He is 38 in this AU.

He was in prison for several years after All Stars, but he sent plenty of letters to his castmates.

Once he was released, he had a plan to make amends with all of them, but there was one very special person he needed to pay a visit to.

He had to go find Scott, he needed to see if Scott was alright.

After asking around, he finally tracked Scott down.

It was a pretty long drive to get there, but it was all worth it.

When he showed up at Scott's renovated farmhouse, (Thanks to Cameron splitting his prize cash from Revenge Of The Island up amongst the cast members) Scott cried tears of joy and relief when he opened the door and saw Duncan standing there.

Even though they hadn't seen each other in years, their love from All Stars remained.

Scott slept better than he had in years with Duncan by his side.

While they never ended up having kids together, Duncan was happy to live on the farm with Scott and Butterscotch.

Idk, I find it interesting that Raine has much less visible scarring than Hunter post-possession. With Hunter, it looks like at least two-fifths of his visible skin is now scars. Hunter was scarred pre-possession, of course, but the only obvious scar was his cheek one. Raine only got tear tracks and an ear blob. That's... Interesting, considering Belos was possessing Raine for much longer. Perhaps it's because Raine has a bile sac, and it was helping them resist Belos, whereas Hunter was magicless. Maybe the Belos goop (we need to come up with a better name for that) surfaces easiest on existing wounds, and Hunter just had more entry points in general (hence, the facial scar and ear nick being scarred specifically). Or maybe it's just because Belos fought in Hunter, and the curse overtook Hunter's whole body, but Raine only got tear tracks because that's the only parts Belos' curse overtook. It's ambiguous. For all we know, Belos could've purposefully scarred Hunter and held back on Raine because he needed them to look inconspicuous to the Collector. Who knows?

i know that Vincent Valentine is pretty much immortal. i know the specifics of how he managed to survive sleeping for 30 years in a coffin don't truly matter. i know that he canonically doesn't need to eat or sleep.

but still– how the fuck did he not starve to death????

if you EXPEND ENERGY (which happens naturally just by. existing) then you need to REGAIN ENERGY (eating). Vincent not needing to eat is fucking stupid!!!!!

It's so easy to fix this!!! All you need to do is say that Hojo's experiments gave him the ability to go into a state of extreme energy preservation like hibernation or brumation!!! that's all you need to do!!! You can just change things a little and then it makes More Sense!!

The timeline goes: Hojo experiments on Vincent -> the life support Vincent is on (so that Hojo doesn't lose his subject too soon for his liking) stops being enough to sustain him due to his enhancements -> Vincent's body shuts down -> Lucrecia puts the Proto Materia in Vincent's chest –> Vincent doesn't die and instead goes into a hibernation-like state –> Hojo gets bored, takes Vincent off life support and throws him in the coffin -> Vincent hibernates for 20-30 years while both Hojo and Lucrecia think he's dead

just. let it be hibernation. it gives me less of a headache than the idea that Vincent doesn't need to eat anymore.

how well written and realistic the books were. peeta loses his leg to the infection, katniss loses her hearing in one ear, finnick suffers from extreme ptsd and it shows in district 13, peeta not being an easy fix. he still suffers years later, but he slowly pieces himself back together. Johanna’s anger, people often don’t like the fact that ptsd DOES make you angry, haymitch’s backstory and effie’s growth.
