Plushie - João Félix

Joao and You approached the carnival game that had the plushie you wanted as the prize. You had been admiring it from a distance allday, but you didn't have the courage to play the game.

Joao noticed how much you wanted it and suggested that you play the game. You shyly agreed, feeling a bit embarrassed for wanting a plushie as an adult.

Joao knew how badly you wanted it. He stepped up to the counter, a determined glint in his eye.

"Give me three tries," he said confidently to the game operator.

As the first ball flew from his hand, You watched in anticipation. It hit the target but bounced off without knocking down any objects.

He tried again, and again, but each time the balls just wouldn't go where he wanted them to go.

You started to feel a little disappointed, but Joao didn't seem to be bothered. He simply shrugged and asked for more tries. He was completely focused on the game now, determined to win that plushie for you.

As the crowd gathered around the game, everyone began cheering Joao on. With each throw, he grew more and more confident, and soon the balls were hitting their targets, and the objects they hit were falling to the ground.

On the sixth throw, Joao hit the final target with a perfect shot. The game operator handed him the plushie, and Joao handed it to you with a big smile.

You hugged the plushie tightly and turned to Joao with admiration in your eyes. "You did that for me?"

"Of course," he said, "Anything for you."

The rest of the day at the amusement park was filled with laughter and fun, but you couldn't stop thinking about how special Joao made you feel by winning that plushie.

So this pretty much confirms it:

Afo had his eyes on both bakugou and izuku since their childhood! Only that he thinks highly of izuku and looks down on bakugou.

He knows things of bakugou, he shouldnt be able to know! He knows that bakugou grew up watching all mights victories and that it was his wish to archieve these things someday too. This is a PERSONAL information about bakugous childhood dreams afo CANT know about.... except if he had an informant. An very young, innocent little informant, talking with excitement about that boy with the cool powerful quirk, talking all day how one day he will surpass all might!

Thats a personal fear of bakugou afo ALSO shouldnt be aware of... except if he watched both boys from afar without them noticing. He saw that bakugou was the one stalking izuku. Not leaving him alone. Abusing him out of his fear of him. Driving to be better then him, without understanding what made izuku better then bakugou!

And it also shows afos clear distaste in bakugou as a person. Not only does he beat him up BADLY, he also openly mocks, insults, humiliates and shames him infront of a lot of other pro heroes, including his "mentor", homeroom teacher and monoma, someone bakugou REALLY doesnt like! And on the other side afo has a HIGH opinion of izuku! Tells bakugou to his face that he will never be as great as izuku! That he will always be nothing more then izukus shadow! That there is nothing noteworthy about him, except his relationship with izuku!

Afo is literally FANBOYING over izuku! If thats not what a proud dad sounds like, I dont know! And it makes perfect sense! As izukus father he would watch over him from afar, playing the normal allday father and husband. He would see how badly bakugou treats izuku, but cant effort to do something, because afo needs to lay his profile low. Doing something to bakugou, could endanger his own family.

So WHO needs to sacrefice his head instead and was turned into a nomou? Little tsubasa, one of bakugous minions and one of the kids who also bullied izuku. And WHO was little tsubasa related too? Right, dr garaki, the most loyal follower of afo! A man who has no problem to use children as his lab rats and sees afo as his god!

this is part 1 cause i got super lengthy with rocky, ill reblog with smokey soon, theres less about him

so rockys an 1800s bandit cowboy thing. his father was a famous outlaw (rattlesnake) who taught rocky everything he knew about thieving, stealing, and murdering. rocky didnt go to normal people school with normal people kids. as a result hes awkward and doesnt super care about social cues. when he was younger, too young for his father to take him on heists, rocky would spend allday everyday playin out in the woods and foraging for berries n bugs n stuff. enter: marcie.

marcie was born to stuck up, aristocratic parents up in maine. they moved down to kentucky (where rocky is) when she was 8-ish. they keep her cooped up inside all day with schooling, lessons, whatever boring shit they can come up with so she’ll often escape and play in the woods for as long as it takes her parents to find her. one day out in the forest, she meets rocky while his fathers away and theyre instantly best friends (they r the only child the other has ever had prolonged contact with (both only children))

so as they grow up, rocky starts going on heists with his dad, starts getting better and banditing, and starts becoming a Horrible influence. marcie thinks hes the best thing ever. (platonic, theyre both gay) she likes hanging out with him so much cause she thinks hes just so much more interesting than anyone shes ever met and leagues more fun than any of the snooty kids her age that her parents try to get her to hang out with

rocky hangs out with marcie cause shes also a lot different than anyone hes ever met. shes all prim and proper and knows weird skills that he thinks are fun. i have spent far too long on the backstory ok

so theyre 18, and marcie parents want to ship her off to a boarding school to be a doctor or whatever. fuck that. she runs away to bandit with rocky. now rockys dad, alameda is dead by this point, he was killed in a shootout and rockys learned from his dads mistakes. some time passes and rocky n marcie become a fearsome outlaw duo, cottonmouth and screech owl. i dont have any specific scenes that happen here so we’ll gloss over it.

Hhhh atm I am just…sooo?? fed up with nowadays movies. It’s always lowkey there, but now this feeling is at a max.

They just don‘t feel right anymore. They don‘t give. They feel like cash grabs instead sometimes. Especially now in the franchise recycling era of hollywood. It’s hard to describe. And it’s already a topic in social media, so it’s a mass of people that are like NOPE. So I know that most of the stuff I am talking about was already mentioned somewhere, like the massive green screen use in marvel movies. I just want to rant for a bit.

Big thing that is talked about is lack of practical VFX (def more practical VFX again pleeeasee), but have you listened to the soundtrack of nowadays movies? Remember themes like from indiana jones, lord of the rings or the sixth sense? Because most of what is produced now is a homogenous thing. And most of isn’t even done through an orchestra anymore. It just sounds off.

For example thriller movies. In the 90s they used a lot of classic orchestra composition that added to the plot, gave a feeling to it and had a theme to it?? Can’t watch thrillers from nowadays, because what you hear is a lot of Hans zimmer-esque brutal bass with somewhat digital sounds. And it all sounds the same, somewhat procedural. And guess what: how is a soundtrack supposed to add to the plot when there is barely one. That’s the other thing: thrillers from now feel empty. It’s alot of splatter and adrenaline. But not real thinking, contemplating and conjecturing for the viewers behind it. Thrillers aren’t really thrillers anymore, but border on horror/splatter movies in a way.

But it’s not just thrillers, that was just one example. When was the last time you saw a wholesome movie production in the last years? Close to zero. It’s like a drought. I enjoy me some cheesy movies that I can just let „rain“ over me w/o putting any emotions into it. Just the wholesomeness of it all. But it’s not the only kind of genre that is going through a drought. It’s what friends of mine observed too. Most released movies go into the more adrenalin/action genre way.

Nowadays they only go just „one way“, not even trying to be anything more. Movies like The Mummy were successful because they were able to combine several genres. This whole movie had its own type of personality and that is why it’s so cherished to this day. Another example was 90s addams family movies or legally blonde. Nowadays movies feel like they don’t have any ideas anymore, so they only try to recreate what was successful before for the fast cash grab. Some movies still do have that personality thing and succeed, i.e. like EEAAO, but it’s rare.

And most movies don’t even try anymore because it feels like they let VFX do the talking. People are like uuuh and ahhh about it. But the fascination only holds for so long until there’s the point when all you remember about the movie is the prettiness, but close to no plot. I.e. when you compare movies from the 40s until now you’ll notice that somewhere from let’s say 2005 to 2022 there a „plot decline“ if it comes to summarizing. It’s hard to describe and I know that there is a term for it. It’s the same phenomenon that video games underwent. In short: there’s so much going on in peoples allday life nowadays that the attention span shortened but therefore cognitive abilities increased, so the industry adapted to that lifestyle. In other words: it has to entertain the customer that it’s worth their money, but in a short time span so they can still be „productive“ and/or needs less headspace (i.e. heavy, complex plot) so it’s not energy draining. It’s a complex topic, so I won‘t go into it that much. It really would explain the fascination for marvel movies. It’s like they don’t pay for a movie, they pay for an 2-3 hours event. It’s pretty pictures with lot of action with juuust enough plot. They leave with a rush without being too overwhelmed. And chances are high that you watch them only once for awhile.

And here’s another thing: I don’t need movies to be HD. I don’t need to see pores and wrinkles in every detail. I actually miss the grainy quality sometimes.

Yea I know I sound like a grumpy granny always using „back then“ and „nowadays“ stuff. And maybe it really is a bigger sentiment for nostalgia that I have atm. Though I do know I am not the only one feeling like this and you know that’s kinda sad. Things like movies or in general speaking art and other entertainment is fuel for people to keep them content and it’s kinda frustrating to see one form of content to stagnate in such a way. We do see technical progress in movies and hey that’s great that we can do nifty stuff like that with computers, but what’s the point if more important ingrediens are lacking?

i swear to god everytime i draw her she stretches around like she's made of taffy. Help i just accepted i will never finalize any oc design at this point, she can sometimes have ears big enough to glide with now that is canon. (i had to make it canon they are shapeshifters because i can never decide on any design even after 2 years. all of my ocs are slowly turning into airplanes i guess)

thought about how crazy weird my designs are and how strongly i want them to live , and that entails more months of study and careful constructing anatomy and scenes but it's worth it so worth it to have them actually just be real like in a scene you can corporeally feel their bodies and emotions. beyond just normal OC drawings 'standing/floating there' though those are good too. but that real-surreal-feeling is what i fight for everyday. (this was actually partly a bad thing because i had such an extreme focus on quality>quantity that i only finished 0.1% of my ideas)

this also is why i spent 30 days doing&refining apaika's bedroom pic way beyond what was needed and just disregarding standard composition rules, because i just wanted that to be real in every last little detail in my head even if that entailed a messier art. like if you grabbed your phone and randomly took a photo of your bedroom, it would be messy and awkward and not have any good composition but it would still be real, and if you showed it to an alien it would be a magical thing to them.

i worried if this is too real but my entire purpose of posting now is about me and not being a brand or content stream soo yea. fox plane cute (i will be crying allday but then stop to think about creatures and it triggers my "vehicle with cute face on it" dopamine reward circuit and i can feel okay about being autistic for at least one moment. thinking about the ppl on deviantart with like 9000 ms paint images of different airplane liveries and jealous because i need that feeling everyday tbh)
