Block and divest from celebrities and influencers -the one's who make millions/billions and continue to remain willfully ignorant and silent about genocide. This newest 'strategy,' for folks who have the time to do so online -please do.

Not saying that Hollywood studios are committing blatant financial fraud or anything, but the writer of the original Men in Black being told that after 3 sequels, a hit song, a WB cartoon series and a comic book being told “this franchise has never made money” is rather shady.

Didn’t Mark Hamill say they once sent him a letter every year claiming Star Wars never made any money?

Rain: *enters a creepy old shop* Oh wow! This shop has everything my heart desires! Spooky Shopkeeper: Yes. I will warn you though… Every item comes with a price Rain: Yeah, I know how shops work. Spooky Shopkeeper: The price may be more than you expect to pay… Rain: I’m familiar with US sales tax too. Spooky Shopkeeper: *increasingly exasperated* I’m trying to tell you that I’m evil and selling these wares with no regard as to the harm they might do! Rain: *also increasingly exasperated* Yes! I know what Capitalism is too!

The issue with genetically modified foods isn’t their being genetically modified—unfortunately, in this sense it has become a snarl word for crunchy granola morons to expound their fears (and ignorance) of modern poisons evilly wreaking irreparable damage on bodies that should only eat “pure,” “acceptable” plant matter grown in a sacred grove’s grotto and constantly bathed in moonlight or whatever.
The real issue is that companies like monsanto are attempting to patent the genes of their products along with patenting the plants themselves and the genetic modification processes used to breed and raise them. They have already sued farmers in countries like mexico and india for accidentally growing crops that crossbred with monsanto seeds due to cross-pollination, and, as recompense, have tried to seize their land. Monsanto already has a nigh monopoly on the seed market and many farmers are forced to buy from them—what will happen then, in a market already dominated by a single few multinationals, attempting to expand that control further by the way of natural biological processes via arguing that actually, they have a patent awarded to them, so now natural growth of plants has no bearing on the rights of the individual? What kind of precedent will this set if dna can be patented by a single company and commercialised?

“anarchy. Rather, the notion of anarchy, being grounded in an anti-authority mindset, primarily targets government because it views government as unnecessarily oppressive. Instead of relying on a modicum of government structure, anarchy relies on human association instead of government to fulfill all human needs. Some of the major ideas that anarchists promote include collectivism, mutualism/mutual aid, and social solidarity, and these same ideas are frequently seen in the Defend the Atlanta Forest movement.”
