LA Dodgers say they denied ICE agents access to Dodger Stadium parking lot
LOS ANGELES, June 19 (Reuters) - The Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday said they had denied U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents access to the parking lot at Dodger Stadium earlier in the day.
"This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots," the team said in a post on X.
The Department of Homeland Security, which includes ICE and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said CBP vehicles used the parking lot briefly.
"This had nothing to do with the Dodgers. CBP vehicles were in the stadium parking lot very briefly, unrelated to any operation or enforcement," Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.
The Dodgers, whose fanbase includes a large number of Latinos, have come under fire in recent days for not speaking out publicly against raids by ICE agents across the city.

Ximena Bustillo and Sergio MartĂnez-BeltrĂĄn at NPR:
Immigration authorities can now enter schools, healthcare facilities and places of worship to conduct arrests, according to a new policy from the Department of Homeland Security. "Criminals will no longer be able to hide in America's schools and churches to avoid arrest," a DHS spokesperson said in a statement. "The Trump administration will not tie the hands of our brave law enforcement, and instead trusts them to use common sense." The directive, which covers agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection, rescinds guidance from the Biden administration that created "protected areas" that primarily consisted of places where "children gather, disaster or emergency relief sites, and social services establishments." The Biden-era guideline mandated that immigration enforcement operations shouldn't take place  in or near a location that would limit peoples' access to "essential" services or activities. A second directive DHS announced on Tuesday also followed through on one of President Trump's executive orders signed Monday night to "terminate all categorical parole programs that are contrary to the policies of the United States established in my Executive Orders," including the humanitarian parole program for people from Nicaragua, Cuba, Haiti and Venezuela.
The tyrannical Trump Regime revokes protections from sensitive places such as schools, healthcare facilities and places of worship, thereby permitting jackboot ICE/CBP agents to conduct arrests in those places.

Reposting this from a friend bc I think it is VERY important to know of this, and for immigrants, and other possible victims of the ICE Raids happening right now

Hereâs to also a very huge edit, from the list of very helpful people who have been reblogging and providing more info.
Iâm not as well informed but I will be relaying the information and tagging each person who added onto this post:
@onthedriftinthetardis -
The phone number in the first photo is ONLY for Orange County, California!
Look up your local ACLU affiliate here
@6feetunderwater -
It always makes me nervous to see a reporting phone number passed around without any links to verify it, so the number in the first pic can be found on the site for the Orange County Rapid Response Network, which is "an interconnected system of non-profit and grassroots organizations, civil rights attorneys, law school clinics, and individuals working together to respond to dehumanizing immigration enforcement activities and policies in Orange County"
@geekerypeekery -
The second warrant is not fake, but is an administrative rather than judicial warrant, and has no constitutional authority to bypass Fourth Amendment protections - in other words, it does not entitle the bearer to enter and search your home. It simply authorizes agents of the issuing department to contact you. Always ask to see the warrant before opening your door!
In addition to the ACLU links, try contacting the National Immigration Law Center https://www.nilc.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Warrants-Subpoenas-Facts.pdf
@american-anger -
The phone number listed here is specific to Orange County in California, but you can look up other California counties here:
CALIFORNIA RAPID RESPONSE NETWORKS
@beaniebaneenie -
Unpleasant reminder: within 100 miles of the border (which is home to 200 million people and virtually all major cities in the US), ICE does not need a warrant to enter your home, your car, to search anything, or even to arrest you.
You are not automatically safe just because they don't have a real warrant.
The best and safest thing you can do is learn to have escape routes- quick ways to get out of the house or area you're in if you find out ICE or CBP are around. Those of us who do have documentation? Time for us to step the fuck up.
Film any interaction. Every interaction. If you're able, step into the conversation and be a Karen/Kyle- weaponize your privilege for Good. If you get asked about people? Use positive but vague statements so you a) cannot be caught in a lie, and b) do not give any information away.
"I don't know them that well, but I don't tend to socialize much. They seem great to me."
"I can't remember the last time I saw them."
"Maybe they speak another language, I can't remember details. But I picked up Duolingo during the pandemic and tons of other people did too."
"I'm not sure."
"I'm sorry, I can't help you."
Even if you're somewhere the 100-mile Exception doesn't apply and a warrant is in fact needed? I don't expect ICE and CBP to play by the rules for long, if at all. I fully expect this to get ugly, and fast.
Cheeto has already declared an emergency of national security at the border, and is mobilizing the military to have jurisdiction over a huge swath of the country. It's essentially tantamount to martial law. And it's only been four days.
Gear up for a long, hard fight. This is gonna be a marathon, not a sprint.
â I am leaving all of this as an edit because on the off chance someone does find the posts that have these people specifically reblogging, I donât want it to be too late. So Iâm comprising it all here
Here are a few other peopleâs reblogs I thought were important:

Thank you @onthedriftinthetardis @6feetunderwater @geekerypeekery @american-anger @beaniebaneenie @bunnychiffon @dubiouslynamed @trisockatops @witchy-disaster for contributing and helping me make this a more well-informed post. Thank you so much

A brief bullet-point list of the executive orders Trump signed yesterday. The tiktok thing is a distraction. If you are in the US, please read this. It will take less than 5 minutes. Gift article so no paywall
Some of the items on that list:
Freeze federal hiring except for military and immigration enforcement.
Bar asylum for people newly arriving at the southern border; declare migrant crossings at the southern border to be a national emergency; suspend the entire Refugee Admissions Program.
Terminate DEI initiatives across the federal government.
Recognize only two sexes; remove protections for transgender people in federal prisons.
Withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement, the pact among almost all nations to fight climate change.
Declare a national energy emergency, a first in U.S. history, which could unlock new powers to suspend certain environmental rules or expedite permitting of certain mining projects.
Try to undo Bidenâs ban on offshore drilling for 625 million acres of federal waters; undo Biden-era tailpipe pollution regulations and other energy-efficiency, fossil fuel, and pollution regulations.
Open the Alaska wilderness to more oil and gas drilling.
Eliminate environmental justice programs across the government, which are aimed at protecting poor communities from excess pollution.
Withdraw from the World Health Organization.
Ensure that states carrying out the death penalty have a âsufficient supplyâ of lethal injection drugs.
Create the Department of Government Efficiency with Elon Musk in charge.

When is Enough, Enough?
I normally donât get political on social media because itâs just asking for an all-out war between people who canât even see past their own biases. But honestly? I canât stay quiet anymore. Iâm pissed. Iâm beyond pissed. This administration, in just two months, has done more damage than I thought humanly possible. Itâs like theyâre on a mission to dismantle everything that made America remotely decent. Itâs not just mistakesâtheyâre actively tearing down peopleâs lives, and itâs disgusting.
Theyâve made brutal cuts to essential departments, slashed jobs left and right, and appointed a bunch of unqualified, power-hungry, incompetent idiots to lead the most critical aspects of our government. Itâs like they went out of their way to find the most clueless misfits possible and handed them the keys to the country. And then they have the audacity to bring in a non-elected puppet to do whatever the hell he wants. How is this even legal? Who approved this circus of corruption and chaos?
And don't get me started on the tariff warsâwith CANADA and MEXICO, of all countries! OUR ALLIES! The very countries weâve always worked with and traded with, and now this administration thinks itâs a great idea to piss them off and start a fight? Brilliant. Just brilliant. Theyâre making enemies out of friends while cozying up to dictators and lunatics who couldnât care less about us.
Oh, and now they want to take over the Gaza Strip? Annex Greenland and CANADA? Are they out of their damn minds? What the actual hell are they thinking? Do they think itâs some kind of imperial game where they can just lay claim to whatever the hell they want? Whatâs next? Declaring the moon as the 52nd state? This isnât leadershipâitâs lunacy.
And meanwhile, back home, legal immigrantsâPEOPLE who came here the right wayâare being thrown into what amounts to concentration camps at our southern border. Theyâre ripping families apart and shoving people into overcrowded, inhumane conditions while smugly claiming theyâre âprotecting the nation.â Protecting it from what? People looking for a better life?
The cost of living is still a nightmare. Remember all those promises to make groceries more affordable? Eggs are still insanely priced. Gas is through the roof. Nothing has improved, and theyâre acting like itâs a victory parade. And to top it all off, theyâre ignoring a MASSIVE security breach involving Signal texts that could be a national security disaster. No one is stepping up to address it. Theyâre too busy lining their pockets and power-tripping to give a damn.
And the press secretary? An absolute trainwreck. The most condescending, vile, and arrogant spokesperson Iâve ever seen. She treats journalists and the American people like garbage, and yet somehow, sheâs still there, holding that position like itâs her birthright. Every time she opens her mouth, itâs just more lies and twisted narratives. Itâs exhausting.
I genuinely donât know how MAGA supporters can look at this mess and feel pride. I donât know how they can stand by this madness while real, hardworking Americans are losing jobs, losing hope, losing everything they worked for. I watch videos of people breaking down because they canât afford to put food on the table, and it breaks my heart. It makes me so damn angry because none of this had to happen. This administration isnât fixing anythingâtheyâre wrecking it all and pretending itâs progress.
I used to have hope. I used to think my vote meant something. I voted for Obama because he inspired me. I voted for Bernie because he gave me hope for change. I voted for Hillary because I didnât want to see America go down this path. I voted for Biden because I thought he could stabilize things. I even voted for Harris, hoping for progress. But now? It feels like none of it mattered. It feels like this was rigged from the start, and weâre just puppets in someone elseâs twisted show.
Elon Musk practically bought this administration for his own personal gain. Thatâs why heâs got this orange puppet wrapped around his finger, doing whatever the hell he wants. Weâve got 46 more months of this nightmare, and it feels like an eternity. Weâre just watching America burn while the ones responsible throw gasoline on the flames.
And where are the Democrats? Where are the leaders who are supposed to fight back? Why isnât anyone stepping up and speaking out with passion and purpose? Why arenât they rallying people, pushing back with real force? Are they too scared, or do they just not care anymore? Because Iâm not seeing any fire, any fight, any damn urgency from anyone who should be standing up for the people.
Every day, I wake up hoping to hear that someone finally did what needed to be done and took one for the team to eliminate the threat. Sometimes, I go back to sleep just hoping Iâll wake up to good newsânews that maybe someone finally stopped this madness. Because at this point, it feels like nobody is going to save us.
Iâm tired. Iâm angry. Iâm losing hope. The America I believed in is slipping away, and itâs being replaced by this cruel, corrupt machine that doesnât care about the people itâs supposed to serve. And Iâm done pretending itâs okay. I donât see myself voting anymore because itâs all so rigged and pointless.
America is a goddamn dumpster fire right now, and our allies are stepping back, watching us implode while the orange man keeps pushing for more power, more control, even talking about a third term. Martial law? Probably coming. And when it does, maybe people will finally wake the hell up and see whatâs been right in front of them this whole time.
Iâm just exhausted from feeling helpless while everything good about this country gets ripped apart. I donât know how to keep caring when every day feels like another blow to our sanity and our souls.

Maanvi Singh at The Guardian:
The Trump administration is trying to end a cornerstone immigration policy that requires the government to provide basic rights and protections to child immigrants in its custody. The protections, which are drawn from a 1997 consent decree known as the Flores Settlement Agreement, limit the amount of time children can be detained by immigration officials. It also requires the government to provide children in its custody with adequate food, water and clean clothes. The administrationâs move to terminate the Flores agreement was long anticipated. In a court motion filed Thursday, the justice department argued that the Flores agreement should be âcompletelyâ terminated, claiming it has incentivized unauthorized border crossings and âprevented the federal government from effectively detaining and removing familiesâ. Donald Trump also tried to end these protections during his first term, making very similar arguments. The move to end protections follows a slew of actions by the Trump administration that target children, including restarting the practice of locking up children along with their parents in family detention. Immigration advocacy groups have alleged in a class-action lawsuit filed earlier this month that unaccompanied children are languishing in government facilities after the administration unveiled policies making it exceedingly difficult for family members in the US to take custody of them. The president and lawmakers have also sought to cut off unaccompanied childrenâs access to legal services and make it harder for families in detention to seek legal aid. âEviscerating the rudimentary protections that these children have is unconscionable,â said Mishan Wroe, senior attorney at the National Center for Youth Law. âAt this very moment, babies and toddlers are being detained in family detention, and children all over the country are being detained and separated from their families unnecessarily.â
The effort to suspend the Flores agreement âbears the Trump administrationâs hallmark disregard for the rule of law â and for the wellbeing of toddlers who have done no wrongâ, said Faisal al-Juburi of the Texas-based legal non-profit Raices. âThis administration would rather enrich private prison contractors with the $45bn earmarked for immigrant detention facilities in the Houseâs depraved spending bill than to uphold basic humanitarian protections for babies.â The Trump administration in 2019 asked a judge to dissolve the Flores Settlement Agreement, but its motion was struck down. During the Biden administration, a federal judge agreed to partially lift oversight protections at the Department of Health and Human Services, but the agreement is still in place at the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agencies.
The Trump Regime seeks an end to the Flores Settlement that they tried to end in the 1st term. The Flores Settlement provides basic rights and protections for child immigrants while in custody.

I hate seeing these fucking videos of people who voted for Donald Trump regretting voting for him. If they had just done more research and didn't vote for him just because then the can "afford gas and groceries" they would've learned that if you are the average American your taxes will be higher and you will have larger bills. Donald Trump's tax plan does include a few cuts for the middle class but 83% of tax cuts that are included in Donald Trumps tax plan go to the people that are making over half a million dollars a year. Kamala Harris's tax plan would've been better because 100% of the tax cuts in her plan would go to members of the middle and low class.
Donald Trump has also reported "not being associated with project 2025" and "having nothing to do with project 2025" which is obviously false seeing that many people who are involved in project 2025 have served Donald Trump in one way or another. For example; Paul Dans, who is a former chief of staff at the U.S. Office of Personal Management under Trump is leading the project. In addition, Trumps campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt has appeared in Project 2025 promotion videos.
Here are ways project 2025 could affect you and your personal life. Project 2025 would stop people from earning overtime pay. He wants to undo recent policy that made over 4 million people newly eligible for overtime. Project 2025 also wants to weaken child labor protections. In quote "The young people should be able to work inherently dangerous jobs" and work in rolls that are not allowed thanks to protections from the department of labor.
Project 2025 also says that they will quote "Secure the border, finish building the wall, and deport illegal aliens" Donald Trump is planing on doing mass deportations. He declared that once he takes office that he will use military to do mass deportations of undocumented immigrants.
They want to make it harder for women to get abortions by removing it from laws and taking away approval for abortion pills. They want to stop some services that give out birth control and instead suggest less reliable methods. That might take away funding from clinics that provide abortions which could also affect other services those clinics offer. They want to promote traditional roles for men and women. They will take away protections and programs that help gay people, thus making it harder for them to be treated fairly and get the support they need. They might cut back on programs that help poor people get healthcare and other support meaning it could be harder for poor families to get the help they need.
These are some of the ways project 2025 will affect the climate. Project 2025 would rewrite the most legal tool we have for protecting wildlife in ways that would harm imperilled species. For example, it specifically calls for removing protections from gray wolves and Yellowstone grizzlies. They also propose to repeal the Antiquities Act, which would strip the president of the ability to protect the public land and waters of national monuments. Project 2025 would have agencies that manage the federal lands and waters to maximise corporate oil and gas extraction. Speaking of oil, the agenda directly aims to expand the Willow Project which the largest proposed oil and gas undertaking on the U.S. public land. This also calls for drilling into Alaskaâs Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and mining into Minnesotaâs Boundary Waters wilderness.
If you go to a public school congratulations. You are now required to take the military entrance exam. Page 134/ 135, "Improve military recruitersâ access to secondary schools and require completion of the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Batteryâthe military entrance examinationâby all students in schools that receive federal funding." "Increase the number of Junior ROTC programs in secondary schools"
If you voted for Trump I promise you will regret it in the next 4 years.
Edit from after the election: Donald Trump is not lowering gas prices and adding tariffs to companys that import goods and to make up for that he will be increasing the price of these goods.
Trump has aslo started mass deportations and ICE has been spoted waiting at schools, breaking down doors, and there have even been reports of ICE deporting people who are AMERICAN CITIZENS. People should not be scared to do basic things in fear of being deported by ICE.

Presenting the King and Queen of the criminal illegal invasion, Samantha Power (born in the UK) and her husband Cass Sunstein.
GPSâthey met together and separately at Barack Hussein Obama IIâs war room/mansion in Washington, DC hundreds of times during the Biden/Harris Regime, 19 times since the election and 4 times since President Trump took office.
The circumstances surrounding the controversial financial and political of Samantha Power, a former USAID administrator, and her significant increase in net worth during her tenure in public office. Powerâs wealth reportedly surged from $6.7 million in 2021 to $30 million by 2024, raises questions about how such a dramatic increase occurred despite her official annual salary of $180,000.
This financial growth has led to public scrutiny and allegations of financial misconduct within USAID under Power's leadership.
USAID, an organization tasked with managing billions in global funding, under audit for alleged misuse of funds, including spending on contentious programs like transgender initiatives and cultural projects abroad.
These programs served as conduits for financial kickbacks to lawmakers and officials, enriching them at the expense of American taxpayers. Powers funneled billions into NGOs financing the criminal illegal invasion of America.
Powerâs husband, Cass Sunstein, also plays a key role in this narrative. Sunstein, a senior adviser on immigration policy at DHS during the Biden administration, allegedly shaped policies that created the âopen-borderâ system.
This was seen as complementary to Powerâs role at USAID, with Power funding programs to facilitate immigration while Sunstein ensured these policies were implemented. This was a coordinated âone-two punch,â enabling illegal immigration while circumventing any accountability or transparency.
Sunsteinâs academic and professional background, citing his 2008 white paper, Conspiracy Theories, which advocated for government infiltration of online movements to neutralize narratives that could undermine U.S. military and diplomatic efforts.
This idea extended to behavioral influence strategies outlined in his book, Nudge, which became a foundational text for professionals working in counter-disinformation and media literacy.
The book emphasized shaping public behavior without overt coercion, using techniques like algorithmic manipulation, social media deplatforming, and other indirect methods to discourage dissent.
USAIDâs role in psychological (gaslighting) operations was engaged in misinformation campaigns both domestically and abroad. Coupled with Sunsteinâs advocacy for âraising the costâ of dissenting behavior, contributed to an erosion of free speech protections. Examples included penalties for questioning COVID-19 policies, such as job loss, social media bans, and reputational damage, all designed to discourage opposition without resorting to legal consequences.
There are even broader concerns about the interplay between government roles and private-sector enrichment, with a pattern of officials transitioning from public service to lucrative positions in finance or industry.
This âblob-to-banker pipelineâ allows individuals to leverage insider knowledge for personal gain. For instance, Jared Cohen, a former State Department official, having transitioned to roles at Google Jigsaw and later Goldman Sachs, where his government connections reportedly informed investment strategies.
The current system has zero transparency, accountability, and erodes public trust.
USAIDâs misuse of funds, coupled with Powerâs rapid wealth accumulation, exemplifies the broader issue of financial exploitation within government institutions.
Word needs to get out. Share this post, do your own research, engage in discourse, and hold public officials accountable.

A Guatemalan man deported to Mexico, whom President Donald Trumpâs administration was working to bring back after a court order, landed in the United States on Wednesday, his attorneys confirmed. The man, identified in court documents by initials O.C.G., landed in California via a commercial flight and made contact with his legal team while waiting in line to go through U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said Trina Realmuto of the National Immigration Litigation Alliance. He was later taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and was being transported to a detention facility in Arizona, she said in an email to The Associated Press. The Trump administration said in court filings last month that it was working to bring him back after he was deported to Mexico, despite his fears of being harmed there, days after a federal judge ordered the administration to facilitate his return. The U.S. Department of Justice didnât immediately respond to a request for comments and details from the AP. The man, who is gay, was protected from being returned to his home country under a U.S. immigration judgeâs order at the time. But the U.S. put him on a bus and sent him to Mexico instead, a removal that U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy found likely âlacked any semblance of due process.â
