"I just hope that one day, we both can laugh about it, when it's not in our face, won't have to dance around it. Don't drive yourself insane. It won't always be this way" - Skin. Sabrina Carpenter (quote inspo)
Bakugo knew nothing about love. Well, that's what you thought when you first met him.
At the tender age of six years old, he had this habit of pulling you by your arm to drag you around when he wanted to show you something, his little fingers leaving marks in your skin.
When you were ten years old, he started putting his feet in your way so you would stumble and sometimes kiss the floor while he parted himself from laughter.
In the beginning of teenagers' age, thirteen, he used to put his arm on top of your head to make fun of you because he was actually getting tall while you were stuck in your pre-adolescence height.
At sixteen, he ghosted you.
Yep, that's what you read. He ghosted you because he felt this funny feeling growing in his tummy every time he saw you.
Katsuki never knew about love. You thought crying in your dorm because your best friend wasn't acting like your best friend anymore.
You actually believed it.
It all began when you two got into UA. He was excited, having someone to actually compete with? You learned a lot from him (almost against your own will), but after a few years, he considered you a fair opponent.
The feeling inside his guts happened instantly. One day, both of you were returning home from classes, in the train he was behind you, protecting you from all the people that were squeezing into their spots. A baby caught your attention immediately. She was smiling at you, and you couldn't help but make her faces, smile, and bat your eyes at that little baby, gaining a few giggles in return.
Katsuki found that amusing.
He started to see you with other eyes. Helpless eyes. That feeling that woke up one day to another got him desperate, pacing around, fighting with his own thoughts in a manic state.
He had never felt that before. He knew nothing about love.
So he did what he knew best. Ignore.
But we all know him, he isn't the kind of guy who can just let something (someone in this case) go...
He watches you from afar. He has studied your antics, your movements, how you express yourself with other people, with your classmates, with the teachers. He learned about you just by observing and now he could easily read you.
A few days later, you came down from your dorm with puffy eyes. He knew something was off. No one noticed because you made a pretty good job hiding it behind makeup, but he could tell, and he was about to figure out what happened.
You were preparing your breakfast. Something quiet shitty, Bakugo thought, but it wasn't his priority in that moment.
"What's wrong?" He asked directly.
He hasn't talked to you in months, so you were impressed that he decided to share space and air with you, let alone ask something so private.
"What do you care?" No one could blame you for your response. The bastard has ignored you after spending every day with you since you both were six years old. You didn't need his sympathy.
"I care," he said, leaning in the kitchen table, looking at your eyes. They were red and swollen but beautiful too. He had forgotten how you looked like up close. The butterflies in his stomach woke up instantly, but he didn't fight them this time.
"I'm not having a good week, that's all" you explained pouring some artificial cereal on your bowl.
He took that from you and exchanged for granola and oatmeal.
"I hate seeing your face like that. After class, I'm taking you to that ice cream shop you like, " he said nonchalantly like it wasn't one of the biggest gestures that he had done since you came to UA.
You couldn't help but smile. Maybe you could fix your relationship after all.
"It's winter, Katsuki," you stated, testing boundaries.
"Yeah, as if that had stopped you before" he rolled his eyes and flicked your forehead.
In the end, after he grabbed you by the arm and tossed you all the way to the ice cream shop, you came with the conclusion that Bakugo Katsuki knew about love in his own way and you were more than ready to explore that path alongside him.

Getting woken up by his child
Includes- Toji, Sukuna, Nanami, Gojo, Geto
A/N- Toji's part is from my previous blog
Sukuna
"Get out" Gripping the poor boy by his shoulders, only making him kick and squeak for you even more. He was sick and tired of his son coming to wake you up in the middle of the night. Especially when it wasn't anything important. He treasured his alone time with you, anywhere away from his offspring who did nothing but terrorizing him.
"Get off!" Trying to slap and kick his father, taking the boy out of the shared bedroom, dropping him onto the ground before closing the door on him. The pink haired man walked back to your sleeping body, smirking at the sound of his son's pleas.
Nanami-
"Why do you need mummy?" Rolling over to fair the fair haired toddler, who was climbing onto the bed, trying to use his legs as a handle bar. A giant grin appearing on his face as he saw his parent. "Papa!" Hands sticking out as he wanted to get on the bed. "Upsies" picking up the kid as he sat him on his chest. Gently pinching his cheek as he waited for a response. "Me hungry" pointing to himself as he expected food to appear. Sighing as he knew that he had to tend to his son's needs but didn't want to leave his beautiful wife. Sitting up as he slipped on some slippers, latching the kid onto his hip.
Geto-
Hands wrapped around your waist as he held you close, his chest touching your back. Feeling the light taps of someone on his shoulders, glancing back to see who the culprit was. None other than his daughter. "Dad" tugging on his hair as it was the closest. "What is it sweetheart?" It had to be pretty important to disturb his sleep. "I wanna sleep in here." Not bothering to put up a fuss as he opened up the blanket towards her, quickly slipping under the covers with her toy. Letting out a puff of air as he felt the her body warmth rub against his back.
Gojo-
The feeling of hands slapping his face woke him up. The infamous grin of his son being the first sight to his day. "What the-" grabbing the child's hand as he inspected it, seeing the fresh colour of blue paint along his hand, knowing that it only meant that it was on his face. Sitting up as he grabbed the closest reflective item, seeing the blue paint adorning his face. His surroundings come to light as he scanned the room, hand prints falling upon nearly every surface he could reach. Knowing that you'd freak if you saw the mess he made. "Isn't blue your favourite colour daddy?" He knew exactly what he was doing with the teasing.
Toji-
The feeling of the duvet being pulled off him as he felt a light weight crawl onto his chest, opening his eyes to see the little black haired girl crawling onto his chest, he onesie somehow falling off her. Watching as she fell off onto the bed, slowly making her way over to you, she didn't even notice that he father was awake.
Standing up as she tried to keep her balance, falling over each time till she made her way to you. Hands falling onto your covered face. Growing annoyed as he saw how you slept so peacefully only to be woken up to your needy daughter, especially since you needed the rest because you always took care of her whilst he worked.
"Leave ya' mother alone" dragging the small baby off you. Much to her dismay as she felt her chubby clothed legs being dragged away. "Ma-ma" crying for you already as she felt his calloused hands grab her. Throwing her onto his chest, holding her legs down to make sure she didn't try to escape. "What do you want?" More like an order to respond, knowing that she probably couldn't say it since she was around 14 months old.
"Mama" pointing to your sleeping body, pouting her lips as she really wanted you. Sighing in defeat since he'd have to leave the comfort of his bed.

Attention- Yan!Caitlin Clark x Reader
"Caity?" You asked, pouting at the star athlete. For multiple minutes now you tried to talk to her, only for either no reply at all or a distant grunt coming out as a response.
It's been months since Caitlin made her move onto you and you rather quickly began to adjust to your girlfriends 'quirks'. She wouldn't have it any other way anyway. You could even just suggest going gift shopping for her and the brunette would explode at the mere idea of you going somewhere without her. It was like arguing to a wall. Given Caitlins tall frame and noticeable biceps, this applied in multiple ways.
But maybe you have been adjusting to quickly. To a point where Caitlin isn't the only one feeling entitled to the others constant attention. To be fair, it's not like you had anyone else to get attention from, so it stung even harder when Caity ignored you.
"I'm leaving-" You could barely mutter your sentence, having slowly crept to the door, before Caitlins head shoots up. "What?"
It wasn't a reaction of sadness, confusion or bewilderment. Maybe they all played parts in it, but mostly it was anger. Anger that YOU would even think about leaving.
Of course, you didn't want to leave. This was all a plan to get the point guards attention and you got it. But what would you do now?
There were barely 5 seconds between you finishing your sentence and Caitlin pinning you against the wall, getting so close you could feel her breath. "You're not fucking leaving"
You didn't respond. For one, how could you respond to this? And second... a dominant Caitlin is the best Caitlin.
"C-Caity-" "What?!" "N-Need you..."
You almost whimpered against her as her grip onto you tightened
"I-I just wanted you"
Caitlin doesn't reply, her eyes darting around your face, trying to think about how she should react. You're desperation for her is pretty cute, but she has to kill the idea of you leaving before it even starts to become real.
As soon as her grip loosens, you instinctively nudge against her, your head fitting against her neck almost perfectly.
For the rest of the day you most certainly had Caitlins attention. She never left your side and payed attention to your every word. But she would always make sure for you to understand who's in charge.
Was it really worth it?
Yes, obviously

Wanna eat your work that's how deliciously you write!!
Recently I saw super sad ask about MC breaking up with RO (gently). If you haven't done this before, could you give us ROs reaction?
BUT THERE'S A TWIST!
In the end ROs also find out that MC done this on purpose to keep ROs out of something dangerous. MC still loves them ofc but they hurt them to protect them,,,,, kinda poetic
So glad you find it tasty, Anon! I will continue to cook this stuff up and feed you even more (but you're gonna have to have a few veggies before dessert).
That is a super sad ask! But I like the twist. As the MC has some difficult things ahead, something like this may come up in the routes, but it's too far out for me to see quite yet. And it may just be MC sneaking off to "handle" something (that they really shouldn't be doing alone).
Oswin:
He can't swallow for fear of choking and goes silent.
MC watches Oswin carefully, noticing that he's started to subtly shake.
"So…that's just it." His voice is breaking.
MC nods, trying their best to keep a straight face.
"You…you put up with me for all this time, I tell you everything, all…all that I've…" Oswin's voice cracks and tears start to roll down his eyes.
There's a ringing in their ears, MC can't stand this, but it's for the best. The world is better with Oswin in it, they have to do this to keep him safe.
"I can't…I can't bear this. It will kill me, MC…we planned a life together. I don't want to be apart." Oswin lands on MC's shoulder, releasing a painful sob.
MC feels their very soul begin to burn. They don't want this either, but it's the best way. They keep telling themselves that. It's for the best.
Zahn:
Zahn takes the news with a cruel amount of stoicism. MC expected some sort of resistance, maybe even tears or a plea. Were they hoping for that even?
MC waits for a response for a while, but Zahn gives nothing away before simply turning around and leaving. MC stands in shock for several minutes before they snap from their daze and go out to find them.
They find Zahn sitting by the brook, watching the water churn by, still quiet and still.
MC sits next to them. "Zahn you need to say something…please."
"Why should I?" Their voice is straining but harsh.
"You let me say my part…it's only fair."
Zahn nods, and then chuckles, but the sound is cruel. "You just threw me away like everyone else did. So, no, I don't know what to say."
Duri:
"You forget how easily I can read you." Duri smirks, folding their arms and leaning against the wall.
MC stares at them. They knew it would be a challenge. Lying to a demigod is stupid at best - then again, so is romancing one. "My choice is still firm."
Duri shakes their head. "It's the choice that is the lie, MC."
"It's still mine to make."
They nod. "That's true."
MC expects more argument on the subject, spotting a peculiar shine to Duri's doleful eyes that's rare to see.
"I guess I will just have to convince you to pick me again then. I did it once before…somehow. Even if you don't want to love me now…you can still love me later."
MC's resolve nearly cracks, but they try to give nothing away.
A familiar smile splays on Duri's lips, but it lacks the mirth they usually have. "Besides, I have to find what you're hiding, and you know how good I am at that."
Rune:
"No," Rune says.
MC shifts uncomfortably. It has to be now. They have to say goodbye now before it's too late. Losing themselves is one thing, but they can't lose Rune. "What do you mean no? It's the way it is, the way I want it."
Rune's eyes roll, the purple orbs practically glowing. "You're hiding something."
"I am not. I just…we are from very different worlds, this isn't the time - I can't…"
"You can't what?" They fold their arms and stare into MC.
"Be with you like this."
They begin to pace. "Did you learn how to lie from Oswin? Don't feed me lines like that when your voice holds no conviction. Make no mistake, Northbreaker, I know that I am no one's first choice in a lover."
MC barely stifles a rebuttal.
"No one puts up with my shit unless their feelings are genuine, MC. What hurts me the most is not your failure to convince me that you'd rather us go our separate ways - it's that you apparently do not trust me enough to help you shoulder your burdens."
The quiver of their lower lip betrays MC's feelings.
???:
"Would you like to try that again with a straight face?" He smiles. That stupid smug smile that you hate to love. It doesn't reach his eyes and it's the most condescending look he has in his arsenal.
"We can't do this anymore. I was infatuated, it's not-"
"Real?" he finishes. "Not real love?"
"Yes."
He tuts. "No, no, my dear. See, I opened all I am to you - that is a door you cannot close easily. Don't mistake the phrasing as a threat - if you truly wish to part from me, then do so. But, don't lie to yourself or to me."
"I'm not-"
"You are spectacularly bad at it." He affirms, his voice hard. "You knew you would not be able to, but you still tried."
MC stands there feeling like a scolded child. He always flips everything on its head.
He sighs. "I am sorry. I am hurt. I know you are hiding something, but I do not wish to imagine my world without you. Please, just let me help."
There you are Anon! May the angst nourish your wicked and lovely soul. ^_^

So I didn't want to pile in to the original post bc I can do without the aggro but there's one going around rn about how dumb it is that when you call white people in wherever a coloniser they will try to get out of it by saying they're Scottish or something.
And sure, that's silly, in that there's not a meaningful difference between an Australian or an American or something with Scottish ancestry vs English, however:
I do think that part of what's happening here is that people are reaching for bad justifications for something that they correctly intuit to be correct: namely, that while it's fair to talk about their occupying relatively-privileged positions in a racist system, and fair to identify the legacy of colonialism in that system, fair to call indigenous people today still colonised even, it actually isn't fair or reasonable to call some random contemporary white person a coloniser!
They were literally just born there, same as you. They did not get a say in whether they were born there, or who their parents were. There is no such thing as ancestral guilt. There is no such thing as the crime or moral wrong of being a white person who happens to have been born outside of Europe, because you can't be morally culpable for things you had no control over.*
There is some level on which justice can never be done. The perpetrators of horrific crimes have already died rich and there is nothing we can do about that. Tryna hold random quantum descendents personally accountable isn't going to change that. All that can be done is to try to approach the situation from where we are now and try to make things better and more equal for the people that exist now.
I don't see how this framing is helpful to anyone. All it is is a driver of white guilt, and white guilt doesn't actually help anyone.
*this is totally separate from the idea that you have moral responsibility to help others proportional to your ability to help others. On that basis, if a racist society gives you more power for being white then that means you have more responsibility to help people who were not afforded that advantage. This remains true even if you can prove that your ancestors had nothing to do with colonisation because that's totally irrelevant, the positions of people who exist now is what's relevant.

I'm surprised I haven't really seen anybody talking about the food sourcing theme in dungeon meshi. Like, the very first thing it made me think about when I started reading the manga was like "oh yeah, this really makes you think about food, where it comes from, the work needed to create enough food for one person, let alone a small group, to eat comfortably and nutritiously. Laios even specifically calls out that 'regular' food is also made using shit and dirt, intentionally grounding it in reality and subtly asking the reader to introspect on the food they eat and where it comes from."
Like, it's fair to say kui has the old "world builder's" spirit, it's easy to extrapolate a whole world when you're willing to both ask "how does x mundane task work?" And being willing to give it as fanciful or grounded an answer as you feel is appropriate, food is the central theme, but that sort of thinking extends to every corner of the lore and world building where you can practically begin to trace back a lot of world elements to these basic questions, like "what would happen if there were people who lived for 500 years, what would happen if you fought a creature with two heads" and I think that's really cool-
But like, that core question "where does the food that sustains you come from" is like such a relevant question that we should all be asking ourselves. I suppose it's just that I think about that often, both when I'm world building, and in modern and historical contexts.
In a lot of ways it's alienation of labor, most USAmericans (to keep it at least slightly contained in scope) don't get to know where any of the food they eat actually comes from. At best, you might buy your own groceries and maybe even be able to google some information as to the conditions at the place this food was grown, maybe you're lucky/resourced enough to grow some of your own food in like a garden. At worst you get your food premade and prepackaged and you're even completely divorced from the preparation aspect.
A major symptom of this is clearly shown in dungeon meshi's opening and especially in kabru shuro and even the canaries: when food is taken for granted, it becomes easy to neglect. The party initially wiped simply because they'd not considered how suicidal it was to press onward while exhausted, Kabru is so dissociated and focused that he shuts out most of his own biological signifiers of hunger, Shuro starves himself, equating food with leisure instead of a vital practice to sustain life and energy, and of course there's mister no desires.
It's no mistake that in all of the above cases, it's seemed to be heavily implied that food is either an after thought, or someone else's responsibility, or a simple logistical concern. Senshi's whole rant (in volume 1!!) about "oh the youths of today just buying prepackaged meat wine and bread" is especially tied in to this main theme of "do you know where your food comes from?" By taking it to the next level and asking "do you know why you're eating what you're eating?"
To take a personal side tangent, I was recently diagnosed as diabetic, and it's completely changed my relationship to food on a pretty fundamental level, but I'd say I'd always had a pretty good and healthy relationship with food (after I stopped having an eating disorder but that's a story for another day) so it was an easy enough adjustment to have to start actually thinking about how much of my diet was carbs and things like that, it just became a matter of considering what I was eating and when and why. I'm still not perfect at it and it's still a learning process but I'm working on it.
Anyways, my main theory as to why I've not seen it being pontificated on is just that in general people really hate being asked "do you know what you're eating?" Around these parts in a general fashion, but like, especially with weaponized starvation going on and very real issues of things like food desserts in America, and the fact that we all have to pay for just about every little meal, I think it's important for leftists to contemplate the political implications of meals.
An army runs on its stomach after all. Rant over

i'm a different person and i just wanted to let you know you actively retweet stuff from the voshou (volo x shou/akari) tag, which IS the romantic tag for the volokari ship in japan. even if you say you can't check all images, the romantic ship tag is in the tweets. you retweet from that tag A DAMN LOT and as a volo stan account it's hard to believe you aren't aware of the japanese name of akari. that's the reason i stopped supporting you bc it would be fair if you at least retweeted all ships
This is true.
I think I have been biased by all the Very Not Okay™️ content I've seen. My thought process was probably "This art is one of the worst things I've ever seen *trauma forever* > oh this piece is fine and not deranged at all > I guess it's okay and I want to be as exhaustive as possible" and this was before I knew about shipping. I'm very new to this, and was very oblivious "they are really good friends"-like. Someone had to explain me the ship tag stuff in DM
Now that I write it I realise the dissonance between what I know now and my policies. I have not revised my rules according to my new knowledge, and I'm in the wrong for that. I am deliberately ignoring the tags to only focus on the art content, and filter based only on that, and I see how that can be a problem. It's not coherent with my previous statement. What do y'all think ? Should I change that ? Should I ban the tag entirely ?
I do not understand your last sentence though. How am I not fair to other ships ? I do RT appraisal and trainwreck and whatever shows up and is not sensible content so ??? you lost me
Anyway thank you for the feedback ! I cruelly lack of it, and would possibly not have realised because nobody thought about telling me dfjhkjqdhfkgjf

want to give my two cents on the AI usage in the maestro trailer--
i think seventeen doing a whole concept that is anti-AI is very cool, especially as creatives themselves i think it's good that they're speaking up against it and i hope it gets more ppl talking about the issue. i also understand on a surface level the artistic choice (whether it was made by the members, the mv director, or whoever else), to directly use AI in contrast to real, human-made visuals and music in order to criticize it. i also appreciate that they clearly stated the intention of the use of AI at the beginning of the video
however, although i understand it to an extent, i do not agree with the choice to use AI to critique AI. one of the main ethical concerns with generative AI is that it is trained on other artists' work without their knowledge, consent, or compensation. and even when AI generated images are being used to critique AI, it still does not negate this particular ethical concern
the use of AI to critique also does not negate the fact that this is work that could have been done by an actual artist. i have seen some people argue that it's okay in this context because it's a critique specifically about AI, and it is content that never would have been done by a real artist anyway because it doesn't make sense for the story they're trying to tell. but i disagree. i think you can still tell the exact same story without using AI
and in fact, i would argue that it would make the anti-AI message stronger if they HAD paid an artist to draw/animate the scenes that are supposed to represent AI generated images. wouldn't it just be proof that humans can create images that are just as bad and nonsensical and soulless as AI, but that AI can't replicate the creativity and beauty and basic fucking anatomy that's in human-made art?
it feels very obvious this was not just a way to cut corners and costs like a lot of scummy people are using AI for. ultimately it was a very intentional creative decision, i just personally think it was a very poor one. and even if some ethical considerations were taken into account before this decision, i certainly don't think all of them were. at the very least i feel like the decision undermines the message they want to convey
i would also like to recognize that i myself am not an artist, and i have seen some artists that are totally on board with the use of AI in this specific context, so clearly this is not a topic that is cut and dry. but generative AI is still new, and i think it's important to keep having these conversations

Oh you've heard of me? That's good to hear.
But I feel like no one showing up on your shift is better since then no one bothers you and such. :)
-✨ Anon (Sparkles Anon)
I keep an eye around. I try not to look at everyone else's blogs too much, but I see something here and there. I know there's you, a cat, a rabbit.. two actually, maybe? I think I saw a snail once? Things seem very chaotic over in their sphere. I'm taking my peace while I can.
So in a very similar sense, yeah, it is I guess! When I'm not exhausted coming in, I usually spend days like that watching a bunch of crappy old movies we have stashed in the back; there are some real gems back there if you know where to look.
Not to imply they're actually good films, by the way. I do just mean astonishingly terrible. Like a car crash where all the cars involved are clown cars or something suitably stupid like that...

the type of bot followers I've been getting recently are different from the old ones
they old ones were called something like "kayla95573735" or other conventional female name, or they were "vik558dfght" absolute nonsense. of course, you click them, and there's a semi-provocative banner image of a woman, and then either nothing at all in the blog itself or a few scattered reblogs of random stuff.
now i get "keith5684564" "edwardjfkghhg" and even though the names are now typically male ones the images are still of women various women in the typical provocative poses and entirely empty blogs
I guess the bots realized no one believes they're really women so might as well make a sham attempt at credibility and just announce that oh yeah they're run by guys? (which of course they're bots soooo lol)
or maybe the bots were getting too many messages for "kayla" and thought that if they're "keith" instead at least people won't message them so much
kind of funny imagining a bot getting so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of "hey baby dm me" in its inbox that it redesigns its identity hehehehe
