3.12 When the Party's Over

Not long after he finished his applications, Johnny was surprised to find he was invited to interview at Rainy Day Entertainment.

He had a successful interview with their hiring manager, and from there, was scheduled to meet with the company's CEO, Damien Major, for his final interview.

Johnny was a little intimated at first but quickly turned on the charm. Damien was surprisingly grounded for someone running such a successful company.

It turned out his early childhood was similar to Johnny's--raised by a single mother who struggled to make ends meet. They chatted about their favorite video games and SimTube channels. It seemed more like a conversation between two old friends than an interview. Johnny was inspired seeing how Damien achieved so much despite having a rough start to life.

Damien offered Johnny a position on the spot, which he happily accepted. Being a Production Assistant wasn’t exactly his dream job, but it was a big company with a lot of room for growth.

At the very least, it made his dads happy. Johnny hoped they would stay that way.

here is a small snippet for the prompt valentines day:

Tommy groaned as his eyes fluttered open, his bones ached from the long grueling shift from yesterday. His hand dragged across the mattress to find the other side empty, the sheets still warm. It must be late in the day, Evan was not one to get up before Tommy. The sweet smell of pancakes lingered in the air. A giddy warmth swelled in Tommy’s chest. Of course, Evan was making pancakes, Tommy’s favorite for breakfast.  It took Tommy a while to let Evan take care of him, to do these small gestures. He was always the one taking care of others, he still wasn’t sure if he even deserved to be taken care of. Tommy was working on it, being kinder to himself, but it was a struggle. He was forever grateful for Evan being by his side, showing him he was deserving of love, that he was worth it.  Tommy’s ears perked up with the creek by the doorway of the bedroom, his head popped up from his pillow, his hair unruly, still a bit groggy. Evan’s bright smile grew as his head popped through the doorway. “Good morning sleepy head,” Evan beamed. “Mornin’,” Tommy mumbled happily. “I-I’ll be right back,” Evan giggled, “Let me grab your breakfast ok?” Tommy sleepily nodded. He nestled his head back on the pillow, listening to Evan’s footsteps growing further and further away. As much as Tommy was a romantic at heart, all he wanted to do for this Valentine's Day, was to stay home and to be with his Evan. Listening to Evan’s footsteps coming closer and closer, Tommy shifted his body upright, a yawn escaping his lips. Tommy rubbed the sleep out of his eyes as Buck walked in with a tray of pancakes and tea. It was only now Tommy realized Evan was wearing nothing but his apron.  “Evan,” Tommy giggled, “What exactly are you wearing?” A blush spread across Evan’s cheeks, ducking his head with a bashful smile.

GENSHIN IMPACT 5.6 IMPLICATIONS

So!! Theres new Mondstat lore coming to Genshin and I am so stinking excited!!

First Off, Lets talk about Venti. Venti is most likely IN MARE JIVARI. Judging by that it is a darker place and that there are flames around it. We have seen the Mare Jivari twice before. Once during Venti’s story quest, and second during the new event with Ifa, but that could just be the Night Kingdom. We know that both Venti and Bennett have connections to the Mare Jivari. Plus with the Mare Jivari we will most likely getting our secondary region of Natlan, which are areas like Dragonspine, Chenyu Vale, Enkonomiya, and The Sea of Bygone era. The Mare Jivari will probably be that.

Secondly Albedo. Thats not Our Albedo. Being a storyteller myself I think thats our Homunculi. Thats our doppleganger. During Snow Admist Snowstorms he runs off after Albedo stabs him. He is most likely working with someone to awaken Durin. And that someone will be Mom, aka Reindottier. But I dont think that she will be introduced this update, but next. Due to the next update most likely being an interlude quest when Dain lore drops and leaves. I think she will be introduced next update because she is one of the five sinners of Kahnreiah. 

BUT! I do think that Alice and Barbeloth will be introduced because we do need a set up for the Hexenzirkle to be introduced in Nod Krai. Alice due to being from Mondstat and Klee’s mother but also having connections to Dorman Port and Varka who we will also most likely be introducted to. But I will talk about that later. But We will MOST LIKELY see Barbeloth because she is connected to Fischl and Mona, being Mona’s master and the one who wrote the Boar Princess which Fischl takes her story from most likely.  But Barbeloth is also the one who created Mini Durin. And during the Summer event this year she did say that Durin will reawaken. Things will happen. That Mini durin will follow the same story Durin followed.

Durin will we awaken with the help of Reindottier from the shadows but more our Homonculi. He will be the one to reawaken the heart. And Our crew from the 1.1 event, Scara, Mona, Fischl and the Traveler will have the Knights of Favonius help us.

Next Kaeya. Kaeya bearing the name Alberich, we will most likely be getting more lore on the Abyss and even our sibling. But I do think that we will be seeing more of the sinners. we will be learning more about Kaeya’s past and most likely about his father.

There is not much to say, but he does have his back turned so maybe… he is fulfilling his role. He will betray us and he will betray his brother. He will betray the knights of Favonius.

Lastly Jean. She being the new Dandelion Knight is taking after Vanessa, WE WILL BE GETTING VANESSA LORE. Vanessa is so incredibly important to both Mondstat and Natalan lore. Jean has a lot on her shoulders taking on the role of Grand Master for Varka and Dandelion Knight for Vanessa. I dont know the role Jean will play, but I do think she will be leading us to Lore about Alice as she was once close with her, Varka and Dorman Port, and lore about Vanessa, and finally Celestia as Vanessa was one of the Ascenders.

Theres so much coming holy shit. My thoughts are so over the place but Oh My Gods oh my gods I am so excited. VANESSA LORE AFTER SO MANY YEARS!!! HEXENZIRKLE INTRODUCTIONS!!!

Also 5.7 We HAVE to be meeting Reindottier as she is one of the sinners, but also she will be most likely the one to reawaken Durin as it is her son. I wonder if Alice and Barbeloth will try and stop her.

To be honest I dont think Dorman Port will be this update and it will be Mare Jivari, but we did get Chenyu Vale during Fontaine so We could be getting Both!

Ahh so Big Finish have announced a Thirteenth Doctor boxset!! If you don't know what Big Finish is, they're an audio drama production company who make a TON of extended canon Doctor Who audios that are officially licenced by the BBC. A lot of the Eighth Doctor content is Big Finish audio dramas (as well as the Eighth Doctor Adventures, which are the books - those are a parallel extended canon to the BF audios though, and technically you could consider neither of them canon, since they're not actually In The Show. Because we love Doctor Who canon being endlessly confused hahah). However, they have to wait a certain amount of time after an 'era' of the show in order to get the rights to make content with particular characters. This is why, when Thirteen's era was airing, they were pumping out so many Tenth doctor audios...like SO many. But also NINTH DOCTOR audios, with Eccleston!! Because he decided to work with them to create some more Nine stories, which was FANTASTIC!

But ANYWAY - before today, it had already been announced that we were getting 1) a Fugitive Doctor boxset - so, essentially, a bunch of new audio stories ft the Fugitive Doctor, and also 2) a Dhawan!Master boxset, with stories focused on him! So we were all already excited about those, but also wondering if Jodie was going to end up doing any, especially seeing as she seemed so keen to do things like that. And so what happened TODAY is that Big Finish just announced this new Thirteen boxset, which will have TWELVE new stories, not just with Thirteen, but also with Yaz!! Which is REALLY AWESOME! And all three of these boxsets are due to release in 2025, but you can already pre-order them if you're interested! They are a little pricey, but I can tell you....Big Finish are fantastic, they put out some really top quality stuff, which some incredible stories that they just can't do on the show. I cannot express how excited I am for this. I also had about five different people message me today about this announcement, which was very amusing to me hahaha

But yeah so tl;dr - 12 new thirteen stories, PLUS we already knew that we were getting the dhawan master and jo martin audio sets too, and they're all releasing some time next year!
