Donnie started slowly climbing down with the robo arms staring at you as he wall climbed down.

"Ah, but oh my starlight, what you fail to realize is that, you, my dear, you are my biggest fan- ooo, you have the little mini fans!"

He grabbed one from you, sticking it to his battle shell, the tiny fan went back and forth, bringing his neck a graze of cool bliss. He breathed a sigh of relief.

"You have no idea how much I needed this, it's been killer having to work under these conditions."

"I know, you'd be undoubtedly deceased without my help."

You said dramatically, flailing a hand on your forehead while giving your best 'sad actors' face. He gave a sarcastic laugh, helping you set up the other fans you had brought, you even brought a tiny fan for S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N :).

"So, do you mind to tell me why you bought so many fans?"

"I've had these fans forever? What do you mean bought?"

He held up one of the fans, the price sticker was still on it.

"ah."

"Now, care to explain thine self?"

You sighed and rolled your eyes, you didn't want to point out his insecurities, but you knew if you didn't, he'd be hounding you all day.

"Sooo, ya know how you don't really take off your shell? Your battle shell I mean."

"Obviously, what of it?"

"Welllll, I thought how since you wouldn't take it off, how you would over heat, and I didn't want you to burn up, but I didn't want you to be uncomfortable and paranoid with your shell out, so I made for some accomodations if you say."

You said your words fast, using your hands to make motions as you talked, not looking him directly in the eye. He seemed to just blink at this. He seemed, confused?

"So, what you're saying is, you bought, all these fans, just because you knew how I don't like being around without my battle shell on? Just for me?"

The words just for me stood out to you, he seemed touched, and he laid a hand on his front Plastron near his heart to insinuate himself.

"Of course I did, you big goof-"

"Genius"

He corrected, you sighed.

"Of course I did you big genius, I don't want to make you uncomfortable, but I don't want you to be turned into fried turtle, how would I be able to look at your brilliant inventions, and handsome face on the floor when you're just laying there like a cooked pancake?"

You joked, rubbing his shoulder, you knew he didn't like being touched all that much, so you only rubbed it gently so he could brush you off if needed be. He actually laughed, flapping his hands up and down a bit, which surprised you since he often only did things sarcastically and often didn't show much emotions physically, sure, you've seen him stim before an abundance of times, but you've never seen him actually laugh much.

"A pancake, really? To all the things you can compare me to, a pancake is what you chose?"

"Yes, and I shall demonstrate"

You laid on your stomach, giving some sad look as you rolled side to side a bit.

"Ohhh, poor me, poor Othello Von Ryan, I lay on the floor as miserable as I am, because my loving lover, as lovely as they may be, have not brought me an extra fan, so, I shall lay here, until the end of time, cooking like a pancake, only to be flipped over when I have cooked fully on one side, blehhhhhhhh."

You gave your best dead face, if your eyes could go like crosses, they would. He laughed harder. Having a hand on his knee, but then, in the middle of the laughing, something caught his eye, something white, upon your back, behind the black tank top. Your shirt, after laying on the cool concrete, lifted in the back just right to see what it was. It was a tattoo, of white gears that intermingled with the back of your rib cage, giving the impression that the white gears were inside your skin, each gear was artistically hand made each, along with the shading of your ivory bones. It was beautiful art work, mesmerizing even. When he laughing died down and turned into small hums, you turned your head to look at him.

"See something you like love?"

You joked, until you realized what he was looking at, he was looking at your back, more specifically, your tattoo. He crouched down to get a better look at it before turning his head to the side a bit.

"You didn't tell me you had a tattoo"

"Hm? Oh, that's probably cause I got it pretty recently, I was gonna surprise you when the swelling went down, when it would look better."

You were right, there was a tiny bit of swelling from the needle that tattooed you, though, it wasn't much, if you didn't mention it, he probably wouldn't have noticed it.

"It's beautiful."

You snorted.

"Maybe you should get one too, so we can be matching."

A shiver ran up his shell as he took visibly shivered imagining it.

"Absolutely NOT!!"

You rolled over on your back as you bellied over with laughter, as he explained to you with big hand motions the sensitivity of his shell and how that would never work in a good way.

Getting down to the lair, you felt like melting. How were the boys even surviving this heat?? You were only down there for a couple seconds and you already wanted to leave, but alas, your boyfriend and his brothers needed you.

You joked. Leo gave a quick thanks before running to go get a fan and plug it into the wall. You looked around for your orange boyfriend, before you felt a weight go slack on top of you. It was your boyfriend, laying his skin and plastron on your back, draping his arms at your sides.

He whined, sweat beading down on his forehead.

"M-Mikey haha, let me put these down! You're sweaty!!"

You both chuckled as you put some fans down. Once you did, he grabbed one.

You playfully rolled your eyes as you followed the energetic turtle to his room. His room was covered head to toe in paintings and drawings and memorabilia. He set up the fan in his room, each turn the fan made back and forth made the papers shake and rise in the wind of the fan. He sat you down on the floor.

"One sec! I gotta go get it!"

He raised his finger and went to leave his room. Minutes later, he came back with his hands behind his back.

"Pick a hand!"

You laughed at his over dramatic-ness as he leaned side to side, shaking one arm before shaking the other, trying to confuse and mis direct you. You pointed at his left hand. He smiled and handed you...what the fuck is this? It was an ice cream that looked like that cartoon rabbit if he was possessed and melted, with black gumball eyes, and around those "eyes", the dye on the gum seemed to melt off into the ice cream. Mickey pulled out his own ice cream, except it looked like that one yellow cartoon bird, with the blue gumball eyes doing the same thing.

"Tada! Ice creams! You're lucky I was able to keep them from my brothers! I always keep stuff like this for emergency situations, and this, is def one of those times!!"

He started to lick his ice cream. You laugh.

"Mine looks possessed!"

"And what if he is? Don't judge, let the ghost do what he wants to do."

He said joking, holding up his ice cream and waving it around like a fake ghost.

"Why would you insult me this way Y/N? Whyyy, what have I ever down?"

He was trying to stay in character, trying not to laugh. You played along.

"Oh dear Mr ghost! I'm so very sorry, I didn't expect you to haunt something like kids ice cream! Forgive me for my ignorance."

You lay a hand on you forehead and leaned away dramatically.

"A-a wha?"

You blushed a bit, until you realized that Mikey was making funny kissy faces and he slowly inched the the ice cream near your face. You also leaned, forward, expecting to kiss the ice cream, until you took a huge bite from the forehead. Mikey made a cartoon scream as he shock the ice cream.

"How could you!? My face, my gorgeous face! Oh the world be so cruel!"

Mikey fell backwards, flailing the ice cream with a lose hand, causing the ice cream to accidentally be dragged along your back, you gave a shiver at the new cooler sensation. Mikey broke outta character. Still laughing slightly.

"Omigosh! Sorry Y/N! Here, let me."

He grabbed some paper towels from his drawing desk in his room, art was messy, so he always came prepared! He began to wipe your back, accidentally shifting your shirt up a bit. As soon as he got the ice cream off, your back caught his eyes. You had these tattooed white cracks that cracked all the way from your neck, to your lower back. He sat there in awe for a second, staring and mesmerizing the shapes they made.

"Omigosh! Omigosh!"

ngl, i feel like one reason i love pokemon horizons so much is because of how much i can relate to liko. i saw some of your ask responses/posts about liko's character development and how others have some rather negative opinions on it. so, i was so curious to see how the episode would play out.

after watching the episode today, i personally think that what liko did does not ruin her development at all? i think it's fair, in the sense that liko is still in the midst of figuring out her path. i don't think her progress needs to be linear, and like kabu said, there is so much to learn from failure.

i also find that these seemingly sudden changes are realistic. on a personal level, even i act in different ways than i and others expect. in an academic setting, most people perceive me as confident and assertive because i lead projects and recite a lot, but there are times i hesitate out of fear (what if i can't do it? what will others think of me? what if my professor/supervisor thinks i'm incapable/stupid?). i've also experienced passing up the opportunity to someone else, only to regret it later and wish i stepped up.

liko feels very much like a younger sister to me, because i understand what it's like to grow up and how COMPLICATED that process is. personally, i think it's great that they add some moments like this in her journey. anyway, yeah these are my thoughts!

Honestly you put the words right into my mouth! Character development and growth isn't always linear! Sometimes I feel like those who are 'critical' about Liko's character forget that she's still ultimately a kid, a preteen at best. That's an age where you're continuously learning about yourself, trying to figure out who you are. Liko's a kind hearted, considerate girl. We've seen since episode one that she's the sort who overthinks, thinking that what she's doing is the best course of action but ultimately she didn't realize she wasn't considering the feelings of those around her.

What I feel like is one of Horizons' biggest strengths is that they touch upon topics that both kids and adult could relate to. Friede finding that being a professor isn't all that cracked up to be. Losing a friend over a disagreement. Showing kids that adults aren't totally different from them, that it's normal for them to cry too. Liko still figuring out her path, that there's even success in failures because you've got an opportunity to grow from it instead of it being a do-or-die situation.

You can fail. You can grow. You can achieve. I love how these themes are shown in the episodes.

And you're totally right about how complicated the process of growing up is! Even when you reached adulthood, it's still a work in progress to learn who you are, what you want, what your dreams are. It's nice to know that you see Liko as a younger sister! I too see her as one who I want to help her navigate through the intricacies of growing up.

Yay new prompts! The yorozu one was super funny loved seeing Yuuji go off honestly the boy deserves to be a bit wild ok he needs an outlet outside of fighting curses and sex because those are so emotionally intense. Fighting a bitch in a parking lot while screaming increasingly creative insults though yeah that's just cathartic without any lingering depth or complexity. They should start a fight club. Just Yuuji and Yorozu meeting up in secret every once in a while to beat the shit out of each other. It's better than therapy (it's not but it's better than nothing... probably). Damn Sukuna got a bit of a show he's so funny I love when he acts like a chaos gremlin. He's finally able to assume his ideal form of a super clingy murder boyfriend. Man he was so cute when Yuuji picked him up and he just grabbed on delightful chapter.

As for the other chapter 🥵 oh man ok I'm not usually into fuck or die at all it's just not my thing but that was really good. I liked when Sukuna revealed he likes Yuuji's singing voice. I would love to know how Sukuna was feeling because he's good at hiding his feelings behind snark. He was surprisingly gentle in his own way it could have been a lot worse and I thought it was sweet how he caught Yuuji after and killed the curse. ... as for the baby making bit 😳😈 ohhh noo how awfulll... there might be a baby on the way ... a little prince of curses ❤️. Damn it it's not my prompt but I want a sequel with pregnant Yuuji so bad imagine what that would be like I feel like he'd be a lot less calm about it than Sukuna. It might be weird being pregnant while being the baby daddies vessel though not sure how I feel about that they'd have to get Sukuna his own body otherwise it would get too crowded.

It is fun to write Yuuji when he goes off as he has a lot of angry boy energy in the story, so fitting he gets his time to shine in stories! I wanted an angle where he and Yorozu come to some sort of understanding as I think her character was a bit underutilized and just made to be crazy stalker ; w ; Wish we got to see a bit more of her to get more familiar so took an angle with Yuuji trying to set her up with other sorcerers lol

For the second one, I left it ambiguous on the pregnancy part as I feel Sukuna would just say that to mess around with poor Yuuji who would not know if that is possible or not in this weird world of curses XD Sukuna feels like the type that would make the poor boy anxious just for a giggle hehe XD Was more funny to me to leave it at that and let Yuuji overthink it XD Glad you enjoyed both stories!

I find it almost impossible to talk about this but I'm trying because I've found it's really the only thing that helps a little bit - and it feels like literal torture, like. I am having to actively fight every instinct in my head to be able to type any of it.

okay, I'll try a different way. so. I get extremely obsessed with fictional characters (which you know if you've ever looked at this blog because duh). obviously that means I think about them. a lot. all the time really. and it's. it is really really hard, honestly. just like. imagine having to basically check every. little. thought. to see if there's anything there that could make you a bad person.

again, can't go into any more detail because My Brain (probably should stop saying that, I guess it's like, part of the ocd tendencies I have or whatever) won't fucking let me.

so, I'm trying to work on that, and for some reason I'm doing that by writing it down instead. because then I have like, the option to go back and look at it and be like actually this is probably fine. not horrible, not the worst thing anyone has ever thought, and even if it was - no one but me is ever going to see this, so why should it even matter?

but more than anything it's like. shown me how fucking insane that is. I literally can't even write so much as like. a hug. without feeling like I'm the most disgusting piece of shit ever (lots of complicated reasons but it boils down to basically. well you're thinking about his body. and that his body would feel nice. and that is absolutely not allowed in any way). when I've said that I'm writing some insane shit I don't mean like haha, this is sooo dirty hehe :3 no guys I mean it is literally insane and mostly me literally having to write paragraphs of dialogue in which the character assures me that it's okay and I'm not horrible for thinking that and. like I'm literally writing him as if he's my fucking therapist because that's the only way I can justify it in my own head.

like, I am not exaggerating when I say that I've made myself feel like I'm physically ill from overthinking this so much. I literally felt like I had a fever because I got so extremely stressed out about it. I think that was about like. holding hands or some shit. I'm 32 fucking years old. I'm literally married (won't even get into that but fuck dude just imagine being like this and. yeah).

and the funniest part about all of that is that I feel so unbelievably ashamed about all of it that I don't think I could even mention it to a therapist or whatever. like the thought alone is so absolutely horrifying that it makes me feel like I need to be punished for it. so I just convince myself that well it can't really be OCD anyway because I don't even have compulsions anymore (even though I did, and they affected my life so much for like, 15 years at least), and well even if it could still be that even without the compulsions well it's not that bad really. I mean I don't have the issues that people with actual OCD have, it doesn't really affect me, so what if I can't think about fucking that fictional guy, imagine how much a therapist would laugh at you for thinking you should get help with that, nope your brain is just fundamentally broken (it's always been that way after all, so it can't be something like that, no you're just broken and wrong and that's why all your thoughts are bad, you're just the worst person on Earth).

I can't explain how hard it is to even like. just talk about the most mundane shit. like let's say there's a picture of The Guy and I think he looks good. it's such a struggle to let myself say that. like literally, something as fucking basic as that. literally anything that is an admission of 'hi I've thought about his face and his body and I think they look kind of nice' makes me feel like I should literally die. that's why I've been trying to say that shit as much as I can lately, with the reasoning being well if I just keep doing it and nothing horrible happens it'll get easier right? (nope it doesn't, not really)

and like, there's so much more to it than social media, obviously. like it's probably 99% my upbringing (didn't even fucking realise until very recently that a lot of it is based on religious stuff because I didn't understand that my family was even that religious. yeah I don't get it either. but there's way more than the religion aspect, just pretty much everything about my childhood and my parents and. everything). but it does play a huge part in it for me and. I don't know what to do about that and I'll probably do nothing because doing anything is hard and I'm already completely overwhelmed by everything.

Oh gods. Dude, assuming that Shenhe and her sibling were born from the same mother, and that their father also tries to sacrifice the siblingalong with her, imagine how much worse Shenhe's rage could be? Like, it's already bad enough in cannon that the adepti had to essentially emotionally numb her, now you add in the equation of a sibling who was put in that same, horrific situation…

I could see Shenhe's younger sibling also acting as a sort of emotional support, helping quell her homicidal thoughts when they are at their worst. Maybe they do carry a grudge towards their father for trying to offer them up to the remnants of an evil God, but maybe it's not as bad as Shenhe's, so they didn't need to be numbed like she did.

Honestly, there's a few potential routes that could be taken with older sibling Shenhe. Lots of possibilities of how the two's dynamic could be handled!

Ooooh, while we're on the topic, what do you think could be some potential vision options for the younger sibling? 🤔I could see maybe Pyro, as an opposite to Shenhe, perhaps showing how they might be a bit more in-touch with their emotoins than she may be, or perhaps Electro, as a representation of how outcasted they may feel due to how the people of Liyue near-comstantly mistake them for Adpeti (because that's an unusually common trait of many Electro vision holders have, being outcasts of a sort in someway, somehow).

THAT'S SOMETHING I WAS THINKING ABOUT and i think that is soo fucked up. but you know, if they were also sacrificed with her, i think shenhe would just be so impossibly protective of them as they are raised among the adepti. that's her baby sibling, man. she would sooner die than let them get hurt. and that second option!! i think that has its own appeals. i feel like shenhe would want to meet them. i'm not sure why? but i feel like she'd want to know them. and maybe they also had a rough relationship with dadhe, since he... you know. sacrificed his first child. he already doesn't seem like a particularly great dad based on that fact alone (but i haven't read shenhe's lore in a while, so perhaps he was decent before his wife died? or maybe he was always a poor dad idk. ultimately it's insane that he decided to LITERALLY SACRIFICE HIS CHILD PLEASEEE).

and, as for chongyun's referral to shenhe, i think it's a cultural thing actually. i could be wrong because i am not chinese and have never been anywhere near china as a whole, but i think it's culturally appropriate for younger boys to call older women auntie. in chongyun & shenhe's case specifically, i think it is also a matter of their closeness. i also don't think they are bio-related, rather, i think shenhe just took up the auntie role in his life. i could be wrong about that too LMAO but yeah!!

that's very true, though! i think they would be good at helping to keep her calm. and i feel like shenhe would harbor the majority of the rage. like. her younger sibling also cannot stand the thought of their dad, but is much calmer about it than shenhe is.

ok !! yall need so many updates from me aaa i'll try to speedrun them n not give u too much junk to read hehe

the main thing is, today i took a huuuge train ride home from uni !! i was on the road for a super long time but i got tons of reading done :3 but for about a month , i won't be seein any of my uni lore people in person ;; it's gonna be weird for sure since i've spent so much time around them recently, but i think in some cases (ie meadow lol) the distance will be good to help me rly evaluate what i'm getting out of that closeness n whether it's worth it.

plus, i'll get to hang out with my friends from here more too !! theres TONS of interesting stuff goin on with them too, so i'm sure there'll b more of that !!

anyway, here's a mini recap of some stuff that's happened since my last entry !!

i had a big night out with a bunch of people !! my first stop was an indie music night with odie and jiji, then after that down to a queer club night where we met meadow and one of their friends !! we also ran into another classmate who we didn't know was even queer, n he ended up joining us for the night :D

i also ran into a bunch more people i know !! specifically winter and (new character time) wave, who i'll add to the masterlist sooon :3

overall it was super fun n they played a bunch of my favorite songs :3 i love gay people <3

remember how i said 'as per jiji's advice i'm gonna try n keep some distance from meadow'? yeah i for sure did not do that. we explored a retail park n saw a movie on one day, did field work in the city another, n kept walking to class together almost every day !! i am ,, so tired !!

honestly, the crush might be beginning to fade, or just shapeshift into a friendship. i'm becoming more n more aware of potential red flags or just reasons i might not personally want to date them.. mainly, we're just really different in terms of personality. compared to when i'm hanging out with jiji and odie, i just mask around meadow a lot more. i overthink a lot, they tease me over my silly cringe interests n traits (of which there are a lot lol) instead of hyping me up , and i know they don't mean anything of it but i'm tired of being constantly reminded of how Different i am from them ,, and by extension from most people.. ok but wait there was last night .......

we went to a candlelight concert !! to any pair of people other than us, it probably would've been super romantic. what a waste of a perfect night, right? but it was still nice. we dressed up extra pretty, the music was nice, we sat right at the back of a beautiful church and listened to basically a classical music concert. i drank mulled wine in the intermission, there were about 20 christmas trees all decorated and themed after different charities and local organisations. crush thoughts aside, it was a really magical experience for what it cost (15 pounds yippee) :3

but , of course , since i knew that if i got home after that i'd have the most miserable yearning-filled night, i helped set up a pizza party with my flatmates (and odie) instead !! so jiji, comet, and our fourth roommate chipi !! i'm surprised i haven't mentioned him yet, at some point he should get a loredump post of his own since there's a lot to unpack with him lol

anyway the pizza party went great , save for the worlds worst phonecall with the pizza place which i foolishly volunteered to have. that pizza place employee in particular encompasses all the reasons i get anxious about phone calls.. yikes!

ok i think that's everything interesting that's happened so far !! here's to hoping i can have a nice relaxing (but still productive !!) month off. well , aside from the 6 giant essays i need to research and write >< but it's fine, i'll cope :,) bye for now !!

Has a very wide area of interest and knowledge, so he will kinda act like your personal guide.

His eyes are sparkling throughout the date. He's just so excited, he's always wanted to take a loved one to visit a museum, and since it's with you he couldn't be happier.

Ok. But. Imagine. It. Being. An. Art. Museum.

He may not be a painter or sculptor but has a very fine artistic knowledge and a keen eye for artistic value as well.

He will definitely be appreciating each and every piece.

Even still knowing him–

Obviously being obsessed with eternity for so long she hasn't given herself the chance to appreciate all that exists and all that used to exist.

But now that she has you and now that she has finally begun noticing the present she will try to go along with your idea.

She probably hesitated at first since she thinks she's not ready face her people in the public just yet cause she's still mentally recovering. But also because she thinks she may not be up to your expectations in a place such as a museum. Though that doesn't mean she does not possess her fair share of worldly knowledge as a goddess, she's just afraid that you'll view her emotion for it as shallow, because she just knows it, she hasn't held it in any particular regard. All she has is empty knowledge.

But she still knows that she's safe with you so after a while of overthinking and careful consideration she'll agree.

"Fine. I accept your proposition. You really won't give up huh. "

Quite stoic though her expression gives her away.

*whisper* " If you weren't so cute I'd be able to put up more of a fight."

"Hm? What was that?"

"NOTHING."

Expect her to be very shy.

She isn't used to this atmosphere.

Unknowingly she really impressed you with her understanding of so many things even if it lacks emotional value, it just made you fall deeper in love with her.

You compliment her throughout the day.

Hearing it just makes her melt, and she has a smile on her face for the rest of the day.

She really didn't expect to enjoy this date so much.

On the way home she gives you a piggy back ride because you complained about your feet being dead. (She blushed the whole time)

Overall, she really treasures this experience with you.

Was honestly a little curious when you suggested the idea.

Not particularly used to such confined areas.

She is like Ei but alot more stoic and expressionless.

Though she doesn't hesitate to accept. She may not be able show it but she's actually excited.

"Sounds intriguing. I'm in."

You were quite surprised at her readiness, and it kinda made your heart beat faster.

Because c'mon that's adorable.

She hasn't had a very active relationship with the human world so she's kinda clueless about everything she sees.

You have to do explain everything to her. But you actually enjoy doing it because witnessing her experiencing a museum for the first is really wholesome.

She's like a little kid.

Questioning everything she sees.

May have gotten scolded more than once for touching the displays.

There is the tiniest hint of a pout when the security guard gives her a warning.

Also this is based on the school sytem in my country in Europe. I’m not as lucky as some of you that don’t have much subjects. I have 18 subjects lol. :’D

Bennett

You had to cancel yet another one of your dates because you had to study for the upcoming oral exam that was next week. You had to learn all the materials you learned this year so far and refresh your memory of the last year’s.

But that was only one subject, you had 12 other classes that had upcoming exams and all of that got you on the edge. You would study 24/7, sometimes even forgetting to eat until you had a feeling like your stomach acid was eating away the stomach itself. And not to mention low-key dehydration, exhaustion and stress leaving you with severe headaches.

You felt really bad because you just didn’t feel like you know everything that you needed to know to get a good grade. This year was important to you since the next year is your last year and if you wanted to get in good college, you needed to ace those two years.

And so, your overthinking and stressing has once again left you no choice but to pull an all-nighter and take a raincheck on your movie date.

You pulled out your phone and opened the texting app, sending Benny a text.

‘Hey Benny, I’m sorry but I’ll have to take a raincheck on our movie date tonight. I don’t think I’m ready for the upcoming oral exam and I’ll probably just stress during the whole movie so I’ll study the whole night and we can have this date soon then.’

You felt guilty as you hit sent and waited for Benny’s reply. Soon he was online and he opened your text. You saw him start typing and your mind went into overthinking mode once again. What if he gets upset? Maybe I could study during the movie so I can spend some time with him!

‘Hey y/n.’

‘Don’t worry it’s fine! I know how important this is to you, don’t worry about it okay? Just please don’t overwork yourself and don’t stress so much, I believe you will do amazing! 👍’

How can he be so fricking adorable?

In reality, Bennett was really worried about you. He put away his text book and stared at your message. You canceled so many dates lately and when you did see him, you looked so tired, your eyebags visible from a mile away. You probably didn’t sleep enough. Not to mention hydrate.

He really considered going to your house to comfort you, but as he got up from bed to start getting ready and making his way to you, he fell on the floor and had a breakthrough. Eureka!

He instead decided to go visit you tomorrow and bring you your favorite food and some fruit flavored water. And then, he will bring some rom-com movie you two can enjoy and cuddle you to sleep. And as a cherry on top, he decided to bake you your favorite dessert!

If only our Bennett wasn’t so unlucky and clumsy.

Not only did he mess up the dessert, letting it stay in the oven for a tad bit too long, he grabbed the wrong movie, instead picking up a copy of the cartoon Ice Age. And he fell and scratched his knee on his way to your home. So, when he finally got to you, he only teeny-tiny bit looked like a mess.

But fear not because he will comfort you even if that’s the last thing he do!

After you recovered from the first shock of seeing him show up with some delicious, hot and fresh food (that has not been affected by any elements) you took care of his little bloody scratch.

After that you two ate the food, even eating some of the dessert that has not been burnt, at least you didn’t eat the burnt ones, Bennett probably ate them and gave you only the best ones. He made sure you drink plenty of water and went to pharmacy to buy you some painkillers for your aching head.

And then, finally, movie time.

“Uh… y/n, I-I made a mistake. I accidentally grabbed the copy of Ice Age… I’m sorry.”

“Are you kidding me? That’s exactly what I need right now, I love that movie!”

You two got comfortable in your bed, you laid your head on Bennett’s chest, hugging his torso. One of his hands was around your waist, keeping you close and the other was rubbing your arm in soothing motion. Your legs were intertwined and Benny made sure you were extra comfortable.

The movie started and about half way in he could feel your even breathing and hear little snores coming from your slightly opened mouth. That’s what he wanted. He wanted you to get some sleep so he decided to carefully turn off the TV so you two could get some rest. But in his clumsy attempt to not wake you up that’s exactly what he did.

“Uhm, what’s wrong?” your voice was hoarse and with thick layer of sleep.

“I’m sorry,” he gave you his dazzling smile, “nothing’s wrong. Let’s rest for a bit.”

You hummed in approval and snuggled closer into his chest, letting his rapid heartbeat lull you to sleep as he watched you with flushed cheeks.

Man, he’s really happy he managed to help you relax for a bit, he loves you and he can’t bear the thought of you stressing so much to the point of risking getting sick.

He kept you close and warm while you slept. His affection giving you the much-needed comfort.

When you wake up be sure he will make sure you have a proper meal and drink a lot of water. Then he will study with you, making you laugh a bit by being his goofy, positive self. And then he’ll try asking you questions about the stuff you’re learning to prove to you that you do know enough for a good grade.

Expect a lot of compliments like “You’re so smart y/n!” and “Good job, y/n! I knew you could learn this!” and a lot of words of encouragement.

And for every correct answer you get a hug, kiss on the cheek and a smile or laugh from Bennett, to help you motivate.

If you actually get the answer wrong, don’t worry! Benny’s here to make you laugh! He would say stuff like “Don’t worry y/n, I’m sure you’ll get the next one! You’ll still ace this exam, I believe in you!” AND his adorable smile. If you however still feel down, you’ll get a tight embrace and a peck on the tip of your nose.

And don’t be afraid to ask him to do this “study dates” more often because he loves seeing you being happy and relaxed while also helping you, and he’s also having a lot of fun giving you your rewards.

Also is it obvious I prefer cartoons over rom-coms?
