garou didn't realized that it would grow more further into romantic love, and not platonic friendship love anymore.

When it happened, Garou found out a small pink Magnolia flower tattoo blooming on his chest are above his heart. Then day by day, the more he falls in love with Badd, the more tiny tattoos spreading and blossoming until it covered his entire chest.

At this stage, Garou recognized a small cursive word on his chest made from clustered tiny lil flower tattoos, forming a name: Badd. The name was surrounded by bigger yet equally beautiful Magnolia flowers tattoos. The meaning of flower language is: beauty, nobility, and dignity. Perfectly represented on what and who Badd is as an S-Class hero.

Garou didn't want Badd to see his tattoos nor confessed his love for him. He still wasn't sure if Badd has the same feeling as him or even seeing him more than a bestfriend. So Garou tried his best hiding those tattoos from Badd's sight.

Then it got worsened.

After the magnolia flower tattoos filled his entire skin on his chest, it spreading further on other areas such as his abs, his back, arms, legs. Even now it had been already reaching his collarbone area ready to spread on Garou's neck. Also it has different type of flower tattoo than the one he has on his chest. It was red Carnation flowers. The meaning of flower language is: deep love and admiration.

Therefore, Garou has two kind of flower tattoos: pink Magnolias on his chest as the main tattoo representated who he loves, then red Carnations on other body areas as the complementary tattoo representated what he feels for the person.

Combining these flowers meant: "I deeply admiring and loving Badd for his beauty, nobility, and dignity, both as a hero and as a person".

Unbeknown by Garou, Badd actually had been secretly crushing on him. Since he knows the truth about Garou's true self that he's not a real bad guy and still has pure-heart, Badd start to like him more. He was so happy on the day he found Garou again and successfully bringing him into his house, at least he has a chance to have fresh start on building newfound friendship.

At first he only adored Garou as roommate or friend, but the feeling start to grow as longing one as he spent more time together with Garou. He was longing for Garou's sincere affections or even intimate touch such as warm hugs and intimate embraces, or kisses and loving gazes from the wolf boy.

That's when Badd waking up with freshly blooming Gladiolus flower on his chest above his heart. At first it's just one flower, fhen it keep adding and blooming one more flower per day.

Until they formed diagonal colorful Gladiolus flower spikes across his chest, with the biggest and brightest colored one blossomed on above his heart. On the middle of his pecs, there's cursive words made by tiny lil Gladiolus flower spikes forming a name: Garou. The meaning of flower language is: strength, faithfulness, and sincerity. Just like what Garou has in himself that Badd absolutely adored for.

He really wanted to spill all of his heart content for Garou but he didn't know if Garou likes him the way Badd likes Garou. Thus Badd refused to confess it to him, decided that the best way is to bottled up his love and longing feeling for Garou.

Knowing how stubborn Badd is at hiding his own feeling, the tattoos growing more further on his body. Now it has complementary tattoo with pink and red Camellias, which are nearly covered Badd's entire body except his hands, his neck and face. The flower language for pink Camellia is longing, while red Camellia is passion and desire. Hence, those expressed a new meaning as romantic passionate love.

Combining these flowers meant: "I'm longing and desired for Garou's romantic love, I admired him for his courage and strength to do something he believes on, also for his sincerity and kindness in his pure heart".

Usually both Garou and Badd wearing long shirt or turtleneck combined with long pants even in home, which is fortunately helped them hiding their tattoo marks that have been blooming on their entire body from eachother. They avoided on have a shower or bathing together, even more ridiculous they also avoided changing clothes in the same room.

That happened for a week and both of them starting to get suspicious for the other's weird new behaviour, wondering why they have been so awkward to eachother during those time. But then one day, when Badd had just arrived at home after a mission with tattered clothes, he forgot to put his school jacket uniform on.

Once Garou laid his eyes on Badd's exposed tattoo-covered body underneath his tattered outfit, he immediately asking Badd if Badd has a crush on someone lately and who is this lucky person. Badd was caught off-guard by Garou's question, but he dodged it quickly as the hero excused himself to the bathroom. That dismissive reaction made Garou frowned.

Garou was a bit hurt by the fact Badd was in love someone without telling him, he couldn't help but feels jealous for whoever gets Badd's unconditional love. It's not like Garou wont allows Badd to love someone, but a tiny egoistic part of Garou wanted to it to be HIM. He wanted all of Badd and will not sharing him with anyone else (Zenko is the only exception as she is their family so no problem).

But Garou understood Badd decision to hide the flower blooming tattoos from him. Maybe Badd wasn't ready enough to tell about it as it's very personal thing. Maybe he wanted to talk to him after all is settled.

Same as Badd, Garou himself also didn't wanna talk about his own blooming tattoos that have been spreading on all of his body and limbs, except his face thanks to holding back his longing feeling.

Thus, he wont push the matter to Badd. Garou would wait until he comes to him on his own term.

On the other hand, Badd was so scared that his little secret has been exposed to Garou because of his own clumsiness. Now Garou would questioning who the hell his crush is. He feels guilty not telling about this before to Garou but what was he supposed to do?

Spilling the truth which would automatically makes him revealed his feeling for the handsome wolf boy? What if Garou doesn't even like him and feels disgusted by the confession? Honestly Badd wasn't strong enough to face Garou's rejection, especially that he had been falling so hard in love with him. He doubted if fighting spirit could mend and heal a broken heart.

So, Badd kept his deeply longing feels from Garou, locked it inside his heart. Hopefully it wont affect the growth of his blooming flower tattoos as he wont like it when Garou noticed him covered in colourful tattoos from head to toe.

Garou thought Badd would confess his love as soon as possible, so his tattoo would stop blooming and Badd finally could get together with whoever his crush is. Because for Garou, Badd's happiness is the most important thing to him. He wouldn't ruin it just because he has a special feeling for the beautiful hero.

If that happens, maybe Garou can confess his feeling for Badd then let go of his love instantly. His own tattoo would wilting just like his heart wilting from unrequited love. Garou hoped the tattoo would be disappear with no trace as he moves on from Badd, but he didn't mind if it left a bruise, marking that one time in his life he was deeply in love with Badd.

But Garou's prediction was wrong.

Badd's tattoos still hasn't disappeared yet. It's even spreading further onto his face! That's the red flag warning because the moment flower tattoos start blooming on someone face, they must immediately confess their feeling. Once they do it, no matter what's the result, the complementary tattoos would be retracted back.

So why hasn't Badd confessed yet? Is there something wrong?

Couldn't take it anymore seeing Badd in such miserable condition, Garou decided to confront Badd after a hero mission. He genuinely wanted to help Badd going through his problem if there's any. By doing that, Garou would put aside his own feeling and prioritized Badd's happiness.

When Garou approached Badd in his room and calmly asked about his current situation, Badd attempted to flee from conversation. But before Badd successfully escaped from the room Garou already caught him in his embrace, begging the struggling Badd to listen to him.

Garou explained that he would help Badd to be together with someone Badd really likes, or at least talking to eachother, whatever it takes. If needed, Garou would also captured and dragged that person in so they can hear Badd's confession. Badd replied that it was kinda impossible to do that (and also silly to think of because the person he loves was actually Garou himself, what Garou would do? dragged himself in??). Badd also wasn't convinced if that person even likes him romantically or even wanted to be with him.

After calming Badd down in his arms (and calming himself down because he was currently hugging his crush), Garou tilted Badd's face. Gently caressing his tattooed cheek, thumb brushing on the freshly blooming pink Camellia tattoo on Badd's cheekbone.

Garou thought, 'Longing for that hard, huh, Badd? Who is this person you longing for?". He gazed at Badd's dark chocolate eyes, which are already looking teary and glassy from holding back internal frustation with a hint of sadness. Garou hated to see Badd like this, especially when he bottled up all of his feelings. Then Garou shifted his eyes on Badd's lips. He must refrain himself from kissing him senseless, to wash away every sadness from the hero. But it's not Garou's right to do it when Badd already has someone who owns his heart.

At last, Garou was pleading to Badd for dropping the person's name, he would helped Badd find this person so he could confess all of his feeling for them.

Seeing Garou's strong determination, Badd couldn't help but surrendered to his doomed fate. Badd was sure he would embarassed himself after the confession, letting Garou know that he has been stupidly fell in love with him after all this time. Only to receive impending rejection from the wolf boy.

Badd sighed loudly while released himself from Garou's arms, ready to spilll the truth in front of Garou. Slowly he took his shirt off, revealing how the colourful flower tattoos covered his entire torso.

Then as soon as Garou laid his eyes on the name written on his chest, Badd closed his eyes, not wanting to see Garou's disappointed or disgusted expression. Badd could forget turndown talk but sure as hell he wont forget the look of judging face. That's why he closed his eyes. He waited for Garou's reaction.

But it hasn't coming as he heard nothing from Garou for a whole minute. Taking a courage, Badd opened his eyes again.

What Badd saw was Garou's dumbstrucked face as his eyes still zero-ing on his own name that written on Badd's pecs. After realizing he was stared back by Badd, Garou immediately taking off his turtleneck shirt. It was when Badd got dumbstrucked in turn.

There Garou was, bare-chested showing off his own flower tattoo-covered body in front of Badd. On his chest was obviously Badd's name, beautifully written made from those tiny pink flower tattoos. Badd looked back at Garou's face, who currently smiling happily for him.

With that big revelation from eachother, Badd bursted out laughing so hard then running back towards Garou's awaiting arms, inhaling his calming scent before continuing to laugh happily.

Badd just felt both stupid and relieved. Why didn't he just confess to Garou as soon as possible and found the wonderful result instead of making himself in miserable state by worrying about Garou's feeling for him thus prolonging his pining until his whole body covered by these bright colourful flowery tattoos. Now that his love has been reciprocated, Badd was in bliss. He thought he cried a little from the sheer happiness and relief.

Badd felt a pair of lips touched his forehead in a lingering kiss, and the moment he looked up Garou already giving him those trademark cheeky grin, then peck his nose in adorkable manner.

Both Garou and Badd laugh wholeheartedly together while also rubbing their noses in Eskimo kisses. They just happy to know that they have the same feelings towards eachother after the whole silly mutual pining for months already.

Badd tiptoed and clung his arms around Garou's neck so their hug becomes closer until their bare-chest flushed together. He nuzzled Garou’s neck then gazing softly into his bright golden eyes, soft smile on his lips.

Badd could feels Garou's tighter hold around his slim waist in a possessive way, then with so much tenderness and gentle voice, Garou whispered his love confession for Badd.

Even though both of them already know that their feelings are returned, but it didn't hurt if Garou said it directly to his beloved hero. Make the confession clear and unhesitantly so there will be no doubtness anymore between them.

The heartwarming confession left Badd at a loss of words. Never have expected he would hear Garou said those declaration of love before. He had been yearning for Garou to say that words to him after all this time, but never had courage to ask it from the wolf boy because he didn't to make him weirded or uncomfortable if the feeling wasn't reciprocated. Badd would definitely choose to fight Dragon-level monsters than asking Garou out to date him.

Yet here Garou is, whispering those loving sentences into his ear, reassuring Badd that he is indeed is loved by Garou. That made Badd got teary-eyed again, he just so happy finally they could be together.

To complete Garou's confession, he pulled the taller man down a bit and kissed him softly on lips. Despite the kiss was just for a brief moment but it was very sweet for Badd. This was his first kiss and he gave it to the man he loved the most.

Once he released the kiss, their lips still barely apart, Badd in turn whispered his own declaration of love into their warm breath they have shared. Not forgetting to looking up so Garou could see his joyful smile full of adoration for him.

Replied with the same adoring smile, Garou kissed Badd slow but passionately. He poured all of his feeling out into the kiss. The love he feels for Badd never once wavering nor faltered, it strenghtened throughout time they’ve been together. Just like this moment.

For a brief second Garou letting go of their lip-locking act to take a breath, then resumed the kiss with even more intimacy than before. It made Badd whimpering softly into Garou’s mouth, his knees weakened and he’d be fallen down if not for Garou’s strong arms supporting his standing position.

Not too long after that, Garou ended their intimate kiss but still peppering small kisses on both of Badd’s cheeks, nose, forehead, then on the top of his head while inhaling his hair scent.

Unbeknown by them, the flower tattoos that covered their bodies had been retracted back slowly as Garou and Badd celebrating their love union together in silence. Only ticking clocks and the lovers' soft humming sounds could be heard in the room.

It's already late night, Badd and Garou spending time just lying on the bed together, each other's hand were tracing the remaining flower tattoo marks on the other's chest.

On Garou's chest, there's only one big bright pink Magnolia flower mark that located above his heart, and Badd's name formation made from tiny flower clusters in the middle of his pecs. All surrounded by a few of smaller Magnolia tattoos that scattered across his chest. The red Carnation complementary tattoos had disappeared entirely as Garou's feeling already delivered and reciprocated.

On Badd's chest, there's only one big flower spikes of Gladiolus flower mark that were located diagonally across his chest, starts from his right lower ribcage and ended on his left collarbone, with the biggest and brightest single Gladiolus flower blossom among the spikes on above his heart. And Garou's name formation made from tiny curved flower spikes in the middle of his pecs. The pink and red Camellias complementary tattoos also had disappeared entirely once Badd finally confessed his love for Garou.

Badd was impressed after learning about Garou's tattoos meaning which represented all of his best feature. That means those were what in Garou's mind whenever he thinks about Badd. "Beauty, nobility, and dignity, huh? I'm flattered, honestly", he nodded in approval.

On the other hand, Garou was very amused for the meaning behind Badd's tattoos to represent him. So, in the end, it showed that the hero was absolutely attracted to him very badly after seeing his true self. "Strength, faithfulness, and sincerity? Are you sure you talked about me, hmm, babe?", Garou teasing Badd who flustered at his words.

When the moonlight shining through the window, both of them already sleeping in each other's arms. They sleep peacefully with a soft content smile plastered on their face, enjoyed the warmth of their tight embrace.

What He Looks For In An S/O~

• Shikamaru is a laid back person, and he’d definitely want an S/O who is chill

• This boy is a GENIUS so he’d be bored with someone who couldn’t hold an intelligent conversation

• I’ve already said it, but someone who’s CHILL, Shika can’t handle a wild S/O

• He would prefer someone more on the homebody side, he doesn’t want to be dragged on adventures all the time ever

• He probably wouldn’t care if they were a civilian, he’d always wanted a plain life anyways

• Shikamaru wouldn’t want your relationship to be scheduled and busy, he’d prefer someone who didn’t mind simple things or spontaneous things

• A patient S/O is mandatory cause do you know how many hours he spends doing nothing and being quiet? He’ll need a saint

• He needs someone who has a passion for things they love, the way he is with his friends/teammates and shogi

• An accepting S/O, someone who doesn’t try to change him, whether it’s his laziness or his smoking

• Shikamaru can be pessimistic and snarky sometimes, so he’d do well with someone who has a thick skin

• Alright, alright we all know the basic stuff. He’s going to nap, watch clouds, and play shogi with you, that’s old news.

• Shika is not clingy and doesn’t crave constant physical affection in the way that he won’t for the most part look at you like ‘I just wanna hold her’

• He’s (obviously) very perceptive, however, and if he knows you want to cuddle or something he will usually indulge you (with some complaints of course)

• If you don’t mind smoking once in a while, great! If not, he’s very considerate and won’t do it when you’re around

• Shika is not really the ‘let’s go out on a date’ type, he’s more lowkey and prefers to just spend time with you in private

• Surprisingly, he’s a big fan of pillow talks, so, please indulge him

• He enjoys journaling, it’s a way for him to process everything he took in during the day it’s hard being a super genius and he would love if you did that together

• Sometimes, when he’s in a good mood he’ll do little things that he thinks are childish, but how could he say no when you’re so cute?? He ends up loving pillow forts

• Massages will be a big thing between you, he’s often stressed and that really helps him, but he always feels obligated to return the favor

• He’s really like an adorable pessimistic teddybear

• Sometimes he finds the need to rant about whatever and if you’re willing to listen, you’ll have his heart. On the flip side, he’s a great listener, even if he doesn’t have much to say, you know he cares

• I’m 100% sure trying to make him do things is a given, but I’ll say it louder for the people on the back :)

• If you are constantly pestering him and interrupting his peace, he will quickly get fed up

• Please do NOT play hard to get or make him jealous. He’ll immediately know what you’re doing, but things like that just make him frustrated

• He hates mixed signals and dropped hints, so if you have something to say, just say it

• If you try to change him and constantly nag at him to be more productive, he will quickly lose interest

• Talking just for the sake of talking, and not having anything real to say will grate on his already thin patience

• As crazy as this may sound, there is a limit to how much lazy Shika can take. Even if he complains, he always completes his duties to the best of his abilities. If his partner can’t even do that much, he will lose respect for them

• The opinion of people he’s close to is a big deal. If his teammates, Asuma, or his family genuinely think something’s off about you, he will proceed with caution and probably be more scrutinizing of you

• He really has a short temper so be mindful of that, try to refrain from bothersome pranks and annoying him just because

Soft Shika Things~

• Even though he isn’t the softest person you’ll ever meet, he has his moments

• This side of him usually comes during naps/cloud watching

• He doesn’t mind cuddling up with you at these moments and he might even ask for it

• Shikamaru is a believer in the little things, so if he sees you’re insecure he might drop little compliments here and there.

• He’d die if you ever told anyone, but sometimes if he has nothing better to do, he’ll paint your nails, especially if they’re beginning to crack. He loves to experiment and see how different colors go with your skin tone

FACTS

Yana is from Marquette, Michigan—a friendly, scenic, and cold place on the Upper Peninsula. Her mother is originally from Japan and moved to the United States to attend university and she stayed after she met Yana’s father. Yana has an older brother, Mikhail (Misha), who was born in New York, but then a job opportunity cropped up for her father that brought the family halfway across the country and dumped them in Michigan.

Yana’s parents are hardworking, no-nonsense, and both functioning alcoholics. Yana and Misha’s upbringing was, as a result, a little distant and sanitized, and has led Yana to push herself as far and hard as she can in order to feel like she has done something right by them. But mostly, not much she can do catches their attention.

Enter: Broadripple Academy in her google search for “top prestigious boarding schools grades 9-12.” Yana dedicated the entirety of eight grade to cramming for the entrance exam and convinced at least half a dozen of her teachers to send letters of recommendation or to help her with the application. While the Montessori school she attended wasn’t bad per se, it didn’t have the stature a place like Broadripple Academy did. It was a ticket to a great college, to a great future, and maybe like… a hearty pat on the back from her dad or a congratulatory hug from her mom????

She paid all the fees with money she made from babysitting over the previous two years, forged her parents’ signatures (as she was accustomed to), and her parents didn’t find out she had even applied until she got the acceptance letter. Their reaction was, as per usual, lackluster. They condescendingly thought it was cute that she had done all this on her own, bragged to their friends about how they helped her get in, and then in the fall Yana was shipped off.

What motivates Yana is not perfection but success, and it does have the habit of driving her up the wall sometimes but that is just the kind of sacrifice she has to make in order to fulfill a goal. She is very future-oriented in that when she first arrived at Broadripple she had a bit of a I’m Not Here To Make Friends outlook (though undoubtedly made 2-3 really close friends within the first couple months and has assumed her role as Mom Friend yes hello these are wanted connections).

Her dad is an atheist but her mom practices Shinto and used to be a Buddhist. When Yana and Misha were young, she really immersed them in both religions. They sporadically attended Lake Superior Zendo back home until Yana was about twelve and they still perform Shinto prayers at home at a Kamidana.

She is really dedicated to their studies and heavily side-eyes everyone who doesn’t take school seriously. Like, guys don’t you realize how lucky you are to be here!!!

HEADCANONS

Back home, Yana has a pet ferret named Pasha. If you are a friend of hers, you know everything about him from the little snuffling sounds he makes while he sleeps, his favorite treats, and the “walks” through the park that Yana takes him on when she’s home. He is her baby and she misses him. </3

Yana is quite... economical (i.e. cheap as hell). Her brother made her a tie-dye shirt that says ‘Dollar Tree Prom King 2008′ (an inside joke). She really values independence and money = independence, y’know? It’s just another thing she doesn’t have to worry about bothering her parents for, so she works at a restaurant and babysits almost nonstop whenever she’s home so she has spending money while at school.

Which reminds me that she feels like an awful daughter for literally no valid reason. That’s just what checked out parents do to you, I guess. :/

Though she’s a very serious person the things she finds funny are usually bizarre, nonsensical memes and she particularly loves furby ones, especially the long furby blessed be his name etc etc.

She has a small crystal collection that she uses for things like concentration, energy, calmness, self love, etc. Does she sincerely believe they do anything? I’m gonna go ahead and give it a 50/50. She does enjoy the ritual of charging them and doing full moon stuff. Who’s down to bask in the moonlight???

When not wearing the school-regulated Oxfords or her standard pair of white sneakers Yana is, in fact, wearing a pair of light blue crocs. They’re comfy, okay!!! Also fashion-wise, she does wear a lot of monochromatic outfits. If you go to her Pinterest page that I linked above you’ll see what I mean. Nothing too weird just like, a Brand.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RETREAT

What do they think about The Retreat? Yana is someone who feels her goals are in danger and/or inconvenienced by the Retreat. She very much wants to be at Broadripple and she’s going to be worrying about her GPA and missed opportunities from not being on campus. It makes her uneasy and she’s anxious to get back tot he dorms.

Do they have any previous experience with camping or other outdoors? She was in the Girl Scouts when she was a kid and attended Girl Scout Camp for a couple weeks for a few summers, but other than that her family’s connection to the outdoors was pretty regimented in religious ceremony a lot of the time. But she did grow up with a lot of people in Michigan who camped and did outdoors-y stuff, so she picked up one small things but nothing that would be very useful at the Retreat.

What does their cabin bunk look like? How will they decorate their space? Yana isn’t a neat freak by any means but she does value organization. She has her crystals laid out on her bedside table (they are usually on her desk back in the dorm), a couple sticks of incense, and her clothes are all neatly folded and put away. She has designated a spot beside her bed for all her school stuff, and then she has a framed photo of herself and her brother propped up nearby (see here). She also has a tote bag of like, cheap crafts supplies to do in her “downtime” as a form of chilling lmao. She had more miscellaneous decorative stuff back in her dorm that she didn’t bring.

Do they believe in the supernatural? To what degree? In a sense, yeah, depending on your definition of what is or isn’t supernatural. Going to take a direct quote here but: “informed by Shinto beliefs around notions of animism — a soul (“reikon”) lives within all existence and phenomena. Everyday things — from objects to plants to mountains — can be defined as ‘kami’ or deities.” So in a sense that she believes in deities, yes. But monsters? Cryptids? Ghosts? Not really.

Are they easily spooked? Actually, yes asdkjn. She’s just very verrrrrry jumpy. It doesn’t take much to startle her honestly.

Coachella {CH}

a/n: k so i’ve been dreaming about those pictures of calum like they’re haunting me in a good way so here’s some half assed/kind of shitty 3k one shot of coachella calum that i don’t expect to do well but i’m posting it anyway lmao so!!! anywayyy hope y’all like :))

It was hot out and the music was blasting. Everyone stood around the pool, laughing and singing along to the music, having photo shoots on their phones and expensive cameras. Coachella weekend was one the biggest and funnest occasions and of course Mallory and her friends were going to attend. They hadn’t missed it in years.

Her friends were a mixture of normal, non famous people like her, Instagram influencers, and actually, famous worldwide known people. Photographers, models, bands, you name it, she was friends with them. She couldn’t remember how her average self became friends with these people, honestly, but she was thankful for them. They didn’t act like they were famous, just like they were normal people like her, and she appreciated that. They didn’t treat her as if she was any less of their friend since she was normal.

Mallory huffed as she leaned over, resting her hands on her knees and trying to help the aching pain that was in her back. It was the third and last day of Coachella, and the standing and dancing all day and night the past forty-eight hours were taking a toll on her. Backaches weren’t common for her, so it felt like her spine was breaking off.

“You good over there?” Mallory lifted her head up at the sound of a voice, keeping her hands on her knees, an letting out a breathless laugh at Calum’s question. Calum Hood, one of her very famous worldwide known friends. The two of them weren’t as close and the rest of the band, but they still hung out and talked. He was usually reserved and closed off and Mallory knew that, so she didn’t take it personally.

“My back is fucking aching,” Mallory groaned. “Coachella ain’t for me this year.”

And she was right. Unlike the years before, it was hotter outside, her whole body was absolutely aching, and the exhaustion was taking over. But day three was always the most fun, so she wasn’t going to stay back at the house and miss out on the fun. She was going to troop it out and drink the pain away like everybody else was doing.

“Why don’t you sit down?” Calum took a long drag of his cigarette and exhaled the smoke. He watched as Mallory stood all the way up, throwing her head back in pain, and pressed his lips together at the sight of the glitter her and her friends had applied to their chests. She was glistening with glitter and sweat and her outfit was revealing, just like everybody else's. It was hard for him to keep his eyes off of her.

Calum had always had a soft spot for Mallory. He wasn’t sure what it was about her, but he was drawn to her the minute he met her. He was still distant and closed off, but he would talk to her when he was around her. He wanted to get to know her better, become closer, but he was scared of getting too close to anybody - minus his band - especially when it was a pretty girl with a personality that every guy fell for.

It wasn’t a secret that some of the guys in their friend group liked her as more than a friend and thought she was attractive. It was hard not to like Mallory. She was nice, probably the nicest one in their friend group, gorgeous, and could make anybody laugh. All in all, it was hard not to like Mallory. Even platonically. That’s why Calum tried to keep his distance.

Mallory looked around and frowned at the lack of chairs. All the lawn chairs were taken and the few fold-able camping chairs her friends had brought were in use, and sitting on the concrete ground was definitely not going to help ease the pain in her back. “There’s nowhere to sit.”

Calum looked around as well, noticing that the only place to sit was the ground. He wasn’t about to let her sit on the ground. But, he also didn’t want to stand. So, looking down at his parted legs, he looked back up at her and bit his lip in thought. “C’mere,” Calum patted his blue pant covered thigh. Mallory looked at his face and to his hand that was patting his thigh with raised eyebrows. “Sit on my lap. It’s better than the ground.”

Mallory and Calum weren’t affectionate. They had hugged maybe four times in the five years of being friends. Unlike Mallory and Michael or Luke or her other friends who often hugged every time they saw each other. So, she was hesitant. She couldn’t even try to lie to herself and say that his thigh didn’t look good to sit on, because it did. Too good.

Mallory was attracted to Calum the second she saw him. I mean, who wouldn’t be? She followed him on Instagram before she even met him in person, already being a fan of his band, so when she first met him and the rest of the band through a mutual friend, she was a little starstruck. But then she realized that she was already friends with famous people and the guys were no different.

Mallory looked around once more, hoping a seat had opened up, and sighed in defeat when one hadn’t. She took a few steps towards Calum and carefully sat down on his lap sideways, so her legs were in between his parted ones. She let out a breath and sighed happily as she instantly felt the ache subside just a little bit.

“Better?” Calum laughed.

Mallory nodded her head. “Much.” None of their friends thought anything of her sitting on Calum’s lap, really. They knew there was alcohol being consumed and weed being smoked, and nobody’s head was completely sober or clear, so it wasn’t too strange for Mallory to be sitting on his lap.

Calum was hyper aware of Mallory on his lap. She wasn’t heavy at all, but he could feel the warmth from her bare legs against his pants and could smell the coconut tanning lotion she had put on earlier mixed with the smell of the Strawberry Daiquiri she was currently drinking. Calum wasn’t one to drink fruity drinks, but it smelled so good, he had to at least try it.

“That good?” Calum pointed to her drink and she nodded her head as she took a long sip. It was hot out and the coldness of the drink did only a little to cool her down. She held the cup out to him, offering him a sip, and he gladly took it, offering her his cigarette in return. They both wrapped their lips around the ends of them and sucked and inhaled. “Damn,” Calum took another sip. “That shit is good.”

“Want me to make you one?” Mallory tried to get up, but realized Calum’s hand resting on her hip was a little too tight and kept her sitting down. She didn’t mind, though.

“Nah, ‘m good. I’ll stick to my Corona.”

Mallory snorted. “Strawberry Daiquiri too feminine for you, Calum? Gonna kill your masculinity?”

“That’s exactly what it’s gonna do, Mal.” Calum laughed and Mallory shook her head. They fell into a comfortable silence and listened to their friends converse. Mallory swayed back and forth to the music playing that was getting everybody hyped for the artists they were going to see later on that day.

Ashton was walking around taking pictures of everybody with his phone, acting as their photographer even though they had actual photographer friends there. His face lit up when he saw Mallory and Calum, looking more like a couple than friends since she was on his lap. “Cal! Mal!” Their heads shot up and looked at Ashton expectantly. “Picture time. Pose for me.”

Mallory instantly went into model mode and wrapped her arms around Calum’s neck, surprising him but not disappointing him, and he wrapped his arms around her waist. She leaned back slightly so she wasn’t covering Calum’s face and grinned widely, showing off her pearly white teeth. Calum’s facial expression mirrored Mallory’s and instead of looking at the camera, he looked at her and admired her, thankful for the sunglasses on his face that covered his eyes. Nobody could see through them, so nobody could catch him staring at her.

Calum took a few solo, per Ashton’s request, and so did Mallory. Calum pulled her back down on his lap so the pair could look through the pictures Ashton took of them. They were cute and totally looked like they were a couple, but Calum didn’t mind. He hadn’t posted a picture on Instagram in a while and he knew that he had to bless the fans with good content, and that’s the best content he’s had in a while.

“These are so cute!” Mallory giggled tipsily.

Calum hummed in agreement and opened an app for picture editing. Once they were both satisfied, Calum sent them to Mallory like she asked him to and he sent them to himself off of Ashton’s phone. Calum’s thumb hovered over his Instagram app. “Mind if I post ‘em?”

Mallory’s eyes widened in surprise, but she shook her head no. “Not at all. Why would I mind?”

“Dunno.” Calum shrugged. “You know how the fans can be. They usually freak out when we post pictures with friends that are girls and I don’t want you gettin’ attacked by them.”

Mallory thought it was sweet how Calum was looking out for her. And she thought it was sweet that he wanted to posted a picture of the two of them. Sure, there were a few other pictures he was posting too; two of just himself and another of him, Ashton, and Luke, but still. She was involved and it made her happy to be a part of something.

“I’m surprised you wanna post them,” Mallory admitted. “I mean, you don’t post often, and when you do it’s never of you and some random girl.”

Calum frowned at Mallory thinking she was just some random girl. She was everything but that. They were friends, not the best of friends, but they had known each other for years. Sometimes, in his mind, Calum considered her one of his closest friends. “You’re not just some random girl, Mal. You’re a good friend. You know that.”

Calum gave her his blessing to post the one of them and she added some other ones of her and her girl friends, but her Instagram blew the fuck up with notifications, likes, and comments. Some good and some, most of them, bad. But she ignored them. She and Calum were just friends and nothing more than that.

Lingering touches and dancing close to one another were how Calum and Mallory spent the rest of their night. Calum had never been touchy, never been one to show affection to his friends, but after he had a few drinks and after Mallory got off of his lap, he couldn’t seem to take his hands off of her.

He had his arm around her shoulder as they walked through the crowd and watched from stage to stage. Or, if it was a particularly crowded set or crowd, Calum would instantly, without a second thought, take Mallory’s hand in his so he wouldn’t lose her. This time, their friends did notice the touching. They didn’t think anything of the lap sitting, but the dancing and hand holding? It was out of the ordinary. That’s when Mallory’s friends pulled her to the side to question her.

“What is going on with you and Calum?”

“What do you mean?” Mallory furrowed her eyebrows.

“You two look like a couple.” Her other friend butted in.

“What?” Mallory laughed loudly. “Yeah, right. We’re friends, guys. You know that.”

“I have never seen Calum be that touchy with a friend before, Mal. Is there something goin’ on that you’re not telling us about?”

“No, guys, seriously,” Mallory grimaced as she spoke the next words that she wished she didn’t have to say. She had spent the whole day with Calum and it could have just been the alcohol in her system, but she found herself getting more and more attracted to him and starting to liking him, not just as a friend. It was crazy, she thought. But she coudn’t help it. “We’re friends, that’s all. Just friends.”

Her friends gave each other looks, but Mallory ignored them, and huffed in annoyance. She was tired, her feet and her back hurt, and she was not in the mood to be interrogated by her friends. She had already seen all of the performers that she wanted to, so she was ready to call it a night. If she didn’t leave soon she would get cranky and nobody wanted that.

“You don’t have to believe me, but it’s true,” Mallory shot down their thoughts before they could voice them again and let a yawn rip out of her mouth. “I’m leaving now. Tell everyone I say bye.”

Her phone was dead, so there was no option of calling an Uber, and the house they were staying in was a thirty minute walk, which was long but not the worst, so she decided on walking and not bothering the rest of her friends to leave with her and get her an Uber.

“Ay, Mal! Wait up!” She heard Calum call and she turned around, walking backwards once she made sure nobody was walking behind her. He continued jogging to catch up with her. “You leavin’ already?”

“Mhm,” Mallory hummed tiredly. “I’m tired and gonna call it a night.”

“I’ll go with you.” Calum pulled out his phone and went to order them an Uber, but it died just as the app opened. He didn’t want to make Mallory walk, but now they had no choice. Halfway through the walk, Mallory groaned in pain and kicked her platform sandals off. She couldn’t believe she had lasted in them all day and night. Calum stopped in place and crouched down in front of her. “Hop on.”

Mallory didn't even try to protest and happily jumped on Calum’s back. She let her arms hang on either side of his neck, her shoes in her hands, as she rested her head on his shoulder. She was exhausted and could have fallen asleep on his back, but every time he would shift and hike her higher up on his back and squeeze her thighs, she was wide awake. - FREYA COMING FOR HOPE, YES, YES. FREYOPE HUG. BEST PART OF THE EPISODE, AS BRIEF AS IT WAS! WOULD HAVE LOVED MORE, BUT WBK JULIE WOULDN’T DELIVER TOO MUCH.

- Last notes: This episode was kind of meh for me, tbh, but. Obviously would have loved more Freya, and if that was really it, I do feel like it was kind of a waste. I’m glad Josie didn’t let me down when it came to returning everyone’s memories. The little Landon/Lizzie dynamic was really cool this episode, I liked it. Lizzie being a Hosie anti after people been repping her as a supporter, LMAO... that’s funny, idc. Also, Lizzie had one of her best looks this episode, even with a repeat outfit! And I’m sorry, the fact that the Jandon vs. Handon bullshit is only going to be MORE pronounced now that everyone has their memories back... I don’t like this shit. Hope and Josie not really interacting either kind of sucked, especially since I presume they won’t be doing so too positively in the next episode either. :/ Anyway, per usual, would just like for Hope to be happy!

it never occurred to me to write about my ii experience on tumblr, but i figured it could be helpful for those who would appreciate a lil story time like this.

essentially, to make a very long story short, i ended up getting my vip tickets at 2am the morning of my show. i had a fantastic time meeting them and an even better time watching the show! a more in-depth story under the cut, per usual.

needless to say, i was equal parts excited and terrified of what was to come. i hate last minute planning more than anything else so i really had no idea what to say, what to have them sign, what pose i wanted to do with them, etc. (yes, i’ve been a fan since 2013 and have had numerous scenarios of me meeting d&p playing in my head throughout those years but the second that that somehow become a reality ALL expectations and year-long plans flew out of my head instantly).

so to start off, i had to plan what exactly i wanted dan and phil to sign. at first, i wanted to draw something from scratch to have them sign so that it would be that little more special, but i simply couldn’t muster much of anything with the limited time and my shaken nerves, so i settled with printing out two copies of my fanart of dan and phil singing the ii song. in the end, i figured that this piece was a lot more meaningful to have signed instead of a random fanart that i made at the last minute, and i was completely right to do so.

fast forward a couple hours, and i’m trying to get into the vip line for ii. i made a rather lengthy thread on twitter about this experience if you’re interested but again, to keep a long story short, it was quite a hassle for me! but in the end, i manage to get in.

the meet and greet starts. i’m trying to play it cool because the people i’m with start to completely freak out once dan and phil round the corner to say hi to the vips and all of a sudden the reality just runs us over like a train! what was once a distant “oh yeah we’ll get to that bridge when we cross it” became “OH MY GOD WE’RE AT THE BRIDGE WE’RE CROSSING THE BRIDGE NOW AND THE BRIDGE IS ON FIRE” for me, my big moment was realizing that, finally, after over 5 years of watching these two weird guys on the internet i was actually going to get to meet and hug them and that realization was absolutely WILD.

so, i’m at the front of the line. my sister is in tears and shaking because of how nervous she is to meet them. marianne, being an absolute sweetie, tries to comfort my sister by telling her that dan and phil will be happy to see her and that she shouldn’t be afraid of them. in a way, i kind of needed to hear those words too, so i use that opportunity to go meet them before my sister does so that she can gather herself in the mean time. marianne takes my gift to them (the other copy of the fanart i made) and i go for it.

first thing i see is phil, and wowow holy shit people are 100% not lying when they say he is 569845x more handsome in person. even worse, you can see practically every freckle he has and his eyes are so vibrant!!!! in a way, i would describe it as being used to seeing a pixel art of a character to all of a sudden seeing an 8K render of said character. i knew what i was in for so i immediately dive into phil’s hug before i stare for too long, and i’ll say for sure that the information overload of not only seeing phil in person but also getting to feel how he hugs you made my brain short circuit and i blacked out in phil’s arms for 0.01 seconds so i don’t fully remember exactly how his hug felt like. (UNFORTUNATELY!!!! AHHH) also at this point the first thing i say to them is “oh my gooood y’all are so beautiful!!” whilst squealing incoherently. i don’t know if they said anything in response to that because, again, information overload!!!

next i hug dan, and that goes perfectly fine. he greets me with a big smile and that’s about as much as i can remember of how he looked like. from this point on i’m too scared to look at them in the face so i settle for looking at myself through my selfie camera that i already had prepared or through the middle distance of them lmao.

i’ll say that for the m&g, dan 100% took charge and was the person who responded to me. i give them my art to sign and they both ooh and ahh enthusiastically while signing. dan in particular goes high pitched with his praise and said “this is so good!!”. i explain to them that i’m an animation student and that they are one of my biggest inspirations in art. dan looks up at me and thanks me. once they’re done signing, dan hands back my art to me and compliments my outfit, “i noticed that you’re matching the show’s theme, i appreciate that” and i tell him something along the lines of “yes of course i had to i’m an artist” but like. i think i flubbed my words and it came out mumbly so idk if he heard me try to be funny dnfvjscs

next, i hand my phone to dan and he and phil immediately go into their standardized meet and greet pose. i had to quickly interject because I PLANNED OUT THIS POSE RIGHT WHEN I GOT THOSE TICKETS and i told them “hey so i have an idea for a pose. basically y’all take a cute selfie and i’m in the bg looking pissed”. i swear i didn’t even get the chance to finish my request because both dan and phil seemed to telepathically know what i wanted and they go into the pose no questions asked and i had to scramble to catch up with their efficiency. we take the picture and dan says something along the lines of “okay now lets take a cute selfie”. we do the normal pose and i’m beaming like a mfer because phil’s holding me and his chin is on my shoulder???? what the heck i stan one man who didn’t talk to me at all during the m&g kdfjcnkjdsncjkdsc (obvs no complaints phil owns my entire heart and soul)

of course, now because i’m a little delirious from phil holding me and dan’s kindness i say “thank you so much” and try to leave so that i can actually breathe but before i go dan stops me (like. he legit looks at me straight in the eyes right as i’m about to walk away and i FREEZE in my spot) and says “keep it up with your art career” and me. kind of extremely shocked that he would be so pointed with his encouragement towards me goes “okay thank you!!” and fucking BOOKS IT.

the only thing after that is, of course, ii. i won’t go into too much detail about the show but i’m so so so so glad san diego got one of the special versions of ii with the phil bucks and phantastic phacts included. by far the best part of the show was the getting real segment though, as phil lester himself walked to the edge of stage RIGHT WHERE I JUST HAPPENED TO BE SITTING IN FRONT ROW and sits there for a good 5 minutes. needless to say i took this time to freely stare at phil so close to me and i truly felt blessed for the allotted amount of time. i love phil a lot.

(the next day, my sister drops the bomb on me that during her m&g she pointed me out to dan and phil and they gushed about me to her saying things like “aww yes you two are matching her art is so good she should keep it up!” just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)

so yes, ii was absolutely one of the best experiences of my life and i could not be prouder of dan and phil for being able to pull off a second world tour that is, in my opinion, so much better than their first. i adore them so much. heck.

he just misses you easily because he’s so attached, and he’ll spend a while with each video call

like it’ll be on your lap, or your shoulder, or the top of your head, or your stomach, just anywhere that’s comfy and convenient

he really likes it when you play with his hair and half the time you’ll accidentally put him to sleep because of it

but he likes playing with your hair too because it has the same soothing effect for him

soooooo he’ll probably fall asleep doing that too, and you’ll probably be asleep from him playing with your hair

if you’re ever sad or depressed, he’s really great with trying to cheer you back up because of how naturally funny he is

so he’ll do random stuff and make random faces to get you to laugh and you usually do because the faces he makes are priceless

but if you’re feeling too sad or depressed to, for instance, get out of bed, then he’ll try his best to provide comfort

he’ll make sure you eat and give you anything you ask for, and he’ll cuddle you and listen to your problems

and if you need advice, he’ll give that too, but sometimes he doesn’t know what advice to give you so he’ll just say something to get you to laugh

if someone ever flirted with you knowing you were his girl, he’d be two things; sad and mad.

he’d be mad at the guy for flirting with you in the first place, and if it escalated enough he’d be willing to take it outside

but he’d also be, not sad per say, but he’d be a bit bummed and clingier than usual when you two got back home

he’d just want to make sure that you love him and wouldn’t ever leave him for someone like that

just don’t get mad at him because of it he’s a precious little bean he means well

speaking of meaning well, he’d also be the type to try to cook dinner

then fail

but he tried :’)

and then you two would order takeout and just chill on the couch (which he likes better anyway lmao)

if you ever buy a plain white shirt, it will not stay white for long because he’ll get a sharpie and just write ‘JUNGKOOK’S GIRL’ or ‘KOOKIE’S BABY’ or ‘I LOVE YOU’ something like that

and it’s cute so maaaaaybe you buy white shirts on purpose, just so he’ll do that

and maaaaybbeee those are your favourite shirts to wear

also, he’s the type to like a picnic date or a carnival date, or something along those lines

just somewhere out in the open bc 1) he has a lot of energy and 2) he likes the variety and whatnot

as far as public affection, he wouldn’t make out in public, he’d be far too shy for that

but he’d kiss you, hold your hand, (lowkey try to smack your butt sometimes), rest his hand in your back pocket, things like that

he’d also try to teach you some of the routines because he thinks it’s cute when you dance, even when you’re doing the sexier moves
