Okay, but like right now all I can imagine is Leon coming home after being gone for a few days to his plus sized house wife, and it’s fucking adorable.

He just immediately hugs her when he gets home, and she takes care of him. Making sure he showers, eats and takes a nap. They cuddle and she makes sure he’s doing okay mentally (I mean he never really is but you know)

She takes his mental health really seriously cause he doesn’t. He will drop everything to take care of her and her mental health, but he won’t do the same for himself. So she does it, she is just constantly making sure he is okay.

Also you bet your ass this woman would get into an argument with the president of the United States for her husband.

And like people know her, when he has to ever go to event or something she is coming with. Mainly cause he loves her, and he doesn’t like people. She’s his extrovert or at least more extroverted than he is, he just brings her with to every social event he can.

He’s incredibly sad when he can’t bring her with. He just hides in a corner with like Hunnigan if it’s a work thing.

it’s hard for me to feed myself right now (just in terms of physical ability), so my mom drove me and the animals to her place. she carried the cats in first, because I had to butt-scoot up the front stairs, and once inside, Pangur got scared and ran. she’s tucked herself away somewhere, and nobody can find her. I probably could, and I could lure her out and make her feel safe again, except that I’m largely immobile. I keep falling on the crutches and fucking my leg up further, and the likeliest hiding spots are up or down a fleet of stairs. it’s been 4 hours, and it’s killing me not to look for her. I’m so tempted to crawl down the basement stairs, broken leg be damned.

Huh, you know, Miquella divesting Trina reminds me of this discussion when the base game came out that Radagon was trying to undermine Marika & take over completely (his portraits & statues depict him in heroic and in control pose, while Marika was crucified with eyes downcast).

Now with the DLC proving that it’s Marika who is the emotions, the part that is heavy with love and rage and sorrow, I wonder if she knew had Radagon succeeded, the current rotten Order would persist, so better to drag him to death with her too, right now. Shatter it all.

Her smashing the Elden ring turns out to be motivated by so many legit reasons, after all. The realization that she had become just like the oppressors who stuff her people into jars, the death of Godwyn, her separation from Messmer, Death was back, Radagon was trying to cast her away to maintain the current status quo… wow.

There’s a $500 laptop at the phone store across the street that would let me stream and start making money and building my community again, but realistically I can’t afford to spend that much money in one month, that’s more than my rent.

I know this isn’t the best cause or most important thing ever but I’ve had the same shit laptop that barely functions for 5 years now, and it’s probably going to die soon anyways, in which case I will be completely fucked as I am disabled and can’t make it to most in person jobs, I mostly work from home when I’m employed. Plus you know, there’s that whole thing where my entire life is online and all of my relationships are long distance.

Downfall has only just started, but already I'm deeply curious what Bells Hells reaction will be to seeing it play out. I've mentioned before that I suspect the dislike or outright disdain some of the party feels for the gods - most notably Ashton and Laudna, but also Imogen at times - is in part a product of the gods being so distant as to not feel like real people to them, and therefore being easy scapegoats.

It’s easy to see the mortal victims of Ludinus and the Vanguard as just that: victims. The Hells have met them, have been them. They have not seen or felt the gods suffer in the same way. Laudna even went so far as to blame the gods for mortal deaths and suffering after the solstice, even as the gods are the ones under attack. They feel uniquely abandoned by the world, and it's easy to blame these distant, powerful figures for their hardship. Certainly much easier than to see the mortal systems that enabled their harm, or to actively seek improvement on their own.

But to see the gods now, not just as people but as mortals, with all the flaws and vulnerabilities and fears of any of the Hells, with loved ones of their own and the same desperate sense of self-preservation as any living thing, will they be able to hold onto the disdain that they’ve clung to for so long?
