#I experience many forms of enbian attraction

Recently was told that being attracted to women and enbies "doesn't count as attraction to multiple genders," and that if you're attracted to women and enbies, you "should just identify as lesbian or straight."
As if nonbinary people are just an extension of women. As if nonbinary genders aren't real genders. As if enbian attraction is just an extension of sapphic or romeric attraction instead of a valid and beautiful experience in its own right.
And the person who told me this shit was also nonbinary.
I'm so tired.

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what exactly is the issue with the nblnb and associated tags being only full of smut? Hear me out; I'm saying that if those tags are full of posts purely by nonbinary people, then... it feels kind of victim-blamey to point at them and say "hey, why are you only posting smut, that's fetishizing yourself" y'know? I highly doubt that's what you intended, so, I feel like I'm definitely missing something here, because I don't go through any of those tags basically ever. If it's full of mostly Binary people making smut posts and cross-tagging or something, then I absolutely get where you're coming from. I'm not saying that you're wrong, it's just a bit confusing to understand your point without the full scope of context.
(I'm nb myself btw) (also if those tags really are full of mostly smut then I'm not exactly interested in looking into them myself, y'feel? That's why I'm turning to you for the context. Okay thank you have a good day)
It's not a stupid question! It's a very good question actually, thanks for asking 😊
When you see the more binary associated tags, there are many facets of the binary t4t experience. Binary trans people between themselves see themselves not only as sexually valuable, but as platonically, romantically, humourously, theoretically, philosophically. There is a sexual side, but it is clear that there is other forms of value binary trans people have when attracted to one another. It's also a more nagivateable experience for anyone looking for t4t relationships and relatable content that is aiming to not only see sex. Contrastingly, the nb4nb tags are basically only nonbinary people posting only sexual context about ourselves.
Keep in mind, non-binary people knowing their sexual value within themselves and other enben is not a bad thing. However, it becomes a problem when you seek multifaceted representation and community in nb4nb as a diamoric person or you are repulsed by constant sexual imagery and the community is just about sex. It reflects how as an enban you are sexualised and comes across as enben only valuing themselves and other enben through their sexual worth. It can feel dehumanising and potentially exclusive for enben too. This is a learned form of exorsexism; in a world that oppresses and discriminates against you, you are desexualised but also hypersexualised. You may lean into either one for survival. It's not a fault of the individuals, the problem will always lie with the system. Enben are allowed to express ourselves sexually, and this is very important to note. But when you are attempting to seek a multifaceted community that is meant to show the multifaceted nature of enben and our different experiences of diamoric/enbian attraction, it kind of hurts to only be sexualised and see only sex. It reminds of how there is an effort to show the nuances of binary trans life, relationships, love and humanity, but how that effort hasn't been extended to diamoric experiences.
It's not a matter of pushing out or marginalising the sexual side of our community, but bolstering the fact there is so much nuance to enben, our lives, our relationships, our love and our humanity that is outside of sex too.

Gonna do it all in a short of writing info format, as if prompted. And people can do an Ask for further detail.
Numbers of Alterhuman ‘Type I have
I have, depending on how you count flickers, 8 identitype. And a couple hearthomes tied to the ‘types.
1 kintype, 1 hearttype, 1 kardiatype, 1 collectively linked vaguetype, 1 para-linked hearttype, 1 vagueflicker, 2 archetrope (1 paratrope, basically paratype + archetrope).
Awakening When
The “when” of awakening is always a weird one. I had always on some level know myself to be nonhuman identifying. But I learn the word dragon before 10 years old, learned what sort of dragon I am roughly a near decade after, and then have more discovery for new forms as a shapeshifter. My “awakening” of the kintype self is gradual. For my other identities, they all happened during my years within the alterhuman community, so within the recent 5 or so years.
The Sources
For myself, I’m not found within known media, or myth or folklore.
My hearttype is from fiction, as well as me and my headmate’s collective vaguetype. My flicker and the paratrope as well.
My kardiatype, that’s a tough one. The perception of realness lies within individuals. And to me, that was very real, in a way. I guess spiritually metaphysical folklore would fit.
My linked hearttype is from myth, more commonly tied to symbolic heraldry.
My other archetrope is also arguable, potentially historical, but it is a role.
Enjoyment of Alterhumanity
I very much enjoyed all the experience and exploration I had with my various identitype. It made life interesting, and contemplating existence is but a natural course of being. To put simply, I enjoy being a alterhuman.
Origin Theory
I don’t usually bother with identifying what or how or where my identitype came from. Nearly, if not all, of them are tied to one another, which also influenced their origin in a way. What do you say about a paratype that seem solely psychological, when it was based off of a metaphysical ‘type? All of my identitype are spiritual, psychological, metaphysical, and whatever other origin theory people use, there’s probably some paralell for me to draw as well.
Belief and Faith
This is yet another tricky one. I think on some level I’m a bit agnostic, but also I do believe in a lot of stuff. I’m brought up with buddhism, and some other folklore and beliefs that may have influence from taoism and shintoism. I believe in alternative universe amd multiversal world, and I do believe in magic and ghosts. I do not know if my belief has any bearing on my identities.
Queering the Queerness
I’m nonbinary solarian maverique.
I’m demipan, unsure the romance or sexual composition. I have inclination towards enbian, and I guess I’m diamoric.
I say I’m ambiamorous.
I don’t know most of my identitype’s gender or attraction type, though it seem like my kardiatype is somewhat masculine-neutral in a nonhuman way. My fictohearttype, I align with the idea of them being genderfluid, even if canon says man. Besides my archetrope, which is also masc-aligned but human way, the rest are vague nonhuman, if there even is gender involve for them. I don’t really bother feeling out the attraction.
Gearing Up
The only item that I can call gear, is my fuzzy fur tail that’s my(kintype) tail.
Gosh, must I write kintype as if it’s something separate from me every time??
I want to get more stuff in the future. I really want a Uzushio whirlpool forehead protector.
Queer Community
Heck yeah I’m lgbtq+! Kinda answered that up above, oops.
The Shifting
I experience many type of shifts, most often phantom shift. I’ve had mental—berserk shift, dream shift. Donno if I have had envisage or sensory shift, and I think I have had astral shift, but that is so confusing.
Alterhumanity Slice-Of-Life
On the daily, I am a near perma-shifted dragon. I don’t really know what it’s like to not live as I am, because I grew up with my draconity as a very constant thing, sometimes my family have inside joke about me being a dragon. Usually I’m even more creature-like when interacting with my partner, and occasionally have a hard time not growling or make creature noises outside. There is certain thrill with acceleration in a vehicle, especially with the windows down, or while being stealthy. Ocean draws me in, and despite occasional nightmare and potential added exhaustion, I always loved having lucid dreams. Not sure if that’s tied to my alterhumanity or not.
I donno, it’s hard to clearly see what is attributed from my alterhumanity, and what isn’t. Is my love of birds a paratype feeling? Is my penchant for stealth game due to my archetrope? I mean, my love for orange everything is definitely kinity related.
Early Bird or Night Owl
No idea. Many of my identitype operate outside this society or this reality. Even the human hearttype, I have no idea of their internal clock.
The Knowledge of Self, A Chronology
Since I can remember, I’ve always been a dragon. So roughly 3 decades.
For knowing about my kardiatype, I’d say roughly for 16 some years.
As for the rest, roughly within the 5-6 years.
Otherborn, a Discourse
Because of my kardiatype, I’m really uncertain if I may be born with my draconity and later realized, or not born with my draconity but had enlightened to the fact, aka awakened to my draconity. That’s a silly debate and only a source of insanity.
The rest of other identitype I’m not sure about. There has been seeds for some of them before I have the terms provided by the alterhuman community, but it’s hard to tell. I know I said the “awakening” to be recent, but I count the “naming the feelings” to be a sort of awakening. In actuality, regarding ninja, hearttype, which in turn is tied to the paratype feeling of kitsune, all these I’m uncertain if they had been there before I’m aware of them this life.
Dietary Preferences
I believe my love for seafood, especially raw fish/sashimi, is due to my kardiatype. My love for the Japanese cuisine could partly be attributed to the kardiatype, potentially my hearttype, and where my archetrope came from.
Friendship is Magic
I have alterhuman friends that later become irl friends. But majority of them are online. Tis the unfortunate thing.
Home is Where the Heart Belongs
As a dream dragon, my natural territory is the place between the awake and unconcious mind.
My kardiatype came from the ocean, and I felt drawn to the ocean because of that. So did possibly my hearttype. The two are also tied to the land of the rising sun.
Our vaguetype belongs to the star and cosmos.
My para-heartlink and paratrope feels more your typical “mystical creature in the woods” vibe, so perhaps that is their natural habitat.
“Here we are again” 🎶
When folks talk about “being a animal”, you have to assume they are talking about animality, because otherwise, human is also by definition, an animal.
But I’m a bit spiteful (or a lot) towards these sort of question that can be unintentionally exclusionary.
Simply, I am not, and a couple of my identitype are not, some are. My hearttype is. My kardiatype isn’t. My para-heartlink is, kind of. My paratrope isn’t, my archetrope is. Our vaguetype isn’t. Really not sure how to categorize my vague-flicker.
If you know the respective ‘type (hint, they are on my profile description), you will understand my cheekiness.
Alex's alterhuman ask game!
Reblog this post to let others ask you question(s)!

different sexualities/genders and usage of pronouns~
author’s note- if any of this information is incorrect or offends anyone, please feel free to pop into my inbox or dm me to let me know and i will fix it asap! also, if you have any identities to add, dm/send an ask about their description and i will do some research and then add it to this post!
_________
there are so many different sexualities, genders, pronouns, and identities in this world, and i know that sometimes it can be confusing. this is meant to help explain a few of them!
_________
SEXUALITIES
homosexual- a person sexually and/or romantically attracted to people of the same gender as them.
lesbian- a woman (whether intersex, cisgender or transgender) who is sexually and/or romantically attracted to women. lesbian is can be an umbrella term for all gender identities who are attracted to women.
he/him lesbian- a person who uses he/him pronouns but is still a homosexual woman.
they/them lesbian- a woman or nonbinary person who uses they/them pronouns and is sexually and/or romantically attracted to women.
gay- a man (whether intersex, cisgender or transgender) who is sexually and/or romantically attracted to men. this term is also used at times by people of other sexualities within the LGBTQ+ community who are attracted to the same sex as a slang. for example, many bisexual women use the phrase “i’m so gay” whenever they see a woman they’re attracted to, even if they’re technically a bisexual, and not a gay. this term includes people who use different pronouns but still identify as men, or do not identify with a specific gender but are attracted to men.
bisexual- a person who is sexually and/or romantically to multiple gender identities, but not all genders. for example, a women being attracted to women, men, and nonbinary folks. a common misconception is that bisexuals are only attracted to men and women, not any other identities. this is not true for all people, just some. another misconception is that bisexuals are transphobic, which is the untruest of all untruths, because not only is that implying that transgender peeps are not the gender that they identify with. it also implies that attraction is the only form of respect, along with being incorrect, as many bisexuals are attracted to transgender peeps. sometimes bisexual is an umbrella term which people use even if they are attracted to more than one gender, whether that be some or all. bisexuality can be divided into two categories- attraction to same and unsame genders.
pansexual- a person who is sexually and/or romantically to all gender identities. sometimes people prefer to describe themselves as pansexual if they base attraction off something different than gender entirely. some people who are attracted to all genders still use the term bisexual- this is just a preference.
asexual- a person who does not feel attracted to the idea of sex and/or are repulsed by it. asexuals can still experience romantic attractions, they just don’t desire people sexually. asexuals can still have sex, watch porn, or engage in sexual activities, it just doesn’t give them the same thrill as it does for non-asexuals. some asexuals may not feel no sexual attraction at all for some gender identities, but be sexually attracted to others.
demisexual- a person who does not feel sexual attraction to a person unless they have formed a strong emotional bond with them first. demisexuals may not feel sexual attraction to all genders, and may only need an emotional bond with some gender identities to experience sexual attraction.
queer- a term that refers to people who do not identify with any particular sexuality label and/or reject cultural norms surrounding sexuality. this term can be used if you are unsure of your sexuality, but know that they are not heterosexual. it is also an umbrella term that spans all sexual identities within the LGBTQ+ community. people with complicated sexual identities often use this term because explaining themselves becomes exhausting after a while. nonbinary peeps use this term because some terms, like lesbian and gay, would be inaccurate if they used them. however, they can still use those terms. they’re cool like that :)
panromantic- someone who experiences romantic attraction to all genders. someone could be panromantic but also a lesbian if they are able to experience romantic attraction to all gender identities but only sexual attraction to women.
aromantic- someone who does not experience romantic attraction
omniromantic- someone who experiences romantic attraction to all genders, but has a distinction or preference between them. for example, feeling attracted to nonbinary peeps but also women, however preferring nonbinary peeps and feeling a different sense of attraction between those two identities.
biromantic- someone who experiences romantic attraction to two or more genders, but not all genders.
pluralian- a term that refers to anyone who experiences romantic and/or sexual attraction to more than one gender.
viramoric- a nonbinary peep who is attracted exclusively to men.
enbian- a nonbinary peep who is exclusively attracted to fellow non-binary peeps.
feminamoric- a nonbinary peep who is exclusively attracted to women.
polyamorous- a person who has the capability or desire to be in relationships with more than one person. polyamorous people can have any sexuality.
_________
GENDER IDENTITIES
transgender- a term that describes people who do not identify with the gender assigned to them with at birth. this might be confusing for some, but basically, your genitalia do not determine what gender you feel on the “inside” or identify with. for example, a woman who has a penis is still a woman, and you can not say they are not.
cisgender- a term that describes people who identify with the gender assigned to them at birth.
nonbinary- someone who does not identify with being a man or a woman. some nonbinary people can identify with being one of those two genders in part, just not completely. nonbinary humans can also be transgender.
stellarian nonbinary- someone who is nonbinary and neutrally aligned, and does not lean towards being a man or a woman, however they still identify with having a gender
solarian nonbinary- someone who is nonbinary and male-aligned, and partly identifies with being a man
lunarian nonbinary- someone who is nonbinary and female-aligned, meaning they partly identify with being a woman
nebularian nonbinary- a mix of lunarian and stellarian nonbinary
novarian nonbinary- a mix of solarian and stellarian nonbinary
*the above genders in bullet points are according to the galactian alignment system
agender- someone who does not identify with a gender, or is genderless.
gender queer- a term for people who do not have a normative gender or prefer not to have a certain gender identity.
genderfluid- someone whose gender changes over time. this could be day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month, on an inconsistent schedule, etc.
intersex- a term for someone who is born with physical characteristics that can not be classified as male or female.
_________
PRONOUNS
they/them- someone who prefers to be referred to as they/them
she/her- someone who prefers to be referred to as she/her
he/him- someone who prefers to be referred to as he/him
*any combination of they/them, she/her, and he/him is possible and can be interchangeable. for example, genderfluid people may use he/him one day and then prefer she/her the next. some people may prefer more than one set of pronouns. some examples of this- he/they and she/they
_________
i know, this can be a lot to take in and it can be worry to use the correct pronouns, but most people won’t be mad unless you purposefully mean to offend them.
asking considerate questions is appreciated if you don’t understand someone’s identity :)
if someone says they’re pansexual while also being lesbian and gay at the same time, just go with it, it’s none of your business and who cares?
have a nice day everyone! love you all!!! <3

gryfftech replied to your post “And with that, #Raptormonth and #Birds are Dinosaurs Week are over!”
I feel so out of it, I don't know what half of those terms are. But I still support this month!
I actually really love defining stuff, so @gryfftech, prepare yourself for some rad definitions under the cut
Gay - an umbrella term that applies to anyone who exclusively is attracted to the same gender as themself; however, is often used for men/partial men (such as demiboys) who fit this condition.

Pluralian - An umbrella term for people who are attracted to more than one gender; one who prioritizes, or is proud of, all the genders to whom they are attracted equally; one who celebrates their multiple attraction; the community of people who are attracted to more than one gender; a descriptor of the attraction someone who is attracted to multiple genders feels towards anyone of any gender -> a term that is similar/aligns with “sapphic” and “achillean” and “enbian,” and can be used as a replacement for words such as gay, straight, and diamoric when pluralian/mspec people describe their attraction towards other people
Asexual - Someone who does not experience sexual attraction
Graysexual - Someone who experiences sexual attraction less so/differently than others

Maverique - A gender characterized by autonomy and inner conviction that is entirely independent of male, female, or anything derived from the binary genders which is not without gender or a neutral gender; a distinct and firm Other Gender
Agender - Someone who does not have a gender/experiences no gender whatsoever

Alterous - An attraction that is not entirely or completely platonic or romantic, and is best described as wanting emotional closeness without necessarily being platonic and/or romantic
Queerplatonic - A relationship that is not romantic, but involves a close emotional connection beyond what most people consider friendship/best-friendship; there is also a commitment level similar to a romantic relationship, where people partner up, oftentimes for their whole lives, to go through life together.
Quoioromantic - When someone experiences something between romantic and platonic attraction, but doesn’t know what romantic attraction feels like and doesn’t know if they experiences, or just can’t differentiate between the two
Polyamorous - When someone does not desire to be in a relationship with only one other person. This often applies to the LGBTQ+ community and LGBTQ+ people are often polyamorous, so it was included here (I also am inclined to just include the term in the general community anyway, but that’s Discourse™ so I’ll leave it at that).
Hopefully that helps!

Okay so bear in mind that for many people these labels are extremely personal, and they may have somewhat different definitions than what I am giving here. I invite anyone of these identities to correct me if I got anything wrong <3
Keep in mind many of these are microlabels, and many overlap in some ways
Gay/queer: I’m pretty sure you know what that means lol it can be an identity or an umbrella term
Lesbian: Women attracted to other women
Bisexual: A person who is attracted to two or more genders, who often (but not always) experiences different levels or different kinds of attraction depending on the other person’s gender. For example, I’m bi, and the way I’m attracted to men (often mostly aesthetically and only sometimes romantically) is different than how I’m attracted to women (a little less aesthetically and a little more romantically) and nonbinary people (both aesthetically and romantically to a great extent.)
Pansexual: Attraction to all genders, regardless of gender.
Polysexual: Someone who may not be attracted to all genders (like bi) and is attracted more to the person than the gender (like pan).
Omnisexual: Someone who is attracted to all genders but is attracted to different genders/presentations in different ways.
Asexual: Someone who does not experience sexual attraction. Can be an umbrella term or an individual identity.
Demisexual: Under the asexual umbrella. Someone who does not feel sexual attraction to anyone until a strong emotional bond has already formed.
Lipstick lesbian/femme: If I remember correctly, this was supposed to be a flag for lesbians who’d never been with a guy (pretty invalidating to lesbians who maybe didn’t realize they were a lesbian until later in life.)
Butch: A masculine lesbian, or sometimes I think it can even be a gender identity (I’m not overly familiar with this one.)
Gay male: I think that kinda speaks for itself.
Sapphic: Ever heard of Sappho? The lady from the island of Lesbos? Lol it’s an umbrella term for women attracted to other women (could be lesbian, bi, pan, ace, etc.) It also includes fem aligned nonbinary people attracted to women.
Achillean: The sibling to sapphic, it’s an umbrella term for men and masc aligned nonbinary people who are attracted to men.
Diamoric: I’m not overly familiar with this one but I believe it refers to the kind of attraction nonbinary people experience.
Aegosexual: Has a few meanings, under the ace umbrella – can refer to someone who is solely attracted to fictional characters, and can also refer to someone who feels sexual desire (kind of libido) but does not feel actual attraction to people irl.
Greysexual: Under the ace umbrella, someone who experiences sexual attraction, but only rarely.
Labrys: I’ve seen this one before but I gotta admit I do not know what it means.
Bear Brotherhood: “Bear” is an identity for a gay man (and I believe masc aligned nonbinary people), usually characterized by a big and hairy guy (to the best of my knowledge).
Twink: Similarly to Bear, it’s an identity for gay men (and masc aligned nonbinary people), characterized by a younger, feminine man, often of a small build.
Trixic: Nonbinary people attracted to women.
Toric: Nonbinary people attracted to men.
Enbian: I don’t know what this one means, and it’s actually a flag I’ve never seen before so I’m gonna google it later.
Aromantic: Someone who does not feel romantic attraction. Can be an umbrella term or an individual identity.
Demiromantic: Under the aro umbrella, someone who does not experience romantic attraction until a deep emotional bond is formed.
PoC Pride: A flag especially including/for people of color.
Inclusive: A flag made to show inclusion of trans and PoC.
South African Pride: Pretty self-explanatory lol
Nofinsexual: An attraction to non-feminine people, can be men and nonbinary people, either being androgynous or masculine in presentation.
Nominsexual: Basically the exact opposite of nofinsexual – an attraction to non-masculine people.
Noninsexual: Similarly, this is an attraction to non-androgynous people.
Aegoromantic: Under the aro umbrella. Same as aegosexual, but with romantic attraction.
Greyromantic: Under the aro umbrella. Feels romantic attraction but only rarely.
Queer: Can be an umbrella term or an identity. Someone who knows they are not straight, but either doesn’t want to choose a more specific label (or hasn’t figured out what theirs is yet.) Like I call myself queer when I don’t feel like explaining my other (more nuanced) identities.
Original (pink stripe): The original pride flag.
Victory over AIDS (black stripe): Pretty self-explanatory.
Gynesexual: An exclusive attraction to women that includes men, women, and nonbinary people. It can sometimes refer to a specific attraction to female anatomy.
Androsexual: An exclusive attraction to men, similarly to above.
Ceterosexual: An exclusive attraction to nonbinary people, similar to above.
Quoisexual (sometimes referred to as WTFsexual, which I find hilariously fantastic): Can include being unsure what sexual attraction feels like (so not knowing if they’ve experienced it or not), an inability to understand sexual attraction, having a difficulty distinguishing the different kinds of attraction, and similar things.
Quoiromantic: Same as above, but with romantic attraction (I’m a bit here. Romantic attraction is confusing lol).
Straight ally: Self-explanatory.
Queer chevron: I don’t know what this one means and I’ve actually never heard of it, so I’ll be looking it up later.
Polyamorous: The ability to be attracted to/in love with/have a relationship with more than one person at a time. (That’s me!!)
Femaric: An umbrella term for non-straight attraction to women or fem aligned people.
Mascic: Same as above, but for men or masc aligned people.
