I know before Rings of Power, Amazon had a young Aragorn series in the works; now I’m wondering if the script was sold to Warner Bros who revised it into films and then asked PJ to come direct but
A) why is it multiple “films”. I am not enthusiastic about the idea of Peter Jackson trying to stretch the hunt for gollum (??????) to MULTIPLE films. If anything this feels like it one of the times something needs to be a limited series or something. Also what even are they gonna do for a real plot?
B) why the fuck is Peter Jackson willing to come back to Warner Bros after how much he hated and regretted working on the Hobbit with them?
C) what the fuck. They really are out of ideas with the rights the Tolkien estate sold to them, huh?

"Did you not say that Lorenza was the princess of this domain?
For a princess to be fretting like a nursemaid, knelt beside a bed..
It speaks volumes of the devotion she has towards her lover."
I made it past the 6.2 trial tonight with the help of one of my other friends very kindly queueing for it with me, and the game presented a decent opportunity for a bit of an angst moment.. so I took it!
(To anyone who may be concerned: don't worry, Zero will be okay soon! It's just the immediate aftermath of the 6.2 trial that leads to this situation, but she recovers. That isn't going to stop Lorenza worrying about her, though - a rare instance of actually seeing her so concerned about someone or something.)

I should ask more specifically if you have any thoughts on Marianne Williamson's bid for the presidency and her campaign. She's a bit of a kook, but her PLATFORM seems really solid and definitely might appeal to the "vote republican for the economy!" moderates.
To be honest, I haven't looked up her platform or any of her policies, and I don't care if they appeal to the mushy middle who always wants an excuse not to vote for Democrats because they're "too socially liberal." Considering that whatever candidate the GOP runs, be it Trump or DeSantis or another of their terrible people, will be an unrepentant, unreconstructed, full-out fascist who can't be allowed to win at any cost, any person selfish enough to deliberately increase the odds of that candidate winning, as prominent third-party candidates always, ALWAYS hurt the Democrats, is not a serious figure or someone who should remotely be given any attention or artifical media prominence.

people saying sara snow will give Jace character depth...
You know what gives depth to Jace's character? Having Cregan see what a good prince and worthy heir he his. A capable young man who takes his role seriously. Cregan saw something so special in Jace that he kept his oath even after Rhaenyra and Jace dyed.
And that's what Jace's character deserves. That's what little Jace who asked "Am I a bastard?" deserves. It doesn't matter that Jace doesn't have silver hair & purple eyes. Since Rhaenyra told him "You're a Targaryen. That's all that matters.", Jace took his role seriously, he took his High Valyrian lessons seriously, his training seriously, he studied the political game. He knows what to do and say to get allies.
A boy who desperatly wants to prove himself wouldn't fuuck up so bad by breaking his betrothal, bed and marry the first girl he saw. And to make amends they do a pact. Why would Cregan be loyal to a guy like this even after his death? In Cregan's eyes, Jace already broke an oath and disrespected him in his house, why would he pledge himself to Rhaenyra? That version of the story is a disservice to Jace character, told by someone who never been to Winterfell.

kind of weird honestly for people to get offended by. imagining i gave up on and was pleased by the canonical break up of a ship that literally saved my life to the point of going through the five stages of fucking grief about it without ever bothering to check if anything i said actually matched what people were telling you it said or like. you know. asking me about it directly
