first off, dean’s complexity as a character is very intriguing to me. he clearly has a strong desire to maintain the family structure because he loves sam and john. he truly has nothing else in life besides this family and hunting. but he hides that, and lets john kick him like a dog constantly.

poor sam man. like. give him a fucking break for once. he so desperately wants to get it out and be freed from the business but god damnit he loves dean too much. fuck you john winchester all my bitches hate john winchester.

like obviously john is too absorbed into finding the demon that killed mary that it reflects onto his sons. he’s abusive, DUH, but he still cares for his sons. killing him ends everything, all his work would’ve been worth for something. but NOOOOOI!!! GAY PEOPLE TRIUMPH!!!!!!!

you know what, I REALLY appreciate that good omens s2 lets beelzebub’s actor, an absolutely GORGEOUS woman, look just super disgusting and weird with their rotting teeth and fly hat and wacky messy hair. they’re not pretty. you’re not meant to be horny for this beautiful lady playing beelzebub, you’re meant to see this character and go “eww. but interesting....” not only is she allowed to not be hot, she’s meant to be actively repulsive in many ways, but mostly just cool-looking and like a fully fleshed out entity who has their own distinct aesthetic not designed to cater to the human male tv-viewer gaze.

there's a part of me that is just DYING to write my take on a s1 bucktommy au where tommy's still at the 118 when buck joins but every time i sit down to start it i get hung up on how different they both were back then (especially with tommy being in the closet) and i'm like 🧐🧐 wait how can i even make this WORK the way they do as they are now. bc so much of why i love them in s7 is how well i think it worked that tommy is this settled, confident guy who has experienced so much and developed so much by s7 and is ready to be the one taking big swings in love, and buck has also changed a lot and is actively seeking something missing in himself by the time they meet,,, and them meeting when tommy was still closeted and anxious and resistant to revealing that part of himself while also buck was still closed off to his own issues and trying to bandage over all the problems in his life would have been so different,,,, but at the same time i can't get over how iconic buck getting a meredith gray intern-accidentally-sleeping-with-my-boss arc in combo with discovering his sexuality and his his s1 self-destructive behaviour could have been ??? much to think abt (but also it just goes to show how powerful the character development is on this show that the characters have developed so much over the seasons i'm kissing the writers with tongue)
