Apart from Hiro, Victor, Ashima, Nia, Kwaku, and a few others, what other international engine calls Sodor their home (or second home in the case of Hiro)?

Well, Hiro ends up staying at Sodor after staying at the Vicarstown Museum and now works at the Tidmouth Pier railway with Gator, nicknamed the “Spirited Away” line since the rails are above water but it gives off the impression that they’re racing in the ocean 🌊 (think Lake Burlinskoye).

I’ve mentioned before that Etienne is part of the Peel Godred Branchline alongside Kana. He was 9004’s sibling and he was on static display at the Cité du Train but since Sodor (and by extension the Mainland) offered to help fix him and others for preparation and ends up meeting the rest of the electric engines, he felt right at home and loved to stay and since the museum agreed cause they couldn’t properly accommodate him.

There’s Gina she was actually part of the early days of Sodor as part of the S&M, she’s very protective and looks out for her other colleagues but she ain’t gotta mess around, she bonds with Emily and Lily over this. She stayed especially when Italy 🇮🇹 in ww2… she’s now works at Edward’s branchline and part time at the earl’s museum (also Beau is there)

there’s also Tracy the tram engine working for the Vicarstown tramway along with Flora and her oc sisters.

also some ocs like Koko, Akira, Kana and Kenji’s sisters, Lucia (which was actually Gina’s old concept art and name is a FS electric locomotive), cfr mountains engines Chinh Sơn and Tuyết Hien, miniature engines Kessie and Polo from Kenya 🇰🇪 Tracy’s sisters Macy Lacy and Stacy.

so like, i have this hc that most of aisling's verses that are set outside of manhattan aren't separate verses, but rather like, chapters in her life. so she moves from manhattan with the kids and the dads and the squad and they go to forks, then realize that there's sparkly dudes in the forest and decide to go back to manhattan, then she sees a house for sale in mystic falls, everyone moves there again and this time there's no sparkly dudes but the sheriff keeps asking them to put vervain in the soda fountains and half the customers get really weird whenever someone has a little accident with a kitchen knife, so they move back to manhattan, and like. i'm js i might write drabbles or diary entries based on their experiences as they move from fictional place to manhattan and repeat the cycle over and over.

Ezili: her connection to the spirits and magic made her realize she's def not a cis girl, she doesn't talk abt it much but will explain if asked

Psi: it's canon waht do u want me to say, but I think they project their dysphoria onto people they don't like sometimes.

Trans, but-

Quincy: he has transitioned but he hasn't told anyone except Gwen, he just doesn't think it's super important to say.

Rosalia: she's still figuring herself out, but she's p sure she's nonbinary

Adora: as my headcanon goes, adora is quite literally part sungod, the space gods were genderless and so her connection with gender is very warped. She identifies w fem terms and doesn't mind being called a girl though.

Corvus: according to him, the concept of gender being literally dead feels better to him

Benjamin: he's going thru smtn

Obyn: he is part plant and was raised by wolves, his perception of gender is mostly gone and he thinks masc agender works fine.

Brickell: since I hc she and Churchill were childhood friends [and essentially found family] his gender questioning stage made her wonder if she was too, she realized p quickly she wasn't but it helped her w figuring things out anyway. [Realized she was bi]

Gwen: identified as nby for YEARS until realizing she was just a tomboy and felt like she couldn't be a masc girl [again, also realized she was bi]

Sauda: too much energy, so little time but figured out she was cis very wuickly

The @icerosesummerbracket has dragged me back into ARoIiS, so I spent all day drawing art of my absolute favorite, Currant!

I was inspired by some of the hc designs I've seen in the fandom lately for both him and Etienne, but I really wanted to lean into the ARoIiS themes of light vs. dark with his outfit. Though I fear I might have leaned into them TOO much lmao. But I do enjoy the space/star aesthetic, so it's fine with me, just consider it an artistic liberty. I definitely did not know how to depict his magic tho lol.

Also! I wanted to give him lots of blue so he and Etienne could be a red-blue sibling duo :D

I do headcanon Currant as trans :) I mean, have you ever noticed how ARoIiS uses similar words to describe him and Etienne, but in a different light? (pun intended) You CANNOT tell me they aren't identical twins. And you know what that means! One of them has to be trans. I'm convinced Etienne did his top surgery somehow, and you cannot change my mind idc idc.

Honestly at this point I would take a spin-off that's just about Currant and Etienne, exploring their origins, their rocky relationship, and how they ended up taking different paths in life. That would be cool to see.

Also, how about both a Currantsweep and an Etiennesweep, so they can both face off each other in the finals, for further family drama? I know it's not gonna happen but I can dream ❤️

Do you have any headcannons for the Shadow Pianist?

Omg! Matter a fact I do lmao, one of my favorites after all hehe, lot of it is brainrot but stillll

I hc his name to be "Charlie Baroketch", I don't really know why, his last name- I took that from the Ghost Gallery iteration of him but idk where 'Charlie' came from, I just liked it

I (dis)like to beleive he was murdered by Constance because he found her like- Right after she killed one of her husbands and because he was a witness he had to go too, she just fucked up and hit his face tho because he panicked, so as a haunt he has just a wound all the way across his face that goes over one of his eyes

Speaking of that- I also think he can materialize into a visible haunt like the rest, he just doesn't do it that often because he feels comfortable as a shadow(And safe)

That Non-Binary flag in my most recent drawings of him is like, half a joke, referring to the fact he is basically just a shadow he can be perceived however he likes(And also the fact the Shadow Pianist is female in one continuity)

Him and Emily(The Beating Heart bride) get along fairly well, he was scared of her at first because he mistook her for Constance(brides and all that) but now she's kinda like a sister to him

IDK if this counts as a hc but I randomly started shipping him with Etienne Lalaurie(One of the duelists, specifically the one in black & red to how I deemed to name them) thanks to my girlfriend and like- Yeah sure that's a thing now lol

I have very vivid imagery of this man having a panic attack almost because when he first arrived in the mansion he remembered he was a pianist but he could NOT remember how to play the piano, like he was actually crying

I have more somewhere but like- This is everything that I remember rn and like- Yeah most of these kinda just pop up in the moment and all but I hope these suffice hhehes

hey what's up everyone @icerosesummerbracket has gotten me obsessed again with a series i hadn't thought about for almost a DECADE, so, as the first post of this AROIIS sideblog, I used this picrew to make some of my FAVES... in order, Rose, Kivan, Chance, Etienne, and Currant!! sorry abt the picrew not having an eyepatch or anything similar for Rose. i hc Etienne and Currant as sharing pronouns in turns just like how they would share clothes if they had a more similar fashion sense, btw, if u even care. also i know Chance has purple hair for most of the series but i love ALL their hair colors equally and i chose the peachy pink one.

Sabine-Fa Zhou: Marinette’s mother, a renowned warrior who was wounded in battle, walking with a cane. She is wise and compassionate, always trying to help her daughter.

Tom-Fa Li: Marinette’s father, who loves his daughter as much as his wife, though he worries for her quite a bit more.

Gina-Grandmother Fa: Marinette’s grandmother, who lives with the family. She is never afraid to speak her mind, no matter what anyone thinks. She gifted Tikki to Marinette.

Adrien:

Gabriel- Mother Gothel: Adrien’s “father”, who kept him confined in the tower all his life. He stole Adrien as an infant and used the magic of his hair to stay young. He emotionally abused the boy and made him believe “Father Knows Best” No matter what.

Nathalie & Emilie-Rulers of Corona: Adrien’s true mothers. Emilie fell gravely ill and Nathalie sought out the magical golden flower to heal her. Because of this, Adrien was born with his magical hair. Every year, they release lanterns into the sky on their son’s birthday, hoping it will help him find his way home.

Alya:

Marlena-Eudora: Alya’s mother, a hardworking cook. She supports Alya’s dreams and aspirations, but wants nothing more than for her daughters to be happy.

Otis-James(✝): Alya’s late father, a devoted caretaker of animals. He encouraged Alya to follow her passions and work hard for her goals.

Nora: Alya’s older sister, who works long hours at a shipyard to help support the family. She’s protective, maybe a little too much at times.

Ella/Etta: Alya’s twin younger sisters, much less mischievous in this universe. They help around the house, but still cause some trouble.

Nathaniel:

Aya(🎨)-Queen Leah: Nathaniel’s mother, the queen of the Kurtz kingdom. When her son was cursed, she had every spinning wheel in the kingdom burned. Unlike Queen Leah, she keeps her son with her, the castle under heavy guard with protection spells from the good fairies.

Marc:

Kiran(🎨)-Anna: Marc’s younger brother, who he accidentally wounded with his ice powers. He misses his older brother terribly and doesn’t understand why they aren’t as close as they used to be.

Penny & Alyssa(🎨)(✝)-Rulers of Arendelle: Marc and Kiran’s mothers. They never blamed Marc for the accident, but sadly they were killed in a shipwreck mere months later. Their deaths were mourned by their sons and the entire kingdom.

Max:

Claudie-Aunt Cass: Max’s mother, who drives the town bus but dreams of being an astronaut. She does her best to look after her son, encouraging him in his pursuits.

Terrance(AU Original)(✝️)-Tadashi: Max’s older cousin, who he saw as a brother. He was a brilliant programmer, and he died in a fire at Max’s old school. Designed Markov.

Kim:

(These are my HC names for them)

Mr. Le(Lanh)-Amphitryon & Mr. Ature(Etienne)-Alcmene: Farmers in the countryside, they found the infant Kim after he had just been turned mortal and raised him as their own. They eventually decided to send him to Francois, after he discovered his true heritage and the people of the town grew especially hostile towards him.

Bob Roth- Hades: Kim’s uncle, the lord of the Underworld. He wants to take over Olympus and was the one responsible for turning his nephew into a mortal. He’ll do whatever it takes to win, even targeting those Kim cares for the most.

Zeus & Hera (Disney Characters)- Kim’s biological parents (Imagine them looking more like him), the king and queen of Olympus. His father encourages him to aspire to be true hero, in order to regain his godhood. They are unaware of Bob’s plot to overthrow them.

Alix:

Alim(✝)-Cassim: Alix’s father, the ‘king of thieves’. Unlike Cassim, he cared deeply for his children and always kept them safe. He was killed when one of his men betrayed him. Alix was only four at the time.

Jalil(✝): Alix’s older brother who was killed alongside her father. She named her pet monkey after him.

Mylene:

Fred(✝): Mylene’s beloved and kind father, the king of Haprele kingdom. He adored his daughter with all his heart, just as the people of the kingdom did them both. He was poisoned by his second wife.

Sarah(Producer Lady)- Evil Queen: King Fred’s second wife, intensely jealous of Mylene for her kindness, beauty and how she’s loved by the kingdom. After poisoning Fred, she drove Mylene out of the kingdom. She plans to kill the girl before graduation.

Sabrina:

Roger- Gepetto: Sabrina’s father, a woodcarver, who raised her as his daughter when she was brought to life. He teaches her to be honest and trustworthy, but can sometimes be forgetful. He sued the puppet show she was part of for child abuse, but the case was lost due to Sabrina technically not being a human child.

Rose:

Ali-Maurice: Rose’s older brother, a quirky inventor and a caretaker of the village children. Some people think he’s crazy, but Rose loves him dearly.

Juleka:

(Anarka and Jagged are divorced but still governed the land together. Penny is Juleka and Luka’s stepmother.)

Anarka-Mrs. Potts: Juleka’s mother, the lady of the castle. She was turned into a teapot, but is just as fiery as she was as a human. She cares for her daughter greatly, comforting and advising her.

Jagged-Lumiere: The lord of the castle and Juleka’s father. Turned into a candelabra, his favorite thing to do is still entertaining guests. He tries his best to keep his daughter’s spirits up.

Penny-Cogsworth: Jagged’s wife, turned into a antique clock. She keeps the palace in order, and does her best to maintain some semblance of normalcy for her stepchildren.

Luka: Juleka’s brother, transformed by the curse into a grand piano. He can no longer speak, but comforts and sometimes teases his sister with his music.

Ondine:

(I HC Ondine as being Scotch-Hispanic)

Arturo(Dad)- King Triton: Very strict and stern, he forbids his daughters from going to the surface, even going so far as to destroy his youngest daughter’s collection of objects from the land, driving her to go to the sea witch.

Olivia- The eldest of the seven, acts motherly towards all her sisters. Can also be a bit bossy.

Ophelia- The second eldest, and most studious. Quiet and withdrawn, she prefers to stay in her room and read.

Octavia- The third oldest and the “gifted” child. Can play six different instruments.

Olga- Ondine’s favorite sister, kind and helpful. Always willing to listen and give advice.

Oona- The third youngest, an absolute hopeless romantic. She’s often lost in dreamland.

Olympia- The second youngest, she can be a bit hostile and teases Ondine very often. Very competitive.

Kagami:

Tomoe-Fergus/Eleanor: Kagami’s mother, the warrior queen of the Tsurugi kingdom. She was blinded in a battle with the demon bear, Yamikuma. She is incredibly strict and controlling with her daughter.

Daisuke, Daijiro, Daiki (AU ORIGINALS)-Hamish, Hubert and Harris: Kagami’s three younger brothers, the princes of the kingdom. They are extremely mischievous, driving their mother and the castle staff crazy.

Zoe:

Chloé-Anastasia: Zoe’s half-sister, who she’s forced to essentially serve as a maid. However, Chloe may not be completely cruel at heart. A blowout with her sister and a chance exchange with her mother get her to realize she may need to change her ways.

Audrey-Lady Tremaine: Chloé and Zoe’s cruel mother, a selfish aristocrat who hates it when things don’t go her way. She had Zoe with another man, and had her treated as a servant all her life. Chloe completely emulates her.

Andre: Zoe’s stepfather, who is kinder to her than her sister and mother, though he’s hesitant to stand up for her. He cows down to whatever his wife and daughter want.

Mireille:

Ari(🎨)-Mufasa(✝): Mireille’s mother, and the queen of the Pride Lands. She was wise and strong, and Mireille adored and idolized her. Five years ago, she was tricked by her brother which ended in her dying in a wildebeest stampede. Mireille worries about disappointing her.

Scar(Disney Character): Mireille’s wicked uncle, who was responsible for her mother’s death. He currently rules the Pride Lands, leaving them in a state of despair and desolation. He believes his niece to be dead.

Reshma:

Dayalan & Aabha(🎨)- Julieta & Augustin: Reshma’s caring parents. Her mother has the ability to heal with her cooking, while her father has no gift due to marrying into the family. They love all three of their daughters and support them no matter what.

Lasya (AU ORIGINAL)- Luisa: Reshma’s younger sister, blessed with incredible strength. She is quiet and gentle, much shyer than Luisa. She takes on a massive amount of work and Reshma worries a lot about her.

Mithra (AU ORIGINAL)- Mirabel: Reshma’s youngest sister, the only one in the family not to receive a gift. Spirited and energetic, she tends to snap at people who criticize her for that. She and Reshma, unlike Isa and Mira, have always had a good, loving relationship.

Amrita(🎨)- Abuela: The matriarch of the family, she lost her husband to a band of raiders years before, causing her to become cold and harsh. She demands perfection and service from the family, unaware she is alienating them with her actions.

Austin T:

Karan & Saanvi Tomassian(🎨)- Sultan & Sultana of Agrabah: Austin’s parents and the rulers of Agrabah. After their son was kidnapped at two years old, they kept him on the palace grounds out of his fear for his safety. And maybe some…outside influence…

**Fun addition: In my Miraculous Canon HC’s, Ondine has twin eight-year old brothers, Rico and Duncan. You thought the Cesaire twins were bad…well, I’m guessing Ella and Etta have never purposely gotten *Nino* electrocuted. (Ondine is oblivious to their true nature. They love their sister, thankfully.) Her mom’s name is Elsie.)

i just found this and i love it. i was just wondering if canon (or ur hc) says where nicolas got what i am assuming is a scar on his forehead?

Nicolas gave himself that scar! Following a beating from his uncle and a cruel lecture about how he'd never be able to become a knight, Nicolas cut that wound into his own forehead to try to prove himself as enough of an "adult" to not be talked down to.

Terrible idea on Nicolas's part, really. >.> Etienne patched him up afterward (as he always does), but that's our stupid, impulsive little knight for you! He just wants to be taken seriously.

Magnus Chase HC

Magnus loses Alex in the Valhalla Gift Shop (Because you know it’s the size of a supermarket.).

He asks a store assistant for help in finding him- “I’ve lost my boyfriend.”

When they eventually find Alex in the candle section, Magnus says “There’s my girlfriend, thank you, sir.” Leaving the poor assistant very confused, but let’s be honest, it’s not the weirdest thing he’s seen whilst working there.

Places to find my DAI Companions: Haven Edition

Aurora Amell - Near one of the buildings near the Apothecary. I imagine the one Dorian hangs around might be a makeshift infirmary, so she’d be located inside that one, tending to the wounded.

Seigfried Trevelyan - Down by the training area, I’m going to say there’s an archery range in that area as well and he’s helping with training their archers to be better shots.

Xoras Pharae - Outside of the Haven gates, you go right and you’ll find him training the snow, making an effort to avoid the shemlen.

Hildegard Cadash - The opposite corner of Sera in the tavern. She’s set up a desk there typically with letters and papers for her underground contacts. And typically has a mug of strongest drink on supply.

Inatar & Shamut Adaar - Typically together in Haven. As you go up the stairs where Varric is, you go left and they’ll be hanging out by the building there.

Sergio di Vasco - In the Chantry on the pews which are on the opposite side of where Vivienne usually is.

Etienne de Rousseau - In his advisor verse, he’s located just outside the Chantry to the left corner, looking towards the Breach.

Duelist hcs 👀 mayhapsss

Ride version if them they're not related, I can't see them as brothers jdhdjdhd and they aren't to ME unless stated in the media I'm looking at(Like the 2023 film) but in general I default to friends who went bitter

I use the names Etienne Lalaurie(Duelist on the left) and Antione Germaine(Duelist on the right) because those were the first names I ever saw used for them and they stuck

I imagined both duelists trying to cheat during the duel, so they both shot at the count of 7 instead of 10 but they both still died, lmao

Etienne got shot in the heart, and Antione got shot in the side, Etienne died first, so ig Antione technically won, but eh

Not much a hc, but me shipping the Shadow Pianist with the duelists was supposed to be a one off joke but uh- Well it ended up like all the other things I ship as a joke hdbdj

Aaand Victor hates both of them
