Hello! Could I ask for general yandere Bruce Wayne headcanons? Thank you! ^^

ben affleck version cause hes hot
gn reader cuz im a boss
warnings: stalking, manipulation, stockholm syndrome, yandere themes, obsessiveness.
Tumblr media
Bruce is typically on the kidnapping side than the manipulation. Manipulation was his second option but he spent months watching you closely and couldn’t contain himself for long.
He isn’t a big fan of the manipulation crap like Diana, he prefers to just take you instead; its his ego or his wealth.
He uses his money to win you over.
You are probably wealthy but still on the “unfortunate” side according to Bruce.
I can see Bruce already knowing about you before you even met him, he is the Bruce Wayne and of course you heard of him and his heroic events but you just didn’t really know him.
However, he does watch you first. In his eyes, he doesn’t stalk; he just happens to be patrolling in the carefree nights in Gotham on your side of town. No big deal. The Batman is just caring for all citizens.
He is very delusional about his beliefs and his beliefs only. Doesn’t really care of what anyone thinks of him.
He probably gets judged by the League before they take their darlings.
Like, Diana would get her beloved first and Barry and Victor would give her a weird side-eye but when Bruce first talked about you; Barry and Victor were highly against him. Arthur didn’t care and Clark had already known about Bruce’s intentions.
He is an observer. Probably even knows how long it takes for you to even go to sleep, depending on your mood of course. I can see Bruce even knowing your day-to-day schedule. Whether you work or go to school. He knows how you function and knows what you need to function throughout the day.
He will probably take you when your sleeping or walking to your home. But Bruce is no dumbass. He plans out his kidnapping with the help of Alfred who is too concerned for Bruce’s intentions.
Predicts the time and everything, everything is planned out and your finally his.
Due to his power as the Batman and his wealth as Bruce Wayne: he is wayyyyyy toooooooo strong to escape.
Probably monitors your phone because he knows you will contact anyone for help.
Go to Gotham City Police? They know better to turn you back to him.
Your bank accounts are fucked up.
Your social media accounts are deactivated.
Every app has a child's lock on it because it uses it to taunt at you, how defenseless and powerless you are against him.
God forbid you actually manage to escape, somehow break Alfred into letting you go. Now Bruce will never fire Alfred but he does tend to show you both a reminder about what happens if you cross him.
Definitely catches you before you are able to go to any of your friends or family to support.
You have not been in contact with the people you love the most: they are currently under the impression you started a new job opportunity at Wayne Enterprises and will be quiet for a while, but not to worry: Bruce can easily make your family forget about your with a little dash of cash.
Blood, Blood, Blood. Kills what is the most meaningful to you.
Definitely not afraid to get his hands dirty, honestly prefers it.
Reminds you he does everything to protect you.
Because you may not need him but he needs you.
He had been shallow for way long and now takes what he wants.
There is no escaping Bruce Wayne nor the Batman.

BEN AFFLECKS DAREDEVIL (2003) IS BEAUTIFUL. SHOWSTOPPING. AMAZING. A MASTERPIECE. @anxiouscritter
So I first watched this movie with my dad about a year ago when I was 15, and I was amazed. I get the same feeling with movies I know will continue to have emotional impact on me throughout my life. Baby Driver, Kill Bill, The Godfather, Fight Club.
These are all amazing movies in my opinion (and I'll be writing about those soon as well).
I'm not even sure what exactly captivated me but I'm going to go through each of the things I liked about the movie and how they made me feel.
First of all, Ben Affleck as Matt Murdock. UGH. I LOVE THAT MAN. He was so attractive in that movie and everything about his character just drew me to him. His attitude and swagger- just everything. I think he presented the character so well and his chemistry with Elektra was so GOOD. That scene in the park where they're fighting and he's thinking "damn idk what this girl looks like but her voice is nice and she can fight good, I'm sold" and she's thinking "this blind guy followed me, and he's surprisingly good at fighting but MAN HES GOOD LOOKING" their energy is unmatched. Second of all, EVANESCENCE. GOT ME HOOKED. JUST PUT ANY SONG REMOTELY ALT IN A MOVIE AND IM COMPLETELY IN LOVE. And the ending OH. So tragic, but it felt right. And the fact that Matt has a priest help him with his injuries while he confesses his sins is such a beautiful thing to me I can't explain it. Pls ask me questions about my favourite movies. Please.

What to watch during the ongoing WGA strike
As the WGA strike keeps going, put the pressure where it belongs: on big companies, not the writers working for better conditions.
While we wait for new content (after an equitable agreement), here are some lesser-known movies, along with the (US) streaming services where they can be found. Feel free to add on with a title, short description, and where it can be found!
(Television show version here!)
Films listed under the cut!
Tumblr media
Netflix:
The Gray Man (2022) - Rated R. A CIA spook known only as Sierra Six (Ryan Gosling) is assigned to kill a former Sierra member... only to find himself at the center of a conspiracy. At the same time, he becomes the target of a sadistic ex-CIA mercenary (Chris Evans).
Genre: Action/thriller. There are likely to be more Gray Man films coming in the near future, along with a television show based on Chris Evans's chillingly villainous Lloyd Hansen.
Rocky (1976) - Rated PG. Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) is a washed-up boxer who works as a Mafia enforcer. He gets an unexpected chance at glory when boxer Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) wants to fight an unknown.
Genre: Drama/sports. If you don't know the story behind Rocky, it's almost as good as the movie itself!
The Imitation Game (2014) - Rated PG-13. The story of Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch), particularly his work in World War II to decode Enigma transmissions intercepted from the Axis powers.
Genre: Biographical drama. The Imitation Game is the story of Alan Turing's life, both triumphs and tragedies. It contains themes of hidden homosexuality, cruel and unusual punishment, and suicide.
Max:
Triple Frontier (2019) - Rated R. An ex-Delta Force soldier (Oscar Isaac) asks his prior teammates to come on one final mission, with the promise of an incredible payout.
Genre: Action/adventure. Triple Frontier is a typical action/adventure movie with some interesting effects and a cast (Isaac, Ben Affleck, Pedro Pascal, Charlie Hunnam, and Garrett Hedlund) that elevates it a little further.
Parasite (2019) - Rated R. The Kim family struggles to make ends meet until Ki-woo is referred to tutor a rich teenager. Through manipulation and daring, the entire Kim family ends up employed by the unknowing Park family.
Genre: Black comedy/thriller. Full of fascinating dynamics and an interesting look at divisions of wealth in South Korea, it's clear to see why Parasite gained such acclaim.
Casablanca (1942) - Rated PG. Casablanca, Morocco is a popular departure point for people fleeing the Nazis. Jaded nightclub owner Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart) must decide whether to risk his life to help his ex (Ingrid Bergman) and her husband escape.
Genre: Romance/drama. Casablanca is considered by many to be the greatest movie ever made. If you haven't seen it, try it. Keep an eye out for dry humor and the way the director uses shadows to keep the black and white film interesting!
Ex Machina (2014) - Rated R. Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson) wins an office lottery to help the company's CEO (Oscar Isaac) test his new AI (Alicia Vikander).
Genre: Sci-fi/psychological thriller. With incredible effects, a labyrinthine plot, and uncomfortable questions about what makes us human, it's easy to see why Ex Machina is considered one of the best sci-fi films of the last decade.
Hulu:
The Last Action Hero (1993) - Rated PG-13. Film fan Danny (Austin O'Brien) goes to see the latest in his favorite franchise, he finds himself pulled into the movie, working alongside his hero Jack Slater (Arnold Schwarzeneggar).
Genre: Fantasy/action/satire. Think of every action trope you associate with Arnold Schwarzeneggar, mix it with a vibe like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and add some self-aware humor, and you have The Last Action Hero. This is not a popular film among internet aggregators, but I enjoyed it!
Palm Springs (2020) - Rated R. Reluctant maid of honor Sarah (Cristin Milioti) is fascinated by a wedding guest (Andy Samberg) who seems to know more than he should. When she follows him from the wedding, she finds herself stuck with him in a time loop.
Genre: Sci-fi/rom-com. Though Palm Springs has some real COVID-19 quarantine vibes, the plot keeps it from feeling like a time capsule.
Whiplash (2014) - Rated R. Talented drummer Andrew Neiman (Miles Teller) is identified for an elite jazz band by sadistic and manipulative conductor Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons).
Genre: Drama. Though Whiplash is not a horror movie, it is partially produced by Blumhouse Productions. That darkness really shines through in Fletcher's abusive behavior.
Role Models (2008) - Rated R. After a disastrous, drunken day at work, Danny (Paul Rudd) is assigned community service in a big brother program. He is assigned to awkward teenager Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and accompanies him during his favorite activity: LARPing.
Genre: Humor. Though Role Models can get a little close to cringe comedy, it's got enough genuine humor and heart to get away with it... and even be a little sweet.
Amazon Prime:
The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) - Rated R. An author tells the story of Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori), the owner of a once-grand hotel in the former country of Zubrowka, using several frame stories.
Genre: Drama. Wes Anderson's films have a very characteristic style. The Grand Budapest Hotel features stunning sets, a ton of cameos, and enough quirky humor to keep you entertained!
Hot Fuzz (2007) - Rated R. London police officer Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is reassigned to the small town of Sandford. He's frustrated by the small town at first, but a string of murders make him suspect something more is going on...
Genre: Action/comedy. Hot Fuzz is the second installment of the Cornetto Trilogy. It is a satirical look at the cop film genre - and thus has a lot of overdramatic violence - but it manages to stand on its own at the same time.
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) - Rated PG. Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) are two teens more interested in their band than their studies. But if they don't pass their history final, Ted will be sent to military school. A mysterious stranger gives them a time machine, sending them off to write the best essay of all time!
Genre: Comedy/sci-fi. If you're used to Keanu Reeves as a broody hero, you're in for a shock and a treat to see him at his surfer/stoner/slacker best!
The Iron Giant (1999) - Rated PG. In 1957, 9-year-old Hogarth Hughes finds a 50-foot tall robot in the woods. He befriends the giant and the two work to evade the government, who suspect it is an attack on the United States.
Genre: Family/adventure. The Iron Giant is one of the most recognizable and emotional animated films of the 1990s - extra impressive considering it's a Warner Bros film that came out in the middle of the Disney Renaissance!
Disney+
The Boondock Saints (1999) - Rated R. Irish Catholic brothers Connor (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus) living in 1990s Boston are sick of the crime on the streets. They decide to take matters into their own hands.
Genre: Crime/drama. The Boondock Saints has low scores on almost every film aggregator site, but is widely considered a cult classic. (Edit: warnings for insensitive portrayal of homosexuality and transgenderism.)
Feel free to reblog this and add your own lesser-known film suggestions! Support the WGA strike!
The Reluctant Dragon (1941) - Rated G. Robert Benchley wants to sell a movie idea to Walt Disney. As he searches for Walt, he wanders through the studio and sees how many of the magical movie effects are done.
Genre: Family/fantasy. I'll admit, this film was included on purpose. Not because it's amazing (it's interesting at best), but because of the story behind it. The Reluctant Dragon was released three weeks after the majority of the animators went on strike. (And most of the "workers" in the film are actually actors, another sore spot.) Disney fired all of the strikers before eventually agreeing to let them unionize and rehiring those who wished to return. (You can read more about the strike here.)

HEY BITCH. Talk to me about Cal/Rayvis
👀👉👈
you are, like, the ONLY person who knows of my weird ship with this.
and yes, i am going to TRY to break the tag on this one.
the main reason i started shipping this was because of, well, rayvis big. see my dagan/rayvis post where i literally write "im a whore for rayvis". its true. and i fuckin kin cal. and what happens? i slap the characters together. this one could be easily seen as an enemies to lovers kinda situation, but the thing is, is that like...
rayvis holds a LOT of respect towards cal. we see that when we first get introduced to rayvis in rambler's reach. we see that when rayvis speaks of cal to dagan and how much of a threat he could be. and rayvis knows he can use cal to his advantage for his bizarre loophole of forced murder so he doesnt have to break his code.
i have this whole thing about how the fight with rayvis nearly kills cal and rayvis sees that he's about to win which means that, YES he gets his goal, but FUCK he has to still deal with dagan. so he puts a LOT of trust and respect towards cal. and as cal, we the player kinda see rayvis as just another boss fight. but, like, cal straight up was like "wait-no, i CANT do another mercy kill, it'll fuck me up. i already did that with masana, i CANT do that again. this dude was probably the NICEST villain to me, i cant just let him die" and goes about it like "haha, i won, you yielded, your code is to me now" and rayvis just has the ben affleck expression on his face
but there is this... bizarre level of respect between the two characters. that sort of resonates between the two each time we see them. the plan i have to break the tag is using that bizarre level of respect between them to my advantage. to do something mind-bendy and fucky with it.
and once again: itS MY SHIP, THERE ARE NO UNPOPULAR OPINIONS WITH IT BECAUSE MY OPINIONS ARE CORRECT AHAHAHAHAH
also YOU ALREADY KNOW ALL THIS, YOU HAVE HEARD ME GO OFF ABOUT IT SEVERAL TIMES, HAN

Welp, with The Flash coming out and it being like swan song to the DCEU, I couldn't help but take a look back at some of the other DC movies and i was like, "why not just rank them and with my stupid opinions!"
Aight so this is the part where I explain why, originally i considered making a post of each movie like how i did it with marvel movies and shows on Twitter at some point but decided not because I'm not a poignant person with the most creative writing nor could i often keep the same attention span for it for awhile so here is the best way to review em all in a few words or less.
Will be doing it in the order they were released in.
Tumblr media
1. Man Of Steel
7.5/10.
I actually like this movie, it's definitely has non-stop action and i can't help but think maybe I just enjoy that because I have a peanut for a brain. It definitely tries to be more grounded to see how humanity would react to Superman existing our world. I do like Henry Cavill as Superman i just wish we got more scenes of him being more warmer and more scenes of him helping and saving people. I can definitely understand why others disagree and really dislike this one.
Tumblr media
2. Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice
3.5/10
This movie exists and is what set off panic triggers at Warner Bros. & Prettyyyyyyy much ruined the perception of Superman and Batman to a bunch of "certain" people. It crams in way too many storylines, tries to set up way too much, some miscasting, kills off superman in his like 2nd appearance, wonder woman got spoiled in the trailers and whatnot.
Ben Affleck as Batman was cool and the warehouse fight scene was cool. I'm sad that it was Dick Grayson the one who got killed.
The Ultimate Edition of this one is just a 6/10, while it does give more context and more scenes that I do like, it still has the same problems so no, it doesn't fix everything.
Tumblr media
3. Suicide Squad
2/10
Nobody likes this movie, also nobody likes me.
I remember thinking that the comic con trailer was the coolest shit to ever exist. Then I saw the movie and remember feeling lied to and deceived.
Everything sucks, everything happens too much at the same time, characters barely feel like character at times, etc. Really deserving of that Oscar!!!!!!!
I did like Harley Quinn, Amanda Waller, and Captain Boomerang (even if he barely did anything)
Tumblr media
4. Wonder Woman
8.5/10 Wonder Woman
Really love this movie, Wonder Woman is great, i love the characters, the chemistry, the action and her helping people.
It does stumble abit towards the end however but even then, it still felt like a great movie 👍
Tumblr media
5. Justice League (2017)
5.5/10
This movie pretty much is the reason why the DCEU became a wild rabid animal that needed to be put down immediately.
Movie is just mediocre, humor is just "Not funny. Didn't laugh." , Action is lame, backstories are rushed, Flash is annoying, Aquaman is a dickhead for no reason, cyborg doesn't even get a backstory, they really take their time saving people, dumb Russian family subplot.
I liked the after credits scene of Superman and Flash racing. So while the movie is not extremely awful and not a bad waste of your time, it's also not a good waste of your time.
Tumblr media
6. Aquaman
7.5/10
Really like Aquaman, love how cheesy it was, Black Manta was cool.
While i love the cheesiness in this movie, this movie does also get abit stupid at times but still a fun time where you can go off with, with a pal or smth.
Tumblr media
7. Shazam!
8/10
I thought the movie was a fun time, nothing outrageous but nothing bad as well, just a movie i can have a good time watching.
Tumblr media
8. Birds Of Prey
6.5/10
Cassandra Cain is not even Cassandra Cain and that still pisses me off to this day. Overall, it's definitely a Harley Quinn movie and NOT a Birds Of Prey movie. Black Mask was a cool villain. This movie felt like it was trying too hard to be like Deadpool ngl.
Tumblr media
9. Wonder Woman 1984
4/10
It's like being asked out by someone you like so you get excited and say yes and later show up to the date all ready and stuff, only to find out it was a prank just to see if you were gullible enough to fall for it.
Tumblr media
10. Zack Snyder's Justice League
6.5/10
Welp, i now wish the movie never got released so the people who are like #restorethesnyderverse never got the satisfaction and got to comfortable enough to become a bunch of crybabies believing they are the top of the world.
Movie is just okay, cool action, good characters for the most part but holy shit is it way too long with really unnecessary scenes. If you can't release a movie without making it 4 hours long thinking it'll make things more cohesive, well i got some news for ya pal.
Welp turns out i ran to a limit with the images so lemme make another post about it to keep sharing my thoughts on the DCEU Movies, ig this is a part 1 of 2 post.
But for now, what did you think of my thoughts? Do you agree or disagree to the point that you wanna break into my house to beat me up, kill me and burn my house to the ground.
Lmk what you think or want to hear more thoughts for me to specify.
Thanks for reading, losing your braincells along the way and have a nice day.

Fic-Writer Interview
Not tagged but picked up from @mercurygray :)
How many works do you have on AO3?
261!
What’s your total AO3 word count?
1,762,015!
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Affinity War (3182)
3 Simple Rules for Dating a Centenarian (2688)
The Great Madripoorian Snake Off (2245)
"Stare Enough" (1843)
Alright on Paper (1463)
Picture a t-shirt bearing the exhausted Ben Affleck smoking meme and the words, "I survived the MCU and so can you!" (My top 5 were written for Spider-Man and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.)
Do you respond to comments?
Respond and proceed to treasure forever.
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
After poking around in my catalogue of fics, it's either one I wrote for Bodyguard, "Don't Ever Let Me Start," or "The Pretty Ones (Who Try to Kill You)" for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
Most of what I write does have a happy ending. Hmm... Love Me Like You Drew (for Nancy Drew) and "Same Day, Different Jumpsuit" (the one and only Natasha/Mobius fic on AO3) are both near and dear to my heart.
Do you write crossovers?
Nope! I'm a real compartmentalizer.
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Yes! So fun! It typically boils down to "I don't like the ship(s) and/or character(s) in this fic and am here to complain even though you tagged everything properly and I could have just scrolled past!" Fic hate is silly. I chuckle all the way to the "delete" button.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
*shakes smut variety pack* What kind ya lookin' for?
Click here for my E-rated fics on AO3.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yep, I've had people post my fics on other platforms without my permission, thinking that as long as they added my username for "credit," it was all good 🙄
Have you ever had a fic translated?
I have not, by choice.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Nope! I'm an editor and an only child, so.
What’s your all-time favourite ship?
I've written for so many pairings (and a few trios), but Midge/Lenny from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has an evergreen ability to set my heart aflutter.
What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
Rude. Probably my Scream AU of Nancy Drew. I would love to write it, but I can't currently see going back and reacquainting myself with all the characters I'd planned to include.
What are your writing strengths?
I love writing humour, in dialogue or otherwise. Also descriptions packed with metaphor.
What are your writing weaknesses?
I. Hate. Plot. I'm here—on this planet, on the internet—to create atmosphere, not complex storylines.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
Love it! Like @mercurygray, I speak some French and Italian, so those are the ones I tend to add if I'm going beyond English.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Gilmore Girls (specifically A Year in the Life), and I am ready to return to it TOMORROW if Amy Sherman-Palladino provokes me with more bad characterization.
What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?
Nothing comes to mind! With both ships and fandoms, I pretty much jump when I wanna jump. I'm also always open to hearing requests.
What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?
Oh! Oh! What a question! It's my baby, my Pride and Prejudice AU, For Now, We May Remain Silent. I wrote it with my copy of Austen open on my desk next to my laptop, going line by line. I worked on it while coping with the final illness and death of someone I loved very much, so a lot of love went into it, and I'm glad I have the fic as a reminder of that time.
From "Studio Tour," still my favourite chapter:
Here are her paintbrushes, disorganized and held in the loose grip of big, old coffee cans. The brushes rattle when Peter runs his finger over their handles, the faded red bristles spinning. A thick, flat brush with discoloured yellow bristles might be his favourite. Glancing over his shoulder, he furtively strokes the uneven hairs with his thumb. They all have this well-used quality that makes his chest clench confusingly. Michelle’s been living a whole life with these in her hand, he thinks, and I don’t know anything about it.
Tagging: Any and all fic-writers following me! Say I tagged ya!

this show better sweep at the emmys jfc
like i don’t care about awards but andor has some of the best writing of a tv show i have seen in like YEARS, along with the gorgeous sets/props/etc, and the MUSIC??? unreal. plus every actor OWNS their shit so far, there’s been no misses (looking at you, g*na c*r*no in mando lol even before we knew she was a horrible person I was always like... she can’t act why is she here). i mean diego luna is ALWAYS on point but I mean he’s also giving so much space for others to shine in his own show: adria arjona broke me in episode 3, stellan skarsgård has blown me away in every scene he is in, genevieve o’reilly has nailed the vibes of the landed gentry liberal, denise gough, kyle soller, faye marsay, anton lesser with his tarkin levels of imperial officiousness - and we haven’t seen gotten to forrest fucking whittaker yet, who has already played saw multiple times and did it well so you KNOW he’s gonna kill with saw at his prime (and also at one of his most heartbroken moments, having likely just left jyn behind given the time frame). and of course fiona shaw, who did well but I feel like every person - even like smaller characters - have been on that level of really good.
I hope to god the show gets word of mouth viewers, I hope it gets the viewership it deserves because IMO it’s the best thing on right now. it’s not just an example of good representation (so far) and good politics (SO FAR) but it’s an example of what can be done when creatives are given time, space and control of their works - while still being kept accountable to the source material - and of course a hefty budget. disney should not be producing flops. disney should be producing this level of quality because disney has the resources and power to do it. it doesn’t always need to be mature and dark and gritty, but they have no reason to be putting out mediocre rushed trash. they need to pay their workers properly, treat them with respect and dignity, and give their creatives what they need to make great things.
I think every frame reveals that the show is a labor of love.
that doesn’t mean I don’t have my critiques but it is so nice to have a few critiques and not like full blown ben-affleck-with-the-cigarette meme disappointment.

Who should play The Batman in the DCU?
Tumblr media
This is a question that I think no one really wants to answer.
After the success of Matt Reeves The Batman, Michael Keatons return to the role, Kevin Conroy's Death, and Ben Affleck leaving it, I think it is safe to say people have had enough Batman, and enough good takes of the character.
Even so, Andy Muschetti is currently set to direct The DCU's Brave and the Bold, which will show a new Batman, now older and with his son, Damian Wayne.
Recently a popular fancast surfaced of John Krasinski for the role, to some fans love and some fans dismay.
Tumblr media
Personally, I don't think he was suited for Reed or for Bruce. I can see him more as a Green Lantern. But this did get my wheels turning, hopefully to do better. And I got some picks. But first, we need to answer a few questions.
What live action versions are we pulling from?
Tumblr media
We want to pull key elements from different versions, but there are so many iterations Jesus.
I am not going to go into all of them, I'll stick with 3. But know that I am a fan of most iterations of The Batman.
Ben Affleck
Tumblr media
Love him or hate him, Ben Affleck's Batman was memorable. Personally he has a lot of things I want to incorporate into our DCU Batman. For one, he is our older Batman. Our actor should be similar aged to Ben.
He is also a complete unit. After being Batman for so long, he has had to make himself more of a unit in order to properly take out foes.
This is also the best voice, suit, and fighting style I've seen for a live action Batman. The voice modulator works wonders.
I think Ben had a presence that made it clear he was a leader of the team, if not Thee leader. I want our Bruce to feel the same.
Robert Pattinson
Tumblr media
Robert Pattinson is a little weirdo. And I mean that in the best way.
This was the first time I think it was properly shown how uncomfortable it might be to be around such a presence as Batman. He is fear personified, and working with someone like that can and should be awkward.
Pattinson also took being Batman way too seriously, our Bruce should do the same. Batman's a religion to Bruce.
We need someone who can be a middle ground between these two as Batman.
Christian Bale
Tumblr media
While those two perfected Batman, no one has done Bruce Wayne better than Bale.
Bale by far did the act of Bruce Wayne most convincingly. It is one of my favorite aspects of his films. We need someone who can pull off charming douchebag when needed, but slip back into dark loner.
Bale was also funny in a way Batman hasn't been in awhile. We need someone when comfortable be able to joke with Clark.
You can see why casting a Batman can be extremely difficult. Balancing all these characteristics are crucial to making it work.
What ethnicity is Bruce Wayne?
Tumblr media
All iterations of Batman have been white.
Now, is there value in making him another ethnicity? Maybe. Making him a person of color could be part of why he doesn't trust the police and takes matters into his own hands. Perhaps maybe his parents being new money is why they are killed. Who is to say?
For now, I will say Batman can be any ethnicity.
Other Stipulations
Tumblr media
The DCU Batman is confirmed to have a son, Damian Wayne. Assuming he has already raised Dick Grayson, Tim Drake and Jason Todd is already dead, this Batman has to be in their 50s. We're looking for an older actor.
George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Robert Pattinson and Ben Affleck have all taken up the role, meaning we need a name. Someone who immediately you know, whether you like it or not. But we also need someone surprising.
We need someone who we can see doing this for awhile. At least 5-8 years. The DCU is just starting, so someone with longevity is a must.
He should probably be tall.
Finally, as always, someone not known for past superhero roles. Let's begin.
3. Jamie Dornan
Tumblr media
Jamie Dornan may be the safest and most controversial choice for The Batman.
Like Pattinson before him, Dornan is known for playing the love interest in some pretty bad movies, but since has made a career for himself full of wins. Projects like Belfast, Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar and the Tourist proves Dornan has the acting chops for it.
He is a little younger than we would like, but he can play older, and looks a lot like a classic Bruce Wayne.
Tumblr media
I have two main concerns for Dornan. One, would he be better off as a villain? In the DCU, he may make a fantastic Gotham City villain like Harvey Dent. But in the MCU, does he have the making of a fantastic Doctor Doom? I think so.
Tumblr media
Finally, the character he plays in Fifty Shades of Grey is BASED on Edward Cullen, who was played by Robert Pattinson, our current Batman. The comparisons will be built in from the beginning, and we something fresh.
I think Dornan can kill it, but there's too much against him for him to be my main pick.
2. Bradley Cooper
Tumblr media
Now I know what you're thinking, he's Rocket Raccoon!
Yes he is, but the Guardians movies are now finished. And unlike his teammates, Cooper doesn't really show his face when playing the character. In a way, he is oddly detached from Marvel.
He has also worked with James Gunn before, is currently producing Joker: Folie a Deux, and has an incredible career to back up him as a pick.
From American Sniper to Nightmare Alley to A Star is Born, Cooper consistently delivers. He can do suave, he can do loner, he can do troubled, and he can do comedy. I think he could be a spiritual successor to someone like Ben Affleck, and lead the Justice League in a way that feels natural.
He'd also be useful behind the camera, as he was the director of A Star is Born.
Tumblr media
My biggest concern with Cooper is whether he would want to do it. One of the benefits of playing a raccoon is you get to work from a booth for maybe a few hours and you're done. This would be a commitment.
There also comes the question of whether Cooper is bigger than the role. We want people to be lost in the story, so finding an actor who convincingly be Batman is crucial. Cooper might be just a little too big for this.
Of my three, I think Cooper is the most likely to land the role, and that may be for the best.
1. Alexander Skarsgård
Tumblr media
If we're looking for a surprising pick, with range, physicality, a name that is big but not bigger than the role, I give you: Alexander Skarsgård.
Known for roles in The Stand, Succession, The Northman and Infinity Pool, Skarsgård is one of those actors who is often forgotten but people are excited to see when he pops up.
He is a dramatic actor who can do funny, scary, and anything in between. He's played fantasy characters in The Stand, a billionaire asshole in Succession, and a warrior in The Northman, all praised. He has all the making of a great Batman.
Tumblr media
He is classically handsome, and at 6'3, 46 years old, he is just in the age range we're looking for, and towers over most heroes.
He doesn't feel like any other Batman before him either, which will help us stay away from those comparison conversations.
I don't think there really is a perfect answer as to who should be the next Batman. But of all my options, Skarsgård makes the most sense. I could see him and David Corenswet leading the league for years to come.

Rory Cochrane and Matthew McConaughey in Dazed and Confused (Richard Linklater, 1993)
Cast: Jason London, Joey Lauren Adams, Milla Jovovich, Shawn Andrews, Rory Cochrane, Adam Goldberg, Anthony Rapp, Sasha Jensen, Marissa Ribisi, Michelle Burke, Cole Hauser, Ben Affleck, Parker Posey, Matthew McConaughey, NIcky Katt. Screenplay: Richard Linklater. Cinematography: Lee Daniel. Production design: John Frick. Film editing: Sandra Adair.
In Dazed and Confused, Richard Linklater does something like what Francis Ford Coppola did for the gangster film in The Godfather (1972) or Sam Peckinpah did for the Western in The Wild Bunch (1969): They took a familiar movie genre, in Linklater's case the teen comedy, and perfected it. Linklater doesn't parody it the way Tina Fey did in Mean Girls (Mark Waters, 2004) or sentimentalize it the way George Lucas did in American Graffiti (1973), though the latter film, with its oldies soundtrack, comes closer to what Linklater accomplishes. But Linklater explicitly rejected the nostalgia of American Graffiti. His attitude is summed up by the character Randall "Pink" Floyd (Jason London), the quarterback who resists signing a no alcohol, no drugs pledge so he can stay on the team: "If I ever start referring to these as the best years of my life, remind me to kill myself." Linklater has said that he wanted to avoid the melodramatic excesses of teen films -- the car crashes and pregnancies -- and to reflect the reality of just "riding around and trying to look for something to do with the music cranked up." Roger Ebert and others have called Linklater an anthropologist. It's easy to see this in his best work, such as the 12-years-in-the-making Boyhood (2014) and the Céline-and-Jesse trilogy, Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004), and Before Midnight (2013), in which Linklater takes the time to get to know his characters and the way their experiences have shaped them at specific moments in their lives. But in Dazed and Confused we are offered only a few hours with a host of characters, on the last day of school in 1976 -- the summer that Linklater turned 16 -- and into the evening that follows. There is beer and pot and vandalism -- which gets the vandals shot at -- and some rather frustrated sexuality, but it never turns into anything worse than the seniors hazing the freshmen by paddling them, and the most sadistic of the seniors getting a bucket of paint dumped on his head in retribution. There is no plot as such, but who needs plot when you have a cast of formidable but then-unknown young actors, including two future Oscar winners, to create the characters? Ben Affleck evokes the sadism of O'Bannion, whose obsession with paddling freshmen begins to frighten even his fellow hazers. Matthew McConaughey's Wooderson, the twentysomething slacker who still hangs out with high school kids, is the very embodiment of the Peter Pan complex. He insists "You just gotta keep livin', man," but reveals the unacknowledged sadness within by saying, "That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age." Linklater's genius is demonstrated in his ability to tell so much about so many in his huge cast of characters, from the completely baked Slater (Rory Cochrane) to the class nerds (Marissa Ribisi, Anthony Rapp, and Adam Goldberg), in such a short time.

Final Flash Update: an actual review
Tumblr media
The DCEU has always been very hit or miss for me, but it has a special place in my heart. When Man of Steel came out, my dad was OBSESSED with it (still is), and it became the first superhero movie I ever watched. Despite the mediocre scores internet-wide (and how the terraforming scared the shit out of me as a kid), I cannot help but love that film to death. It really sparked my interest with superheroes and just ‘nerdier’ stuff in general.
While the DCEU opened me up to the whole world of superheroes, it also became part of what made me so weary of comic book movies. While there were good movies like Wonder Woman (2017) and (hot take) Black Adam, and great ones like the Snydercut, there were also huge disappointments that left me feeling pissed off when the theater lights turned back on. It’s not like all of these movies are downright horrible in every way (exception being 2016’s Suicide Squad), but each seemed to have its own form of kryptonite. The Justice League (2017)’s being its lack of character development; Wonder Woman 1984’s forgettable plot; and of course, Batman v. Superman’s Martha scene.
With the DCEU’s track record, the over saturation of superhero media, and with Ezra Miller being… Ezra Miller, my hopes for this movie were extremely low. But I actually left the theater feeling pretty.. decent?
Here are my main takeaways. Spoilers ahead:
Plot + Characters
As of now, I haven’t noticed any critical plot holes, which is pretty great, especially considering it’s a multiverse movie and all. Everything that blew up in Barry’s face was tied up nicely. But I am sorta curious to see how moving the tomato can caused Ben Affleck to become George Clooney.
The time mechanics were also pretty neat, like how a new future creates a new past.
I kinda like Barry a lot. He’s wicked awkward but it’s funny to watch.
Younger Barry too! He was such an airhead in the beginning that I was shocked to find out he was the guy that our Barry kept seeing when he time travelled.
I found Keaton’s Batman entertaining too. But the whole time Keaton didn’t really seem like he was trying to act. He just looked happy to be Batman again, which I can’t blame him for. On that note, I wish Bale’s Batman made a cameo somehow.
I was underwhelmed with the Zod plot. I was ready to watch him totally kick Flash’s ass. I didn’t mind Kara, but again she was a bit underwhelming too.
I got excited when Zod mentioned discovering Clark in his pod somewhere in space. I was like “Oh shit, did they take him in and train him to fight for them?” Seeing an evil Superman would’ve been crazy, but nah, they just killed him instead. Lame-os.
Effects / CGI
Oh man, I did not enjoy some of the choices made here.
First of all, the deep fake cameos. And also, deepfaking people like Adam West and all, who are dead, is a little odd. However Nicholas Cage showing up was very funny.
Then there was the CGI in the Speedverse (?? correct me if that’s the wrong name). It was video-game level. I felt like I was watching a skyrim-inspired acid trip.
Even outside of speedverse, the quality was really spotty.
Action
Oh my god, it’s so refreshing when there’s even the tiniest ounce of creativity in fight scenes (Looking at you, MCU).
Diving deeper into Barry’s powers was cool and seeing him fight with (and then against) himself was neat!
Then there was also pretty standard Batman stuff that I’m a sucker for
NEEDED a better Kara v. Zod fight. I wanted lasers. I wanted them to go to space. ANYTHING
Overall Emotional Reaction
Both Barrys hit hard a few times. The desperation to fix everything. Having to let go of their mom and accept their fate(s?). The scene when he said goodbye to her for the last time was pretty sad.
The themes were simple: accept your past; pain makes us who we are; etc etc. But there’s nothing really wrong with that.
The jokes landed! I laughed with, not at, most things
…Okay, I did laugh out loud at some things, like the deepfakes and when the Barrys phased for the first time.
But yeah, it was really enjoyable to watch. The runtime wasn’t an issue at all. Dull moments were rare (though I didn’t give a single shit about Barry’s dating life at all)
Final Score:
Characters: 7/10
Plot: 7/10
CGI: 4/10
Action: 7/10
Tumblr media
6.3 / 10
If I had to rank: above Black Adam, below Wonder Woman
but seriously can they just recast flash already. I wish ezra miller all the best on rehabbing themselves, and they really do a great job with the character, but it’s like they’re trying to get a jail sentence with everything they’ve done

Run Barry Run
I am here to watch The Flash. People are boycotting the film due to Ezra Miller's antics. It doesn't affect me or anyone else. The CW series had come to an end. The new DC universe launched managed by James Gunn. I had arrived early as I have a new card and needed to see if the pin will work. Usually book seats early online. Seat J13 screen 8. 13:10 on Friday 16th June 2023. I was impressed with the film. Good action scenes, comedy and acting. The cgi was a little ropey at the beginning. Sasha as Supergirl did a great job. She is pretty too. Ezra as two different Barrys. It is just a shame with what happened outside of work. Good seeing Keaton, Sheen and Irons. Some cameos expected. Would have been nice foe Grant Gustin but because of availability it didn't happen. I know that they recast Henry. Good soundtrack. You could feel the emotion. The Speed Force was like if Sam Raimi had created it. The Flash is busy helping Batman save the city. Eventually he discovered what else he can do with his abilities. He goes back in time to save his mum being killed. A flash point is created. Things have changed for the worse. Sod has arrived to take over the world. Kara is being held prisoner. Bruce is retired. Barry needs the help he can get. There is a post credits scene though it isn't really important.Sasha Calle · Supergirl ; Ben Affleck · Batman ; Ezra Miller · Barry Allen ; Michael Keaton · Batman ; Michael Shannon · General Zod.

Just saw The Flash. It was better than I expected but still really fucking dumb. Spoilers and comments under the cut in the order that I remembered them in.
(also, I'm using he/him for the character Barry, but they/them for Ezra. Wanted to make that clear.)
The performances were generally pretty good - Ezra Miller had a few bad line deliveries but it wasn't constant or absurd
The first action scene was probably the dumbest but I think it had some cleverness. Barry puts a baby in a microwave. Yeah.
As far as I know, Reverse Flash is the one who killed Barry's mom in the comics but he didn't show up. We just never see the killer's face.
The multiverse shit was kinda dumb. It was kinda like The Mandela effect, where, when Barry saved his mom, he didn't start a new timeline in the same universe, he instead went to a different universe where his mom didn't die, so it had a different history, hence Michael Keaton Batman
Ben Affleck Bruce and Wonder Woman are both in it at the very beginning but never show up again.
I did really like the part where Bruce is fighting people and he grabs one of the criminals to keep him from falling off the bridge. You can really tell that Bruce is doing everything he can to keep this guy from dying, including putting himself in danger. I love that he wanted to save this criminal's life so much that he risked his own. It's a very powerful look at his refusal to kill - it's not just not killing him, he's saving him like he would for anyone else. I could write a whole essay on that one short scene that ends with a Deus ex Machina
Barry is canonically a virgin
They did a good job making the two Barrys look like they're different ages, but the age gap didn't seem as big as it was supposed to be (I was guessing 5-7 years)
I really liked how Kara was super weak and dying but after they get her outside and the sun shines in her she starts getting better immediately.
I don't get Kara's motivation to save humans. Like, she changed her mind way too quickly. Was it just because she saw Zod kill a bunch of humans? Was it because the US army wouldn't hand her over when she was in Russia?
I LOVED when Kara went absolutely wild beating the shit out of Zod when she found out Kal-El was dead (and Zod probably killed him)
I also like that this version of Kara wasn't like the CW Kara and was a genuinely angry and violent person. It was pretty hot.
This is nitpicky but Kara says there's no war on Krypton... Like, babe...
The cgi was fucking awful tho
The deepfakes and the babies and anyone who was kept frozen on screen looked so fake. Like, Bethesda character levels of fake.
Nic Cage had a cameo as Superman in an alternate reality and my brother and I lost our SHIT it was beautiful
I wish that the version of Barry who kept trying to save Kara and Bruce for like 50 years hadn't told Barry to go back in time. I think it took away some of the power with Barry making that decision himself. Like, I know Barry already knew that he had to go back, but that line made it feel like he was only doing it because he was told to.
I absolutely adored the fact that they incorporated the iconic Batman music during Keaton's scenes. I think it was overused a bit but I didn't mind since I love that song and it makes me think of the games.
Finally: I think their way of replacing Ezra Miller was actually pretty well done. They don't replace them in the movie, but instead they establish that Ezra Miller Barry is in a different universe. He's on the phone with Bruce who's about to pull up, then when Bruce gets out of the car, it's actually George Clooney. Since Ezra Barry is in the Clooneyverse, there's gonna be a different Barry in the Ben Affleck Batman universe. It's surprisingly smooth, well thought out, and makes a lot of sense.
There was a Vine star in it??? With like a small speaking role??? I recognized him but had to look his name up. It was Rudy Mancuso. He was fine.
Edit: holy shit I can't believe I forgot about Barry electrocuting bitches like fucking Palpatine

dans is just the ben affleck smoking meme sksksksk
suzy and inferno are besties. dear god.
dans: i have total faith in most of you *staring at inferno*
me and cam volunteer to watch inferno. dans also offers to get us a carriage since soupnik isnt here without undyne. dans takes cam with him to haggle for a carriage, and tori will use wildshape to be a honse.
giant wacky inflatable waving arm tube man. that is all.
cam fails to lower the price but dans does so cam is sad oh noes. and then goes eeby deeby cause addi is being gay.
a wood elf looks disappointed at the carriage? dans walks over (ITS GAIUS WTF) i offer him a ride. SIlvyr O'Hara, a woodelf druid, is his name. cam comes back from eeby deeby lol. why is gaius so british wtf. cam goes and gets everyone.
tori turns into a horse and we all get on and goooooo. dans takes the reins. sllvyr questions us lol.
(this whole session is fuckin wild its taken us like forever just to leave town)
inferno tries to leave since undyne isnt here so no curse? suzy looks so betrayed. sllvyr asks us about disasterious carriage rides. and hes worried about getting cursed with us now lol. also british is a swear word now lol.
inferno feels like hes been insulted.
sllvyr tells us about his old group. stopping kids from being kidnapped and enslaved. and his dead brother. (dans is very fucking attentive at this) we get some backstory pog. cam is confused how dans can relate to this (cause they were eeby deeby)
frog doesnt like the bad vibes so they start playing music. cam joins them. 'anyway heres wonderwall!' INFERNO GETS ATTACKED BY A GIANT VULTURE! he wins
we arrive at the town, its called Gersbavi and its full of halflings! dans hands the carriage over to sllbyr.
inferno sees something and follows it. TIGER. sadly inferno wins. then he gets attacked by a hippo and griffin.
dans and cam are going to find whoever is in charge to find where the monsters are. there isnt anyone but we get told about some bugbears. we go back and tell everyone and gather up and shit. (i then haunt the group with puns xD) cam is trying to teach the kids how to swear in bird. tori is stuck answering halfling kids questions. some kids say they saw a yellow lizard in a cabin up the mountain.
raz is finally back but moss said "no undyne cant be back i want you all to die." inferno shows up somehow. sllvyr shows up too. inferno keeps hissing at the kids and they hiss back.
time to fight some bugbears! 7 of them and 1 bugbear chief. dans carefully steps out and tries to converse with them. they say they got chased away from their den. dans offers to clear the den to make these guys leave. but we dont find anything. hmm sus. tori talks to the trees. they say there was a dark cloud and fighting noises.
so whatever it was left cool. we go back and let them know its safe. (addi goes eeby deeby) undyne leaves eeby deeby finally. the bugbears go home. (undyne is drax she doesnt understand metaphors omg) we go to check out the lizard thing!
we hop on soupnik to find the cavern. dans spots it so we land pog. we hear breathing inside. dans is very sneaky, but undyne is very loud and clunky lol. its a small dragon and a malformed kraken. the dragon is awake. we elect to just uh leave it alone. (moss told us they were gay and if we killed them a druid would show up and yell at us for killing them cause they wanted a family lol) frog sneaks inside to look at the dragon cause of course.
we ruined moss's plans all over! also jim shows up in town! for next session.

4D Reading Week 2 GIFs
I found the readings about GIFs this week very interesting. All of the information was new to me and I have never played with GIFs at all, other than to embed one into a text from my phone that showed emotion – like a celebratory “Yay!” or the one of Ben Affleck smoking a cigarette to show total exhaustion. 😊  or SNLs Molly Shannon kicking as Sally O’Malley, when I turned 50 a few years ago. It looks like it will be fun to experiment with this type of art that I never imagined doing.
I enjoyed the video “How Art Can Transform the Internet,” and how the “Kenosha kid” sentence continually changed with different meaning. I was moved by the last words of the death row inmates, especially the one that said, “I did not kill your loved one.” If true, that this person died and they were innocent, it breaks my heart. I also enjoyed looking at the video of XXO by M.I.A. The video was beautiful and I loved all the animated flowers. I enjoyed Toyin Odutola’s video about her drawings and the hands. Her art is incredible and I enjoyed watching her and appreciate her upbeat, positive attitude. I relate to the feelings she described when drawing – a sort of flow, peaceful state… that I long to find on this snowy afternoon. The slow moving GIFs from the Oakland barber shop were very cool and some of them force you to slow down and look hard because the movement is slow and subtle.

Batman: Under The Red Hood
“Batman: Under The Red Hood” is one of the many Batman animated movies that solidified who Batman truly is to my young teen self.
Batman is haunted by his greatest failure, the death of Jason Todd. Batman failed to save Jason, his second Robin, from a brutal beating from the Joker and an explosion that killed him. Five years later, a new villain called the Red Hood is taking control of Gotham’s drug empire. This catches the attention of Batman, who notices something familiar about him.
Everyone knows that Batman has one rule: to never kill. I mean, it’s a heroic trait that separates him from the evil that he constantly fights. At least, that’s what it’s thought to be. “Batman: Under The Red Hood” is an exploration of the victims of his rule. This movie asks the question: “Who is Batman’s rule really helping?”. Also, I know this movie is an adaptation of the comics, but I’m reviewing the movie, so try to talk about both, depending on whichever one helps highlight my point better. It’s cool to see how a fan-voted decision to kill off Jason Todd in the comics evolved into a seriously complex exploration of Batman’s character. This movie is short, but in 75 minutes, “Batman: Under The Red Hood” managed to capture the love Bruce had for Jason, the weight put on Bruce after the tragedy, and the ideological clash between the two in such a convincing way. Bruce Greenwood is an amazing voice actor the caped crusader, and that’s saying something considering Batman already has an iconic voice actor in Kevin Conroy. Greenwood is still able to sound exactly like the Batman I have always envisioned in my head. Jensen Ackles blew me away during this rewatch. Now that I have a more critical eye for performances, I can see that Ackles brought his A-game to this movie. The emotional moments hit that much harder because you can truly feel the tormented soul of Jason Todd through his performance. John DiMaggio is always a win in my book and I loved his take on the Joker. Although the comics did most of the heavy lifting in terms of the story, there are still choices made in this movie that sets it apart. I don’t mind the small change made in the final confrontation between Batman and Red Hood because it still works for me. It just conveys a different, but equally plausible reaction from Batman that doesn’t detract from the impact the scene was going for. The cherry on top of this amazing movie is the action. I crave to see this in live action one day, but the way Batman moves in his animated movies is the truest form of Batman in my opinion. Ben Affleck’s warehouse scene comes close, but I just need more of that in my life. If you know nothing about Batman, but want to know what all the hype is about, then I highly recommend you start with this movie. I guarantee it will make a fan out of you.

Batffleck and Battinson and Wednesday
Ok so let me explain. Batffleck is the Batman acted by Ben Affleck. And Battinson is the Batman acted by Robert Pattinson.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Battinson was hanging out with Batffleck they we talking about the bad guy's they have faced. Riddler Joker. All of them. Thankfully they are all where they belong. Until Wednesday texted. "Hello Bruce. It's Wednesday. I was wondering if you could make me another batering." Batffleck's phone beeped and he read the message. "No!!" He replied. Not showing any happiness or sadness. Just anger! "Is it Wednesday?" Battinson asked. "Yeah. Yes it is" Batffleck replied. Battinson started texting Wednesday saying that he could make her a batering since he has never made one for her yet. "Really? Your gonna make one batering for that little girl?" Batffleck said with confusion is his voice all the way! "Use the terms little and girl and I can guarantee your safety!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Wednesday said as both Battinson and Batffleck jumped. "How'd you get in here?" Both Batffleck and Battinson asked. "Simple. Hey Batfflack you should probably make your security more secure. Because it was easy for me to get in." Wednesday said as Batffleck nodded and said with. "My name is Batffleck/Bruce Wayne/Batman. Not Batfflack!" Batffleck said with upset ness in his voice. Oh gosh "And Batmobile I'm waiting on that Batering." Wednesday said as Battinson replied "You called me by one of my Vehicles name. Not by any of my real names." Battinson said. "Exactly" Wednesday replied and walked away
Batffleck Chapter Two
Batman didn't like it at all when Wednesday would sneak into his hide outs. Batman is just trying to chill just trying to stop bandits and stuff and Wednesday is interrupting him! Bruce Wayne Didn't like it one bit. But he had to live with it. Wednesday was a great friend! He had to admit. But he didn't like it of how she wanted so much batering's! Those take time to make! "Oh boy come c'mon. Yes!" Bruce was trying out an experiment and it worked. He was making a shrink ray and he did it well. "Ummm maybe I could try this against Wednesday?" He thought in his head all to himself. But he said "nah." He thought that would be a waste of time. And not just a waste of time. But also. Wednesday would be small and he would be upset because then he would have to make a make you bigger ray. And Wednesday would probably be mad! Yeah!!
Battinson Chapter Three
Batman 2 Was ok with it kinda. But what the competition was that they both could move very fast in the dark. Batman could also move very fast in light. Just a little slower then lighting. That fast!! Sometimes Bruce Wayne 2 thought he could go probably just a little slower. But he was a fully grown man. And Wednesday was a little girl! A-a teenager. 16 year old teenager. While Bruce 2 could go a little faster then Wednesday... . Bruce 2 just mostly beat her in strength. I mean in some versions of Batman he knew 12 martial arts. But in reality Batman actually knew 127 martial arts. Yeah that's a lot! I mean Wednesday was pretty strong too. She knew like 2 or 3 martial arts. I mean that's more then I know. No diff. Yeah!!!
Wednesday Chapter Four
Wednesday liked the batering's she got. It made her feel like a superhero fighter her self. But Wednesday kinda denied that feeling. She liked using them to scare people or to hurt bullies or bad guy's. But she never really felt like a hero. And also plus Batman from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. We actually find out that Batman in that trilogy isn't a hero. No. He's more of a sign of a guardian. A watchful protector. And Dark Knight. So yeah Wednesday didn't have to worry about that because Batman was not much of a hero either. I mean he was. But it's that Batman killed a lot of bad guy's I mean sure they were bad guy's but its just that what Batman was which was being Vigilante was going to get him in jail or prison if he wasn't being careful enough.
The End
Hey guys I'm sorry if it's short. I know I'm the worst.
