Streamer!Chuuya
Bungo Stray Dogs Chuuya Nakahara X Gender Neutral Reader Beginning Note: The stream clips are taken from RussainBadger on YouTube, he's really entertaining. Hint of Rockstar!Chuuya. Word Count: 1096 (Fluff/Little crack)
Of course, he’s very popular by the time he’s 22. All those streams about the new and trending topics eventually led to his popularity. Also the fact that he’s a rockstar, so that helped.
But back when he was 15, he didn’t have that reputation of a singer, and he started his streaming first before moving to a new occupation, but still maintaining the previous one.
He had very few viewers, and he was kinda cringe. But at least you were there!
(Background information now) You had befriended him in your freshman year of high school along with a guy named Dazai. The three of you had a lot of fun, the two guys always being chaotic and yelling at each other while you tried to calm them down.
Although you kinda got in trouble often, you still continued being stupid. You’ll grow out of it! (Debatable)
Chuuya had at some point expressed his goals of being a streamer or singer, so you and Dazai encouraged him to start with the former, so he did.
Initially, he did gameplays with commentary, but those games were first person shooters or anything online that included fighting in a team against another. Simply put, he raged a lot.
And now in the present, he still does, but it’s gotten a little more expressive since he doesn’t have anyone to scold him about what he’s saying aside from you.
He has a variety of content on his page now, like gameplays (still), just talking, random challenges, IRL streaming, etc. The different forms of entertainment really helps with maintaining his popularity.
Sometimes during streams, he would tell his viewers that he’s gonna do something for a minute until he returns. That minute is used to check on you.
“Are you hungry? We can order take out”, “You alright?”, “We can cuddle and watch a movie after I’m done”, all that is concluded with a kiss on your face.
You do like to mess with him sometimes. Sitting under his desk while he’s gaming and watching him (Just don’t screw his playthrough, he won’t talk to you for a while), going in his chat and sending a message (That shows up highlighted/on screen) about some chore he still has to do, and the like.
Anything harmless because you care about him and he appreciates that.
One time, you were making dinner and he suddenly started screaming loudly. You ensured the kitchen wouldn’t burn before knocking lightly on his door and asking if he was okay.
In response, he comes to the door and opens it a little. “Shit, sorry. Don’t worry, everything’s fine. I’ll make it up to you later,” and he takes your hand, placing a gentle kiss on it, then going back to his chair.
When he uploaded some clips of his stream to his channel on YouTube or the equivalent of the site, you saw that the reason for his scream was because he was arguing with a friend? And the microphone couldn’t capture the high volume so the yell came out quieter than it really was and the mic just cut off.
Another time, he was talking with his friends about something that had happened, and Dazai (who was playing with him, of course) just muted Chuuya’s mic midsentence. After that he went offline, ended the stream, and went to your shared bedroom to cuddle with you, pout on his face. He recounted what happened and you chuckled lightly, embracing him.
Eventually, his old streams from when he was in high school were found (He deleted the clips after saving them on a drive because they were precious memories) and uploaded.
The video included the time where he was playing a multiplayer game (Just Call of Duty, really) and there was an after death mic that allowed the dead player to say something for a second to their killer before respawning. The things he said included, “You’re so mean!”, “Hahah, pendejo!” (asshole in Spanish), “I don’t even wanna play anymore” (In a whiny voice. He said that to you and Dazai, but the mic was on.)
He barked at someone in the game results screen
At the discovery of his old streams, Chuuya panicked before laughing at them. Sure, they were embarrassing, but the comments loved it. He decided to upload the rest of his saved ones so everyone can enjoy them.
Akutagawa, his friend, sometimes play with Chuuya’s group, and when the former plays and does well, Chuuya just yells out “That’s my boy! THAT’S MY BOY! GAHDAM-” and he’s cut off. He’s a huge supporter for Aku and will cheer him on whenever he plays.
After his streams, Chuuya goes to spend time with you. It’s always wholesome and you both would never trade it for anything in the world. You scratch at his scalp while he buries his face in your chest, complaining about Dazai bullying him, or how he was getting dominated by the other players. He always has fun things to tell to you.
What you always love is that while on stream, he seems tough, loud, and in general very entertaining. But when he’s alone with you, no cameras or anything, he’s so soft and cute. Just your cute little boyfriend.
Although he can catch you off guard with his loudness, he always apologizes and makes you forget it. Despite the two of you sharing the fact that you’re both in a relationship, there’s still people prying into his life, wanting to know more. Chuuya did say that it may be uncomfortable, but you still have a large support system consisting of his fans.
A couple of his streams include you. Mainly the IRL ones, but you sometimes join him in his games. The viewers love seeing you two together and always request for more of you.
Sometimes, he practices with his guitar on stream, playing any requests from viewers, and you’re off to the side and out of the camera’s view. If there’s ever a romantic song, he dedicates it to you. A lot of love songs are asked for.
Going back to streams with Aku, he once had a coughing fit while on mic, and someone rigged it to have a voice effect. His coughs were so screwed up, it just sounded like a weird echo into the abyss.
Overall, he’s very fun to be with. You’re blessed to be the one he trusts to show his soft side to. Anyone who’s able to be his friend at least is lucky to have that title (at least in the present time).
End Note: Here are the clips used

Ethan calls out xQc for ‘taking attention and views’ from creators with react videos
Tumblr media
Recently, XQc faced fire for reuploading YouTube videos from producers as response content, and Ethan called him out in a live debate. When H3 Podcast's Ethan Klein claimed that xQc's react videos were stealing from YouTubers, xQc claimed he was assisting them by showcasing their work with his name in order to "make something good happen." Ethan disagreed. “You litterally do it to enrich yourself. You’re not creating anything big for anyone. You’re just taking attention and views for yourself and you don’t give a fuck about the consequences,” he said in a podcast from Aug. 7. “It’s not your decision to make that for other people’s property.” https://twitter.com/h3h3productions/status/1688743211349823488 In the podcast, Ethan said he talked to YouTuber Vince Vintage and considered him as victim of his reacts. “He really just steals my shit,” the content creator reportedly said to Ethan. “The problem isn’t the reacting, it’s the reupload of my video with his face on the thumbnail.” XQc said he would apologize to him and pay him, if he came forward. “I’d be more than happy to give him ten times whatever damage that’s caused,” he answered Ethan in the podcast. At the end of July, xQc received backlash from YouTubers he used content from. On July 28, content creator Bub Games blamed him for sharing his video live without adding any commentary value. Then, he posted it as a VOD on YouTube, thus diverting a part of his audience. The YouTuber was followed by others over the following days. The debate on the H3 Podcast lasted almost two hours and progressively escalated until xQc and Ethan insulted each other personally. It pushed the latter to cut the debate short, without them reaching any agreement on the copyright matter. Twitch streamer HasanAbi, who often does react content, watched the podcast on his Twitch channel and added his opinion on the issue. Hasan said he was making sure he didn’t harm content creators when making react content, but also that he couldn’t always know when he did so. “It ultimately comes down to the reupload to YouTube and whether that individual content creator likes that you reacted to their videos or not,” he said. “They can’t DMCA me because I don’t upload it to my YouTube channel and they won’t make a fuss about it because … they don’t want additional problems.” He was referring to the example of Vince Vintage, who complained about xQc’s react videos to Ethan, but not to xQc. For Ethan, it’s due to the fact nobody wants to be at war with xQc and make themselves a target to his audience. Under xQc’s react videos, users can read a mention in the description that allows people who “own copyrighted materials” in the video to contact the editor if they want it to be removed. It’s unclear what’s the process if they do so, however. Legally, users have the right to issue copyright claims on videos that use their content without their consent. But the process might be long, and while it can be simple to get a video demonetized, it might be trickier to get it removed. Still, react content has been growing on streaming platforms for a while now, and it shows no signs of slowing down. XQc’s reaction livestreams are highly popular. Clips of his react streams have been among the most-watched in Twitch’s Just Chatting category over the last seven days. Read the full article

Tumblr media
The sound of a new donation message coming in pulled you away from your game for a split second. The automated voice read the message out to you: “are there any influencers that you are totally crushing on right now?”
You chuckle to yourself as you turn back to your game. “You guys really wanna start something, huh? You realize this will be trending within an hour if I say anything.”
You glanced over at your chat to see they were begging you to tell them who your influencer crush was. You had mentioned a few times that there was a fellow influencer that you had a crush on, but you refused to admit who it was (for obvious reasons). Your viewers, however, were determined to find out who this mystery man you liked was.
“We promise we’ll keep it a secret,” you read, managing to catch one message before it disappeared into the void of never ending messages. “I don’t believe you guys at all.”
You laughed as you watched the chat blow up again. You finally paused your game and made your face cam bigger for the audience. “Okay, you know what? Fuck it, there’s no way he’ll ever see this and I’m not big enough of a content creator to have articles written about me. My influencer crush is Noen Eubanks. If you don’t know who he is, look him up on TikTok and you’ll totally understand why I have such a crush on him.”
Your chat went absolutely wild at this. You went back to playing your game, smiling to yourself as you did so. It felt nice to get that off of your chest, and you knew you were about to get a kick out of your fan’s reactions to this.
Like you said, you had no fear of Noen actually finding out what you said. You had a bit of a following, but it was nothing too big. Just enough that you could be classified as “Internet famous”, but not enough that admitting you had a crush on someone else who had a much bigger following than you would be a big deal.
Or so you thought.
After your stream, you decided to go right to bed. You were feeling tired and had to get up early to edit the video you were planning on uploading. You weren’t awake to witness the internet absolutely explode over your comment, but lucky for you it was still happening when you woke up the next morning.
When you checked your phone for the first time that day, you noticed that your notifications had blown up over night. You figured it was just your fans teasing you over your crush on Noen, which it partly was, but you noticed that it was also YouTube news Twitter accounts and internet tabloid accounts tagging you in their articles about your crush on Noen.
“Oh no,” you said, your eyes widening as you read through article after article, tweet after tweet.
Before you knew it, you had spent nearly two hours sat on the floor, reading through everything that mentioned both you and Noen. All the articles were the same: an brief introduction to you and your small Twitch/YouTube following, talking about you admitting to having a crush on Noen the night before, and asking whether the reading audience believed that you and Noen would make a good couple or not.
The reactions from fans were as entertaining as you figured - with many of your fans trying to come up with ship names for you and Noen and tagging him in clips from your stream - but then there were the less than entertaining reactions. Many people, whether they were Noen’s fans or just people who wanted to hate on you you weren’t sure, were saying you had mentioned Noen’s name just for clout, or that your “crush” was nothing more than an infatuation over his looks.
It wasn’t until your phone rang that you were finally pulled out of your trance and back to the real world. Your friend’s name lit up on your screen, and it took you a moment to collect yourself before you answered.
“(Y/N), have you been online yet today?” she asked.
You sighed and nodded, then remembered she couldn’t actually see you. “Yeah, I’ve been scrolling for the past two hours on Twitter.”
“You haven’t checked your Twitch page, or YouTube account yet?”
Your eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. “No? Should I?”
“You definitely should.”
You put her on speaker and switched to your Twitch app. You were shocked to see that you had skyrocketed in subs overnight, same with your YouTube page. You had gained a solid ten thousand subscribers on both platforms, and it was still rising by the second.
“So this situation has gained me more subscribers, who cares? That’s not why I talked about Noen on stream,” you said.
“Oh no, honey. It isn’t just the situation that has given you new subscribers. Go check Noen’s Twitter.”
You knew what she was implying, but you had to see it for your own eyes. You immediately opened the Twitter app again and typed in Noen’s name. You were brought to his Twitter page, where his most recent tweet was a link to the clip from your stream along with a caption that read, “When your internet crush calls you *their* internet crush”.
You covered your mouth in shock. You were sure you were about to start screaming, but you were so speechless that you couldn’t force any sounds from your mouth.
“I’m assuming by the silence that you’ve seen it,” your friend said after a prolonged moment of silence.
“D-Did he just c-call me his...?” you trailed off, unable to finish your sentence.
“He did,” your friend confirmed. “And both of your fans are going wild. They’ve already come up with a ship name for you, which isn’t the most clever name but I admire their spirit.”
You could barley hear what your friend was saying. You were still staring at the tweet in disbelief. Your mind could barley comprehend anything else besides the fact that your online crush thought the same as you. You were trying to tell yourself not to get too worked up, as it was most likely that nothing was going to come from this besides some gossip for a week or more, but your heart was still racing with excitement.
You gasped as a notification popped up on the top of your screen: “@/eubanks_noen is requesting to message you”.
“He’s trying to DM me,” you whisper, so silently that you could barley hear yourself.”
“What?”
“He’s trying to DM me! On Twitter!”
“What are you doing talking to me?! Go answer his DM!”
You were too focused to laugh as you hung up the phone and went into your DMs. The familiar profile picture that you saw almost every day on your timeline was the first thing you saw in your message requests. Your whole body was shaking so much that you could barley see the screen as you pressed to open it.
“hi :)”
It was a very simple message, but it was enough to make your heart race even more.
You were debating on messaging back, wondering if maybe this was a fake account or something. But you knew there was only one way to find out for sure, so you took a deep breath and responded.
“hi! :)”
His response came near seconds later: “so...we’re the internet’s hottest power couple, huh?”
You chuckled to yourself. “i guess we are. sorry if i ruined your mentions last night. i didn’t think it would blow up the way it has. i’m not all that famous online.”
“are you kidding me? you’re like one of the best twitch streamers. i’ve watched every single one of your streams, including last night’s”
You felt your face heating up, but a slight groan of embarrassment came from your lips. You were thinking of all the embarrassing things you had said and done on stream, and now wished you could just melt into the floor or erase the entire internet.
“oh that’s embarrassing. i’d say i’m not that awkward and dumb in real life, but i’m actually more so”
“i wouldn’t say you’re awkward or dumb at all. i think you’re adorable”
“Oh my God!” you exclaimed to no one in particular. If your face got any hotter, it would be on fire.
“you really know how to talk to a girl”
“i really don’t, but i’m glad you’re enjoying my attempts to flirt”
“so you’re flirting? never would’ve known”
“i know, it’s hard to tell. i’m trying to be subtle”
You continued to message Noen for a while. It felt so natural, as if you weren’t talking to someone you had been crushing on for about a year now. You were extremely glad you weren’t coming off as awkward as you normally felt.
Finally, after having been sat on the floor for a good three hours, your back began to ache and your stomach was growling so loudly in attempts to get your attention. You realized then that you had put getting breakfast on hold in order to fall deep into the hole of internet gossip that had surrounded you overnight.
“love talking to you and all, but i’m gonna have to go for a little bit. i’ve been sat on the floor basically since i woke up and i haven’t eaten yet today so my stomach is very upset with me”
“why are you on the floor? 😂”
“when i’m stressed i tend to sit down no matter where i am, and i was very stressed to see my name plastered all over social media this morning”
“why were you stressed over that?”
“it’s not something i’m exactly used to. like i said, i’m not overly famous online. i just have a small following. i’m not someone who has an article written about every little thing she says. also like i said, i didn’t expect you to see me admit that i have a crush on you last night, so i was so worried about what your reaction was going to be”
“i guess i can understand that. i haven’t had a lot written about me. i’m not a big tiktoker like some of my friends are, but i guess that’s a blessing”
You started to type another message, but paused when you saw the three dots from Noen indicating that he was typing something else.
“for what it’s worth, i’ve had a internet crush on you since you first started streaming”
Your jaw dropped at this. You had started streaming months before you even knew about Noen, which meant he had known about you before you knew about him. Just when you thought this day couldn’t get any better.
“wow! that’s quite a while. you must be one of my first subscribers then”
“i’m up there i think. i’ll wear that badge with pride”
The three dots again. You waited anxiously to see what he was about to say.
“i liked getting to talk to you today, though. maybe we could talk offline sometime, like through text or phone call. maybe meet in person eventually”
Your smile was so wide that it hurt your cheeks. “yeah, i’d really like that”
You exchanged phone numbers and added his to your contacts. You finally pulled yourself off the floor and started making a super late breakfast while also starting to edit your next video since you had also gotten such a late start on that.
You were putting your food on a plate when your phone chimed, indicating a new text message.
“btw, it’s nice to finally get to meet you internet crush :)”
“it’s nice to get to meet you, too, internet crush”
You sat at the table, your heart feeling warm. And to think, it all came true thanks to one nosy donation.
Not sure how much I like this imagine, but I hope you enjoyed anyways!

Flirty!Corpse x Flirty!Male!Reader [Fluff?]
[I don't feel comfortable giving Corpse a real name, so in every one shot you would refer to him as "Corpse" or any other pet name.]
(Okay, for the channel name think of something that could have a nickname for you, mine would be JeyK and Corpse would call me Jey, but if you want you can make it as if he calls your real/oc name.)
Masterlist
A sigh left my mouth as I finished uploading a video playing Party Animals with some of my friends. I leaned back on my chair, thinking about what my subscribers had been asking me.
My best friend has a channel on Twitch and he had been talking about me to his viewers, saying something along the lines of 'he has such a deep and sexy voice... I'm kinda gay for him, honestly.'
It made me laugh I'm not going to lie, but I also felt really insecure about my voice, again. Even more now that people had been asking for a voice reveal, which was making me extremely anxious. It's been almost a year since I started my YouTube channel, and I had quite a big number of subs, but it wasn't massive, mainly because I did gameplays and that's it.
And that's what has been stressing me out.
So I was debating whether I should do it or not.
But for now, I grabbed my phone and checked Twitter, people were already commenting about the gameplay while others were asking for a voice reveal. A few groups of people were wondering how my voice sounds like, clipping what my friend said and comparing me to Corpse Husband.
Do I know Corpse? Hell yeah, I do. I've been a fan for way too long, and somehow he was partially the reason why I started my channel. Playing videogames is what I love the most, so I just... recorded it. Never excepted that people would actually enjoy them.
And very, very recently, I started to get tagged with Corpse on Twitter asking for us to play Among Us together, mainly because in my videos I had "big brain" strats, so they wanted to watch us as imposters or whatever. And I kinda wanted to play with him, but I was way too nervous and anxious to actually ask him.
So while I wondered if I should pm him or not, I turned off my computer and went to bed.
The next morning I checked my channel and the majority of the comments were people begging for an Among Us video with Corpse. A signature thing I do in my videos, is let people decide what I should play next, and that's what I've been doing ever since I started.
And as I read every single comment, I thought 'fuck it,' I grabbed my phone, opened Twitter and sent Corpse a quick message. Obviously, I wasn't expecting him to answer me right away, so I almost screamed when my phone dinged in my hand.
Basically, the conversation was something along the lines of me asking him if we could play something together -without recording it- as pretty much everyone had been asking us to, and he agreed. We set up a time to play and we spent the rest of the time talking.
I guess, my trust on him exploded thru the ceiling because I told him about this "voice reveal" everyone wanted me to do, and I asked him if I should do it not. Personally, I was really stressed and scared because I thought people were going to hate my voice or whatever, but at the same time, I want to do it, that's how I explained it to Corpse.
He understood me completely. What I wasn't expecting, was him asking me to send him an audio of my voice. I was really nervous about that, and he pretty much noticed it, my voice was so fucking shaky...
Then I saw the three bubbles appear on the screen and my body started to tremble.
Oh, believe me. No one would be mad or hate your voice, trust me.
Well, that's was unexpected.
//////
Ever since that one day, Corpse and I grew closer, maybe too close because at times we would "flirt" or whatever -it was funny because we called each other 'baby' really often-, we talked everyday, like, he actually gave me his phone number which was absolutely insane. We discussed the fact of how would I reveal my voice, and Corpse told me he knew how.
At the moment, he was streaming Among Us, and I was watching it, enjoying the stream as always, until James Charles had to leave, and Corpse talked first.
"I can get one person if you guys want," he said in slightly excited voice, and everyone else playing got curious about that.
"Who is it, Corpse?" That was Sean, aka Jacksepticeye.
"Uh, (Channel Name)," after he said that, I froze.
And my phone dinged. God, this was his plan?
You up to play among us and reveal your voice?
I chucked as I heard him explaining my "situation", how I wanted to do a voice reveal because people have been asking me to, and this was a good opportunity, adding the small "He's a good imposter, by the way."
;Fuck yeah, dude.
I quickly closed the stream and got my recording set up, plugging the microphone I bought recently. I took a deep breath as I opened Discord and the game. Corpse invited me to join the call and I put on my headphones.
I was so fucking nervous as my finger hovered above the unmute button, but first, I joined the game as I saw he code in chat.
"He's here... (N/n), can you hear us?"
This is my chance.
I pressed the unmute button and answered.
"Yes... yes, I can." A huge chorus of 'Wow's' echoed in the call and everyone started freaking out about my voice. It scared me, "Wh-what's wrong with my voice...?"
"Oh, (N/n), there's nothing wrong with your voice." Sean's words were reassuring, making me smile slightly.
"It makes me happy to hear that, Sean." I was sure I could hear him mumbling an 'Oh God,' which made me confused.
"How can your voice be deep than Corpse's? It's... fucking hot, dude," Felix's (Pewdiepie) words made me feel my face heat up but I just laughed it off.
"His voice makes me gay, I'm not even going to deny it," okay... I wasn't ready to hear that from Corpse, "I would marry him just so I could head his voice everyday."
"Well, I would marry you, baby, so I guess it could be official." I could faintly hear how the rest were going like 'What is happening?' Or something, but I was just concentrated listening to Corpse laughing, "Your laugh is freaking adorable, babe~," I said in a teasing tone, which made him try to stop his laugh, turning into a shy giggle.
"... am I the only one that feels like a third wheel right now?" Sean chucked at the end of his words, and pretty much everyone agreed with him.
"Shouldn't we started the game?" I asked after everyone calmed down, and they said 'yes,' right before the game started.
"My chat is broken..." Corpse said as the round was about to start, I could hear Sean, Valkyrae, Felix, Sykkuno and Pokimane muttering 'same,' adding the fact that everyone was "simping" over my voice. "I'm the number one simp, guys, sorry but that place is already mine."
"Oh god..." I mumbled to myself as Corpse's voice sounded so serious. Well, I am a simp for him too tho.
"(N/n) is mine, back off," a laugh left my mouth as I felt my face burning with embarrassment.
But I decided to go along. "Yes, baby, I'm all yours~."
"Could you flirt some other time, guys? We're trying to play," Everyone laughed at Felix's statement, but we agreed to what he said, and we began an intense Among Us play.

YouWatch
This is a conversation topic that came up playing Overwatch last night; What if the Overwatch cast all has YouTube channels?
And while we voiced our opinions and debated to eachother, I feel the need to share all of my own takes as well.
Now, there’s 32 of these assholes so I’ll put it under the cut. Cause it’s long
Ana
Her channel is called “Grandma reacts”
Her viewers send her videos or shows to react to
She likes to have Jack, Gabe, Rein, and Torb on sometimes for some of the funnier videos
Hates daredevil compilations of people on high places with no safety gear
She swears at jump scares
Ashe
Daily vlogs
She calls her viewers part of the gang
BOB is the camera man and the crowd favorite
She mostly just likes to chat about nothing while wandering around the hide out
BOB makes really cool time lapses of them riding her bike down Route 66
Baptiste
Runs an advice channel
Mostly does Q&A live streams
All of his ad revenue goes to local charities and hospitals
People sometimes donate to him and that also goes to charity
There’s a very slim chance he got overnight famous because he’s so pretty
Bastion
One 12 minute video of him playing with Ganymede in Torbjorn’s backyard
Torbjorn recorded it for him
Brigitte
Tried to do a make-up channel
Eventually devolved into a “How to” builder’s channel
Can put together an Ikea bookshelf in 15 minutes without even glancing at the instructions
Ikea furniture speed runs are her most popular videos
D.Va
Canonically already has a gaming channel
Also has a daily vlog channel where she hangs out with Lucio and Junkrat a lot
Takes requests on what games she plays
Despite mainly being an online PvP gamer, she adores playing story games and voice acting
She cried on live stream when she finished Undertale
Doomfist
Runs Talon’s official YouTube channel
All the videos are join Talon adds
Echo
Her channel is a mash
Will play or do any kind of video that’s popular at the moment
There’s three episodes of a Minecraft LP left to die
Seven vlogs all recorded almost 3 months apart
Two animations she made herself
A couple of reaction videos
And a Pachimari unboxing
She has a lot of sponsors
Genji
Also, canonically, has a gaming channel
Sometimes does videos of sick ninja tricks in his backyard
Has the same channel from before his fight with Hanzo, so there’s a 4-5 year gap between two videos
“So my brother tried to kill me” is the first video he makes when he finally comes back
Occasionally makes “Master reacts to (anime)” videos with Zenyatta
Hanzo
The show off channel
It’s mostly just target practice with his bow and arrow Genji recorded for him
90% of his comments are telling him to put a shirt on and cover the nipple
His channel also went dead after he killed Genji
Might start recording and uploaded unscheduled vlogs during his hobo days
Also does movie reviews
Junkrat
If I may defer your attention to this post
Yeah he just runs a demolition channel
Roadhog makes sure the camera doesn’t get damaged
Junkrat really loves the slow motion effect
Lucio
Like Hana, he has two channels
One is his official music channel with music videos and concert clips
The other is also a vlog channel where he hangs out with Hana and Jamie
He’ll also talk about serious issues and his opinions on them on his second channel
McCree
Much like Hanzo, runs a show off channel
His is more popular because he’s straight up a cowboy though
People think it’s a gimmick for the channel. They have no idea he looks and sounds like that all the time
Mei
Has a scientific fact of the day Podcast with Winston
Talks about big issues
Her channel is very kid friendly and she explains things like global warming in a way they can understand
A lot of her videos will be watched by kids in science class
Mercy
“What to do encase of an emergency” tutorial videos
Gives basic medical training, like how to do CPR
Her videos are short and to the point so they can be played in an actual emergency
Genji is usually the person she uses as an example
Moira
Her channel is like Junkrat’s but more contained(?)
She does dangerous shit with chemicals but somehow it always ends wholesomly
The last minute of the video she speaks in a soothing Bob Ross voice as the lab is on fire behind her
The videos typically end with Angella coming back from her break
Orisa
It’s technically Efi’s channel
It’s a vlog to record Orisa’s progress tword becoming Numbani’s protector
Very popular, everyone loves how wholesome Orisa is
The money from the ads goes to fixing whatever Orisa breaks while trying to be helpful
All rude comments are deleted
Pharah
Show off channel
“99 dunks in a row” and such types of videos
They’re typically sped up with relaxing music
Lucio has appeared to play soccer with her a few times
Reaper
As Gabriel Reyes he ran a prank channel around the Overwatch base
He didn’t do any pranks that hurt or scared people though
Just recorded himself eating vanilla pudding out of a mayo jar to get people’s reactions
His favorite people to prank were Jesse and Genji because they had the most over the top reactions
Reinhardt is unprankable
The channel died with the fall of Overwatch
Reinhardt
Advice channel but louder than Baptiste
He’s full of energy in every one of his videos
Calls himself his viewer’s Grandpa
If anyone comes to him for advice on how to handle abuse of any kind he will adopt them on the spot
Also does meme reactions, sometimes has to have Brigitte explain what makes it funny
Has one video where he speaks quietly called “Grandpa reads a bedtime story” and it’s literally just him reading a bedtime story with soft music in the background
Roadhog
Toy unboxings
All of his videos are silent aside from the cute music he puts of them
The only part of him that’s ever on camera are his hands
Sigma
All his videos devolve into rambles about the universe
Other than that his channel doesn’t have a real theme
He tries to explain scientific principals but quickly turns into a shouting mess about the universe and gravity
Moira is the one to stop recording in the middle of his breakdowns
Soldier 76
Use to run a tutorial channel
Gabe called it “Dad Teaches you” and Jack hates that he’s not your father
He teaches you to cook basic meals and do simple repairs on a car
He talks in a very fatherly voice
Begrudgingly, he became his veiwers father
His channel died with Overwatch as well
Sombra
Gaming channel, but hacked
Does glitched speedruns on live stream
Clickbait thumbnails and titles
“How to get 1,000,000,000 free V-Bucks in Fortnite”
Steals kid’s Fortnite accounts
Symmetra
Stim channel
All of her videos focus on satisfying visuals
Someone asked her to do ASMR once and she hated it. The video existed for less than 24 hours
Torbjorn
Like Brigitte, runs a builder channel
It also doubles as a story time channel as he tends to ramble about the good old days
All his videos are 30+ minutes long
Somehow adds “and that’s how I lost my eye” to every story so no one knows how it actually happened
Bastion guest appears in a lot or Torb’s videos but only because he’s bored and wants attention
Tracer
Animated story telling
Makes animations of their missions and her day-to-day life
Thanks to her chronal accelerator animations take half as long
Still only uploads like two videos a month
Widowmaker
Food review videos
Hates everything, nothing gets high marks
Gets view ship cause she’s hot and very snarky
Winston
His channel is exactly like Mei’s
It’s more popular though because he’s a monkey and thus draws kid’s attention better
All of his viewers are elementary school science teachers and their class
Wrecking Ball
Tried to do a builder channel but all the comments were on how cute he is
Hates being called cute so he made his mech say swear words
He’s very popular with little boys
Also loves destruction and may destroy things for fun
“5000lbs wrecking ball VS Junkrat’s house”
Zarya
Vlogs but like... Work out vlogs.
It’s just time lapses of her at the gym
Insanely popular with lesbians for very obvious reasons
Encourages her viewers to take care of themselves and start slow
Blew a kiss at the camera once, became the most used image of her on the internet
Zenyatta
Most of his videos are relaxing music over beautiful visuals he recorded
The other half of his videos are meditation leadings and yoga
He’s also done videos on the omnic crisis and talked in length on his belief for the future
Has one video of him pranking Genji

(Video summaries)
Onision Sets The Record Straight - Speaks July 4, 2020
I want to note that he’s been saying his new videos aren’t monetized, but he played two of his songs in this video, so the video was claimed by his music publisher on behalf of him. So, he is making money off he the video. I don’t think this was an accident. He knows the copyright claiming system on Youtube very well. I’m very sure this overrides his “ads go to charity.”
- Starts the live upset he was talking for a while and he wasn’t live the whole time. - He reads a tweet about someone saying Shiloh accusing Nicholas Deorio. Says Shiloh is crazy. Says he made a song about how she wouldn’t stop lying. (He plays the song and sings along at some parts.) - He thanks someone for donating to Feed America. - He says one of Shiloh’s ex made a video about how he ended up in jail because of her bullshit, but he got out because he showed a text where she said he was going to put a knife in his chest. Says that’s scary violent shit. Says he calls the cops frequently on her. - He made the music video after his own fans told him she was cheating. She was bragging about fucking a guy on Facebook. - (Sings more of his song.) Says she would threaten to kill herself every time he broke up with her and she introduced him to her split personality Aliana. - Says he thought he could ignore mental illness and people with mental illness deserve a chance just like everyone else, but you’re not a doctor and love can’t overcome all. - He said he tried to tell a story about Shiloh to Nicholas DeOrio and he kicked him. He pretends to be a hero but he’s not. Says you have to watch out for people who pretend to be the hero because they wind up being villains. They do things for them self and not because they care about people. Like Hansen, Shiloh, Sarah, Edwin, etc. Says this is why you see go fund me’s and DeOrio collecting donations and adsense. They all pretend to be heroes but they’re all getting paid. - Says this stream is for charity and he’s not collecting a paycheck from this shit. He says it’s set up for ads and donations go to charity. That’s how you know you can trust him and know he’s not full of shit.
( I want stop right here and point out he played two of his songs during this stream. Because of this, the video was claimed by his music publisher on behalf of him. Usually when someone or an entity claims a video, they get full control over the monetization of the video. I’m sure this overrides his “ads go to charity” and he knew this when he played his songs during the stream.
Tumblr media
While he was streaming, I would guess that the donations and any ads that played probably went to the charity, but after the video was processed and claimed, I believe any ads from that point on will go to the music publisher and Onision will get his 80% cut of the ad revenue.
He also played the other version of the Banana Song in his previous charity livestream as an intro song, but I don’t think he played it long enough for it to get claimed. On this stream, he played it longer so it worked. I don’t remember him ever playing intro songs on a stream before this. In this video, he complained he didn’t know he wasn’t streaming and interrupted a conversation he was having with his discord to play the intro song. After the song, the continued their conversation. I believe he purposefully got the streams claimed. )
- Tells viewers to tells Hansen and DeOrio to donate all the money they made off the drama to charity and says they won’t because they’re greedy motherfuckers. He says he’s trying to manipulate them into donating to charity by putting them between a rock and a hard place. Either they prove he’s right by not donating, or they donate. - He laughs about the confused man in the background of his music video. - Says keemstar doesn’t pretend to give a shit, unlike the “bitch-ass motherfuckers” repzion, edwin, hansen who pretend to give a shit. He calls them dochey-ass white bitch-boys, white knights and asks why they are all white. Keemstar is honest and brags about how much money he makes off this drama. - James says he chose the charity Feeding America because he was a poor kid. Says his mom was single, his dad was a child molester, he temporarily had a stepdad but his mom apparently caught him making them pray “I love you Satan” to a TV because he had a problem with TV. Says his stepdad was also a hardcore pot head and it was illegal at the time. Says you can’t debate hunger, that’s why he chose the charity. Says he could donate to RAINN, but that would look like he’s trying to compensate for something.  - Says he’ll collect ads on Social Repose. (I’m guessing he claimed SR’s recent Onision’s Patreon video?) - Says DeOrio was demonizing Hansen, but DeOrio was making money off it. Says DeOrio said they can’t talk about Shiloh or Sarah because he didn’t want to make profit off of them or he didn’t want to bring attention to them, he doesn’t remember which one. Says they aren’t even real victims and they are collecting money. Calls DeOrio dumb ass, white knight, dumb shit. - Says John Swan recorded the pierce county police, but he won’t play it because he doesn’t know if John Swan legally recorded them. Says it’s the county saying there is no investigation on him, says Hansen backpedaled and said there’s a process. Says he’s not a real journalist because he just went in a room and talked to predators. Says there’s articles about Hansen getting involved with an intern who was 13 years younger than him. - He plays a clip from his debate with the Newsweek guy. Says this guy sided with his father. Says his sisters were subjected to his father’s disgusting behavior, according to other people. Says the Newsweek guy was fired. All your heroes are dying right in front of you. He told you guys these guys were phonies. - Says Repzion raised $20,000 for legal fees, but he kept the money and bought a Gucci bag. Says that’s fraud. [definition of fraud on screen] Says the wetlands aren’t destroyed, they look awesome. Repzion made money saying James went to court for the wetlands. but he never went to court. Repzion bragged about how he payed off his welding class with the wetlands video money. Says Repzion also tweeted a photo with his girlfriend. They went to Victoria’s Secret and his girlfriend said “thanks for the panties Onision.” Says if he made a hate video about Andy Biersack, then bought a dildo with it, then tweeted about it, that means he’s going to be thinking about Andy whenever he uses it. Says that means whenever Repzion’s girlfriend wears these panties she’s going to think about Onision. He says he thinks Repzion wanted to be cucked. Says allegedly they broke up and she says she was 12 when they first talked and he told her to come back when you’re 18. - Says you die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Says that’s because if you pretend to be a white knight and act like you’re better than everyone else, you wind up like Repzion, Hansen, and himself. Says you know he’s honest because he was honest about where the money is going (lol) and because he’s also willing to be critical of himself. - James says when he rejects people he’s also mean about it. He does it in a mean way. Says when someone is rejected in real life, they tell people that person was a piece of shit because that’s how they deal with it. Says if Shane rejected you, you would go online and say you were traumatized and call him a predator because you can’t handle rejection. - (He spends the resp of the stream chatting with his Discord. He mostly repeats himself. I’ll only write new info.) - He says the pretend victims said they aren’t going to be on the investigation show. Says this is because they don’t want to be found out to be fake victims. - Says if the video is monetized after the stream, the adsense money will go to charity. - Someone asks what “Techno Pornstar” mean. He says that means he makes electronic music and he makes porn.
deleted my account - Jul 8, 2020, Speaks
Re-upload of his twitter video announcing his free Only Fans account had to be removed. He never announced his free account to Youtube so idk why he uploaded the update video there.

Alright. So I've seen this several times on tumblr, and once on Facebook. It's also viral on Twitter. If you've seen it, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Basically some white lady named Joanna with a "may I speak to you manager" haircut detailed the alt-right pipeline that many young white men often find themselves in (admittedly well).
Her proposed solution to how you should deal with it as a parent though SUCKED. She basically said to stalk their social media to make sure they're not posting or sharing those edgy memes that dogwhistle far right talking points and force them to sit down and watch John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, and other corporate hack comedians who are often clueless and out of touch. I guarantee that if you're a parent with a son having these issues, it will backfire. The communities on reddit and 4chan that they go on in private browsing when you aren't monitoring them will tell your son that the (((media))) you are making them watch are cultural marxists and that cultural marxism is actively killing white people and western civilization.
You will not convince them otherwise. The alt-right kids become emotionally attached to their beliefs. They not only believe with their hearts that what they've been told online is true, they think that the cherry picked and out of context stats that they have confirm their worldview. If you try to argue against those bad stats yourself, they will just believe that your own (((sources))) are biased. You and the corporate media do not have the optics or the capability to deradicalize them. It's a harsh and disappointing truth. That doesn't mean it's hopeless though.
I'd highly recommend that you introduce them to people like Twitch streamer Stephen Bonnell who goes by Destiny. He's also got a YouTube channel that uploads replays and clips from streams that he does. Destiny is socially very progressive and "woke", but he at the same time, he has a personality and can use language that an edgelord kid can relate to. He's debated many internet celebrities such as JonTron and Lauren Southern whom your kid probably knows about and with great success. He's very good at defeating alt-right arguments.
Another person whom I'd recommend for similar reasons is YouTuber Streamer Vaush. He's not as famous, and has not debated famous people. But again, he is very good at engaging and defeating alt-right and reactionary viewpoints, and he does so with extreme charisma, and he uses language and optics that your kid will relate to. Eh. Hope that helps.

The third season of Norwegian teen series Skam dismantled stereotypes, coerced schoolkids into skiving off classes and turned homophobes into rainbow flag-waving defenders—and it first began airing one year ago today. It was the “gay” season, charting the blossoming relationship of Isak Valtersen and Even Bech Næsheim, both coming to terms with their sexuality amidst a cutting background of teenage angst. Taking every fan poll I’ve ever come across into account, season three was by far Skam’s most popular. It broke streaming records in Norway, and television viewership records in neighboring Denmark and Sweden. Throughout its 10-episode run, it hardly left the list of worldwide trending topics on any given social platform. With a short promo clip that could have been a stand in for a gay snuff film—jockish throbs in a locker room being showered with milk in slow motion—the series wasn’t afraid to shy away from explicitly homosexual subject matter. Or any hot button subject. Homophobia, bullying, mental health—nothing was off the cards for series creator Julie Andem. Only a few episodes deep and the series’ popularity reached a fever pitch. Its progressive narrative rested squarely on the sinewy backs of two hunky young actors. Tarjei Sandvik Moe, 18, and Henrik Holm, 22, who embodied these characters for several short years. The monumental shift from tiny Scandi show to international hit uploaded to Google Drive with bootleg subtitles didn’t go unnoticed. “While we were shooting it, we were kind of living in the Skam universe, and suddenly there were people trying to take pictures of us,” remembers Holm. A fourth season came and went centering on the Muslim character, Sana, and though it garnered both debate and praise, people couldn’t help but ache for the return of Isak and Even. Then the series ended, seemingly without warning. Fans were left reeling. Pillows were cried into. And the explanation for its conclusion was a bit weak. However, Holm and Moe pulled it off, providing a thrilling true-to-life coming out story that was neither navel-gazing nor embellished. It felt real, which is why fans—gay and straight alike—have rallied behind this show and reevaluated their attitudes toward sexuality and mental health. Now, the show is headed for impending doom of an American remake. And Tarjei Sandvik Moe and Henrik Holm are teetering on the precipice of intensely promising careers, leaving their beloved characters behind. But we’ll always have Isak and Even. TREY TAYLOR: Can you tell me how you got the role on Skam? TARJEI SANDVIK MOE: It was an open audition and they announced that they needed people born between 1996 and 1999. So the casting guy came to our school and 1,000 people or more came to audition, and I just signed up. In the last round [of auditions], I got told that I was going to audition for Isak. I also auditioned for the role of Jonas but I got the Isak role. I was watching a movie when I found out I got the part. They said it would take a couple of weeks to find out, so I wasn’t stressing at all because it had just been one week since the audition. They called me and told me they wanted to offer me the part of Isak and I didn’t know what that was but I was happy because nobody had cast me professionally before that. It was only my second audition so I didn’t think it would happen. I didn’t want to tell my mom so I just walked into a room where I could be by myself and I just screamed “Yes!” [laughs] HENRIK HOLM: I was introduced in the third season. Skam had its breakthrough in Scandinavia in its second season. Everybody knew what Skam was and there were so many people that wanted to join the “Skamily”. They had open auditions for the third season. They were looking for someone between the ages of 17 and 19. I was thinking about [auditioning] but after two days they had a press release in the Norwegian media where they said, “Hold up, we can’t take anymore resumes.” A few months later, during summer vacation, I found out that my mother had sent in my resume for me and they had tried to contact me through messenger on Facebook. But I wasn’t friends with the girl who was casting so it was in the message requests folder. So I hadn’t seen it and I checked the message and it was dated two months ago. So I got so stressed and messaged her back saying, “Hi, please let me know if you have any more chances!” I put my phone in my pocket and went to work at a local café. On my lunch break, I took my phone out of my pocket and realized I hadn’t pressed the lock button, so I was basically pocket texting her for two hours and sending her voice messages. I was so embarrassed. I thought, “This is the end of me. I’m not going to get any more jobs in this industry.” But for some reason she was very cool and was like, “This could happen to anyone.” And they brought me in for the last week of auditioning. I think it might have been the last day. MOE: You were the last one! I think you were the last person to audition. HOLM: Wow, that’s so cool. First I auditioned with another guy and the second round I got to meet Tarjei and we started talking and it was a good fit. The same day I was at the audition with Tarjei they wanted us to do a [role-playing] test. Tarjei was going to tell me that he slept with my girlfriend and I walked out of that room. I really felt that part went bad. I was so down and I was like, “Oh my god, he actually slept with my girlfriend.” MOE: Because I was so cocky when I was saying it! [laughs] I was like, “Sorry man!” HOLM: Yeah, you were a douchebag! [laughs] So I started walking home with my head hung, because I was so depressed—I thought I blew my last shot! I got home to my friends that I lived with and I was like, “It didn’t go well.” I was really depressed for like two hours and then [Skam creator] Julie [Andem] called me and was like, “Henrik, how would you feel if I told you you were going to play the part of Even?” and I immediately started screaming. It went from the bottom to the top. TAYLOR: Tarjei, you said you wanted to play the part of Jonas and not Isak. Why? MOE: I didn’t know anything about the series and we got to read about all the characters. So I got to read about Yousef, Isak, Mikael, William, Chris … and when I read about Jonas, he seemed like the coolest dude ever! We didn’t know who was going to be the main character, and I was like why can’t I play the cool dude?! I want to be the cool dude, the dressed up guy. In the information about Isak, it said he was manipulative and stuff like that. It also said he was gay and I was like … hmm. There was no problem with that, I just thought that Jonas was the coolest guy ever. I think Marlon [Langeland] did a good job of it. So it was a good thing that they cast me for Isak and Marlon for Jonas, that was the right choice. But back then I wanted to be Jonas so much. HOLM: Did it really say in the description that your character was gay? MOE: Yeah! The last sentences of each character’s description included the biggest secrets of that character. Isak’s secret was that he liked boys. So I knew it from the start. TAYLOR: I thought it was decided later on when characters in the show kept making comments that Isak was gay. MOE: Even though I knew it the whole time, I wasn’t thinking about it. I don’t know how it is but I don’t think that gay people walk around [thinking about how] they’re gay. My job was playing Isak, not playing “gay”—you know what I mean? TAYLOR: I also heard that you asked Julie if your character could hook up with Vilde on the show. MOE: Yeah, that was Ulrikke [Falch]. She was the one hoping for that. I was like, “Yeah, that would be cool,” because I like Ulrikke. She’s so fun and cute, so I thought that would be cool. TAYLOR: Why did Julie say no? MOE: I don’t know. I think because she had her own plan for everything. That was just a secret thing Ulrikke and I [shared]. We were just like, “Oh my god we should hook up on the show!” Julie was more like, “How about you guys hook up outside of the show?” [laughs] TAYLOR: Tarjei, how did you find out that you were going to be the main character in season three? MOE: She called me from the start of season one, so I knew then. But I didn’t take it seriously. I said, “Julie, this thing is not going to work for three seasons.” I doubted there was even going to be a second season. When we got to season two and [the show] started to get big I thought, “I have a big responsibility.” I wasn’t sure if I could do it. Julie said, “You can do it, if you couldn’t do it I wouldn’t have chosen you to be a main character.” So I trusted Julie more than I trusted myself. TAYLOR: Have you heard any particular stories that people have told you about how you helped them come out, or helped in dealing with their mental illness? MOE: I’ve had those experiences when people are so surprised when they meet me and they start shaking and saying stuff like, “You saved me”. Also people who are really deep and serious and are like, “Man, I came out of the closet because of Isak.” That’s big. I think it defends the work of making TV and doing acting. It can change people and it’s such fun work. When I’m acting I’m thinking like, “Oh my god I get paid to do this.” But when you see it could change the world like that I think, “Okay, I deserve my paycheck.” [laughs] HOLM: I’ve met people who understood that they were bipolar by watching our performances. I’ve also met people that have gotten the courage to tell their families that they were gay, but also so many young people who have struggled with their mental health, for years, and they found something that wasn’t only glamorous and pretty to look at but also very raw and understanding. There aren’t a lot of series that have such a deep level of understanding of homosexuality and mental illnesses. MOE: I’ve also met straight people—straight people have said like, “When I first saw Isak and Even kissing, I thought that was disgusting, but after watching it and understanding the characters I realized it’s actually not disgusting. They’re just loving each other like everyone else.” So it’s not only gay people accepting that they’re gay but straight people accepting that other people are gay. TAYLOR: So you have met homophobic people that have changed their mind? MOE: Yeah they stopped being homophobic because they saw that it’s not the worst thing [to be gay]. TAYLOR: I want to talk about that kardemomme scene—you said it was mostly improvised. I heard you rapped the entire “Express Yourself” song by N.W.A. but it got cut. HOLM: [laughs] What did happen that day? MOE: I did rap the whole thing and it got cut out because my rapping was too long. That would’ve made people turn off their TV and be like, “What the fuck is this?! If I wanted to see rapping I would go see rapping!” HOLM: With my bad beat boxing. TAYLOR: When you were making the toast was that improvised? HOLM: We were shooting in Marlon [Langeland]’s apartment. Even’s room is Marlon’s room in real life. They didn’t know what kind of herbs were in his kitchen cupboard, so they just threw out a lot of herbs. There were so many strange names of spices that we had never heard of before. TAYLOR: Did they let you smoke weed? Was that real? HOLM: Oh, no! [laughs] I didn’t even get to roll my own joint! I really had a big dream that I was going to get to roll my own joint as the character. But then I got on set, and the costume boss had one of her friends roll up the whole pack; it was like seven joints or something. I was so depressed because I really wanted to do it myself, and personally I didn’t think it was very well rolled, so I wasn’t too satisfied with the joint—but it wasn’t real weed. We had to smoke herbal cigarettes. MOE: Yeah, it wasn’t tobacco. We smoked some herbs or something. It wasn’t good! HOLM: It was worse than cigarettes because it made you feel glossed over, and you felt really weird in your mouth and you got a bad taste and a headache. I wish it was real weed but it wasn’t. MOE: Earlier that day I also shot the scene, which is the first scene in the episode, when I’m laying in the bath and I smoke from that bong. So I did so much smoking that day, I was depressed afterwards. [laughs] TAYLOR: Henrik, did you have to learn the lyrics to Gabrielle’s “5 Fine Frøkner” for that kitchen scene? HOLMS: I got a text from Julie the day before and she was like, “Henrik you need to help me find a cool song and it’ll be the song that Even will sing to Isak. She proposed “Ah-Ha” by Take On Me, but that was going to be too cliché. So she proposed Gabrielle, and I personally like Gabrielle, but I haven’t listened to much of her songs, and that special song, “5 Fine Frøkner” is a song that was on the radio all the time. The whole summer it had been playing and people were kind of sick of it, like “Despacito.” So my immediate response to Julie was, “Please no, don’t make me do that!” I sat down and listened to the song about three times and started dancing and was like, “Yeah, I really dig this song now!” I had to rehearse the lyrics but when we got on set I had only rehearsed it like three times, so it made it more natural that I didn’t know all the lyrics. TAYLOR: That’s funny because when the show came out and that song played, everybody started downloading it and it became even more popular. [“5 Fine Frøkner” saw a 3,018 percent increase in listening on Spotify after the episode aired, with over 13 million streams]. MOE: I think that Gabrielle owes us some money… [laughs] TAYLOR: Did you guys have a favorite music moment from the show? HOLM: I watched [Skam] when it aired on television, but I must say “O Helga Natt” was the first time I watched that scene and heard the song; I was getting goosebumps all over my neck. MOE: It was so surprising to watch because as we were shooting it, it didn’t sound like that. I always thought it was good but I was just running around the streets of Oslo, and it was the scene where we meet each other and go to the school yard. They were playing this music— HOLM: It made all the focus go away because we were doing maybe the most sensitive and fragile scene in the whole series. But the moment we walked out in the schoolyard, there was a party next door. It was very funny. I almost forgot that. [laughs] TAYLOR: Have either of you ever connected with a piece of media or a piece of art as intensely as viewers connected with Skam? MOE: Yeah in theater, with small theater things. HOLM: But in the same way as fans who have traveled to see the place and meet the people and everything? MOE: Well no, but I have also had those big experiences where I’ve thought, “Okay, I’m going to change my life and do things differently after seeing this.” HOLM: There are so many movies that have changed my view on acting and my perspective of the world and everything, but what was most absurd to me was that these people were actually praising us, or coming to Oslo and walking in our footsteps. It was like, why are they doing this? But my mother explained it very well to me when she reminded me of my huge crush when I was a teenage boy. I was so in love with Jessica Alba, and I was willing to do anything to meet her. I was sitting at home the day I realized I was never going to meet Jessica Alba crying my eyes out. I was so down, and I actually had to go back to that place where I was idolizing who Jessica Alba was, and how she was going to be with me and everything—that made me understand how these people who really connected with Isak and Even’s story wanted to meet us and show us how much it meant to them. That made me open up my eyes to what this show has done for people and that it had a very positive impact on people’s lives. TAYLOR: How old were you when you were obsessed with Jessica Alba? HOLM: Oh I don’t know, I was not old at all. I was like 12 years old or something, 12 or 13. I was dreaming about her every night. [laughs] TAYLOR: Why did the show end? HOLM: Julie is such an artist that when she started thinking about this project, she was thinking about it and dreaming about it all the time. Doing that on and on for two years, I feel like that was enough. But at the same time I think she also thought about the actors. She didn’t want us to be too connected to our roles, in the way that many series go on for year after year, and the actors become more or less their role. TAYLOR: Were you shocked when you found out it was ending? HOLM: It was a shock, but it wasn’t a surprise. MOE: She made four seasons of TV in two years and she wrote everything; she directed everything; she even chose the music! So the fact that she even did one season is impressive to me, and the fact that she made four is fantastic. TAYLOR: I’m part of all these Skam Facebook groups. I saw in one of them that these two guys booked a trip to that hotel you stayed in and found the room and ate some mini burgers just like Isak and Even. How does it make you feel when people do things like that? MOE: I hope they know that that’s not our life, it’s our characters. [laughs] It’s funny, I basically do that without trying because I’m attending [the school the show was filmed in], Hartvig Nissen, and I’m the same age as Isak, which is a total coincidence. But I’m still going to Nissen. I am basically on the set everyday. I also meet a lot of people who come to the school to take pictures of the school and also take pictures of me too. If someone told me two years ago that I would be in a series that would make people from China go to Oslo to take pictures of not that pretty of a school, I would be saying, “What the fuck?!” [laughs] HOLM: I must say that the greatest part of it is that we achieved something of an impact on people. Skam has actually changed people’s lives for the better. That’s why I think people are trying to walk in Isak and Even’s shoes—their lives actually changed for the better. I’ve meet so many people that were affected by, not only the characters and how we portray them, but also the fan base and the warmth inside of all the fans that it became a family that started connecting with each other from across the world. They found something that they could enjoy together and can talk about as much as they wanted. It has much more than race and culture, it was something that was so real to people, irrespective of where you were from or what sexuality you were. Julie made a series that was possible for everyone to understand even if you were 14 or 90 years old. That’s what I think was so special about Skam. http://www.interviewmagazine.com/film/skams-isak-even-revolutionized-teen-tv

Six Top Tools for Live Video on Social Media
Tumblr media
People like watching live video on social media because there is a special feeling about watching something as it unfolds. Whether it is for entertainment or educational purposes, you are getting to see the freshest content no one has ever seen before.
Think it’s all hype, with social media companies promoting content formats that no one is interested in? The data says otherwise. About 47% of live streaming video viewers worldwide are streaming more live video today than they did a year ago. And more than half of these viewers are watching live on social platforms.
Tumblr media
If you want to build your presence on social media with video, live streaming is the way to go. And it is easier than ever before to excel at it, all you need is the right tools. But with there are so many tools and apps to use it can be hard to choose.
To help you pick the right ones I have created this list of the best live video tools for social media streaming.
Interactive Presentations With ClickMeeting
ClickMeeting lets you live stream your webinar presentations to both Facebook Live and YouTube simultaneously. Using it, you can share both a live video of yourself (through the webcam) or a screen cast. Given that ClickMeeting is primarily a webinar tool, you can also record your video while you stream it to social media.
Tumblr media
The platform also offers a built-in clipper tool, which you can use to edit your videos after your events, to remove any hiccups and gaps that are common when going live. You can then download the video and upload it onto other networks like Vimeo and IGTV, or use it as a lead magnet.
You can also experiment with running a live webinar and simultaneously live streaming it onto Facebook and YouTube to see which platform brings in the best engagement. This can be measured by the number of viewers, comments and the percentage of people who stayed on till the end on each platform.
If you share links during the videos, you can also use a link tracking tool to see which platform sent the most traffic and/or sales. A free tool that can help you with this is Bitly. It shows the number of clicks the post got and on which site. You can also use ClickMeeting to embed your webinar experience on a web page hosted on your site and encourage people who discover your content on social media to join you for the full interactive version, with dedicated Q&A chat threads, clickable calls-to-action and in-webinar polls.
Pricing: Starts at $35 per month for a plan that includes live social media streaming.
Collaborate with Cohosts Using BeLive
If you're on a tighter budget and looking for something more affordable, you should check out BeLive. It works well with Twitch and Facebook Live. With their basic plan, you can share a live video of yourself, but to share your screen you'll need to upgrade to a bigger plan.
Tumblr media
Some other interesting features include the ability to brand your video with custom branded colors and logo and the ability to have up to four presenters on-screen at a time. This is great if you want to run live discussions and debates. There’s also a waiting room where more guests can wait to join your live video.
The only two drawbacks to using this tool is that it doesn’t live stream to YouTube and that you cannot record and edit the video. But you can always download the recording from Facebook and edit it by using an affordable tool like Screencast O Matic’s Video Editor. It can be used to edit the videos and directly share to networks like YouTube and Vimeo.
Pricing: The price for Belive starts at $20 per month, but you will need to get the $33 per month plan if you want to share your screen with your viewers.
Have Conversations on Facebook Groups With Zoom
Another tool that lets you livestream videos to both Facebook and YouTube is Zoom. On Facebook, you can live stream the video to your timeline or page or group. You can use it to simultaneously run a webinar and live stream to either Facebook or YouTube. But you can’t cast it to both social networks at the same time.
Tumblr media
You can also record the webinar while you live stream it. But it doesn’t have a built-in editor that lets you trim down your clips. To shorten the video, you will need to download it and use a separate video editor.
Here too you can display up to four hosts talking at the same time on your screen, with their gallery view feature.
Pricing: Starts at $54.99 per month.
Virtual Summits Using Crowdcast
If you are on the lookout for a tool that lets you stream live videos to more than two social media platforms, you need to check out Crowdcast. It can be used to stream billable classes and virtual summits to Facebook, YouTube and Periscope.
Tumblr media
You can engage with viewers via polls and chat. The questions interface is cool, as it allows audience members to record videos of their queries, which other audience members can upvote and downvote. You can even invite attendees onto your screen if they would like to share their opinions and insights.
Crowdcast has several other advanced features and integrations that make it easy to generate leads, followers and sales. It is also good at tracking attendee behavior. The data can be used to increase live video engagement rate and conversions.
Pricing: Starts at $49 per month.
Go Pro and Pick up Livestream
If you are looking for a highly advanced live streaming tool for a bigger budget, you should check out Vimeo’s own Livestream. It lets you broadcast the video to Facebook, YouTube, Periscope, Twitch and, of course, Vimeo. You can even embed the Livestream on your web pages.
Tumblr media
Advanced features include the ability to add custom branded graphics for a more professional look and engagement tools (these include chat, live polls and Q&A). You can also monetize your videos by adding over the top (OTT) video subscriptions or by inserting ads. There are also features that let you capture leads.
Livestream also helps you track video performance on all the social media platforms you are streaming your video to. This is a great way to check which network is getting you the best results and if you are generating sufficient ROI.
You can also white label the videos and make sure they are ad free. This is a great tool for anyone who wants to turn live streaming into a core aspect of their business.
Livestream is a part of Vimeo’s premium plan, so you will be getting all the benefits a Vimeo premium plan offers too. This includes 7 TB of storage.
Pricing: It costs $75 per month, but it is billed annually. There is no monthly plan.
Try It Before You Buy It With OBS Studio
If you have a super tight budget and you're looking to experiment with a free live social streaming tool, you should give OBS Studio a try. It is not as straightforward to use as the above tools since it requires a bit of setup. But it still offers some relatively advanced features.
Tumblr media
One of the biggest drawbacks of OBS is that it's not a web-based app – it’s software that needs to be downloaded and installed. OBS is available in PCs, Macs, and Linux.
OBS can be used for both live streamings to Facebook and YouTube and also for recording. The advanced, high-fidelity sound mixer and scene patching tools are key differentiators as well.
Pricing: Free
Quick Tips for Professional Live Streams
The tools listed above will help your live streams run smoothly. But if you want to get more engagement from viewers during the live stream and keep them coming back for more, you'll need to create a wonderful experience. So, here are some quick live video tips:
Create a Game Plan: Have a proper plan in place for your live stream. Decide before hand how long it is going to be, what you will be covering, how much time you will spend sharing content and how much time you will spend promoting your products/services. You can make a checklist on a white board or a piece of paper. This will help make sure you cover everything you planned to do.
Use Slides: Make sure you present a series of slides full of pictures, graphs and other content. This will make it easy for people to visualise what you are saying. Many of the above tools let you share your screen, so make use of the feature.
Practice: Practice your presentation several times. This will help you prepare yourself to confidently present the live version. Start the stream at the right time: The timing you choose should depend on your audience. It should be at a time when they will be free and attentive. It might be best to conduct a survey to find out what times your audience prefers for attending live events online.
Host a Giveaway: Create a checklist or an ebook that compliments the live stream. Then inform the attendants (early on) that you will be giving it away for free at the end. This will get more people to watch the whole stream.
Start Promoting Your Video: for at least least two weeks in advance: You should start promoting your live stream at least two weeks in advance. And make sure you begin sending several reminders on the day before and on the day of the live stream to get maximum viewers.
Now pick your favorite and start streaming
These are the six best live video tools for social media streaming. The one you pick should depend on your budget and requirements. All of the above, except Livestream, offer either a free plan or trial. So, you can try all out before settling for one.
Have you tried to do live social media streaming before? What worked best for you? Please leave your comments below.

Trope-A-Dope #1
@killingmeitsso2yearsago said: One of my favourite is when one of them is doing a liveshow and somehow they slip up and they coming out live :-)
I loved this, so I made it a 5 + 1 (I know, how many more times am I gunna do this with a simple prompt?)
Enjoy!
And don’t forget to Send me prompts for this project with the most-used Phanfic tropes.
It’s Worth Deciding
(~5k, Fluff, coming out, 5+1)
The five times Dan and Phil nearly came out in a live stream. And the one time they did.
Title from Half Life by Duncan Sheik: “Before the truth goes back into hiding I want to decide ‘cause it’s worth deciding”
AO3 LINK
1.
It was a stupid idea really. He should have known better than to move the time of his show without telling Dan, but he really had wanted to finish the level of the game he was playing before he started and Dan was usually tuned in in the next room anyway. Except this time.
This time Dan had gone to see Louise and had come home at 9pm expecting Phil to be finished with his live show and ready to settle down on the couch for the evening, had set about making them dinner, oblivious to the fact that Phil was still maintaining a one sided conversation with thousands of subscribers in their living room.
It wasn’t his fault, it was barely Phil’s, but Dan didn’t hear Phil talking and Phil hadn’t told him that he’d decided to move the live show to half 8. Consequently, he was still live to around 15,000 people when Dan came storming into the living room carrying a jar of pasta sauce and one of curry.
“Pasta or curry, babe?”
Phil whipped his head up. Dan was out of shot, standing off behind the laptop, but his voice was instantly recognisable to the thousands of people watching.
The chat was awash with ‘Is that Dan?!’ and ‘OMFGOD DID he just call Phil Babe?!!!!!’ it was moving so quickly Phil could only just make each message out before another one appeared.
Dan was quicker to react than Phil, jumping in front of the screen waving the jars and laughing it off.
“This guy” Dan said gesturing to Phil with one of the jars. Phil isn’t sure which one. “Slave driver, I tell you. You lose one little game of rock paper scissors and I have to cook his stupid dinner…”
“Fair’s fair” Phil said distractedly as he watched the chat still moving at lightening speed.
Dan stayed until the end. Moving the conversation on to commenting on other questions from the chat. Phil wasn’t sure they were even real, but he mostly just let the moment wash over him.
They ignored it, like they always did. Tumblr debated the audio clips of it for a few weeks, arguing over whether Dan’s voice had said ‘babe’ or ‘mate’. It became another thing in their history, more dubious ‘proof’ dragged out at random intervals but neither of them acknowledged it again.
Nothing really changed except that Phil didn’t forget to tell Dan when he moved his live show anymore and after that, Dan always left a moment’s pause before saying anything upon entering a room. It was another adaption they made, another concession to their ongoing secret keeping and it didn’t really bother them, much.
This is what they’ve decided.
2.
Rule one of a Dan live show: never take anything he says seriously. He’d tried to hammer this point home over the years, mostly he was successful and the ambiguity worked well with his branding. The end result was that most things he said were taken out of context, but they weren’t said with much context anyway so it usually didn’t matter so much.
Live shows were always a cause of mild anxiety for Dan, which is probably why he kept everything so blurry, fell unexpectedly into pseudo-intellectual rants and ‘accidental’ life advice.
Phil obviously planned his, bringing props and conversation starters, as he often did in real life interactions, whipping out unexpected animal facts at the mere hint of a dip in activity. Dan planned too, but he planned what to say, wrote down bullet points of which life events he could talk about, referred to videos and tweets, inane stories about domestic tidbits that fueled the chat just enough to keep them from insisting he answer the bigger questions. In short, he walked a fine line kept only in tact because he tried his damn hardest not to be caught off guard.
Which is why a combination of tiredness and rushing causes him to unravel.
He’d run in from a busy day, barely had time to even log in to the site and battle with error messages and agonising loading times before his own face is staring back at him from the screen and he realises he’s forgotten his trademark post-it with acceptable anecdotes, left it on the desk upstairs in the office where it sits uselessly on their wall calendar.
It isn’t too much of a big deal at first. The chat is mostly tame, asking him how he is and about tweets he’d posted in the last week and the video they’d uploaded on the gaming channel and he manages to stay within the realms of acceptable.
But he’s tired. So tired from the day and running about and all he wants is to crawl into bed beside Phil who he knows is sleeping off a headache in the next room. He hasn’t been home all day but Phil had text him earlier to say that he was experiencing one of the bad ones and that he was going to take pain killers and get into bed early.
And Dan hadn’t been able to come home yet, being in so much of a rush from the meetings he’d had to attend alone, which meant he hadn’t even had chance to go and see him before he had to start the stream, so when he sees the five hundredth ‘get Phil’ appear in the chat he’s almost had enough.
“I can’t get Phil” Dan says with a sigh, “He’s asleep in the bedroom.”
It takes him much longer than it should before he realises his mistake. <i>The.</i> It’s simple. It should be <i>his</i> or <i>Phil’s</i> but it’s not. It is The really. The room he’s in now is, for all intents and purposes, Dan’s bedroom. In the sense that all his clothes and stuff are stored in here and all of Phils are stored in the other one, but they don’t sleep in here.
Perhaps if one of them is feeling particularly insomniac that evening they will, or when they are trying to avoid the inevitable sharing of germs when one of them gets sick, or for appearances when people not in their inner circle stay after house parties. They even, on occasion, make a show of sleeping apart after some stupid fight or other but it’s only a matter of time before one of them is crawling in beside the other, pressing cold toes against warm shins and sliding into each other’s arms with hushed sorrys and gentles kisses.
It’s all over the chat. It’ll be all over the internet come morning in ‘Phan proof’ compilation videos and gif sets and god knows what else. He’ll have the phrase ‘asleep in the bedroom’ tweeted at him for weeks and it’s enough to make him exhausted of it all. He ends the show early and doesn’t even bother to tidy up. Simply shuts his laptop, turns out the lights and makes his way to Phil’s bedroom.
He strips down to his boxers, lifts Phil’s laptop from his side of the bed and crawls in beside him.
“I don’t think it’s that bad.” He hears whispered into the dark.
“God, you were watching?”
Dan feels Phil shrug as he slips an arm over his waist. “I haven’t seen you all day.”
“Missed me eh?” Dan tries to chuckle, “You’re such trash for me.”
Phil rolls over to face him in the dark and nods. “Since the first time I saw you on skype. Kind of reminded me of when you used to ramble on while I fell asleep.”
“Yeah I was incoherent and stupid then too.”
“No,” Phil says, sliding his nose against Dan’s and dipping to kiss him softly, “You were perfect.”
He’s soppy and sleepy from the painkillers. Drowsy and beautiful in the dim light and Dan hugs him softly into his chest, heated skin again his.
There’s some silence as Phil lets his eyes drift shut again, relaxing into Dan’s arms, legs mingled together beneath the sheets.
“You really think it won’t be that bad?”
“No,” Phil sighs, “I think it will. And you’ll get it worse than I do as always, but we’ll ignore it and it will go away.
“Right.” Dan agrees faintly, because that’s what they do. “Is your head still bad?”
“Hmm” Phil says without opening his eyes.
Dan slides one hand into Phils hair and strokes it lightly, running his fingers over his temples and forehead. “Better?”
Phil hums at the contact and Dan continues stroking until his breathing evens out and he’s soft and pliant in his arms. He stayed there, a hand in Phil’s hair and the darkness of <i>the</i> bedroom surrounding them and they don’t decide anything, but then they don’t really need to.
3.
Phil doesn’t mean to. All he did was answer the phone to his mum like he had done numerous times before, always with the rushed ‘I’m in a live show’ at the beginning. Not that he’s afraid she’ll say anything, because she never would usually, there’d be no reason for her to and yet…
“Hi mum I’m in a–”
“I can’t stop love,” his mum barrels on over the top of his warning, “I’ve got so much to do. I just wanted to check whether you two are still coming up this weekend.”
“Yes but–”
“Good. Wouldn’t want you third wheeling with Martyn and Cornelia.”
“Err… Great. Yeah. Got to go mum, I’m in a liveshow.”
“You’re what–”
And phil puts the phone down. He doesn’t think he’s ever put the phone down on his mum before.
It’s not what she said exactly. Because the fact that Phil is bringing <i>someone</i> to his parent’s house this weekend, someone who will stop him being a third wheel, doesn’t mean that its Dan. But the implication is there. And the fact that he’d be third wheeling alone doesn’t mean that the person making him not be a third wheel is his own date. But the implication is there. So it stands to reason that nothing his mum said would imply that Dan is coming, as his date, to a wedding of a family friend and they’re staying at his parent’s house this weekend. But the implication is there.
And it’s that implication that makes him put the phone down and become distracted and lackluster for the rest of the show. It’s there in the comments, the speculation and the questioning, but Phil tries to ignore it. It’s the usual tactic.
“It shouldn’t be a big deal though” Dan says later when he’s hopped up on the counter next to Phil who is stirring spices into chicken in a pan.
“It shouldn’t” Phil agrees, “But that’s our life I guess. It’s the price we pay.”
“You always say that. But, I mean, would it be a big deal if we just, didn’t censor this stuff?”
Phil rests the spoon on the edge of the pan.
“What are you saying?”
“I don’t know, exactly” Dan admits, “Just that it’s fucking stupid that I can’t go to a wedding with my boyfriend without thousands of people on the internet commenting on it.”
“Well, I don’t think it’s quite as simple as you’re reducing it to there but… in a way you’re right.”
Dan huffs and Phil moves the pan from the heat, turns off the stove and moves to wiggle between Dan’s knees. He slides his hands to the tops of Dan’s thigh and squeezes gently.
“One day it will be that simple” Phil promises with a casual kiss pressed to the end of Dan’s nose, “One day we’ll just be able to say we’re going to a wedding and everyone will think we’re boring and be so over it that no one will even tweet us.”
“So we’re closeted and popular or out and no longer relevant. Great positive outlook on our future there Philly.”
Phil pouts and puts his arms securely around Dan’s waist.
“You know that’s not what I meant.”
“What did you mean then?”
“I meant that one day it won’t be a thing. We’ll be out and happy and everyone will just be used to it. It won’t be news.”
Dan sighs and ducks his head to rest his forehead on Phil’s shoulder.  “How do we get to your magical utopian future?”
“I don’t know,” Phil says honestly. “But we will.”
It feels like a decision. It’s not something they’ve vocalised before, at least not to each other,  but it’s out there now, swimming around them, tempting and vibrant.
“I want to go to there,” Dan whispers, only smirking slightly.
“Stick with me,” Phil assures him, “I’ll get us there.”
4.
YouTube parties. There’s a certain unspoken pact that everyone enters into in the environment that makes them drop their guard. It’s an unspoken rule that cameras are to be left abandoned out of sight. They all need a moment of reprieve, of being out in the world without fear, not trapped behind locked doors, hidden and secretive. They can share themselves with this corner of the world, because it isn’t just them that are tucking themselves back away as soon as the cameras come out.
And so they relax. Slips fingers between fingers, step into each other’s space, touch longer, smile wider and drop the pretence that so often lingers over them. They are not careful, because they don’t need to be.
Beyond the bubble they’ve created is the circling hazard of inexperienced youth. Unbeknownst to them a 16 year old YouTuber, new to the scene and recently denied the pleasure of ordering alcohol at this party, decides to make a name for himself. He loads up the live stream section of instagram and announces in a hushed voice, face illuminated by neon flashing lights, that he’s going to expose the reason why no one vlogs at YouTube parties.
They aren’t the only ones he captures on camera that night. A few other secrets are exposed, and in much higher definition than they had been. But even the blurry image of their backs, bodies pressed together from shoulder to hip, arms slung carelessly about each other, faces dipped close, is recognisable enough to send a shockwave through various social media platforms.
Tumblr blogs zoom in tight, Twitter accounts make their profile pictures this solitary still image of two dark haired blurs leaning towards each other. It’s not proof, but it’s damning anyway.
It doesn’t last, and neither does the young YouTuber’s career, but it’s enough to stir a conversation that’s long overdue.
“We need to decide.” Phil announces.
Dan doesn’t need to ask what about. “We do.”
“I have absolutely no idea how though.”
Dan shrugs, “Me either. We’ve sort of backed ourselves into a corner haven’t we?”
“Liars or hypocrites,” Phil agrees.
It’s a phrase they’ve said so many times over the years. They come out and they’re liars. Judged for keeping a secret that formed in the early days, when they were trying to protect the fragile, sacred thing they’d been building. Just holding it back between them until it felt more solid, more permanent.
So they lied, by omission if not by the constant use of ‘friend’ when they meant ‘partner’, ‘lover’, ‘everything’. By the time it felt real enough that they could have shared it, it was too late. Their careers and lives twined so tightly but so precariously that any tiny shift could mean eternal ruin, especially when they’d made so many sacrifices, taken so many risks, just to have a chance at it.
They come out and they’re liars. Or else they keep their secret and they’re hypocrites.
They have chanted a constant litany of self acceptance through the years. The mantra of ‘do what makes you happy’ put forth from both of them in various and prolific ways and it’s a small irony that they don’t take their own advice. But they’re never actually decided that this will be their lot forever, have never actually drawn a line in the sand that they’ll never step over.
They can be one, or they can be the other, and as the tweeted replies, tumblr tags and youtube comments roll in, each touting one blurry image as a demand for satisfaction to a question that has been asked more times that they would ever dare to count, they have to decide.
5.
In the end it’s not quite an accident, but not yet a conscious effort. They simply stop… trying. They don’t lower their guard, don’t start flaunting about everything they hold most precious, but they do stop the obvious denial and argumentative contradiction.
It’s a joint live show because they have news. There will be a video too but they’ve wanted to express it more fluidly, to feel an instant response perhaps rather than dragging themselves through the  effort of shooting and editing and waiting while the comments load. Instead they huddle close together on their couch, framed from the waist up and full of happy, excited smiles.
“So we’ve got some news,” Phil says about 40 minutes in, swiping his fringe back into place with the side of his fingers. It’s nervous habit that Dan grins at fondly.
“That’s right you fiends, hold on to your trashy bedazzled hats cus me and Phil, we’ve got some pretty big news.”
Phil wants to roll his eyes, because Dan playing up to a camera is just so typical but it’s something he’s grown so accustomed to over the years. So much so that now he’s exasperatedly fond of his weird over-egged danisnotonfire personality.
“Why are their hats bedazzled?”
“I don’t know,” Dan says with a side eye to the camera, “You’d have to ask them. Weirdos.”
“You can’t call them weirdos, Dan.”
“Course I can Philly. They’re weirdos, with their weird kinky group chat names and their meme trash shitposts. Yeah…” he leans closer to the laptop, pointing an accusing finger, “you know who you are.”
“Dan, Dan, stop.” Phil says with a tender hand on his arm, “Sit back down.”
“Fine Phil, protect those smol beans.”
“I will.” Phil coughs, “Err… so, news.”
“Yes.”
“Do you want to tell them?”
“Macie in the chat says HURRY UP, OMFG.” Dan laughs. He’s clearly enjoying the build up.
Phil is too, but he’s unnaturally nervous about it for some reason, there’s a lot sort of riding on it and they have no way to tell how people will react. The live show chat is just a tester anyway, so they can prepare for the onslaught when they actually do put out a proper video tomorrow. By that time it will be all over the internet anyway, and hopefully people will be used to the idea.
So Dan’s worried and is over acting everything. Swinging from one extreme to the other, loud and brash and fidgeting with things just out of eyeline of the camera. He’s distracted like he always gets when his head is full of the ‘what ifs’ and Phil is distracted by Dan.
Which is why he can be forgiven for jumping the gun and letting the phrase ‘we bought a house and we’re moving and we won’t be in this flat anymore’ spill from his mouth like rainwater where they’d agreed they’d remain ambiguous on the exact capacity in which they had acquired said new living quarters. They’d planned to hint at renting again, they’d planned to say ‘we’ in a way that didn’t imply they had made a huge real estate investment. Together. With joint finances.
They hadn’t planned to lie, just skirt around the truth. Phil, instead, had blurted it all out.
But they don’t see the expected explosion of ‘Phan is real’ in the chat, though it’s most certainly there. Instead it’s crammed between the barrage of ‘OMG’ and ‘I’m so happy for you guys’ and ‘yay storage’.
People are happy. And they aren’t focussing on the lie, aren’t calling them out on everything that has previously gone unsaid or been blatantly refuted, instead they’re focussing on the future and what is to come.
It’s harder when the video lands, and they receive far more of the expected commentary on the situation, even though they tried to tamper the message slightly so that not so much of them is exposed. Settling for, ‘we’re moving to a new place’ rather than Phil’s original, but more revealing, statement.
But the initial flood of positivity fills them with hope that it might not be as bad as they fear, and when they close the laptop lid after the live show and grin at each other with a sheen to their eyes they’ll deny later, they don’t need to voice their decision out loud.
+1
“Hello” they say in unison.
“I almost said DanAndPhilGAMES and panicked that I hadn’t thought of a name” Phil laughs.
“Why would you–” Dan start in a high pitched voice, “No, best not to ask. Hi everyone, welcome to the live show.”
“I’m just used to doing it when you’re sat next to me,” Phil shrugs, grinning widely and spinning in his desk chair slightly.
“Oh cus of the computer chairs?” Dan asks, “Grace in the chat wants to know why we’re sat in the computer chairs and where are you and Blah blah blah. All in good time Grace, all in good time.”
“You can’t keep them hanging.”
“Can’t I?” Dan says, rubbing his hands together.
“No.” Phil shakes his head defiantly in Dan’s direction before turning back to the camera. “You guys know we’re in our new house and this,” he waves his hands about manically, circling the blank space behind them, “Is going to be the new gaming room.”
“Yeah, totally snazzy background. Don’t worry, we won’t be leaving it like this is just things are hectic people, there’s only so many boxes of stuff I can lug about before it becomes like, actual exercise.”
“I know my arms are killing me,” Phil demonstrates by wiggling his arm, “When did we get so much stuff?”
“I don’t know. But anyway, I’ve got lots of ideas about the aesthetic of this background, I can feel the creative juices flowing and…”
“Dan.” Phil interrupts. “The people just want the sofa bed back.”
“Well too bad you little shits, cus it’s gone.”
“Yeah, it was so broken guys, it never recovered from when Dan broke it so it was a casualty of the move. Like, the minute we tried to move it…” he makes a breaking noise.
“When I broke it?” Dan’s mouth falls open, “Right guys, write in the chat who you think broke the sofa bed.”
They watch it scroll for a moment.
“See.”
“I didn’t break it.” Phil insists, “I didn’t.”
“Whatever Philly. Megan wants to know when they’ll get a house tour.” Dan read, “We just moved in so probably not for a while. We have boxes everywhere, I don’t know how we’re going to get to the bed.”
“I know,” Phil responds without missing a beat, because this had been the plan, their decision to do it with as little fanfare as possible. “I swear the bedroom is the worst. Emily in the chat says ‘make a box fort’ that’s a brilliant idea.
“Nope. I can see you getting excited about it Phil but honestly, we’d have to stack stuff so high cus we’re like giraffes and it’s just asking for trouble.”
“You’re no fun.” Phil pouts.
“I’m tons of fun.” Dan insists, followed by an improvised little hum, “God the chat is going so quickly.”
“The bed.” Phil says, deadpan. “The bedroom.”
“Yeah yeah, old news. Keep up guys, its 2018, stuffs gone down in the past year, haven’t you been paying attention?”
“Let’s do some premium messages.” Phil says and then tips his head sideways slightly as if checking to see whether Dan agrees.
“Trashpile324- Good username there- says ‘Get a dog’.” Dan reads, “Maybe,” he shrugs, ”at some point.”
“Doggo!” Phil enthuses, “Cus, garden.”
“Yep. Totally Shibe-friendly the new garden.”
“Or corgi.” Phil insists.
Dan rolls his eyes. “Eternal debate” he says to the camera, “Don’t even think about what happens when we try to name it.”
“What’s wrong with Thor?” Phil asks
“Nothing exactly, except I’m not shouting Thor in the park when we take it for a walk.”
Phil laughs, tongue poking between his teeth.
“It’s got to be something that’s reflective of us as people and of the dog’s personality.”
“Rebecca says ‘if it’s this hard naming a dog can you imagine them with kids’ yeah I know! It’s difficult cus it’s like a huge responsibility naming something or someone. They have to live with it. Forever.”
“Whatever man, they can change it if they want to. No pressure. Like, they can be whoever they want to.”
They both giggle and they leave the subject there, move on to other things. That’s enough for one show, and the chat is exploding as it is. They don’t ignore it, not this time. And they don’t cover anything up or lie or hide, but they don’t come right out and say it either.
It’s all there though. Between the lines, hinted at, implied, in the footnotes. It’s there if you look, and this is what they’ve decided. Because the time for explaining and going over everything has long since passed. They were never going to be like that anyway.
Instead they decide to just, live. To just be. And it’s easier than they thought it could be, quieter and calmer than they’d thought possible.
Eventually they say ‘babe’ in a live show without it being a dreadful mistake. They slip ‘boyfriend’ and ‘love’ into conversations without much fuss. Letting it trip over into ‘husband’ and ‘family’ a few years after and ‘dad’ after a few more.
It happens without acknowledgment that it is, worked into the tapestry of their lives as if it had always been there, threaded through their world in ways that make you squint to see how anything is different to how it had always been.
They decide, and they keep deciding.

Checking Out the Thinkware F800 Pro Dash Cam
Once known primarily as a source for hilarious and bizarre slice-of-life videos from Russia, dash cams have become a popular aftermarket accessory for drivers in the U.S. in recent years. Not only can these devices provide key evidence if you get into an accident, but they can record your in-car adventures, serve as round-the-clock surveillance, and much more. We were offered the chance to check out one of the latest cameras on the market, the Thinkware F800 Pro, and jumped at the opportunity for some hands-on experience.
What it is
Introduced late last year, the F800 Pro builds on the original F800 with new features such as cloud connectivity, an enhanced parking mode, and 128-gigabyte micro SD card compatibility (the F800 can take up to a 64-GB card). The Pro model continues to sport a low-profile design that mounts discreetly on your windshield, and it gets the same extra-sharp Sony Starvis sensor with 1080p HD resolution. The camera also has what Thinkware calls Super Night Vision 2.0, which really makes a difference in low-light situations. Nighttime footage from the F800 Pro always looked much sharper and brighter than I expected.
The F800 Pro is Wi-Fi-enabled, allowing the unit to connect to a free Thinkware Cloud app on your smartphone. Through the app, you can access videos, change settings, and view a live feed from the camera—though only when your phone is within range. What caught my attention when I started reading about the F800 Pro were the advanced safety features it offers. Though such features as forward collision alert and lane departure warning are commonplace on modern cars, the potential to add them on an older vehicle piqued my interest. More on how they work later.
Installation
The F800 Pro came with everything needed to install in our test car, Motor Trend’s long-term Kia Stinger. First, I needed to position the rectangular plastic mount, which is where the unit attaches. California law allows windshield-mounted dash cams to be placed within a 5-inch-square area in the upper middle portion of the windshield (check your own state’s laws before installing). The mount is backed by 3M VHB tape, which holds the lightweight camera securely to the glass. Once in place, the camera wasn’t visible from my driving position, as it was hidden by the rearview mirror. The camera easily unclips from the mount to better access the SD card slot or if you want to use it in multiple vehicles.
Thinkware provides a 12-volt cigarette lighter adapter with a long cord, but you can also hardwire the dash cam with an optional kit. The latter method is the only way to use the F800 Pro’s parking mode surveillance features. We went with the plug-and-play option as we didn’t want to make any permanent modifications to a press car. The cord is several feet long. In my case, that was more than long enough to run along the headliner, tuck in under the B-pillar trim, route behind the glove box, and plug into the 12-volt socket in the center console. Apart from the excess cable, which I bundled together with a twist tie and hid in the cubby where the cigarette lighter resides, the installation is pretty stealth. There is one section of cord showing by the passenger-side B-pillar that gives it away, but with more effort I’m sure I could find a way to hide that as well. It took one staffer who drove the Stinger for the weekend a couple of days to notice the dash cam was in there. From outside the car, you won’t immediately notice the device on the windshield thanks to its all-black housing, slim design, and the relatively small footprint of its mount. Not bad for half an hour’s worth of work. The F800 Pro is a two-channel system, meaning you can pair it with the optional rear-facing camera. Naturally, a second camera would add time to the installation process.
Living with the F800 Pro
Because the camera installs so discreetly, I hardly ever noticed it was there. That is, after I disabled the welcome message that would play every time I started the car. That message prompts you to connect the device to your smartphone and gives you instructions on how to do so. That’s useful information the first time you need to connect, but it’s unnecessary and annoying every time after. The camera records continuously from the moment you start the car (or click the ignition to accessory mode), breaking up your trip into 1-minute clips that are automatically overwritten based on age when the memory card is full. If the device detects an impact, it flags that part of the recording and saves it to a separate folder as a 20-second clip. You can adjust the sensitivity of the built-in G-sensor through the app, which I opted to do because even speed bumps and potholes would trigger the sensor and sound an alert.
To view the footage from the day without removing the SD card, I could simply connect my phone to the camera and wade through the many files in the continuous recording folder. This could make finding a specific moment tedious, as most of the thumbnail images will look similar. Luckily, the camera has a manual record button that makes it much easier to capture the plate number of the truck that cut you off or a road rage incident with viral potential. When you record manually, the camera creates a file in a separate folder that begins 10 seconds before you hit the button and records for another minute. So you can hit the record button after the fact and still catch whatever it is you wanted to film. It helps, too, that the button is the largest on the camera, making it easy to find without looking.
About those safety features
Thinkware’s safety features, including lane departure warning and forward collision warning, have been available on past models, and the F800 Pro represents the latest application of the technology. In order to use the features, you must first align the camera so that the lens points dead center down the hood. The live viewer in the smartphone app has grid lines to help you position the camera. Once it’s in place, you only need to enable the features in the app to start using them.
How do they work? Well, if you’re expecting the same performance as radar-based OEM systems, you’ll be disappointed. After about a month of driving with it on, the forward collision warning rarely proved useful. Thinkware says the camera calculates following distance in real time and issues up to three audible warnings if it thinks you’re getting too close. The F800 Pro has both regular forward collision warning, which operates at speeds above 30 kph (roughly 18 mph), and an urban forward collision warning that works below that speed. Each can be adjusted through the app via three levels of sensitivity. But no matter which settings I chose, the feature never worked well. On the lowest sensitivity, the low-speed warning would rarely trigger during my one-hour, all-traffic commute. The same was true for the high-speed warning without traffic. Even at the highest sensitivity, the warnings would always sound after I was already on the brakes—too late to be of any use in a real emergency.
The lane departure warning feature works well, sounding a subtle alert when you cross the lane markers. However, because the system isn’t integrated with the car, there’s no cancelling the warning automatically when you use your turn signals. So every time you change lanes, you’ll get an alert. It might be best to reserve this feature for long drives, particularly at night when you’re more likely to get drowsy and drift out of your lane. Setting the alert to only go off above 45 kph (roughly 28 mph) would also help avoid unnecessary warnings.
The last safety feature works very well, but its usefulness is debatable. Front vehicle departure warning monitors the car ahead of you when stopped. As soon as it moves, an alert sounds to tell you to move, too. The feature worked flawlessly every time, issuing a faint chime as soon as the car in front started to roll forward. In traffic, the warning was more annoying than it was helpful, as I’m always watching the car in front of me anyway. The only time it did come in handy was at stop lights, when my gaze would occasionally wander from the vehicle ahead. Having the dash cam gently nudge you is better than getting honked at from behind, I suppose. In this phone-addicted age, perhaps some drivers will find this feature useful, though keeping your eyes on the road is still the best policy.
What else can it do?
The F800 Pro has many more features that I didn’t get a chance to experience. Parking mode, which requires hardwiring, acts as a security camera when parked. The dash cam will normally record whenever it detects motion, but you can also select time lapse mode, which records constantly at two frames per second rather than the usual 30 fps to reduce file size, or energy saving mode, which records only when an impact is felt so the device won’t drain your battery if you leave your car parked for long periods of time.
Despite the extensive use of the term “cloud” in Thinkware’s marketing, you cannot upload videos to or stream videos remotely from a cloud service like you can with a few other high-end dash cams. But if you have a portable Wi-Fi hotspot, a hotspot on your phone, or one built in to your car, you can take advantage of some other potentially useful features.
The Driving Impact Notification feature will send push notifications through the Thinkware Cloud app when the cam detects a strong impact while the car is moving, also providing its location. Geofencing lets you set a driving radius for your vehicle. That way if you let your teenager borrow your car, you’ll get an alert if they venture outside the predefined area. The Locate Vehicle feature lets you track your car almost in real time. The vehicle’s location on the map is updated every 10 seconds along with its speed and direction of travel. But not all of the camera’s GPS features require an internet connection. The Safety Camera Alert feature will warn you if you’re approaching a speed camera or red light camera, so long as your unit’s software is up to date and it knows where they are.
Verdict
The Thinkware F800 Pro offers excellent picture quality (especially at night) and an abundance of features—most of which work as intended. However, with the front-facing camera selling for around $330 and the rear-facing camera costing another $100, it’s far from being the cheapest setup on the market. If all you want in a dash cam is the ability to record your daily drive just in case something happens, there’s a wide selection of products that fit the bill for $200 or less. But if you like bells and whistles, you may find comfort in the F800 Pro’s long list of additional capabilities.

Scary Statue Stories | Top 5
Scary Statue Stories | Top 5.:Hello everyone, what are your feelings about statues huh I quite like them especially those big ones you see in the middle of cities they're nice some people don't like them though they even give them the creeps they might even see them move in the corner of their eye but that can't be true right that would be absolutely terrifying wouldn't it  this here guys is the Scary Statue Stories | Top 5 starting over.
Scary Statue Stories | Top 5.
5. Jesua.
'Scary Statue Stories | Top 5' In this article we will discuss a significant number five jesua. now we have Jesus this image comes from a chapel of Saltillo in Mexico the camera person is filming a statue of Jesus which is inside a glass box as the camera zooms in this happens Jesus appears to open his eyes the camera then pans off to the right for a moment after a few seconds jesus's eyes closed this clip blew up on social media with some people saying it was a miracle other people said there had to be some sort of explanation for it but everyone was a little bit creeped out one
investigator said the clip had been examined for weeks by 20 different specialists who found no evidence that it had been tampered with however there have been many videos uploaded online claiming to prove that it is a fake you guys to check it out and let me know what you think.
4. Snow White.
Scary Statue Stories | Top 5' In this article we will discuss a significant number 4 snow white. now we have snow white and not much is known about this clip you're about to see which kind of makes it creepier in a way I can tell you that it's from Mexico during the 1990 the person filming appears to be visiting some sort of kids
theme park or exhibition at night that contains statues he walks up to the snow white one apparently transfixed by just how creepy it looks well it got a lot creepier when
this happened what obviously the guy freaks out I would too he ran away so we never got another look at Snow White the whole thing is still a mystery perhaps that's why this clip has been viewed over half a million times alright.
3. Ancient Egyptian.
Scary Statue Stories | Top 5' In this article we will discuss a significant number three Ancient Egyptian. now we have the ancient Egyptian I'm sure you guys have all heard of the ancient Egyptian curses right they say that removing artifacts from the tombs there will bring terror and death to those involved well staff at the Manchester Museum in England were a little bit nervous when they notice one of their statues appeared to have moved they installed a camera to watch it and this is what they saw one of their three thousand eight hundred year old statues was slowly spinning round throughout the day as the museum's visitors stream by they think the reason was that the his footsteps had caused my new vibrations that knows the statue out of place other people still argue that this wouldn't be possible and it's actually a sign of some sort of ancient curse.
2. Floating Statue.
Scary Statue Stories | Top 5' In this article we will discuss a significant number two
Floating Statue, now we have the floating statue in a summer of 1985 a hundred thousand people visited a statue of Mary in a small Irish village the statue was nothing out of the ordinary until a few locals there said they had seen it floating in the air then a few dozen people showed up then hundreds and finally thousands went
to see this event when it all started the local police sergeant was very skeptical he went down there to check it out and sure enough there it was floating he was convinced it must have been a hoax something to do with wires perhaps he went and checked behind the statue and found nothing when he tried to move the statue of himself it wouldn't even budge now critics say there isn't enough evidence for this and that it could have actually been a trick of the light interesting story either way.
  1.The Cloak.
Scary Statue Stories | Top 5' In this article we will discuss a significant number one now we have the cloak this clip comes from early 2016 in Vietnam locals into Power notice that a statue of Mary on top of a hill appeared to be moving here you can see the clip with the subtitles of what they are saying now they appear to be focused on her moving cloak it does appear to move that's for sure but this is an incredibly grainy piece of footage aside from the Article all we really have to go on is the adamant reactions of the people who witness this and the erifying by other locals that this is in fact a known solid statute the debates around this article is part of the reason that it has a mass over 700,000 views what do you guys think
what do you think of the whole article in general what are the scary stories do you want me to dig up for you you know I will do it I always seem to do these ones  thanks for reading Scary Statue Stories | Top 5 article and I will see you all in the next article also here's our merch.
