₊˚⊹♡ when they’re separated, just put some headphones on to ignore them. every two minutes is “I miss my baby” “I miss my man”. y’all literally just said bye to each other not even a minute ago….

₊˚⊹♡ in a circle with their friends (kiyuu, yuvesa, ivanari, etc), everybody would point out that gojo and mia would have kids first. only cause of how affectionate they are gah leeeee. mia fighting for herself and saying she refused to be a parent at her age and here go gojo with that stupid ass grin on his face. the way gojo lookin, you not beating the allegations pookie

₊˚⊹♡ when they were first crushing on each other, it was a game of frustrating ass fbi. mainly cause mia and gojo rarely crossed paths so they wouldn’t see each other often

₊˚⊹♡ after some months of crushing, and yabbering in their friend’s ears about each other, mia confessed her feelings and told gojo that she might be in love. gojo did nothing but celebrate and told her she felt the same way. though he was way more obvious than mia but y’all know she a lil…..so she don’t be catching hints like that

₊˚⊹♡ small dates are happening about two to three times a week. to help relieve stress and stay connected, they would have a sip and paint, movie night, do puzzles, anything to help ease the mind. sometimes it would get competitive ngl

He considers Louis very fragile and precious and would be angry over someone being mean to him, but Marius?? Armand is not even physically protective over Marius. Their dynamic when it was active required Marius to be the protective and nurturing one, so Armand doesn’t consider Marius someone who he is required to look after, he expects Marius to look after him so I don’t think his empathy extends that far. I think if Armand found out people hated Marius for mistreating him he would be more offended over his own perceived vulnerability then upset over people being mean to marius 💀. And anyway, none of that really matters ultimately bcus I think it’s a silly point to make to suggest that Armand fans like me seriously think he would like me 💀💀. Like Armand would hate me and feel incredibly attacked and uncomfortable by how I talk about him and his relationships, and I think that’s funny and not like, smth that suggests I’m interpreting the character wrong 😭. Overall this show was meh, it’s not as horrible as people tried to make it out to be. Was it boring? Yes, but for some reason I couldn’t stop watching. They focused too much on the pregnancy thing tho like ok? A teen got pregnant whoopty doo that happens like ALL THE TIME. Plus their families are filthy rich they could make that easily disappear let’s maybe focus on pfft idk the boy that got murdered?! The show progressed so slowly I give it a 4/10.

I used to hate Austin Untameable but I replayed and realized that he’s actually not that bad lmfao. He’s super annoyingly patriarchal in the first two chapters, but an older brother that has to grow up quickly to take care of his kid sibling after their parents die, never gets to pursue dreams of his own because he’s just done everything in his power to replace his parents instead, and only realizes he’s working himself to the bone after he literally almost dies….dare I say it that’s so “eldest daughter” coded 💀. Ok. Lemme rant for this. Well it’s not surprising the haters would say that because Douma is a literal sociopath that they assume that he was born as one.

But that’s not true it’s because of how he was raised. People would not care for Douma being abused because it appears that he isn’t, but the truth is, he was abuse and dehumanized. All because of his parents. It was never his fault that he grew up like that. It was the parents. The moment they decided for Douma to be a god figure because of his looks, that’s when you’ll know shit is about to go down. They never treated Douma as a normal human being to begin with.

Especially when the mother killed the father and then the mother kills herself in front of Douma??? Not to mention when he was a child??? Like… did she not consider the idea that a child witnessing all that would traumatized Douma? No. Never. Even though it did not affect Douma that much, but still, they never see Douma as a human since birth. Which is fucked up. And sad.

I see why people view Douma being “pure evil” because he doesn’t feel anything. But he isn’t. Defining pure evil is that you have no sense of morality and mercy. Douma has morality and mercy of a sort because he spent decades “saving” people from tragedy and cruelty of the world. Because he PITIES them, even though he doesn’t feel anything and that he views humans as stupid. He thought eating them and keep them inside of him would be the greatest form of mercy he could offer to his people or anyone he comes across. If he is pure evil, he would NOT stick to his “divine principles” of “saving” people, he wouldn’t be a cult leader to this day if he is pure evil.

Each of the demons have their own struggles and they wouldn’t be the way they are now because of several reasons. You're the only fanfic writer I follow, and just want to ask how you would respond if someone asked you for a change in format in your fic? Is it very rude? There was a fic I was reading that's from a new writer and I couldn't read due to no paragraph breaks between dialog, my eyes activly couldn't follow the convos. I made sure to let them know I loved the story (what I could read, I did love), but I want to be able to read more of it so I asked them to put paragraph spaces between speaking. I guess I wanna know if asking about format is a no-no, the same way unasked for writing advice is?

Hi there! I want to first say that there is a ton of nuance to fanfiction etiquette and my opinion and practices are not the be-all end-all of this discussion. If you want more insight, you can scroll through the # fanfiction etiquette tag here on tumblr and there are lots of people who have thoughts put together that are much more detailed and eloquent than mine! Also, if any other writers and readers want to jump in the replies/reblogs of this with your own (polite) thoughts, go for it.

My general practice is a no to leaving any type of constructive criticism. I have several reasons for this, some of which may sound more callous than others. For one thing, I never know who an author is. It could be a teenager writing for the first time, and it took them a lot of bravery to post the thing. It could be someone who is writing in a language that isn’t their own, and they don’t have a grasp of grammar/structure yet and they’re using fanfic to practice their skills. I never want to provide unsolicited criticism to someone and potentially prevent them from writing further and getting better at it. Also (and this is the part that might make me sound cold-hearted lol) if I open a fic, and it’s a hot mess—grammar, structure, the characterizations, whatever it is I don’t like—I’m just going to back out of it without saying anything, because as a general rule I don’t have the time or energy to spend trying to offer feedback when I could be writing something myself or reading something I enjoy more. Almost every fic will find its audience, and if there are people who love it and comment, the writer will probably continue writing. If I don’t like it, that’s just not the space for me and I look like a hater by saying so (which I definitely am, but only in private 💀).

If the author specifically ASKS for feedback it’s a different story. You can totally leave comments with criticism if they’ve indicated they’re open to it. If they don’t say either way, you can sometimes gauge how they might react by seeing how they respond to other commenters or if they were receptive to criticism on other works.

And I want to end by saying that this isn’t me telling you you did something wrong! I personally don’t mind people pointing out minor formatting/spelling mistakes that I can fix in a couple minutes. To me that’s something very different than ripping apart my characters or plot or whatever; it’s probably just something I missed in proofreading. That specific author may have appreciated your comment! I’m not them, so I don’t know.

Moral of the story, which I know isn’t entirely helpful, it really does just depend on the writer. You honestly never know how they’ll react. Tone can be difficult on the internet, and sometimes it’s better to play it safe and only say nice things. At the end of the day, fanfic authors do this for free and as a hobby, and if a fic has things you don’t like, you can either choose to ignore them or just not read it 🩷🩷

13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you to write about? What is easy?

this might be a boring answer but I’m not too sure just yet! there is a LOT that I haven’t tried writing about (just as there’s a lot of topics I have tackled in some way or another) so until I actually do more writing or expand the topics I tackle then I just don’t know! I’ve always been very good at tapping into varying levels of hopelessness and how that may present within different characters (caused by trauma, circumstance, mental illness, etc) so writing about that has always come easy, although it does come with its own unique difficulties (basically the affect that writing for long enough in certain mindsets can have on my own mental state)

but there’s so much I haven’t written about!!! so I think that my goal for the next year might be to try and do more actual writing exercises! for someone who wants to improve I don’t nearly do enough. shit, I might even just go back to accepting prompts and forcing myself to churn out drabbles and one-shots all year. who knows!

27. Who is the most stressful character you’ve ever written? Why?

sakura fucking haruno. and she was only ever stressful because of the story she’s in and the way the fandom acts towards her. in any scene where you write her as level-headed then she’s an out-of-character self-insert! if you write her emotional then it’s just par for the course for that useless fucking crybaby am I right? and god forbid you do both to give her the rounded-out characterization that she deserves because then you’re reaaaaally just waving the red flag in front of the sakura haters who Can and Will Find You.

28. Who is the most delightful character you’ve ever written? Why?

this might come as a surprise to anyone who has read roots but I am SHOCKEDDDD with how easy it was and how much fucking FUN I had writing maria. sure I’ve written her before (who better to subtly remind readers in cotn that jasper absolutely has unresolved mommy issues 😌) but I’ve never written from her POV and gotten in her head like this before, and holy shit, who knew that writing a completely unrepentant petty bitch would be one of the undiscovered joys in my life??? I want to write so many controversial characters now. and not to make them less-controversial (because that’s so boring to me) but to really show how far they’d go to reach their goals/etc. ugh. learning how much I love to write maria was such a gift from roots. perhaps the only real gift I got the entire time 💀

30. Talk to me about the role dreams play in your writing life. Have you ever used material from you dreams in your writing? Have you ever written in a dream? Did you remember it when you woke up?

while I'm not a bitch who usually remembers her dreams, nor am I someone who has dreams that're coherent enough to translate into fic, I'm 100% positive that I have written-out dreams as fic before. I can think off the top of my head a naruto fic that was literally a dream I just wrote down and elaborated on, but I can't find it for the life of me (it was a war-arc one shot floating around here on tumblr somewhere). the main role that dreams play in my writing life nowadays are the ones that are inspired/caused by the things I write, as opposed to the other way around.
