this is a really long shot but does anyone know how to clean a depression room? like any tips? i haven't cleaned my room in a year and there's bugs in it and now im being told that i have to have it clean by july 4th or else something bad that i'd rather not talk about is going to happen to me. and i really do need to clean it, and i want to, but it's really hard for me and i was going to start after exams are over but now that i've been given this time limit i'm not going to be able to start after exams because i'd only have like a month to clean it all. so if anyone has any tips or anything at all that could help, please dm me or send me an ask or put it in the notes or anything. i can't even start on it i just end up sobbing because it's so overwhelming and there's so much and i just don't know where to start. so yeah. if anyone can help me. please.

for every 5 notes i'll pick up 5 pieces of trash

for every 10 notes i'll do a COMPLETE! load of laundry (wash + dry + put away)

for every 15 notes i'll put 20 random items back where they belong

friendly reminder: if someones cleaning their depression room, please at least try to hide disgust when they’re cleaning the trash and dishes. They know it’s gross, they've been living in it for weeks. They don't need to be told they're disgusting, they're trying their best.

So I've been seeing bugs every now and then on my stuff and I'm like "oh fuck do I have an infestation haha" and it's always been a joke but now I'm cleaning and I'm pretty sure I ACTUALLY HAVE A BUG INFESTATION AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL TO DO ABOUT IT

So please post tips I guess!!!!

My heart's literally racing and I'm not breathing correctly because I'm so scared of actually having this oh god I really didn't think it was that bad most of the bugs I've actually found are dead I think because they don't move but like help???? On rare occasions when Daiki manages to clean his depression room (whether it's by himself or from the help of others-mainly Taiga or his ma) his mom feels the need to celebrate it. She makes him homemade banana muffins with a little candle stuck in the middle (really embarrassing but Daiki would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy blowing them out) and a promise that she won't attend one of his upcoming games because, "That's not support ma. That's abuse to my mental state!”

Does anyone have tips for keeping a room clean with adhd/depression. I swear my room needs a deep clean at least every week because I can’t keep it clean and it just rots for months. Any and all advice is appreciated I’m literally dying there isn’t a corner of my room that is organized

I was kind of hesitant to post this, i though people might think I was faking but uhm- y e a h.

before: date, around February 2023 (it had been in that state, since 2022 though)

after: date, today! January 28th, 2024. Piece by piece and little by little I was finally able to put it back together! I was getting better around February and couldn’t stand it, but it took awhile because my body just didn’t wanna do anything still XD

I’m happy with my growth though! It’s not much ofc, my room is still dirty (paint on the floor, clothes piled on my dresser, some stuff still on my keyboard) but it’s definitely better than what I was originally in.

it’s not extreme like how other rooms usually are (which is not a problem at all) but idk, it still makes me happy
