“Rafey!” she shouts through their apartment, as she’s sat on the couch scrolling through TikTok. A cute tiktok idea popped up on her for you page that she desperately wanted to do with Rafe and since it’s her birthday how could he say no.
The door of the living room opens and Rafe appears, wearing a tight Gymshark shirt, which made Yn stare for a second before Rafe clears his throat looking at her with a smirk. “What’s up baby? Or did you call me here to stare at me? Not that I mind.” He winks at her, as she blushes.
“No, shut up.” Yn shyly says, but quickly brings her attention back to her original plan. “I found this cute TikTok idea, can we please do it?!” she kindly asks her boyfriend, giving him a slight pout to try and convince him.
“Babe.” He sighs. “do we have to?”
“You get to make out with me.” Yn smirks, as she notices his expression change immediately.
“Should’ve led with that.” He straightens up, getting ready for whatever she was about to do.
“Okay, so, lemme put my phone here real quick.” Yn excitedly gets up from the couch, placing her phone against a stack of books that were placed on the table. “So, you have to start off-camera, and then once it starts you walk into frame and bump into me.”
“Then I, like, push you away and then you grab me and make out with me.” The girl explains quickly, while looking at Rafe lovingly.
Rafe nods. “Sounds perfect, baby. Turn it on.” He smiles, pressing a kiss on her temple while she gets the TikTok set up.
Once the 3-second timer starts, Rafe gets out of the frame and waits until his cue. The music starts and Rafe walks into frame bumping into Yn, she stares at him confused and pushes him.
He takes a step forward and puts one hand on her cheek and the other on her ass, and he presses his lips on hers— Softly squeezing her ass as he makes out with her, making her let out a soft moan.
After hearing the moan, he pulls away and smirks. “Think the TikTok is done, baby.” He chuckles at her blushing face, completely in a state of shock from what just happened.
“Yeah, TikTok’s done.” She breathes out, turning around to her phone as she feels Rafe smack her ass once more making her bite her lip.
“Post it, princess. On both accounts, let everyone see you’re my girl.” Rafe whispers in her ear.

⋆⭒˚。⋆ SHE'S BACK!

GUESS HE COULDN'T KEEP IT IN, SO HE HAD TO KEEP IT INSIDE! ₊˚⊹♡ dilf!gojo satoru x teacher!reader
tags: smut, unprotected sex, breeding kink, exhibitionism, getting caught, he fucks you while he's on the phone, overstimulation, dumbfication, fluff, gojo has an ex-wife, yuuji is gojo's son, age-gap.
A/N: well, this was surely and adventure and maybe self-indulgent title because guess what?, i'm back baby.
It was a nice morning, he felt clean. Like his life was finally steadying. Even after some stressful weeks trying to get rid of his now ex-wife, he won the trial and kept Yuuji. Poor little boy, just turning 5 years old and he’s already facing all this type of stress. But thankfully he will not be experiencing enduring his crazy mother behavior. Which basically was a gold digger, and a bitch– Not that he would ever say that outloud, maybe with other words? Bastard? Witch? Not that it really matters right now.
He could finally take a break now, just focusing on raising his little boy, and being an old boring 31 year old dad. Life doesn’t sound that bad.
“Daddy! Daddy!,” His son went running to his arms, almost stumbling by himself- clear happiness shown on his face. Quickly, Gojo opened his arms ready to lift the young kid. “Miss Y/N congratulated me on my homework! She was pretty amazed!”
Your name wasn’t unknown to him, Yuuji was very open when talking about his favorite teacher, even though he hasn’t seen you yet- from what he’s been told you’re the kid’s favorite, including Yuuji’s. “I had to talk about who’s my hero, and I chose you!” If this day wasn’t going great, it was now. Because his son's comment just made his whole week, life even.
“Oh look dad!” The little boy pointed towards your moving frame, each time getting clñoser towards them. “Daddy, this is Miss Y/N!” Yuuji kept presenting the both of you. He was really excited to present his two favorite persons to each other- but all Gojo could think of what’s how young and beautiful you looked. He expected someone older, maybe even an old lady with wrinkles and that loving grandma vibes, but what he saw made his heart beat in a way he never thought he would feel ever more.
“Daddy? Are you paying attention?” The little boy gained Gojo’s attention back, face now looking at him again. “I’m sorry kiddo, kinda just zoned out there. What did you just say?”
“Uhh, what was it? Oh! Did I tell you Miss Y/N told me you were a very handsome man?”
“Yuuji!” His gaze moved towards your blushed face, a hand covering part of your face. “I’m so sorry Mr.Gojo, I didn’t intend to say-”
Gojo cut you off before you could continue apologizing “It’s okay, I also think Ms.Y/N is a very beautiful woman.”
Uh, well. So this is how kinda you found yourself in this situation right now.
You swear it wasn’t your intention! You really tried, you really did, but how could someone say no to Mr.Gojo? And mostly because he really showed his attraction towards you. Sending Yuuji with a rose for you every day, and the little boy was rooting for his dad, because dear god- he did not shut up about him, and how happy he would be with a new girlfriend and maybe one he could call ‘mommy’ and give him a sister.
That made you blush.
Not only because the little boy commented on it, and was agreeing- but because it was his dad’s idea.
“You’re so wet, s-shit.” Loud thrusts filled the room, he was fucking you raw on his sofa– waiting for Yuuji’s mom to bring him back, the little boy was eager to come back and ‘see Ms.Y/N and his daddy finally starting to fall in love’
Kids being kids. But, he was right- the both of you were falling in love with eachother.
Gojo throws back his head, immersed in the warmth radiating off your walls and he lets your moans take him to another world. In a haste decision, he slips your dress over your head before tossing it. He mouths at your tits, plump and stiff between his lips, and he hurdles a deeper round of thrusts inside you.
When you get a little too loud, his hand comes over to clamp your mouth, wolf like eyes staring back at you, “Shut it. You don’t deserve to speak.”
His thin white tee that stays a barrier between you and him does not hide the rippling body underneath that seemed to be sculpted by gods. He presses into you, grunting, using you like his personal sex doll and you embrace it, thrive from it, come to it. Your hips contract, slewing in perfect circles, before having your legs fall gradually lifeless as you arousal drip down your thighs.
“Ffffucckkk- oh baby, would you like that? Be full of me and my baby? Make me a daddy again?”
“yesyesyesyes, make me yours Mr.Gojo-”
He pays your climax no mind,a smirk clearly showing on his face while he fucks you on his sofa- You could muffle your screams of pleasure easier here. Turning your head back to face him, you notice now he’s shirtless–taut and shiny from sweat like a large set of Hawaiian rolls–before seeing how quick he is to fit back inside you.
“Good girl.” His husky voice resonates and pushes you back into the sheets. “Good girls get rewards, don’t they?” Your poor fucked up mind couldn’t think clearly now. The way your abused and overstimulated pussy was still taking his rock hard cock gratefully inside you was making every feel giddy. A sudden noise bringing back a little part of your senses, Gojo clearly grunting grabbed his what you suppose phone, and answered. Not bothering to stop his thrusts.
“Yeah?,” His voice sounded almost like a whisper because of how breathy it was. “Gojo? I’m almost at your house- Yuuji wanted some ice-cream and bought some for you and… your new girlfriend?” His chuckle interrupted his ex-wife’s conversation, accompanied with a whimper at the feeling of you clenching on him- overstimulation clearly bringing you back to climax soon again.
A slap was heard from his part of the line, an unbelievable laugh coming from his ex-wife line, clearly noticing what was going on and then she finally heard you moan. You couldn’t keep it in anymore, and you were too fucked out to feel embarrased about it right now.
“Finish before I leave Yuuji- Enjoy yourself.” Gojo was so lost in pleasure that he didn’t even realize she hung up before he even processed what happened.
His grunts and sounds of skins slapping are all you hear as he pounds you back into the sofa. It feels like heaven beneath his weight. You were feeling flushed to the touch, but making contact with his skin was like an inferno. He was the embodiment of heat and as suffocating as that could’ve been, it melts you like it’s how it always should’ve been.
His pace eventually falters, followed by a hushed “fuck,” and he empties out into your used hole. The moment he pulled out, a knock was heard.
“Shit. Can you walk?”

❝ NSFW ALPHABET ❞

MASTERLIST!
pairing . . . jacaerys velaryon x reader
◦∘。゚. warnings . . . MINORS DNI! lewd language, smut (breeding kink, creampie (?), lactation kink, overstimulation, oral (fem receiving), worshipping).
◦∘。゚. summary . . . jacaerys' behaviour in the bedroom.
◦∘。゚. note . . . i am so so so happy to be writing for hotd again, i’m enjoying season 2 so much and i can’t wait for it to be sunday tbh. i haven’t written smut in YEARS (literally) so if this is bad it’s because i am quite rusty😔 requests are open (for aemond & jacaerys)!
[ word count: 2,2k ]

A — AFTERCARE . . . what they're like after sex!
Jacaerys was raised to be a proper prince, and with that, he learned how to respect women. He’s so gentle, drawing a bath himself and making sure you feel at comfort. Anything you need he will make sure you have. When you’re both back in bed, he cuddles you and falls asleep whispering sweet nothings.
B — BODY PART . . . their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner's!
THEIRS . . . He loves his hands, mostly because you love them. Loves to use them to hold you incredibly close, to cup your cheeks when he leans in for a kiss, or just loves them when you take his hand and proudly walk alongside him, hand in hand.
YOURS . . . He loves your tummy. Loves peppering kisses on it, resting his head and falling asleep soundly while you run your hands through his hair. If you ever get pregnant it will be a hassle to get him off you and your tummy.
C — CUM . . . anything to do with cum, basically!
Even if he didn’t have a duty to get you pregnant, he would still be cumming inside you. It’s quite the primal urge he has to make sure everyone knows you’re his. It doesn't matter what you're doing, he will not cum anywhere else but inside you. If he sees his cum dripping out of you, he will push it back into you either with his fingers or simply with his cock.
D — DIRTY SECRET . . . pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs!
Jacaerys is quite comfortable in being the giver of the relationship, but sometimes he fantasies about you taking over in the bedroom. To be the one crying from overstimulation, to have you take care of him.
E — EXPERIENCE . . . how experienced are they? do they know what they're doing?
He was one of the few men to save themselves for marriage, though not because of purity but more so because he never felt the urge to go to a brothel and have his first sexual experience be with a whore. Despite this, he does know what he’s doing. He had a talk with Daemon one time many moons ago, and because of it he’s gained some knowledge. But he only learns the true meaning of pleasure with you.
F — FAVOURITE POSITION . . . this goes without saying!
Cowgirl. As previously stated, he loves the idea of you dominating him and while that isn't quite it, you on top makes him lose his mind. He also knows how much you enjoy the position, with him hitting you just right, as you once put it. With you controlling the pace and how much you take in, Jacaerys can perfectly take in the beautiful sight of your blissed-out face.
G — GOOFY . . . are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.
When he’s in the bedroom he’s quite focused on making sure you’re okay and feel good, so there is no time to be humorous. Still, things happen and a giggle or two slip out when he’s going at it too hard and bumps your head against the bed frame, or when you're both desperate and trip over your clothes. Jacaerys doesn't necessarily try to make your intimate moments funny, but he doesn't stop it if it happens.
H — HAIR . . . how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.
Before you he didn’t really care about grooming, but the days prior to your wedding night he decided to look his best. You have never asked him to groom himself, but he feels as though he has to. He knows how much you take care of yourself, why wouldn’t he do the same? As for the carpet matching the drapes they do. It’s a deep brown and slightly curly, just like the hair on his head.
I — INTIMACY . . . how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect.
Jacaerys is very romantic. He’s tender and sweet from beginning to the end, mostly because he’s madly in love with you, but also because he wants to take his time with you. He’s a big fan of eye contact, handholding, and kissing. Any opportunity he has where he can feel more connected to you, he will take it. Confessions of love and adoration are not rare, an “I love you” slipping from his lips when he’s thrusting inside you, or the looks he gives you that make you feel what he’s feeling. You don’t have just sex, you make love.
J — JACK OFF . . . masturbation headcanon!
He doesn’t often masturbate, only in situations when he’s away from you and misses you dearly. Truly, he gets needy. Usually, he waits until he’s back home with you and releases all that pent up tension onto you. But sometimes, when he longs for you and can’t have you, he resorts to his hand. It doesn't measure up to what your touch feels like, at all, but it does the job to at least quell some of the fire burning up inside him.
K — KINK . . .one or more of their kinks!
As previously mentioned this man wants you pregnant so bad. His breeding kink is very obvious to you, from the way he whispers in your ear how much he wants to see you pregnant, to see his seed take and make you swell with his baby, you want it as much as him, and that just makes him more feral. The Velaryon Prince loves feeling needed, which is why edging is one of his favourite ways to make you crave him as much as he craves you. Your desperate pleas to come fall to deaf ears, as he enjoys your whining and writhing just as much as the sight of you orgasming.
L — LOCATION . . . favourite places to do the deed!
Always somewhere private. Jacaerys is not much of an exhibitionist, although he likes people knowing you’re his, he also doesn’t want anyone else to be able to see you in a compromising position. That sight is sacred, reserved only to him only. As for a specific place, he thoroughly enjoys having sex in your bed. Maybe it's because of how intimate it is or that he knows there’s no way you'll be uncomfortable, but that is his preferred place.
M — MOTIVATION . . . what turns them on, gets them going!
Anything that you do is enough. Sometimes he fears how much power you have over him, how he’s so enamoured and almost obsessed with you. He gets turned on pretty easily when he’s around you, it doesn't take more than you speaking at him in your sweet, honeyed voice for him to be hard.
N — NO . . . something they wouldn't do, turn offs!
Any type of experience where he has to share you with someone. No to threesome, no to exhibitionsim, and no to cuckolding. He also does not like seeing you get hurt, if he even suspects you’re not liking something he’ll stop until you’re comfortable.
O — ORAL . . . preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.
Jacaerys doesn’t dislike the feeling of your mouth on his cock, but he much prefers the feeling of his mouth on your pussy. He eats you out like it’s his last meal, holding your hips down and feasting on the taste of you. He loves overstimulating you until you’re trying to push his head away, the pleasure too much. Loves how you push him back towards your pussy, grabbing a handful of his hair to make him continue his ministrations when he separates himself from you to breathe some air. Sometimes you fear he will suffocate between your thighs, when he doesn't come back up for air in a while, and what a sweet death that’d be to him.
P — PACE . . . are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.
His pace is usually slow and sensual. He worships you, taking his time to appreciate all your sounds and the faces you make, forever burned in his memory. He loves showing you just how much he loves you, making you feel his adoration for you. Still, Jacaerys has moments where he can be rough, lost in the pleasure he frantically fucks into you. He rarely loses control, but when he does you’re both left a beautiful, sweaty mess.
Q — QUICKIE . . . their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.
Not the biggest fan of them. He likes to take his time, savouring those intimate moments so quickies are not something he would choose to partake in. If he’s really needy, he will consider the idea, but usually what starts as a quickie, ends in a long sexual endeavour.
R — RISK . . . are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.
He’s pretty open to any ideas you might have, as long as they don’t involve sharing or hurting you in any way. He doesn't mind taking risks, but he’s pretty comfortable with the things you already do and will not be the one to propose different ways to spice things up, he leaves that to you.
S — STAMINA . . . how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?
He can last a few, it all depends on what you're doing. Three rounds is the sweet spot for him. He eats you out, he fucks you and then fucks you once more to make sure his cum really takes. If you just want to make love, have one simple round where you’re both connected, then he’ll give it to you. But this man is insatiable, so it rarely ends in one round for him.
T — TOYS . . . do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?
Neither of you really need them, you both consider the other enough. If you ever wanted to introduce toys in the bedroom, then Jacaerys is open to the idea. Maybe one day you’ll experiment, but for now the Prince has plenty of skill that will make you forget about any toys.
U — UNFAIR . . . how much they like to tease!
He loves teasing you. He makes you yearn for his touch, adoring the pout you give him and how glassy your eyes get when teasing you. Jacaerys slicks himself along your entrance, bumping against your clit which in turn makes you squirm and whine, and he takes his time until you’re almost sobbing for him to insert himself in you. He’s the worst in public, grabbing you by your waist and telling you how badly he wishes to be in bed with you, only to leave you to go speak to some lord. He watches your agape mouth as you look at him, and all he does is smirk because he knows how wet you’ll be when he finally has you alone.
V — VOLUME . . . how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.
Jacaerys is incredibly vocal. He groans when he finally sheathes himself inside you, moaning when you’re on top of him bouncing up and down without mercy. He’s not shy in telling you how good you're making him feel. He wishes he could speak more to you, but he becomes an incoherent mess pretty quickly and all you can understand are the few mumbles of “Need you” or “So good”, lewdly whining when you clench around him. A drawn out “Fuck” leaves his lips when he comes, squeezing your hips and almost shaking in relief when he feels his spend painting your gummy walls.
W — WILD CARD . . . a random headcanon for the character!
Wants to fuck you while pregnant and see the milk from your tits dripping, to taste the sweet nectar your body produces. He dreams of how round your belly will be, and how ethereal you’ll look with the glow of motherhood.
X — X-RAY . . . let's see what's going on under those clothes!
He’s around 15 cm or 6 inches. He’s quite girthy, with a heavy ball sack. He has some prominent veins which you can feel when he’s thrusting in you, the ridges making you sigh in pleasure.
Y — YEARNING . . . how high is their sex drive?
Jacaerys has a high sex drive, better make the most of it while he’s young. He can control himself, he has great restraint because he knows the wait will just make it all the more sweeter. You can tell quite well when he’s yearning for you, sometimes all it takes is a good look at him and other times he’ll simply groan into your ear how badly he needs you. You guys have sex pretty much every day, with a few exceptions when you're sore or simply not in the mood.
Z — ZZZ . . . how quickly they fall asleep after sex!
When you fall asleep, he falls asleep. He has great stamina but sometimes when he tires the both of you out, he can’t help but fall asleep almost instantly after he spends his load inside you. Adores cuddling you, makes sleeping for him easier and rids him of any bad dreams. He holds you close, drifting off to the sound of your slow breathing and the heat of your body against his.

YOUNG NIGHTS AND OLD HABITS | JJK

wc: 1.9k
Happy Valentine’s Day my loves !! I wasn’t going to post today but my faves had a comeback and I got some inspiration. Enjoy !
Though the skies were dark and the only things illuminating were city buildings, the night was still somewhat young.
You and your husband had just gotten home from your annual Valentine’s day dinner. Jungkook always does his best to take you to a new restaurant every year so as to enjoy the night like it’s your first date.
Truly, it was always a magical night. You remember your very first one back when you were still only dating in college.
Jungkook was nervous to ask you to spend the day with him given that you two had only been dating for about two weeks. But Valentine’s Day was for couples and you were dating, right?
Given that you two, at the time, were broke college students who spent most of their money on essentials and food, there was little money to splurge on the day.
Jungkook did his best though. He got some of his friends to set up a table and fairy lights on a private area on campus. Even got your cousin to help out and pretend to be the waitress at a fancy restaurant.
He spent most of his money on the decorations and the food and only failed to realize he had little to no money for your gift just 2 hours before the date.
He scrambled around his dorm trying to find any change, literally anything. Namjoon walked in on Jungkook flipping his mattress over and getting excited to see a coin.
“…you okay?” Namjoon slowly closed the door and startled Jungkook for a moment before he replied.
“Hyung I’m screwed. I spent almost all my money on the lights, flowers, and food that I completely forgot to buy Y/N a gift,” Jungkook placed his mattress gently back onto the bed frame and threw himself on it.
“Woah. How’d you forget something that important,” the older chuckled and threw his backpack on the floor without a care in the world.
“Screwing up our first Valentine’s Day together isn’t what I was going for,” Jungkook huffs and Namjoon feels for him.
If he had a girlfriend and didn’t get her anything he’d probably stress too.
“What if you make her something?”
“Joon I’m shit at crafts. Remember when I had to make that 3D exoplanet system for Dr.Yoon’s class. It was basically falling apart as I walked to class with it,” Jungkook recalls placing his model next to your perfectly built one and you telling him it looked great.
He knew you were trying to make him feel better. It only made him like you more.
“So go for something simple,”
“Like?” Jungkook asks for suggestions and an idea immediately pops into Namjoon’s head.
“Do you recall back in high school when Mr.Jung would make us start our mornings writing letters to our past and future selves?” Jungkook wasn’t sure where Namjoon was going with this but he still nodded.
“Write her a love letter,”
That’s…not a terrible idea. It’s better than nothing.
Jungkook quickly scrambles from his bed, grabbing his school backpack and taking out a piece of paper and pens.
After about an entire hour of just writing and rewriting his feelings for you, he was done. He felt accomplished and a little shy. What if he was too vulnerable and you thought it was weird? What if you thought a letter was a cheap gift? What if you thought he got lazy??
The time was 7:45 and Jungkook didn’t have much time to overthink it. He folded the letter before putting it in an envelope and sealing it with clear tape.
He got dressed and received a text from his friends telling him that everything was set up and ready to go. All Jungkook had to do was pick you up from your dorm and walk to the designated spot.
With one last look in the mirror and a thumbs up from Namjoon, Jungkook grabs the letter on the desk and places it in his pocket for safe keeping.
He walked across campus to your dorm and felt like he fell in love with you all over again. You were wearing light makeup and something simple but to Jungkook, you looked so gorgeous. Jungkook was sure no other human being in the world held a candle to your beauty.
You exchanged a hug and a kiss on the cheek before walking with Jungkook as he lead you both to your little date.
You remembered how you felt seeing the scene for the first time. It was, again, simple but it was so sweet. You almost felt like tearing up.
The night was filled with tons of laughter and hand holding across the table as your cousin served entrees and main courses from the Italian restaurant off campus that you mentioned to Jungkook you loved.
Finally the night was coming to an end and now it was just the two of you. You watched Jungkook squirm around his seat for a moment before placing your hand on top of his to watch him visibly relax.
“Everything okay?”
“Uh…I have to confess something,” you hear Jungkook’s voice lower in volume but allow him to continue, “I didn’t get you a present-I know! I’m sorry it’s just that I spent so much time thinking about this date that it slipped my mind. But I made you something,” Jungkook grabbed the envelope from his pocket and placed it directly in the middle of the table.
He watched you stare at the paper for a moment and thought he fucked up. You didn’t move to grab it.
You hated it. You probably think he doesn’t even like y-
“Jungkook,” your voice just above a whisper takes him out of his insecure trance.
“You’re not going to believe this,” you reach inside your shirt and visibly into your bra before slipping out a paper of your own. Jungkook tries to ignore his flushed state as he watches you place yours on top of his.
“I wrote you a love letter,”
Soulmates. Jungkook was going to marry you. This was no coincidence. This was fate.
That night, you and Jungkook quietly read your letters in front of each other and shared your first kiss as a couple. You still remember how hard you two were smiling and simply couldn’t stop. The night was finished with love affirmations and lots of physical touches.
Similar to tonight.
You closed the curtains to you and Jungkook’s shared penthouse and watched the view of the city slowly disappear behind the cloth.
“What time is it?” You hear Jungkook walk behind you and wrap his arms around your waist.
“11:40?” You assume. It was rather late when you left the restaurant so you wouldn’t be too far off. Jungkook hums in acknowledgment and rests his chin on your shoulder, slowly closing his eyes.
He was a bit tired from tonight and you rocked him and yourself in a gentle rhythm.
“That waiter definitely had a crush on you,” Jungkook mumbled and you laughed.
“Jungkook I thought we said we’d stop talking about that kid,” you giggle as you reply thinking back to the young waiter that wouldn’t stop prioritizing you over your husband’s requests. At one point he served you wine and completely forgot about Jungkook’s glass.
“I don’t blame him though. You looked beautiful tonight,” Jungkook kissed your exposed shoulder and lets go before walking away.
“I have one more present for you honey,” Jungkook says picking through his blazer that he took off earlier.
“Jungkook. The necklace was enough,” you say touching the expensive piece of jewelry hanging around your neck.
“This might be worth more,” Jungkook finally finds it and slips it out.
It’s an envelope decorated with hand drawn hearts around and you know what it is. A tradition you’ve carried for the last 7 years. Love letters every Valentine’s Day.
He holds out the item for you to take and a smile and blush reach your face. Like second nature you reach into your bra and grab the neatly folded paper.
And like clockwork, your husband flushes up like he does every year. How cute.
You exchange letters and he holds your waist to lead you both to the living room. The environment was quiet in a peaceful and comforting manner.
You take a seat and Jungkook dims the lights a little before turning on the fire place. Finally taking the seat next to you.
You smile at each other one more time before opening your individual letters and you begin to read.
To my loving Wife and Soulmate,
Do you understand, that every single time that I see you, it feels like gravity shifts. You, my love, are the center of my universe. You’ve turned such ordinary and dull moments into supernovas of pure bliss and joy. I’m endlessly grateful for every orbit we’ve shared and will continue to share.
You’re the song that’s stuck in my head, the breath of air I didn’t know I was holding, the warmth in my favorite cup of coffee, and the reason for my happiness. You are my everything.
You are the last person that I think of before falling into sweet sleep where I dream of our life and how much better it gets by the day. Every time I hold your hand, it’s my unspoken promise to never let go. To always stay by your side.
I don’t just love you, I’m rooted in you. And I swear to choose you across every lifetime, every star, and every moment.
My sweet Y/N, I love you.
Yours, forever and always, Jeon Jungkook.
By the time you finish reading the letter you’ve already let a tear drop on the paper. Jungkook shares the same expression as he turns to face you with glossy eyes and nothing but love for you.
He grabs a hold of you and places you directly on his lap.
“Are you aware of how in love with you I am?” his question is rhetorical but you still answer it.
“I have a good idea,” you smile at your husband and lean in for a gentle and innocent kiss. Your hand placed on his shoulder. It’s adorned with your wedding ring. A memory of the happiest day of your life.
The day you became Jeon Y/N.
You recall how much your friends, who had already been married for a while, had told you that the love would fade and eventually it’s like living with a roommate.
You like to think they just didn’t marry their soulmate. Because every moment you spent with Jungkook, you spent it feeling alive and happy to be in the moment.
And you couldn’t wait to tell him the last good news of the night.
There will be a third addition to the Jeon family in nine months. Something you and Jungkook had been talking about for so long. Something you knew he was hoping for.
So when the clock hits 11:58, Jungkook is in tears, holding you with so much security.
He truly knows he won the lottery with you.

fake dating!
with the insufferable Rafe Cameron
| one | | two | three |
-> Rafe x F!Reader
You stab your fork into a pancake, fully prepared to enjoy a drama-free brunch. The sun is out at this beachfront café, the ocean breeze is perfect, and, miraculously, the Kooks and Pogues are coexisting without bloodshed. A rare, fleeting peace.
Something you desperately needed the day after you returned from your little detour with Rafe Cameron.
But then...
“So, you and Rafe, huh?”
You nearly choke on your orange juice. Coughing, you look up to see Sarah smirking over her mimosa, chin propped in her hand like she’s just casually dropped the most normal sentence in the world.
“What?” you say, voice slightly hoarse.
Across the table, JJ leans back with an exaggerated grin. “Yeah, come on. You guys were real cozy at my wedding.”
“Oh my god, no, we were not—”
“And then,” Kiara cuts in, “you mysteriously disappeared together for a whole extra day. Just poof. Off the grid.”
You blink. “We got stranded. The car broke down—”
“Convenient.” Pope raises an eyebrow.
Topper, who has been stirring his coffee in smug silence, finally speaks up. “You should’ve seen them at the lodge. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t come back married.”
You whirl to glare at Rafe, fully expecting him to deny it. To argue. To groan about how ridiculous this all is.
But no. Of course not. Because Rafe Cameron is sitting back in his chair, arm draped lazily over the back, looking entirely too pleased with himself.
“You’re enjoying this,” you accuse.
He flashes a slow, lazy smirk. “What’s not to enjoy, sweetheart?”
JJ cackles. “Oh my god, you even call her sweetheart? This is better than I imagined.”
“I hate him,” you insist, looking around for support. “I literally hate him.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Sarah waves a hand. “Tell that to the heart-shaped honeymoon suite.”
You gape at her. “You told them?”
JJ throws his hands up. “Are you kidding? You’re telling me you got fatefully forced into a honeymoon suite with Rafe Cameron and didn’t do some freaky shit?”
“Yes! That’s exactly what I’m telling you!”
Pope squints. “Sounds fake.”
You groan, dropping your head into your hands. “I hate all of you.”
“Aw, don’t be shy, baby.” Rafe nudges your leg under the table, voice soaked in amusement. “Embrace it.”
You kick him.
...
You stomp across the parking lot of the café after brunch, barely restraining the urge to hurl a rock at Rafe’s truck. Instead, you settle for banging on the driver's window, sharp and impatient.
Rafe, getting ready to drive off, turns his head lazily. He doesn’t roll down the window.
He just smirks.
You throw your hands up. “Oh my god.”
Finally, he cranks the window down, elbow propped on the frame. “Something wrong, sweetheart?”
You seethe. “Get out of the car.”
His smirk deepens. “Or, crazy idea, you could get in.”
You hesitate. Then, grumbling, you march around his truck, yank open the passenger door and slide in, slamming it shut behind you.
Rafe whistles. “Wow. Not even a hello?”
You turn, eyes narrowed. “Why didn’t you shut the rumor down?”
He leans back, exuding peak levels of amused arrogance. “Didn’t feel like it.”
“Didn’t feel like it?” you repeat, incredulous. “Do you have any idea what they’re saying? Sarah basically called me your wife!”
He tilts his head, considering. “Could be worse.”
You gape at him. “Are you serious?”
But then Rafe shifts, that infuriating smugness fading just slightly, replaced by something almost thoughtful. His fingers drum idly on the steering wheel.
“You know,” he muses, “it’s not the worst idea.”
You blink. “What?”
Rafe shrugs. “Think about it. You got anyone you’re trying to shake off?”
You open your mouth to argue, then pause.
Because, actually… you do.
A certain ex-boyfriend who still finds excuses to text you. Who shows up at parties and acts like you’re playing some kind of game instead of just moving on. Who, despite your many, many hints, refuses to take them.
Rafe sees the realization dawn on your face and grins. “Bingo.”
You cross your arms. “And you? What do you get out of it?”
His smirk fades, just a bit. He looks out the windshield, suddenly finding something very interesting about the dashboard.
You narrow your eyes. “Rafe.”
He exhales through his nose, reluctant. “My dad’s been on my ass.”
You frown. “About what?”
He gestures vaguely. “Settling down. Not being a complete disappointment. The usual.”
Your brow furrows. Rafe rarely talks about his dad, at least not seriously. But you’ve been around Ward Cameron enough to know that whatever pressure Rafe is under is probably suffocating.
Rafe glances back at you. “He thinks I need a ‘stabilizing influence.’” His lips curl in amusement. “And you, sweetheart, are so stable.”
You stare at him, dumbfounded. “Are you asking me to fake date you?”
He shrugs again, but there’s something calculated in his expression. “I mean… it’d be convincing, wouldn’t it?”
You hesitate.
It would.
You pretend to consider. “So, let me get this straight. I get a built-in deterrent for my ex.”
“Right.”
“And you get to pretend you’re not a total trainwreck in front of your dad.”
“Exactly.”
“…And what happens when this inevitably backfires?”
Rafe smirks. “Baby, it’s already backfired.”
You groan, sinking into the seat. “I hate this.”
His smirk deepens. “You love this.”
You throw your head back with a dramatic sigh. “Fine.”
Rafe grins. “Knew you’d come around.”
You point a finger at him. “Ground rules.”
Rafe catches your wrist midair, grip loose but firm. He leans in just slightly, voice a low murmur.
“Oh, baby,” he drawls, “I love rules.”
Your stomach flips.
You yank your hand back. “Dig me my grave."
Rafe just laughs, starting the engine.
...
If you had to rank your personal hells, standing in the Figure Eight Country Club in a floor-length gown, pretending to be Rafe Cameron’s doting girlfriend, would easily make the top three.
Maybe even top two.
The room is filled with the elite of the Outer Banks, all clinking glasses and exchanging smiles that don’t quite reach their eyes. It smells like expensive perfume and generational wealth.
And, worst of all, Ward Cameron is watching.
You feel the weight of his gaze from across the ballroom, where he stands among a group of men in tailored suits. His expression is unreadable, but his eyes flick to you and Rafe more often than not.
Rafe, of course, is completely unbothered.
He stands beside you, looking irritatingly at ease in his tux, sipping whiskey like he actually enjoys it. He leans in slightly, voice pitched just low enough for you to hear over the hum of conversation.
“Smile, sweetheart.”
You grit your teeth. “I am smiling.”
“You look like you want to kill me.”
You widen your grin. “What about now?”
Rafe chuckles, low and amused. “Terrifying.”
A waiter passes with a tray of champagne, and you grab a flute, downing half in one go. Rafe watches, smirking. “Nervous?”
“No,” you lie.
You are. Not because of the crowd, or the act, or even Ward’s scrutiny, but because Rafe is good at this. Too good.
He places a hand on your back, guiding you forward, and the warmth of it seeps through the thin fabric of your dress. It’s just for show, just to sell it, but your skin tingles anyway.
And then, your nightmare worsens.
Rose Cameron approaches, wearing an elegant dress and a saccharine smile. “Well, this is a surprise,” she says.
You brace yourself.
“I had no idea you two were together,” she continues, voice dripping with something almost pleasant but mostly sharp.
Rafe, ever the actor, squeezes your waist and pulls you closer. “Yeah, well,” he says easily, “not everything needs to be a spectacle, Rose.”
You resist the urge to snort. As if Rafe Cameron has ever avoided a spectacle in his life.
Rose’s eyes flick between you two. “And how long has this been going on?”
You open your mouth, but Rafe beats you to it.
“A few months,” he says smoothly. “Started off as just—” He glances at you, smiling like you’re his favorite thing in the world. “...something easy, you know? And then…”
His hand tightens slightly on your waist.
“…I realized I didn’t want to let her go.”
Your breath catches.
Rose hums, watching. Assessing. “How sweet.”
You remind yourself to breathe. To act.
So, you force a blush, ducking your head. Your hand finds Rafe’s lapel, fingers curling like it’s second nature.
Rafe responds immediately. His hand slides from your waist to your hip, like muscle memory. Like you belong there.
It’s just a show. Just a role.
But for the first time, you’re not sure who’s playing who.
And judging by the glint in Rafe’s eyes, you think maybe he feels it too.
..,
If the country club was suffocating, this is the opposite.
The moment you and Rafe slide into the booth, after peeling out of the country club gala early like fugitives, you exhale, tension slipping off your shoulders.
Your gown is bunched awkwardly around you, heels kicked off under the table. Rafe is still in his suit, tie undone, the top buttons of his dress shirt loosened. He leans back, legs stretched out, one hand draped lazily over the back of your seat.
It feels too natural and easy.
But you tell yourself it’s just relief. Just comfort after an exhausting night of pretending.
A basket of fries sits between you, along with a milkshake you made Rafe order just so you could steal half of it. He watches, bemused, as you dip a fry into the chocolate shake.
“You’re actually disgusting,” he says.
“You’re actually uncultured.” You take a bite, savoring it obnoxiously. “Salty and sweet? It’s perfect.”
Rafe eyes you, then the fry, then the shake. “No way it’s good.”
“Try it.” You hold up a fry, daring him.
He rolls his eyes but leans in, biting it from your fingers before you can react. The move is so smooth, so casual, that your brain short-circuits for a second.
He chews. Pauses. Then shrugs. “Not bad.”
You scoff. “Not bad? That was a life-changing experience, Rafe.”
He smirks. “Yeah? I can think of better ones.”
You swat his arm, laughing, but the moment lingers, just a second too long.
And then, it shifts.
Because Rafe doesn’t move his hand from the back of your seat. Because his knee stays pressed against yours. Because the air between you, once full of teasing and playful insults, is suddenly thick with something else.
Something heavier. Something real.
You swallow, looking away, out the window. “You really sold it tonight.”
Rafe hums. “You weren’t too bad yourself, sweetheart.”
You roll your eyes, but your stomach flutters.
“My dad definitely bought it,” he continues, watching you carefully. “Think we convinced him?”
You nod, still avoiding his gaze. “Think so.”
A beat.
“You know, it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.”
Your head snaps toward him. “What?”
He holds your gaze, something unreadable flickering in his eyes. “You. Me. Keeping it up for a little while longer.”
Your pulse stutters.
“Just until it’s not useful anymore,” he adds, casual but too casual. “Just for—”
“For show,” you finish, trying to ignore the way your throat feels tight.
Rafe nods, but something in his expression looks almost hesitant.
You exhale slowly, pretending like this is still just a scheme. Just an act.
But when Rafe steals another fry from your hand, when his fingers brush yours just a second too long, you think maybe you’re both lying.
Not to everyone else.
But to yourselves.
...
The bar is packed, buzzing with energy. Music pulses through the speakers, neon lights flickering in time with the beat. The scent of cheap beer and salt lingers in the air, mingling with the warmth of too many bodies pressed into the space.
The Pogues and Kooks, for once, aren’t at each other’s throats. Drinks are flowing, laughter crackling between old rivalries. JJ and Pope are locked in a heated darts match, Sarah is cackling at something Kiara said, and Rafe...
Rafe is watching you.
You don’t notice. Not at first.
Because you’re too busy trying to get away from the guy standing too close.
Your ex.
The one who never quite got it.
It started out as small talk, just a polite exchange. But then he edged closer. His voice dipped lower. And now his fingers are ghosting over your wrist like he has any right.
“Come on, don’t be like that,” he murmurs, smirking. “You used to love talking to me.”
You force a tight smile, shifting back slightly, pressing your spine against the edge of the bar. “Yeah, well, things change.”
He doesn’t take the hint. If anything, he leans in more.
“You can’t tell me you don’t miss it. Us.” His breath is warm against your skin. “I know you, babe.”
A shiver crawls down your spine, but not the good kind.
You open your mouth, ready to shut this down completely, but then you feel it.
The shift.
The heat at your side.
And then a hand. Warm. Firm. Settling on your hip, fingers curling just slightly into the fabric of your dress.
Rafe.
You don’t have to look to know it’s him. You feel him. The sheer presence of him, the weight of his body just slightly behind yours.
He’s not looking at you, though.
He’s looking at him.
Your ex stiffens. “Rafe.”
Rafe’s grip tightens just enough that you notice. “Didn’t know you were back in town.”
Your ex forces a smirk, but it doesn’t reach his eyes. “Didn’t know I needed permission.”
Rafe tilts his head, considering. “You don’t.” He shifts slightly, angling himself more in front of you, voice dipping lower. “But she doesn’t need this.”
Your heart pounds.
Your ex’s jaw clenches. “We were just talking.”
Rafe’s lips curl, but it’s not a smile. It’s something sharper. Something dangerous.
“She’s not interested,” he says, voice casual but lined with steel.
Your ex hesitates. His gaze flicks to you, like he’s expecting you to contradict Rafe. To push him off, say something.
But you don’t.
You just stare, pulse thrumming, feeling the warmth of Rafe’s body against yours, the way his hand stays there.
After a long, tense moment, your ex scoffs. Raises his hands in mock surrender. “Whatever.” He takes a step back, eyes lingering for just a second too long before he turns and disappears into the crowd.
The moment he’s gone, Rafe’s grip doesn’t loosen. If anything, it lingers.
His fingers press lightly into your waist before finally dragging away.
“You good?” His voice is quieter now. Just for you.
You should be annoyed. Should shove him away, roll your eyes, tell him you didn’t need him to save you.
But you don’t.
Instead, you tilt your head, watching him. “Didn’t know you cared so much, boyfriend.”
Rafe exhales a soft huff of laughter. But he doesn’t deny it. Doesn’t correct you.
His hand, stupidly warm, trails just slightly along your arm before he lets it drop.
“Just doing my job,” he murmurs.
Your stomach flips.
Because suddenly, you’re not sure if he’s still talking about the fake relationship.
Or if you’re both pretending a little less than before.
...
You stumble into the parking lot outside the bar, way past midnight. The air is thick with humidity, the faint scent of salt and asphalt lingering. Most of the group has already left, leaving only a few lingering voices in the distance.
You jiggle your car keys in your hand, squinting at them like they’re the problem instead of the slight haze behind your eyes.
“Alright,” you mumble to yourself, “just… keys in the ignition, foot on the pedal, easy—”
A hand closes around your wrist before you can even attempt it.
Rafe.
You sigh, tilting your head back to look at him. “What now?”
His jaw tenses. He’s already opened the passenger side door, standing there expectantly, waiting for you to not be an idiot.
“You’re not driving.”
You huff. “I’m fine.”
Rafe cocks a brow. “Oh yeah? Walk in a straight line.”
You scoff, rolling your eyes, except the motion makes your head spin, and when you step forward, you almost stumble.
Strong hands catch you before you can.
His hands.
“Yeah,” Rafe mutters, his voice low, close, “that’s what I thought.”
You glare at him, or, well, try to. It’s not very effective when he’s this close, when his grip is steady, firm but careful.
“You’re bossy,” you mumble as he guides you toward his truck.
Rafe snorts. “And you’re a pain in the ass. Now get in.”
You don’t have the energy to argue. Not when the exhaustion from the night is pressing in, making your limbs feel heavier, your eyelids droopier. You let him help you up into the passenger seat, barely reacting when he reaches over to buckle your seatbelt for you.
You do, however, raise a brow. “Didn’t know you were the nurturing type.”
Rafe pulls back, shutting the door before rounding the front of the truck. When he gets in, he exhales, shaking his head. “I’m not.”
But the way he adjusts the A/C so it’s not blasting in your face, the way he checks to make sure you’re comfortable before pulling out of the lot...
It says otherwise.
A Little While Later…
You barely register the truck slowing to a stop.
You blink up at Rafe, his face dimly lit by the soft glow of the streetlight outside your place.
“We’re here,” he says, voice quieter than usual.
You blink again. “Oh.”
You make a move to unbuckle yourself but fumble, and before you can get frustrated, Rafe is leaning over, clicking it open for you.
“C’mon, lightweight,” he mutters, getting out first so he can meet you on your side.
You let him help you out. Let him slide an arm around your waist when you teeter a little too much on your feet. Let him steady you as he walks you to your door.
Your head lolls against his shoulder. “You’re warm,” you murmur sleepily.
Rafe huffs out a laugh. “And you’re drunk.”
You don’t argue.
He waits while you dig out your keys, unlocking your door with clumsy fingers. When you finally manage it, you hesitate in the doorway, turning to look at him.
He’s already watching you.
There’s something unreadable in his expression, something different from the usual smirk, the usual teasing gleam in his eyes.
Something softer.
You swallow. “Thanks.”
Rafe shoves his hands into his pockets, glancing away like he doesn’t want you to see whatever’s behind his eyes. “Yeah,” he says, nodding. “Get some sleep.”
You nod back.
But for some reason, as you step inside and close the door behind you, you kind of wish he hadn’t left.
...
You don’t know how you ended up here on this quiet stretch of beach, just the two of you, away from the crowd, the warmth of the fire replaced by the cool atmosphere of an incoming storm. Maybe you wandered off. Maybe he followed.
Maybe neither of you really mind.
Rafe tilts his head back, letting a few drops of rain land against his skin. “Perfect,” he mutters. “Gotta love the weather around here.”
You huff out a quiet laugh, tucking your arms around yourself. “You scared of a little rain, country club?” You mimic Barry's drawl.
His eyes flick to you, amused. “No. Just wondering how much longer before you start whining about it.”
You scoff. “I don’t—”
But before you can argue, a drop slides down your cheek, then another, and suddenly, the drizzle thickens into a heavy downpour.
You squeal as the rain soaks into your hair, your dress, cool against your skin. “Ugh, Rafe!”
He laughs, actually laughs, and when you slap at his chest, he catches your wrist easily. Holds it there.
And that’s when you realize how close you are.
The air shifts.
The teasing flickers into something quieter, something heavier. His grip on your wrist isn’t tight, but it lingers. His thumb brushes over the inside of it, slow, deliberate.
You should step back. Say something. Laugh it off.
But you don’t.
Instead, your breath catches as his gaze dips, lingering, considering. He doesn’t hide it. The way his eyes trace the curve of your lips, the way he exhales just a little sharper, like he’s deciding something.
Like he’s this close to doing something about it.
Your pulse thrums. You’re not sure if it’s the rain or the fact that his hand is sliding, just barely, against your waist now, the heat of it burning through the damp fabric of your dress.
He leans in.
Just a little.
And suddenly, you don’t feel the cold anymore.
Then—
“Yo! There you guys are!”
JJ’s voice shatters the moment like a snapped thread.
You and Rafe jerk apart, almost too fast. You swear you hear him mutter a curse under his breath, running a hand through his soaked hair.
JJ jogs up, completely oblivious. “We’re heading back to the Chateau, wondered if you two drowned or something.” He pauses, eyes flicking between you, brows furrowing. “Wait… what were you—”
“We were just coming to find you guys,” you cut in quickly, voice a little higher than normal. “Right, Rafe?”
Rafe exhales, glancing at you, something unreadable flickering across his expression.
Then he smirks, all slow and knowing, but there’s something else there, something charged.
“Yeah,” he murmurs. “Let’s go.”
And as you turn back toward the bonfire, heart hammering, you have no idea what just almost happened.
Or maybe you do.
And that’s the problem.
...
You stood on the back patio of the Country Club, watching the sunset. The lights are dim, and most of the guests have trickled out. It’s quiet now, except for the occasional clatter of staff cleaning up inside.
You hear heavy footsteps and turn to see Rafe, in his polo and backwards hat after a game of golf. He looks perplexed.
“You’ve been avoiding me.”
The words cut through the silence, firm, leaving no room for denial.
You grip the railing, turning your gaze away again. “I haven’t.”
Rafe exhales sharply. “Bullshit.”
He’s closer now, you can feel it, the heat of him even in the cool night air. You close your eyes, gripping the wooden beam a little tighter.
“Look, it’s late. Let’s not—”
“What?” His voice dips lower, edged with something you can’t quite place. “Not talk about it? Keep pretending?”
Your stomach twists. “Rafe—”
“Tell me I’m wrong.”
You don’t.
Because you can’t.
He scoffs, dragging a hand through his hair, stepping back like he needs space but doesn’t actually want it. “This whole thing, it was fake, right?” His tone is sharp, but there’s something raw underneath. “A stupid game. Just a way to keep people off our backs.”
You swallow hard, finally turning to face him. “That’s what we agreed on.”
His jaw tightens. “Right.” He lets out a humorless laugh, shaking his head. “So that’s all it is to you?”
You falter. “I didn’t say that.”
“You didn’t have to.”
There’s a beat of silence, thick and heavy.
Then, softer, quieter, like he hates admitting it:
“I meant it.”
Your breath catches.
“What?”
“I meant all of it.” He steps closer again, the frustration in his eyes giving way to something else entirely. “The dates. The kisses. The way I look at you and…” He trails off, shaking his head. “You know it wasn’t fake, not for me.”
It’s too much.
Your heart is pounding, your throat is tight, and it’s too much.
“Rafe, don’t—”
“Why not?” His voice is almost desperate now, rough around the edges. “Why do you keep running from this? From me?”
You want to tell him.
You almost do.
But then—
The door swings open behind you.
“Hey, there you guys are!” Sarah’s voice is bright and unknowing, completely oblivious to the storm raging between you and Rafe. “We’re heading to the drive-in movie... coming?”
Your gaze stays locked with his.
Something flickers across his face, something that looks a hell of a lot like defeat.
Then, just like that, the moment shatters.
Rafe steps back. His jaw clenches. “Yeah,” he mutters. “We’re coming.”
He doesn’t look at you again.
And you don’t know why it suddenly feels like you’ve lost something before you even had it.
...
It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.
Not after the argument. Not after a week of nothing: no texts, no stolen glances, no tension-filled bickering that somehow always felt like flirting.
You had told yourself you were fine with it.
But when Sarah had casually mentioned that Rafe had been coming here lately, this wildflower field, tucked away from the world, you didn’t even hesitate before heading straight there.
And now, here he is.
Sitting on the hood of his truck, elbows resting on his knees, staring out at the horizon like he’s been here for hours.
For a second, you just watch him.
The way the golden light catches the sharp angles of his face, the way the breeze ruffles his hair. The way his shoulders tense slightly, like he knows you’re here, even before he turns.
When he finally does, the surprise flickers across his face before it’s quickly replaced with something unreadable.
You cross your arms, stepping forward. “So this is where you’ve been hiding.”
Rafe exhales, shaking his head with a half-smirk. “Didn’t realize I was hiding.”
You raise a brow. “Right. You just went radio silent for a week, ditched every hangout, and started brooding in a flower field for no reason.”
His lips twitch. “It’s not brooding.”
You gesture at the scene. “It’s very broody, Rafe.”
The teasing comes easy; it always does. But underneath, the tension lingers, soft and unspoken.
His expression shifts, gaze drifting over you, taking you in like he’s searching for something. Then he looks away, shaking his head like he’s trying to pull himself back.
“You shouldn’t be here.”
Something in your chest twists.
“Why not?”
He exhales, dragging a hand down his face. “Because this was supposed to be easy.”
You blink. “What was?”
“This,” he gestures vaguely between you. “Us. The whole stupid fake dating thing. I thought—” He cuts himself off, jaw tightening. “I thought if I let you go first, it’d be easier.”
Your breath catches.
“You let me go?”
Rafe lets out a quiet, humorless chuckle. “Yeah. That’s what it felt like, at least.” His voice is lower now, rough around the edges. “You walked away. And I let you.”
There’s something devastating about the way he says it.
Like it was the hardest thing he’s ever done.
Your heart is pounding now, but you take a breath, stepping closer. “So why are you out here?”
His eyes flick to yours, hesitant but open in a way that makes your stomach flip.
“This place,” he murmurs, glancing around at the swaying wildflowers, the open sky, “reminded me of that town. Of you.” His voice is quieter now, like he’s saying something he never planned to. “And I think… I think I wanted to hold onto that for a little longer.”
The confession settles between you, thick and weighty, pressing against your ribs.
You swallow hard. “Rafe—”
“I meant it,” he says suddenly, cutting you off, voice edged with something fierce. “Back at the club. Everything I said... I meant it.” His jaw tenses. “I don’t want to pretend. Not anymore.”
You stare at him, heart hammering.
“I don’t either.”
It’s barely a whisper, but he hears it.
His breath hitches, his whole body going still. “You don’t?”
You shake your head, stepping even closer, so close that you can see the way his hands tighten at his sides, like he’s holding himself back. “I was scared,” you admit, voice barely steady. “Scared of what it meant. Scared of ruining—”
“Baby...,” he interrupts, voice low and cracking slightly from the rush of emotions, “you already ruined me.”
That does it.
Because before you can think, before you can talk yourself out of it, you’re closing the space between you, moving between his legs on where he's sat on the hood of his truck, and pressing your lips to his.
Rafe makes a quiet, almost desperate sound, and then...
He’s kissing you back.
Really kissing you.
His hands cup your face, fingers threading into your hair, pulling you closer like he’s afraid you might slip away. The warmth of his body, the way his lips move against yours, it’s all-consuming. It’s everything.
When you finally pull back, breathless, he rests his forehead against yours, eyes still closed like he’s savoring the moment.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that,” he murmurs.
You smile, fingers brushing against his jaw. “I think I do.”
Rafe lets out a quiet laugh, shaking his head before kissing you again, slower this time, softer, like he has all the time in the world.
Neither of you are in a rush to let go.
...
Epilogue: The Reveal
It starts innocently enough on this quiet night around the beach bonfire, months later.
A few drinks, a few stories, the kind of night that feels infinite. Sarah’s lying in the sand, legs thrown over John B’s, Cleo is braiding Kie's hair, and JJ...JJ is staring at you and Rafe with narrowed eyes.
“You know,” he says slowly, pointing a beer bottle between you two, “I’ve been thinking.”
“That’s dangerous,” Pope mutters.
JJ ignores him.
“How exactly did this happen?” He gestures at where you and Rafe are curled up together, your back resting against his chest, his arms lazily draped around your waist.
Rafe shrugs. “Dunno. Just kinda did.”
“Liar,” Sarah chimes in, smirking. “I distinctly remember a time when you two hated each other.”
“We didn’t hate each other,” you say quickly.
JJ scoffs. “Uh, yeah, you did. You could barely even share a car for the road trip.”
John B leans forward, eyes narrowing. “Wait a second.” He turns to Sarah. “Didn’t they show up at the lodge all weird and tense?”
Sarah’s eyes widen. “Oh my God, yes.” She turns to you and Rafe. “That first night, when you guys had to share the honeymoon suite—”
Kie gasps. “No. No. And it was so random...”
A slow, almost wicked grin spreads across JJ’s face. “Wait, wait, wait. Don’t tell me…” His gaze flicks between you and Rafe, piecing it together. “Were you two fake dating?”
Silence.
“Not technically,” Rafe says smoothly.
Absolute chaos.
JJ jumps to his feet. “YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THIS WHOLE TIME I WAS SHIPPING A SCAM?!”
“I wouldn’t call it a scam,” you protest.
Pope gapes. “So all those times you two were all over each other—”
“Fake,” Kie finishes, eyes wide. “Holy shit.”
Sarah looks downright betrayed. “Wait, so at the gala—”
“Fake.”
John B gapes. “The bar?”
You hesitate. “Uh… mostly fake?”
JJ throws his hands up. “WHAT ABOUT THE RAIN?!”
Everyone turns to you.
You and Rafe exchange a glance.
“Okay, that might have been real,” you admit.
JJ groans, flopping dramatically onto the sand. “I feel so lied to.”
Pope shakes his head, staring at the fire like it’s personally betrayed him.
Kie just mutters, “This is some fanfic-level shit.”
Rafe, completely unbothered, just smirks and pulls you closer. “Worked out, didn’t it?”
And as you lean into him, laughter ringing around you, the ocean breeze tangling through your hair, you realize...
Yeah.
It really, really did.

I have a group of acquaintances from my hometown who are mostly “moderate Republicans”, but only because they don’t really pay attention and are young straight white men from an affluent suburb. I don’t hang out with them, but we’re all in a group chat together (that they keep adding me to every time I try to leave). I figured since I was there, I might as well try to introduce them to some leftist, anti-authoritarian ideas. It’s been working—I’ve even seen a shift with the one proper alt-right guy from constantly posting evil shit unfettered to keeping his mouth shut except to occasionally completely make a fool of himself while trying to debate me—but it’s slow. With everything else that’s happening in the US, I’m wondering if this is a worthwhile use of time.
You've already shifted one of your acquaintances from the red pill/alt-right pipeline a bit, so you've answered your own question, Anon! We suggest you keep up the good work here. In fact, we've got some resources for you: If you dig through our Asks Archive, you'll find lots of examples where we responded to the most common bullshit peddled by the far-right. There might be good ammo in there for you to use to continue swaying these guys. The Western States Center has a number of guides offering solid advice on how to respond when people close to you are going down the wrong path. Generally, avoid name-calling and responding with facts is effective. A good way to frame what you say is to Affirm, Answer, & ReDirect: -Affirm that what the person is saying is real and comes from a place of real concern that you understand. This validates them and makes them more open to listening to you. -Answer (or respond) to what they're saying factually. You want to be clear, concise, and concrete when you answer. Make your answer as clear, direct, and succinct as possible and based it on real-world, concrete evidence. -Now you want to ReDirect the person's concern or anger away from the target they thought was appropriate to where they should be angry. To demonstrate: Person 1: I'm fed up with not being able to afford proper housing! There's just not enough homes in this country with all the immigrants coming here! We need to close our borders to makes sure we can house our own people! Person 2: (Affirming): I definitely hear you. It sickens me that so many people are living on the streets here. Rents are out of control. We shouldn't have to worry about whether or not we're going to have a roof over our heads from one month to the next. (Answering): But what is the real problem here? We're one of the richest countries in the world, yet for every one person living on the streets, there are 28 vacant homes available that the owners are just sitting on. The top 20 corporate landlords control over 1.4 million homes. Turning housing from a basic necessity into something to speculate on and try to get rich with means sky-high rents and homes sitting empty while people sleep in the streets. (Redirecting): Immigrants aren't the reason for the housing crisis - relying on capitalism to provide housing when it's only designed to provide profits is the reason! If you are genuinely upset about housing situation here, you need to focus on the people that created the problem and profit from it - wealthy landlords and landowners and the politicians that pass laws that only make them wealthier, at the expense of the rest of us!

Words: 4.5K (it’s a long one)/
Unedited! there's gotta be a few mistakes in it but I wrote this instead of my dissertation and sleeping so take it for what it is I guess.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was never one to drink, do drugs or jump off tall things all for a little adrenaline rush-No, I was particular in my chosen addiction. Sex was always my vice. I tasted it one and couldn't get enough. It’s never really mattered to me what they look like or how good at it they were, if the thought pops into my head then it’s all I crave, like an itch that demands to be scratched. Sometimes I don’t even want it, like when a smoker who's trying to quit doesn't even think about lighting the cigarette in their mouth, it's basically a habbit.
Many interactions with vile, disgusting men and bad life choices led me right here, surrounded by people in green sweatsuits playing deadly children’s games for money. It’s not exactly where I thought I'd end up, I always thought I’d die in a ditch somewhere-discarded and used without a care in the world.
Salty sweat drops fall on my forehead from the purple-haired man thrusting to his hearts content in an out of me, grunting in my ear like he's on a mission. He’s not bad, a little too desperate and loud for my liking but hey, a fuck is a fuck. Plus he was pretty good-looking under the whole wannabe-bad-boy-rapper persona.
“You like that? hmph-So good-so so good.” He grumbles, his voice mere groans of hot breath in my ear.
“Feels so good daddy-please keep going please!” My voice was no higher than a pathetic whisper in return, becoming conscious of the creaks the bed was emitting, echoing in the empty space of the room. Thankfully many people this side had died in the previous game.
My hips were beginning to ache from the angle I’m spread to- My jaw clenching as I feel him wrap his hands behind my knees and shove them up until they hit my shoulders. The pain was easing from my hips but it did nothing for the lack of excitement I was feeling. It was a little mundane for me, stuck in missionary while he has the time of his life-but it will satisfy my needs nonetheless.
I can’t help but let my thoughts wander, craning my neck to glance over his shoulder as his pounding continued, just listening the the sounds of our skin slapping and the weak sounds of the bed frame holding us up.
My attention is suddenly drawn to a rusting from a bed on the other side of the room. Under the glow of the obnoxiously large piggy bank I can just make out a large figure, laid in bed with the covers just covering his hip. Squinting into the darkness I make out rapid movements under the covers.
Is this perv getting off to us?
I let my eyes linger for a while, feeling myself getting wetter from the idea of this stranger pleasuring himself to the sounds of us fucking. Trailing my eyes up I can just about make out his number, 388. Taking a mental note, I try to peak at his face through the darkness.
A gasp gets caught in my throat as I make eye contact with dark eyes that stare back at me. His whole face wasn't clear but I could sense his eyes burning into mine as he welcomed himself to the free porn he was witnessing.
‘So fucking wet for me.’ Thanos panted out, snapping me back to his attention. Thankfully his head was buried in my neck and he was too busy chasing his own high to notice my distraction.
Maybe I should give him a show.
I took my hands and placed them firmly on Thanos’ chest.
“Stop.” I manage to gasp out, pushing him back enough to look at his face. His cheeks are flushed and his eyes are crazy, Purple strands sticking to his forehead. His thrusts stagger a little before coming to a stop.
“What the fuck is wrong girl, why are you stopping me when I'm about to fill you up?” The tone of his voice is slightly erratic, and a little too loud-but I had new priorities than everyone else's sleep.
“I just wanna ride you Daddy, please?” Fluttering my eyelashes up at him, I knew he couldn't disagree with me, especially as I clenched myself around him.
“Fuck okay-okay.” He talks over himself, gripping at my sides to manoeuvre me on top of him.
I knock my head on the metallic grate on underneath the bunk on top of us, but don’t even stop to acknowledge the pain, I've got a new task to complete. I can’t let poor 388 go to bed unsatisfied now can I?
I reposition myself straddling him, letting my hands rest on his chest while he sinks his dick into my hole. I’m already pretty raw so it stings from the stretch, feeling him throb inside me from the sensation, a small gasp erupts from my throat.
Rocking my hips back and forth, I feel him glide in and out of me, making sure to arch my back and stick my ass out to give the best possible view to my new friend.
“Just like tha-fuck just like that.” he mutters through staggered breaths. I can feel him getting close so I need to do my best with the time I have.
In a brave move, I move my hands up from his chest and glide them up my body, stopping to grip onto my breasts and squeeze, Hard. I moan louder than necessary, but not loud enough to cause a scene.
Bouncing hard on his dick, I bring my hand to my throat and start to lightly choke myself, throwing my head back and feel my hair hit my back.
“Fuck this pussy, oh god, oh my fucking god-so good, so tight oh fuck.” I hear him groan, reaching his climax as hot spurts of cum squirt inside of me, filling me up.
I lean forward, laying my chest back down and craning my neck to glance over my shoulder. I watch how 388’s covers slowly come to a halt, a subtle shake as he finally finishes. I wish I could hear him trying to catch his breath over the snoring of the rest of the room, but ill sleep happy with the knowledge I've done my job-for now.
“You finished right, girl?” My attention is drawn back to the heavy breathing of the purple haired asshole under me, his hands still feeling up my hips and ass as I catch my breath.
“Yeah sure.” I nod, through gritted teeth, slipping him out of me and laying beside him.
“Good, gotta take care of my girl, especially when she’s being so damn good for me!” He ruffles my hair before turning over, falling asleep almost instantly.
God he has so much faith in me not to kill him in his sleep.
My mind didn't relax enough to sleep, too focused on all the ideas I had to get my way, I will seduce this man, I don’t even care if he’s ugly or horrible. Anyone that desperate to cum clearly needs my help, maybe he’ll actually make me cum.
My lord isn’t it bad I'm more focused on this than the games? well I guess it is a game of sorts… wtf is wrong with me, anyways.
I roll my eyes and try to push my thoughts away. Ignoring the sweaty body next to me, I pull my crumped clothes back onto my body and lay back down, fading off to a dreamless sleep.
----
The most irritating and mind-numbing sickly song wakes me up in the morning. That along with the bright lights is enough to make me kill someone-even outside of the game.
I’ve never been a morning person, nighttime is where all the fun happens-hell I don't even wake up till gone 2pm most days. However, this morning I have a task-find this mystery man.
I sit up in bed-taking no notice of the absence of the man next to me, and try to brush my fingers through my knotted hair, pinching my cheeks and lips to look more alive.
God did they have to give us these ugly ass outfits.
Doing the best with what I have, I tie up the top into an extreme crop and pull the joggers down lower on my hip, lazily throwing the sweatshirt on.
It'll do.
I scan my eyes around the room like a predator hunting its prey, reading everyone’s number until my eyes land on the one I'm looking for.
Bingo.
He’s tall, good looking-man bun be damned, chuckling along with something an older man is saying and a-is that bitch pregnant? Damn. He stretches, his muscles flexing as he does, almost having me salivate on myself. He doesn't even glance over here before waltzing over to to the breakfast queue.
My footsteps are fast but inconspicuous, anyone else probably would’ve thought I was just hungry- and I guess they'd be right, but not for food.
I manage to squeeze in behind him, shuffling my feet closer to his.
“You’re pretty cute for a perv.” His shoulders stiffened, glancing at me over his shoulder.
‘What?” He mutters back to me, his eyes raking over my body before returning his eyes forward.
“I thought guys who liked to watch people fuck without them knowing were balding and lived in their parents basement with food stuck to their face and a box of tissues next to them.” Ok, that was a weird thing to say- but am I wrong?
His breathing takes a sharp incline as he shuffles forward with everyone else in the line.
“I wasn't watching you.”
“It’s okay baby I'm not mad a you, was I good for you?” my voice is confident but low, closer to his ear than before because of the people joining the queue behind me. Not sure if he's really as in to public humiliation as he is into public masturbation.
“I'm sorry, okay?” he whispers, without glancing back. More of a whimper really, slut.
“I just told you I'm not mad.” Im more short in my answers-im starting to get bored from this restrictive situation. I do get bored easily.
My lips almost touch his ear as I lean in, playing dangerous.
“Should've let me know you needed it daddy, this pussy has your name all over it.” I stroke over his back as I come down, tits grazing his back.
He chuckled darkly, looking down at his shoes, before turning his body to to me, a slick smirk playing on his mouth as he leant down and met my eyes.
“Really? Because to me it looks like it has that guy’s cum all over it.”
He blinked, before turning back and continuing to follow the queue.
I don’t have an answer for that, he really got me there to be fair.
My lips form a sharp line and I feel a heat rush to my cheeks, I kept my eyes down and stayed silent. I didn't know I could still feel embarrassed by anything-but here we are. I also tried to ignore the wetness growing between my thighs at the situation, the degrading really does it for me I guess.
He grabbed breakfast from the guard before sauntering off, out of the corner of my eye I saw him silently giggling to himself as he walked away, asshole.
I picked up my pathetic little apple and grumbled, taking a harsh bite out of it. If he's playing hard to get then I guess I'm just gonna have to play harder.
----
After the games, the vibes really sucked. Thanos was loud and annoying as usual but at least he didn't let me die. That was kinda nice of him, or maybe it was the fact I promised him anal if he got me through it-but nevertheless, it good to be alive.
I spent a long time in the bathroom, making sure I looked perfect after that mess. I also scrubbed myself raw, feeling dirty after the game, and the fuck and especially after 388’s comment. The 5 minute shower I somehow convinced the guard to let me have did wonders. He did watch me the entire time-but at least I'm clean!
After we once again got voted to stay, I got bored of the repetitive conversation and laid on my bed, staring at nothing in particular.
I glanced down over my feet at the door to the bathrooms, taking notice of the tall pretty boy leaving.
I didn't think twice about it, my feet moving on their own. I had to have it out with this man- he acts like a disgusting pervert watching me fuck and suddenly he's all cocky? I don't think so.
Thankfully the guards really don't give a fuck about who goes into what bathroom. I stand outside waiting, watching for the door to open. I didn't want to enter the bathroom and catch him pooping- I may be deranged but I'm not a total freak.
He wasn't in there long, and nobody had come in or out since him. Hearing footsteps approaching the door I give a quick wink to one of the guards, Showtime.
He barely opened the door before I pushed him back inside, closing us in the empty bathroom.
“Woah.” He managed, jumping on the defence and getting ready to attack before his eyes locked on me.
“Oh its you.” he relaxed, sighing.
“You miss me?” I asked sweetly, leaning back against the door with my hand resting on the metal handle.
“It's hard to miss you when you keep showing up,” his hands moved to his hips and his face bore an amused smirk, playful.
“You upset me earlier, thought you'd wanna make it up to me.”
“By telling you the truth? if that upsets you darling then you put have a real hard time with everything else in here.”
“Listen, you-”
“No you listen,” He steps towards me, a strange dominance lurking under his voice.
“I have enough going on here without some needly little whore deciding she's important enough to start bratting out because I used her pathetic show of attention-seeking to get myself off.”
My breathing increases as he steps closer, I was not expecting that to come out of his mouth, I’m not often too stunned to speak but somehow he's done it in the two conversations I've had with him.
I stare up at him through my lashes, my mouth dropping open a little as I pant through it. God is this turning me on?
“You gonna do something about it, tough guy?” Is all I manage to conjure, coming out in a stupidly quiet voice.
“Since you seem so desperate for me I'll do you a favour and put that dirty little mouth to use shall I?” He suddenly reaches forwards and grips my hair in his hand, a sound between a moan and a sob exiting my mouth as he does.
He shoves me across the room and into a stall, pushing us both in before slamming and locking it shut behind us. His grip stayed strong in my hair.
I don't know what I thought this guy would be like, I thought he would be a sweet little perv who helps pregnant girls and laughs along with old men’s jokes and then rubs one out while watching two people fuck like animals.
“Kneel.” He demands, his grip one my hair beginning to give me a headache. I don’t move, sure I've had men be rough before but this really took me by surprise.
“You want me don't you?” He spits out, but something in his eyes seemed softer, like a shimmer of guilt washed over them.
“Yes sir.”
“Then be a good girl and show me how much you want it, down on your knees.”
My knees buckled by themselves, gripping his thigh for support I hit the dirty bathroom floor and looked up at him with wide eyes.
“You know what to do slut, I'm sure you've had enough practice.” His eyes were back to being hard now, whether it was all the emotions during the games or something else had hardened him, and he desperately needed release, and Im more than happy to help with that.
I bring my hands up to his waistband, dragging down the green joggers and his boxers down together, watching as his hard cock flung free.
“Spit on it.”
I swirled my tongue around my mouth and tried to muster all the saliva I could, bringing my lips to the tip of his dick and letting my spit slowly drip onto it.
His eyes glaze over and he leans his head back, a groan slipping through his lips.
Taking my chance, I grab his throbbing cock with my hand and slowly pump my spit all over his shaft.
“I-is that good daddy?” I manage to stutter out, hand moving up and down as I slowly trail my tongue up his tip, tasting the pre cum that's already leaking out.
What the fuck is wrong with you, get your shit together.
“You know that's good slut, you're just begging for my validation aren't you?” He chuckled again, that deep chuckle he keeps doing that sounds like he's just been told a dirty joke, amused but interested.
I ignored the degrading tone and looked back down to his cock, its big and throbbing-a lot bigger than what I'm used to, or at least than what I've had in a long time.
Nervousness seeps into my brain but I push it back, taking him into my mouth and guiding him to the back of my throat.
As my nose hits his clothe stomach, my head is whipped back by his grip on my hair, a sudden flash of pain strikes my cheek and I feel tears welling up in my eyes from the sting.
“I asked you a question slut, or are you too stupid to use your words?” The look in his eyes flashed with amusement, like he was speaking to a cute puppy who just learnt a new trick.
“Yes sir.”
“Yes what?”
“Yes sir, I want your validation.” It hurt to spit the words out, but as soon as I did my head was thrusted back onto him.
He doesn't speak for a while, just grunting softly and leaning his head back against the cubicle wall with his eyes shut, fucking his dick right to the back of my throat like I'm nothing but a fleshlight he's using. All I can do is stifle my gags and take him, my face wet with my tears and the saliva dripping down my chin.
“So.Fucking.Good.” He chokes out between thrusts.
My mind goes black with everything else other than pleasing him, nothing but the pain in my throat and the blurry vision of his body above me.
His breathing quickens and I'm sure he's about to cum, my hair now fully being ripped out by the strength of his hands tangled in it.
“What should I do?”
I look up at him and try to muster up the most confused face I can under the circumstances, managing to furrow my eyebrows.
“Should I cum…down your throat?” His thrusts begin to slow slightly as he drags out his question.
“Or on this pretty little face?” His finger drops down and traces my jaw.
“Or should I have you lift up your shirt so I can cum on those perfect tits of yours, baby?” His questions receive no answer considering my mouth was still bing invaded by his thick cock.
“No, No, I know the perfect place.” His voice is dominant and looms over me.
With a swift movement he pulls me off of him, one arm under my armpit while the other stays in its place in my hair. They glide down to my own joggers, ripping them down to the floor along with my underwear, leaving me exposed and shaking from all the sensations of my body.
His large hands find my thighs and grips onto the backs of them.
“Jump.” He orders, and of course I follow through. Before I know it I’m pinned up against the cold wall, and being forced to bounce on his solid dick that's thrusting in and out of me at a rapid pace.
My arms find his shoulders and I cling on, hiding my whimpers in the Crook of his neck as I let him use my cunt for his pleasure.
“You want me to make you cum don't you doll?” He teases.
“Ye-Yes s-sir, please sir, yes, yes, yes!” I hate how the pathetic yelps come out of my mouth but the pleasure rocking through me takes my mind away from any embarrassment.
“That other little boy couldn't do it for you could he? You need a man to make you cum don't you huh?”
“Please make me cum Daddy, I'll do anything.” my voice sounded more like broken sobs coming through my lazily parted lips, already cock drunk from this humiliating situation.
He grips my wrist tightly and drags it between my legs.
“Rub yourself, c’mon princess I know you can do it,” His sweet words hit my ears and I immediately obey, becoming a gasping, moaning mess as I rub rapid circles around my sensitive clit.
Almost immediately after I feel myself reaching my climax, my head throwing itself back as he lunges for my throat, leaving sharp hickeys down my neck.
His breathing changes and soon after he's open-mouthed kissing my neck as I feel him pump his cum up into me, the grip he has on me weakening with every moan he produces.
As he lets go of the hold he has on me I drop to the floor, knees weak after the use he put them through. Im tired, and sore and sticky, I can feel him dripping out of me and onto the disgusting toilet floor. My eyes are heavy and my face flushed, with chapped lips and baby hairs sticking with sweat to my forehead and a tangled mess behind.
As the glow of my orgasm fades I get the same sinking feeling I always get when I finish, the feeling where Im immediately disgusted and ashamed and just want to cry and try and forget that I've just made a fool out of myself for a strange man.
I bring my hands to my face and sigh deeply, still trying to catch my breath. I forget the man*-whose name I still don't know* is there. Im sure he’ll see himself out eventually.
My unravelling show of self-pity is interrupted as I feel the man crouch down next to me, silently watching me cry into my hands.
Awkward, I bet he's regretting even meeting me now.
“Hey,hey.” He coos, his voice softer than soft. He seems afraid to touch me as his fingers ghost over my arm.
I bet he's so fucking irritated god I would be.
Imagine you've just fucked someone out of pity and they start crying on the fucking floor.
“I’m just gonna clean you up okay angel?” I sniffle and stop in confused awe. Moving my hands away from my face I wipe the tears off and pull them down until my eyes are peaking through.
He keeps eye contact for a moment before reaching over and grabbing toilet paper from behind him, ripping some off he starts to clean up the mess between my legs, uttering small apologies as I hiss from the contact.
“Shh..it's okay baby, you're okay.” His words are soft and comforting as he manoeuvres my clothes back on me. His hands stop at my waist as he tries to catch my eyes, but I'm looking everywhere but his face with my half-lidded gaze.
“Can I see that pretty face again? Please baby, let me clean you up.” I nod, eyebrows still subtly furrowed in suspicion.
With the softest touch he moves my hands away from my face, taking them in one of his and using the other to gently wipe off any moisture that remained. His touch felt like a feather grazing my skin, it was nice, I've never been treated so nicely before.
He fucking hates me doesn't he, oh well what do I care, I don't care anyways.
He places a hand on my knee, not in a way that's sexual but more of a calming gesture, probably to help stop the shaking by body has absentmindedly started doing.
Everything inside me is telling me to run, push him away and go find my bed to rock myself to sleep in, but something about the kind care in his eyes and the gentle touches he's gracing me with is making me want to stay here for as long as I can.
His other hand comes up to my hair, his fingers attempting to gently remove the knots that had built up from his harsh tugs.
‘Did I hurt you, go too far?”
I shook my head.
“Why are you doing this?” I broke my silence, voice barely audible.
“Doing what, sweetness?” He glanced down at my face, his voice soft and caring with a glance of concern.
“Why are you being so nice to me?” The words left my lips with a short chuckle, not an amused, joking chuckle, but more of disbelief and confusion-like when you hear something so ridiculous you can't help but let a chuckle slip out.
I sound so fucking pathetic.
“I’m taking care of you, you deserve it.” His confusion grew, his eyebrows getting more furrowed together the more he took in the disbelief on my face.
“You don't even know me, I don't even know your name, you don't know mine.”
“I would like to.” I stopped, staring blankly at him.
“My name Is Y/N.” I mustered up, I'm sure he doesn't really care-but it would be nice to be on a first name basis with this man, at least he's being helpful.
“Beautiful name, it suits you.” He spoke without moving his head away from the focus he had on my hair.
“What's your name?”
“Dae-Ho” His fingers freed themselves and he leant forwards, placing a soft kiss to the top of my head.
“Thank you.”
“What for?” he whispered against the skin of my forehead, the coolness of his breath causing a shiver to sneak down my spine.
“For telling me your name.”
Thank you for being nice, for holding me softly, for being so sweet and kind and affectionate to someone you don't care about.
“Angel I will tell you every single thing I know if it makes you happy.” My breath hitched and all wordings fell short in my throat. His eyes were light and kind, he didn't seem at all to mind easing me through this mini meltdown.
“Why?”
“I told you, i’d like to get to know you.’ He paused, his mind seemingly somewhere else, thinking deeply about his next words.
“Would you like to sleep in my bed with me tonight? i’d like to be able to hold you now, it feels wrong to part ways after this, unless you have plans with the crayon you were sleeping with before.” The sarcasm in his voice seeps through when he speaks about Thanos, a subtle spit of jealousy perhaps mixed in with his words.
Interesting development.

fine line | thanos (choi su-bong)
the barracks were quiet, save for the soft murmur of other players trying to get some rest. you sat on your bunk, legs stretched out in front of you, feeling the familiar weight of your belly.
jun-hee, player 222, sat next to you, her hand resting on her own swollen stomach. it felt strange, being surrounded by danger and fear, yet finding a kind of peace in talking about the one thing that kept you both going: the babies.
“i can’t believe we’re both pregnant in here,” jun-hee said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. “i always thought the world would be different by now, but… i guess this is just how life works out, huh?”
you smiled, nodding. “yeah. it’s crazy. but honestly, it’s kinda the only reason i’m still here. these little ones, they’re everything.”
junhee rubbed her belly gently, a soft smile on her lips. “same here. i didn’t expect this kind of life, but it’s like… being a mom now, it’s like i have something bigger to fight for.”
you let out a soft laugh. “i get you. even in a place like this, we’ve still got our kids to think about.”
jun-hee looked over at you, suddenly more playful. “speaking of kids, i’ve got to tell you something. my baby daddy is here too.”
you raised an eyebrow. “wait, really? no way. who?”
junhee’s eyes sparkled with a mischievous grin. “player 333. you know him as myung-gi.”
you blinked, then let out a low whistle. “myung-gi? as in that coinmg guy?”
jun-hee nodded, not even a little ashamed. “yep. crazy, right?”
you let out a laugh, a bit of disbelief in your voice. “wow, that’s... that’s wild.” you leaned back, looking at her with a grin. “your baby daddy is the reason me and my baby daddy are in debt."
junhee’s eyes widened slightly. “i apologise on his behalf... but wait, is your baby daddy here too? no way.”
you nodded, your grin growing bigger. “yep. he is. and… trust me, it’s not who you’d expect.”
jun-hee tilted her head, curious. “who is it, then?”
you leaned in a little, lowering your voice as though sharing a secret. “it’s su-bong...ah sorry thanos.”
jun-hee’s eyes almost popped out of her head. “what? no way. you’re telling me that your baby daddy is thanos?”
you shrugged nonchalantly. “yeah, believe it or not. crazy, huh?”
jun-hee shook her head, unable to suppress a laugh. “this is... way too much. okay, okay, we need to meet by the bunks. i want to see this. you and me, we’ll introduce them to each other.”
you raised an eyebrow, feeling a little hesitant. “you think that’s a good idea? i mean, myung-gi and su-bong don’t exactly… get along.”
jun-hee smirked. “it’s gonna be fine. trust me. they’re both here for the same reason now. i’m sure they can at least pretend to get along. for the sake of us, and our babies.”
you were still nervous, but the excitement was enough to push you forward. “okay, fine. let’s do it.”
the two of you carefully stood up, waddling over toward the area where the men were usually hanging out. you spotted su-bong in the corner, his large frame looming over the other players, while myung-gi was off to the side, doing his own thing.
as you and jun-hee dragged each man to the agreed meeting spot, both men’s eyes immediately flicked toward you. there was a sharp tension in the air as they both realized who the other was. myung-gi’s brow furrowed, and su-bong’s fists clenched at his sides.
jun-hee crossed her arms, giving you a look. “this is gonna be fun.”
you took a deep breath. “fun? more like intense.”
before you could do anything, both men started toward each other, their bodies tense and ready for a fight. su-bong’s deep voice was the first to break the silence.
“you,” he muttered, eyes narrowed. “what are you doing here?”
myung-gi sneered, taking a step closer. “don’t act like you’re in charge here. you think you can just walk around like you own the place?”
jun-hee quickly stepped in between them, arms raised. “hey! no fighting. not now, not here. we’re pregnant, okay? we’re trying to make it out of here alive, and you two are gonna work it out.”
you added, stepping up beside her. “yeah. no more fighting. our kids need us to be smart. we’re in this together.”
the two men stared at each other for a long moment, tension thick in the air. but as the seconds ticked by, something in their eyes softened—just slightly.
jun-hee, ever the mediator, was the first to break the silence. “come on, guys. we’re both in this for the same reason. for our kids. so, no more petty grudges. can you just... act like adults for once?”
you nodded, giving them a pointed look. “we have to work together. for them. our little ones deserve a chance.”
su-bong let out a frustrated sigh but nodded slowly, his fists unclenching. “fine. for the babies.”
myung-gi gave him a long, hard look before exhaling sharply. “yeah, fine. but don’t think this means we’re friends.”
jun-hee raised an eyebrow, her voice light. “we’re not asking for that. just... can we at least get through this without tearing each other apart?”
the two men exchanged a last heated glance before reluctantly stepping back. you and jun-hee gave each other a silent nod of approval.
“alright,” jun-hee said, her tone softening. “that’s a start. we can make this work.”
you smiled, feeling a little lighter now that the tension had eased, even if just for a moment. the road ahead was still long, but maybe, just maybe, with a little teamwork, you could all make it out of here—alive and with your babies.

Kinktober list 2024

The walls were damp, and green moss crept up the corners of the lifeless cell. It was dark and grey, rid of anything interesting, not even a lamp was present in this room. Instead, the light emerged from a huge window on one side of the wall, its weak lighting barely lit up his cell. Other than that, there was a sturdy door along with an equally strong chair. The chair was placed in the middle of this prison out of stone, and on top of it sat a white-haired male who wore tight clothes. His hair was loose and it reached the floor, his hands were tied carefully behind the chair and a grin spread across his lips.
Sounds of footsteps echoed throughout the tranquil room. They were rhythmic, eager, and firm, he could already guess who it was. What followed next was the loud slam of the heavy door. It got yanked open within seconds and a person emerged from the frame, then the passage shut tight again, destroying any chance of escaping. Your eyes scanned his room, eyeing him up and down suspiciously, trying to read his thoughts. That proved to be more difficult than desired since he was still keeping a psychotic expression under such circumstances, not caring about how he was being perceived.
You could basically smell the moisture in the air, how damp and humid it was. It wasn't an exactly pleasant smell, but neither of you seemed to be bothered by it. Slowly you made your way to the center, dragging another chair behind you. With a swift move, you positioned it before him and sat down comfortably, crossing your arms. After waiting for a while, you scoffed, “Not gonna say anything, jester?” He has always been like this. Unpredictable, illogical, and drop-dead annoying.
He laughed, before raising his head to stare at you. His eyes were heterochromia, they somehow appeared creepy, causing you to feel uneasy. “My, I get to have the first word?” Nikolai chirped, looking totally unfazed by the whole situation. “Go ahead, ask away, I can’t guarantee an answer though.” You replied, slumping back against the lean. Finally, after all this time, you managed to catch this clown of a man. It’s not that you failed previously, rather, he kept escaping with his bothersome ability and nullifying handcuffs didn’t seem to work well on him.
But you learned from your mistakes and perfected your plan repeatedly to get to this point. Since he needs his coat to activate it, simply removing it should suffice. On top of it you also had to prevent him from creating a new makeshift coat, hence the tight clothes and lack of sharp objects. “How nice you are, is it because we’ve been acquaintances for so long?” The male chuckled, and you slammed your fist against your chair, cracking it slightly. A few scratches remained on your skin, though you didn't notice the supposed pain. The man thought your vein was going to pop from how tight you bawled your hands.
“Don’t refer to us so intimately.” You snapped then continued with, “You’ve been nothing but a pain in the ass. It seems you don’t have anything important to say. My turn to pose questions.” After threatening him a little, he immediately yelled, “Hey! Don’t be so mean~ We do have a long history after all.” You listened to his complaints, to which you responded, “I’m not proud of that.” A fake sigh left his throat as he winced, “I’m so hurt~ then lemme ask, you wanna play some games before the interrogation?” Again with his unreasonable antics, you could feel your lifespan shortening whenever he opens his mouth.
No normal human would ask something this out of pocket while being interrogated after all, he was a special case in the worst sense possible. Someone deserving of the tightest surveillance for his creative methods. Yet you knew better than to question his motives because there’s simply no logic behind it other than what his twisted mind can come up with.
“No, it’s not the time for games and chitchat. My turn now.” He pouted at your answer, calling you a killjoy under his breath or avoiding your gaze. Such a childish man, how did someone like this get an ability? You furrowed your brows before interrogating him, “Tell me, who do you work for?” Nikolai tilted his head to the side, smiling innocently. “Why don’t you guess?”
Within a fraction of a second, you pulled out a gun and pointed it towards his head. You growled, patience running thin with each passing moment, “I don’t want to repeat myself, jester-” Despite the threat and importance of the situation, he interrupted you, correcting your choice of vocabulary with sarcasm, “Not jester, I’m a clown.” It was obviously just to spite you, look at him playing petty games. The corners of your lips twitched into an intimidating smile, eyebrows raised as you snapped, “Is that so? Then pardon my rudeness.”
He didn’t look nervous, eyes on the muzzle of the gun as he replied, “Such a brute you are, this is no fun at all.” Then the male exaggerated a sigh again, moving his head back to the point you could see the bottom of his chin before he turned back to stare at you, “Fiiiine, I’m a member of a terrorist organization, the decay of angels- or was it the death of angels? I don’t remember~” Nikolai joked, watching you in awe as your anger threatened to boil over. He could swear he saw smoke coming out. Your hand tightened around the weapon, gritting your teeth as you listened to him yap. It was time for the next question, that’s why you asked, “What are your motives?”
“Motives? Each of us has our own reasons. As for mine… don’t you know me well enough to have a hunch?" He taunted, his tone had a layer of mockery hidden behind it and his eyes suggested the same thing. This overconfidence of his was going to be his downfall. “Who can ever know what’s going on inside that brain of yours.” You spit back at him, a fierce look plastered on your face, unwilling to lose. “Are you saying you can’t fathom my thought process?” When he said that, it hit a nerve inside you. Was he calling you stupid?
“Then let’s make it into a quiz! If you can guess about 50% correctly, I’ll tell you everything.” He suggested a guessing game again, and you couldn’t help but click your tongue in annoyance, “Tsk, your iconic quizzes again. What happens if I lose?” The boy squeezed his eyes shut, seemingly deep in thought before chirping, “Absolutely nothing! It’s a win-win situation for you!” That was unexpected, you thought. After much contemplation, you eventually agreed, “Alright, I’ll consider this your last wish.”
You stared at his face, trying to recall all the information you had on him. He was a carefree, reckless, and dangerous man. Words like cold-hearted, crazy, and apathetic could also work. Was there more to him? It was hard to believe there’d be any reason behind his actions, considering the gruesome ways he killed. “You are a sadist who enjoys killing innocent people, which is why you joined a terrorist group. Also, you are a fucking maniac." Despite you outright spitting insults at him, he didn’t stop smiling and stayed calm. But a faint breath of disappointment stuck to his never leaving smirk, as if he was saying ‘told you’.
“Eh ehh, sadly that’s wrong~ I don’t actually enjoy killing people.” He admitted, wearing a sorry look on his face. “Who knows if you are lying or not.” You spat, eying him up and down with a skeptical look. “Do you have sooo little faith in me?” Nikolai tilted his head to one side, giggling and enjoying your baffled expression. “I’ll give you one more chance then, or old times sake!” He said as if he pitied you. Of course, this agitated you, how can he act like he has the upper hand when he’s your prisoner?
“Is someone forcing you? Not that your sentence would lessen.” Since you’ve been presented with another chance, you proposed a different answer but were met with the same response. “Also wrong! No one is forcing me, as I’m striving to achieve true freedom~” The boy sang the last part, like an eccentric, enjoying the situation even. His words or hints, no matter what he said, didn’t make any sense to you.
For you, these were sentences without any connections, or you had too little background knowledge to grasp the concept. Though you knew he wasn't all that dumb, well, to some degree. “Now, guess, how much of it was the truth?” Nikolai announced, a sheepish, amused grin spreading on his lips. How he loves to play mind games and to annoy you. “Now you know why I don’t trust you. You only talk in riddles.” You mumbled under your breath, taking your gun back while his gaze followed the weapon.
Once more, he found it boring how little reaction you had, calling you boring in his mind. “Not gonna kill me anymore?” The white-haired boy asked instead, raising his chin high in the air. “You know the answer.” With a sigh you rolled your eyes, he was smarter than this, he knew his worth as a hostage and source of information. It’d be a waste to have him dead already, and exactly because of these reasons you were annoyed beyond measure. If it wasn’t for the rules and regulations, you’d had his head rolling by now. “Consider yourself lucky.” You scoffed with an eye roll, standing up and walking towards him.
With his curiosity peaked, he waited impatiently, were you finally going to make a move? The uncertainty clutched his racing heart in a tight grip, feelings of unknown origins emerging from the depths of his consciousness. “You are getting excited. I wonder how long you can laugh, clown.” Much to your dismay, his eyes sparkled as he uttered, “Wahhh~ You remembered?! I guess all that time spent with you wasn’t for nothing!” Yeah, you shouldn’t have done him that favor, someone like him didn’t deserve any shred of kindness. He’d only use it against you in the end.
Without listening to him any longer you leaned over, pulling his pants and underwear down only enough to take out his cock. A slight blush crept onto his cheeks, he jerked when you touched his member. “H-huh..? What’s going on?” The tremble in his voice was apparent as his pupils followed your hands, arousal building inside him. This was an unexpected turn of events, was there more to your cold facade-? “Don’t get the wrong idea, it’s a torture method.” You smiled at him, a reassuring smirk dripping with sarcasm.
"Oh? Are you really gonna use such underhanded methods to make me speak?" Nikolai tried to bargain with you, all while doing his utmost to appear unaffected. In the end, he was all about having the act of an unpredictable clown. "No need to get frightened, I'm sure you'll come to enjoy it, considering your personality."
After listening to your prediction, he was almost eager to know what you were going to do, leaning forward to get closer to you. A slight pout on his lips as he thought sharply about what you had in store for him. His binds were uncomfortable and forced him to stay put, causing him to try and break them for a while, before slumping back into his seat, giving up on the idea of escaping. The boy sighed unsatisfied as he mumbled, "Alright, show me what you have in mind."
The two of you may be enemies, and your organization is not all that innocent either, yet you made sure to use enough lube on him. You didn't want to hurt him in that way, it seemed a bit too cruel. Minutes later, you covered his entire lower body with it, bathing his dick in lubricant. Afterward, you pulled out a thin metal rod and smeared it in lube as well. The way his expression twisted the moment he saw your little surprise for him was satisfying, to say the least. How his pupils shrunk ever so slightly and hands gripped the binds tighter, enough to bruise his own wrists, all while a hint of fear or lust built inside him. This was definitely going to be a new experience, one that he won't ever forget.
“Can you guess what I'll do with this?" You asked him, teasingly, to rile him up and make his emotions explode. "You are going to fuck me up with it, aren't cha?" Nikolai grinned widely, sweat dripping down his cheeks while he spread his legs a little further apart to grant you more access. It was also to signalize you that he was ready for it. “Since you know what this is for, I won't need to explain." You commented and held it elegantly as if you knew what you were doing, preparing the tool as well.
His breathing hitched at the sight of it, somehow watching your fingers work so diligently made his heart race. Then you lined the rounded end of the rod with the slit from his dick, slowly pushing the tip inside. On the other hand, Nikolai closed his eyes, biting his lip, and trying his best to not trash around. He could feel the toy stretching him from the inside, poking at places he never explored before.
Small whines escaped his thinly pressed lips, sounding like the painful groan of a hurt animal. "Nghh... d-dammit... ah." The man cursed as you pushed more of it in, cheeks flushed red as his dick got hard, leaking some pearly precum already. You could see the struggle just by looking at his body language, how he trembled and shook, sweating so furiously. A sense of arousal coursed through you at seeing this new, unfamiliar side of his. To think he could pull such an erotic face, watching him try to hold himself back was more than entertaining.
"Can you even take this?" You asked playfully, testing him. His eyes opened just enough to glare at you, squeezing out a 'of course' before going back to his muffled moans. You let him keep his pride for now, and focused on pushing more of the pole in, saying, "Fine, as you wish then." With each millimeter that was entering him, his blush darkened and his voice turned louder. At some point, his eyes became teary and his dumb grin returned. "Hmm!! Uh-uhgghh~ ah.. so rough, h-how much more...?" You could swear you heard some desperation in his voice, licking your lips before answering, "We are halfway there, be a big boy and take it~"
Then you used a little more strength than before to penetrate him, ending with him losing control and screaming your name with such ecstasy, "yyY/NN!! NggGHh~! Ahh it hurts, hurts so m-much ♡♥︎" Even though he was complaining, his expression was a totally different one. He was enjoying it, so much that his cock twitched while leaking twice the amount as before. God, he could swear he almost came in that moment, and he was sure you knew it too. "I didn't expect you to actually enjoy it this so soon." You chuckled, sticking your index finger through the ring at the other end to have a better grip.
The male in front of you was already a twitching mess, gaze unfocused as he stared at his own crotch, watching his dirty fluids seep out of himself. His voice hitched and he gulped loudly, whimpering at the slightest movements, "Nghh~ uh-uhmmf!" You waited until his excessive emotions calmed down a bit, then gave him a quick warning, "M' gonna move now." Before slowly using your finger to pull the rod out of his cock. "W-wait.. aaAAhHHH ♡~"
He threw his head back almost immediately, tongue rolling out while bawling his hands, his grip on the binds were strong enough for his knuckles to turn white. This time he couldn't hold back and trashed his legs around, which is why you put your hand on his soft thighs and pressed down, stopping him. "Don't move now dear, or I might break something I shouldn't." You warned him, pushing the toy back inside him. "MHhhh!! Ah-oohHH, i-is this supposed to be the to-torture?" Nikolai sneered behind broken sobs, those pretty tears finally spilled from his eye sockets.
"Concentrate on not passing out first, or this game will get boring,” you told him, tracing circles on his inner thighs to calm him down. He listened to you with defiance, obviously not happy with your answer. But all those thoughts were pushed aside the moment your hand began moving again. There's only one problem, you were painfully slow. It took so long for you to stick it in or to pull it out. Sure, it was still stimulating, but he needed more than that. He wanted you to be rougher, to really torture him. Oh if only you knew what a- "y/nnn~ please g-go faster? The Pain feels g-good ♡!" ...a masochist he was. Well, now you know.
"Such a perverted slut, boys like you don't get to tell me what to do." You snarled, pushing the whole thing inside again and grabbing his gland with your fingers. Crawling at it with your nails, scratching the skin. "AaaAAAHH..!! Y/n y/n!! H-hurt so much~!" Nikolai let out a scream akin moan, head thrown back and arching his back, all while his charming voice graced your ears. He was very loud, but his whines and sounds of pleasure were adorable, enough to serve as encouragement for you to continue.
"Why don't you stop the joking and tell me everything then, sir Clown?" You teased him, letting go of his dick not due to some pity, but rather because you wanted to try something else. This time, you spun the sounding rod around while it was still placed inside him, rubbing against his urethra and watching his face twist into some erotic expressions straight out of a porno. Eyes rolling back, hair sticking to his forehead and bouncing around, drool running down his chin.
All his blood was coursing to his cheeks or lower abdomen, precum getting everywhere and wetting everything. There was a puddle on the ground beneath him, and it only grew in size. "NGhh~ oOOhh, y/n it f-feels MHh! I-I can't, no m-more, please haaahHH♡♥︎" For a split second you were concerned if you went too far, yet all worries vanished the moment you saw the blissful expression he had. How his tongue hung out like a lewd doggy, figure shaking uncontrollably. "Oh god? Are you sure you want me to stop?" You asked him with raised brows and blatant irony, now changing your actions again. This time you moved it in and out of him as fast as you could, fucking into him, watching his pre gushing out like a fountain whenever it went deep inside him.
"HMnnGGHH..!! Oh- FuuUckkK! Ah-ah, too fast too fassst!!" He was groaning about the speed now, all while crying and shaking in his seat. His toes curled and a thin layer of sweat covered his skin, causing him to shine or glimmer. That once clean silver hair turned slightly dirty at the ends, his chest and ears now turning red as well. He could feel the stimulation coursing through his veins, gnawing at him, intertwining with the pain and being blended into an inseparable mixture. The hurt was turning into arousal, and soon his body, his nerves, and his heart couldn't keep the two apart anymore.
Each time you spat at him, insulted him or were mean, he could feel himself losing a piece of his sanity. "D-don't ghHuu, stop ♥︎, keep going, until m' sa-satisfied..." He was crying now, limps calming down a bit. The boy didn't squirm around as much, keeping a somewhat collected composure while watching you with heart-shaped pupils. "Tsk tsk tsk." You clicked your tongue, shaking your head in opposition at him, sighing as you uttered, "Have you already forgotten what I told you? You have to ask nicely, you don't get to tell me what to do, clown." And just like that, he lost any chances he had to cum.
You stopped moving your hand, or at least went as slow as before. "Ah..! D-damn it.. y/n~ can't you please go faster? I'm so cloooose!" He realized his mistake and decided to not argue too much, this time betting his chances on his puppy eyes. A small pat to his head followed, and then you cupped his cheeks before pinching them.
“How about~ you promise to tell me whatever I want to hear without any games or lies?" You should step up your game and remind yourself of your duty, which is why you proposed it multiple times, hoping he'll agree and obey your command. To push his buttons even more, you added a pinch to his milky thighs and said, "I'll let you cum if you do." Then you stopped doing anything entirely so that his stupid little brain could catch a break to think about your words. He snapped back from his short-lived subspace, staring at you with a dumb, frozen grin. "T-that's hmm~! so sly y/n, so meaan.. haaHhnn..”
"I've made it clear since the beginning, that this is supposed to be torture." You scooped up some of the filthy liquid dripping down his shaft and brought it to his lips, making him lick you clean. He winced at the taste but was obedient enough to just swallow it all. "Now, what will be your answer, clown?" Nikolai thought about it, though this time his thought process got interrupted when you began moving again, leading to him whimpering in full volume, "Ughh.. aAAHhhh.?!! I-i dun- mhm, know..?"
Suddenly you slapped his dick, and he groaned again, "mmMMHh!! Gu-ghHgnnn!! Y/nn~!!" A low sigh left your lips as you pressured him, saying, "You have to decide soon, I don't have all day and I don't mind leaving you like this." His ears perked and he begged for a tad more time, but to his dismay, you didn't listen. "HNg, Wa-wait.. ah..!! Too much, to-too fast mhhh~" With his long-awaited release coming soon and your little threats, the boy was overwhelmed, head spinning and malfunctioning.
It took so long for him to make up his mind, a melting expression on his face as he nodded, whispering meekly, "I-I'll tell you.. p-please, hnngg, lemme cum." That was easy, you thought, smirking at him gently and answering, "Since you agreed to cooperate, cum my little clown ♡" As soon as you finished your sentence, you went down on him again, abusing his red and swollen cock with the little metal pole.
"UHhmmm!! Oh please please pleaaaase, aAAhh! Don't s-stooOop!♡♥︎" He started blabbering without thinking about his words, too far gone to form coherent sentences. The veins on his hands became apparent, eyes unfocused and all fucked out. Knuckles as white as his hair due to his tight grasp on his binds, thighs shaking like they were made out of pudding. Sticky pre flowing down his now bruised thighs. Red dots plagued that area of his skin due to you repeatedly pinching and groping him there.
His toes curled, arch arched so beautifully into a crescent form, and shining fat tears decorated his naturally handsome features. That voice of his has become hoarse at this point, from all the shouting and moans. If only his personality wasn't so annoying, and if only he wasn't your enemy, you would have found him cute, maybe a little attractive as well. With a swift motion, you pulled the sounding rod out of him while wrapping your free hand over his tip, trying to catch as much of his cum as possible.
And god, heavens, the pleasure in that moment was too much for him to handle! His brain had already turned into mush at that point, but now it was even more broken! Chocked out whines and stuttered moans slipping past his filthy lips and he cried out for your name, calling out to you multiple times and begging without any reason, "y/nnnn!! Y/n y-y/nNN! So good, too much AaAHGGgnNn!! Please, I-i beg you please~♡♥︎" A shiver ran down your spine at this sight, this scenery of him being totally wrecked and pathetic. How vulnerable and helpless he was, and so awfully submissive. Who would have guessed he'd have such a lewd and adorable side?
Nikolai felt a knot tightening inside his stomach, it clenched and twisted, about to burst. This strange yet pleasurable feeling gnawing at him, tugging and squeezing him, it was too much, he couldn't ignore it any longer. "NGhHHH, gonna cum!! Cummin' cumminnn'!! I'm- aaAAAhHHHG!♡♥︎~" He yelled one last time, screaming until he choked because he didn't have enough air in his lungs anymore. Coughing violently while more broken noises left him, his voice cracking whenever he went too high.
Thick robes of cum spurt out of him, covering your hand, and running down your palm slowly. That was proof of its disgusting texture, it looked like slime and was still warm. "God you must have been pent up." You joked, watching it drip down your hand for a bit. While most of his semen got caught by your hand, some of it still landed between his legs, on the cement floor.
You gave him a few minutes to calm down from his high, watching his blurry eyes return to life. It took him almost three minutes to snap back to reality, to leave that little subspace he was in. Sweat and tears mingled, making his skin shine. The tips of his bangs were wet and stuck to his forehead, his eyes were half-lidded and swollen from weeping so much.
Once you deemed him conscious enough, you brought your hand over to his lips, ordering him to lick it. "Even if this is a prison, you are not allowed to defile it with your filthy fluids." Then you grabbed his chin, not bothering with his muffled protests, and clasped your hand over his mouth. Now he had no choice but to lick it, and like the little whore he was, he enjoyed it.
His wet and hot muscles moved across your skin, trying to lick up as much as possible to then swallow it. A heavy blush on his cheeks, one that hasn't left since the beginning of your session. You watched him with an amused gaze, saying, "You agreed to tell me everything, right? Otherwise, I might have to edge you even longer." He shivered, shoulder jerking upwards as your little threat. The now somewhat docile boy nodded to show he understood what you said, while his tongue rolled between your fingers. "Good boy. Never thought the day would come when you'd earn that title." You praised him, and a breathy and sarcastic laugh came from you.
Right now, he was still cleaning up the mess he made, frowning a little at the taste, or rather the thick consistency. It caused him to feel sick, but he loved every single second, it was just so arousing, and he could feel himself getting hard again~ in the meantime, you stroked his hair, patting his head, waiting for him to finish patiently. And as soon as he did, you grabbed his hair by the roots and yanked on them. The sudden pull was enough to make the chair trip over, ending with him not even having the time to gasp before landing face-first on the ground.
“Y-y/n???" How baffled he must be, hands still tied without any chances of escape and face now pressed into the mutt. "Clean it up, your mess." You muttered, finally letting go of him. Then you sat down on the chair you brought with you, arms crossed over your chest once more, this time wearing a relaxed expression, looking at him from above. The subtle power struggles made his heart flutter, blood rushing to his lower part again. He stared at you wide-eyed, then turned to look at the ground, seeing some drops of his white cum splattered there.
A low whine escaped his throat before he lowered himself, sticking his tongue out and licking it from the dirty ground. It was a bitter and unpleasant taste, he could feel the sand crunching and his stomach rejecting it. Yet he persisted, swallowing all of it and showing you his tongue after every gulp, to prove to you he did it. Nikolai could hear your light chuckles and see that content smile, he tried his best to position himself steadily and looked up at you.
What met your gaze was the face of a fanatic pervert who enjoyed every second spent to the fullest. Eyes bore that familiar haze, sweat still soaking his skin and body twitching with each word he voiced out. He used a meek yet lustful voice as he whispered with his remaining strength, "Like seeing me be your 'good boy'?"

Nini!rant 2.0:
Since I didn’t research anything for this one let’s talk about HIV (idk man)
Hiv is a virus, and it’s often mistaken for aids. Now let’s see, what are the differences between the two?
First, hiv is not the same as aids, though it can become aids over a long time (after ca. 10 years). While it’s developing, it doesn’t have any visible effects except when you get infected with it. Cuz then you’ll get symptoms akin to the flu, or about a week or two, and because it’s identical to the flu, many people get hiv without knowing.
Even though there is no cure for hiv, it can be neutralised with medicine. There are also tests you can buy to see if you have it, but it’s still the best if you do a check up. And the great thing is, if your body takes the treatment well and if you also eat according to your then given diet (by your doctor) it won’t develop into aids. Instead, it will just be a virus that lives with you and does nothing. Like, you won’t even be infectious to other people and can have kids or live long.
The only downside is the repression medicine makes your body weak, so it’s easier for one to catch illnesses or have the symptoms stronger than the average.
Anyway, people with hiv who are undergoing treatment are safe, there is no harm in engaging in intercourse with them since they aren’t infectious. Also from what I’ve heard, they do check-ups every month to see if the medicine works so rest assured.

CROSSING THE LINE — PART TEN ♡
paige x azzi
warnings: sexual content (at the end)
word count: 9.8k
A/N: Alright this is the last chapter of the series 🥹. I really enjoyed writing this one honestly and this won't be my last story! I tried to combine the things people requested the most for the last chapter so it's honestly just a really cute chapter to wrap up their storyline. There is some sexual content at the end but if you don't like that kind of thing you don't have to read it and won't miss much as it's just the end of the series. But for those of you who do like it, it's there lol! Please leave live reactions and comments, thank you so much for reading this series 🫶🏼🤭.

March 2029
Paige paced back and forth in her dressing room, her footsteps quick and uneven as she muttered under her breath. Nika, lounging on the couch, watched her with an amused expression, while everyone else was still getting dressed.
“Twin, you need to chill and sit down,” Nika said, shaking her head. “You’re gonna get sweaty, and Azzi’s going to kill you and probably me for letting you do this.”
“How am I supposed to sit down?” Paige shot back, throwing her hands in the air. “I haven’t seen my fiancée all day! I have no idea what she’s thinking!”
Nika stifled a laugh. “Yeah, that’s the point. You’re not supposed to see her today. It’s tradition or whatever.”
Paige groaned, reluctantly plopping down onto the edge of the couch. She adjusted her button up carefully, making sure she didn’t wrinkle it. “This is torture, who came up with this ridiculous tradition anyway. Who wouldn’t want to see their wife before they got married,” she muttered.
A few seconds later, as if the universe was reading her mind, a knock sounded at the door. Nika stood up to answer it, sharing a quick glance at Paige whose face lit up a little bit. When Nika opened the door, Caroline stood on the other side, a playful smirk on her face.
“Azzi wants Paige to come to the door,” Caroline said, her tone light, “but she can’t look.”
Nika laughed quietly as she turned to Paige. “Come on, drama queen. Get up.”
With exaggerated reluctance, Paige got to her feet. Nika guided her to the door, positioning her by the wall so she and Azzi couldn’t see each other.
Paige felt a familiar hand slide into hers from the other side of the door frame, their fingers intertwining. Azzi’s voice came softly, almost a whisper. “Hi, baby.”
A wide grin broke out on Paige’s face. “Hi, mama.”
Azzi chuckled at the name, her thoughts drifting briefly to their son, who Geno had whisked away the moment he’d arrived.
“Have you seen him yet?” Paige asked, her tone softening as her thoughts turned to their little boy just like Azzi.
“Not since this morning,” Azzi replied. “But Geno promised he’d keep him entertained. I heard him say something about introducing him to everyone in the building before getting him dressed.”
Paige laughed quietly. “So basically, he’s spoiling him.”
“Of course,” Azzi said with a smile. “I think Geno likes being a grandpa more than he did coaching sometimes.”
Paige’s heart melted as she pictured her son’s bright blue eyes and laughter filling the building. “I still can’t believe we have him sometimes Az. He’s perfect.”
Azzi’s voice softened. “He really is. And he’s going to be so proud of his moms today.”
“Which is why you need to calm down goofball,” Azzi continued gently as she squeezed Paige’s hand.
Paige scoffed, trying to sound confident. “Psh, what are you talking about? I’m cool as a cucumber.”
A laugh bubbled up from Azzi. “I could feel your stress from the other side of the building, Paige and your hands are sweaty.”
At that, Paige tried to pull her hand away to wipe it on a towel, but Azzi held onto her firmly. “Nope, not so fast,” Azzi teased.
Paige sighed, leaning her head back against the wall. “This is so unfair,” she mumbled. “I can’t even see you.”
“I know,” Azzi replied, her voice warm. “But I’m here. We’ve got this.”
Paige exhaled a shaky breath, a grin tugging at her lips. “We’re getting married today, baby.” Her voice wavered with emotion, the reality of the moment hitting her all over again.
Azzi smiled on the other side of the door, her thumb gently stroking the back of Paige’s hand. “Yeah, we are,” she said, her voice filled with awe. “Can you believe it?”
“No,” Paige admitted with a small laugh. “Six years ago, I didn’t think I’d be this lucky.”
Azzi’s grip tightened slightly. “Paige, you deserve this. You deserve everything.”
Paige’s heart swelled, and she closed her eyes, leaning her head against the wall. “You’re everything, Az. I can’t wait to see you walk down that aisle.”
“And I can’t wait to marry you,” Azzi whispered.
A moment of silence passed between them, filled only with the quiet sound of their breathing.
Finally, Azzi spoke again. “Okay, I have to go put my dress on now.”
Paige smiled, her head still resting against the wall. “I know you’re going to look so beautiful, Az.”
Azzi’s laugh was like a perfect melody in Paige’s ears. “I love you, P.”
“I love you, too,” Paige replied without hesitation, her voice soft and full of adoration.
Their hands parted reluctantly, and Paige went back to sit down, her chest lighter than it had been all day. She reached for a bottle of water, taking a long sip as a calmness settled over her.
…
Paige now stood outside the double doors, her heart pounding in her chest. She took a few deep breaths trying to steady herself.
Behind her, Jayden squirmed in Ice’s arms, reaching out toward his mom with a determined pout. His little hands stretched forward, and his soft curly hair bounded as he wriggled in Ice’s arms.
“Paige, he wants you,” Ice said with a grin, already moving to set the toddler down.
Paige bent down as his tiny feet touched the floor, her hands immediately going to straighten his miniature suit. “Hey, buddy,” she said softly, her voice instantly calm as she smoothed the lapels of his jacket.
Jayden beamed up at her, his blue eyes sparkling with excitement, “Mommy,” he said, his voice sweet and slightly wobbly
Paige smiled at him as she booped his nose with her finger. “Hey, little man. Look at you in your suit. You look so handsome. Mama’s gonna love it.”
Jayden grinned proudly, then pointed to the doors. “Mama ‘dere?” he asked, his small finger jabbing in the direction of where Azzi was going to be eventually.
Paige’s heart melted as she nodded. “Yeah, mama’s gonna be in there. But she’s not there yet, she’s waiting for us.”
Jayden tilted his head, his little brow furrowed in thought. “Why?” he asked, the single word clear amidst his toddler babble.
Paige chuckled softly, fixing the curls that had fallen over his forehead just the way Azzi liked it. “Because today’s a special day Jay. Mama and I are getting married.”
Jayden’s eyes widened with the kind of awe only a toddler could muster. “Mawwy?” he repeated, his tone high and curious.
Paige nodded, her smile growing. “Yeah, married. It means we’re gonna be a family forever. You, me, and Mama.”
Jayden clapped his hands together, clearly pleased with the idea. “Jayden, too?” he asked, his words slightly jumbled but unmistakable.
“Of course, Jayden, too,” Paige said, leaning forward to kiss his forehead. “You’re the most important part of this family, you know that?”
Jayden giggled, his small hands reaching up to pat Paige’s cheeks. “Love you, Mommy,” he said suddenly, his little voice bursting with affection.
Paige felt her throat tighten as she pulled him into a quick hug. “I love you, too, Jay. So much.”
From behind her, Ice cleared her throat. “Alright, ma’am, time to stand up. You’ve got a wedding to get to.”
Paige laughed, releasing Jayden reluctantly. She straightened up, brushing off her suit and taking another deep breath. Looking down at Jayden, she gave him a reassuring smile. “You ready?”
Jayden nodded eagerly, excited to see his mama finally.
With one last deep breath, Paige straightened her shoulders, feeling calmer than she had moments ago.
…
Paige stood at the end of the aisle, her hands nervously crossed in front of her as she waited for Azzi. The soft murmur of the audience faded into the background, and all she could feel was the weight of the moment. On her side of the aisle stood Nika, Ice, KK, and Drew, each of them smiling at her with proud, knowing looks. On Azzi’s side were Caroline, Jon, Jose, and Jana, equally as proud, their faces radiating warmth as they stood together, waiting for the ceremony to begin. Each of them wore the same light magenta in their respective styles, the magenta represented the union of their lives, the perfect balance between purple and pink, of Paige and Azzi.
The guests in the audience were a mix of family, friends, and basketball royalty, each one a piece of Paige and Azzi’s shared journey. Paige could see familiar faces scattered throughout the crowd: their families, their old UConn teammates, UConn alumni, some of their WNBA teammates–old and new–even some players they had never played with but had grown close to, all of these people supported Paige and Azzi through different phases of their careers and their relationship. The room was a true reflection of their journey. The air felt heavy with history and yet it was brimming with hope for the future.
All of a sudden the orchestra began to play, its soft melodies filling the air and soothing the nervous tension in the room. At the front of the aisle, Paige couldn’t help but smile as she saw the first person of the day making his way down the aisle. With his little legs, he moved slowly, but with an adorable determination. He was wearing a little suit that mirrored his uncles, and he was holding his aunt Lauren’s hand. Every now and then, Lauren would hand him a few flowers to toss down the aisle which he thoroughly enjoyed. The crowd cooed at the two-year-old as he made his way toward the front, taking in all the attention with the charm that Paige swore he got from her.
Jay was their perfect miracle. Paige and Azzi had adopted him as soon as both of their rookie contracts were up, and they were finally able to play for the same team in Washington. It had been nothing short of hitting the adoption lottery. With his blue eyes and blonde hair, he looked like a perfect blend of both his moms somehow. His blonde hair was curly like Azzi’s, and his dimples were almost an exact replica of her’s. As he threw flowers along the aisle, occasionally getting distracted by familiar faces in the crowd, Paige couldn’t help but beam with pride.
When Jayden reached the end of the aisle, he attempted to walk toward Paige, his arms reaching out to his mommy. But before he could take another step, Lauren scooped him up, and his pout deepened. The crowd couldn’t help but chuckle at the little boy’s dramatic expression as he was whisked away. Despite the momentary disappointment, he was soon settled in the arms of his grandmother, Katie, who had been eagerly waiting to hold him.
Paige smiled at the adorable scene. Jayden was just like his moms in every way. And Paige felt her heart swell as she watched him interact with the family, knowing this day, this moment, was just the beginning of their future together.
The laughter from the wedding party gradually faded, settling into a peaceful silence that seemed to hold its breath in anticipation. The music, once soft and light, swelled into a more solemn, heartfelt melody. It was time for Azzi to walk down the aisle. As the first few notes of the song filled the air, the entire audience stood in unison, their eyes instinctively shifting toward the doors.
Paige’s heart was pounding in her chest, each beat echoing in her ears as she fought to steady her breath. This is it, she thought, her palms damp against the fabric of her pants. Her heart swelled with love, nervous excitement, and a deep, overwhelming joy. She glanced at her family and friends—Nika, Ice, KK, Drew—all standing at her side. Her gaze then flicked to the guests filling the rows, each face radiating love and warmth, all of them there to witness this monumental moment. Azzi is about to walk toward me. The love of my life is about to walk towards me.
Then the doors opened.
Azzi’s presence filled the room like a wave, drawing every eye, yet somehow the world seemed to narrow. There she was—walking slowly towards Paige, glowing with a quiet confidence, her every step in perfect harmony with the music. The lighting caught her white dress just right, casting a soft, ethereal glow around her. She looked like something out of a dream—angelic, breathtaking.
Paige’s breath hitched, and her heart raced faster as her eyes locked with Azzi’s. Her legs almost gave way beneath her and Drew patted her shoulder chuckling slightly, but she stood tall, transfixed by the sight of the woman she loved. The woman she had waited for. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision, but all she could see was Azzi, walking toward her as if the world had led them here, to this moment.
At the same time Azzi’s thoughts swirled as she took each step. This moment is everything I’ve dreamed of. Fuck she looks so good. My heart beats for her. It always has, always will. Her pulse raced as she scanned Paige’s face. I’ve fought for this love, for her. I’ve seen everything we’ve been through, and it’s been worth it. Every moment, every struggle—this is the culmination of all of it.
Her eyes were locked on Paige as if nothing else existed in the world. There was so much emotion swirling within her—gratitude, awe, love—but most of all, there was a profound peace. This is where I belong. Right here, with her.
As she walked closer, she couldn’t help but smile at Paige’s teary eyes, her heart swelling at the way she was looking at her. She’s everything to me. How did I get so lucky? Her legs felt like they were moving on their own, carried by the sheer force of the love between them.
When Azzi finally reached the altar, Paige’s hands, which had been tightly clasped in front of her, suddenly felt empty. She reached out instinctively, her fingers trembling as she tried to follow through with the practiced firm handshake she was supposed to give Tim. But before she could, Tim pulled her into a tight, heartfelt hug. It was unexpected, but so full of meaning—so full of everything he felt about the woman who was about to marry his daughter. Paige’s arms wrapped around him as she smiled through her tears. She had grown so close to him, and in that moment, it felt like all their shared memories—good and bad—were coming together.
Azzi’s eyes softened as she watched the embrace, her chest tightening with emotion. Her lips curled into a soft smile as she finally took her place beside Paige, her hand sliding into Paige’s like it was meant to be there all along.
Paige helped Azzi settle in front of her, taking Azzi’s hand in hers, feeling the familiar warmth that had comforted her for so long. Azzi handed her flowers to Caroline, a fleeting moment of lightness before their attention fully turned to each other.
They stood there, face to face at last. The weight of the moment settled in their hearts, and the world seemed to slow. As their eyes locked for a few precious seconds, it was as if the room had disappeared. Everything faded away except for the two of them, standing together, ready to begin the rest of their lives.
Azzi’s voice, soft but clear, broke the silence, carrying a tenderness that only Paige could feel. She whispered, so only Paige could hear, but it felt as if the entire room was listening. “You look beautiful P.” Her fingers gently brushed a tear from Paige’s cheek, her touch as delicate as the moment itself.
Paige’s heart swelled, and she blinked away more tears as she whispered back, her voice slightly trembling, “You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, baby.” She swallowed hard, trying to steady herself, but the emotion in her chest was overwhelming.
Before the intimacy of the moment could envelop them entirely, Jayden’s voice rang out from the audience. His little voice echoed with excitement as he saw Azzi standing in front of Paige. “Mama!” he shouted, his chubby little arms reaching for her. He was so happy to see his mother, and his pure joy filled the room, drawing smiles from every corner.
Azzi’s heart fluttered at the sound of his voice, and she winked at him, her eyes softening with affection. Jayden, always a mama’s boy, blushed furiously at the attention from Azzi and immediately hid his face in Katie’s neck. The crowd couldn’t help but laugh, touched by his shyness and his love for his mom.
Paige and Azzi exchanged a glance, their faces breaking into smiles at their son’s antics. They shared a quiet laugh, the kind that only they could understand, before turning back to each other. Their love for Jayden, for each other, was tangible in the air around them—an unspoken bond that only deepened as the moment passed.
The ceremony continued, but the two of them were lost in the love they shared, the life they had built, and the promise of all the moments yet to come.
Paige hadn’t really heard a word CD had said as she officiated the wedding. All Paige could do was stare at Azzi in awe, her heart swelling in her chest. In that moment, everything around her faded—the audience, CD’s voice, the sound of the light music—all she could see was Azzi, standing there before her. Azzi, the woman who had become everything to her. Even after all these years, Paige still looked at her the way she did the first time she realized she loved her—like she was the most beautiful thing on this earth, like she would do anything, give everything, to the girl standing in front of her.
It was now time for the vows, and Paige took a deep breath, steadying herself as her heart raced in her chest. Her voice wavered as she began, but the words came from the deepest place inside her, raw and honest. There were no rehearsed lines, no prepared speeches. She didn’t need them to tell Azzi how much she loved her, how much she meant to her.
“Azzi,” Paige began, her voice trembling slightly, “To put it simply you’re everything to me baby. I didn’t realize it at first, but... when you got to UConn that summer, I thought I was just being a leader, you know doing my job—helping the new girl get comfortable and fit in. But you weren’t like anyone I had ever met.”
Paige paused, her eyes locked with Azzi’s, the love in her gaze unmistakable. “You were this constant, steady presence. And without even trying, you made me trust you more than I’ve ever trusted anyone in my entire life. You had this way of getting under my skin and somehow, you did it without me even realizing what was happening. You became someone I couldn’t imagine life without before I even realized it.”
Paige’s eyes softened, remembering a moment that had changed everything. “And then... you made me watch Frozen for the first time. The movie had been out for like... eleven years at that point, and I’d never seen it because, honestly, who would want to waste time watching a Disney cartoon? I needed to be in the gym. But there you were, trying to put it on because it was your turn to pick the movie, and I looked at you like you were insane.” Paige chuckled softly at the memory, the love in her eyes only growing. “But then... you gave me this look. We were on my bed sitting too close to be just friends, and for the first time, I really saw you. Your eyes. God, your eyes. My breath caught in my throat, and I think that’s when I first really noticed how breathtaking you were.”
Paige’s voice softened as she spoke of that pivotal moment. “Your dimples, your smile, your laugh—everything about you. That was the moment I think I knew. I didn’t admit it to myself then, but something clicked that day. And before I knew it, you had me watching Frozen every week.”
A bittersweet smile crossed Paige’s face. “And then, we fought. God, we fought, and we hurt each other in ways I didn’t think were possible. But even then... even when we weren’t speaking, even when I thought you’d broken my heart and left me, I couldn’t stop thinking about you. I’d wonder if you’d eaten, how you were feeling, if you were getting enough sleep, if you were icing your knee or taking care of yourself. I couldn’t stop caring even when I wanted to.”
Paige’s voice faltered for a moment as she fought to control the tears threatening to fall. She looked at Azzi, who stood before her, looking at Paige with such intensity that it made her heart ache. “You’re so beautiful, Azzi,” Paige whispered, her words faltering slightly as she lost herself in the depth of Azzi’s gaze.
But she didn’t stop there. “But it’s not just the way you look... You’re so smart, so much smarter than you give yourself credit for. And you’re so damn stubborn. You fight me tooth and nail for what you believe in, even if it’s something as small as what Jay’s going to wear that day. And I love that about you. You make me feel safe, but you also push me to be better. You call me out when I’m being an idiot, but you do it with so much love. I’ve never met anyone who made me feel like I’m enough just as I am. You taught me that I don’t need to be perfect all the time. That I don’t always need to be in control.”
Paige’s voice cracked a little as she continued. “You’re my balance, Azzi. When I’m all over the place, loud, and impulsive, you ground me. You’re patient when I’m not, calm when I’m chaotic. And somehow, you push me to be better, to be a better version of myself for you and Jay, every single day, without ever making me feel like I have to change who I am.”
Tears brimmed in Paige’s eyes, and she took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. “Baby, you’re not just someone I love. You’re my home. My heart. And I thank God every single day that he brought you to me the way he did.”
The room fell silent, and as Paige finished her vows, the emotion in the air was almost tangible. Her eyes never left Azzi’s, and both women had tears glistening in their eyes. The guests, who knew Paige as the composed, often reserved leader, were stunned. This side of her—this vulnerability, this raw, open love—was something most of them had never seen. This moment, though, was different. It was soft, delicate, and full of so much meaning. It was the clearest, most heartfelt expression of Paige’s love for Azzi.
Azzi, her heart swelling with emotion, fought to hold back the tears. She looked at Paige, struggling to find her words. After a long pause, she laughed softly, a slight chuckle escaping her lips despite the tears pooling in her eyes. “I have no idea how I’m going to follow that,” she said, her voice thick with emotion, the crowd chuckling lightly at her attempt to regain composure.
Azzi’s laugh broke the tension, and for a brief moment, it felt like everything had slowed down, as though time itself had stopped to allow them this perfect, unspoken connection.
Azzi takes a deep breath, still a little shaky from the weight of Paige's vows. "Okay," she starts, her voice soft but steady. "First of all, Paige, you're so incredibly annoying."
The crowd chuckles, and Paige rolls her eyes playfully, her smile wide. Azzi glances at her, her teasing grin softening. "But you also have the purest soul I've ever seen. You're selfless, generous, forgiving, and so incredibly caring. And every single day, I hope we’re able to raise a son who has even a fraction of those qualities."
Azzi pauses, her eyes flickering with emotion. "The night you walked into our suite when I moved in... I knew I was done for," she admits, drawing laughter from the audience. "You had this confidence, this charm, this energy that just pulled me in immediately. And, honestly, it almost got me in trouble a few times. Because I had these thoughts and all these feelings I wasn’t supposed to have for my best friend, for my teammate—especially my teammate who had a bit of a reputation."
The room erupts in laughter, and Paige mock-glares at Azzi, who shrugs innocently before continuing. "But the more I got to know you—not Paige Bueckers, the golden girl, but just Paige—the more that attraction turned into something I couldn't even put into words. I saw a side of you that no one else did. You weren’t just cocky and larger-than-life; you were thoughtful, attentive, and so incredibly soft. You showed me sides of yourself that I don’t think anyone else got to see. And those parts of you—they were the ones I fell in love with."
Azzi’s voice trembles slightly as she goes on. "With everyone else, you were carefree, like nothing could touch you. But with me, you let me see your heart. You were vulnerable in a way I know wasn’t easy for you. You trusted me with your fears, your insecurities, the things you tried so hard to keep hidden from the world. And that trust? It means more to me than I could ever say."
Azzi glances at Paige, her expression softening even further. "You made me believe in a kind of love I didn’t think was possible. The kind they write about in poems and movies. The kind of love that doesn't just show up—it stays, no matter what. You never stopped dating me, even after we were together. You used to bring me flowers every week—every single week—and when you couldn’t be there to give them to me in person, you had them shipped to my door. You made sure I never doubted how much I meant to you."
The audience murmurs softly, some wiping away tears, as Azzi’s voice grows steadier. "And it wasn’t just the big gestures. It was the way you made me laugh when I didn’t think I could. The way you remembered every little thing about me, like how I hate the dark but love the gloominess of rain. You made me feel seen in a way I didn’t even know I needed. You loved me in ways I didn’t know were possible."
Azzi pauses to collect herself, a few tears slipping down her cheeks. She lets out a watery laugh. "And somehow, through all of that, you still kept surprising me. You never stopped pushing me to be better, to dream bigger. You believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and you stood by me every step of the way. You were my biggest supporter, my safe space, my everything."
Her voice softens even more, and she looks directly at Paige, her gaze unwavering. "You’re not just someone I love, Paige. You’re my best friend, my soulmate, my home. And I thank God every day that he brought you into my life. Because with you, I have everything I could ever need."
By the time Azzi finishes, slow tears are streaming down Paige’s face, her lips trembling as she tries to smile. Azzi steps closer, her thumb brushing the tears from Paige’s cheeks.
In the quiet room, their son Jayden’s sweet little voice pipes up again, breaking the silence. "Mama, Mommy crying!"
The crowd laughs warmly, and Paige lets out a watery laugh of her own, "Yeah, buddy. Happy tears."
After their vows, CD steps forward with a warm smile, gently pulling everyone’s attention back to the ceremony. "Alright," she says, her voice calm yet celebratory. "Now, if you’ll both repeat after me, we’ll make this official."
Azzi and Paige exchange a brief glance, their hands still joined, both visibly brimming with anticipation. They go through the official readings, their voices steady yet filled with emotion, each word cementing their commitment to one another.
When it’s time for the rings, CD turns to Azzi first. "Azzi, do you take Paige to be your wife, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?"
Azzi doesn’t hesitate. She nods, her voice clear and sure. "I do."
Taking the wedding band, she gently slides it onto Paige’s left ring finger, her touch lingering as she finishes. Her eyes meet Paige’s, filled with love and certainty.
CD then turns to Paige. "Paige, do you take Azzi to be your wife, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?"
Paige’s breath catches for a moment, her lips curving into a smile as she says, "I do." Her hand shakes slightly as she picks up the ring, her fingers brushing Azzi’s as she slides it onto her left ring finger. Her voice softens, barely audible except to Azzi. "Forever."
CD looks at them both, her own smile growing as she says, "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you married. You may kiss your wife."
Before Azzi can fully process the words, Paige is already moving, pulling Azzi toward her. Their lips meet in a deep, heartfelt kiss, a culmination of everything they’ve been through and everything they’ve been waiting for. Both of them sigh into the kiss, their arms wrapping around each other as the world melts away.
The crowd erupts into cheers and applause, their families and friends celebrating the long-awaited union. But for Paige and Azzi, in that moment, nothing else matters but the person in their arms—their forever.
As they pull back from the kiss, a ripple of laughter runs through the crowd, drawing Paige and Azzi’s attention to a small commotion near the aisle. Jayden, who had somehow managed to wiggle free from Katie’s grasp, was clumsily making his way up the altar, his tiny legs moving with determined speed.
"Jayden!" Katie whispered out, trying to catch him, but he was already halfway there, his little face beaming with excitement at his mothers.
Paige chuckled, bending down to meet him as he reached the top. "Hey, buddy, what are you doing up here?" she asked, scooping him up effortlessly. But as soon as he was in her arms, Jayden leaned forward, his small hands reaching for Azzi.
"Mamma!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with pure joy.
Azzi laughed softly, stepping closer to take him from Paige’s hands. "You just couldn’t wait, could you?" she murmured, cradling him easily.
Jayden nestled into Azzi’s arms, his tiny fingers brushing her face as he babbled happily, completely oblivious to the significance of the moment. Paige leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Jayden’s temple, her heart full as she took in the sight of their little family.
Together, the three of them turned to face their guests, who were still applauding and cheering. Paige reached for Azzi’s free hand, lacing their fingers together, while Jayden waved excitedly at the crowd, basking in the attention he thought he was getting.
As they began their exit, walking down the aisle as a newly married couple, Jayden’s laughter filled the air, a perfect counterpoint to the joyous celebration around them. The three of them moved in sync, a seamless unit, their love evident to everyone watching.
As they reached the dressing room, Azzi gently shifted Jayden in her arms before setting him down on the carpeted floor. "Alright, Jay," she said with a grin, ruffling his hair. "Go burn off some of that energy while Mommy and I get ready."
He didn’t need any more encouragement. He immediately toddled over to the vanity table, his tiny hands reaching for a brush and a bottle of lotion, his curiosity piqued at their shapes.
Azzi shook her head with a soft laugh. "He's always into something," she said, turning toward Paige, who was already stepping closer.
"Let him," Paige murmured, her voice low as she reached for Azzi's hands, pulling her gently toward her. Without hesitation, Paige leaned in, her lips capturing Azzi's in a slow, deliberate kiss. Her hands slid up Azzi's arms, pulling her closer as her body pressed against hers.
Azzi exhaled softly, her resolve melting as she got lost in the kiss, her hands instinctively resting on Paige’s neck. For a moment, everything else disappeared—their surroundings, the noise from outside the dressing room, even Jayden’s little voice humming in the background. It was just them, tangled in each other, the weight of the day momentarily forgotten.
But then, a soft clattering noise from Jayden’s direction pulled Azzi back to reality. She broke the kiss reluctantly, her forehead pressing against Paige's as she laughed breathlessly. "Paige," she whispered, her voice filled with a mix of amusement and warning, "We can’t. Jay’s right there, baby."
Paige grinned, her lips brushing against Azzi’s again in a teasing peck. "He’s busy," she said, her tone playful.
Azzi shook her head, stepping back slightly but not releasing Paige’s hands. "I know, but if he turns around and sees anything, we’re going to have to explain why Mommy and Mama are glued together."
Paige smirked, her thumb brushing over the back of Azzi's hand. "Fair point," she conceded with a soft laugh, stealing one last quick kiss before stepping back.
They both turned toward Jay, who was now intensely focused on trying to twist the cap off the lotion bottle now. Azzi crossed her arms, shaking her head. "We should probably intervene before he figures out how to make a mess."
Paige chuckled, walking over to scoop Jayden up in one swift motion. "Come here, troublemaker," she said, peppering his cheek with kisses as he giggled and squirmed in her arms.
Azzi watched them with a smile, her heart full as she took in the sight of her wife and son. "Alright," she said, grabbing the garment bag hanging on the nearby chair. "Let’s get ready for the reception before mister here decides to redecorate the room."
With laughter and lighthearted teasing, the three of them prepared for the next part of their perfect day.
…
The reception was in full swing, a joyful whirlwind of music, dancing, and heartfelt laughter. Azzi and Paige had been glued to each other all evening, their newlywed glow impossible to miss. Jayden had been whisked away earlier by Geno, who proclaimed his role as babysitter with such conviction that even Katie and Tim had no choice but to relent, laughing as they handed over the toddler and his overnight bag.
As the night progressed, Paige’s affection toward Azzi grew bolder, fueled by a steady stream of drinks courtesy of Jon, Jose, and Drew, who had made it their personal mission to keep her glass perpetually full for whatever reason.
Earlier in the evening, as they moved through the crowd, Azzi mingled effortlessly, stopping every so often to chat with family and friends. Paige, however, was focused entirely on her wife, trailing close behind and using every opportunity to whisper suggestive comments into Azzi’s ear.
“Baby, do you realize how good you look tonight?” Paige murmured as they paused near the bar. Her lips brushed against Azzi’s ear, sending a shiver down her spine.
Azzi tried to keep her composure, offering polite smiles to those around them. “Thank you, love. So do you.”
“Hmm, you think so?” Paige teased, her hand resting on the small of Azzi’s back. She leaned closer, her voice dropping to a sultry whisper. “Because I think this dress is unfair. Do you know how hard it is to keep my hands to myself when you look this good?”
Azzi blushed, shooting her a look. “Paige, behave. We’re not alone.”
Paige grinned, unbothered by the warning. “Doesn’t matter. I’m your wife now. Pretty sure that gives me the right to tell you exactly how much I want to peel this dress off you later.”
Azzi’s cheeks burned as she bit back a laugh, shaking her head. “You’re insane.”
“And you’re irresistible,” Paige countered smoothly, her lips brushing against Azzi’s neck just enough to make her catch her breath before lightly smacking Paige’s stomach.
By the time they made it back around to the table, Paige’s teasing had reached new heights. They sat among a group of their old UConn teammates—Nika, KK, Ice, Aubrey, Caroline, Jana, Sarah, and Morgan—all of whom were thoroughly entertained by Paige’s antics.
Azzi was trying her best to engage in the lively conversation about their time in college, but Paige was making it nearly impossible. She kissed Azzi’s arm, then her shoulder, her lips trailing up to her neck as Azzi squirmed slightly in her seat.
"Paige, baby," Azzi whispered softly, attempting to pull back.
"Shh," Paige murmured, brushing her lips against Azzi’s ear. "Just let me kiss you. I’ve been waiting all day for this."
"She’s been waiting all day, Azzi," Nika quipped, laughing as she caught sight of Paige’s antics. "Let the girl have her moment."
Azzi shot her a playful glare. "You’re not helping."
"She’s a lover, what can we say?" KK added with a smirk.
"I can’t help it," Paige declared dramatically, wrapping an arm around Azzi’s waist. "Have you seen her tonight? She’s perfect."
“Okay, Paige, we get it,” Ice teased, raising her glass. “You’re married now. You won.”
"Exactly," Paige said, her voice dropping as she leaned closer to Azzi again. Her hand slid to Azzi’s thigh under the table, her lips brushing against her ear. "And later, when we’re alone, I promise I’m going to show you just how much I love you."
Azzi’s breath hitched, and she gently pushed Paige’s hand away. "Paige," she murmured, her voice firm but affectionate. "Not here baby."
Paige pouted, but the glint in her eye remained mischievous. "You’re no fun," she teased, resting her head on Azzi’s shoulder as the table erupted in laughter.
"You would think after all these years Paige wouldn’t still be this horny," Jana remarked, grinning from ear to ear.
Azzi laughed, her shoulders shaking as she responded, "I knew I was never going to get a break from day one, but I’ve learned to accept it," she added, looking at Paige.
"She’s going to tear into you," Aubrey said, shaking her head with a grin.
"You don’t say," Azzi replied dryly, though the fondness in her tone was unmistakable.
As the conversation continued, Paige remained firmly attached to Azzi, her lips brushing against her neck and cheek whenever she thought no one was looking. Azzi did her best to stay composed, but her teammates saw through it, exchanging amused glances.
"Azzi," Caroline teased, raising an eyebrow. "How are you even still upright right now?"
Azzi laughed, giving Paige’s hand a light squeeze. "It’s not easy, trust me," she replied, her gaze softening as she looked at her wife.
Paige grinned, pressing another kiss to Azzi’s cheek. "Good thing you’re strong, then," she murmured, her voice low enough that only Azzi could hear.
"Good thing I love you," Azzi replied, shaking her head as Paige beamed at her, utterly unapologetic.
…
The two of them had drifted away from the group trying to get a moment alone amidst all the chaos. They were now tucked into a quieter corner table, the low lighting casting a warm glow over their entwined figures. Paige was still draped over Azzi, her lips brushing against her neck and collarbone as her hand rested possessively on Azzi’s thigh. By now, Azzi, having indulged in her fair share of drinks, was no longer holding back. She leaned fully into Paige’s affection, a soft, pleased smile tugging at her lips.
Azzi leaned into Paige’s touch, her breath quickening as Paige’s fingers gently tugged at the fabric of her dress. She let out a soft, pleased hum, feeling the heat between her legs intensify. Her hand found its way into Paige’s hair, gently pulling her closer, encouraging her to kiss the sensitive spot just beneath her ear.
“You’re killing me, you know that?” Azzi whispered, her voice thick with desire as she tilted her head, giving Paige more access.
Paige’s lips brushed over Azzi’s skin, her voice low and urgent. “I can’t stop,” she murmured, fingers lightly tugging at the fabric of Azzi’s dress again, her touch sending sparks through Azzi’s body. “You feel so good, just like this.”
Azzi’s breath caught, and she leaned in, her lips brushing against Paige’s ear. “You make me feel good, too,” she purred, the warmth of her breath sending a shiver down Paige’s spine.
Paige’s eyes darkened, the intensity of her gaze never leaving Azzi’s. Her fingers moved higher on Azzi’s thigh, inching dangerously close to where they both wanted her touch the most. “You’re so perfect,” Paige whispered, her lips grazing the side of Azzi’s neck again, her words dripping with want. “I can’t wait to feel all of you in my hand.”
Azzi’s body responded immediately, her chest rising and falling with shallow breaths as she bit her lip, fighting the urge to close the space between them completely with them still being in public. “You’ve been teasing me all night,” she murmured, her voice coming out breathlessly as she met Paige’s eyes. “I don’t know how much longer I can stand it.”
Paige’s lips found Azzi’s neck again, this time lingering there, pressing slow kisses along the skin. Her fingers traced the hem of Azzi’s dress, slipping under it just slightly as she tugged the fabric again, a subtle but clear request for more.
Azzi let out a low moan, her hand gripping Paige’s shoulder as she gave in to the temptation. “Paige...” she whispered, her voice rough with desire. “I can’t wait, baby. I want you. Right now.”
Paige’s breath hitched at the sound of Azzi’s words, the intensity of her longing for her wife growing. “God, Azzi,” she murmured, her lips brushing against her wife’s ear again, voice thick with need. “You have no idea what I wanna do to you.”
Azzi purred softly, her fingers now threading through Paige’s hair, tugging her face closer, her lips meeting Paige’s in a desperate, desperate kiss. “I think I do,” she whispered between kisses. “And I love every second of imagining it.”
Paige responded with a hum of satisfaction, her hand sliding higher on Azzi’s thigh, pulling her even closer. Their bodies moved against each other, the urgency of their desire palpable in their kiss. Neither of them could get enough.
But just as their kiss deepened, the air around them changed with a loud laugh echoing from the main reception area, shattering their intimate bubble. The sound cut through the haze of desire, pulling their attention back to reality.
Azzi broke the kiss, her eyes flicking to Paige, a mischievous smile tugging at her lips. “Guess we’re not alone after all,” she murmured, reluctantly pulling back just enough to meet Paige’s gaze.
Paige let out a frustrated sigh, her fingers still tracing the curve of Azzi’s thigh. “Too bad,” she said, her voice low and husky, though there was a playful spark in her eyes. “I was just starting to enjoy myself.”
Azzi chuckled softly, resting her forehead against Paige’s for a brief moment before pulling back to glance toward the reception. “Me too,” she agreed, though the fire in her eyes remained undiminished.
Both women groaned softly, reluctant to return to the party. Paige rested her forehead against Azzi’s again for a moment, her voice quiet but firm. “This isn’t over,” she murmured, her lips brushing against Azzi’s.
Azzi smirked, her thumb brushing over Paige’s cheek. “It better not be,” she whispered, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.
Their stolen moment left them both buzzing, hearts racing as they turned their attention back to the lively reception, counting down the moments until they could finally be alone.
…
When they finally reached their hotel room, the door had barely clicked shut before Paige spun Azzi around and pressed her firmly against it. The force of the move drew a startled gasp from Azzi, her back hitting the wood as Paige’s long fingers wrapped possessively around her throat.
Their lips immediately collided in a messy, passionate kiss, all restraint from earlier completely gone now. Paige’s movements were uncoordinated but intense, her need for Azzi clear as their tongues tangled. Azzi moaned into her mouth, her hands gripping Paige’s shoulders for balance, completely lost in the moment.
Paige didn’t waste a second. Her knee slid between Azzi’s legs, pressing up just enough to draw a sharp inhale from her wife. Azzi panted against Paige’s lips, her head tipping back slightly as Paige broke the kiss and began trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses down her neck.
“You look so good like this ma,” Paige whispered against Azzi’s skin, her voice a mix of slur and desire. Her teeth grazed Azzi’s collarbone before her lips followed, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. “Do you know how long I’ve been thinking about this? About making you mine like this?”
Azzi shuddered, her hands clutching the fabric of Paige’s shirt as she let out a soft laugh, her voice shaky but teasing. “You’re acting like you haven’t already had me a million times,” she murmured, her words broken by a gasp as Paige’s knee pressed harder against her.
Paige smirked against her neck, her grip on Azzi’s throat tightening ever so slightly. “Not like this baby,” she murmured, her voice thick with intent. “This is different. You’re my wife now. Forever mine.”
Paige’s words hung in the air, thick with promise, but before she could fully process the weight of them, Azzi’s hands were on her shoulders, pulling her in for another kiss. This one was frantic, desperate—a reflection of both their needs, the alcohol still thick on their breaths as they kissed wildly. Their lips barely met before they pulled away, only to crash together again. The kiss was messy, unrefined, but that was the point—it was as if neither of them could get close enough, couldn’t have enough of the other after today.
Azzi’s fingers tightened in Paige’s hair as she broke the kiss, panting against her lips. “You’re mine too, Paige,” Azzi breathed out, voice ragged. “Forever.”
Paige’s heart raced at the sound of Azzi’s declaration, but Azzi wasn’t done. She pushed gently against Paige’s shoulders, urging her to kneel before her. Paige didn’t hesitate, following the command without question. She sank to her knees in front of Azzi, eyes dark with desire as she looked up at her wife.
Azzi took a small step back, then looked down at Paige, her own eyes dark and needy. Without missing a beat, she ran her fingers through Paige’s hair, guiding her forward. Paige’s lips trailed up Azzi’s legs, leaving kisses as she went, the sensation sending tremors through Azzi’s body.
Azzi’s breath hitched with every kiss. “God, Paige,” she gasped, her voice shaky as Paige’s lips pressed against her thighs as she pushed her dress up, leaving marks in their wake. Each kiss made her more vocal, unable to hold back the sounds of pleasure bubbling up from deep within her. Her fingers tightened in Paige’s hair as she pulled her closer, desperate for more.
Paige’s lips moved higher, leaving teasing kisses up the inside of Azzi’s thigh. “Imma make you feel so good baby,” Paige muttered against her skin, the words almost reverent. She wasn’t just speaking, she was showing it—the pressure of her lips and hands as she kissed Azzi’s thinly covered center, fueling the desire that had been building since the moment they stepped into the room.
Azzi’s body shivered with each kiss. “Fuck, Paige,” she breathed, her voice raw. She ran her fingers through Paige’s hair, pulling impossibly closer to her as she looked down at her wife. “You don’t even know how much I need you right now.”
Paige responded with a low groan as she pushed her underwear to the side, her lips and tongue brushing against Azzi, this time slower, more deliberate, as she gazed up at her wife through her hooded blue eyes. “Nah baby I can tell. You taste so good for me.”
Azzi’s breath catches in her throat, her chest rising and falling with each labored inhale. She runs her fingers through Paige’s hair, tugging her closer, as if desperate for more. “You make it so hard to think, Paige…” Azzi whispers, her voice shaky. “Every time you look at me like that, I forget everything. I forget who I am.”
Paige smiles, as she continues her work as Azzi grinds her hips into Paige trying to create more friction despite Paige lapping at her like she hadn’t had Azzi in years. “Baby, fuck, you feel so good” Azzi whimpers. Paige simply hums at this as she drapes Azzi’s leg over her shoulder to drive her tongue in deeper.
Azzi throws her head back against the door, gripping Paige’s head and anything else she can to steady herself. With her voice low and breathy and tinged with awe she says, “Mmm I knew you’d be like this tonight–Fuck baby don’t stop–I love it when you fuck me like this baby. Feels so good.”
Azzi’s words spur Paige on more as she continues her work expertly, knowing exactly what Azzi likes after all these years. The pressure of Paige’s tongue makes Azzi’s breath catch, her eyes fluttering closed as she becomes overwhelmed with the feeling but she leans into it, pushing her hips towards Paige as the tension coils tighter in her stomach.
Azzi is basically riding Paige’s face as Paige looks up at her mumbling, “You gonna come for me baby?”
She makes the mistake of looking down at Paige whose mouth is wet and her pupils are completely dilated. Azzi immediately throws her head back as she starts making pornographic sounds with her throat, “Mmm fuck Paige baby–No…no not yet baby. Fuck I don’t want it to end you’re doing so good.”
This only spurs Paige on more at her wife not wanting to come undone for her so she drives her tongue deeper as she works her thumb in circles. Azzi’s body trembles, her eyes now watching Paige despite every instinct inside her wanting her to look away. She’s fighting the pull of pleasure that wants her to come undone right at this moment even though she knows Paige doesn’t like that.
Azzi’s eyes are blurry now as she tries to keep herself under control for a few more seconds but Paige curls her tongue a certain way and Azzi finds releasing the tension in her stomach, “Yes…yes right there baby… don’t stop baby. Right there please. I’m ready to cum for you baby” Azzi gasps her body arching off of the door as she feels a wave of sensation crashing through her as her mouth falls open in pure bliss, her legs shaking as Paige holds her up.
Before Azzi can fully recover Paige is kissing up her body leaving open mouth kisses in Azzi’s favorite spots. Once she reaches her lips Paige immediately pulls Azzi in for a kiss, putting her tongue in her wifes mouth so she can taste herself causing Azzi to moan.
As their kiss deepens, Paige’s hands slide down Azzi’s body, one of them drifting behind her, fingers grazing her spine. And with a slight tug, she unzips Azzi’s dress, the sound of the zipper scraping against the fabric filling the air between them. Azzi moans into the kiss as the fabric loosens exposing her back to the air, before Paige pulls it down with ease, revealing the purple lingerie beneath. The sight makes Paige’s breath hitch, her eyes darkening further if possible as she gazes at her wife standing in front of her.
Azzi's hands press firmly against Paige’s chest, gently pushing her back toward the bed, her lips swollen and flushed, her breathing ragged. "Get on the bed for me, baby," Azzi demands in a voice thick with need, her hands already moving to the buttons of Paige’s shirt before she just pulls at the fabric with urgency, the buttons flying off in every direction, scattering across the floor.
Paige lets out a breathy laugh, the moment only spurring her desire. She stands still, letting Azzi remove the shirt, her skin now exposed except for the tight-fitting tank top she’s wearing underneath. Azzi runs her hands over Paige’s bare skin, her fingers grazing over her ribs, before locking eyes with her and dragging her hand down her torso. “You look so good, baby,” Azzi whispers, her voice low, full of hunger and admiration.
Paige smiles, her heart racing, as she climbs onto the bed, pulling Azzi along with her. Azzi follows, crawling up to her in the most seductive way as she moves with an almost hypnotic rhythm that makes Paige want to take her right there again and again. When Azzi finally straddles Paige, the sight is enough to send Paige’s heart into overdrive. Her breath catches as she whispers, "You have no idea what you do to me. Even after all these years.”
Azzi’s lips curled into a teasing smile, her confidence radiating as she leaned down to press her mouth against Paige’s neck. She moved slowly, her kisses deliberate and sensual, each one igniting a trail of shivers that coursed through Paige’s body. Azzi had perfected this art over time, each touch an unspoken testament to how well she knew Paige—every sensitive spot, every little weakness.
Her long hair tumbled to one side, the strands brushing against Paige’s skin and adding to the electric intimacy of the moment. Azzi kissed her way lower, unhurried, savoring the effect she was having as Paige’s breath quickened, her body instinctively arching into Azzi’s.
When Azzi’s hands found their way to Paige’s belt, her movements were smooth and practiced, each motion deliberate, carrying the weight of countless nights like this, where Azzi had mastered the balance of teasing and taking control. With a flick of her fingers, the belt came undone, her slow pace almost maddening, a silent assertion of her dominance in this moment which started as soon as she had Paige on her knees for her. Paige’s breath hitched, a sound that sent a satisfied smirk spreading across Azzi’s lips.
The way Azzi carried herself now, every kiss, every touch, was brimming with the ease of someone who knew exactly what she was doing. Their years together had transformed their intimacy into something deeper, richer—a choreography of passion honed by countless nights of exploration and learning each other’s bodies.
“Still with me, baby?” Azzi whispered against Paige’s skin, her voice velvet-soft but dripping with confidence, knowing full well that Paige was at her mercy.
Paige throws her head back in pleasure, her hands gripping the sheets. In that moment, she realizes how completely she’s fallen into Azzi’s orbit—how grateful she is that she crossed that line with her all those years ago. That night, when she had first given in to Azzi's pull, back when they were just friends, and how it changed everything between them. Now, after everything they’ve been through, after their wedding, this moment felt like the perfect culmination of everything they had built together. She’s never been this sure, this needy for someone in the way she is for Azzi..
“God, Azzi,” Paige breathes out, her voice raw with desire as she lifts her hips slightly, giving Azzi more access.
Azzi grins, pulling the belt free with a soft tug before gliding her hands under the waistband of Paige’s pants. The anticipation is almost unbearable, and yet, Azzi takes her time, savoring every second. “You’re my wife now,” Azzi murmurs, her voice low and full of intention, as her hands slowly inch the fabric down.
The words send a rush of heat through Paige, and for a split second, she’s left wondering how she ever lived without this intensity, this connection. The thought lingers, and she shivers in anticipation as Azzi finally pulls the pants down, exposing more of Paige’s skin.
Azzi runs her hands over Paige’s legs, feeling the warmth of her body, the soft curves beneath her fingertips. The contact is electric, and it’s almost too much for Paige to handle. "God Azzi, I don’t know how you make me feel like this," Paige manages to gasp, lifting her hips again, silently begging Azzi to take control, to take her.
Azzi pauses, her gaze locking with Paige’s, her eyes dark with desire. “Let me show you,” Azzi whispers, leaning down to kiss her again. But this time, it’s slower—deeper. Azzi’s lips trace the curve of Paige’s jaw, down her neck, stopping to leave a trail of heated kisses that make Paige’s pulse quicken.
Each kiss is a promise, each touch a question Azzi asks without words. Paige can’t help but respond, her hands reaching for Azzi’s bra, unclasping it free from her body, desperate to feel her bare skin against hers. The fabric falls to the floor, and Paige’s fingers wander to the skimpy waistband of Azzi’s underwear, mimicking the way Azzi had undressed her moments ago, eager to return the pleasure.
Azzi’s lips find their way to Paige’s ear, where she whispers, “You want me again, don’t you? Want me as much as I want you?”
Paige nods, her breathing ragged as she pulls Azzi closer, wrapping her legs around her waist. “More than anything,” she whispers back, her voice trembling with the intensity of the moment.
Azzi pulls back just enough to meet her eyes again, her gaze softening for a moment, a glimmer of affection mixed with the raw desire between them. “You have me, Paige. All of me…forever.” Then she kisses her deeply once more, taking the time to savor the connection between them, each kiss a declaration of everything they’ve built, everything they’re about to share.
The weight of everything settles in as Paige pulls Azzi close, the years of being apart, of growing their family together, and the joy of finally, fully being together. This moment is everything they’ve worked for, everything they’ve fought for. And as their hands trace each other’s bodies, as they continue to lose themselves in each other, Paige realizes that this is it—the final chapter. Their journey, their story, culminating here, in this moment of complete love and understanding. It’s not just the start of a new life together; it’s the closing of a long, beautiful journey.
As the kiss lingers between them, soft and filled with everything they’ve learned about each other, about love, the two of them finally fall into the peace that only being truly with each other can bring. There are no more games, no more uncertainties, just the two of them, completely and utterly intertwined in a love that has lasted years, and will continue forever.

Congrats on the followers id yet again like to throw in another request please?
growing up I had difficult with reading or learning to read in general. I was wondering if you could come up with a slight angsty and fluffy fic of tech trying to teach reader (fem) to read? Maybe he’s not patient, makes a very tech-like comment that reader overhears that upsets her which sucks because she really likes tech? ❤️ thank u ☺️
🌊 Reading Between the Lines
🫧 Pairings: Tech X Female Reader
🫧 word count: 6.1k

🫧 Plot: When Tech finds out you’re unable to read, he makes it his job to teach you. But after a comment to Echo, you think maybe he’s not the teacher for you.
🫧 Warnings: Safe for work, fluff and angst. Female reader, reader is unable to read. Tech makes accidental inconsiderate comments, comfort, play fighting, omega playing match maker, idiots in love trope, first kiss, reconciliation.
🫧: authors note: thank you @forbiddenwaves for this request and the kind words. Thanks for messaging me so we can work on this togther too. Enjoy 🤍

“Now, attempt the next word.”
You stared down at the datapad, the symbols swimming on the screen under the shadow of Tech’s tall frame. The sun beat down on your shoulders, and you bit the inside of your cheek, determined not to get this one wrong.
“Erm…”
“That is incorrect,” he stated before you could even finish.
Your brows furrowed. “I haven’t given you an answer yet,” you muttered, sharper than you intended. “It’s… con… cot…”
“Corellia,” Omega suddenly answered cheerfully from your other side as she bounds over.
You slumped with a groan, just as Tech gave a frustrated exhale.
“Omega,” he said, tone reproachful, “if you provide the answer, she will not learn.”
Omega winced, looking between the two of you with a sheepish shrug. “Sorry,” she said, eyes softening as they met yours.
“It’s alright,” you sighed in defeat. “I think I’m done for today. Besides, we’ve got to help the locals soon. That is why we’re on this rock after all.”
Tech folded his arms across his chest, expression unreadable behind his goggles. “We’ve scarcely covered anything of substance.”
“It’s been almost two hours,” you pointed out, rising from the crate you’d been sitting on, legs stiff. You turned to face him, half your features obscured by the harsh sunlight. “I need a break.”
He didn’t argue, but the way he took the datapad back from your hands with just a bit too much stiffness told you he wasn’t thrilled. “Very well. We’ll resume this evening.” Then, turning to Omega: “And I would appreciate no further interruptions.”
She nodded silently.
As Tech strode toward the ship’s gangplank, Omega reached for your hand, giving it a small, reassuring squeeze. “Hey, you got the first two letters right. That’s progress!”
From halfway up the ramp, Tech’s voice floated back over his shoulder. “Technically, it is not. Especially considering we’ve made no discernible advancement in two full rotations. And the fact that we just returned from a mission on Corellia should have made that word obvious.”
Then he disappeared into the ship.
You didn’t say anything. You couldn’t. Not unless you wanted to cry out of embarrassment.
Tech didn’t mean to be cruel because that isn’t in his nature. But he didn’t realise how much weight his words carried and how easily they upset you.
Omega was still watching you, lips pressed into a tight, worried line. “You’ll get there,” she said gently. “It takes time, that’s all.”
You exhaled slowly, wiping the back of your neck, now sticky with sweat and heat. “Maybe. But right now… it’s not looking great.”
It had been Tech’s idea to take on the responsibility of teaching you like it was a personal mission ever since the squad had learned that reading Basic wasn’t just a struggle for you, but a near impossibility.
Though, Wrecker and Echo did tell you that they were impressed since it never hindered any mission and they never noticed it being an issue for you.
At first, you were excited. One being that you could finally be able to read a sentence clearly for once by being taught by a complete brain-whizz and two, getting to spend some one on one time with Tech. Because well… you liked him. A lot. You had welcomed the chance to be near him, maybe even impress him.
But now? Now you just felt like dead weight.
These lessons had been going on for a while now and every time you thought you were making progress, he corrected you. When you think you have gotten the hang of it, your hope is snapped like a thin wire. And even though his tone was rarely harsh, the impact landed just the same.
You weren’t sure how much more of it you could take before you self imploded.
🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧
When a few hours had passed and you were covered in dried mud, scraped hands and aching shoulders. Just a small testament to the day’s work. The mudslide had hit the outskirts of the local settlement hard. Homes had caved in, supplies were lost. You, Hunter, Wrecker, and Omega had been on the ground all afternoon, helping wherever you could.
And for a little while, it had helped. Being useful. Doing something physical. Something that didn’t require datapads or deciphering Tech’s disappointment.
Wanting nothing more than to jump onto the Marauder to have a wash, as you climbed the Marauder’s gangplank with your limbs heavy and clothes still damp, the sound of your name halted you just short of the open doorway.
“She’s trying, Tech,” Echo said from inside, his voice low but firm. “I don’t think you realise how hard this is for her.”
“I am aware,” Tech replied curtly. “But effort without measurable progress doesn’t change the result. If she cannot fathom basic reading material after this long, I fail to see the point in continuing the same method.”
Echo exhaled, clearly trying to keep his patience.
There was a pause, and then Tech added:
“I don’t understand how someone who can’t read was cleared to be in this squad. It’s inefficient.”
You didn’t stay to hear more.
Your hands clenched into fists at your sides, your breath sharp in your throat. Before you could stop yourself, you reached out and grabbed a datapad left near the hatch—someone’s, anyone’s—and turned sharply on your heel, boots pounding against the ramp as you vanished.
Inside the Marauder, Echo’s head turned toward the hatch, catching the blur of movement just as it disappeared.
He frowned. “Was that—?”
“Likely Omega,” Tech said without looking up from his datapad.
Echo didn’t answer. He stared at the doorway a moment longer with a small sliver of doubt.
Then he reached over and plucked the datapad from Tech’s hands.
“There’s nothing wrong with the material,” Tech started, instinctively straightening. “It’s relevant—”
Echo held the pad up and squinted at the screen. “You gave her an economics summary on Corellia’s supply line recovery?”
Tech blinked. “It’s context-based learning. The vocabulary is advanced but rooted in familiar scenarios. Planet names, trade metrics…”
Echo cut him off, reading aloud in a dry tone:
‘Blah, blah, blah… Corellia’s industrial sectors yielded a net increase of 17.3% in hyperlane freight throughput.’
He looked at Tech. “You do remember she’s a beginner, right?”
Tech’s jaw twitched. “Comprehension improves when one is challenged. It’s a proven learning model.”
Echo just stared at him, then gave a slow, knowing smile. “Right. You’re not making it harder so you get more time alone with her or anything.”
Tech shot him a glance. “That’s not what this is.”
“Mm-hmm.” Echo folded his arms. “Just a coincidence you give her material most cadets wouldn’t see until advanced training. And you happen to offer to teach it… one-on-one.”
Tech didn’t answer. Didn’t rise to the bait. But he also didn’t correct him.
You wandered until the forest opened up into a small clearing just outside the village, where a fallen tree had settled along the edge like a broken bench. The air was still, heavy with the scent of wet ground and crushed foliage. You dropped onto the moss-covered trunk, the datapad still clutched in your hand.
For a moment, you just stared at it—its dull, lifeless screen reflecting your muddied reflection back at you. You pressed the activation switch, but the interface was already unlocked. Swiping clumsily, you tried to navigate to something, anything. Maybe one of those Corellian reports Tech was so convinced would teach you context. But the layout made no sense.
Your thumb hovered. You tapped wrong. Backed out. Tried again.
Nothing worked.
And with every failure, that old, tight feeling started rising in your throat like a scream.
Calm down. It’s just a datapad. It’s fine.
But your hands were shaking now, the letters blurring into meaningless shapes.
You grit your teeth, jabbed the screen once more and when it brought up another menu you didn’t know, you let out a rough breath and flung the datapad down into the grass with a thud.
Slumping off the log, you slid to the ground and pulled your knees up to your chest, resting your forehead against them. You didn’t cry. Not really. But your eyes stung. Your chest ached. You were so tired of trying. So tired of hoping and for what? To be called inefficient?
Minutes passed. Then, from somewhere beyond the trees, you heard your name being called.
Your stomach twisted. You knew that voice.
You inhaled slowly through your nose, forcing down the storm of frustration that still bubbled beneath your ribs. You didn’t want to talk to him but you figured that avoiding him now would only make things worse.
“I’m over here, Tech,” you called out, keeping your voice level.
He appeared between the trees moments later, his eyes scanned the clearing until they landed on you, standing now beside the log.
“You wandered off,” he observed plainly. “Omega was not certain where you’d gone.”
“I needed some air,” you said, trying to keep your tone casual.
He took a step closer. “Are you ready for your lesson?”
Your gaze dropped to the ground. “I’m… I don’t want to do another one today.”
Tech blinked, thumb pressing beneath his chin in that thoughtful way he always did when evaluating something... or someone. “Lack of practice results in insufficient performance.”
“Yeah, I get it.” You rubbed your arm, eyes narrowing slightly. “I’m not in the mood to do anything else today. I’m… tired.”
He studied you, his brow furrowing faintly. “I suppose that is reasonable. You were engaged in extensive manual labor for most of the day. Very well. We will resume tomorrow.”
He turned to go but you spoke up, “I don’t want to do it tomorrow either.”
He paused mid-step, looking over his shoulder at you, an eyebrow raised. “And why are you putting off your studies?”
You opened your mouth, then closed it again. You wanted to tell him. Wanted to throw his words back at him, cut him open like he’d done to you without even knowing. But what was the point?
“I just need a break,” you said instead, keeping your voice even as you play with your fingers.
“We have plenty of free time to continue—”
“I said I wanted a break, Tech,” you snapped, your arms folding tightly across your chest. Your shoulders stiffened as every nerve seemed to buzz.
He blinked again, head tilting slightly. “Your tone suggests there is something else bothering you.”
You looked away, lips tight. “Or someone,” you muttered under your breath.
“What was that?”
“I’m going for a wash,” you said instead, ducking down and snatching up the datapad you’d discarded. You moved to step over the fallen log and held it out to him without looking.
He took it from your hand, confusion still etched into his features. “Were you just using this?”
You let out a tired sigh. “Tried to.”
The next morning passed slowly, the heat thick and relentless even in the early hours. Yourself and the others helped out in the village again —carrying supplies, sorting debris, fetching water—but your heart wasn’t in it today. Your hands worked on muscle memory whilst your mind is elsewhere.
You’d been quiet. Too quiet, apparently because Omega had noticed.
You were sitting beneath a large tree at the edge of the village, the sun flickering through its canopy, offering shade as a gentle breeze stirred the leaves. You were tracing random patterns into the dust with the toe of your boot when Omega plopped down beside you.
She offered a bright smile, hugging her knees to her chest. “Feels nice to be helping people, huh?”
You nodded in reply, smiling faintly. “Yeah.”
She watched you for a moment, rocking slightly as she stared out at the village. “You seem kinda quiet today.”
You shrugged, trying to play it off. “Just tired.”
Omega leaned her shoulder into yours, playfully and soft. “You didn’t even complain when Wrecker gave you that heavy crate. That’s how I really knew something was up.”
That got a small chuckle out of you.
She tilted her head. “You and Tech didn’t do your lesson this morning.”
You grimaced before you could stop yourself. “I don’t want to do them anymore.”
Her brows knitted. “Why not? You were doing good yesterday. You almost had Corellia right!”
You stared down at your hands, fingers fiddling with a loose thread on your shirt. “I just… I don’t think I can learn from him.”
Omega blinked, surprised. “Did you tell him that?”
You gave a little shrug, not looking at her. “Not really.”
She fell silent for a moment, thinking. Then, in a hopeful voice, she offered, “Maybe I could help?”
You looked up at her, surprised. “You?”
She nodded eagerly. “Why not? You already got the first letters down before I ruined it yesterday.” She says, “And I bet I could make it more fun than Tech.”
You hesitated at first but truthfully, it was the first time since yesterday you didn’t feel like a complete failure. Omega’s eyes were wide with hope and something that felt a lot like belief.
You smiled, a little uncertain, but it reached your eyes. “Alright. Let’s try it.”
“Great! Stay here!” She shot to her feet before you could ask what she needed.
You expected her to run into the Marauder for a datapad but instead, she ducked underneath the ship’s hull and rummaged around in the loose red soil.
A moment later, she returned triumphantly holding a thick, crooked stick like it was a prized trophy.
“No screens today,” she grinned, “just dirt!”
She crouched low beside you, and with one sweep of her hand, cleared a wide patch of dust between you. Then, with careful, deliberate strokes, she began to write out the alphabet.
“You ready?” she asked, smiling up at you.
You nodded and leaned in beside her, cross-legged.
“Okay. Repeat after me.” She tapped each letter as she said it aloud, slow and clear:
“A… B… C…”
You followed, stumbling a few times, but she didn’t mind. She would just start the whole thing over, patient and gentle. You did it again. And again.
And again.
And again….
Then she covered some of the letters with her hand and pointed to a random one. “What’s this one?”
You hesitated. “Uh… F?”
She shook her head. “Try again.”
You frowned, staring at the rest of the row, mentally replaying her voice in your head. “...G?”
“Yes!” She beamed. “Now this one?”
You pointed. “P?”
She giggled. “That’s a Q. Close though!”
With every repetition, you felt something shift. Like you were actually getting the hang of it.
You started getting more right. You hesitated less. By the time you went through the whole alphabet again, she sat back with a triumphant smile.
“Alright,” she grinned, handing you the stick. “Your turn.”
You blinked. “Huh?”
“I want you to write my name.”
You laughed nervously. “Omega?”
“Yup! Easy, right?”
“Uh… sure.” You crouched again, stick poised awkwardly in your hand. “Okay… O.”
“Perfect!”
“...M.”
She paused. “Hmm…”
You glanced up as she was pulling a face, lips squished to the side with one eyebrow raised. A funny way to say ‘try again’ without being harsh.
You looked back at the row of letters, furrowing your brow. “Wait… no. That’s N. This is M.”
You corrected yourself and carved it into the dirt.
“Nice!” she beamed. “Keep going!”
It took a few minutes, a few wrong turns, but eventually, you finished all five letters.
“O-M-E-G-A.”
She stared at the letters in the dirt, then at you with wide-eyed glee.
“You did it!”
You couldn’t help the grin that spread across your face. Not forced. Not faked. Just real, honest pride.
“Yeah,” you whisper, sitting back. “Guess I did.”
Over the next few days, Tech noticed a pattern.
Every time he approached you about resuming your lessons, you deflected. A quick, polite excuse here. A firm “not today” there. Sometimes you didn’t even look at him when you said it.
At first, he chalked it up to fatigue. You’d been helping the villagers every day; moving debris, rebuilding homes, lifting spirits. But then he started noticing something else.
You were still learning. Just not with him.
From a distance, he saw you under the same wide tree where Omega first brought the stick and drew the letters in the dirt. She was sitting beside you, her arms moving in animated gestures as she pointed at something in the soil. You were watching her, laughing. Your smile was so bright it nearly startled him.
He tilted his head, hands folded behind his back as he watched the exchange from across the field. You used to smile during his lessons too. The first day, you’d grinned when you got your first word right.
He remembered it well.
In fact… he had the recording saved. Privately.
He’d downloaded the footage from his goggles later that night, under the guise of reviewing your reading pattern. But really, he’d wanted to see your smile again. The way your eyes lit up, the little wrinkle in your nose when you laughed.
But slowly, through each lesson, that smile faded. Replaced by hesitation. Then frustration. Then silence.
And now you were smiling again. Just not at him.
That afternoon, while you were away with Hunter and Echo, Tech approached Omega, who was fiddling with the stabiliser plate under the Marauder’s wing.
“May I speak with you for a moment?”
Omega blinked up at him, wiping a bit of grease from her cheek. “Sure!”
He adjusted his goggles. “It’s about her… reading progress. Has she been improving?”
Omega lit up. “Oh yeah! She’s doing so well. She even wrote my name in the dirt without help the other day!”
He nodded slowly, filing away the information. “I see. That is… impressive.”
Omega tilted her head then shrugged. “She said she might try reading a ration label next.”
Tech blinked. “Ration labels?”
“Yep! Said she wants to know what she’s eating before Wrecker makes her try it.” She giggled, then paused. “Why? You don’t think she can learn from me?”
“I did not say that,” he replied quickly, perhaps a bit too stiffly. “I merely did not know what… qualities you might offer that I lacked.”
Omega gave him a long look, then shrugged. “I guess I’m just more fun than you.”
Tech frowned. “Most likely.”
She smirked, but then the teasing faded, and she turned more serious. “She didn’t stop lessons with you because she doesn’t want to learn. She just… got upset.”
Tech’s brows drew together. Upset? With me?”
Omega nodded, biting her lip. “She told me that she heard something. Well, she overheard you. You were on the ship talking to Echo about her.”
Tech’s mind reeled back. He’d said many things to Echo over the course of those conversations—some blunt, some logical, most private. “I did not say anything bad.”
Omega gave him a tight look. “You told me that she heard you say that it was ‘inefficient’ for her to be on the team because she couldn’t read.”
Tech opened his mouth, paused, then exhaled sharply.
“Ah,” he said at last. Perhaps that came out harsher than he intended.
He hadn’t yelled at you. He hadn’t scolded you. He never once implied you weren’t trying. But now, playing back through someone else’s voice, his words sounded callous.
Omega watched his face, seeing the moment it clicked.
“If it makes you feel better,” Omega started softly, “She doesn’t think you meant it, but it still hurt her. That’s why she’s been sad.”
Tech’s voice was quiet. “I see.”
Omega studied him for a beat. “You really didn’t mean it?”
He hesitated but only for a moment. “No,” he said sincerely. “I believe I was frustrated with myself. Not her. And the lesson was overly advanced. Echo pointed that out.”
Tech sighed through his nose, adjusting his gloves. “I believe I may have allowed my feelings to affect my judgment.”
Omega looks startled. “Your feelings?” She teased.
He looked away. “It is irrelevant.”
But Omega was already grinning. “You like her.”
He adjusted his goggles again, silent but not dismissive.
“I knew it.”
Tech rolled his eyes but then a thought clicked. “Did she inform you of anything else she heard? Possibly regarding my… feelings?”
Omega shook her head, “Nope, but maybe you should speak to her about that to her face.”

You sat by the old log again, your knees tucked up loosely and your fingers picking at a loose thread on your pants. The sun had started to shift, casting longer shadows across the clearing. Omega was supposed to meet you soon and today's lesson would be under the trees for a change of scenery. Actually she was the one who suggested it, thinking you might like some quiet after spending so much time helping the villagers.
A twig snapped in the distance, and you smiled softly. "Omega?" you called, turning your head toward the sound.
But when the figure stepped through the trees, your breath caught in your throat.
It wasn’t Omega. It was Tech.
He moved towards you, eyes scanning the area until they landed on you. His expression was neutral and composed. Then, you swear that his gaze softened.
You scrambled to your feet, trying to act casual even as your stomach twisted. “Oh—uh, is Hunter looking for me? Do I need to head back to the village?”
Tech shook his head, stopping a few feet from you. “No. The situation there is under control. Echo and Wrecker are assisting, and Omega is occupied with another matter.”
You hesitated. “…So… you’re here instead of her?”
“Yes,” he said plainly. “I thought it appropriate that we talk, also.”
Your stomach sank a little, and you dropped your gaze to your boots, toeing the dirt. “I, um… I’m sorry I didn’t come and tell you I was dropping your lessons.”
“There is no need to apologise,” he replied, his voice measured but… gentler than you expected. “In retrospect, I recognise that my methods were poorly suited to your learning stage. I attempted to teach you material that was far too advanced, and for that, I take full responsibility.”
You looked up slowly, your throat a little tight. “I don’t think I’m ready now either,” you admitted, your voice low.
“That’s perfectly alright,” Tech said simply. “I did not come to resume formal instruction. I only wish to observe what Omega has already taught you.”
You tilted your head slightly, studying him. His shoulders weren’t tense, and there was no datapad in his hands. He looked reasonably patient which wasn’t what you had been used to.
You still hesitated. But then, he smiled and Maker, your knees almost crumbled beneath you. Curse him for being annoyingly adorable.
“S-sure,” you stammered eventually, barely managing a nod.
He stepped forward and sat beside the log without another word, resting his arms on his knees. You sat back down with him and instinctively held your hand out, ready to ask for the datapad, but Tech gently shook his head.
“Omega mentioned that using the ground has helped you more visually. I see no reason to change a method that has been working.”
You blinked at him, genuinely surprised. “You’re… being very lenient.”
“I’m being adaptable,” he corrected, though the corners of his mouth twitched like he was trying not to smile again.
You couldn’t help but return a small one of your own. “Alright… what would you like me to do?”
Tech reached into one of his belt pouches and pulled out a long, clean stick—clearly chosen specifically for this.
“Please write out the basic alphabet for me,” he said, offering it to you.
You took it and then you turned toward the dirt, drew a steadying breath, before lowering the stick.
Crouched beside the alphabet you'd just drawn in the dirt, Tech had his hands loosely clasped together. He said nothing as you finished the last letter, and though a part of you itched for his input, he simply observed in silence.
You weren’t sure if that was better or worse.
After a moment, he reached into one of his belt pouches again and carefully pulled out a folded stack of flimsi. “Omega prepared some simple quotes,” he explained. “Short phrases. Easier to process at this stage than full documents.”
He handed them over, and you took them carefully, the thin sheets a little crinkled at the edges from being carried around. You glanced down.
The first said: “Wrecker is loud.”
You gave a small huff through your nose.
The second: “Hunter smells like the forest.”
You smiled faintly. You could hear Omega’s voice in your head. As you read them out, slowly but surely, you see Tech nodding beside you with each word you get right.
The third said: “The moon is big.”
Tech, predictably, cleared his throat. “Technically, that is a misleading generalisation. There are thousands of celestial bodies classified as moons, and their size varies depending on the system. Some are smaller than a standard transport—”
You didn’t look up, but your smile widened all the same. You could practically feel the lecture coming.
You kept reading, fumbling only on a couple of the trickier words. The pace was slow, but steady. You were halfway through the last sheet when Tech said, quite suddenly:
“I’m impressed.”
You paused.
Your eyes stayed on the flimsi, but your expression changed. His voice had been gentle, even sincere—but for some reason… it didn’t land the way it used to. Not like before, when any praise from Tech would have lit you up inside.
You slowly lowered the flimsi. “You don’t have to lie to me,” you murmured.
Tech tilted his head slightly, brows drawing together. “I am not lying. I am genuinely impressed by how quickly you’ve picked up the basics. Your progress is tangible.”
But still, you didn’t look up. The compliment just didn’t feel real. Or maybe it felt too late.
There was a long pause before he spoke again.
“It has come to my attention,” he begins carefully, “that you may have overheard a conversation I had with Echo… a few days ago.”
You went still. Your grip on the flimsi tightened slightly. It was not something you wanted to talk about but supposedly getting it out in the open was better than letting it tear you up inside. And judging by Tech’s quieter approach, it was tearing him up too.
You gave a single nod, still not meeting his gaze. “I don’t want to be inefficient to you.”
Tech didn’t respond right away.
Instead, you felt the flimsi gently slip from your hand. He set them then shifted, turning his body slightly more toward you.
You let out a slight exhale when you felt his hand brush against your wrist. Just a light, uncertain touch that was enough to draw your attention.
You turned toward him slowly, sitting up straighter.
“Your strength,” he utters quietly, “has never been in what you already know… but in how determined you are to learn. That’s something even I struggle with.”
You stared at him, lips parted slightly. Your cheeks prickled with heat at the unexpected praise. He didn’t sound like he was saying it just to fix things, he genuinely meant it. “And I am sorry for what you heard. I often say things without thinking of the possible repercussions.
“…Thank you,” you reply softly, voice barely louder than the breeze through the trees.
Tech’s hand withdrew from your wrist, but his gaze lingered, as if searching your expression for more unspoken feelings. After a moment, he cleared his throat gently and adjusted his posture.
“Would you like to resume your lessons with me?” he asked.
You looked at him, your heart still thudding a little too hard. But this time, the words came easily, bright with something lighter than before.
“Yes,” you say quickly, with more eagerness than you meant to let on. “I—I’d like that.”
A flicker of something passed over Tech’s face. Maybe relief. He reached beside him and picked up the remaining flimsis from the small stack, selecting a fresh one before handing it over to you.
“Then let us continue,” he said, voice returning to that familiar cadence you knew; firm, but encouraging.
You straightened up and took the flimsi with both hands, your eyes scanning the first line.
“Wrecker… eats… all… the rations.”
Tech gave a soft snort. “That one may be based on an actual occurrence.”
You smiled and read on. The next was simple too, and the one after that. Occasionally, you stumbled. When you did, Tech didn’t chide—he simply leaned in, pointing softly to the word with a gloved fingertip, his voice low and patient.
“Try this syllable first—yes, exactly. Now the next.”
You did your best to focus on the letters but it was difficult. When he leaned that close, all cognitive thinking was out of the window. His shoulder brushed yours now and then and you could smell the faint metallic tang of his gear, mixed with the sharp scent of oil and a tinge of light sweat. However there was something else entirely him. Every time he moved nearer, your stomach fluttered like a startled flock of birds.
You were just getting into a good rhythm when you picked up the next flimsi from the pile. you could tell even before you started reading that this one was Omega’s doing.
Still, you gave it your best shot.
“Tech has… fe-…”
You frowned, squinting at the next letters.
“Fe-el… fe-lin… no—”
Your voice trailed off as Tech suddenly reached forward and plucked the flimsi right from your hands, holding it out of view with alarmingly fast reflexes.
“That one,” he said stiffly, “was a mistake. Omega must have included it by error.”
You blinked at him. “I was just starting to get it. I saw both our names.”
He faltered. “Yes, well. She must have been… testing your recognition skills.”
Your frown deepened as you leaned slightly, trying to peer around his shoulder. “What did it say? I recognised ‘Tech’ and my name. But not the rest.”
He looked mildly horrified, holding the flimsi higher as if you might leap up and grab it. “It was… structurally inconsistent.”
“…With what?”
“With the lesson plan.”
You raised an eyebrow, slowly. “So it didn’t not say something?”
Tech cleared his throat, looking up at the sky as though he might find a convenient distraction there. “We should return to the prior reading. I believe you were progressing well.”
Your lips twitched. Despite the warm burn in your cheeks and the racing questions spinning in your head, a flicker of amusement bloomed in your chest. Because Tech was very clearly flustered.
And for once, you weren’t the only one stumbling over your words.
“I believe we should return to the lesson,” Tech resumes, voice slightly higher than usual as a flush creeps up his neck.
You bit your tongue on a grin, letting him have the diversion. For now.
“Fine. But I’ve been struggling with something.”
Tech adjusted his goggles, “Yes?”
“It’s the ‘oo’ sounds,” you said, fiddling with the stick in your hand. “Like… how do I know if it’s pronounced like in ‘book’ or ‘moon’? They look the same to me.”
“Ah,” Tech said, pleased to be back in familiar territory. “That is a very common challenge, even for native speakers of Basic. It is primarily about memorisation, but there are contextual cues…”
He gestured as he spoke, one hand drawing invisible words in the air, the other occasionally flicking toward the dusty alphabet he'd helped you draw earlier. His brow creased adorably in concentration, and it was then that you realised you’d stopped listening to the explanation. Completely.
You were watching him . Watching the way he talked, how his whole body became animated with his words.
It hit you all at once. That same warm flutter you’d felt during your very first lesson with him. When it was just you, and him, and a thousand ways he accidentally made your heart beat faster.
“Tech,” you cut in suddenly, blinking yourself back to focus. “What did Omega write?”
His hand froze mid-gesture. Slowly, his eyes widened behind his goggles. “I… do not believe that is relevant to the lesson.”
Your eyes narrowed with a teasing smirk. “That wasn’t a no.”
He shuffled slightly, edging away as if he was guilty of something.
That was all the confirmation you needed.
You lunged.
He yelped in a surprised sort of way as you dove over his lap, trying to reach the hidden flimsi. “This is not going to help with your literacy!” he protested, trying to fend you off with one arm as he reached behind him with the other.
“Oh, I think it might,” you laughed breathlessly, dodging his elbow and scrambling after the paper. “Consider it a very interactive learning experience!”
“I must protest—!” he began, but you’d already tangled yourself half across him, your fingers grazing the edge of the flimsi just before—
He rolled.
One quick movement and your world flipped, quite literally. Your back presses into the warm ground as he pinned you there. Tech hovered over you, one hand braced beside your head, the other knocking the flimsi just out of reach again.
You stilled.
He stilled.
Both of you froze in the silence that followed, hearts pounding. It wasn't from the mock wrestling, but from the fact that now Tech was so close. His goggles were slightly askew, and the wild fluster in his expression was undeniable.
Neither of you spoke. Not at first. Your hands were still tangled in the folds of his armour, his knee pressing into the dirt beside your hip, his weight above you holding you firmly in place.
“…This is also not helping with your literacy,” he said finally.
“I really didn’t mean to upset you,” he then speaks quietly, breath catching halfway through.
Your own voice was soft when you answered. “It’s okay. I’ve had two really good teachers.”
The wind picked up gently, brushing strands of hair across your face, and carrying with it the flimsis that had been scattered beside the log. You didn’t even notice them dancing away at first, neither of you willing to look anywhere else but at each other.
Your gaze broke from his however when a pale scrap fluttered to the ground just beside your hip, its scrawled ink catching your eye.
And you read it aloud before you could think twice.
“‘Tech has feelings… for…’” you read slowly, your breath catching, “f-for… y-you.”
Silence followed.
Tech didn’t speak.
Didn’t even correct your pronunciation.
Instead, his eyes dropped from yours, and you watched as the heat crept up his neck, blooming across his ears. He cleared his throat, the motion stiff and unconvincing. “That… appears to be the one Omega wrote.”
Your heart thudded. You didn’t know what to do at first or what to say. You had dreamed of hearing those words, but somehow reading them yourself felt like a different kind of victory.
Slowly, you reached for the hand he’d braced beside your head, your fingers brushing his. There was hesitation in your touch, and something in it made him glance up, brows drawn.
“I have feelings for you too,” you said softly, carried on a nervous breath.
He stared at you with those beautiful wide eyes, clearly stunned. “You… do?”
A warm laugh slipped out of you. “I do.”
And before you could say anything else, before you could even process the shift in his gaze, Tech slid an arm around your back and pulled you upright with unexpected, fluid strength.
You gasped as you landed squarely in his lap, eyes wide, your hands flying instinctively to his shoulders. “Tech!” you squeaked.
But his hands found your waist, firm but gentle, grounding you again.
He was impossibly close now. Goggles still a little wonky, breathing slightly elevated. “I believe,” he starts softly, “I no longer require you to read aloud whether I may kiss you.”
A grin tugged at your lips, heart hammering as your fingers brushed the curve of his cheek and then carefully fixing his goggles. “Well,” you murmured, barely more than a breath, “I don’t mind at all.”
The kiss met you halfway, tentative for a moment, then deepening with quiet certainty. His lips were soft, tasting of sunlight and stored-up longing, his hand moving to cradle the back of your neck like you were something rare, fragile and cherished.
And as the trees whispered overhead and a forgotten scrap of flimsi fluttered past your boots, all thoughts of lessons, of hesitation, of past hurt all melted away.
The lesson was over.
But something else had only just begun

Heyyy, i’ve got an idea for a Lando x reader fic!
Basically Lando and the reader have been friends their whole life since their parents are good friends and they go on vacations together all that shit. And the reader has had a crush on Lando for some time now and what she doesn’t know is that Lando likes her too and one night they’re celebrating midsummers (or whatever) and he tells her he likes her and they kiss and talk all night and cuddle and stuff like that, but the next day Lando is ignoring the reader and pretends like nothing happened and goes on to ignore her for like a good year or two until one night they talk and he says he’s sorry for all that and they have their happy ending. Super angsty and sad but fluff at the end!
Don’t feel obligated to write this if you don’t want to, it’s just something i came up with and could never write myself (i can’t write to save my life) but i really like your fics and thought you could!

I‘ve missed this
Summary: Lando confesses his love on midsummer night but pushes you away for years before finally apologizing and winning you back.
Genre: angst, fluff
Lando x f!reader
TW: None!
A/N: DW girl I got your back!! again sorry that you had to wait! School is kicking my ass and I’m about to crash out because of my driver license (that shit is expensive af) English is not my first language. I hope you enjoy it though! Requests are open and welcome!
Masterlist pt. 2

The golden glow of the midsummer sun bathed the lawn in a warm, ethereal light. Strings of fairy lights crisscrossed overhead, and laughter filled the air as family and friends celebrated another year of togetherness.
You sat at the edge of the garden, the sound of the waves from the nearby lake mingling with the music. Your eyes scanned the crowd until they landed on him—Lando Norris.
He stood by the fire pit, laughing with a group of friends, the amber glow highlighting his cheekbones and the soft curls that framed his face. You’d known him your entire life, thanks to your parents’ friendship. Vacations, holidays, birthdays—he’d always been there, your constant companion.
And somewhere along the way, you’d fallen for him.
It wasn’t just his boyish charm or his crooked smile that made your heart race. It was the way he made you laugh when you wanted to cry, the way he always seemed to know what you needed without you having to say it.
But he didn’t know how you felt. And you weren’t sure he ever would.
“Why are you sitting here alone?”
His voice startled you, and you turned to see him standing there, hands shoved in his pockets. He tilted his head, a playful grin tugging at his lips.
“Just… thinking,” you replied, trying to keep your voice steady.
“Thinking, huh?” He dropped down onto the grass beside you, his knee brushing yours. “Care to share?”
You hesitated, glancing down at your hands. “It’s nothing important.”
He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “Come on, you can tell me anything.”
You looked up at him, your heart skipping a beat at the way his eyes sparkled in the fading light.
“Alright,” you said, forcing a smile. “I was just thinking about how much has changed since we were kids.”
His expression softened, and he nodded. “Yeah. Feels like yesterday we were building sandcastles and arguing over who got the last popsicle.”
You laughed, the memory warming your chest. “You always took it, by the way.”
“Only because you let me,” he teased, nudging you gently.
Silence settled between you, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. The sounds of the celebration faded into the background as you both stared at the lake, its surface shimmering like molten gold.
“I’ve missed this,” he said suddenly, his voice quiet.
“Missed what?”
“Us.” He turned to you, his eyes searching yours. “It feels like we’ve both been so busy with life lately. I hate that we don’t get to spend as much time together anymore.”
Your chest tightened, his words hitting a tender spot in your heart. “Me too.”
He reached out, his hand brushing yours. The simple touch sent a jolt of electricity through you, and you had to fight to keep your composure.
“There’s something I need to tell you,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Your breath hitched, your heart pounding so loudly you were sure he could hear it. “What is it?”
He hesitated, his gaze dropping to your intertwined hands. “I’ve been trying to find the right moment to say this, but… I like you, Y/N. More than a friend should.”
The world seemed to stand still, his words hanging in the air.
“You… what?” you managed to say, your voice shaking.
He smiled nervously, his fingers tightening around yours. “I like you. I have for a while now. I just—”
You didn’t let him finish. Before you could overthink it, you leaned forward and pressed your lips to his.
For a moment, he froze, and you thought you’d made a terrible mistake. But then his hands cupped your face, pulling you closer as he kissed you back with a fervor that made your head spin.
When you finally pulled away, both of you breathless, he rested his forehead against yours.
“Wow,” he murmured, a soft laugh escaping him.
You smiled, your cheeks burning. “Wow.”
That night, the two of you talked for hours, sharing secrets and dreams you’d never spoken aloud. When the celebration wound down, you ended up curled in his arms under the stars, your heart feeling fuller than it had in years.
The next morning, you woke up with a smile, memories of the night replaying in your mind. You couldn’t wait to see Lando, to talk about what this meant for you both.
But when you went to find him, he was distant.
At breakfast, he barely met your gaze. Throughout the day, he kept conversations short, avoiding any moment that might leave you alone together.
By the end of the week, he was gone, leaving you with a hollow ache in your chest.
The weeks turned into months, and the months stretched into years. Lando’s career in Formula 1 took off, and you watched from afar as he became a household name.
He texted occasionally, but it was never personal. Just polite pleasantries, as if you were mere acquaintances. The memory of that midsummer night haunted you, the unanswered questions gnawing at your heart.
Why had he pulled away?
It wasn’t until two years later, during another midsummer celebration, that you saw him again.
He was standing by the same fire pit, his posture tense as he stared into the flames. Your heart ached at the sight of him, the familiar longing resurfacing like a wave crashing over you.
Before you could stop yourself, you approached him.
“Lando.”
He turned, his eyes widening slightly at the sight of you. “Y/N.”
The sound of your name on his lips sent a shiver down your spine.
“Can we talk?” you asked, your voice steadier than you felt.
He hesitated but then nodded, leading you away from the crowd to a quieter spot by the lake.
For a moment, neither of you spoke. The tension between you was palpable, years of unspoken words hanging heavy in the air.
“I’m sorry,” he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper.
Your throat tightened, and you looked away. “Why, Lando? Why did you pull away? After everything that happened… I thought—”
“I was scared,” he admitted, cutting you off. “That night… it meant everything to me. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized how much I had to lose if I screwed things up between us. You’re my best friend, Y/N. I couldn’t risk losing you.”
Tears welled in your eyes, his words both a balm and a dagger to your heart. “So you thought ignoring me for two years was the better option?”
“I thought it would be easier for both of us if I put distance between us,” he said, his voice thick with regret. “But I was wrong. God, I was so wrong.”
You wiped at your eyes, the weight of his apology sinking in. “Lando… do you have any idea how much that hurt me? How much I missed you?”
He stepped closer, his hands trembling as he reached for yours. “I missed you too. Every single day. And I hated myself for what I did. But I was stupid and scared, and I didn’t know how to fix it.”
Your heart ached at the vulnerability in his voice. Despite everything, you still loved him.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, his forehead resting against yours. “I’m so, so sorry.”
You closed your eyes, your tears mingling with his. “You really hurt me, Lando.”
“I know,” he said, his voice breaking. “But I swear, I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you if you’ll let me.”
For a moment, you hesitated. But then you thought of the boy who’d been your rock for so many years, the boy who’d held your hand when you were scared and made you laugh when you wanted to cry.
“I missed you,” you whispered, your voice trembling.
He pulled you into his arms, holding you tightly as if afraid you might disappear. “I missed you too.”
That night, as you sat by the lake with his arms around you, the pain of the past began to fade.
For the first time in years, you felt whole again.

Thank you for reading!

long way down ᥫ᭡ pt 3

MDNI!!!
part 1 ᥫ᭡ part 2
könig's been a big help in your scheme to get benji (your ex) back, but is that what you even want now?
(virgin fem!reader, implied age gap: reader is mid 20's, reader's ex is: pushy talking about sex (not graphic though <3), manipulative, toxic, and controlling in a flashback . aside from that, general fluff with könig! smut coming in part 4; sorry to make y'all wait but it got away from me >.<) word count: ~5k...
♡ ‧₊˚ ⋅ ౨ৎ ‧₊ .ᐟ
you finally see him in full, his mask having apparently fallen off during the night. you’re not surprised to find the könig you conjured in your head- after piecing together his self-descriptions and stories- matches what’s in front of you. you smile as your gaze traces over his crooked nose, the white scar slashing through the left side of his bottom lip, a thicker one stretching from his temple to the front of his eyebrow, a fresher looking scar dashed across the apple of his right cheek- you could lay here for hours memorizing every detail of his face, the ruggedness of years of this work contrasting endearingly with the peaceful expression on his sleeping face… well, formerly peaceful as he wakes with a start, snorting a little when he practically scrabbles to get out of the bed.
“gott im himmel, i’m so sorry, schatzi!” he rumbles, sleep clinging to every syllable as he tries to figure out how to slip out from under you without touching you. you laugh softly, patting his chest like he’s some startled horse. “no, no, it’s okay, könig, really! i’m the one who woke up using you as a body pillow. i move around a lot in my sleep…” you explain, as he fishes his mask out from the blankets, slipping it back on before tentatively laying his hand on your back again. you can feel his heart pounding through his chest, a steady rhythm against your palm.
“are you sure? it’s just- i thought you would not like being close to me like this…” he says quietly, trailing off like he’s half hoping you won’t even hear him.
“wha- is it because of the whole i’m a virgin thing?” you ask, the blanket pooling around your lap as you sit up to look at him. könig nods sheepishly, a terse movement like he's worried he’s touched a nerve there. he visibly relaxes once you laugh and playfully swat at his chest “oh, könig! you’re so- yes, i’m still a virgin, but it’s not because i’ve vowed to never touch a man or anything that serious! i’m just a little scared, is all… what if it hurts or something?” you say, your voice growing quieter at the end.
now he turns to look at you, such an earnest expression in his baby blue eyes as he too sits up in bed, the frame creaking with his movement. “it should not hurt much if it’s done- properly and carefully, schatzi…”
“tell that to benji”, you say, rolling your eyes and hugging your arms to yourself.
there’s the slightest lick of contempt in your voice as you say his name, and though it initially makes a spark of hope ignite in könig’s chest, the massive wave of concern that follows snuffs it out. “he hurt you?” he asks carefully, his hands subconsciously tightening their grip on the sheets, his entire body tensing like a drawn bow. he’s certainly fully awake now, waiting for your response with bated breath. if stevens did something to you-
“no! well- not physically… he’d been hounding me about it for weeks, sending me some wild videos he’d found on random sites of couples having rough sex, and he’d say he wanted to do the same with me. i’d try to laugh if off, being like ‘but you’d be gentler, right?’ and he’d just laugh too, as if the idea was ridiculous. he said as much when i finally got the nerve to confront him directly. i told him i’d never feel comfortable enough to have sex with him if he didn’t stop with the videos- if he didn’t promise he’d be careful with me- then he practically blew up, launching into a whole rant about how i was basically asking for him to leave, that i was such a shit girlfriend for not being willing to do this one little thing for him… i started crying, because he was being so hurtful and because i somehow actually felt guilty that i couldn’t make him happy. he stormed out after yelling at me for a good while, and that’s how we ended up the way we are now…”
könig is so still and silent when you finally turn to look at him after a couple of seconds, his unblinking eyes- locked on to the far wall- so icy blue you swear you shiver a little.
“i know it’s a bit of a pathetic story, but i didn’t think it’d be that bad” you joke awkwardly, hoping that lifts the mood and snaps him out of it. what happened wasn’t even that big of a deal, you shouldn’t have offloaded it on könig like that; he has bigger things to worry about than some dumb argument-
“i am so sorry you had to experience that, liebe. you didn’t deserve that- no one does.” he finally says, carefully taking your hand in his and squeezing it gently.
something in your chest fractures at the gentleness of his tone, the knit of his eyebrows as he looks at you with such sincerity and what you can only describe as love that it makes hot tears brim in your eyes as everything finally clicks into place: you’d dedicated years of your life to being benji’s. you’d watch every step, consider every word, practically count each breath so you wouldn’t do the wrong thing and upset him. you’d tailored every aspect of your life to best suit him, even before you’d started officially dating. you’d apologize for “always starting shit” when you’d try to speak up for yourself, when you’d say you deserved to have friends and to have hobbies and to make decisions on your own. you were right all those times you said he was too controlling, no matter all the lies he tried to tangle you up in so you wouldn’t notice. you’d always thought relationships were simply like that, that the constant ache in your chest was because of love, that his need to be centered in your life was normal- yet that wasn’t true. even in this fake relationship with könig, you’d always been respected, downright revered. your wishes were always heard and followed, every thought you spoke was thoroughly considered by him, every one of his touches gentle and always welcome by you because he never overstepped… you couldn’t fathom könig doing even a fourth of the things benjamin did. könig would never speak to you so rudely, never be pushy, never treat you like he owned you. benjamin made you live an existence of arguments and tears, feeling such guilt and shame for not tending to his needs- that you let him control everything else out of fear he’d leave, and he did so anyway, blaming you…
“benjamin fucking sucks,” you breathe, blinking away tears that blur your vision as you look up at könig. the two of you come together like a puzzle, könig wrapping you in a hug as you cling to him, holding on to his solid form as you laugh a little incredulously, questioning everything you ever thought was true love. you’re so thankful könig’s here, holding you together, murmuring soft honeyed words into your hair, exactly what you need at this moment. there’s a reason you’d never dared to say that story out loud before. you knew you had to face the ugly truth if you did: benjamin has never once cared about you, only himself.
♡ ‧₊˚ ⋅ ౨ৎ ‧₊ .ᐟ
könig quietly closed the door to his room, not wanting to wake you as you dozed off again after such an emotional morning. you’d cried it all out, finally voicing aloud every time stevens had been a dick, and könig had listened intently, his heart clenching at the thought of you experiencing that though all the years you’ve known stevens. könig did his best to cheer you up after, providing more out-in-the-field stories when you asked for a distraction, even able to draw a couple laughs from you when he told the story of that time he sat on a cactus, until you’d settled again.
he almost whined when you sent him off to work, shaking his head when you said you’d taken up enough of his time as is. you didn’t buy a single one of his excuses, knowing he was only putting off work today because he was worried about you, but you assured him you felt a lot better having talked about it, that you’d just hang out, nap, maybe visit stiletto. really, you just didn’t want to even hear stevens’ breathing right now; you were so disgusted with him. könig didn’t either. he’d rather prefer if stevens wasn’t breathing at all after your story, but you specifically asked him to not bring it up again, much less tell anyone else.
he’d never betray your privacy like that, not after you trusted him with such a delicate topic, but, god, did he want to punch stevens’ face in- “hey, man!” came horangi’s voice from behind him. könig quickly shushed him, jerking his thumb at the door. “oh, shit, sorry. your girl is still sleeping, aye? you tired her out or what?” horangi whispered, a dumb grin on his face. it wasn’t everyday he got an opportunity to tease könig like this, but was it really worth the heavy-handed slap to the back of the head könig rewarded him with?
“shut up, kim,” könig grumbled as he made his was to his office.
“ease up, i was just kidding- besides, tonight's old kev’s retirement party, remember? i know you’re not much for gatherings, but you can take notes for your own upcoming retirement party, and you can introduce your girl to the best bar in the whole city. it’s a win-win!"
“i’m going to ignore that first part, but yes, it would be nice to take my schatzi… i’ll ask her later, once she’s up” könig mused, internally wondering if you’d even be up for such a thing today. he could just forget the party, stay in with you and watch cheesy movies if the nap didn’t help your mood, but what if you did actually want to go? then it’d be rude of him to not mention it to you, wouldn’t it? yet he didn’t want you to feel pressured into going- his own head was a mess after all you’d told him…. at least he had until the end of the day to figure it out, no?
they’d arrived at his office by now, horangi quickly making himself at home in one of the chairs facing the desk. könig sat in his chair, raising an eyebrow at his friend. “is there anything else or…?”
it’s never a good thing when horangi gets serious, especially when the sunglasses come off, the clink of them against the desk ringing through the room like the toll of a bell. “look- i’ve been hearing… stories, from the recruits. they’re saying your girl had something with stevens before. not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course, but i thought you should know…” horangi rushed out, interlacing his fingers as he leaned back in the chair.
“yes…and?” asked könig, the tension leaving his body upon realizing it wasn’t a new problem.
“...you already knew?”
könig nudged his mouse, entering his password to check his emails. “of course, she told me about it when we bumped into him here.” he lied smoothly.
“oh, good.,” horangi let out a relieved sigh, making a show of shaking out his hands and legs. “i’d been worried for a bit there, and stiletto was going on and on about how i shouldn’t butt in, but what kind of brother would i be if i didn’t tell you, yeah?”
“do i give the impression that i would have a problem with that? that i’d want her less or something?” könig scoffed, side eyeing horangi as he typed out a response to a query about ammunition stock.
“no, not at all. i was that worried because i see the way you look at her, like you’ve been knocked on the head and she’s the only thing you remember. you’re in deep, man.”
könig smiled under his mask, your face suddenly overlaying his screen as he pictured you. “that i am.”
horangi barked out a laugh, slipping his glasses back on. “i didn’t even know you were capable of being that soft- thought you’d be a lonely old dog forever-”
“get out of my office, kim."
♡ ‧₊˚ ⋅ ౨ৎ ‧₊ .ᐟ
you slipped out of könig’s room, making sure to lock the door behind you with the spare key he’d left on the bedside table next to the tv remote, a little “at my office. if you need me just call, schatzi- for anything. i’ll bring lunch” scrawled on a slip of paper, alongside a wonky looking smiley face. you can’t help but return the doodled smile, your heart lifting at the comfort of even his handwriting.
you were pretty conflicted this morning, untangling your mind from all the lies benjamin fed you over the years, so much so you turned down breakfast, but now you really just wanted to stop thinking about that- about him- all together. he didn’t deserve an ounce of your energy. he never did, you'd thought, making your way to könig’s attached bathroom to wash up and depuff your eyes from all the crying. you had put on yesterday’s clothes when you were done, absentmindedly wondering if you should do a quick trip to your place to get more clothes, but then again…
would you still be staying here?
you and könig did your show last night, proving to benjamin you did stay the night, but did you even care what he thought anymore? since this morning you haven’t thought a single good thing about him, and why would you? it was looking more and more like it was time to call this whole thing off- you certainly didn’t want benjamin back anymore- but you didn’t want to blindside könig like that. you’d speak to him this evening, then it’d be done, you decided as you were stepping out.
you double checked that his door was locked and slipped the keys into your pocket before making your way to stiletto’s room, following the instructions she messaged you, the shorts she lent you rolled up in your hand. you’re so thankful benjamin doesn’t really have a reason to be out here in the private room’s area right now, because the last thing you want is to see him. still, you can’t help but feel a constant shiver along your spine as you make your way to stiletto’s, only her smiling face when she opens her door settling you again.
your “hi!” and her “bella!” overlap as she lets you in, a playful smile on her face.
“look at you all tired from last night! i won’t even ask what you were up to,” she teases, smiling even wider at the blush on your face. you always hated you could flush so easily, but right now it’s convenient because it helps sell the story, at least for this final leg of the show.
“oh, stiletto! enough, i just came to hang out. well that, and to ask where the laundry room is, so i can go wash the shorts you so kindly lent me.”
“ah, don’t worry about it, bella. i got it,” stiletto says, taking the shorts from your hand and tossing them across the room into a half full hamper. “do you need to borrow more clothes- for the party tonight?” she gently takes your hands guiding you to sit on the edge of her bed with her, the mattress dipping.
“party?” you ask, racking your mind in case könig told you and you just forgot, what with everything going on.
“your man didn’t tell you? oh, quello stupido. it’s nothing big, just a retirement thing for a guy who probably grew up with könig” she laughs at her own joke, bracing her hands on the bed as she leans back. “i’m mainly going because i’d never turn down a drink at the black dog-”
the door creaks open and horangi strolls in, his mask tucked under his chin as he snacks on some chips. “hey, stiletto-”
“stronzo, knock first! how many times do i have to tell you?”
“ugh, as if i’d want to see anything- you’d have locked the door if you were changing anyway- oh, hey!” he grins as he finally turns to see you, instantly offering his bag to you. you thank him and take a handful, laughing when stiletto reaches for some too, only to be met with a slap to her hand. in a flash she’s snatched the whole bag from him, making a big show of shovelling a handful in her mouth as horangi watches in mock horror. “this is why i don’t share with you, you always do this-”
“it”s what you get for not knocking” stiletto quips back, looking so smug as she hugs the bag to herself.
yeah, it’s safe to say your mood has completely improved watching these two bicker like toddlers. you’re really going to miss them once you leave…you can’t help but let out a quiet little sigh at the thought of never seeing them, or könig, again. maybe you could still be friends, somehow? what would they think once they heard it was all fake though…
“so?” asks hornagi, fully focused on you after accepting the loss of his chips. you blink in surprise, looking to stiletto for help.
“he asked if you were going to the party tonight” she supplies around another mouthful.
“oh! um, i actually don’t know… isn’t it like a work thing?”
horangi waves you off, settling to lean against stiletto’s dresser. “ah, old kev won’t mind. he said we could invite anyone; the more the merrier... könig’s down”.
you hum as you think, wondering if you should just make some excuse up. what would be the point of you going? könig has done enough as is, letting you take up most of his days all for a goal that you don’t even care about anymore. how could you intrude on a work thing too? he probably wants to spend time with his friends, maybe even meet someone new at this place. you can’t help but feel a pang at the thought, but you don’t even know why. there’s no point to keeping up the act, the very thought of benjamin makes you nauseous now, so you really should just leave this place behind as soon as possible. it’s only logical, but why does it hurt so much?
“come on, bella, the big guy only agreed because of you! he’s only attended these things like twice before. i just know he’d love to show you the black dog! it’s our second home away from home,” stiletto insists, making to take your hand but stopping when she catches the crumbs coating her hand.
“you think? maybe…”
“we’re sure”, says horangi, nodding at you. “at least if you go, he wouldn’t just be glaring from a corner like the rare times he has gone. i’ve never seen him so happy as when you’re around.”
“okay, i’m down, too, then.” you say, smiling at the thought of more time with könig and these two. now, you couldn’t possibly put a damper on kev’s party by calling off the plan, right? it’d be downright rude. what else can you do but wait til tomorrow for all that? your hands are totally tied here, 100%, no doubt about it. looks like the act is still on for at least another day, a thought that has you smiling as stiletto launches into searching for more clothes for you.
♡ ‧₊˚ ⋅ ౨ৎ ‧₊ .ᐟ
you now realized why könig was so excited when you met up for lunch and you told him you wanted to go to the gathering tonight. sure, the bar’s floors were a little bit sticky with past spilled drinks, and the smell of smoke from many cigarettes hung in the air, but the energy of the place was spectacular. from the dark wood to the dimmed lights hanging from the ceiling, you instantly felt a lot more at ease than you’d felt on the way here.
kev, the man of the night, was so kind when you greeted him, his hand warm and rough when you shook it. he clapped könig on the shoulder, barking out a “maybe this party should be for you and your girl, aye? look how far you’ve come, boy. i still remember when you first showed up, all scrawny like a… like a green bean, so scared of everything. you jumped ‘bout a mile into the air the first time you checked out the haunted snack machine-”
könig rubbed the back of his neck, quickly congratulating kev before steering you away, kev’s cackle followed you through the crowd.
“you said you didn’t believe it was really haunted,” you tease, grinning up at him as he led you between the tables and other attendees, your hand in his. “well, yes, i eventually reached that conclusion after some investigating,” he said carefully, avoiding looking at you. “it had been acting funny for so long, what was i supposed to think, schatzi?” könig whined, making you laugh harder.
“bella!” stiletto shouted, waving at you from the table she and horangi had commandeered. “we were wondering where you were!” she gushed as she stood to press a soft kiss to your cheek. “oh, i guess you’re here, too,” she joked, sparing könig a quick glance.
he rolled his eyes, helping you into your chair before sitting. ever a gentleman you thought, smiling as you greeted horangi across the table.

for such a small place, it sure got lively! conversations ebbed and flowed, mixing up like a pile of threads, the tables quickly filling and the drinks flowing. the four of you chatted and joked, occasional guests popping in when horangi waved them over. kev must be well loved as soon it felt like the whole base was in the building, although you were thankful to not see many rookies. benjamin would surely think a thing like this too below him. his types of parties usually ended with multiple arrests and lots of property damage, and at least 10 people puking in bushes… you were pulled from your thoughts when könig gently nudged your hand with his, dipping his head so you’d hear him over all the clamor of voices.
“alright, liebe? wanna leave already?” he asked softly, and you just barely caught the way his brows furrowed under his mask. you smiled, feeling your heart warm at how considerate he always was, so in tune and attentive to your moods without you even having to say anything.
“no, i was just thinking… it’s so comfy. i feel like i could stay the whole night” you grin, taking a sip of your drink.
no one can ever say kev’s farewell party was boring. soon, many were launching into loud songs, others shouting at each other over the ratty pool table in the back, people stumbling as they mingled among tables. just when you’d thought horangi and stiletto ran out of embarrassing könig stories, they’d brew up another, helping each other remember details that the other didn’t.
könig’s defenses would never hold up, any excuse or reasoning for each embarrassing moment only making it worse until he just gave up, laughing along with the rest of you. his dry wheeze of a laugh only made you three break down even worse, horangi saying it sounded like crunchy leaves blowing away in the wind, before kev made his way over to the table.
“what’s going on over here? we telling war stories for the little lady? i want in,” he said, looking around for a chair yet finding them all taken. könig made to stand, about to offer his chair, but horangi held out a hand to stop him.
“easy, old man. you aren’t so young yourself, hm?” he laughed, almost sloshing a bit of his drink over his cup. “how about your girl sits on your lap, then kev gets her chair, and everyone’s happy?” he asked, smiling over at you.
“sure!” you quickly agreed, standing and taking your drink as könig scooted his chair back, making room for you. you nodded at kev’s thanks, assuring him it was perfectly fine, könig saying “komm hier, schatzi”, playing the perfect part of a loving boyfriend.
you’re thanking all the higher forces that exist for the dim lighting now, feeling your face warm as you settle on könig’s lap, biting the inside of your cheek to ground yourself. the warmth of könig’s hands radiate through your clothes as he casually holds them but a millimeter away from your hip, just enough for it to look like he’s hugging you to him from the others’ point of view, without actually touching you in this impromptu moment.
the others, to their credit, just spare you a quick glance before they’re back to loudly arguing about whether kev did or did not manage that impossible shot he’s always bragging about- trying to work out if it’s worth telling you if it’s false- and you take the opportunity to turn to könig, silently communicating in that way you’ve unlocked over these months. you give him a slightly confused look, your eyes flickering to his hands to indicate what you mean, and he raises his eyebrows in response, as if saying “your choice”.
you turn back to the table, unable to hide your smile as you place your hands over his, guiding one to fully rest on your hip and the other about midway up your thigh. kev laughs when he admits he can’t even verify the legendary story himself, “so many memories become muddled over the years, the old brain’s not what it was, you know how it is” he says, directing that last bit at könig, much to the other two’s amusement.
you playfully soothe him, patting his hands with yours as you tell him not to listen to them. horangi’s laughing like a hyena, but he has to be bailed out by stiletto when he chokes on his spit a little, and that’s enough to redirect him, the fun of teasing könig quickly forgotten when he realizes he’s got the man of the hour at the table. “willing to try your luck tonight, kev?” he asks, pulling out the pack of cards you’ve learned over the months he always has on him.
something about this feels so… right. you have never felt more at ease in your life. maybe it’s the drinks warming your gut, or just the effect of having fun with friends, but you relax, leaning back against könig's chest as the chatter of the other’s settles over you like a blanket. könig hums, the sound reverberating through his chest before he leans down to place a soft kiss on your temple.
you’re vaguely aware horangi’s showing off his shuffling skills, quickly dealing himself, then stiletto, then kev in before turning his attention to you. you shake your head when he asks if you want to play, könig saying you can help him instead, reaching past you to pick up his cards. you can’t help but mourn the loss of his hands on you, the ghost of his warmth on your hip and thigh only making you feel colder as he fans his cards out so you can see his spread too.
you never really knew yourself to be clingy, stevens always shrugging you off and rolling his eyes when you’d just try to hold his hand. guess that wasn’t really an environment for you to learn about your preferences and needs. who’d have known?
you could get used to this, truly being könig’s schatzi, visiting him on base every other day, hanging out with these new friends- learn card tricks from horangi, train with stiletto- finally experience what an actual loving relationship is… you’re almost certain he feels this same way. what else would you call his kindness, his gentleness, the way he always turns to you first… he wouldn’t have agreed to this whole hare brain scheme if he didn’t like you, if he thought you were annoying, right?
you watch the game play out in front of you, basking in this delicate warmth as you lean your head against könig’s shoulder, breathing in that comforting pine scent that always clings to him. he makes a little noise of surprise, and you know it's because you’re acting different, but you shake your head, cutting off his concern before he even asks if anything’s wrong. “just got a little cold,” you say quietly, hearing horangi complain that he’s losing, that stiletto must be cheating, old kev settling their bickering.
“oh, schatzi! you should have said so” könig murmurs, a smile on his voice as he reaches for his jacket draped on the corner of kev’s- formerly your- chair, and lays it over you, tucking it around you like it’s a blanket. it feels like one, with how vast and worn it is.
you can see some irregular stitches at the shoulder seams, and you smile to yourself at the thought of könig tearing his jacket because he forgot how wide his shoulders are, he must have stretched just a bit too far, and then that night he put his sewing skills to work, stitching the pieces back together. he’d look so cute, maybe his tongue would stick out just the slightest bit as he focuses on his work, his brows would furrow in that way they do when he’s turning something over in his mind- well shit.
you let out a shaky puff of breath, feeling your hands tremble just the slightest bit as you wrestle with the undeniable fact: you’ve fallen for könig. you’ve been falling since you first spoke to him, clinging to every detail he mentioned, memorizing the inflections in his voice, finally truly laughing for the first time in a while thanks to his stories over the phone. you’d initially braced yourself for him to ask about you and stevens when he mentioned the letter, but he never pried, only took what you gave him, and you quickly learned he wasn’t the type of guy to press and insist like that.
it’s why you trusted him so much since the beginning, why you’ve never once felt apprehensive or nervous around him- not counting the butterflies you’d ignored over the past months…
könig peeks down at you, a quiet “are you sure you’re okay, liebe?” drawing you from your thoughts.
“yeah… yeah, i’m good,” you breath out, assuring him with a smile. “i’m just gonna go get some air” you say, sliding off his lap and standing.
könig quickly drops his cards on the table, face up, making to stand after you “i’ll go with you”.
“no, no, you stay and finish your game! i’ll just be right outside.” you insist, placing your hand on his shoulder, and he actually stays seated, but he’s looking up at you with those worried puppy eyes of his.
"schatzi-”
“stay” you say, smiling as you can practically hear him whine in response, but, just like a well-trained dog, he wouldn’t go against you. really, there’s nothing for him to worry about. the street itself is well lit, those in the area are more focused on themselves; they’re respected men and women just having a night to relax.
you shut the door behind you as you take a deep breath of the cool air, tugging könig’s jacket further around you. how different life feels when you’re no longer living for someone else. the stars have never looked as pretty as they do tonight, and you’ve never felt so light of heart since this morning.
you’ll speak to könig tomorrow, tell him the plan is off, but then confess your feelings and hope he believes you. you wouldn’t hold it against him if he’s a little skeptical, just last night you were still trying to get stevens’ attention...
you shiver at the thought of him, hardly able to believe you ever once thought he was a good guy, that he was worth your effort like that. it’s laughable now that you’ve met truly good people, seen what it’s like to be treated like you’re actually someone. you check to make sure the wall behind you is clean before you lean against it, smiling up at each twinkling light in the sky.
it was as if the stars themselves were telling you everything would be okay- or maybe they were telling you to watch out, you think when you hear his voice from your left, a chill going down your spine.

pairing: spencer x reader
genre: fluff? i just thought this was a funny idea
content: established relationship, pushing the spencer reid = velma dinkley agenda, slightly bratty/sassy spencer, so much flirting/teasing, also pushing the daphne x velma agenda

——————————————————————————-🎃——————————————————————————
Sulking, Spencer lazily threw his arms around your waist with a huff.
‘I can’t believe you’re actually making me wear my glasses out of the apartment.’ He grumbled, pulling one hand away from your hip to fumble with the frames for emphasis.
‘Oh, but they’re so cute!’ You couldn’t help but smile at his pouting face as he resisted, much like a toddler refusing the outfit picked out for them.
‘I bet this whole “couples costume”’- with sarcastic finger quotes, of course- ‘was just a ruse to get me to wear them.’
‘Look at you, playing the part so well already, my little detective.’ Giggling, you propped yourself on tip-toes to plant a giddy kiss to the tip of his nose as he sighed.
‘Why do I have to be Velma anyway?’ Spencer asked, fingers pulling at the bright orange fabric bunching around his neck. ‘I would’ve much preferred a character with more breathable garments.’
‘Are you kidding?’ You raised your brows at him incredulously. It shouldn’t take a genius to see why Spencer Reid of all people was the perfect candidate to portray Velma Dinkley, if he even had the right to be called a genius right now. ‘She’s the nerdy, dorky, socially awkward, smart one who figures everything out and solves the mysteries. You’re basically her already.’
Feigning offence, he tilted his head, brows furrowing. ‘So I’m being typecasted?’
‘Well… if the glasses fit…’ You let out a laugh as he shook his head, trying to suppress his own grin in an attempt to appear unimpressed but failing miserably.
He really did look incredible in those glasses. If this man didn’t look like a prince every day already with his soft chocolatey curls that framed his face sculpted by the finest craft-men’s hands, those glasses… how could something so simple elevate him to pure perfection? As you gazed into the twinkling, honey-like eyes behind the lenses you felt buzzing in your head, butterflies in your stomach, blush rising to your cheeks and a flirty smile spread across your face as you lifted your arms around his neck, fingers threading oh-so-innocently in his hair.
‘If you co-operate I might have a very special scooby snack waiting for you when we get back.’ You bit your lip, eyes darting to his as you awaited his response.
‘Isn’t it Shaggy and Scooby that usually eat the scooby snacks?’ Of course. You forgot your boyfriend was ever the stickler for the facts- and also that he wouldn’t recognise flirting if it kissed him on the mouth. You blinked at him for a moment, dumbfounded before regaining your playfulness.
‘Hey, don’t get bratty with me, genius.’
‘At least I’m dressed, even if it’s in these ridiculous clothes you’re forcing me to wear.’ Spencer raised his eyebrows as he kicked out one leg, demonstrating the fabulously tomato red pants you’d chosen for him. ‘One of us-’ he began with a pointed look in your direction, ‘looks ready to climb back into bed.’
You looked down at yourself, slouched where you stood wearing an oversized Doctor Who t-shirt and a pair of boxers (both Spencer’s), hair messily tucked away out of your face, begging to be brushed. Unfortunately, he was right, although the idea of crawling back into bed with him and teaching him a lesson about his attitude sounded particularly tempting. You looked back up at him again, meeting his gaze.
‘I’ll go if you say it.’
Confused, he furrowed his brows in that way you adored so much but would never point out, ‘Please?’
Your heart fluttered at his tone, suddenly itching to make him say it again and again. Would it be so bad to abandon the party and drag him back to bed?
‘No, not please, Velma.’ You smirked, a mischievous glimmer in your eyes. Spencer caught on, sighing loudly as he tilted his head up towards the ceiling in mock exasperation.
‘Jinkies.’ Monotone.
A hearty laugh escaped you and you dramatically raised your fist in the air in victory. Spencer continued to shake his head, though the dopey, lovesick smile on his lips betrayed him. Satisfied, you headed into the bathroom to get ready, leaving him alone to ponder his outfit in the mirror, which he thoroughly believed made him look more like a traffic cone than anything else.
After a while you emerged from the bathroom, a silky ginger wig on your head and a vibrant purple dress paired with lilac boots adorning your body. You’d certainly admired yourself in the mirror once you were done dressing up, eager to hear what your boyfriend had to say as you stepped out the door and your eyes met.
‘I thought the point of a couple’s costume was that the characters were… you know… a couple.’ He protested instead, much to your annoyance.
‘You know Daphne and Velma are a couple in my head, Spence.’
‘Yes, yes I recall the approximately 30 times you’ve told me- in great detail- about the deleted kiss scene.’ He nodded along, remembering every time you’d paused the movie to rant to him about it.
‘Besides, if we’re typecasting you as the nerdy one then it makes sense that I’d be the pretty one, right?’ Arms out in the air, you gave a less-than graceful spin to illustrate your point, not missing the way his eyes lit up with adoration as he watched.
‘If we’re being truthful about it then you, my dear,’ you raised a suspicious brow at the sassy tone hooked on the end of his words as he placed his arms back around your waist, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead, ‘are nothing short of Scrappy Doo.’
Groaning, you pulled his arms off of you as he chuckled, but he quickly pulled you in again and turned you both to face the bedroom mirror.
‘You don’t think I look pretty?’ You pouted, trying to sound sad but the sight of his tall frame fitting perfectly against yours like pieces in a puzzle made your head spin.
‘I think you look absolutely beautiful.’ Spencer cooed, leaning over your shoulder to litter your face with light, loving kisses. ‘What about me?’
‘Hmm…’ Pulling away slightly, you narrowed your eyes as if contemplating your answer- though you’d made your mind up long ago that he looked simply ethereal, as always. ‘Well you wouldn’t wear the red skirt…’
‘I figured I could live without supplying Morgan with enough ammunition to last him til next Halloween.’ He muttered.
‘Well you look good.’ You mused, voice quiet, laced with admiration.
The two of you stayed there for a moment, swaying in eachothers arms in bliss as if nothing else in the world mattered. Spencer’s gaze flicked from your eyes to your lips, before he manoeuvred you so you were face to face. His hands on the small of your back, he pressed you closer to his chest before answering, much to your pleasure,
‘Good enough for that scooby snack, maybe?’
You decided you’d tell the team you were both sick.

tbh I don't know why everyone is so surprised that Riddle didn't pick Trey to be his Vice. I always thought that idea was contradictory to the version of Riddle that we see leading up to his overblot.
[You can see my thoughts on the book 7 chapter 12 part 2 update here!]
To quickly explain for those who don’t know: the recent update informed us that Trey was voted by his dormitory peers into the vice dorm leader position. He was not, in fact, hand selected by the newly appointed dorm leader Riddle.
I don’t really blame people for being surprised. Based on the presentation of Riddle and Trey in book 1 and what we knew prior about how vice dorm leaders are picked, the lore we learn in book 7 almost feels like it’s trying to convince us of another narrative historical revisionism, ayo/j. Let me try to explain what I mean.
Firstly, we have to remember that we spent a lot of book 1 with Trey, not with Riddle. We had lunch with Trey, we made a chestnut tart with Trey, we confronted Trey in the library, and we fought OB Riddle with Trey. We also see the camera cutting away to multiple instances of Trey trying to smooth things over with Riddle. And Trey is the one with warmth and fondness for his relationship with Riddle. Because we spend all this time with Trey (who is still attached to Riddle) versus Riddle (who is supposedly distant and detached), we get the impression that the two are closer than they truly are prior to Riddle’s OB. This impression is further strengthened by the presence of Chenya, another friend who paints their shared childhood in a largely positive light.
If you pay attention to how Riddle speaks to Trey throughout book 1 (pre-OB), Riddle does not speak warmly at all. He is usually speaking from the position of a ruler to his second-in-command and much of his dialogue with Trey is him commanding Trey to do X or Y. There’s no reminiscing about old times, no Riddle lording their childhood friendship to guilt Trey into falling in line, no leniency with Trey, nothing that would imply a connection beyond a professional one. Riddle basically treats Trey the same as Cater, his other third year minion at the time—and Riddle isn’t close with Cater at all. The one major exception I would say is right before Riddle OBs, in which he demands if Trey is also betraying him. Again, because we have spent so much time with Trey, we see Riddle from his perspective. We are more likely to view Riddle’s demand as him being hurt that his childhood friend is turning on him versus viewing Riddle’s demand as being hurt that his right-hand man who has been following his orders right up until now refuses to obey.
Really, it feels like less of an issue of fans not picking up on Riddle and Trey being alienated in early book 1 and more of an issue of how book 1 is framed. So much of it is colored by Trey’s (ironically) rose-colored lenses, so we as the viewers who are exposed to it are far more likely to see their friendship as persisting and Riddle having a soft spot for Trey as well. (Riddle is more patient later in the main story too, Granted that book 1 was so long ago, fans may remember the more patient and empathetic post-book 1 Riddle and may judge him based on that metric rather than the book 1 metric.)
Another major aspect as to why people are surprised that Riddle didn’t personally pick Trey as his vice dorm leader is because we literally didn’t know about any other methods to become vice dorm leader??? 😭 Like. I’m pretty sure that the only method we knew of before was to be picked by the dorm leader. I guess people noticed Riddle and Trey were childhood friends and assumed Riddle picked Trey because of familiarity? This is also the case with several other dorm leader/vice dorm leader duos, so this conclusion isn’t based on nothing.
Trey doesn’t strike a lot of us as a particularly… ambitious person?? He often expresses that he doesn’t like getting involved in conflicts or when people cause problems for him, which would be common occurrences for someone in a position of power like the vice dorm leader seat. You’d think Trey would actively want to avoid those responsibilities. Most of us probably didn’t think he would accept the position of vice dorm leader unless the person picking him for it is someone he cares about and/or feels like he has to support—which Riddle is. A ton of his behaviors in book 1 supports this, from doing Riddle’s dirty work and sharing that he harbors guilt over the past + struggles to speak against Riddle because of that.
Book 7 tells us what was technically true of Riddle’s perspective and treatment of Trey early in book 1. We just failed to see it before because of the lack of information and overwhelming bias at the time.
