I feel like he's not an easy man to get. He knows about your existence and has noticed you walking through the halls of Arkham Asylum before, but never really paid any attention to you.

^ Mainly because he always noticed you through the corner of his eyes, since he's always extremely busy and he can't distract himself with someone in the middle of his work.

But, that immediatly changes the day you were on your shift and he needed some medical assistance, so they had to call you.

At first, he looked like a very cold on the outside, but on the inside he's actually charmed by your sweetness and how well you took care of his wounds.

You were slightly nervous around him mostly because he looks very intimidating 😅 But you did your job properly, so everything went well.

Obviously he won't say anything about that to you, nor extremely compliment you. He'd just kindly thank you and tell you you're dismissed.

After that, he couldn't help but keep thinking about you and your enchanting personality.

That wasn't your only encounter, of course. He kept calling you to his office for stupid little things, only as an excuse to see you and talk to you once again.

Expect him to deny his blooming feelings for you! He never thinks about dating or starting a relationship with someone, but there's something about you that he just can't ignore.

Eventually he just gives up and admits to himself that he's got a crush for you, and a soft spot, too.

Honestly he loves seeing you take care of the inmates. You're always so sweet, compassionate for everyone, and so understanding...you're the only one who really makes him get flustered.

He takes extra care of you, now. He'll probably always send a guard to watch out for you, just to make sure an inmate doesn't hurt you.

If an inmate is aggressive and you have to attend that specific inmate, he'll come up with a random excuse just to replace someone in your place, and send you to look out for a less aggressive inmate.

If an inmate ever injuries/badly hurts you, beware because he's a walking thunderstorm. Don't be surprised if he gives a special visit to that inmate and uses his fear toxin on him.

The next day, if you ask him about the inmate, he'll probably tell you he had a mental breakdown or something, and also not to worry because he'll be the one in charge of the situation.

You're literally the most and only privileged nurse in Arkham tbh

Generally he just overprotects you a lot, and your co-workes tease you often with that.

You've seen and met each other so many times that you've grown a special trust on each other.

You're the only one in all of Arkham whom he's shown his Scarecrow mask and talked about his recent work regarding fear.

Please compliment his mask and his studies on fear, he'll love hearing your opinion about it.

Also, if you leave his office with a goodbye kiss on the cheek, oh boy...you'd leave him blushing like a little girl!

He's just not used to that type of physicality, so honestly he appreciates it, but only because you're the one showing physical affection to him.

Over the passing of time, he'll eventually return the affection by, probably, hugging you in private spaces and kissing your head.

It took him a while until he asked you out. He was too afraid (ironic) that you'll either reject him or think that he's unprofessional and lose all the trust you've gained.

So it took him a few good months to think about how he would ask you out for a date without scaring you off.

Surprise surprise! You accepted having a date with him, and he's over the moon about it.

He'd be so nervous about it like he's never been before, you've got quite a strong effect on him.

Of course, he makes sure no one knows about your little dates with him. What everyone does knows is that you're very close to Dr Crane, so you've earned some respect and good reputation on Arkham Asylum.

Just, be prepared to have all his entire attention. Once you've got him around your finger, he's yours. He's very loyal, and makes sure nobody disrespects or even dares to hurt you. ❤

He finds it interesting that you visit someone here [Arkham], who could it be? Upon noticing who it is you may be visiting, and as to whom it is that you are, he becomes intrigued in your story. As such, he wishes to find out every little thing, perhaps then his mind can rest.

Nevertheless, he finds out more about with or without you knowing, using his ties with Carmine Falcone to easily track you and your activities.

Using this knowledge [and his criminal ties], he slowly inserts himself into your life, using the school that you go to to give lectures of pharmacotherapy, and psychology, trying to persuade you by the littlest things, and then moving to bigger ways to put him into your life.

Although he has still yet to understand that he is obsessed with you, he assures himself that it is simply a scientific obsession, seeing as most people who visit Arkham end up with a dose of fear gas and seeing you just simply not react to the effects of it interests him.

So in his attempts to insert himself into your life, he finds out more and more about you that make him interested even if he doesn't realize it.

By the time he realizes he wants you, and that he must take care of you, Ra's Al Ghul is almost there. So he stages an attack on you, and steals you then, when Batman is too busy to realize what happened to one singular civilian.

Xjdkdhckdkx I just found your blog and I’ve already read too many of your fics. I love the way you write for Jonathan Crane. It’s so refreshing to see my favorite character soft and sweet, it’s so cute. Too damn good!

With that being said, if I may, I gotta request this. I’ve noticed the man rarely smiles and doesn’t laugh throughout all three moves and it hurts my heart. Soooo, how about our good ol’ Murphy Johnny boy with a very playful reader that takes any and every opportunity to see him smile and hear him laugh. you're very sweet :) im glad you love my fics for him and honestly, i know what you mean. it sucks to see him not smile often because aside from his beautiful eyes, Cillian Murphy's smile has me WEAK. but yeah, i like writing my characters soft because im a firm believer that no matter how grumpy they are, they will always have the softest spot for their significant other

(im well aware this isn't from the dark knight trilogy, but like...look at his smileeee)

You were a menace in Jonathan's life, but he loved that about you

Especially when you'd jumps care him because...well, he was the Scarecrow, so it was ironic.

You'd also do anything to see him smile and laugh, so he'd constantly try to hold it all back, but you were you and he couldn't hold it back for too long

Especially when you'd tickle him in the middle of cuddle sessions.

He lowkey loved it.

Sometimes you'd ruffle his hair for fun to see him smile.

If he ever had a bad day, that was the perfect pick me up.

Then one time you threw a pillow at him to get his reaction which made him throw it back at you, hiding a smile

But when you threw it back, making his glasses fall off his face, he couldn't help but laugh.

"Why though?!"

Was his only question in between his laughter.

You then would casually slide a few dumb pickup lines his way.

"I would never play hide and seek with because someone like you is impossible to find."

He shook his head with a smile on his face.

"If you were a Transformer, you'd be Optimus Fine."

He shut his eyes and laughed.

He loved and hated your pickup lines because they were funny but stupid.

Since you knew he was Scarecrow, you'd wear his mask sometimes, pretending you were him.

"They scream and they cry!"

He couldn't help but cackle at your words as you slid on the wooden floors of his home with the mask on.

He told you about the incident with Falcone once, so he was surprised you remembered it.

Honestly, he loved when you put the mask on because when he'd put it on, it would smell faintly of your shampoo, instantly making him smile underneath it.

Even when you were sick, you managed to crack a few jokes which would make him chuckle, but he'd tell you to relax so you'd get better

"I hate how handsome you are. You're out here living your best life and I'm here with a cold!"

"You're still beautiful."

"Don't lie to me!"

The glare you'd give him would make you stifle a laugh as he gave you a ginger tea.

He loved how nothing stopped you from making him laugh or smile.

You once made a joke about how Batman could have "throw hands" with you if he caught your boyfriend again.

He couldn't deny how funny he thought it was.

I mean, sure, it would never happen especially with the skills Batman had.

There was a time where you wanted him to smile so bad that you squished his cheeks together, telling him he had to lighten up.

He took your hands off of his face and laughed.

"You're unbelievable!"

"You love it though!"

It was true.

You were his light, and he wasn't letting you go.

About metadede headcanons (it's not much of a headcanon more like how their relationship evolved and my headcanon timeline about the Kirby games)

•They were friends since childhood.

•They stayed as friends until Dedede declared himself the king of dreamland, they were traveling through stars until that and meta didn't wanted to stay in one star for the rest of his life and wanted to go adventuring through space.

•They still give each other calls and hangout, but as the time passed (and dedede started to change aka get cropted by power) those calls and visits became fewer and fewer until they didn't talk to each other.

•After that the first time Meta heard about dedede was due news that said king of dreamland stole all the food. Meta realized the power went to his head back when they were still hanging out, but he didn't think he would stood that low.

•Because of that meta knight figured out the best thing to do was to dethrone dedede, he wasn't planing to give dedede any massive punishment at worst he would send him to dangeon for a few months until he learned his lesson, but when he got out he wouldn't get his throne back.

•Meta knights revenge happens and after that Kirby informs dedede about the events and he says he will think about it.

•When it's time for Kirby's adventure, king dedede against his better judgment gives one of the star rod pieces to meta because he trusts him.

•Due to that Meta and Dedede starts hanging out and Meta realizes that Dedede has changed for the better (in my headcanon dark matter trilogy happens between superstar and adventure).

•After that they become friends again and fighters 2 happens.

Now for some non-timeline related headcanons:

•Meta likes to sit on top of dedede's head to feel tall.

•Dedede can pick meta in his hands.

•Dedede doesn't want anyone to know that his possessions has left an affect on him so he doesn't talk to anyone about it, luckly ,even tho meta is terrible at picking up on social ques, noticed something was wrong and talked to him about those things and made dedede feel better.

•When they were children Meta once gave Dedede a rock that he thought was pretty cool, and Dedede said "Yes, I will marry you" since he was told rejecting an offer from a friend was rude.

•In things where meta needs to have normal sized arms compared to dedede (like hugging dancing etc.) he uses his wings.

it’s really interesting to me just how popular the childhood friends headcanon is, considering there’s not much canon basis for it (not that that matters.) it’s a really cute hc though and i’m always happy to see it

definitely always love the star rod thing. it’s interesting that even back then mk and dedede were kind of cast in the same light, y’know? that being a point they connect over makes a lot of sense—your timeline is a lot different than mine here, being placed after romk, but it’s pretty cool that dedede would trust him with that even after that. adds a layer to it.

anyway i drew a couple of those headcanons just for funsies

i do think meta likes to be held, just probably not in full armor and where everyone can see him lol. it’s definitely a little awkward given their sizes though. holds like burger…

i’m not really a childhood friends metadede believer but imagining their dynamic is pretty fun? especially if we’re adding the Spanish speaking mk hc into this. i guess for some reason i imagined dedede as a little more shy here? just not quite broken out of his shell yet…no pun intended. they can have shenanigans together or something

and dedede only accepting meta’s “proposal” out of courtesy is so funny lol. i can imagine him going home after this and being a little upset because now he feels like he has to marry him. i’m sure the conversation that followed that was very fun /sarcasm

Pretty much all Pre-BBY Legends stories: How the Sith and Jedi came to be, how lightsabers were created, the first wars, how everything started out as a high-fantasy before it evolved into proper sci-fi, the fleshing out of the midi-chlorians as entities in Star Wars... it's all so damn fascinating.

KOTOR - KORTOR II: SITH LORDS - SWTOR: The Knights Of The Old Republic games, and it's unofficial third entry in the form of 'Star Wars: The Old Republic,' are stories that take place in an even LONGER time ago in the same galaxy that's far, far away. The first game talks about Revan, the second talks about 'The Exhile' and the third game has both characters be greater-scope forces in the background that influence the events of the game.

The Prequel Trilogy: I never had a problem with these movies. I grew up playing the LEGO games, so I guess it never registered to me that these were bad. But I love the prequels.

The Clone Wars 2003: Unpopular opinion, but this is way better than Clone Wars 2008; no offense to anyone who loves the 3D Show, but the 2003 cartoon is a flashy and high-octane series that NEVER stopped and it had an appealing art/animation style. More importantly, the characters here are far more faithful to their film counterparts than 2008!CW. Plus, Grieveous was a straight BADASS in this show.

Republic Commando (both the book & the game): The book is generally a good read, but the game is basically "What if Star Wars made a Halo game?"

Revenge Of The Sith - Junior Novelization: While RotS is a good movie, the book is... it's just so much better. It goes in-depth into Anakin's descent into complete madness, properly fleshing out his paranoia and his trust in Palpatine; it makes everything he's gone through in the film more believable.

Jedi Fallen Order, Force Unleashed, Force Unleashed II, Jedi Suvivor: These four games, all taking place in-between episodes III and IV, are two sides of the same coin. Both are epic hack-n'-slash games where you play as a lightsaber-wielding force-user. But that's where their similarities end, the Force Unleashed games are power-fantasy games where you are so unbelievably powerful that you can do just about anything; the Jedi games are a more traditional journey from zero-to-hero where you start out weak and the gameplay requires a bit of legitimate skill to properly master.

The Han Solo Books: The REAL origin story of Han Solo. Born of a family of thieves, Han joined the Imperial Navy because he wanted to fly. He meets Chewy and loses his job. Other goofy stuff ensues.

Rogue One: Didn't think a movie that was based ONE LINE IN THE OPENING SCRAWL OF THE FIRST MOVIE was gonna be as good as it was, but here we are.

The Radio-Drama version of the Original Trilogy: I love the movies, but I love the radio-drama adaptation WAY more; as it expands upon and fleshes out the things in the films that left me scratching my head, it has more context to a lot of it's scenes AND it has a bunch of other extra scenes that weren't in the movies that make listening to the radio-drama a fresh experience.

The Mandalorian (seasons 1 and 2): I haven't seen season 3 (I'm sure it slaps, though), but I think this is an awesome sequel show to the original trilogy.

The Courtship Of Princess Leia: I just— this book is so damn funny, I can't wrap my head around it. (Plus, I love Han and Leia as a couple).

The (original) Thrawn Trilogy & Dark Empire: While I'm well-aware that the Thrawn books are pretty much loved by many a Star Wars fan, Dark Empire (I've noticed) is a lot more contested... but I love the Dark Empire SO MUCH. I love the idea of the World-Devastators and Luke turning Dark is awesome.

All of the Post-BBY Books from the Legends continuity: Mara Jade, the Solo kids (Jacen, Jaina and Anakin) and Ben Skywalker are such cool characters that I'm actually depressed that they get canonized.

Star Wars Legacy: Cade Skywalker is a very interesting character, as he's a Skywalker who became a hedonistic criminal who doesn't want the burden of responsibility weighing on him by proxy of being a Skywalker, the Empire is actually kind of chill, and everything that we all thought we knew about Star Wars gets flipped on it's head. Legacy, in my mind at least, is an interesting way to end the story of Star Wars.

Anyway, I've been thinking for a hot minute how I wanna address these...topics I wanted to bring up lol but I think the only way to do it is to just...do it lmao

Below is a list of a couple new writing rules, a reminder, and a small proper update lol

1) While I do have a list of characters and their versions I'll write for, when it comes to headcanons from now on I'm able to skip a couple characters especially if I feel it's getting too repetitive or I can't think of much for them

The reason being.. a lot of headcanon lists get stuck way longer in my drafts longer than they need to just because I can't think of something different for another character lmao. If that's your favorite and you'd like a drabble or something where I can make it a bit different than headcanons, that's totally fine.

2) I will no longer be writing for Nolanverse/Murphy Scarecrow. I've already started trying to erase him from my request info. His stories and the headcanons I've done with him thus far will remain posted.

I included him at the time because I felt like I didn't have enough Scarcrows at the time, and I kinda saw some potential in writing for him after a re-watch of the Dark Knight Trilogy...mind you I have yet to watch it to completion because I fall asleep...every time.

But now I just...I don't know I don't have much motivation or inspiration to write for him, not as much as I do others.

4) A reminder really but, I do not write about children or minors in any capacity with the Rogues. It makes me uncomfortable. Even if the prompt is something platonic and not explicit at all, I will still delete the request and likely block you.

3) Overall, writing may be slow because I'm trying to get back into drawing more and working on some original ideas. I've also got a drawing commission in the works and a writing commission coming up.

And that's about it! I hope you guys understand! I hope I don't come off too...mean, these are things I've been thinking about the past few days and I just...need it gone and out there for you guys!

Okay, get ready for a ramble

Easily one of the most interesting and consistent parts of Kirby lore. When Meta was introduced and given a piece of the star rod, that implies she and King Dedede already knew each other and were on some friendly level. Then Meta tried to take over Dreamland, so it’s possible Meta was faking a friendship to get closer to DDD and then try to take the throne. But of course that fails, and then Meta taps out for the entire Dark Matter trilogy, so it’s unknown what happened during that time. Meta next shows up in The Amazon Mirror, working to protect Dreamland from evil, already showing a change in heart and moved to behaving more like an actual knight and protecting the kingdom. And from there, DDD and Meta are seen more on the same side, doing their best to rule and protect the kingdom in their respective ways, as well as being goofy idiots. Then it all seems to come to a head in Kirby Fighters 2, where the officially fight together on the same side(and against Kirby)

Anyway, they have a great king x knight dynamic, with lots of flaws, room for plenty of sappy idiot moments, and I love my powerful trans woman x powerful bird himbo ships. You can tell they are about each other more then a normal king and knight relationship, more then just the average friendship you see in the series, and I will die for them👍

9.5/10 - they just need to can only kiss or show obvious signs of romantic affection and I will raise it to a 10/q0

Bedivere and Elizabeth (OC) do reading exchanges. For this reason, Bedivere is now a fan of dystopian fiction.

Gawain actually knows how to cook! Still, he refuses to make mashed potatoes without using vinegar. Also, he is a vegetarian. (There is still a debate about this on the internet, read many doujin where they say that, so I'm unsure.)

Lancelot is a fond lover of good chocolate. The man likes to drink hot cocoa, better if made with a dark blend and cinnamon sticks.

Tristan has the highest alcohol resistance among his peers.

Percival, Gawain, and Lancelot are accidentally always in competition with each other.

Every 2nd Friday of the month, the Knights of the Round Table have a “Movie Night.” The ones who don't participate are Gareth and Agravain.

As a joke, they watched the trilogy of “50 Shades.” Mordred always made loud noises in some way whenever there was an erotic scene; Tristan found out he has a sensory kink; Bedivere is the only one who refused to watch it, but he did it alone in his room.

The Knights of the Round Table have chore rotations. They are really organized.

Mordred and Gawain are the messier.

Achilles and Gawain, despite having nothing in common, are good friends and enjoy each other's company.

Agravain does pottery late at night when he is undisturbed. (yes, I have room for him too)

When drunk, Bedivere becomes easily irritable and emotional.

Gawain doesn't like to hand his mantle around as much as he does.

The Knights of the Round Table are planning to spend a Summer on the snow.

I’m talking the dark knight trilogy.

I find it hard to believe that Alfred is the only one taking care of the maintenance of all the properties belonging to Bruce (the cars, the manor, the penthouse…) plus doing chores; like we actually see in the movies, him cooking and diving Bruce around.

Could you maybe list what kind of staff you thinks caters for Bruce on the daily?

Most of the time, when thinking about Bruce's personal staff, Alfred would be the only one that comes to mind. However, Alfred acts more so as a head of staff for the Wayne estate, the rest of the staff delegated to lesser used areas or only around Bruce when absolutely able to keep also connections to Batman away. You can't have any maids cleaning around the entrance to the Batcave without them even knowing.

The majority of the staff would not cater for Bruce on the daily, but there are instances such as during galas or whenever he has company (which, because of his persona, he does tend to have company quite a lot) where staff will be brought around purposefully. Personally though, if Alfred is able to continue his duties to a pretty good standard, he has no other reason to get any other the other staff involved just to serve himself.

Since there is quite a bit of land on the Wayne manor estate itself, it's very unlikely that Alfred can tend to it 24/7 and keep it all looking so pristine. There would absolutely be gardeners and landscapers hired for the more tedious and larger jobs that Alfred would absolutely never have time for; however, Alfred does like to do a bit of gardening himself so it wouldn't be surprising if he's the one that generally looks after the flowers a couple times a week.

Bruce does like the luxury of having chefs around when he's not spending his time meeting with associates at restaurants or setting up dates just to keep his persona up, so he will most likely have a chef on hand no matter where he's staying. This is also due to his lack of time to cook himself and his horrendous abilities in doing so if he ever tried.

Maids would also be around quite often, after all, Bruce wouldn't want the unused rooms of the Manor to be collecting dust or for his pent house to stay a mess after he's been staying there for a while and had any company over. He may not speak to the maids often, but he would find a way to have a close eye kept on them so they don't accidently stumble across anything he doesn't want them to.

You just know that Bruce has other kinds of staff ready at all times for if they're ever needed, such as someone to hand wash his cars (cars as expensive as his need to be handled delicately, a massage therapist for his recovery days and other staff like a personal tailor. He has so much money he can afford to have a staff member to cater to every single thing he can think of, and this way he gets to interact with them privately and get away from the prying eyes of other customers that would be around if he didn't hire privately.
