This is how I imagined TF1 Arcee ( This is an early sketch with flat colours)

I'm on my recovery break so I didn't want to go past the sketch phase

I tried to be as true to the TF1 "art style" as I could ( she gave me a hard time cuz I'm very blind to details and there's just so much going on )

I got inspired by her IDW backstory

This design was before she received her T-cog / she transitioned

Also, her dead name is "R-C15"

Before she Renamed herself "Arcee" she didn't wanted to change her name mainly because she didn't had that hard of a time in the Energon mines and she had more pleasant memories than the bad ones

But her girlfriend Aileron ( idk if that's her real name) liked to call her "Arcee" so later she adopted that name

In terms of her alt mode, it probably would've been some kind of two-wheeler

I'm not sure about her personality YET but I think I would be between TFP Arcee and TFE Arcee though I still gotta think about that

Also gotta think about her backstory too

I'm gonna make her "after receiving the T-cog" design later I just had to get this out before I forget

And I don't want to over-work myself either

Love how the Transformers fandom created the concept of seeker trines. We took Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker, gave them very distinct personalities, and assigned them a very complex emotional bond. The actual nature of that bond varies depending on who you ask, but everyone agrees it is spark-deep and very special.

We did all of this for three characters that probably only exist because some suits at Hasbro (or Takara-Tomy) in the 80s were like hmmmmmmmm how do we sell the same toy three times and get 3x the profit out of one character design

Well Critters it's Bells Hells Live Show Day! That snuck up on us quickly didn't it? Felt almost like a few weeks ago that they announced it!

Alas, being across the pond (also tomorrow's Father's Day in the UK) I will have to wait for the VOD, sitting here with my usual Thursday night doses of anticipation, imagination and anxiety, but I hope all that are attending have a great night. I know everybody likes to give characters the same 10 songs on their character playlists, but I think the most egregious issue with this is that no one gives them any country songs. I am handing them out to characters like candy. You get a country song, you get a country song, you get a country song.

I never wrote about winning the cosplay contest at STSF (lol wild), but here's the prize certificate:

On the one hand, I (almost didn't enter and) didn't think I was going to win, but on the other hand, they kept talking about a cash prize. And ok, cash prizes have weird legal issues or whatever, but this certificate is bound only to the Creation merch tables, where they sell t-shirts and bags with AI art on them. I asked what I could use it for and the lady said "maybe" I could put it towards a photo op, but it also says no tickets, so that's still up in the air.

That night, Eugene Cordero was hanging out with us at the afterparty (lol hey Rutherford (!!!???) you're super chill) and someone mentioned I'd won the contest/I probably said something about my $500 worthless prize. So he signed it to make it worth "less"

ANYWAY, all this to say

If I can use it towards a photo op (doubtful), and there is a group Voyager cast shot (cause hello expensive and I am, how you say, not formally employed), I think it'd be hilarious to do Threshold mutant Tom Paris

It seems highly doubtful, but it's a thought that at least keeps me quite amused

On the way to the lab today I came across an poster for the harmonica ensemble (had no idea we had one) and instantly thought of Jack. Maybe if his school had one he wouldn't be obsessed with driving motorcycles. He'd be worried about missing music class and stuff. I hope in another universe he talks to Miko about music sometimes and they make a sick rendition of country music and metal rock.
