For the general strike: consider making a piece of art for Palestine. It can be writing, drawing, filming, music — anything. Make a little zine about your feelings, your thoughts. Write a poem about your grief. Paint a picture of the way you wish the world looked. Surround yourself with Palestinian music and let it inspire you. It doesn't have to be big, even a doodle is enough. They're afraid of your, our, voices, so speak in whatever way that rings truest to you.

A general strike has been declared in the West Bank
A comprehensive strike in the occupied West Bank to protest Israel’s violent incursions paralysed life in the occupied territory on Sunday.
The strike came in response to calls from political forces, unions, and civil society organisations after the Israeli army raided the Tulkarm city and the Nur Shams camp in the northern West Bank.
At least 14 Palestinians were killed in Israeli military raids on the Nur Shams refugee camp, the Palestinian Health Ministry said Saturday.
Earlier Saturday, Faisal Salama, the head of the services committee in the Nur Shams camp, told Anadolu that the Israeli attack caused massive damage to infrastructure in the camp.
Parallel to its onslaught on the Gaza Strip since 7 October, the Israeli army has escalated raids and arrests in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.
it's also realizing that these movies existed because adults felt like those ants. They wanted to organize and do something and they felt like they couldn't so they made those movies for us. So that the next generation of workers would understand their fate and power and be motivated to change our reality.
I'm an anticapitalist because some people at Pixar a long time ago put all of their faith and hope into teaching kids, that we deserved better. And that one day we'd be big enough to fight for it.
DO NOT GO TO WORK, SCHOOL, OR OPEN YOUR BUSINESS FRIDAY
There is a call for a GLOBAL general strike in solidarity with Palestine to force governments to stop supporting the state of israel and the genocide of Palestinians. I am literally begging you all to act. If you look at past genocides and say, I would not have been complicit in that, then you NEED to act. I am skipping a midterm on Friday that will cause me to fail the class I am in. I've urged the prof to reschedule, but regardless, I will not go. Nothing is more important than stopping a genocide. There is more power in numbers, the more of us who do it globally, the less likely we are to be punished. I am linking below the instagram post that has the full information on the strike. PLEASE reblog and get the word out. PLEASE tag people with far reach. We cannot be complacent and complicit in the face of genocide. If you need posters to plaster around your community, DM me, I have some done (in english as I am not fluent in anything else at the moment). We need committed solidarity from all communities. Free Palestine is disability justice. It is a form of Indigenous liberation. It is connected to all of our struggles.
Actually I think we should spend some time confronting the fact that CEOs know exactly how many cents to change individual prices and wages by, when to do it, what year is most profitable, how many hours employees need to work to meet quarterly goals, how many need to be fired, etc.
They run businesses down to the second and last penny you know?
They know what they're doing, how much it cost, how much they'll profit, and exactly how much time they need.
Doesnt it seem malicious in that context that our "free" time is just enough to do chores and sleep? For wages to be Just Enough to survive on?
They convinced us to live and breathe for them at a cost so low that we can barely afford to survive when we're not at work.
And they know that its a steal of a deal.
So why don't we?
Why don't we do something about it?
Start talking about a general strike.
“We have to pay for our sins of the past. Back in 1980 when Reagan at the time fired patco workers, everybody in this country should have stood up and walked the hell out,” Fain said. “We missed the opportunity then, but we’re not going to miss it in 2028. That’s the plan. We want a general strike. We want everybody walking out just like they do in other countries.”
He reaffirmed ambitious plans to organize a general strike for 1 May 2028, coinciding with International Solidarity Day or May Day.
