#Grimmel mentioning

I have a silly idea for in between Httyd2 and Httyd3.
Okay, so, it’s gonna he called “Return to the edge.” Because well, Race to the edge- you get my point.
The gang, including Eret and Valka, go to the edge. Maybe to restore it as a new base when on trips? Both V and E get huts, everything is overgrown.
And maybe a new villain of some sorts? Maybe traces of Grimmel?? Who knows.
We get more detail into the characters, backstorys, ect. (Mostly Eret and Valka, both having an episode based on them.)
Hiccup grieving his father, but everyone reassures him. Fishlegs finally gets to manage Ruffnut on a date so they start dating.
Snotlout given up on Ruffnut, but, once saved by Valka in some sort of way, he gets a new liking. (Platonically, like a “omg, you’re so cool” way.)
Tuffnut still has Chicken you motherfuckers.
Eret chats with Snotlout about his “obsessive” ways to Valka. He denies it and calls him jealous.
We get shown how their armor was made!!
Thats really all the idea’s i have here:)

I know I'm five years late on this and frankly this conversation is really fucking annoying at this point, but I gained analytical skills just recently, got hyperfixated on HTTYD again and have few things on my mind;
There's a ridiculous amount of bad writing decisions regarding the third movie's main antagonist and even more in the entirety of the film. However in my opinion, Grimmel's character could improve even if you kept all other aspects the same by getting rid of one plot point. And that is "drugging deathgrippers with their own venom".
One the dumbest parts of THW, only beaten by Toothless & light fury's boring romance and the movie's message. But the difference between those is those at least serve some purpose. This could go unmentioned and much wouldn't change. Sure, it shows us Grimmel uses their venom for his crossbow arrows, other than that, the "slavery" aspect is useless. All it does is make him ridiculously evil. Because the audience forgot he's not nice, apparently.
What I'm getting at is - I believe a better alternative would be the deathgrippers serving Grimmel not because they're forced to, but because they want to. Make them have genuine bond like Hiccup has with Toothless.
In universe justification: Deathgrippers are said to be intelligent dragons, so they'd probably understand that working with some creature who helps them hunt is beneficial for them. And since they're pack animals, hunting also works as a bonding activity. This would be a perfect gateway for Grimmel to make them more loyal to him. They don't necessarily need to have Hiccup & Toothless' bond (although I would personaly prefer it that way). Think of it like the speedstinger in RTTE - Despite not liking Snotlout at all, it defended him against the other speedstingers because it considered him a part of it's pack.
Writing/narrative justification: Having a group of dragons take part in killing simply for their enjoyment portrays them as intelligent creatures, which emphasizes how similiar dragons are to humans. Some are assholes just because! Also it means them dying at the end isn't a horrible way of making your audience question your protagonist's morals, since in this version they kinda deserved it.
Grimmel being friends with a bunch of dragons while hating all the others gives him depth as a character - it makes him a hypocrite.
But most importantly, Hiccup and Grimmel being parallels would be much clearer. It shows how they're the same person on different paths, that he could be like Hiccup but choose not to. Or it could lead to him being a parallel to Valka. Older person who doesn't like other people and prefers living with dragons? Sounds like Valka to me!
Now this could create a plot hole with the whole Alpha thing, since in canon they don't listen due to being drugged. However I choose to ignore that because I don't like the idea of every dragon mindlessly following Toothless no matter what personality and concept of the alpha in itself.

Grimmel would have been a more terrifying villain had he been written just a lil ya know better. Like compared to villains like Viggo Grimborn and Drago Bludvist he felt lacking somehow.
I still stand with the fact the Night Furies just left the archipelago after Grimmel downed several key members of the flock. One of them being Toothless' sire. And he just took credit saying they were all gone. (i have a very detailed thing about this with my main Toothy and its just really good)

hey! i’m an artist and i was wondering what about the httyd crossover art made it obviously AI. i’m trying to get better at recognizing AI versus real art and i totally would have just not clocked that.
Hey! This is TOTALLY okay to not have recognized it, because I DIDN'T AT FIRST, EITHER. Unfortunately there’s no real foolproof way to distinguish real art from the fake stuff. However I have noticed a general rule of thumb while browsing these last few months.
Tumblr media
So this is the AI generated image I used as inspiration. I will not be tagging the account that posted it because I do not condone bullying of any type, but it’s important to mention that this was part of a set of images:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is important because one of the BIGGEST things you can use to your advantage is context clues. This is the thing that clued me in: right off the bat we can see that there is NO consistency between these three images. The art style and outfits change with every generated image. They're vaguely related (I.E. characters that resemble the Big Four are on some sort of adventure?) and that's about it. Going to the account in question proved that all they posted were AI generated images. All of which have many red flags, but for clarity's sake we'll stick with the one that I used.
Tumblr media
The first thing that caught my eye was this???? Amorphous Blob in the background. Which is obviously supposed to be knights or a dragon or something.
Again, context clues come into play here. Artists will draw everything With A Purpose. And if what they're drawing is fanart, you are going to recognize most of what you see in the image. Even if there are mistakes.
In the context of this image, it looks like the Four are supposed to be running from these people. The thing that drew my attention to it was the fact that I Didn't Recognize The Villains, and this is because there is nothing to recognize. These shapes aren't Drago, or Grimmel, or Pitch, or any other villain we usually associate with ROTBTD. They're just Amorphous Blobs that are vaguely villain shaped.
Which brings me to my second point:
Tumblr media
Do you see the way they're standing? There is no purpose to this. It throws the entire image off. Your eye is drawn to the Amorphous Villain Blobs in the background, and these characters are not reacting to them one bit.
Now I'm not saying that all images have to have a story behind them, but if this were created by a person, it clearly would have had one. Our group here is not telling a story, they are posing.
This is because the AI does not see the image as a whole, but as two separate components: the setting, and the description of the characters that the prompter dictates. I.E. "Merida from Brave, Jack Frost from ROTG, Rapunzel from Tangled, and Hiccup from HTTYD standing next to each other"
Now obviously the most pressing part of this prompt are the characters themselves. So the AI prioritizes that and tries to spit out something that WE recognize as "Merida from Brave, Jack Frost from ROTG, Rapunzel from Tangled, and Hiccup from HTTYD standing next to each other".
This, more times than not, is going to end up with this stagnant posing. Because AI cannot create, it can only emulate. And even then, it still can't do it right. Case in point:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is not Hiccup. The AI totally thinks this is Eugene Fitzherbert. Look at the pose. The facial structure. The goatee. The smirk. The outfits. He's always next to Raps. Why does he have a quiver? Where's Toothless? His braids? His scar??
Tumblr media
HE HAS BOTH OF HIS LEGS.
The AI. Cannot even get the most important part of it's prompt correct.
And that's just the beginning. Here:
Tumblr media
More amorphous shapes.
So these are obviously supposed to be utility belts, but I mean. Look at them. The perspective is all off. There are useless straps. I don't even know what that cluster behind Jack's left arm is supposed to be.
This is a prime example of AI emulating without understanding structure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can see this particularly in Jack, between his hands, the "tassels" of his tunic, and the odd wrinkles of his boots. There's just not any structure here whatsoever.
Lastly, AI CANNOT CREATE PATTERNS.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are the side-by-sides of the shit I had to deal with when redesigning their outfits. Please someone acknowledge this. This killed me inside. THIS is most recognizable to me, and usually what I look for first if I'm wary about an art piece. These clusterfuck bunches of color. I hate them. I hate them so. much.
Anyways here's some other miscellaneous things I've noticed:
Tumblr media
Danny Phantom Eyes
Tumblr media
???? Thumb? (and random sword sheath)
Tumblr media
Collarbone Necklace (corset from hell)
Tumblr media
No Staff :( No Bow :(
Tumblr media
What is that.
So yeah. Truly the best thing to do is to just. study it. A lot of times you aren't gonna notice anything just looking at the big picture, you need to zoom in and focus on the little details. Obviously I'm not like an expert in AI or anything, but I do have a degree in animation practices and I'm. You know. A human being. So.
In conclusion:
Tumblr media
(Y'all should totally reblog my redesign of this btw)

I’m sorry but Viggo was a MUCH better villain compared to Grimmel. Viggo was more threatening, smart, and calculating in comparison. Not to mention Hiccup actually LOST to him a few times
Grimmel just kinda felt like a half-baked version of him lol. Granted this could just be because he was restricted due to him being in an hour long movie rather than a multi-season series. But my point still stands
(I still like movie 3 to be clear, I just have a LOT of criticisms with it lol)
Tumblr media
(I can’t believe I made this meme lol)

hello can you do a hiccup x reader one where reader has a whole night fury army with her in httyd 2 or 3 🥰
Ofc I can!! 🫶🫶 I love writing for Hiccup
𝑬𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒑𝒆
Pairing: Hiccup x Fem!reader
Timeline: HTTYD 3, the fight against Grimmel
Synopsis: You save the day with the help of your personal “army”
TW: Blood + injuries, mentions of weapons
Also (Name) doesn’t show up until a little bit later
Hiccup backed up against the wall of the ship, clutching his abdomen. He groaned in pain as he applied pressure to the wound, blood seeping through his armor.
“It seems like you’ve lost, Hiccup. Give the night fury up to me,” Grimmel commanded.
“I’d rather die,” Hiccup spat.
Grimmel hummed dismissively. “Then you will die.” He raised his weapon above his head, and the smaller man turned away and shut his eyes.
The clang of a sword and no impact influenced Hiccup to open his eyes. Snotlout stood in front of him, along with Tuffnut. The pair shoved him away from the barely awake young man.
“Stay with me, man,” Tuffnut rasped.
“Yeah dude, don’t die on us!” Snotlout added as he faced down with Grimmel.
“I’ll be fine, Tuffnut. Go help Snotlout,” Hiccup said. He attempted to stand up, but curled into himself as he coughed uo blood.
“Dude, you’re not okay,” Tuffnut asserted. He called for someone else as he begged Hiccup to open his eyes.
Hiccup’s last coherent thought was I never got to ask her to…
A deafening screech echoed on the water, and Grimmel looked up from his battle with Snotlout, only to shrink back as the late evening sky became dotted with Night Furies. However, the one that stood out was the girl on the Night Fury in front of the army.
(Name) signaled with her hand, bringing it down in a chopping motion. Plasma blasts flew like comets towards the fleet of ships. Panicked screams overlapped one another as fire spread across the ships.
“Hiccup!” (Name) screamed as she clambered off of her dragon and ran towards the aforementioned man.
“Wake up!” She slapped him, and the brunette woke up with a start.
“Agh- huh?” Hiccup groaned, using what little remaining energy he had to rub his cheek.
“You scared me! I thought you died!” (Name) shook the man as he spoke, and he became dizzy from blood loss and the rapid motions.
“S…stop” The brunette coughed.
“Sorry, Hiccup” You apologized.
“Let’s get you home,” The woman hoisted the chieftain into her arms and draped him across her dragon’s back.

I feel like if Hiccup were to be a villain, he wouldn’t be like Viggo and/or like Grimmel. He’d probably just be the same but crank his ego to a hundred. Even if he didn’t kill Toothless, there are so many potentials in his story after helping Toothless that could have made him a villain. Lowkey would be cool to see an episode of one of the villains point of view of Hiccup, wether or not they see themselves as a hero to their story or aware they are terrible.
Omg, that’s a take I don’t really see about Dark Hiccup! I haven’t thought about him being different than Viggo or Grimmel, but now that you mention it, I can definitely see the potential. Like when he set that guy on fire in The Serpent’s Heir and just watched him burn…
And oh my god, I would have loved to see that!!! An episode about Hiccup from an antagonist’s perspective would be so cool. I want it.

Since it's been a hot minute: Trans Hiccup Headcanons(with some bonus trans Astrid)
He started experimenting with more masculine clothes at around 4-5 years old and expressed an interest in using male pronouns shortly after
Stoick was always very happy and supportive of Hiccup, though this was mainly because he always wanted a son to begin with
The 'I think you brought me the wrong offspring' rant in httyd 1 was born of both the other insecurities Hiccup had about being a viking in general and also him feeling 'incorrect' and like he wasn't really a man (which, same bro)
He struggled with trying to be the perfect son for his dad for most of his life
Valka had a hunch from the minute Hiccup was born. She often made jokes about how Stoick already had a son, he'd just show himself a little later. When she saw Hiccup in httyd 2 she recognized his face and the scar and was very proud that he'd grown up to be who he is
Gobber was the one who taught Hiccup how to bind
Gobber would also physically fight any village kids and/or adults who tried to bully Hiccup for being trans, which was rare to begin with since most people were more concerned with Hiccup's lack of general viking-ness
Hicstrid t4t supremacy bitches
Speaking of Astrid, her family followed more traditional last name culture, which is why her last name is Hofferson. She high-key hates this fact but the name 'Astrid' draws attention away from it, and unless told people assume it's some classic irony that a woman would have a last name that essentially means 'Son of Hoffer'
Part of why Hiccup and Astrid get along so well is because they understand the self doubt and the internal and external struggles of being yourself while also trying to be who everyone expects you to be
Hiccup has tried to DIY his top surgery at least five or so times. He was usually stopped by Gobber, other times he managed only one small cut before backing out
Being accepted into 'the guy group' was one of the best days of his life
As mentioned in my first trans Hiccup post, Dagur got the news when they were kids and, even though he didn't fully understand, he started religiously calling Hiccup 'brother'
Dagur's tormenting was also a way to try and help Hiccup 'man up'. It didn't really work as intended, unsurprisingly
The only villains who would be mean about Hiccup being trans are Drago, Grimmel, and Johann. Johann in secret because, you know, undercover/traitor stuff yada yada 😒
Also Spitelout. Spitelout would be mean about it
Gothi knows how to make what is essentially HRT gel, which Hiccup is immensely grateful for
Okay, all I got for now. Will add more as my brain continues to just stew on this fandom.
BTW, I HC Hiccup as trans masc in the first place because I'm trans masc and he's a comfort character of mine so, like I do with all my comfort characters, I'm projecting. This includes but is not limited to the trans-ification.
It's pretty much the same thing with Astrid, but reversed

with hidden world I can’t help but think how fucking dare they finally decide to be book accurate and take the beautiful bittersweet ending of the books where the dragons go into hiding as a last resort and do it that badly that everyone hates it like buddy you are not the books there was no dragon rebellion no slavery mentioned as early as the second book no rein of grimbeard the ghastly no dragons just as smart as humans with their own language who could argue about best praxis for the freedom of dragons with hiccup you could not pull that off
Sorry i just had to get that off my chest
So, for info: I did not even know there was more than one httyd book... turns out there are 12?! But after informing myself by watching this video by Dominic noble. I have seen all 3 movies now. I do not have seen the shows, or the other short movies.
Why DreamWorks? Like adaptation wise this movie is nothing like the book. It is completely different. Adaptation wise? a flop. Independent movie wise? Brilliant.
But I am fully with you. DreamWorks created this fully independent Movieverse, they did not care about the books, so why did they make this ending decision? It does not make any sense, the books had 12 novels preluding this ending and in the movies its like this side quest in movie 3. It is a side quest of the toothless girlfriend side quest and the Grimmel side quest. This entire movie feels like just side quests.
While Movie one had hiccup and toothless meeting and their relationship and the relationships between hiccup and the other members of the village. Movie 2 is about Hiccup finding his mother and their new relationship between the established characters, such as Hiccup Stoick and Gobbler, and Hiccups Mum. Movie 2 also talks about the theme of losing one’s parents in Stoick’s death and about stepping up and taking responsibility. What does Movie 3 talk about? About how you should leave your best friend that you have known for years for a hot girl you have seen once?
Also, the logistics about butting ALL the dragons into the hidden world is just… no. I don’t know how its in the books. But the movies did not give me the impression that dragons are a hivemind that just can all decide to go into the hole in the ground now… Also isn’t there a range thing to toothless alpha ability? This entire movie makes no sense at all. And for me this movie never happened in the httyd canon.

“rahh they shouldn’t have sent the dragons away for their own safety! they were giving up and admitting defeat! they can easily take any threat!” first off, no they can’t, hiccup basically fell to his death like two seconds before sending the dragons away, and the year before that the fight over dragons cost him his father and berk its chief, not to mention how many homes were destroyed and how many ppl were hurt in both the second and third movies. drago’s bewilderbeast’s ice destroyed the village. grimmel burned it down a year later. that kind of perpetuity of violence is so irresponsible for a leader to allow to continue indefinitely???? just bc “we can win though probably!” ?????? things are different in the earlier movies and tv shows BC THEY SHOW THE PROGRESSION OF VIOLENCE. after the first battle, they’re not gonna give up trying. after the third battle, they’re not gonna give up trying. after six YEARS of trying to change the world for the better (and the TWENTY YEARS hiccup knows valka spent trying to do the same thing), only to find that his island of people and dragons is in just as much (or really, even more) danger than before? yeah, excuse them for maybe considering “giving up.” in the first two movies and the shows, they hadn’t lost enough for it all to amount to such a drastic decision. by the time of thw, they had lost so much, and u guys apparently can’t comprehend the toll that takes. hiccup’s goal was always to protect dragons. how is leaving them vulnerable protecting them???? how is letting them continuously battle for their lives protecting them??? do u guys think these ppl and dragons have an endless battery for war and violence?????? the point was that violence was unavoidable, and no good leader of humans or dragons would let that continue even if there’s a noble cause.

The Use of Dragonskins (HTTYD/RTTE)
Tumblr media
Hello, my fellow Furians! Welcome to another article! Today, we'll be talking about dragonskins and their usage.
In the HTTYD books, dragonskins are used to make fireproof items and are even commonly used to make fireproof suits. It's also meant to be worn as a type of body armor. Either it can refute arrows or cuts, or it was used to defend against dragon fire (since in this world, Vikings used dragons as hunting companions and steeds of war like how one uses horses and dogs). According to "How To Twist A Dragon's Tale", the Lava-Lout Tribe were particularly famous and distinctive for always wearing dragonskin suits to protect them from fire and heat, since they live on a volcanic island.
In the TV series, it's quite different. There are no scenes that provide evidence that dragonskin have anti-fire properties. At best, Eruptadon saliva does that. While Buffalord saliva is the only known cure for Odin's Scourge. However, it's also true that there hasn't been any evidence AGAINST the dragonskins used by the Dragon Hunters and Flyers having anti-fire properties. Considering their occupations, it's logical to assume that the dragonskins they wear provide some if not complete protection against fire.
Interestingly, though, in the last two films, HTTYD 2 and HTTYD 3, there are clear signs of dragon scales and dragonskins being used as direct fire protection agents.
Also, the dragonskin gear that Dragon Hunters and Flyers wear must have anti-dragon protection since they keep returning in following episodes like Stormtroopers. Though that could just be your typical DreamWorks Dragons cloning technique. 😂
That being said, though, it kinda defeats the purpose of fire protection if most of your skin and flammable clothes are exposed to flame. 😂
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, unlike in the books, in the TV series (and in the films), dragonskins also have another purpose: a statement of status and fashion.
Aside from the fact that they look aesthetically pleasing to wear, it's also a show of one's prowess and status as a man and as a warrior. As Hiccup had even said in the first film:
"Killing dragons is everything around here. A Nadder head is sure to get me at least noticed. Gronckles are tough. Taking down one of those would definitely get me a girlfriend. A Zippleback? Exotic. Two heads, twice the status. Then, there's the Monstrous Nightmare. Only the best Vikings go after those."
As such, in Archipelagoan society, there is a hierarchy or meritocracy that is based on what dragons you kill, and how many of them. And it's also based on how difficult these dragons are to kill. Speaking of which, Mildew was mentioned to have been an excellent dragon slayer in his younger days.
In fact, the "Deadly Dozen" who pursue and hunt the Gang in S5's "Dawn of Destruction" and the two-part "Wings of War" episodes are all wearing dragonskins from these dragons, signifying their status and prowess as elites.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hiccup goes on to saying this:
"No one has ever killed a Night Fury. That's why I'm going to be the first."
Night Furies were considered by many to be the ultimate prey — the coveted prize to fame, glory, and fortune. While no one on Berk had ever seen a Night Fury let alone slain one, Hiccup was desperate to kill one in order to be accepted as a Viking like the rest of his community. (Only for him to wimp out in the end and become friends with one. lol 😂😉) Had he gone through with it, he would've had a luxurious dragonskin that would've boosted his status among the many famous Viking heroes in Archipelago and Berkian history.
Interestingly, in HTTYD 3, Grimmel, the villain, and a contrasting portrayal of what Hiccup could've become, says this:
"When I was a boy and I came up on a Night Fury, I killed it where it slept. That simple act of courage made me a hero in my village."
Strangely though, he doesn't wear anything to show his prowess or achievements. For somebody who boasts about having practically slain every Night Fury in existence (a declaration that I doubt in itself since it's technically impossible in this era), he doesn't wear anything to represent that, like a Night Fury dragonskin cloak, or outfit, or Night Fury claws or teeth. Nothing. Just... boring old leather. 🙄
However, it's different with Drago from HTTYD 2. As you can see from the picture below, he's wearing a cloak of dragonskin which he uses as both a status statement and also as something to shield him from dragonfire.
Tumblr media
Of course, as much as I'd like to declare that to be Night Fury skin, there's no proof of it being so, and could easily be some other type of dragon. But if it is, it could be the skin of an older Night Fury. It looked darker in the film, but whatever.
So in conclusion, dragonskins are used for their anti-fire properties (to protect them from dragonfire and from fire in general), as a fashion statement, and most importantly as a status symbol that showcases their prowess and accomplishments as warriors. Dragonskins make good tent material, apparently, as evidenced by the Dragon Hunters.
I hope this was somewhat enlightening. It certainly was for me. Thank you for reading, and see you in the next article!
Long Live the Night!

Idk if this is a hot take, but I quite liked Drago Bludvist at first. Yes the way they showed how he controls dragons was goofy - but the build-up, his connections to Eret, Valka etc. and parallels to Stoick I thoroughly enjoyed.
The moment he started interacting with Hiccup was when he became nothing burger of a character, besides the "Or tear them apart" line.

I'm still upset about a particular scene in Httyd;thw. Remember when the whole gang, including Valka, Cloudjumper, Eret and Skullcrusher had gone on that 'mission' to capture Grimmel but they eventually leave without achieving anything, even letting Ruffnut behind. At the next scene (lemme show it really quick),
Tumblr media
We see all the dragons,but... You guessed it, Skullcrusher is nowhere to be found. And you may tell me he was somewhere in the background, you're wrong. I re watched the movie multiple times, and neither Eret or Skullcrusher where shown in this scene. The only theory I have in mind is that since Eret and Skullcrusher were the lead of searching teams (yes I know, the movies never mentioned that, it's based on a headcanon I found) they probably had went on another searching run. But,I think it would be nice if the others were like, "I'm sure we'll know what's going on for sure when Eret comes back from the search run", or smth like that. What are your thoughts about this?

Tumblr media
Yes I took it from @ziggityzigg 's tiktok video
Also @cujokroggo since you seem to hate Grimmel like me here you have a less hateable version of the man that shall not be mentioned

The Emperor-Verse: RWBY: Saints of Remnant, a reimagined AU(More details in Keep Reading!)
Tumblr media
Once there was a world by the name of Omnibus. Created by the supreme deity The Author Allfather through the mysterious entity The Storyteller, this world was composed of four holy and mighty kingdoms, ruled by The Author’s Patron Saints whose reign protected the people, human and faunus alike, with their mighty armies, hunters, and their own holy powers from barbarian hordes, and the hordes of The Grimm who were the incarnations of hatred of the fallen seraph Grimmel The Black and his fellow fallen angels
In the dreadful world-shattering war of Ragnarök, the glorious age of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, and the days of Romance, Heroism Adventure, and Eucatastrophe came to a tragic end.
Now all that remains is the world that is Remnant
But there is a prophecy made by Ozma The First Time Wizard before his death at the hands of The Witch-Emperor, that one day the bloodlines of the original Patron Saints and the families betrothed to them will return to take up these powers, rally armies of the righteous, vanquish the darkness and restore the holy kingdoms and Omnibus and reign over them once more.
Sinners will become Saints
Legends shall be restored and new Legends will be born
And what was a Remnant, Shall Be Whole Again.
But until then, the Hunters lead a struggling battle against the Grimm while the modern kingdoms suffer under corruption of all kinds, both to the benefit of darker forces who have horrifying intentions for the world.
Cue Ruby Rose and her older half-sister Yang Xiao Long, they are about to enter Beacon Academy after being approved by the eccentric Professor Ozpin Pine along with the heiress Weiss Schnee and the introverted faunus Blake Belladonna forming team RWBY
Ozpin has also enrolled a few other students and transferred others.
The former forming team JNPR, and the latter being Team SSSN of Haven Academy
Ozpin seems to have his eye on all of them, but what for?
Heavily inspired by CS Lewis's series The Chronicles of Narnia
Main Ships Contained:
RoseGarden
BlackSun
Iceberg/Arctic Water
Arkos
Renora
and some other ships
Also will contain unorthodox reimagining such as Adam Taurus(He's an initial antagonist turned good) and the White Fang and Jacques Schnee and the SDC with their Canon!Counterparts replaced with substitutes among other things
Currently the concept is in the works in a series of notes.
Details of the Emperor-Verse
Now I'm sure there's some questions you probably are all asking which I assume are the same questions as my blog
“Why are you using your Religion?”
Mostly due to it being a strong foundation, notably theology, for most of my stories, there are many strong foundations of storytelling, religion, history, you can even fantasize science if you put the imagination, time, and effort into it.
After doing some soul searching and listening to the Narnia books on Audible, it became another important element in making this au and I might include elements of CS Lewis’ Space Trilogy
This AU is set in my fictional Multiverse The Emperor-Verse which Narnia is implied to exist in, or I should say had existed in(its set after The Last Battle)
“Isn’t this kind of entitled and disrespectful?”
Disagreement isn’t necessarily malicious, and entitlement is not inherently bad if its your opinions and subjective feelings which people are entitled to.
Tolkien was heavily inspired by his distaste for how Shakespeare handled certain concepts, such as the Ents when he was upset and dissatisfied that there were no walking talking trees in the Enchanted Fortest of Macbeth, and the Valar Aule the Smith and the origin of the Dwarves make him something of an Anti-Prometheus
Not to mention Philip Pullman, the author of His Dark Materials Trilogy, made it out his distaste how CS Lewis made the Chronicles of Narnia and his overall beef with Christianity, and nobody seems to take issue with that.
I’m not saying the direction RWBY went with V3 or Pyrrha and the rest of the cast potentially ending tragically in some way or another is objectively bad, it was just not my taste
And I am not saying every normal RWBY fan/RWDE person who liked it is an elitist about it nor are all of them trying to insult me and attack me personally or say my ideas are bad
Nor I’m not trying to change canon or its “trajectory” , nor am I doing this to spite Monty, especially when I never knew the guy. This is a difference in handling ideas and concepts.
I’m doing my RWBY AU, which will most likely be revamped into an original story since it takes a whole different directions with the characters and world, but it's mostly because with post V3 and now in retrospect I saw what this world, characters, ships and other ideas could have been all in a story I believe is worth telling. And I was disappointed that it wasn’t.
I mean yeah it's also due to personal tastes and preferences and subjective feelings, at least I’ve been told, but I also try to integrate that in a meaningful way.
So I hope you all enjoy what I have to offer, which will most likely be put on AO3 and FanFiction.Net, and who knows, I might get a few artists to commission to redesign some characters or illustrate some scenes if anyone is up for it.
