Hiii! Thank you for responding to my last question. This ask isn't exactly about your story, but...why do you hc Raiden to be vietnamese?
Sorry, I was kind of stalking your postsš„šššššš
Hello again!!! Sorry for the late response ā I was abroad for a long time visiting family and I just finished my exam week today :D
First of all, I absolutely appreciate the comments and the support!!! It's nice to know that people enjoy my posts (and makes me feel like I'm not posting for nothing :P). I love answering questions no matter the context so keep them coming if you have any more!!!!!! I'm free for a while now so expect fast-ish responses (^ā^d)!!
Okay, so about your question: I personally like to think Raiden is Vietnamese but technically if I really had to headcanon, I'd headcanon him as Thai because his face model Krit McClean is Thai (love his work!!!)
It was sort of a slow progression. Before I say anything, I would like to clarify that I am Vietnamese so I base it all on my experience and therefore I am 101% bias :D
So, I kinda decided that he was Vietnamese when I was listening to Wren Evans (I absolutely love his album LOI CHOI) and i needed a playlist cover on Spotify because i made my own playlist with all the songs from LOI CHOI and some other vietnamese songs. But, before that, I based it on his rice hat because Vietnam is known for their rice hats (and many other things of course). Then, because I equally love MK11 Raiden, when I saw MK11 Raiden's friendship, I was like hey Vietnamese people really love their EDM/raves so like... it would be really funny if Raiden listens to EDM on a regular basis and considering he can do his own laser shows well he HAS to be a raver to some degree (I wouldn't put this in the story; maybe I'll add in how he listens to EDM like it's nothing for humour but this concept is just a fun thing for me). When I say Vietnamese people love EDM, they fucking love it.
A little more about me... I'm a raver (my main genres are Happy Hardcore and Euphoric Hardstyle) and I have a Japanese first name despite being Vietnamese. Most of my reasons comes from projections HAHAHA
There was this other Vietnamese song that I thought Raiden would listen to/relate to (I was going to say this in my new chap but I'll do it here as well :)): https://open.spotify.com/track/2nR51wakN5K3AJENqGaNg9?si=3aSO_umVTKuvPmje_8nMsg
Those are pretty much my main reasons. I probably won't specify his ethnicity in the story but for me personally, I find it humourous to imagine Raiden as some hardcore raver eating banh cuon under a massive ceiling fan. I don't think Raiden would be interested in the coffee culture that Vietnam has to offer, but he wouldn't mind frequently going out at night when it's cooler to some coffee place to eat che/sago and hang out with good friends
#thank you for your question!!!#raiden#mk1#vietnamese#in vietnam 9/10 if you ever go to a beach there's probably a massive dj booth and sometimes there will actually be a DJ whipping out#EDM mix from soundcloud#why do tags only allow 140 each šššššš

can you do a reading on what type of music the BTS members like to listen to? And Iām not asking for specific songs, Iām just asking for like the vibe or āaestheticā of what their types of preferred music are. Thanksssss
Okay so i'm doign this one through shufflemancy its just easier Namjoon: songs with many layers. Maybe even slam or instrumentals music from like videogames or musicals. Just very layered things in meaning but i'm feeling simpler sounds ? Maybe more metallic and eletronic sounding with a little bit of acoustic style lo-fi. Jin: I'm kinda feeling IU vibe, soft, vocals, interesting instrumentals but the softness of the voice blends in. Yoongi: A mix of Emo, Rock and rap. Maybe even EDM or nightcore style. Independent artists, boundary benders. Feels very "online" though, like small youtube and soundcloud artists. Darker sounds, reminds me of the Dark and Wild album. Jhope: Nostalgic sounds. Love songs with longing and yearning, things of the past, sweetness but he misses it/them ? Like it comes from someone or an event of his life he holds dearly. Jimin: Musicals. Something from a cartoon maybe ? or an anime opening, but it's part of something else. Fun tbh, sounds interesting. Taehyung: Old rock vibe, pretty chill, soft percussions but a bit lively. Happy music, childlike ? Jk: K-pop, maybe catching up on some groups he likes ? Rock vibe.

Inazuma Eleven Bad Boy Band AU (both OG and AresOri)
So I wanted to make a rock boy band (technically we do have one B4 from OG) BUT I WANTED TO INCLUDE Haizaki, Hiroto and Atsuya into the band so, I was like, ok, what if I mix both B4 and the three of them?
Now that's a lot of members for a band but like, hear me out. It CAN work out okay?
This would be their roles:
Tsunami as their main singer! The reason why I made Tsunami as their main singer is probably due to personality wise, I think he just suits it. Also voice wise, I think he can go absolutely crazy with it.
Next, Fudou as a guitarist and back-up vocals! He's definitely a guitarist, I can't see him play any other instruments but guitar. He likely started out with acoustic guitar then later on switched to electric guitar. He sometimes plays as the rhythm guitarist but other times would be lead depending on the song.
Haizaki is also a guitarist and back-up vocals! So, both Fudou and Haizaki will take turns who play rhythm and who plays lead. Whoever from the two plays rhythm will be the back-up vocal for Tsunami! (This makes it fair because rhythm is easier than lead.)
Okay, next up, Someoka as the drummer! I think he would go balls on drums, I dunno. He looks like the type to go unhinged with the drums especially if the song goes really hardcore.
Tobitaka as the keyboardist and very occassionally back-up vocals! I have a headcanon that he used to play piano at some point (has a keyboard than a piano at home because pianos are expensive asf) but got bored of playing classical so he learned other songs and were into that instead.
Hiroto as the bassist! Okay, you might think that he's probably a guitarist, yeah, I did too. But look, imagine first year middle school Hiroto wanting to get an electric guitar but saw a video of someone absolutely SHREDDING on the bass with crazy pop and slap, he then changed his mind and decided to learn bass so he can slap and pop to his heart content.
Lastly, Atsuya as the synthesizer player and I forgot to mention, sometimes he does back-up vocals! Okay, Kai, what the heck is the difference between keyboard and synthesizer? For that, it is best to watch a video on the difference because they are in fact, very much different. Okay, so, how is Atsuya the synth player here? Similar to Tobitaka, he probably learned the piano when he was younger but hated it because it's boring. So when he found out what a synthesizer was, he decided to get that and learn it, making his own sounds and songs from it. Also recreating some instrumental he likes. (I hc he likes EDM.)
So, with all these information combined, who's the song/lyric-writer? Okay, crazy shit here but it's Nagumo! He's probably a soundcloud rapper or something but enjoys writing songs and lyrics for fun (and can think of it on spot because you know, freestyle rapping.) He definitely helps the band's instrument arrangements and lyrics to an extent so, sometimes in their songs, you can see they credited Nagumo there. (Nagumo and Suzuno definitely are a duo lol but Suzuno is a vocalist instead.)
Okay last, Nishikage as their band manager! I think he suits it the most? Probably the most responsible deliquent from all of them so, it makes sense for them to have him as their manager.
Would this end up as a Idol/Band AU for the whole cast, MAYBE! Will I write a fanfic about this? ALSO MAYBE.
I brainrotted too hard for this lmfao kms. Also, I don't know what their band name would be this time but maybe something like Ćverdxse is cool :P
Also, their songs would definitely mainly be metal or punk rock! But occassionally they might do some alternative rock, pop rock and synth or keyboard heavy rock songs (ballad rock even!)
This whole thing is inspired. I took inspiration from a K-rock band, Xdinary Heroes. Please listen to them, their songs suit this band so bad, you don't understand...
Anyways, THANKS FOR READING MY RAMBLING THIS FAR!!!! YOU'RE CRAZY IF YOU DID BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH ^^

* MUSTACHE GIRL EX ATK 180 DEF 280 * Guess she did have a breaking point, after all. * ...There must be a way to get through to her.
Timeās End is an AHIT/Undertale crossover AU of sorts, taking place in the aftermath of a timeline where you lose the final boss fight against Mustache Girl. You can find the write-upĀ here! In addition, you can find the write-ups for theĀ Neutral EndingsĀ andĀ TimeWarp Route RequirementsĀ on Google Drive! The logo for Time's End was designed byĀ @bittybattybunny. She's an incredible artist, be sure to check out their work here on Tumblr and over onĀ Twitter!! Like holy FUCK, I can not stress enough how awesome they are to work with. They're amazing!!
Motifs:
Mustache Girl EX
Main Theme/Title Screen
Reflections Past
Judge, Jury and Executioner
You can also listen to this track in high quality on the AUās SoundCloudĀ here! The rest of the description is underneath the Read More.
Mustache Girl takes on a hybrid Asgore and Asriel role. Already feeling trapped and conflicted, her emotions are finally pushed over the edge when an incredibly large group of people -- though it feels more like the entire world with how suffocating the crowd is -- barge into her throne room and hurl insults her way, telling her to "get lost!" among other things ā¦and (almost) all in the name of Bow Kid, mirroring what happened years ago to a disturbing degree. Finally overwhelmed by all her painful thoughts and emotions bubbling back to the surface, she snaps and violently shatters a Time Piece in a fit of rage. And thus history is made to repeat itself once more. But this time, something's different.
BABY'S FIRST HOPES AND DREAMS REPLACEMENT FOR THE WIN :D Also Happy belated New Year to all my peeps here on Tumblr lmao But ye, this is actually happening! Aside from using similar instruments (and a somewhat loose idea for the very beginning of my track,) this is very deliberately unfaithful to the typical H&D structure. Knew right away that I wanted to use Mustache Girl EX as the base for this track, and that sticking too rigidly to the structure of any other H&D would do a disservice to the feel I wanted to go for: that same kick-you-in-the-dick level of power from Mu EX, but with a LOT more of a melancholy vibe underlying all that fury. Plus, bit of a fun fact: adjustments have been made since obviously, but the first "complete" mixing draft of this track was finished on New Year's Eve 2023! (This kind of constant revising is why the His Theme track is still not done on my part btw lmaooooo.) Also⦠I'll fully admit something here. For the first time on a track I've done, the drumbeat's backbone is comprised of loops I got when I bought Mixcraft 10 (especially with some of the things they were offering during the first week of its launch,) and the only supplemental VST I used was Abbey Road 80's Drummer for the left panned hi-hats. I know that EDM-type stuff similar to the actual Mu EX track is completely out of my wheelhouse, and I didn't want to royally screw up the drum pattern with this different metal-ish take on it, seeing as those are something I have a TON of trouble with. All things considered, drumline came out ok! And ye on the whole, I'm incredibly happy with this track, and it's easily the most ambitious arrangement I've done to date (and the most difficult too in some aspects.) Hope you all enjoy! :)

Welcome to the drawing vault, a archive of all my art i've done traditionally from 2018 to the end of 2024.
This blog will mainly serve as a place where i can share all of my old art i've kept with me for years.
From the many pieces of jsab fan art, hidden gems (maybe) and odd looking drawings. This will be a nice little place i can share all of the old art i've created over the years.
I thought i start this blog off with my three little Alias, Mellody, =D R E A M E R= & harmony.

these three are essentially my mascots, with each of them representing my three music tastes.
Mellody; represents the fun, melodic side of Music.
=D R E A M E R=; represents the heavy, rebellious side of music.
& harmony; representing the euphoric, calm side of music.

Mellody & =D R E A M E R= would be born on the beach during one of my residential trips with my last collage in 2023"

with this, being one of my first sketches of them.

Like with my art style, the two would change designs, with me shifting between a simple shape style to a more humanoid appearance that my recent style is now.

harmony would join the duo a year later, completing the primary color trio and giving some representation. [=UuU=]

the last one was originally apart of an art collab that never came to be. [=OnO=] (but i'll be sure to bring this back another time)

They would receive their last designs when i began my transition to digital earlier this year. With me making my first full piece & even creating little standees of the three.
Someday i plan to give them new designs to best reflect the new direction for my overall art style.
Finally to close this off are some fun little drawings i've done with them, some based of various edm tracks.

These four were based off the three NERO albums in celebration of their third album, Into the Unknown.

These are custom CD covers i've made based on little mixes i've made on my soundcloud. One a Colour Bass Mix, another a Halloween mix. (I would love to make some new ones in future. š¤)

Ending it off with this, due to it's importance of it being my first cover i've made of a random tune i've made in the past.
Love the colours on this.
I hope you all enjoy this first batch of old art i've made around a few years ago.
I got many more pieces to show, with lots of them being JSAB art, so that'll be a nice trip down memory lane. [=>u<=]

On Repeat.
Rules: Shuffle your 'on repeat' playlist and post the first 10 songs, then tag 10 friends to do the same
@fahre tagged me here with a song list -- thanks for the tag! this was fun!!
I used my "On Repeat" and it was more homogeneous than I thought it would be! I guess I did a lot of album-looping and listening to one particular playlist over work -- and chasing a couple earworms. I started talking about what the songs were or why they were on the list, but that got long! so I put most of it below a cut. here's just some links instead.
Bilmuri - BETTER HELL (Thicc boi) - post-hardcore/country - YT (music video with lawn mower and dog) | Spotify | soundcloud (full album - click track 3)
GENESI - Done - techno - YT | Spotify
Steeleye Span - Sum Waves - 2009 Remaster - folk rock instrumental, headphones warning - YT | Spotify | soundcloud (full album - click track 4)
Tony Romera remixing Avicii & Sebastien Drums - Snus, Tony Romera Remix - house - YT(image depicts tin of snus, a tobacco product, may be NSFW) | Spotify | soundcloud
Joy Orbison - flight fm - experimental electronic - YT | Spotify | soundcloud
Knock Over City - Digital Weed - post-hardcore/punk (NSFW lyrics) - YT | Spotify | Bandcamp
Minus the Bear - Women We Haven't Met Yet - mathy alt rock - YT | Spotify | Bandcamp (full album, use >> button)
Child Seat - Something Good - 80sy throwback pop - YT | Spotify | bandcamp
Alex Wann remixing Route 94 ft. Jess Glynne - My Love (2024) - dance/house - YT | Spotify | soundcloud
Alone in the Heart of the Light - Genghis Tron - synthy/shoegazy progressive metal - YT | Spotify | bandcamp
I tag: @notsoencrypted, @rivercityrabbitsbro, @looseferrets, @bronzewords, @squagel, @simplyirenic, and you, yes you, the person reading this right now.
and now, the cut:
Bilmuri - BETTER HELL (Thicc boi) -- bilmuri is post-hardcore and this album is country post-hardcore. this is a guy from Attack Attack! doing post-hardcore with genuinely well-executed country music tropes/ elements, solo with weird song titles, Americana music video imagery. it's delightful. the music video is him mowing his lawn singing and mugging at the camera, and there's a dog. -- Links: YT (music video with lawn mower and dog) | Spotify | soundcloud (full album - click track 3)
GENESI - Done -- techno house track, little stretch of piano house sneaks in, is for dancing. I am 100% sure I got it from Qrion's playlist Crying in the Club (on Spotify; listen to Qrion!!) Links: YT | Spotify
Steeleye Span - Sum Waves - 2009 Remaster -- okay look. this isn't my favorite track on this album. it starts as discordant fiddles and it does bloom into a bigger folk rock song that is still discordant-fiddles-forward and it's got a little drone in it and it's a bit foreboding and like it's coming for you and it's happy about it. it must rip live. I think it's the only instrumental on this album, which is great. the title track All Around My Hat is what blew them up and I can totally see why: it's awesome. author Claire Willett mentioned them in some context I forget now but it made me want to follow up. they ended up being a kind of missing piece of sonic memory I have been trying to reconstruct? I think my friend Bones' family must listen to them too. Links: YT | Spotify | soundcloud (full album - click track 4)
Tony Romera remixing Avicii & Sebastien Drums - Snus, Tony Romera Remix -- house remix of an EDM track that absolutely sounds like Avicii. I hadn't even listened to the original track until now but I think Tony Romera pulled out the best part and sort of reversed the energy of the track, from a big crashy sugar high, into a cool head-nodder that has build but would spin forever on Infinite Jukebox. It loses the drop so that it can drop nicely into a mix; I can see what it's doing in Qrion's Crying in the Club playlist. Links: YT(image depicts tin of snus, a tobacco product) | Spotify | soundcloud
Joy Orbison - flight fm -- a fun weird electronic track. I thought it was annoying for about thirty seconds until I realized what it was doing. I love it because it's a droney synth making airplane doppler noises over minimal beats. it's fuzzy, it's sudden, it's a bit silly, and it switches up to stay fresh. also from Qrion's playlist. Links: YT | Spotify | soundcloud
Knock Over City - Digital Weed - (NSFW lyrics - drug ref and profanities) post-hardcore/punk track with a vocal sample from Teen Mom 2 up front but the lyrics are about turning away from the capitalist machine and being more chill, wrapped in the conceit of tabletop RPG encounters that tie all their recent EPs together. the band's a three-piece and their latest work features a couple brass instruments and vocal harmonies - you will hear a sax. they released the EPs (Dungeon Modules) as a themed LP (The Campaign) that seriously rips, it is so awesome, and I recommend their album It's Bad, Dude for more songs about being depressed. Links: YT | Spotify | Bandcamp
Minus the Bear - Women We Haven't Met Yet -- alt/math. sooo many guitars, so many songs smashed into one, guitar and synth like bells or like clock or like growling creature or like careering around corners. aaah, baby's first mathrock! it was the last time I listened to this (and improvised on the vocal line) that I understood very practically, rather than just intellectually, how much it's related to emo. Links: YT | Spotify | Bandcamp (full album, use ff button)
Child Seat - Something Good -- 80sy pop band put together post-2020 in LA, I always want to dance about it. the singer croons sulkily, beckoningly -- don't you wanna feeeel something good, I dunno how to change it but I wish I could. I truly don't know how I heard about them but I wish I could thank whoever put me onto them. highly recommend the next track on the album: Money. Links: YT | Spotify | bandcamp
Alex Wann remixing Route 94 ft. Jess Glynne - My Love (2024) -- dancy house remix of the 2014 house track (YT mv, nsfw) from Route 94 ft. Jess Glynne. the original is a lovely house track. this remix is right in the sweet spot of dancey building piano house for me, I think because the vocal sample doesn't really complete? I don't even know. something about it lends itself to infinite play. I love both. the remix I def got from Qrion's playlist, and it was stuck in my head for a week the first time and now it's probably gonna be again. LInks: YT | Spotify | soundcloud
Alone in the Heart of the Light - Genghis Tron -- synthy dreamy rich-layered prog quest opening credits, drums slowly build up to crashy excitement. god I love the drums on this. Genghis Tron is a metal band that went away for an indefinite while and came back with this. when this album came out, a friend of my brother in law posted about it and I feel so lucky that I gave it a listen because it ended up being one of my favorite albums that year. Links: YT | Spotify | bandcamp

Ganja White Night and Tape B presents: Ganja Tape
It's electronic with drum & bass, and some EDM

Label: SubCarbon Records
Growing up in the small town ofĀ Mons,Ā Belgium, the duo was in a way sheltered from the music industry of theĀ United States, allowing them to create a unique sound of their own. With their musical roots ranging from earlyĀ UKĀ bass and reggae vibes,Ā Ganja White NightĀ has twisted together their influences and spit out something truly fresh and their own. After a decade-plus deep discography,Ā Ganja White NightĀ struck a chord with their 2016 Mr.Ā Wobble LPĀ release, cementing their iconicĀ WobbleĀ sound. Centered around the idea of creating their own mini animated universe, the duo teamed up withĀ Ebo, a famousĀ BelgianĀ street artist, to bring their vision alive. With the debut ofĀ Wobble Master & LFO RequiemĀ full animated music videos in 2016, the story ofĀ Mr. WobbleĀ was born.

Subsequent albums ā which continued to tellĀ Mr. Wobble's adventurous tale throughĀ Ganja White Night's iconicĀ WobbleĀ sound ā includedĀ The Origins,Ā The One,Ā Dark Wobble, and their most recent album,Ā Unity. Their significant collaborations to date include bass-music powerhouses likeĀ Zeds Dead,Ā Subtronics,Ā Slander,Ā Liquid Stranger, and long-time collaboratorĀ Boogie T. Drawing similarities to the visual aspect of theĀ GorillazĀ and their unique style of telling a story through their music, the duo plans to continue exploring their own universe.
Tape B, bornĀ Kemal Berk Alkanat, is a dynamic force in today's electronic music scene, merging the nostalgic vibes of old-school dubstep with contemporary bass music and hip-hop. Born inĀ TurkeyĀ and raised in theĀ USĀ from the age of three,Ā Tape BĀ brings a distinctive sound that captivates with a blend of nostalgia and modernity, termed "Old School x New School." His musical journey began at theĀ University of Central Florida, influenced by early 2000s hip-hop and electronic pioneers likeĀ UKFĀ andĀ The Glitch Mob. His career took a professional turn after a revelatory experience at theĀ Lost Lands Music FestivalĀ in 2019.Ā Tape B's rise to prominence was fueled by viralĀ SoundCloudĀ mixes and dynamic live performances, including his iconic "Yo, Tape B" tag, which has become a recognizable call throughout modern clubland and festivals. Achieving significant traction with remixes and original tracks, including the standout "Trippy Land" withĀ MersivĀ andĀ Juicy J,Ā Tape BĀ has redefined expectations within bass music. As of 2024,Ā Tape BĀ achieved sellouts of every headline since December 2023, including rapid ticket sales atĀ Denver'sĀ Mission BallroomĀ andĀ New York'sĀ Great Hall.
instagram
His introduction ofĀ Tape B Block PartiesĀ in 2024, as recently showcased across Texas with two sold-out events, has brought classic and modern dubstep brilliance to the forefront, further cementing his influence in the scene. In August 2024,Ā Tape BĀ released a genre-blending collaboration with superstar producersĀ John SummitĀ andĀ Subtronics.Ā Tape BĀ remains a vibrant and influential figure in electronic music. His commitment to innovation, community, and joy through music continues to drive his rapidly ascending career.

HERES SOME INFO ABOUT COLA! (+my lil idea for Todd x Cola)
Name: (his actual name is a mystery)
Nickname: Cola
age: 20
Height: 5'7
Sexuality: Gay
Likes: Red velvet, drawing, art as a whole, cooking, going out, rnb, the color blue, pastel things
Hates: dry people, mixed signals, red velvet antis, ketchup, edm music, the color navy blue
(Todd x Cola below! pls be nice lol!)
Ever since Cola had his last break up, he's been pretty unmotivated and unmoved. it took a lot out of him because Cola was so attached to the man, he made him feel human and made him feel alive...just for him to make him feel like THIS
Cola would then decide to try to take some action on these emotions by making a song about it, he put it on soundcloud thinking it wouldn't take off but by a stroke a luck it definitely did.
He got relatively popular, despite him not doing many performances due to his shyness. He'd later hear from twitter that a vegan rockstar and his girlfriend have broken up because he cheated on her with a fellow bandmate. Just for Cola's manager to call him on the phone an hour later.
Colas manager told him that Envy is taking a break from the band, whether it's permanent or temporary is kind of a toss up, but she was gonna focus on her solo career instead of entertaining his ex's bullshit. Cola was confused why he was telling him all this, just to be told that they saw a brilliant business move
The manager told Cola that he could fill in for envy! their band is pretty popular too, and it could get more eyes on Cola's music as well, and the pay would be pretty good.
Cola was hesitant about doing it, but Cola would go through with it, just as a way get more eyes on his music...but he told the manager he was gonna complain about it and be a bitch about it every 5 minutes.
(A few weeks later)
The manager arranged a session with Cola and Todd, they'd meet up and make a song with each other that'd spearhead the collab!
Todd had a big head about it, since his band was pretty popular, he thought that Cola would be excited to work with him, just for Cola to humble the FUCK out of him.
They'd take a selfie with each other, but Cola was fake smiling, after the selfie, he went pretty cold, not wanting to talk or interact with Todd unless it was about the song. Cola was a perfectionist when it came to his work, so he was kind of a dick about re-recording lines, restacking vocals, etc. However, in Cola's mind he wasn't doing anything wrong just because Todd was a dick to envy.
All this dictating kinda got under Todd's skin, after all HE was the rockstar, so why is some random loser controlling him???
He couldn't argue with results tho...when they reached a stopping point, they both listened to the song, it sounded...perfect.
Todd was impressed, and even kept listening to it over and over, while Cola packed his things and got ready to leave. When Todd was getting ready to high five Cola, Cola just blankly stared at Todd and left for the bus. Todd didn't know why Cola was being so distant with him, they needed to work together after all.
While he was on the bus, Cola held true to his promise, he complained like a bitch about working with Todd, The manager would reluctantly listen to every word.
The next few practices, Todd would try to impress Cola, he felt like the reason why Cola hated him was because he wasn't good enough, so Todd would attempt at getting better when it came to his vocals, the way he played, etc. But it'd end up with him falling on his face and flopping.
Cola would see this and would chuckle. This was the first time Todd saw Cola get close to smiling...Cola would notice this and clear his throat trying to focus on pumping out these songs.
As time went on, Cola was slowly starting to complain less and less to the manager...he saw how much Todd was trying to impress him, and while 50% of the time it ended up failing, he couldn't help but laugh at how cute Todd was at times.
A connection was slowly starting to be formed between the two, during practices, now Todd and Cola would start to joke around a bit. They'd tease each other, laugh at each other, and ultimately make some of the best music the two have ever made! The music was helping Todd show that he was still awesome and worthy of respect, while it was helping Cola break out of his shell and become a bit more relaxed.
Todd would start to question Cola about the lyrics he'd propose sometimes. Cola would become a bit timid as he'd say that the lyrics were a bit personal. Todd would read these lyrics and would have a critique, they are all a bit, bummy...not every song has to be something sad. Cola would take it a bit personally, and would argue that these are experiences that he's gone through
Todd would blink and ask Cola why he just, don't have any happy experiences then, why don't he just, write about happy things so they don't bore the audience. Cola would toss a pencil at him and it'd spiral into an argument but todd would get his point across. Cola would say that he can't think of a time where he's been ACTUALLY happy before.
this would puzzle Todd and would decide to do a little something, just because he
a) wants to use this opportunity to get to know Cola better
and b) at least make the man feel better
and c) so they can go back to making good music
After practice, Todd would invite Cola out to get some (vegan) food with him. Cola was a bit hesitant, but he'd decide to go along with it. Cola would still have his walls up, but he'd also get a bit bashful because he's never been included in something in...a long time.
They'd both ask each other a bunch of questions while they went out. Todd did most of the questioning but Cola responded in such long and detailed answers that Todd couldn't help and listen to Cola speak for hours...eventually Todd would start to smile warmly because he was starting to see Cola for who he truly was instead of who he thought he was in his head..
But Cola would decide to take the moment to cut into his relationship with Envy...Todd was a bit hesitant to answer, even trying to deflect the question, but the persistent Cola would be able to press his foot on Todd's enough to get an answer out of him. Todd would confess that he's really bad with communication, they both kinda were...Envy was getting on his nerves and his ego got the better of him (like it tends to do). He broke things off with Lynette after the news got out, and the band moral has been pretty awkward lately. So Todd his primarily been separated from the band, and working with Cola has been the only thing he was kinda able to do without feeling TOO awkward
Cola sat there with a shocked expression on his face. He didn't expect Todd to be so...insightful...A part of him was moved by the way Todd talked. Usually Todd is pretty simple minded, but maybe this break up was what Todd needed to finally see how bad of a person he could be at times.
Cola would sigh and pat Todd's back, reassuring him that in time, Todd will become a better person..he's already doing a good job music wise...and he could see him and Todd becoming good friends..that's if Todd was open to the idea...
Todd lit up like a star, deciding to take a selfie to celebrate this momentous occasion, and this time...Cola was actually smiling.
the next few weeks the songs Cola would propose would be a bit more positive now.
(Later on)
It was finally time for them to perform. This would be pretty important because Cola rarely does any live performances, plus he's performing with an already popular band, so this was gonna be pretty big..
Cola was noticeably quiet this day, Todd was a bit surprised because normally Cola would be talking a lot and moving around a lot...Cola would confess that he's still pretty nervous about performing live...he's worried that he may mess up or even do something dumb.
Todd holds Cola's hands and reassures him that they'll be fine, instead of focusing on everyone else's faces...just worry about his face
"my...handsome ass face"
Todd meant it as a joke but Cola would blush softly and swat Todd away while laughing nervously.
When they got on stage, Cola did just as todd said, and it was a HIT! Todd and Cola's stage presence blended seamlessly with each other, to the point that some even thought THEY were dating.
Once the performance was over, Todd and Cola celebrated, they both acted like frat bros after they made it to the play offs, and for a moment the two of them locked eyes with each other while hugging...and just as they were about to do something...Cola's manager walked in to congratulate the both of them, causing both of them to have red ass faces while looking away from each other
it was safe to say that they were starting to grow pretty fond of each other, even hanging out with each other on days they didn't need to work or practice! Sometimes Cola would invite Todd over to his place to have a "private listening session" and others Todd would take Cola out on a "totally not a date" date.
but things would escalate until the night of new years eve, Todd was standing off to the side drunk as fuck and looking bummed as hell while everyone was partying. Cola decided to see what was going on since Todd wasn't the type to whine and mope at a party. Todd would sluggishly tell Cola that normally at 12 o clock, him and envy would be damn near swapping spit with each other as a tradition...and this was the first year where that kinda doesn't get to happen.
Cola would pat his shoulder and try to console Todd, but to no avail. Soon the clock would start to countdown, and Cola decided to be bold as fuck (maybe it was his mind, maybe it was the drinks) by kissing Todd on the cheek as soon as the clock struck 12. Todd's face turned red as he held Cola's face, taking a second to admire how cute he was before kissing him like he'd kiss envy...but with a bit more passion~ luckily the place was pretty crowded so maybe one or 2 people saw this happen
after the kiss, Cola would hold Todd close and huff trying to catch his breath...Cola told Todd they shouldn't go any further since Todd's love life is pretty messy right now...Todd nodded and agreed to this.
(The next day)
Cola woke up in a room half naked...his clothes were practically all over the floor...and the room he woke up in didn't look like his....there's no red velvet posters, no switch playing splatoon music...as he tried to peice together what happened...he'd turn around to see Todd smiling ear to ear in his sleep. This would make Cola scream his eyes out causing Todd to wake up in a panic, being just as confused as Cola before he figured out what happened between the two of them
....I guess they both figured out what happens after they both have 8 margaritas/ref
Cola would quickly get his clothes on, while Todd would try to calm him down, trying to explain that this is just a "happy accident", but Cola would toss a pillow at him. He was furious at both Todd AND himself for letting this happen...Cola would angrily tell Todd that
a) they can NOT let his manager figure out what happened
and b) the sex they had was MEANINGLESS and was not to happen again
Todd was a bit...heartbroken by this...he sadly nodded his head as he helped Cola get dressed.
While Cola walked back to his place...he was thinking about everything that happened...but he couldn't help but think of Todd's cute ass....Todd would try texting Cola the next couple of weeks but Cola would just ghost him as he tried to regain his peace and peice his emotions together.
He was trying to ignore the signs, but after the past few months...he felt like he may have fell in love with the man...but he was too nervous to actually say so...
So he did what he did best, and write a song about it. it was more somber and raw than anything he's ever wrote...the only thing left to do was to invite Todd over to another private listening session...
Todd listened to the song, blinking before looking softly at Cola. Cola sat next to him with his body curled up in a ball, his face was red as shit at this time...he felt like he was doing this for nothing because Cola assumed that Todd was straight..but Todd would accept Cola's confession, kissing his face before calling him a loser and a geek.
the private listening session got a lil..
steamy afterwards~ and this time it was a lot more fun now that both of them were in love and REAL love this time.
after they got done, Cola laid on the bed, and told Todd that he should probably keep this relationship a secret for now...he didn't want their relationship to become a public affair, because then none of the moments they share would be personal or meaningful anymore. Todd would assure Cola that this relationship is gonna be theirs and theirs alone.
that following week however...Envy would make a public statement saying that she was ready to go back to being in the band as the lead singer, effectively kicking Cola out. And....she was ready to forgive Todd and go back to being boyfriend and girlfriend...
Cola would read about this on twitter and would start to sweat a LOT...because this situation was gonna get MESSY.

Fantasy Species Music Preferences
Elves: The stereotype is that they were the original masters of classical, mainly because their music academia is insufferable about the supremacy of their composers, many of whom are still alive. Theyāre best known for acoustic layered with enough choir bucolic to make Fleet Foxes feel urban by comparison. Their other scene is symphonic/ballad/power metal dripping in heroic wanderlust. Drow elves are the rank and file among goth, but suffer from sectarianism. Elves donāt consider an album complete if it doesnāt have overarching lore. Singles are a faux pas.
Dwarves: While in the surface it sounds like straight viking metal, around four minutes in you realize the time signature has been progressing the whole time. No song is less than 6 minutes long, and 10 minutes is common. A separate scene featuring an odd mix of Gregorian chant, skald epic, and blues is localized to the point where a neighborhoodās favorite band could be unheard of the next town over. The rhythm section always kills, and their bassists would be legendary if they ever bothered to appear in public.
Goblins: EDM that mixes the manic energy of !!! with the smoky haze of Little Dragon. Songs occasionally devolve into noise music midway. Their stoner rock following is consistent and has enough fuzz to grow shag carpet on. Their soundcloud community spammed the site into submission on more than one occasion when their rival rap scenes got into an internal war. LPs are unheard of, and most music comes out in random bursts of singles.
Halflings: Their stereotype is a genre sitting squarely between limerick and shanty most of which is about the comfort of returning home, or growing a garden. Single-handedly created and killed the soft and pop rock genres in one career length. Their presence in pop totally dissolved when it became dance-oriented. Halfling groups release LPs in almost mechanically precise intervals between two and three years depending on the artist.
Orcs: Singly supporting the sustained thrash and industrial scenes. Leans mostly into hard rock and metal, with dedicated musicians that specialize in trading solos just to flex. Co-opted the punk scene from its goblin founders so hard that goblin punk groups on soundcloud are assumed orcish at first. Shanty-like acts hold a special place in each orcās history, but few acts catch on. Every orcish musician has a side project written out that they canāt find the right partner to play it with.
Humans: None of the other races understand the abandon and improvisation capability needed for human jazz, and have a hard time hearing influences in fusion music. The elves came close with a scant few math rock groups, and orcs keep trying but canāt cooperate long enough to play more than a song or two with humans.

10 Years of DJing
In the immortal words of Hilary Duff: "Let's go back... back to the beginning..."
10 years ago today, I began my DJ project Blitz Comet and released my first DJ Mix - Summertime Vol. 1. It was the summer of 2013. I had just finished Middle School and what I thought at the time was the worst school year of my life. Though I was nervous about starting High School, nothing made me happier than the school year and Middle School being over and I was looking forward to kicking back and taking a much-needed rest. And kicked back I did.
I spent a chunk of that summer watching glued to Cartoon Network and Disney XD watching Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Gravity Falls, hanging out with my friends in the scorching Pennsylvania heat, writing on the blog I had at the time, figuring out Tumblr, and after asking for it for some time, my sister finally gave me her old iPod Touch and from there I set up profiles on Instagram and Vine (remember that?) and started filling it up with music.
Like all kids, I got bored at points during the summer and while downloading songs for my new iPod, I also got some blank CDs my Dad had in his office and started making mix CDs (remember those?) and I'd play on our CD Changer that was practically never touched in our family room. From there, I stumbled upon a site called Mixtaping.fm (which sadly no longer exists) and started making mixtapes there. I was having a lot of fun with it and decided that I wanted to turn the mixtapes I was making into actual DJ Mixes. I didn't know anything about how to make them, so I went on YouTube and watched a tutorial on how to make mixes on Audacity, which I knew how to use. Shortly afterward, I made my first official DJ Mix, consisting of 7 songs I was heavily listening to at the time. Blitz Comet Presents Summertime Vol. 1 shortly after dropped on Mixtaping.FM and Mixcloud, and the rest is history.
Since then, I've worked on my mixing skills, learned how to use actual DJ software, and have released almost 50 mixes, a handful of mashups, and co-produced some tracks. And there's still more to be done! I want to thank everyone who's been listening and supporting the past decade. Two years ago, I released a remixed and rearranged version of the mix titled Summertime '13, which is available to listen to on SoundCloud and Mixcloud. If you have a half-hour to kill today and are in the mood to listen to some early 2010's EDM, give it a listen! And while I never made another volume of Summertime and it's been a pretty quiet year for Blitz Comet thus far, that may change come this weekend...

"Invisible Bruises" ā Kellytranscend (Song Review)
Invisible Bruises by Kellytranscend is an atmospheric indie/electronic pop track that blends dreamlike synths with honest singer-songwriter melodies.
The song lives up to Kellytranscendās own description of her style as weaving together āEDM, alternative rock, spoken word, and ambient textures.ā
In practice, that means moody beats under gently plucked guitar or piano, with emotive vocals up front. The overall vibe is polished and modern, fitting comfortably in the indie-pop/electronic crossover niche.
Lyrics & Theme
Lyrically, Invisible Bruises digs into hidden emotional scars. The title itself suggests inner wounds from a toxic relationship or personal turmoil, and Kellyās songwriting is intimate and sincere and talks about the toxic practices of gaslighting on victims.
The emotional core feels like vulnerability transforming into resilience. This raw honesty follows the indie singer-songwriter tradition of sincerity and confronting real emotions.
Rough Trade even notes that our fondness for downbeat, heartfelt songs partly comes from ālean[ing] into [them] to feel more understood.ā
Production & Sound
On production, the track sounds very clean and immersive. Soft synth pads or ambient guitar textures float under tight drum programming, creating a spacious backdrop. The mix is clear and well-balanced:
Vocals sit smoothly atop the arrangement, and tasteful reverb adds dreaminess without obscuring the lyrics.
The mastering gives the song a radio-ready brightness and punch, comparable to professional indie-pop releases.
Target Audience & Scene
The song fits squarely in the modern indie/pop scene. Its listeners are likely young adults who crave emotional authenticity.
For example, SoundCloudās user base is mostly in the 18ā34 age range.
so Invisible Bruises will especially appeal to that demographic.
Age: Primarily late teens to early thirties (SoundCloud skews 18ā34)
Psychographics: Sensitive, introspective, and creative; looking for cathartic, empowering music.
Music tastes: Fans of atmospheric indie/electronic pop (think Lorde, MUNA, or alternative singer-songwriters).
Within the broader indie-electronic landscape, Kellytranscend stands out by mixing genres and adding cinematic polish.
Her brand focuses on āvulnerability, empowerment, and transformation,ā
This track resonates with listeners who value smart, emotive storytelling in pop music.
Verdict
Invisible Bruises is a compelling showcase of Kellytranscendās talents. It marries tightly-produced modern instrumentation with evocative, self-reflective lyrics.
The result is a track that feels both accessible and deeply personal.
In the crowded indie-pop world, itās professionally crafted and emotionally genuine ā a combination thatās sure to please listeners.
Highly recommended for fans of intelligent, mood-driven pop; this is one to watch from Kellytranscend.

From Struggle to Strength: The Story Behind 'Move On' Every artist has that one song that truly captures a moment of change, a turning point in their journey. For Bleec, that song is "Move On." Originally written a decade ago, the song has evolved into an uplifting anthem about resilience, renewal, and embracing the future. With dreamy, energetic production and deeply personal lyrics, "Move On" is a reminder that the past does not define usābetter days are always ahead. In this exclusive interview, we dive into the creative process behind "Move On," exploring how the song transformed from a simple piano melody into a fully produced track. Bleec shares insights into their musical evolution, inspirations, and the challenges of recording as an independent artist. We also get a glimpse into their future projects, including a debut studio album that promises to push their sound even further. From self-production to personal storytelling, this conversation reveals the heart and soul behind "Move On." Join us as we explore the journey of an artist who is always on the riseāboth in music and in life. Listen to Move On https://open.spotify.com/track/6pShLd2UmIm8e6wbNNj5iY?si=bTLAoVEzRSW37mcLsC_uIQ Follow Bleec on Facebook Spotify Soundcloud Youtube Instagram Tiktok Ā Ā What personal experiences or stories inspired you to write "Move On"? I actually wrote this song 10 years ago. I really liked the chords and didnāt think much of it at the time. The lyrics were written in a gradual process, however the title has always been the same. This song is an uplifting and hopeful anthem about leaving the past behind and looking ahead. It starts with feelings of struggle and sadness, but as it goes on, the message becomes clearāit's time to let go and move forward. The chorus is a strong reminder that the past doesnāt define you, and better days are ahead. With a dreamy, energetic sound, itās the perfect song for anyone ready for a fresh start. Can you walk us through your creative process while developing this single? How did the song evolve from its initial concept to the final version? Like many of my songs, I start with just sitting by my piano and my fingers start to play. Whatever emotions I am feeling at that moment are transcribed into the sound you hear. From there I add and produce all the surrounding elements. Record more instruments and vocals. In the end I mix and master it to the best of my ability. [caption id="attachment_58912" align="alignnone" width="1890"] Whatever emotions I am feeling at that moment are transcribed into the sound you hear. From there I add and produce all the surroundin[/caption] Musical Style and Evolution: How does "Move On" reflect your musical evolution? Are there new elements or styles you've incorporated that differ from your previous work? When playing the song for friends, they hear similarities to bands like Owl City, Passion Pit and Parade of Lights. Looking back, I certainly see those connections. The song has a very atmospheric poppy vibe to it, which is exactly what I wanted to achieve. Iāve experimented with a lot of different styles in the past. From EDM, Techno, to Punk-Rock and Folk. I find however this style fits my persona well at the moment and I will be producing even more blends of different genres in the future. Did you collaborate with other artists, producers, or songwriters on "Move On"? If so, how did these collaborations influence the final outcome? Nope, just me myself and I. What were the biggest challenges you encountered during the production of "Move On," and how did you overcome them? The vocals have always been a difficult part for me. Since I record at home, my resources are limited. However I plan to record the next songs in a professional studio, so you can look forward to cleaner vocals :) What message or emotions do you hope listeners take away from "Move On"? As I said before, itās a reminder that the past doesnāt define you, and better days are ahead.
Whatever struggles you are going through, there will always be tomorrow and a new horizon with endless possibilities to reach out and grab. Are there any music videos or visual projects accompanying the release? How do they complement the song's theme? Iāve opted for a variation of short clips to promote this song. Many are shot outside in front of a typical Swiss landscape and forest. Nature symbolises growth and life, which is also what Iām trying to preach in this song. https://open.spotify.com/artist/0OSRbIRJExkTWsQSIPelU4?si=pSxMiRAhREKi_zdZyF1Ahg How has the initial response been from your audience and critics? Has any feedback surprised you? In the past Iāve played this song live on numerous occasions and I always got great responses from it. Online Iāve gotten many positive reviews and also a radio play on a nation wide station, for which I was super excited for. Does "Move On" hint at the direction of your upcoming projects or an album? What can fans expect next from you? I actually am currently working on my very first studio album. This song will be remastered and also featured on the album so stay tuned! Iām also working on some side projects and visualisations for other singles. One might be dropping sooner than you think!
