ok this was much longer than i thought it would be but this episode has a lot in it. each episode gets better and better and this is definitely my favorite of the season so far.

i am LOVING louis and armands relationship and also both of their story arcs and characterizations. their dynamic is kind of the opposite of what i, and i think a lot of other people, expected but it still makes total sense and im enjoying it a lot

Successfully half assed my half marathon! I had fun! I would've had SO much more fun if I'd actually trained decently. Can't stress enough how much I did NOT feel ready, but we live and learn etc.

START: accidentally joined the wrong pacing group (1hr 35min LMAO) went OFF way too fucking fast. I blame the crowd energy

KM 3: realised my mistake and started regretting all my life choices. It was way too fucking hot for early March. Seriously contemplated leaving the course and just getting a bus home. Forced myself to slow down

KM 4-6: Crashed HARD. Deservedly so. Alternated between 800m run / 200m walk.

KM 7-13: It gets a bit hazy. I had an energy gel. Ran hypnotised by the jiggly bounce of the magnificent ass of the woman running in front of me. I was daydreaming hard. I don't really remember anything else of what was actually going on

KM 14-15: Started feeling really good. Found the 2hr 6min pacing group and decided to stick with them. The crowd was fun!

KM 16: At this point I knew for sure I was going to finish the race even if I had to crawl. A beautiful woman at a refuelling station gave me an orange slice and it was the best thing I have eaten in my life.

KM 17: The sky got cloudy and cool. Great running weather ngl. Almost there! Decided to floor it.

KM 18: Started daydreaming intensely of the food station waiting for me at the finish line. I'd never wanted a banana more in my entire life. Anticipating it intensely. Going maybe a bit too fast. My hamstring said “BITCH YOU THOUGHT.” I had to stop and walk. Tried to remember when was the last time I ran longer than 15k and couldn't. Once again regretted many life choices. Shifted to 100m walk/run intervals

KM 19-21: Back to running. Survived the soul crushing uphill near the ending and started picking up people to pass. It made me feel like a sniper choosing a target. Great for motivation.

KM 21.1: Profit!! I lived bitch etc. Got food AND a medal. Life is good! I'm surrounded by MILFs

i'm writing a recap for posterity bc this was my last harry show for who knows how long and i wanna remember every detail forever.

werchter is so close to where i live, just 15 km, and it's a legendary festival over here. so harry playing at that location is already so fucking cool to me. to then have friends from abroad come join me for the show there, my last ticket to love on tour, is just chef's kiss too perfect. the sun was shining so bright, we found a perfect spot on the grass, there was even the slightest breeze, we had a picnic blanket, we had diced watermelon, we had drinks, we surrounded ourselves with rainbows, it was fucking blissful. i had chills from how happy i was, despite the fucked up heat, and that was before the show even started.

we were def in a far corner of the crowd, removed from other heavy fans ig, so when we were showing energy and love for wet leg we were on a bit of an island, and that vibe stretched on into the rest of the show ngl. we were a group of four intensely dancing bopping singing waving maniacs surrounded by very subtly enjoying crowd members, but i'd like to think we brought up their energy yk. i am def one of those people that just dances and jumps and does not stop dancing and jumping until the last fucking kiwi note is sounded and i love feeling the sweat stream off my body and feel like i've run a marathon and like i can't possibly jump any more and then i fucking do.

there's something magical about being among people that bring that same energy, bc just being in that bubble, singing along with harry, giving it our all, and having the space to run around on that festival field, had me having goosebumps on and off all night. during satellite @bluewinnerangel and i just ran around like maniacs in the empty space where no one was standing with our flags just twirling and bumping and falling and. then we did it all over again during tpwk maybe even harder like i remember panting and catching my breath but just going going going getting fucking dizzy.

and then, during fine line, ofc the crowd around us did not care. no one knows that song, and that's a shame, but it's fine, i'll take that moment for myself anyway. at first i thought i wasn't going to be able to get into it bc of the talking and people around us just suddenly being loud, but it's almost as if that made it even more intense for me. the way that song is so intimate. and then the gp just doesn't give a shit. that physical manifestation around me had me so sucked in by harry that i didn't even hear the crowd anymore after a while. once again i was just singing along with harry singing fine line, right there in front of me, tears streaming down my face. the full moment of it all hit me hard. bc. being so free to move and show my love like that, in a crowd that isn't necessarily on the same wavelength, is a very new thing for me. that i simply do not care that the ppl think my moves are dorky and my energy is too much and my enthusiasm is too loud. so to then hear harry scream we'll be alright. like. yeah. we will be. we are.

the sun was setting, the sky was mesmerizing, and harry waited just long enough to let all of that simmer. before sott, before going into the mania that is as it was and kiwi, he waited just the right amount of time for us to gather our wits, wipe our eyes, and get ready to fucking send it one last time. and we fucking did. you know you've done well when you're dizzy from headbanging so hard and your abs are cramping from the absolute stomping we did.

then we lay down on the ground and nothing in the entire universe mattered beyond us being there at that moment. holy shit it was special. i love you @bluewinnerangel i love you @swimmingleo i love you @emsfinewalls. so lucky to have been there with you. thank you for everything

Okay Saw thoughts after just watching the first two movies:

I didn’t realize that Jigsaw’s whole thing was people “not appreciating their life” instead of “punishing those who evaded justice” like I thought. It was cool to actually find out the motivation as I watched the movie

Speaking of, I get the motivation for putting almost everyone else in the traps so far except for Adam? Like I get that his life wasn’t necessarily the greatest but damn. Bold assumption by John that he didn’t actually care about and cherish his life

The part where Adam beats that orderly from the hospital to death with the toilet cover? Unfortunately a little bit hot. I cannot deny it

Didn’t understand the Lawrence/Adam pairing at first, but was 100% on board by the end

Since John leaves the bathroom not long after Lawrence, I have to imagine they ran into each other. Trying to figure out wtf THAT conversation would be like

(Imagining John telling Lawrence that Adam is already dead and he should be glad because if he wasn’t, then that would mean Lawrence had failed and would be dead in his place instead and it’s making me a little emo ngl)

Any time that puppet Jigsaw uses shows up I do laugh a little because he just sorta appears. It’s funny to me idk

I knew going into Saw 2 that Amanda became John’s apprentice at some point but I didn’t know if it was after her first trap or her second trap. Cue me saying to my friend “God I hope she’s his apprentice by this point because if I was her and I got put into TWO SEPARATE TRAPS I think I would just kms. I would simply not team up with the guy”

Most of the gore I was okay with but the needle pit thing? Had to half look away from that one because I hate needles

Amanda and that one other blonde woman were kinda giving me some shipping vibes. Unfortunate we did not get to see that more fleshed out though

The plot twist that everything was prerecorded? Knocked my socks off that was awesome

I don’t think this will ACTUALLY be the case, but with Eric ALSO dying in that bathroom and his corpse being left to rot, I think it’d be really funny if every Saw movie going forward ended with someone dying/someone’s corpse being in that bathroom. By the 8th or so movie there’s just a pile of bodies that, while absolutely horrifying in universe, would be very funny to see as an audience

Prediction for down the line: this is not the last we see of Daniel Matthews. He’s gonna come back in some later installment
