This won second place in the "Love" category. I really like the simplicity of this piece. I never actually drew Shidore along with Reina and Kurt before this so I was quite excited to draw them.

I wanted my love entry to be Komugi and Meruem, but I already used Meruem in another entry. I suddenly had the idea to use sibling love as a prompt. Maybe the reason people mistook my "Memory" entry as my "Love" entry was because they viewed it as Alluka and Killua's relationship.

So. Dan has somehow found a small child. A practically newly born ghostling who had literally fallen right on top of him. A ghostling who had practically formed right above him, far away from nurseries and instead above him of all ghosts? 

Him, the Sunkiller? The Worldeater? Jordan Vladimir FentonNightingale-Foley-Manson? Son of Space and War? Bringer of the End?? Seriously, what the hell! Ghostlings shouldn’t even be able to form within other ghost’s Lairs, and he knew for a fact this wasn’t his own ghostling seeing as he wasn’t interested in such things. 

So here Dan is, feeling more confused than he ever has with a newborn ghostling clinging to him and sobbing in his arms about wanting his dad. What even is his unlife right now.

Imagine in Shrek 5 the gang is looking for Puss cuz they need his help for the quest and there in a place when suddenly explosions go off and there’s chaos and music.

An cat laughing is ass off lands near them and is like “oh, hey guys! :3”

And everyone is just “whelp that was easy”

But then fireworks go off and cause another explosion and near them lands another cat??

Everyone is like “wtf” but Puss immediately gets heart eyes and goes “amor!!!❤️❤️❤️”

And now everyone’s mental health is going to have to deal with the fact that omg there’s two of them and where did that dog come from?

For all the criticism unleashed toward Gege (some of which is justified, some of which isn’t) I will never not get down on my knees with gratitude for how he chose to depict Satoru’s passing. Chapter 236 is an indisputable masterpiece — everything from its title, the airport, its connotation as a liminal space to teenage Suguru greeting him first, Satoru’s reunion with Haibara and Nanami and their dialogue. Whoever said that Satoru had bottled all the happiness he had experienced during high school and then sampled from it for the rest of his life, you and I think the same. Despite the tremendous amount of pain it induces, Chapter 236 will always be my favorite.

i want to see kit going to everyday high school, making friends at lunchtime, talking a walk around the devon countryside with mina, training with jem and tessa, learning how to control his powers, finding his own style, exploring his sexuality, going to pride with his school friends and waving the bi flag around like a maniac, taking selfies and using tumblr to look at percy jackson fanart (he's definitely a tumblr user let's face it), i want him making cookies and sharing them with tessa while they have deep chats and do face masks, i need him training how to become a shadowhunter but also just going to the cinema with his friends and being a regular ass teenager, i want to see him just existing, growing and doing ordinary things

As much as I truly enjoy the ways the ygo anime developed and added to Mana's character, I can't help but be left with such a bittersweet pang when I think of her.

Her bond and devotion with Atem and Mahaad were all she had left after the events that led them to their places of rest. The millennium ring that she inherited from her beloved teacher Mahaad was now tainted by not only the bitter pain of his absence but also the hand of darkness. Did it change her? Or was that just the influence of time and the loneliness of losing both her closest friend and her mentor?

It must have been difficult to see Atem's name be scrubbed from existence for her. She knew him intimately, considering the nature of their circumstances. Perhaps her love for her friend was enough to surpass lifetimes; enough to wait thousands of years to reunite with her best friend and her mentor. We never saw Mana make the same open declaration to serve Atem for eternity as Mahaad did, but maybe she didn't have to. Maybe her devotion for them both was enough to be able to reunite with them when they needed her again.

I feel like it’s not talked about or acknowledged enough that in the thousand autumns story, shen qiao is scary.

It noticeably starts with that face stealer (I forget all these names forgive me) and sang jingxing right? He kills the face stealer. He scares the hell out of sang jingxing, severely wounds him, to the point he went into seclusion afterwards and everyone was talking about it in his sect.

And yeah he had other moments of power like when he defended himself against the beggars that came to beat him and Chen gong up. Or that one noble that wanted to take him as a sex shave. (Again I forgot him same, it was like Mu something, my bad)

After that, any time he starts to fight for real with any of the other antagonists, there comes a moment where they’re like “I gotta get away from him” and it’s routinely stated how they feel this intense pressure behind them as they flee, this killing intent emitted from him frightens everyone he’s truly trying to kill.

I love pretty shen qiao art, man’s is gorgeous and otherworldly to be sure, but he became a scary cultivator during his year away from his sect, killing basically everyone who wronged him not because he sought revenge at any given moment, but because they kept coming back and eventually fell to his incredible ability.

While he wasn’t able to defeat hulugu, his power still being beyond shen qiaos, shen qiao still wracked up infamy through fast improvement and not being afraid to kill the ones doing harm.

Even yu shengyan had that moment where he saw how powerful he was and was like “I cannot believe I had this man calling me shixiong I wouldn’t have the balls to do that now, Jesus” lol

He’s mischaracterized so often it’s insane.
