Fishing during the waning moon phase may yield fewer catches but still offers some activity.

Simon, wearing a blue tunic, is kneeling before Christ. He has been fishing unsuccessfully on the Lake of Gennesaret in the Sea of Galilee. Jesus tells him to cast his nets into deep water, which produces such a large catch that the boat overflows with fish. Simon exclaims that he is unworthy of such a miracle. Shipping delays

Hey gang!

I wanted to give you an update with shipping stuff.

I check every day, usually twice a day, to keep track of calendars, and if they’ve been delivered. I’ve got a spreadsheet and everything. These things are my babies and I wanna make sure they get to their new homes.

Every calendar I mailed out last Friday hasn’t had its tracking updated. GA is currently ranking last in postal service so, I’m not entirely surprised, but I am freaking out a little because that shipment was more calendars than I have left over, so I can’t replace all of them. I’m hoping to see some movement today or tomorrow, and if I don’t, I’ll be submitting some missing mail tickets.

Almost everyone else that’s ordered one in the US has gotten theirs by now. If you got a shipping notification that your calendar went out last Friday and you HAVE received your calendar, I’d love to know! Please reach out to me!

Today is Christmas Eve, but don't worry, we have several days left on our secular advent calendar of THE LATEST LITERACY WALLCHART FOR CHILDREN. This is just Day 14!

This must be very exciting for my UK followers, who I believe get oranges on Christmas? No? Satsumas? Which, by the way, is not what they’re called in Japanese—mandarin oranges are mikan. Satsuma is the former name of a region where they were grown. If you went to a supermarket asking for satsuma, I think you’d be given a sweet potato (satsuma-imo) or a kind of fish cake (satsuma-age). Both of which are nice! Only one of which is sometimes juicy.
